Love makes no difference at all

To love or hate makes no difference. It is just two sides of the same coin, and which side of it you pretend to be, does not matter. None of the sides is that which is life, as it is no different from that which is one, which is what makes it possible pretending to be in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The oneness of life is never-ending
When the life of a computer is over, the energy, that the computer received so it could simulate a world on the screen, is still there, namely electricity. The same thing when the life of the body is over, that which made it possible for the body to appear as if it was a living thing in a world where there seems to be more than one, is still there. In Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings it has several names, for example non-duality, the oneness of life, the formlessness of oneness, one perpetual present or that which is life / one / spirit.

If you do not believe to be someone definitive you are nobody, what you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one is someone you pretend to be. That which is you is not there and so nobody is dying, when the body stops to function. The formlessness of that which is you is still there – just like when an actor is still there when he stops playing a part in a movie.

Love and hate are equally interesting expressions of passion
If you hate or love, while pretending to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, makes no difference to the oneness of life. Those feelings are just two sides of the same coin. Being identified with one of those sides though, there seems to be a big difference between them.

But that is only because the passion of love is socially accepted as good, while the passion of hate is considered as something evil, that should be controlled and kept in the dark. Yet the nervous circuits in the brain, that are responsible for the experience of hate are the same used during the experience of love.

In other words: The brain consider the passion of hate just as interesting as the passion of love. The same applies to any other contrast. It is equally exciting to explore good as bad, right as wrong, black as white and so on.

The apparent difference between the endless appearances of a world where there seems to be more than one does not make a difference, when perceived as symbols of that which makes them possible to appear.

You may, of course, choose to explore just love, but honestly where is the fun in that. Who but the unfulfilled think they need only love? And who but the beast is looking for beauty?

Love is not the answer. The world is not just beautiful. It is also ugly. If you see everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of the oneness of life, there is no reason to limit yourself to explore just one aspect of it. Think about a child who does the most unexpected things. It is amusing. And so is a world where there seems to be more than one when you see everyone as symbols of the oneness of life!*.

If wishes and desires are fulfilled or not does not matter, when perceived as symbols of the that which is life. Consequently fulfilled or not or feeling fulfilled is just as fulfilling.

That which is life is not exclusive but inclusive.** This does not mean, that you have to love heavy metal music if you hate it. Hate is also a symbol of that which is life, so the apparent difference between feeling hate or love makes no difference.

Do not be what you appear to do, but the one appearing to do it.

APPENDIX:
Selflessness is not about doing selfless actions. There is no such thing in a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world you need to appear as if you are someone definitive separated from the whole. In other words, you must appear to have a self, that individually determines what to do and think.

It is pretending to be a self, that makes you selfless.

This does not mean though, that you have to believe, it is you. Just like you do not have to believe, that you are the fighter in a video game. You only have to pretend it. And it is pretending to be a self, that makes you selfless.

You are not the fighter, you pretend to be in a video game, even though you do everything necessary to be a winner. Likewise, you are not the self you pretend to be in the world, even though you do whatever is necessary to preserve the self in a world where there seems to be more than one.

So selflessness is not about doing selfless actions, but about not being identified with what it seems to think, feel and do when pretending to be that specific self.
