It makes no sense to chase appearances

It makes no sense chasing appearances, when what you want you get from life and life only.

When you see life as the source of all experiences, they basically become the same, so it makes no difference whether you experience to be alone or not. In fact the need to meet with other others is replaced with the need to have a connection with life. This replacement is deeply relaxing but also filled with sorrow of losing the excitement of chasing selected appearances.

Fortunately life is also the source of feeling loss, so accepting this feeling and life as the source of being able to experience it, you know appearances leads nowhere, and the source of them – that which is life – leads everywhere.

Everywhere cannot be defined, and so following life you cannot be defined. Consequently you are not a person to be defined by time and space. What you appear to be you do not know, neither do you care, because you know it makes no sense chasing appearances.
