Oneness is pointless [draft]

You cannot point to that which is one since doing so requires more than one, but you can point to that which is not one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you experience something, you are hallucinating because reality is that which is one, and it takes more than one to experience something. As it also takes more than one to point out something  Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not point to that which is real, but to that which is unreal, namely any experience of something, regardless it seems material, immaterial or spiritual.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you believe to be is the brain, because all your experiences are created and stored there. Also, if they are perceived to come from the heart or to be spiritual (read more about that here).

As it always takes one second for the brain to fabricate an experience, including to be authentic, at peace, or in the now, what you believe to be aware of right now is an image of the past, that according to the brain is built from the frequencies it received from your sensory system one second ago.

Though you only have the brains word for that, you choose to believe it is a fact because if not all your experiences are exposed as fantasies constructed by the brain from out of nothing (read more about that here). For those who question the brains assertion about the origin of experiences, it makes up another story, namely that your experiences are based on info coming from the chakras.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Life never gives second chances, because it takes more than one to give something and it is that which is one. Besides that which is you does not need anything. It has everything because there is no more than that which is life since it is formless and therefore endless.

For the same reason, only oneness can be the source of the belief in separation. Thus being true to this belief, you confirm what it denies. Consequently, the belief in separation is a positive confirmation of oneness.

Oneness is one perpetual present, which has nothing to do with being in the now, as it requires more than one to be somewhere. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

No-one is what they appear to be. Not in the sense that their real self is hidden underneath their appearance, but in a sense that any appearance – whether spiritual or mundane – is unreal because it requires more than one to appear as something, and there is no more than that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As oneness is formless, it is sizeless. Thus there is not something to point to.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Let us say you live in a cold clime but would like it to move to one of those you have seen in movies where people wear slippers and shorts all year long. Replicating that, however, will not make you warmer. Nor will drinking a fancy cocktail with a little umbrella, singing songs in a foreign language, or changing your name to something more exotic. It will make you look special, but in no way make you warmer. On the contrary.

This is a metaphor to illustrate that chanting, hugging, dressing in special clothes, getting a new name, thinking positive, and whatnot does not transform you into something better or higher. Actually, there is not something better to be because there is no more than that which is one, and it takes more than one to be better.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot know that which is one when you experience to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus looking forward to oneness is madness. You can, however, look forward to not believing you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Doing that, the hope for more vanishes and thus the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

All experiences, regardless they are perceived to be direct, spiritual or whatnot, come from the brain, where they are fabricated to make the biological system reacts upon them as if it is a self inside a body that is having them so that it seems to be a substantial being in a tangible world.

The brain counts on the self it has created to make this conclusion because if not, it is evident that nor the self or the world it seems to experience is real. In other words, because the self wants to survive as someone substantial, it chooses to perceive the experiences produced by the brain as tangible.

Whether this perception relates to the experiences produced by the brain in a positive or negative way does not matter. As long as it relates to the experiences as they are and not as the self would like them to be, the experience of being a someone in the world of the brain feels good. It does not feel good, however, if not relating to the experiences as they are, but to an idea of something better, for example a socialistic or a capitalistic world.

Nevertheless, no matter if your perception is in sync with the world of the brain or not, the result is an internal dialogue. In the case of the basic self, there is an inner conversation with someone from the world of the brain, whereas the special self has internal conversations with those it perceives to be like-minded and just like itself wants to change the world into something better (read more about that here). Both kinds of conversations seem to confirm there is more than one and that oneness, therefore, is an illusion.

Nobody, in particular, is making a dream you seem to have, and nor you or anybody else is in it. Likewise, appearing to be a substantial being in a tangible world is a fantasy made by nobody.

But it is the other way around. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than that which is one. Consequently, this article is an illusion, including the explanation that your appearance as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is made by the brain. It is not caused by anyone as that requires more than one. In other words, you are not someone in a world where there seems to be more than one or anywhere else because you are not someone at all.

However, appearing to be someone in a world that is not there, it is beneficial to go along with the illusion as it is and not trying to change it. Besides, it is much more straightforward to have the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one undone, when not trying to change anything because that takes more than one there is no more than that which is one.

There is no deeper meaning to be found in a game. It is solely about entertainment, and so are the thoughts you get from the brain. Should that not be your experience, you have made a perception of them that seems to have changed them. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thoughts have no more meaning than the messages on the cards you draw in a game like Monopoly. Still, you have to follow them if you want to play the game. There is nothing you can do about that. But you can choose how to perceive it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self is not more spiritual than the special self. Neither is it better because everything that is experienced to be something in a world where there seems to be more than one is made of nothing. Experiencing nothing as something, however, can be quite fun when following the rules of the brain. Just like it is fun playing Monopoly when following its laws because they are designed to make you feel entertained.

You are of course free to leave the game and look for a better world or to be detached from it by remaining in the middle, so everything is just passing. But then you miss the thrill, the game is made to give you. In other words, following the rules of the brain is what makes you enjoy the game of being someone substantial in a tangible world.

Please do not piece the above together so that your experiences become meaningful. They are not explainable because it takes more than one to experience something, and there is no more than that which is one.

The explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, therefore, are only be seen as a way to talk the language of the world where we appear to be. You could say that they are pointers. But not to that which is one, though, as that requires more than one, but to the mistaken belief that there is more than that which is one.

Consequently, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not meant to be learned and remembered. On the contrary. They are intended to be read in the same way as you read an exit sign in an entertainment park. When you are out, the sign is forgotten.

It is not necessary to be the basic self to have the belief in being someone definitive undone. But since it is in sync with the flow of thoughts as they come from the brain, it is relative to that and thus not occupied with being someone definitive. Hence it is easy to go along with a flow that undoes itself – or rather the belief that it is somebody at all. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Science says that what we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and like a dream without anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world. See also the articles Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ and Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

To prevent the acknowledgement of this discovery from undoing the belief in being someone definitive, the special self chooses to perceive the empty space, from which the illusion of itself is fabricated, like a big void that is full of something mysterious and powerful, cosmic consciousness or whatever it imagines will establish it has been made of something special to carry out an important assignment.

Alexius does not know, if he was a basic or special self, when he for the first time, about 50 years ago, bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because he forgot to remember what and where he was (read more about that here).

The basic self, on the other hand, does not perceive the empty space from where it is conceived to be someone definitive to contain anything. It enjoys being a fantasy figure of the brain. It is as entertaining as when it pretends to be an action figure in the virtual world of a computer game.

If seeing or feeling something is not perceived to confirm you as someone definitive having specific experiences, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. Read about that in hack #6-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to a dream in the sense that it does not happen in the world where you believe to be someone. And like a dream, it has no effect on that. Yet the enlightenment of that which is one is not a dream, nor anything else since it takes more than one to be something. This is also the reason, that unlike a dream, it cannot be experienced. Only that which is one can be experienced but since that which is one is formless and therefore endless there is no more than that which is one. In other words, all experiences are fake.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Everybody, whether the basic or special self, consist of light and darkness. The difference, though, is that the basic self has no need to deny its dark side, because it perceives good as well as evil as it is what it is, so they are experienced to be equally entertaining.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Feeling sick, or something else perceived to be uncomfortable may seem to make you desperate or depressed. However, it is not caused by the feelings perceived to be uncomfortable, but because they are perceived like that and thus have a go at escaping them. But if what you feel is perceived to be it is what it is, the feeling does not seem to make you desperate or depressed but relaxed.

Hence, in the case of feeling sick, you may be inspired to lay down and have fun watching a movie. If there is a feeling of sadness, for example, and you do not try to suppress it, there is also a feeling of happiness because in a world of duality everything comes in pairs. In other words, when perceiving a feeling as it is what it is, you also get its roommate and thus feeling fulfilled to be happy/sad.

In other words, darkness does not make you wrong. On the contrary, it completes duality in you. When the experience of darkness is not held back, it can be perceived as it is what it is, and together with its companion, light, make you whole in duality. Since you, therefore, do not miss anything, nothing prevents you from having the belief that you are someone in a world duality undone. Read more about that in hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss

NOTE: This article is part of hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one, which is still in the process of being written.
