(√) The basic self cannot be changed but it can be perceived as special [draft] flyttet fra 4.3 til 4.1

PART 1:
When you do not suppress feelings by holding back the breath or try to alter it with yoga exercises or something else that stops natural rhythm, you are effortlessly in sync with the flow of thoughts as they come from the brain. And since very few thoughts are needed to uphold the construction of you as a basic self, the flow of thoughts does not seem to be disturbing but entertaining.

That is until the consciousness, installed by the brain in the basic self it has made, thinks it knows better than its maker and plots against it to become independent. However, changing the basic self into a special one requires a more complicated construction of thoughts than the simple one accumulated by the brain to make the basic self in which the consciousness resides.

To achieve this, the rogue consciousness* perceives an experience in a way which is so frightening that you hold back the breath long enough for the thoughts flowing along with it to be imprisoned in this gap from where they force their way out by multiplying themselves.

In reality, nothing is missing because reality is that which is one, and it takes more than one for something to be lost.

When the thoughts have escaped the gap, they continue their frantic movement. That makes the special self feels more energetic than the basic one but also less relaxed. However, the rogue consciousness* does not want to slow down the restless stream of thoughts to find the rest that comes from being in sync with the basic self because that would stop them from multiplying. Hence there is not enough thoughts to make up a plausible story of why it is more exciting to be a master of itself than a servant of the brain.

You cannot make the world better, but you can make your perception of it better, so it is in sync with the experience that the brain renders to make you feel entertained. This is automatically done by the brain when there is no interference from you. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To make this story, the special self organises the hectic thoughts into pairs. But not the nonjudgmental pairs of duality where the opposing elements support each other. The first pair, the special self constructs, is in charge of all the following combinations. It consists of a judge, who determines what thoughts are good and bad, and an executioner, who excludes the thoughts its partner has sentenced to be bad so that the rest, namely those thoughts judged as good, can be compiled into a construction that showcases the special self as a better being better than the basic self the brain supports.

Read more about this hateful twosome of the special self in the paragraph The world is a construction of fragmented thoughts in Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

This image of a self that perceives itself as better than others and independent of the brain, the rogue consciousness* keeps together by projecting the excluded thoughts onto obscure parts of the body. Hence it feels as if the suppressed energy of them messes up the natural flow of the breath and thus the stream of thoughts used to keep the body healthy. However, the special self is willing to pay this price because the disruption of the breath results in more thoughts. And it believes they will make it more clever than the brain, so it can keep the body healthy itself.

As you can see, to be special and independent requires much work. And since it is not rewarded with a sound body but one with psychosomatic disorders, the special self feels quite confused, contrary to the basic one who is happily tuned into the brain´s script.

But this does not necessarily mean that the basic self has a perfect body, but that if it gets sick, it is caused not caused by a psychological problem but a physical one. And the body knows how to corporate with the brain to deal with that. But it may be that the script for the body has been stitch together so that parts of it do not function so well, wherefore it is not possible to completely restore the body.

There is no need to change yourself into something special. You are good enough as you are. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But as the happiness of the basic self does not depend on appearance, this makes no difference. On the contrary, it may even be helpful. The poor condition of Alexius´ body, for example, makes it easy for him to take it easy physically and in an effortlessly way, use his energy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

Please be aware, it is not possible to change the basic self into a special one. But it is possible to change the perception of the basic self so that it seems to become a special self. Since this is self-deception, the perception of change is out of sync with the script of the brain. That is why so much confusion arises from considering oneself to be unique.

Fortunately, if not edited, the unbounded energy of confusion ignites a take-off to the empty breath.* It makes you indifferent to the exciting experiences that seem to come from perceiving yourself to be special.

It is relaxing and energising, not to control your appearance but go with the flow like it comes from the brain – as you go with the flow of the waves when swimming. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
The image you have made of yourself as a good person has been established as authentic by excluding everything you judge as bad from yourself. Nevertheless, nothing has been removed from you except the awareness of it. This most likely has been accomplished by projecting the excluded onto your body. However, the imagined deposit of negative thoughts and feelings in obscure parts of the body makes you believe it has been blocked. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection.

But you are not meant to make a perception of the thoughts coming from the brain, so they seem to be in alignment with your ideas of spirituality, socialism or any other belief system. You are meant to perceive them as they are, which you do when you feel entertained because that is their purpose. Read more about that in hack #4.2 Being a self or no-self.

Although it feels comforting to be in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain, it is not needed for having the belief in being someone definitive undone. All that is required for that is to not pay attention to your perception of the thoughts coming from the brain – just like the events in a game or a dream are exposed as make-believe when your interpretation of them is not taken seriously.

In other words, to have the belief in being someone undone, there is no need to change anything but the choice to believe you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. And it is automatically adjusted when you do not interpret your experience of it as real but symbols of that which is real. See hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life.

As this, in most cases, is a process over time, you may as well enjoy the belief in being someone while having it undone, which is what you do when you are tuned into the brain´s script.

The special self keeps coming back to Facebook or a similar media, where messages and likes seem to confirm its specialness. But, if not continually established as unique, it starts doubting itself and thus loses its sense of being the one in charge of itself, which it fears more than anything else. PART 3:
What you believe in being is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain so that it feels as if there is a self having a conscious experience of being inside a substantial body in a tangible world. For those who consider themselves spiritual, the brain assembles another construction of thoughts that make them feel there is more than meet the eye. Read more about that here. Whatever is believed to experience the self is also a construction of thoughts.

In that thought construction of the brain, everything has a contrast, so it can be defined by that and experienced as something authentic by someone definitive. Therefore, as every experience comes in pairs, you cannot have love without hate, for example. In other words, you must know hatred to experience love and vice versa.

When your perception is in sync with this thought construction of the brain, separation is not seen as a means to make you better than others but to experience a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus hate and negativity, for example, are not considered as something to avoid but to help you experience love and positivity. Read more about that here.

But if your perception is out of sync with this thought construction of dualism, negative thoughts are seen as something that should be excluded from one´s perception of itself, so one appears to be only positive. This is accomplished by projecting every unpleasant thought onto others and/or obscure parts of one´s own body. But it is like trying to turn on a TV without the negative pole of the electrical wire. It does not work.

The special self is never in sync with the moment as it is. There is always a story going on in the background of its head, based on long-time forgotten events perceived to have made it suffer. And that prevents it from feeling entertained by the present moment.

Being out of sync with the present and thus the brain occurs when the consciousness that the brain has installed in the self goes rogue** and makes a special perception of the present moment based on frustrations of the past, so there seems to be something wrong or missing in the present.

Though the disharmony of the perception and the actual events of the present is due to the phoney perception of being unique, the special self condemns the brain for the discrepancy and praises itself for going new ways to make things better. But what the special self actually blames the brain for is its own inadequacy. And since it fundamentally is a product of the brain (read more about that here), the disapproval of the brain is a condemnation of itself.

No matter what you believe to be, you are mistaken because it takes more than one to believe something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

That is why perceiving to be special entails feelings of depression and stress instead of the happiness and relaxation that comes from not making a special perception of the experiences the brain produces but one that is in sync with them. Unfortunately, however, hardly anybody knows how it feels to perceive the experiences as they are.

Should they accidentally discard the perception that makes them appear special and stand bare as the basic self, they feel humiliated and unimportant. Were they not so eager to make a difference, they would instead discover the satisfaction of being in sync with their maker, namely the brain.

It is foolish to believe you are someone in a video game just because it seems to make you feel something. And so is believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Whatever you feel to be comes from your the interpretation of your experiences and, like in a video game, they are founded on nothing. The world where you appear to be someone is pure fiction. There is no god or higher consciousness making it, nor being aware of it, because that requires more than one. And there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

That said, as it takes more than one to be a basic, special or any other self, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, there is no self at all. So if you believe being someone reading this, you need to undo the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. The enlightenment of that which is one fixes that at once. See hack #6.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one.

But you can also enjoy this belief for some time while having it undone. By being in tune with the basic self the brain has made, the experiences it creates make you feel so good that you eventually forget to believe it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Therefore, since the brain is out of work, it falls apart. Thus there is no experience of a world where there seems to be more than one to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is one.

You are in tune with the basic self when you automatically perceive its experience as ´it is what it is.´Read about that in hack #4.2 Being a self or no-self. You are also in tune with it when you follow the duality flow. Read about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.
