Pretending to be a person is liberation

There is no petrol stations in the game of Monopoly, so it is quite unrealistic to drive around there. Yet it can be quite fun choosing to pretend to be in a make-believe world, when you know, it is not real.

You are too big to drive a car in Monopoly. Besides that, it has no steering wheel, the wheels cannot move and the car has no petrol or any other things to make it drive. But it does not matter, because it is all make-believe, when you choose to have fun pretending to be driving in a specific coloured car in the world of Monopoly.

You cannot choose* to pretend being that which is real, because it is that which is you. But you can choose to pretend to be that which is not real and appear as one of many in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one** can be compared to looking through a keyhole to that which is real is. Bidding welcome the glimpses of enlightenment cannot be pretended, because it is not of a world where there seems to be more than one. You can compare glimpses of enlightenment to a video call to oneness. The call is from that which is not you to that which is you, and as that cannot be seen, the screen is filled with non definable visions of light.

But that which is real is not just light. In fact it is not light, although it seems like that in the video call. That which is real is one perpetual present without time and dimensions. As it is formless it cannot be described, neither experienced – nor is there room for you as long as you believe to be someone definitive. There is literally nothing in that which is one. Yet that is everything, because what is formless is endless.

In a world where there seems to be more than one you are not everything. You are separated from what you experience to be there, which is an illusion, as there is no more that which is one. In other words, separation is not possible, but it seems possible to pretend that it is.

If you as someone appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one choose to include everything as it is, you also included, what you excluded, namely that you are that which is one – and so having excluded it become a confirmation of it. You can read more about inclusiveness in

So if you pretend to be, that you are not that which is one but a person in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are still that which is one and only appear to be a person in such a world. In other words: Wholly pretending to be that which is not one, namely a person in a world where there seems to be more than one, establish you as that which is one. Partly pretending will not make it, because you cannot partly be that which is one – it formless and cannot be broken or divided.

*) Suggesting to choose is of course an illusion. You are that which is one, and choosing requires more than one  – but in a world where there seems to be more than one it may be a beneficial illusion.
