(+) A joyful way to that which is you

Alexius has fun pretending to salute a friend with a glass of Limoncello. At other times he may have fun pretending to be an asshole bitching about his friends. That he has friends or anything else is of course also something he pretends. Thus nothing separates him from the empty space, where he pretends to be someone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The more the belief in being someone definitive is undone the less there is an ´I´ that seem to receive impulses for doing this and that. There does not appear to be much except for the emptiness the fantasy of being someone definitive is made from.

There are so many personalities you can pretend to be. In the Physical Intro of the Enlightened Non Teacher you can see some of those Alexius has pretended to be. Nowadays he mostly pretends to be a non teacher but also a non student. In other words, he has nothing to teach or learn.

If this seems too depressing, you can use the emptiness as a zero fill and imagine someone in it that you pretend to be, which contrary to believing to be someone is so much fun. In other words, besides from having fun from out of nothing, you are also in the most joyful way having the belief that you are someone at all undone, since what and where you pretend to be, you are not.

Except for the enlightenment of that which is one this applies to all the other duality hacks as well. In other words, whenever the emptiness that they exposes seems unbearable, you can use the emptiness as a zero fill and imagine someone in it that you pretend to be, so that you have fun from the experience of being someone definitive, while the belief that this is possible slowly but surely are being undone.

You can always use hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive in combination with the other duality hacks to tone down the hopelessness and desperation that may set in when they expose what you appear to be is fictional and not factual.

So momentarily having the slate wiped clean by a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one*, for example, you are free to make a new fiction in which you pretend to be whatever is possible within your apparent physical limitations, and as what you pretend to be you are not, the belief that you are someone definitive is being undone, while you are having fun pretending to be that.

Other duality hacks where you have fun in undoing the belief that you are someone definitive
Another duality hack that is perfect in regards to having fun appearing to be someone definitive while having the belief that this is possible undone is to perceive everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.1 Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality).

You could also adjust to the empty breath, as it automatically synchs the world of the inner and outer senses (see hack #4,5, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone), so that the abstractness of the inner ones becomes the basis for perceiving the world of the outer senses, wherefore the apparent differences of its physical elements does not appear to make a difference and therefore do not enhance the belief in you being someone definitive.

You can see all the duality hacks in the table of contents.
