Everything that appears as separated is a symbol of non-separation

As a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, there is no answer to who you are in such a world. There is, however, an answer to why you believe to be someone there. You want to be and have more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You may long for oneness and try to implement it in a world where there seems to be more than one. But such a world is a world of separation – otherwise there would not seems to be more than one – so there is no room for oneness.

The experience of such a world is only possible due to oneness, but as it formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is one, so an experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. And as formlessness has no time and space, it is one perpetual present, hence the experience ends the very same moment it begins. The world that you believe to be real is, therefore, nothing but after images of this fantasy.

Trying to implement oneness in a world of separation, you deny your own choice of experiencing to be someone definitive in such a world.

Yet while believing to be someone in a fantasy world, it is best to give it your best shot within the framework of this world. Because if not you are denouncing that which makes it possible to have this fantasy, namely the formlessness of that which is life.

What seems to be experienced in the world, is an illusion made possible to appear as if it is real due to that which is real.

In other words, forgetting all about the formlessness of oneness and instead imagine to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one confirms the formlessness of oneness, as formlessness is endless so only due to that is it possible to have such a fantasy.

Oneness is the cause of experiencing a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet the apparent effect of it is not real. It is make-believe.

Whether what is happening on a computer screen is judged to be good or bad, it is only possible to experience it due to the power of electricity. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Though a world the formlessness of oneness is what empowers the fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one it is not in this world. In other words, it is lifeless, so as long as you believe to be in this fantasy it seems to hide the oneness of life. Grasping this, you know that all your different experiences, although unreal, are symbols of that which is real.

The more everything experienced is perceived as symbols of oneness, the more their apparent differences do not make a difference, so the less there is a basis for your belief in separation. There is, however, one big obstacle for undoing this belief. You consider the oneness to be boring. That is also the main reason, you wanted to escape it and chose to believe in a world where it appears that the excitement of being and having more than one beats the peace of oneness.

That which is one is without time and space, so it lasts no time and take up no space. Yet, as it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that. It is one perpetual present.

As that which is one is endless, there is no more than that which is one. This is why it is nothing but peace, but also why there is no excitement to find since it takes more than one to find something.

A world where there seems to be more than one, however, is based on the idea, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. And no doubt you will seem to find a lot that excites you. But the price is fear because you will always be afraid of losing what you have since nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts.

Besides, there is no more than that which is one, so no matter how much more you appear to be and have it is not real. Somehow you sense something is wrong, but because you want to hold onto the idea and being and having more is possible you let it slide. Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, children like to believe the exciting story of Santa Claus bringing them presents because they are among the good ones, even though they cannot help doubting the whole story.

Yet knowing that Santa Claus is not real, it is quite fun playing along with this fantasy as if it is real. Just like it is fun playing along with the fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one. There is nothing to risk when you know it is not real, which you know the more all the experiences of lifelessness in a world where there seems to be more than one are perceived to be symbols of that which makes them possible, namely life.

How can you appear to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one?
As there is no more than that which is one, there is no answer to that question, so the next articles about virtual reality (Nobody in a game is real – only the player is) and IoT* (A person is to be compared to a machine following preprogrammed movements) are not literal answers to this question. They are rather fairy tales composed to explain the unexplainable.

*) IoT is an abbreviation of Internet of Things.

NOTE: This article is a continuation of the previous one What is life, where does it come from, and what is the meaning? This theme goes on in the next two articles Nobody in a game is real – only the player is and A person is to be compared to a machine following preprogrammed movements, that also are parts of hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life.
