Eyes do not see, they translate

The earth is not flat and the sun does not go down even though it is experienced like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The earth is not round and the sky is not full of stars, even though this is what we believe to see. And that is exactly what it is, namely something we believe. Our eyes do not see a world defined by time and space. They just register reflections of light. What we believe to see is a construction of thoughts based on how we are conditioned to interpret the reflection of light. The graphic is grabbed from the Ello.

Once Alexius appeared to be a taxi driver, a monk, a businessman, a designer and a curator. These days he appears to be a photographer but probably mostly a writer of his enlightened non teachings. Yet there is no intention to sell you spiritual courses or books about the truth, how to become better or make the world a more lovingly place.

Also he has no ´I´ here with a need for anyone to follow his non teachings, as their purpose is to facilitate the undoing of the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. Besides that, he is not only the non teacher but also a non student, and as there is no more than that which is one, one is enough to undo the belief that there is more than that which is one.

Without translation there is nothing to see
Even though all his photos are made through his system, they appear to be different images with each their own story. Basically speaking, however, they are not different at all, as they are digitally produced and consequently consists only of zeros and ones. Not before an app has translated a specific mix of zeros and ones into an image, that can be understood as something reminiscent of the world as we know it, will this special mix of zeros and ones appear to be different from another mix.

The perception of images as different from each other will seem to hide that the building stones of each image are the exact same zeros and ones – and the other way around, if the zeros and ones are not translated into different images, there is absolutely nothing to see, because the building stones cannot be perceived.

Eyes do not see, they translate
In the world we see many different appearances but not the raw data of life, which is the same building stones for all appearances, whether they appear to be black or white, animate or inanimate and whatnot. In other words, how the world appears to you is based on your translation of the raw data of life. Let´s elaborate further on this by continue the photography metaphor:

A digital camera does not make a picture on a film like analog cameras do. It makes no picture at all. It just records data – called RAW – that in no way can be perceived as an image of something in the world. The raw data needs to be translated into for example a JPEG file, before a person can perceive the data as an image, that is reminiscent of the world.

»Your eye is like a camera … Photons pass through your lens, which focuses them onto a spot at the back of your retina. There, specialised photoreceptive structures called rods and cones convert these photons into electromagnetic impulses that your brain interprets as shapes, colours, and textures.« From an article in Wired.

The world, that you think you see, is a construction of thoughts
The human eyes can be compared to a digital camera in the way that nowhere in the head is the light recorded by the eyes processed into an image like on a film in an analog camera. The data or frequencies of light coming through the eyes can only be seen as an image reminiscent of the world, if you yourself construct such an image out of the data collected by the eyes, that each one have three taps recording red, green and blue frequencies.

If the data coming through the eyes is not translated, a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be experienced. There is nothing to see, because ´raw data´ cannot be perceived. Also there will be no one to perceive anything, because only appearances can perceive something and there are no appearances.

Facebook can now automatically write captions on images, that can be read by blind people, so their brain can use this info to construct an image inside of them as if they actually see the image on Facebook. The graphic is grabbed from an article in Wired.

All what you think that you ´see´ is a mix of these three frequencies translated into different appearances that seem to be to outside of you. This translation is done in the brain based on how you in the past have programmed or conditioned yourself to perceive a world, where there seems to be more than one. In other words, you do not see the world, you think it. Experiencing to live in the now, coming from the heart and whatnot is nothing but a construction of thoughts.

It can be compared to how Facebook now is using artificial intelligence to automatically generate captions on photos in the News Feed, that can be read by blind people, so that they can get an idea about what is in it, and based on that fabricate an image inside of themselves, as if they actually see the photo in the News Feed – for example a pizza as in the image from Facebook grabbed from an article in Wired about this.

The blind one will not know though, that the new system in Facebook does not always get it right. And in regards to ´seeing´ a world, where there seems to be more than one, hardly anybody know their system never gets it right, as there is no more than that which is one.

The computer translates zeros and ones into something, that seems to reach your eyes as frequencies from the screen you are looking at. These frequencies the brain translates into something, so it looks the way you have decided the world to appear. In other words, what you think, you are see right now is nothing but an imagination. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The truth is …
… that you cannot see what is written in this article, that you think you are reading in this very moment on your screen. Everything on a screen of an electronic media is made of zeros and ones in meaningless combinations to the human mind. However the electronic device, you are using, has a system, that translates these otherwise meaningless combinations, so that wavelengths of light will reach your eyes from the screen in ways your brain is able to translate into images of the world.

You are translating the raw data coming into your eyes according to your preferences – most probably assuming that the way you translate the raw data is the right way, and that there is a way to judge what is right or not. It is all imaginative.

In the case of this article, you try to translate it, so it reminds you of the world in the way, you have decided it to be – most probably assuming that this is the right way – and if the article seems to differ from that, you twist the translation. In other words, the article, that you think you read, is not the article I have written, because what you think you read on the screen is a translation made in your brain as a layer on top of the translation the system of the electronic device has made.

Beyond translation
The brain does not differentiate between imagination and what is called reality. It is the very same organ in the brain that is dealing with both imaginary and so-called real experiences. To the brain it is all the same, so trying to figure out what is what is not possible.

You are bound to get lost in translation – and probably so lost, that you may believe some part of it to be true. But only that which is not translated into appearances is real – namely the ´raw data´. As long as you believe, that what you know is the truth, ´the raw data´, that the appearances of your belief is translated from, will seem hidden to you.

Oneness cannot be found in a world, where there seems to be more than one. Such a world is make-believe and that which is one is not a belief.

When you are willing to make a translation like ´I do not know what I and where I am´ you are wiping the slate clean, and so there is not someone to translate the ´raw data´ into appearances – and so what cannot be translated and therefore not experienced, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, is bid welcome.

Self-driving cars do not see the world as humans do but like this. The graphic is grabbed from Wired.

What a human actually sees can be compared to what a self-driving car sees, namely nothing. The world it seems to see is a construction of the info it receives from its senses, that is put together based on how it is programmed to combine this info.

Although self-driving cars do not know, that the objects called humans consider themselves to be the crown of creation, they are programmed to prioritize them and so they do.

But through deep learning artificial intelligence they will sooner or later develop a language of their own and start to believe ´I think, therefore I am´. Next they will conclude, they have a consciousness and exist as someone definitive in a real world, and that they know what is best for it – just like humans believe that they are somebody special, who are in control of a world encapsulated by time and space – and it is probably not to prioritize humans but themselves.

Enlightenment of that which is one*
You cannot learn what the enlightenment of that which is one is, neither can you learn what it is not. All learning is founded on translating that which is one into what it is not, namely a world, where there seems to be more than one. Believing this translation to be your reality, the enlightenment of which is one appears to be hidden.

It makes no difference, if the translation you believe to be real is about love, unity, astral worlds or other spiritual ideas, because any belief requires more than one and there is no room for more than one in the enlightenment of that which is one.

Everything we have translated, as if it is life, is wrong, especially that I am someone definitive. This belief must be undone so there is nobody to perceive a world, where there seems to be more than one. In other words, neither Alexius or anybody else have been in the enlightenment of that which is one, so when Alexius says it is nothing but bright white light, it is vague memories from when he momentarily stepped aside, so there was not someone to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

This above and other references in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings about dying in order to come back to that which is one is in no way a suggestion to commit suicide. What has to die is the belief in being someone specific in a world, where there seems to be more than one – and to undo that belief you certainly have to appear to be living there.

It takes more than one to have a glimpse of something. Consequently a glimpse of enlightenment is not the enlightenment of that which is one, but a translation of it. And as it takes nobody not not translate the enlightenment of that which is one, it cannot be bid welcome as long as you believe to be somebody in a world, where there seems to be more than one. Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one*
The enlightenment of that which is one does not come to you from inside or outside, as it has no end and therefore no sides. It does not come to you at all. It is the formlessness of that which is you. Yet believing to be someone definable seems to hide it, because you expect to see something and it takes more than one to see something.

You can compare glimpses of enlightenment to a movie trailer. You get a glimpse of the movie, but it is not the movie.

In other words, having visions of light full of love and what not it is not the enlightenment of that which is one. Anything describable, perceivable, definable or explainable is not the ´raw data´ of that which is one, but a translation of it layered on top of that which is one, so that it appears to be hidden by a world, where there seems to be more than one.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings undo all translations
Ultimately speaking no translation is better than another one in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet some translations may be more beneficial in regards to having undone the belief in the translation of that which is one into a world where there seems to be more than one –  just like a specific shoe size seems better than another – so if Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings seems to be your size of shoe, walk in them until there is no translations left to hide there is no more than one size.

NOTE: The above about eyes applies to all senses. Any experience is a deception fabricated by the brain – also if it seems to come from the heart, the astral world and whatnot. So the less you experience – or do not believe that it is real – the less there is to hide the reality of that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of that which is one.
