+++´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be

The circles in this image graphically illustrates a few of the non-definitive circles within the empty breath, which you can read a lot more about in the next article What does the empty breath feel like?. Though there are a tons of these non-definitive circles in the empty breath, you may only feel one of them at a time passing through the head or above it and the stomach or below it. None of the non definitive circles are outside of you like in this image, that rather reflects the ego´s idea of the empty breath, namely that you are somebody special in charge of life. Yet you are not in charge of anything, and there is no life in the world where you believe to be, nor is what you believe to be there, because there is nothing but the oneness of life, as it is formless and therefore endless. In other words, you appearing to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space is a fantasy. The belief that this fantasy is real is what the empty breath undoes. The graphic, which is grabbed from the web, has been manipulated by Alexius.

The empty breath is neither inside or outside of you, because the empty breath does not know you as someone definitive in substantial world. The empty breath is empty space and what you believe to be is a fantasy made out of that as well. In other words, it is only the belief that you are someone definitive, that seems to separate you from the empty breath.

This article is a preface to What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?.

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 percent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and just like a dream does not contain anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. See also the article Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

It is not possible to be anything specific, because reality is formless and therefore without beginning and end, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Spirituality is often considered to be about unconditional love, compassion and cosmic consciousness or wisdom, but as spirituality is formless, it cannot be defined as something specific. Neither can it be experienced as something, as it is that which is one and it takes more than one to experience something.

Nor can any of this be experienced outside the reality of spirituality, as it is formless and therefore without beginning and end, so there is nothing outside of it. Thus the experience of you as someone in a world defined by time and space or having been transformed into a spiritual world is make-believe.

In other words, the experience of a material world, where you and Alexius are tangible appearances separated by time and space is make-believe – and so is the experience of being connected with the empty breath (see also the articles Whatever that you are aware of is an illusion, because it requires more than one to be conscious of something and A perfect moment takes you back to the first moment of the world).

The connectedness with the empty breath, however, is so closely related to the basic contrast making up the perception of you as someone definitive, namely expansion and contraction, that a continuous close connection with it (see Without contrasts there is no duality, and so nothing seems to hide non-duality) cancels out its apparent effect as if you are someone who makes a difference.

As this means there is nothing to hide that what you experience to be something is nothing but empty, there is nothing to sustain the belief in a world defined by time and space.

This is not to say, that you and the world where you appear to be is dissolved, because there is not something to dissolve, since you appearing to be someone in a world defined by time and space is a fantasy made out of empty space. What has been dissolved though is the belief that this fantasy is real, so that there is no belief to hide there never was and never will be anything else that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

There is nobody in a dream and nobody is making it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

In general this belief is not undone for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), before it compulsively is picked up again. Should you wonder who it is, that is picking it up, the answer is nobody. Just like nobody in a dream picks up anything, because there is nothing to pick up, nor is there someone to do this.

If you really want to believe that you are someone definitive, you may ask, who is making a dream of a world defined by time and space. But though a dream appears to come from someone dreaming it, nobody is making it or in it, neither is the dream in the one who appears to be dreaming it, because there is nothing in it, unless the dreamer wants to believe so.

To make long short, what you believe to be to be in a world defined by time and space is an imagination made by nobody from out of nothing, so it is best not to limit your experience of the empty breath to time and space.

In other words, even though the swing of the empty breath in the paragraph of the same name in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like? is described to be felt inside the body, please do not use the description to limit your experience of it as if it is in a specific place only (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?).

Be aware that the descriptions of the empty breath are written by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, so just like the concepts of the world in a game like Monopoly, for example, are acknowledged but not believed to be real, the concept of dividing everything in contrasts that seem to that turn empty space into elements of matter are acknowledged but not believed to be real.

Hence the terms of inside and outside in regards to where the empty breath is felt should not be taken too literal.*

*) This is not to be understood as if the apparent physical borders of the body never is important. In fact they are very important, as long as you appear to be inside of it and from there must navigate in a world defined by time and space.
