To be or not to be

That which is one has no room for the ego, as the requirement of the ego is that there is more than one, so only in a world where there seems to be more than one is there room enough for the ego. It is not because such a world is bigger, but because just like the ego it is an imagination, as oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. The famous sentence to be or not to be seems to imply, that it is better to be than not to be. And this is certainly so if you want to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, as you cannot be without another being witnessing your being, whereas not to be needs no witness and therefore no more than one. As Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are about that which is one they are about not to be.

You cannot appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one without relating to it, and doing so you appear to be part of it, unless you relate to it as a symbol of that which is one, or as if relating to it is something you pretend to do, or that you do not perceive relating to its apparent differences make a difference. In those cases* you appear to be in the world, but not as part of it.
