+ Oneness is pointless [draft]

You cannot point to that which is one since doing so requires more than one, but you can point to that which is not one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you experience something, you are hallucinating. Reality cannot be experienced. It is that which is one, and it takes more than one to experience something. As it also takes more than one to point to something  Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not point to that which is real but that which is not, namely a world where there seems to be more than one.

As oneness is formless, it is sizeless, so there is nothing to point to.

The purpose is to expose that since the experience of being in such a world has a beginning and an end, it is an illusion since reality has no beginning or end. Thus mundane as well as spiritual experiences are nothing. Perceived like that, there does appear to be something hiding, there never was or will be more than that which is one because it is formless and therefore endless.

What you believe to be is the brain, because all your experiences are created and stored there. Also, if they are experienced to come from the heart (read more about that here).

As it always takes one second for the brain to fabricate an experience, including to be authentic, at peace, or in the now, what you believe to be aware of now is an image of the past (read more about that here), that according to the brain is built from the frequencies it received from your sensory system one second ago.

Though you, in many cases, doubt the info you get from the brain, and though you only have this info from it, you choose to take it as a fact that the experience of what and where you appear to be is founded on info coming from your sensory system as if not all your experiences, including that of you being a physical or spiritual being, are exposed as fantasies constructed by the brain from out of nothing (read more about that here).

When what you have is perceived to be enough, it cannot be compared to what you could have in the future. And as there is no past without a future, and as you do not appear to have something in the future, you had nothing in the past. And as what you are aware of having now is an experience created from the past (see the above note), the same applies to what you appear to have now. In other words, when you perceive what you have to be enough, there is not something to hide, there is nothing but that which is one. And since it is formless and therefore endless, you have everything.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Life never gives second chances, because it takes more than one to give something and it is that which is one. Besides that which is you does not need anything. It has everything because there is no more than that, which is life because it is formless and therefore endless.

Oneness is one perpetual present, which has nothing to do with being in the now, as it requires more than one to be somewhere. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since there is no more than that which is one, only oneness can be the source of the belief in separation. Thus being true to this belief, you confirm what it denies. Consequently, the belief in separation is a positive confirmation of oneness.

No-one is what they appear to be. Not in the sense that their real self is hidden underneath the appearance, but in the sense that no appearance is real since the presence of something – whether spiritual or mundane – requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

Let us say you live in a cold clime but would like it to would be warmer. You have seen pictures and movies in which people from more temperate countries wear slippers and shorts all year long. Doing the same, however, will not make you warm. Nor will drinking a fancy cocktail with a little umbrella, singing songs in a foreign language, or changing your name to something more exotic. Replicating the ways of a warm clime will make you look very special where you live but definitely not warmer.

This is just a metaphor to illustrate that chanting, hugging, dressing in special clothes, getting a new name, thinking positive, and whatnot does not transform you into something better. In fact, there is not something better to be because there is no more than that, which is one.

Being on your own makes you feel small, which the special self expects to fix by getting the power it imagines come from riches, going deeper or find something higher, for example.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The more the special self can teach others to see and feel its visions of a better world, the more powerful it appears to be, and the less it doubts itself.

All experiences, regardless they are considered to be direct, spiritual and whatnot, come from the brain, where they are fabricated to make the biological system reacts upon them as if it is a self inside a body that is having them and, therefore, appears to be substantial being in a tangible world.

The brain counts on the self it has created to make this conclusion because if not, it is evident that nor the self or the world it seems to experience is real. In other words, because the self-wants to survive as someone substantial, it chooses to perceive the experiences produced by the brain as tangible.

Whether this perception relates to the experiences produced by the brain positively or negatively does not matter. As long as it relates to the experiences as they are and not as the self would like them to be, the experience of being a someone in the world of the brain feels good. It does not feel good, though, if not relating to the experiences as they are, but to something imagined as better, for example a socialistic or a capitalistic world.

Nevertheless, no matter if your perception is in sync with the world of the brain or not, the result is an internal dialogue. In the case of the basic self, it has an inner conversation with someone from the world of the brain, whereas the special self is talking inside its head with someone from its perception of a better world (read more about that here). Both ways seem to confirm there is more than one and that oneness, therefore, is an illusion.

Nobody, in particular, is making a dream you seem to be having, and nor you or anybody else is in it. Likewise, appearing to be a substantial being in a tangible world is a fantasy made by nobody.

But it is the other way around. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than that which is one. Consequently, this article is an illusion and thus also the explanation that your appearance as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is made by the brain. It is not caused by anyone as that requires more than one. In other words, such a world is not there.

However, appearing to be somebody in a world that is not there, it feels better to go along with the illusion as it is than trying to change it. Besides, it is so much easier to undo the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, when not trying to change anything in it because there is no more than that which is one.

There is no deeper meaning to be found in a game. It is solely about being entertained, and so are the thoughts you get from the brain. Should that not be your experience, you have made a perception that seems to have altered them. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thoughts have no more meaning than the messages on the cards you draw in a game like Monopoly. Still, you have to follow them if you want to play the game. There is nothing you can do about that. But you can choose how to perceive them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self is not more spiritual than the special self. Neither is it better because everything that is experienced to be something in a world where there seems to be more than one is made of nothing. Experiencing nothing as something, however, is quite fun if you follow the rules of the brain. Just like it is fun playing Monopoly when playing by its rules because they are designed to entertain you.

You are of course free to leave the game and search for other worlds, but Monopoly has no other worlds than the one already made for you to enjoy. And if you choose to be detached from it by staying in the middle, so everything just passes by, you miss the thrill of it.

In other words, following the rules of the brain is the only thing that makes sense, when playing the game of being someone substantial in a tangible world. Especially, like all other games, the end is built into it, so you bound to return to that which is you when you follow the rules.

Please do not piece the above together so that your experiences become meaningful. There is no meaning in them. And it cannot be explained how come we appear to have them because it takes more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one.

The explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings should, therefore, only be seen as a way to talk the language of the world where you believe to be. You could say that they are pointers. Not to that which is one, though, as that requires more than one, but to the mistaken belief that there is more than that which is one.

Consequently, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not meant to be learned. On the contrary. They are intended to be read in the same way that you read an exit sign in an entertainment park, for example. You forget the sign when you have gotten the way out.

You do not have to be the basic self to have the belief in being someone definitive undone. But since it is in sync with the flow of thoughts as they come from the brain, it is relative to that and not as the special self not occupied with being someone definitive. Thus it is not difficult to go along with a flow that undoes itself – or rather the belief that it is somebody at all. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One cannot stop neither the basic or the special self from believing that they are somebody definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. It is their choice to believe it, so they must take another one themselves. But one can expose, that what they see as something is nothing.

In fact, science says that what we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and just like a dream does not contain anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world. See also the articles Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ and Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

To prevent the acknowledgement of this from undoing its belief in being someone definitive, the special self chooses to perceive the empty space, from which the illusion of itself is fabricated, like a big void full of pure love, cosmic consciousness or whatever it imagines will prove it is made from something special to carry out something important.

Alexius does not know, if he was a basic or special self, when he for the first time about 50 years ago bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because he forgot to remember what and where he was (read more about that here).

The basic self, on the other hand, does not relate to the empty space it is supposed to be made of but to the nothingness of the thoughts coming from the brain. Thus it does not perceive itself as somebody, but nobody and thus in a position, where it is not a problem to acknowledge, the brains rendering of it as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is deception. This is, within the context of this illusion, comparable to acknowledging that what and where you appear to be in a game is not real, nor the game.

The brain, however, does not actually support this acknowledgement, because that is the end of itself and everything it has rendered from out of nothing to make it look like it is something. But since it is hard work to uphold the illusion of a tangible world, it does not mind if you stop supporting the belief, that there is something in nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When there is nothing, that appears to be something, there is not something to be excited about. Hence there is no expectation to prevent the enlightenment of that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The basic self has not something to look forward to. Not because it is living in the now, but because its perception is in sync with the script of the brain, which contains everything that can be experienced. Hence the basic self is in the past as well as the future and everywhere else but the formlessness of oneness since it cannot be experienced.

Being everywhere but in that which is one, the basic self is nowhere and therefore, as close as possible to where it cannot be. All that is needed to cross the apparent barrier is to not choose anything because only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there seem to be something to want.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If seeing or feeling something is not perceived to confirm you as someone definitive having specific experiences, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot know that which is one when you experience to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus looking forward to oneness is madness. You can, however, look forward to not believing, that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The more you do so, the hope for more vanishes so the less there is somebody to believe it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In regards to bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, it does not matter if you seem to be authentic or fake, spiritual or mundane, basic or special, man or woman, stupid or bright, blissful or miserable, positive or negative, vegetarian or whatnot. As long as there is no identification with your appearance, it is all the same. To spell it out, when you have absolutely no idea about what and where you are, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

That is not an experience, nor is it a realisation. Oneness can neither be experienced or realised since that calls for more than one. Consequently, there is no way to know what you get by bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. In fact, what you believe to be is not getting anything. On the contrary, it is abruptly terminated, sthere is nothing left to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

This most likely seems scary when you believe to be someone definitive, which you do – otherwise, you could not read this article. No worries, all other duality hacks than the enlightenment of that which is one have a more gentle approach to undoing the belief that you exist because you experience that. The undoing of that belief is done over time and in the process, the foolish belief amuses you.

The empty breath, which you can read about in hack #4.5 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone is all about that. Should you prefer to skip reading about it and go straight to learning to connect with it, check instead hack #4.4 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

The enlightenment of that which is one you can read about in hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one, which is still in the process of being written.
