There is nothing outside of that which is one, neither inside

When you defocus you perceive the world from within and from there it is easy to ´see´ it is an illusion, that will change in relation to your interpretation. There is a time for everything, as they say, and for example driving a car is not the time for defocusing.

The more you defocus the more the inner senses are activated, and the more they are the foundation for how you perceive the world of the outer senses, the more you it is obvious that anything definable is an illusion. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Reality has no inside or outside. Such a concept requires the existence of more than one, and reality is the formlessness of that which is one, because what is formless is endless. That being said, the world is build on the illusion, that there is more than one, so in such a world – contrary to that which is one – its appearances seem to have something definable as well as inside as outside.

But as reality has no outside, there is no more than that which is one, so nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one is real. Consequently inside and outside are equally illusionary. Yet this might be easier to realise from what is perceived to be inside, as the outside does not appear to matter that much from that perspective and therefore seems to lose its apparent power over you.

NOTES:

  • The above is written within the context of a world, where there seems to be more than one. As long as you appear to be someone in such a world, you can either use this hallucination to make it appear as if it is real or simply expose it as the illusion it is. The latter helps you to undo your belief in the belief, that there is more than that which is one.
