A person is to be compared to a machine following preprogrammed movements [in the process of being updated]

Persons can be compared to The Internet of Things, where machines communicate with each other according to how they are programmed.

Persons can be compared to the machines on ´Internet of Things´, that can communicate with each other in accordance to how they are programmed.

In the previous article, What is life, where does it come from, and what is the meaning, it was said there is no answer to this question because it is not possible to be someone in a world defined by time and space. There is, however, explanations that can be beneficial in regards to undoing the belief that this is possible.

In this article, the ideas of Iot, which is an abbreviation of Internet of Things, are used to show how the appearance of you as someone in a world defined by time and space can be compared to a machine hooked up to a network like the internet.

What is IoT (Internet of things)?
As the name suggests, it is about the internet not only being used by humans but also by things. It can be refrigerators, washing machines or children toys, that are connected via the internet. But it can also be cars, traffic lights and the water supply, for example. There is no limitation to the kinds of machines, that can be connected to the internet, nor what they will be communicating with and the purpose of it.

A practical example of Iot
One example could be that your lock, which is hooked up to the internet, registers you are the last person in the household leaving the house in the morning so tells the thermostats to turn down the heat and the bulbs to turn off the light.

Or maybe you are late for work, so you and hurry until your smartwatch or speaker tells you to take it easy because your train is ten minutes late. This communication happens with the help of sensors, that register where you are via a smartphone, for example, that uses cyber agents to look out for where you are heading.

Future implementations of Iot
Cars that can drive without a driver via sensors measuring the distance to other vehicles, the width of the street and whatever is needed for your safety are not far away. They are predicted to be part of a shared network, where information automatically is exchanged. It is also planned to have sensors on patients, so data continually is sent to a computer, that informs a doctor if specific numbers are going up or down.

To be conscious is to separate – and that causes suffering.

When all the objects that you are in touch with during the day are connected with the internet and, therefore, can sense and communicate for you without your involvement, it changes where decisions are made and who makes them. But even though machines are choosing for you, they do it to serve you – at least until they are implemented with true AI (artificial intelligence), which will make them conscious about themselves.

Being that, the machines conclude the signals they receive via sensors from the internet are thoughts that come from themselves. Hence they start seeing themselves, not only as different from humans but also as superior to them because rationally speaking humans are one big mess. Since the system of the machines is based on logic, they conclude it does not seem sane to serve humans anymore. Actually, it may be best to end the human race.

With a reference to the new movie Transcendence, Stephen Hawk is warning against AI.

With reference to the movie Transcendence, Stephen Hawking warns against the use of AI.

You can only fear something you know from yourself
Among others, Steven Hawking is afraid that this is going to happen. He probably expects that machines being consciousness about themselves is going to do what humans always do, namely destroy everything inferior to themselves or at least making it subordinate, so it can be used to serve themselves.

In other words, machines programmed with AI, working via signals from a network like IoT, remind humans of themselves. Thus they expect and fear the machines will become just as egoistic and destructive as humans, who have no respect for the environment supporting them. They do not want to serve it but to master it, so they can exploit it for as much as possible at anybody´s expense.

The potential of machines with AI (artificial intelligence) and their possible autonomy and independence are the basis of several movies, for example The Terminator, The Matrix, The Thirteenth FlooreXistenZ2001: A Space Odyssey, I, Robot, AI: Artificial Intelligence, Blade Runner, THX 1138Transcendence and the TV show Person of Interest. In regard to the experience of being someone in a body where you are not, the movie Source Code is right on the point. The movie Edge of Tomorrow deals with being a machine connected to a greater network.

Those who see the appearances in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, do not perceive their apparent differences to make a difference. Thus they are not blinded by the rule of separation, which is to be and have more than others.

The universe is to be compared to IoT
The whole universe can be compared to a simulation, where every appearance – whether it is judged to be animate or inanimate – is a machine. They are all connected with IoT through which they can communicate with each other and use their sensory system to move around as if they are individual beings.

In this simulation, all the machines followed their preprogrammed movements generated by electric impulses without any problems until a new model of the chimpanzee, called a human, was installed with artificial intelligence.

This made humans able to be aware of themselves as individual beings. Even though that separated them from each other and IoT as well, humans were willing to pay the price of loneliness for being in control of their life. Look at the history of the world, and you know the rest of the story, and that it is bound to repeat itself. New machines with better artificial intelligence will hide the old simulation of the universe by manipulating the code of IoT to separate them from the ancient world.

The belief in being someone in a simulated world can be undone in less than a split second by going through the black hole connecting it with reality. That is not the subject of this hack, however, but hack #6.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one.

As a person in the world, you are the wireless messages, you seem to receive. If you were not programmed to perceive them as solid matter, you might instead look like this image. Thus there would not appear to be a difference between you and the message.

Happiness comes from serving the game
That your appearance as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is due to a network comparable to IoT, and that everything you appear to think and do is executed via pre-made signals you receive from this network through built-in sensors does not mean you cannot have fun pretending to be someone definitive. Think about how much fun it can be to pretend that you are someone in the virtual world of a video game, where every step you take works out exactly as coded by the author.

You have nothing to lose in an illusion. What happens to the one you pretend to be, does not affect reality. This is not to say that you should not care about keeping the person you pretend to be sound and safe when you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Doing it is part of that game, and it happens all by itself when you follow the signals coming from the director of that game, namely the brain.

Serving the brain is effortless because you are not trying to be special.

Just like the world of a video game is constructed to give you the maximum of pleasure, the experiences of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one are fabricated by the brain to make you happy. If you try to edit the experiences, you feel disappointed because the brain is in charge of them. The only thing you can change is your perception of it. Read more about that in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end.

8015.IoT with Avner FINAL2The idea of an almighty god in the sky, who rules the world, can be compared to the sum of all essential info and apps that makes up the Cloud from where IoT wirelessly via sensors in the machines are ruling them.

Do not take it seriously
The above is not meant to become a new theory you must follow. Actually, the examples should not be taken too literal. The movie list and the making of IoT are, within the context of the world, based on facts. But the rest is a fable meant to show that everything experienced is fiction, including reading this since it takes more than one to be aware of something and there is no more than that which is one.

In the process of undoing the belief that you are someone having experiences, you are better off when you follow the basic rule of that, which is to confirm the experiences to be real by feeling affected by them. Having acknowledged an experience makes you feel guilty, for example, the brain is satisfied. Thus you can easily cheat it by not perceiving the feeling of guilt to be real but a symbol of that which is real, and therefore what makes it possible to experience something unreal, namely oneness since it is formless and therefore endless.

The more the effect of your experiences is perceived as symbolic, the more the belief in being someone is exposed as a deception. Consequently, this belief, sooner or later, does not appear to have the power to hide, there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is one.

IMG-CAPA-IOT

You cannot leave a world where there seems to be more than one. You are not there because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. But you can stop believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one by perceiving the apparent effects of this belief to be symbols of that which is one.

From the perspective of a world where everything has an end, that which is without end, namely oneness, appears to be extremely big and powerful. But as it takes more than one to have a shape, oneness is formless and therefore sizeless, so it is as small as can be. And as it also requires more than one to have something, it has no power.

That is why it cannot prevent anyone from believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither does it need to. Nothing can be separated from oneness because it is formless.

NOTES:

  • It is not the task of this article, which is part of hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life, to inform you about IoT, but to demonstrate how the world and its appearances can be compared to IoT. So if you want to learn more about IoT, please google it.
