BM4 The belief in a body-mind connection with you as the master of the body is the destroyer of wellness [draft]

The multiplication of thoughts needed to construct an image of you as an independent being causes brain fog, wherefore the fogged in messages reaching the body from the brain results in a tired body. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
When you do not suppress feelings by holding back the breath or try to alter it with yoga exercises or something else that stops the natural rhythm of it, you are effortlessly in sync with the flow of thoughts as they come from the brain. And since not too many thoughts are needed to uphold the construction of you as a basic self, the flow of thoughts does not seem to be disturbing but entertaining.

That is until the consciousness, the brain has installed in the basic self that it made, thinks it knows better than its maker and plots against it to become independent so it can be in charge of its appearance. This, however, requires a more complicated construction of thoughts than the simple one accumulated by the brain to fabricate the basic self in which the consciousness resides.

The rogue consciousness,** therefore, perceives the basic self in such a way that fear holds back the breath long enough for the thoughts flowing along with it to be imprisoned and thus force their way out of this locked-in moment by multiplying themselves.

In reality, nothing is missing because reality is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be be missed.

But when they are out, they continue their frantic movement inside the special self, which, therefore, feel completely different from the basic self and the laid-back stream of thoughts, the brain produces to support it. But the rogue consciousness** does not want the restless stream of thoughts to slow down and find the rest that comes from being in sync with the basic self, because they stop to multiply, and there will not be enough thoughts to make up a plausible story of why it is more exciting to be a special than a basic self, even though the basic one is so happy.

You cannot make the world better, but you can make your perception of it better, so it is in sync with the experience that the brain renders of it to make you feel entertained. This is automatically done by the brain when there is no interference from you. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thus it organises the thoughts into pairs, not of love though but interdependency, as they each need the other to confirm its apparent existence. The first pair, which is in charge of all the other pairs consists of a judge, who determines what thoughts are good and bad, and an executioner, who excludes the thoughts its partner has sentenced to be bad so that the rest, namely those thoughts judged as good, can be compiled into a construction that makes up a special self that is perceived to be better than the basic one made by the brain.

Read more about this twosome in the paragraph The world is a construction of fragmented thoughts in Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

This image of a self that is better than others and independent of the brain, the rogue consciousness** keeps together by hiding the excluded thoughts in obscure parts of the body, where the suppressed energy of them mess up the natural flow of the breath and thus the stream of thoughts used to keep the body healthy. The special self, therefore, concludes it is better if it takes it care of the body itself.

As you can see, to be special and independent requires much work, and since it is not rewarded with a sound body but one with psychosomatic disorders, the special self feels quite confused, contrary to the basic one who happily makes the brain take care of it.

This does not necessarily mean, however, that the basic self has a sound body, but that if it gets sick, it is caused by a physical disorder and not a psychological one. It may also be that the script for the body have been stitch together in such a way that parts of it do not function so well.

But as the happiness of the basic self does not depend on appearance, this makes no difference. It may even be helpful. The bad functioning body of Alexius, for example, makes it easy for him to slow down physically and in an effortlessly way, use all his energy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

No need to change yourself into something special. You are good enough as you are. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Please be aware, it is not possible to change the basic self into a special one. But it is possible to change the perception of the basic self so that it seems to become a special self. Since this is self-deception, the perception of change is out of sync with the script of the brain. This is why so much confusion arises from this perception.

Fortunately, confusion, if not edited, ignites a take-off to the empty breath,* that makes you indifferent to the exciting experiences which seem to come from perceiving oneself to be special.

INTERLUDE:
The biological system of the body is used by the brain to uphold it, so if the body bothers you it is in most cases best to let nature take its course because if you try to solve the problem in the body with mental ideas of balance, for example, you fuck up the ability of the body to take care of itself. The basic self would never do this. But the special self always thinks it knows better, so it forces the body to do extreme yoga exercises, heavy weight lifting, restricting diets, tantra sex, or other mental concepts of wellness that makes the body appear to be its instrument. The price is a body that suffers, but since the primary concern of the special self is its appearance, it gladly pays the price.

As you and your ideas of healing mess up the natural flow between the body and the brain, the latter cannot heal the damage you inflict on the body – especially since the body is made to deal with physical problems and not mental ones. Hence you need to set the body free from your domain so the flow between the body and the brain can be reestablished.

This does not mean that you become redundant. Maybe you need to call a professional physician. The body will let you know.

It is relaxing, as well as energising, not to control your appearance but go with the flow like it comes from the brain – as you go with the flow of the waves when swimming. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
What is projected onto others seems to have been excluded from what you believe to be and, instead, established as what you believe others to be. But since this is solely based on your judgment, the transference is purely mental.

In other words, nothing has been excluded from you except the awareness of it, which most likely has been accomplished by hiding the excluded in your body. This suppression, however, of thoughts and feelings in obscure parts of the body creates blockages that prevent the biological system from communicating with the brain. That makes way for you, undisturbed by the biological system, to impose mental ideas of wellness upon it, for example by forcing the body to sit in rigid meditation positions, which makes the body numb.

But you are not meant to make a perception of the thoughts coming from the brain, so they seem to be in alignment with mental concepts of spiritualism, capitalism or any other ism. You are meant to perceive them as they are, which you do when you feel entertained because that is the purpose of them.

No matter how hard you try to make the concept of a body-mind connection work, the result is a messed up body and mind.

Although it feels comforting to be in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain, it is not needed for having the belief in being someone definitive undone. All that is required for that is to not pay attention to your perception of the thoughts coming from the brain – just like the events in a game or a dream are exposed as make-believe when your interpretation of them is not taken seriously.

In other words, to have the belief in being someone undone, there is no need to change anything but the choice to believe that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, which it automatically is when you do not interpret your experience of it as real but symbols of that which is real. See hack #2.1 To see symbols of life in the world.

As this, in most cases, is a process over time, you may as well enjoy the belief in being someone while having it undone, which is what you do when in sync with the thoughts of the brain.

The special self keeps coming back to Facebook or a similar media, where messages and likes seem to confirm its specialness. If not continually established as unique, it starts doubting itself and thus loses its sense in being the one in charge of itself, which it fears more than anything else. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3:
What you believe to be is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain in such a way, that it feels like there is a self having a conscious experience of being someone definitive inside a substantial body in a tangible world. This also applies to whatever is believed to experience this self. Also, if this self is experienced to be spiritual or someone in a dream.

In that thought construction, everything has a contrast so it can be defined by that and experienced as something specific by someone definitive. As every experience, therefore, comes in pairs, you cannot have one without the other. You must, for example, know what is bad to experience what is good and vice versa.

When in sync with this thought construction of the brain, separation is not seen as a means to make you better than others, but to experience a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus hate and negativity, for example, are not considered to be avoided, but something just as needed as love and positivity.

But if not in sync with this thought construction negative thoughts are seen as something that should be excluded from one´s perception of itself, so one appears to be only positive, which is accomplished by projecting every unpleasant thought onto others. But it is like trying to turn on a TV without the negative pole of the electrical wire. It does not work.

The special self is never in sync with the moment as it is. There is always a story going on in the background, based on long-time forgotten events perceived to have made it suffer, that prevents it from being entertained by the present moment.

Being out of sync with the thought construction of the brain occurs when the consciousness that the brain has installed in the self goes rogue** and make a special perception of the present moment based on frustrations of the past, so there seems to be something wrong or missing in the present.

Though the disharmony of the perception and the actual events of the present is due to the hateful perception of the special self, it condemns the brain for the discrepancy, and praise itself for going new ways to make things better. But what the special self blames the brain for is its own inadequacy. And since it actually is a product of the brain (read more about that here), this is the damnation of itself.

No matter what you believe to be, you are mistaken, because it takes more than one to believe something and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

That is why perceiving to be special entails feelings of depression and stress instead of the happiness and relaxation that comes from not creating a special perception of the experiences the brain produces. Hardly anybody, however, knows how it feels to perceive the experiences as they are.

Should they accidentally, through mindfulness or something similar believed to bring them back to basic, discard the perception making up the special image of themselves, and stand bare as the basic self, they feel humiliated and reduced to being secondary. Were they not so eager to make a difference, they would instead discover the satisfaction of being a servant of the brain.

Believing to be a substantial creature in a world where there seems to be more than one, because it appears to have an effect on you is as foolish as to assume you are someone in a video game, because it seems to make you feel something. But since what you believe to feel is caused by the feelings you project on it, there is nothing outside of you to confirm your existance as someone substantial. It is pure fiction.

And there is not even something, a consciousness or whatnot, making up this fiction, nor being aware of it, because there is no more than that which is one and it takes more than one to make up or be aware of something.

That being said, as it takes more than one to be a basic as well as a special or any other kind of self and as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, there is no self at all. So if there is an experience of reading this, there is a need to believe so, because it seems to confirm you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one and that it, therefore, is possible to be and have more than that which is one, although it is formless and therefore endless.

PART 4:
It is not something personal when the special self blames everybody for being wrong. They are just a means to get rid of whatever the special self perceives as unacceptable in itself so that it can feel good by making them bad.

If the special self accuses someone of being a dictator, for example, and proves it by saying that because of this you are evil, it does not necessarily mean that the special self wants to hide a secret wish in itself to dominate. It is more likely that it wants to hide what perceiving someone to be a dictator makes it feel. It could be anger or desperation. Or maybe stubbornness that the special self needs to deny in itself so it can maintain the belief in being an open person. It could also be hatred or a basic feeling of not being good enough, which it wants to hide by blaming a perceived dictator for having caused by being unjust.

But whatever feeling the special self excludes from its consciousness of who it is by blaming somebody else for having caused it, the feeling will return to its awareness as a feeling caused by itself when there is nobody to blame for it. To avoid that, the special self is always on the lookout for a scapegoat. If the spouse that it divorced was its primary scapegoat, it probably continues an inner conversation with the spouse, until a replacement is found.

This is not to say that one should stop blaming others because if you do that you miss a perfect opportunity to see what it is that you hide in yourself by blaming them. Having exposed it, you can deal with it where it is made, namely in yourself. Having done that, you do not need to hide and thus not to spent time on finding scapegoats to feel fine.

There is probably no faster way to expose a problem of yours than to blame others for having caused it. And there may be no quicker way to resolve the exposed issue than to use its unpleasant energy for a take-off to the empty breath, as it only takes it one second to wipe the slate clean (read more about that here), so you are restored as the basic self and feels as renewed. You do not even have to understand the exposed problem or know what it is to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. All you need is to feel it entirely.

See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ for how to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. And see The YOU finger and the three ME fingers for how thankful you should be for those you have blamed for your problems because they have helped you to expose them so they can be used them to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

And continue reading hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough to learn more about having the slate wiped clean, so you start afresh as the basic self that repeatedly is injected with shots of happiness by the brain.
