Who am I?

Streaming music is everywhere!

Old school gurus and wannabe´s like to ask others ´who are you?´. In this way it seems they know something you do not know, which is a clever way to trigger your feeling of inferiority, so you feel that there is someone above you who can help you. But the guru has no answer to the question and has no help to give. Nobody has, because as the same gurus normally claim, the world is an illusion or a dream and so to know, learn, or receive something is a deception.

When you are laying in your bed having a dream, the person you believe to be in the dream can do many things, that are actually not possible. A dream, however, is a fantasy, so anything is possible. Yet it is not possible for those in the dream to know, who they are, because they are not ´there´. Only the is.

Something, that is not there, cannot know that which is there, so those appearing to be in a dream can never get to know the dreamer. Neither can they ever wake up. Only the dreamer can wake up, and when it happens those who appeared to be in the dream are all gone and forgotten.

It is nobody but the ego asking: Who am I?

What is not gone though is the ´stuff´ that dreams are made of. So if you appear to be someone in a dream but do not identify with your appearance there, you are the stuff dreams are made of. That stuff is in the dreamer, so when the dreamer wakes up you are one. This requires that you are nobody and therefore have no interest in knowing ´who am I?´, as that would imply you are somebody.

Ironically the way to become nobody is to pretend, that you are somebody. By pretending to be a someone definitive, you are like streaming music, that seems to be there, but comes from somewhere else.
