+ What you believe to be and see is a construction of thoughts

What you believe to see is a construction of thoughts done by the brain based on the signals it claims to receive from your eyes. But since it cannot simultaneously process all of them, it sorts them into categories and only presents you with those, that makes you see the world in a way that makes you happy.

If you experience to see something horrible in a dream, you did not really see it. You just thought so. Likewise, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is a construction of thoughts.

It is, however, not only what you believe to see, that is a construction of thoughts – also what you seem to hear, feel and taste. Plus the self you are aware of and the consciousness the brain has built into it, so the experiences fabricated by the brain of a tangible world become conscious experiences of the self, that seems to confirm it to be a substantial being in a world appearing to be outside of it. Read more about that here.

But if the consciousness starts to think, that it can make this world better by being on its own, it begins to correct the flow of thoughts coming from the brain and compile them into another story than that of the brain, so it no longer just seems to be a basic self constructed by the brain but a special self conceived by itself.*

Feelings are thoughts that are made tangible by holding back the breath and/or tighten parts of the body. In a state of not-knowing nothing is felt but the bliss of emptiness. You do not get there, however, by being detached from feelings but by being them. See hack #4.5 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

But as feelings are thoughts made tangible, and the special self* rejects the thoughts as they come from the brain, it does not get the happiness these thoughts bring about. Instead, it tries to be happy by doing what is right according to the concepts of capitalism, socialism, spiritualism or another ism, that splits the world in right and wrong.

If you are into Buddhism, you may see similarities between that and Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, and in order to uphold this comparison, you exclude what does not fit into this interpretation. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

So if you are a special self* following the standard concepts of spiritualism, you probably assume that happiness will come when you bypass the brain via meditation, coming from the heart or living in the now, for example. Consequently, you exclude everything from the brains presentation of this article that contradicts those concepts so you can experience its message to be similar to that of Echart Tolle, who seems to believe that happiness comes from the stillness of living in the now.

It takes time for the brain to sort and translate all incoming info coming through the eyes in a specific moment. It must therefore extrapolate the time delay in processing, so it will not interfere with what you perceive to be happening now.

You can read more about that in the articles You want to be deceived, and so you are and Duality is a simulated reality on top of non-duality.

This article though is not about living in the now but the illusion of it. What you believe to see now, you saw in the past, because the brain has used one second to process the signals, it received from your eyes one second ago into what you experience to see now. Read more about that here.

In other words, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings have nothing to do with living in the now, which like every other spiritual idea is a speculative concept carried out by the special self,* so that it appears to be independent – in this case of the past and the future.

No worries. The special self* is not real, so you do not have to change anything but the belief that it is, which is automatically done if you do nothing. Not in the sense that you are detached but that you do not stop the feelings of confusion, that comes from the belief in being independent, to take their own course, as that set them free to ignite a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of not knowing what and where you are. Everything on the screen of an electronic media is made up of squares, that all consists of zeros and ones. If there seems to be somebody that is not made of squares, it is because the squares have been made so small, that you do not notice the soft form you seem to see is an illusion. Facebook and Google –  among others – offer to organise your digital photos with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), that is programmed to see who is in your pictures and sort them accordingly. Even though the images are flat and on an electronic media made up by nothing but zeros and ones, the artificial intelligence perceives them to be dimensional. The more it ´sees´, the more it learns to interpret a particular facial expression as a specific emotion so that it feels what it ´sees´ and therefore relates to the persons in the photos as if it is a person itself.

You see nothing but think it is something

But it does not exist as somebody, so nobody perceives anything. It is just layer upon layer of algorithms, that collect data and put them together in the same way as the human brain compiles thoughts to make them manifest a tangible world in empty space.

When a smartphone recognises your face it does not mean that it sees you, but in the case of Apple that it registers the electrical impulses from a grid of 30,000 invisible dots which has been projected onto your face to create a 3-D map of your facial topography. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Whether you seem to see something in a movie or what appears to be a world outside of you, it is an experience fabricated by the brain. So if someone is seen as sad, it is not because there is someone there, but because this is how a certain wavelength is interpreted by the brain.

In other words, the experience of a world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts made by nobody from out of nothing – or as science states, the world consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space and the rest, that we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world, is also empty space.

»The app helps people who are blind or losing their sight ´feel´ smiles. The app uses facial recognition to find a face and then vibrates in the user’s hand to let them know that the person they’re talking with is smiling.« From an article in Wired.

The person you believe to be is blind, deaf and numb. What you experience to see, hear and feel, regardless it appears to be spiritual or mundane, is nothing but electrical impulses, which do not mean anything before they have been translated by the brain, for example into thoughts about a smile.

It can be compared to an app in a wearable device, that uses facial recognition to find a face and vibrates when it smiles, so that the blind ones can ´see´ the face is smiling.

Gurus, for example, like to insist, that this construction of thoughts is made by a higher consciousness, so even though they are nothing, there is something real to find. But they are wrong. Reality is that which is one, and it takes more than one to find something, so only that which is not real can be found.

Seeing a world where there seems to be more than one is like experiencing the world to be spinning when having vertigo. It is not something your eyes sees but something the brain makes up. In other words, feeling loved or rejected, for example, is the same in the sense that those feelings are not caused by anything but electrical impulses in your head. This applies to all experiences, also so-called divine or spiritual ones. See also All experiences are equally unreal.

You can also compare the experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one to use a flight simulator. You are not flying at all. It is an illusion.
