The world is to be compared to a movie of oneness that is played in slow motion

This is leaves from a palm tree outside my window, that I have processed in a very speedy way to simulate the look of such a leaf, when its frequencies are not slowed down. The simulation though looks far from how speedy the real world is.

This image of a leaf from a palm tree outside of Alexius´ window, he has been processed in such a way that it could simulate what it looks like when the frequencies making up the leaf are not slowed down into something that appears to be definitive. Yet the simulation looks far from how speedy the formlessness of oneness is because it is so fast that it cannot be seen. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To organise, make plans and live by the hour are ways to slow down thoughts, so there is time to fabricate a perception of them that makes you feel calm, level-headed, and motivated. Brain fog, however, is better in regards to returning to that which is one because that prevents you from arranging and controlling thoughts. Hence they run as fast as they can back to their origin of nothing – just like a river runs straight to the sea when nobody tries to control it.

If you do not try to understand this article by slowing down thoughts, you will not seem to be scattered all over, neither to be centred or anything else, because it takes more than one to be something and there is no more than that which is one.

Uncontrolled thoughts run so fast that you will not be able to hang onto them – and as your appearance in a world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts, then it falls apart. It may feel like you are drowning and bout to be finished. Yet it is not the end of that which is you, because when thoughts are not slowed down anymore, they return to the nothingness from where they were conceived, and then there does not appear to be something to hide that which is you is no different from that which is one.

It is only in the world of duality, that there appears to be movements, and that there can be more of it. In reality no movements can appear, because everything move so fast that it is one perpetual present as you can see illustrated in these pics of a fan.

In the reality of that which is one everything moves so fast, that there is no movement to experience – just like the fan in the first of the two above images. When the speed of the fan is slowed down, like in the second image, there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web and manipulated by Alexius.

In the movie Lucy, Scarlett Johansson demonstrates that if you speed up time infinitely, any object disappears. This can be compared to that which is one. Everything is so speedy that it appears to be still and at one. You could also say that due to the extreme speed of that which is one, there is no time and space, and without that nothing to differ one from another.

Consequently, there is nothing to be defined as someone who believes to experience something in a slowed-down version of that which is one where there seems to be more than one.

Slow-motion is used to escape the unimaginable speed of that which is one
That which is one is so speedy that it is impossible to distinguish something from something else. Besides, oneness is formless and thus non-definable. Hence there is not something to see. Furthermore, experiencing something is not possible since it takes more than one to do so.

Oneness can be compared to a movie played so fast that none of its frames can be seen. A world where there seems to be more than one can be compared to a slowed-down version of it in which there appears to more than one frame and thus lots of different things to experience. So as you may see, returning to that which is one is not a matter of slowing down thoughts (read more about that in hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing), least of all of stopping them, because that freezes the movie and you in one of its frame separated from the others.

Fortunately, it is not possible to stop thoughts. The wish to do so is just another thought, and as long as there is a thought about stopping thoughts, the movie is still rolling, although extremely slow. Trying to stop thoughts is as far away, as you can get from that which is one because it is not deadlocked but free-flowing energy, moving at such a speed that everything is fused into one.

It is not thoughts as such that brings you back to that which is one, but their origin of emptiness because it cannot hide there is nothing outside of that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. And that for the same reason, there is not something specific inside it.

To come back to that which is one, the movie of a world where there seems to be more than one needs to speed up – or rather your thoughts about it. When not trying to organise and make sense out of thoughts they speed up so much that it is not possible to grab more than one thought at a time, so the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one fades out. In other words, eventually, there does not appear to be more than that which is one.

The squares in this image has been multiplicicated from one square by Alexius with the help of a special algorithm on his phone. So though you may get the impression, that there are several different squares with each their own individuality, they all consists of the same. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The nature of thought is multiplication, which in a world where there seems to be more than one does not change anything – just like within the context of duality nothing is lost or changed, when you multiply a piece of music on a computer. Except of course if there is someone who claims to have the right to that specific combination of thoughts. But in non-duality, there is nothing to own. The speed of it is so fast, that it is impossible to grab onto something – let alone being someone.

NOTES:

  • The above about the speediness of oneness is, of course, a metaphor. That which is one cannot be observed as that requires more than one, so there is no way to know if it is speedy. But since it is one perpetual present, it is quite likely.
