[+]´The empty breath´ undoes all conditioning (in the process of being updated)

There are several established ways of feeling somebody else when you believe to be someone substantial in a tangible world. But there are no ways to feeling the empty breath than to momentarily stop believing that you are someone at all. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since the empty breath has no personality, it has no power of its own, so if its rhythmic flow is experienced to be weaker when you appear to be sick or about to die, it is because the rhythm of it is always synchronised with what you believe to be. Yet the operator of the empty breath (see the paragraph of the same name in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?), which is the non-rhythmic energy behind the rhythm of the empty breath remains the same and is also experienced like that if this is the aspect you are in touch with.

So if the transparent non-rhythmic energy of the empty breath is only partially experienced, when the body seems to be out-of-order, the problem is not the empty breath, but that you do not want to experience it fully, when there seem to be problems with the condition of the body, because that would render it unimportant and thus question your belief in being there.

The less you believe to be substantial, the more you will feel the non-rhythmic transparent energy of the empty breath.

This does not mean that you should not take care of the body and consult a qualified health care professional to deal with potential problems. You also bring your car to a garage for a check-up, even though it is not you.

When you do not know anything, there is not somebody to be sad or happy – nor anything else specific. Thus there is nothing but emptiness, which is pure bliss.

The achievement of something requires much effort, but since the empty breath is nothing, no effort is needed to obtain it. In fact, any attempt to do that hides it as that makes the empty breath seem to be something.

There is no help to get if you do not feel the transparent bliss of the empty breath, as this is a result of your own choice in believing to be someone substantial. This choice, however, is automatically undone, when everything you know is unlearned, so read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings until nobody is reading them.

Since everything you have you have learned enforces the belief, that you and what you experience consists of something – whether this is experienced to be mundane or spiritual – you need to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings again and again until there is not something like consciousness to be aware of someone definitive reading something specific.

Not being conscious of something, neither the empty breath, there is nothing to make perfect. Consequently, you are not benumbed in an experience of yourself as someone definitive but in the flow of nothing.

This does not necessarily mean that there are no feelings of sorrow or joy passing by, but that their apparent difference does not make a difference. Hence you should not go with the flow of the empty breath while driving a car, for example, as you need to be conscious about all the apparent differences in the traffic so you can follow your conditioned response to these differences. Read more about conditioned responses here.

The empty breath undoes your conditioned belief in being someone definitive, because it sets in before there is a conscious recognition of being someone at all. Read more about it here.

But while brushing your teeth, doing the dishes, taking a walk in the park or something else, that does not crave a lot of attention, you can follow the flow of the empty breath, and thus bypass your conditioned perception, so it does not stop you from discovering new ways of taking care of the body and the life you seem to have inside it.

Hence the appearance of you as someone definitive does not seem to drag you down but to enhance the connection with the empty breath, and thus support having the belief in being someone definitive undone while at the same time enjoying it.

The most exciting aspect of ´the empty breath´, namely indifference, is not exciting but liberating.

The empty breath can be felt in many exciting ways. The most exciting one, though, is not a feeling, but indifference to the apparent differences experienced in a world defined by time and space and thus to sensing it to be real. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Physically speaking the empty breath is best felt when the air is coming in and out through the nose and not the mouth. But not as if it is you who do the breathing, but an ´engine´ inside the body. It first expands the abdomen, secondly the belly and lastly the chest before it after a short break goes the other way to contract the body. And then on and on. It feels like there is hardly any air coming in and out of the nose but that it remains as a stream within the body.

Please be aware, that this is not a factual description of how breathing is carried out when the empty breath is in the driving seat, but a description of how it feels. It is not something you should try to replicate by doing deep breaths and whatnot. In fact, it has nothing to do with that, as the whole concept of the empty breath is that you do nothing.

Doing Nordic Walking, or rather going with the flow of it, could be beneficial you in regards to not to do something. It may also help you to expose the defence mechanisms, that you have built up in the body against going with the flow of the empty breath.

When you are connected with a Fitbit watch for example, it is from the connection itself you get an exceptional feeling but from the data it gives you.

Likewise you may not feel excited about the connection with the empty breath, as its radiance of indifference makes you indifferent to the apparent differences in a world defined by time and space. But as this makes the experience of it seems like nothing instead of something, you are in the bliss of emptiness.

This is not to say that all these defence mechanisms must come to an end to feel the empty breath. Having the willingness to not be somebody, but nobody is what makes you feel the empty breath. Neither is it important in which of the ways described in the previous article, What does ´the empty breath´ feel like, that it is felt, or if it is felt in another way.

Read about willingness in Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one or the paragraph The only requirement is willingness in the article The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

Although these ways of feeling the empty breath definitely are fascinating, the most exciting way to feel it – or rather not feeling it – is simply to follow its consistent flow of indifference. Since that makes you indifferent to the experience of differences in the world where you appear to be, there does not seem to be anybody feeling anything but the bliss from being indifferent to the belief in being someone.

If the body seems to get better, when you feel connected with the empty breath, it is not due to the empty breath – at least not directly – because it does not know of something that needs improvement. Indirectly though it is because of the empty breath, as in its presence you are not in the default mode of doing something about something, so the body is not disturbed by your perception of being the master of it.

To imagine that the body is a product of how you perceive the world** or of something spiritual is like thinking there is a connection between the body and a coat, it is wearing. Though the coat seems to go where the body goes, there is no communicative link between them.

That the condition of the body is linked to what you think, is like assuming there is a connection between you and the world in a movie you are watching. This connection is entirely imaginative. The world in the film is unaffected by the thoughts or feelings you appear to have about it, and does it have the power to cause them, unless you imagine this.

In other words, no sicknesses in the body are caused by the mind, the soul or anything but something physical. Hence no mental or spiritual ideas will heal it. The attempt to do so results in psychosomatic disorders and frustrated thoughts and feelings about how to treat them. Unfortunately, this disturbance is perceived as proof of such a connection between the body and mind and/or soul instead of a warning against making such one.

The belief in a body-mind connection is a confusion of levels – just like when you feel your body is connected with somebody you are chatting with on the phone. Though there may be a mental connection, there is no physical connection.

Fortunately, the empty breath is indifferent to whatever you seem to think or feel, and so are you when connected with it. This does not mean it fixes the body, but that it liberates it from the sick ideas you have forced upon it so that it can be taken care of by its biological system – maybe with the help of qualified health care professional.

In the article, The purpose of the duality hacks is not to heal the body but the belief that there is someone in it, you can read more about how the mix of a physical symptom and your worries about it develops a psychosomatic disorder, that only can be healed when dealing with the physical manifestation in a physical way and the psychological problem in a mental or emotional way.

Or check hack #4.3 To be a happy self or not about the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection based on you being the master of it.

NOTE: This article is a nota bene to What is ´the empty breath´ about?. They are both part of hack #4.5 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.
