There is no structure in the empty breath like there is in the world of the outer senses, where everything is organised into contrast, so it seems that the world is divided in right and wrong. As it requires much effort to continuously uphold the judgments of good and bad, it is much more fun to let the empty breath take over and guide you back and forth in the worlds of the outer and inner senses, so that the relaxation you get from not being able to divide the abstract world of the inner senses into contrasts of good and bad becomes the foundation for perceiving the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses to not make a difference. It may seem frightening to not give your full attention to the structured world of the outer senses, and instead be in automatic gear via the unstructured flow of the empty breath. This fear though is unfounded because, without the constant control, that is needed to keep the world of the outer senses organised in the way you expect it should be, you have a laid-back life there when guided by the empty breath.

To keep up the appearance of being someone specific you must always be vigilant towards what others think. Yet you do not know, what they think. It is something you think, they think. In other words, it is nobody else than yourself, that you are up against.

It will guide you back and forth between the outer and inner senses, so that the relaxation you get from the world of the inner senses, which contrary to the outer senses is not based on control, will be the basis of how the world of the outer senses is experienced.

The empty breath can be felt within the non-definitive borders of a ball like thing with the lower part of it passing through the abdomen or the stomach and the upper the head or above it. The swing of the empty breath, that may be the most common aspect of it, is shaped like a curved yin yang line – but less curved and not with a definitive form – within this borderless ball. It is felt inside the body swinging from the back to the front of it or up and down, but it can also be felt swinging from side to side and everywhere in between these directions.

Sensing all directions simultaneously is like feeling no swing at all – as if the world stands still. Mostly though it is the swing from the back to the front of the body that is felt, maybe combined with the up/downswing. The swing may be felt in the abdomen, stomach or chest or all those places at once.

The empty breath can be felt in many ways, among others like id you are riding on two big yin-yang like waves but without the holes in alignment with the rhythm of the breath. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The swing of the empty breath is powered by an extremely fast and chaotic energy, that is sensed both inside and outside the body within the non-definitive borders of the ball that make up the empty breath, as if it is going here, there and everywhere without going anywhere. It feels like you are a transparent fountain of joy. And going around the non-definitive border of the ball feels like surfing two waves formed like the two parts of a yin-yang sign (with no dots in it). In general, you just feel one of the aspects of the empty breath at a time. But may you also feel aspects not described in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

This article, however, is not especially about the empty breath, so if you want a more detailed explanation of how it feels read the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like or read Take-offs to the empty breath for connecting with it or The nature of ´the empty breath´ to learn about its purpose. But now onto the subject of this article, namely the inner senses.

Fearing the empty breath is not unfounded, if you want to remain as someone special in a world defined by time and space, because the empty breath guides you into the world of the inner senses, where you are nobody.

So if you fear the empty breath, you know it is because you believe to be someone definitive, and as this belief is undone by the empty breath, there is nothing to fear if you connect with it.

The empty breath is not a step to something better because it is a state of not knowing and so is the other duality hack in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings/. For this reason, there is no way to know, if they differ from each other or in any way overlap each other. And so what. There is nobody to care about that in a state of not-knowing. The world of the inner senses
In the case of Alexius the main period for mostly experiencing the world of the inner senses and having glimpses of enlightenment is just before going to sleep, at which time he gives the world of the outer senses minimum attention so he can travel in the world of the inner ones.

This often starts as a perfect moment induced by his connectedness with the empty breath. And as this is a state of not-knowing and so is having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, he does not know if these state-of knowing differs from each other, or if they are intertwined. And neither does he know long time a state of not-knowing lasts.

Yet he knows it comes and goes and that a state of not-knowing probably lasts less than 20 minutes, since a brain will go into coma, if it is not kept active with thoughts about how to develop what you appear to be so you seem to become and have more (see the article Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one).

If a state of not-knowing differs from being induced by a take-off to the empty breath, glimpses of enlightenment, inclusiveness, pretending to be someone definitive, seeing symbols of life in the world or being alone together, which are the main duality hacks (see the table of contents) is not to say, since it is a state of not-knowing.

When he wakes up in the morning he also knows that the cure for believing to be someone definitive is to be in a state of not-knowing. Whether it is triggered by the empty breath or another duality hack does not matter. What matters is that the pure bliss of a state of not-knowing (see the article Inclusiveness is a state of not-knowing – and that is pure bliss) is achieved totally effortlessly without the help of thoughts and feelings, so when the state is over and you again seems to have thoughts and feelings, you know you do not need them.

The wording in this image seems to suggest what new age people like to believe, namely that even though almost all thoughts are illusionary, at least some of them are real, so if you look hard enough you will find the truth. But as there is nobody to look for anything other than the ´self´, any kind of searching or self-restraint seems to prove you are a self, and thus an illusion since there is no self. In other words, all thoughts are illusionary and the way to expose them is to not participate in the race for more – regardless it appears to be so-called spiritual or materialistic – because believing to be a ´self´ is all about being and having more than the formlessness of oneness. But when he forgets that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, thoughts and feelings seem important because if interpreted to be caused by a world where there seems to be more than one, they can be used to prove he is someone in it.* However, in the below description of a blissful night, where most of his awareness is on the abstract world of the inner senses, he is reminded there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

When it is the empty breath that takes care of the switch between the inner and outer senses, you do not where the border between them is – or if there is one.

A night with blissful on and off moments of not-knowing
Laying in the bed with a sleeping mask** on and earphones with triple flange sleeves* plugged into his ears, the transparent sound of the empty breath*** seems to transport him into worlds of light, where lucid flowers or whole universes unfold in an extreme speed or in slow-mo until thoughts or feelings are trying to surface and sleep sets in. Going into a deep sleep, the visions of light continue, and when he wakes up early in the morning they turn into ethereal harmonies.

It does not seem exciting to me anymore to travel in worlds of light. I am rather naturally attracted to leaving everything behind and as nothing sucked though a black hole into that which is one. It seems like ages ago when Alexius enjoyed travelling in worlds of light. Nowadays he prefers to leave everything behind and as nothing float through a black hole**** into the formlessness of that which is one. Actually, this is a typical description from many years ago, where the glimpses of enlightenment were exciting journeys in the enchanted worlds of light. Nowadays he does not care much for such visions, that mostly are exciting because they to some extent are recognisable, so instead, it is visions of abstract nothingness. That is until they swirl together around a so-called black hole****, which is neither exciting or relaxing. It just is.

The vibration, that Aum or Sohang symbolises*****, is another aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one, that can be experienced through the inner senses. In the case of Alexius, it pops up every now and then during the day as a natural extension of the empty. The taste of the enlightenment of that which is one also pops up – for example when he is writing about it.

Enlightenment of that which is one is impersonal, but the vague memories of it is filtered by the personality, and as it is not able to embrace one perpetual present, it is described as a personal experience in time and space. Glimpses of enlightenment is solely a personal experience.

Eyes cannot see – they translate, or it is rather the brain that translate all the otherwise meaningless info it receives through the eyes according to how it is conditioned to see the world. If it receives info that does not fit into its image of the world, it twist it until it does. In other words, you have no idea about what is written in this article or what is in the world. You do not know what is written in this article, because what you think you read is coloured by your interpretation
Be aware that the above is how Alexius experiences the world of the inner senses when the world of the outer senses gets less attention or absolutely none. But just like you and he probably experience things in the world of the outer senses differently, the same may apply to the glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner senses – and regarding the enlightenment of that which is one the vague memories of not being someone at all are most likely selective.

In other words, the descriptions you get in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings of the enlightenment of that which is one and the glimpses of it are not meant to be absolute. Besides, you have actually not read the descriptions, but your interpretations of them.*****

The night can be full of restless dreams, that seem very real, until you quietly wake up to the sound of ethereal music, that cancels out the confusion of the night, so that you full of clarity get out bed.

Neither is his experience the same every night. Some nights thoughts or emotions seem to take over and take him into the world of the outer senses. No worries, if that happens to you too. It is a great way to see, that thoughts and emotions have no power, and that power is not necessary when there is no need to be someone at all.

The key to opening up to the world of the inner senses is purpose, namely the purpose of not using the outer senses to experience a tangible world outside of you.

If the the purpose of putting on a sleeping mask is to cancel out the ligt from the world of the outer senses, you will be in the light of the inner senses. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Anything perceived as definable blocks out the full tour of the inner senses
You cannot do something to be in the world of the inner senses, because the intention of doing something in order to be or have something only works in the world of the outer senses, as that is experienced to be tangible. But for the very same reason, you can do something to not experience the world of the outer senses – for example putting on a sleeping mask.

Best to forget all the descriptions from Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings about the glimpses of enlightenment, as you may interpret them to be something specific, and that cannot be replicated in the world of the inner senses.

If you remember the last time you travelled in incredible worlds of lucid light and you want more excitement like that, you will not get it, as defining glimpses of enlightenment in this way turn them into an experience of the outer senses, because only there does it seem possible to experience something specifically more than once. In other words, if trying to interpret the glimpses of the enlightenment in the way you do in the world of the outer senses, there is no more glimpses to experience.

When you completely turn off the outer senses – or rather are willing to do so – you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. No image can be shown of that because it cannot be experienced, since the experience of something requires more than one. Glimpses of enlightenment, however, can be experienced. One of the last glimpses you may have before there is no more consciousness, as it requires more than one to be conscious of something, could be something like this image looking like a horse head, which is what a so-called black hole**** sometimes look like just before there is nothing but light. There is not someone to know if the light is exploding out of the hole or into it, neither does anybody know that there is nothing else than light with no colour or substance until there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. To turn off the outer senses partially or fully
The easiest way to switch between the outer and inner senses is, of course, to let the empty breath take care of it – see The nature of ´the empty breath´ – but until you are willing to choose not to choose yourself but to be guided by the empty breath the below suggestion may be of help.

You turn off the outer senses by not selecting specific thoughts and feelings to be excluded, but instead include them, so that there are no contrasts left – for example good and bad – and consequently nothing to define you as someone definitive. If the inclusion is not complete but partial you have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, and if it is complete there is not someone to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

Do not pay too much attention to the world of the outer senses, when in the world of the inner senses, but let it be there somewhere in the background. When moving in the world of the outer senses, it is often best hardly to pay attention to the inner world except as a blissful memory, that helps you to focus on what you seem to be doing in the world of the outer senses without being deceived by it.

There are no rules though, so there may be times where the two worlds seem to mix in a beneficial way, but why not fully enjoy the taste of wine on the premises of the world of the outer senses, and totally space out when you fly through amazing worlds of abstract light in the world of the inner senses.

In other words, when you are solely in the world of the inner senses, the belief in being someone in a specific body defined by time and space is undone by the enlightenment of that which is one, and so you do not appear to be in a world defined by time and space anymore. Neither do you appear to be somewhere else, because the belief in being someone is undone. Thus it is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at all.

In the enlightenment of that which is one there is no consciousness of a body or that you ever seemed to be or have one, because it takes more than one to be conscious about something. In other words, there is no more than that which always was and always will be, namely the formlessness of that which is one, since formlessness is endless and therefore everything.

What sort of external music resembles the internal one

If you are used to the ethereal music, that the inner senses reveal when the outer ones are partly turned off, memories of these harmonies may be triggered when listening to external music from artists like Charalambides. This image, that is grabbed from the web, is a cover from their album ´A Vintage Burden´.

Mozart might have gotten the inspiration for his compositions from hearing ethereal music inside of him. This is not to say, that his music sounds exactly like that. Rather it is to say that the flow of his music resembles the effortless elegance and beauty of ethereal harmonies originating from inside, when the outer senses are more or less closed. That is except when Mozart wants does not want to impress the audience by adding more action to the compositions than the natural flow of it calls for because ethereal harmonies never built up to a peak.

Church bells and similar sounds, that does not add up to something specific, resemble inner ethereal music. Not the monotonic pattern of repetition though like in for example church bells because ethereal music is the music of chaotic harmonies.

Contemporary electronic music, that consists of glitches and other sonic artifacts, spaced out or slowed played steel guitar, analogue or synth sounds mixed with for example piano loops, chimes and bells into ambient textures in very long tracks, that seem to be without beginning or end, have much resemblance to the ethereal music revealed by the inner senses in the organic way it appears to move on without going nowhere. The electronic music though has a lot harder edge to it and a less transparent sound than inner music, which has a crystal clear but distant sound to it with no sonic artefacts needed to produce the ethereal harmonies.

The kind of new-age music, that are dreamy symphonies of otherworldly states – for example Karunesh and Marsen Jules – does not resemble ethereal music, but the new-age ideas of us all wakening up in a merry-go-round world, where everything is always right, which of course is an illusion, because something cannot be right without something being wrong.

Ethereal music is not a dream about something better, neither is it symphonic or anything that suggests else a sequence of something happening in time, whether that is to wake up or whatnot. And it is definitely not otherworldly, as it is echoes of that which is one and there is no other world than that since it is formless and therefore endless.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, however, the random sounds making up ethereal music may be remembered as if they fit together like in a symphony, because there is a sense of bliss or stillness from these random harmonies united in one perpetual present.

Appearing in the world with eyes and ears wide open it is obvious that all experiences are deceptions, so I see no sense in meditating or do anything else to experience higher states of mind, as they are just as deceitful as all other experiences. If I want to relax from appearing in the world of the outer senses, I shut them down by not following the urge to get excited from specific experiences. In other words, if I do not try to escape boredom by finding something to get excited about, the world of the inner senses opens up.

When I appear to be in the world of the outer senses, I deal with it by letting the outer senses do the navigation there, as the inner ones are hopeless in regards to that. Yet they are great in regards to in how to perceive it. In my case, I do not listen much to external music resembling the interior music. In general, I prefer more mundane music, when dealing with the world of the outer senses.

++ Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment

There is no life in the world. It is to be compared to a dream, which, no matter how beautiful it may appear, is an illusion.

Although the formlessness of that which is one it is the power making it possible to simulate a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not possible for it to be in the simulation – just like it is not possible for the street simulated in this image to be in the picture, or for a dreamer to be in the dream empowered by it.

When the formlessness of life is perceived as the sole cause of any experience – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – you never play somebody else´s game. Even if it may seem so, they are not the reason for what you appear to do and say. Neither is the person you seem to be.

There is only one reason for your apparent thoughts, feelings, conversations and actions, namely the formlessness of life. In other words, it is not someone definitive who thinks, feels, says or does something.

As life is formless and thus without beginning and end, everything definable is lifeless. Yet everything without life symbolises it, because there is no more than the formlessness of life.

This does not mean that it is the formlessness of life that thinks, feels, says or does something. But that it is the energy which makes it possible to experience as if someone is doing this, although there is no more than the formlessness of life since formlessness has no beginning or end.

Neither does it mean, that you have found the formlessness of life in a world defined by time and space, but that everything there is perceived to be a symbol of it. As both the experiencer and the experienced therefore are symbols of that which makes it possible to perceive a world where the formlessness of life seems to be divided into more than one, the apparent differences in such a world do not make a difference.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt and heard via the inner senses because they are not limited by time and space.

Hearing or feeling the echo of life
Appearing in a world defined by time and space as a symbol of the formlessness of life, you do not pump up the volume of music to hear or feel it, but to be reminded that it is the formlessness of life that makes it possible to have the experience of hearing and feeling something.

The echo of oneness does not reveal what that which is one is, but what it is not, namely the nothingness in which you believe to be someone definitive in a tangible world.

This is not to say, that the formlessness of life can be heard and/or felt in a world defined by time and space. It is not possible to hear or feel formlessness. But it is possible to hear the echo of it coming from the edge of the universe. This unpronounceable vibration, which often is symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God, is heard or felt when you are more attentive to the world of the inner senses than that of the outer ones.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally meant to symbolise one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be someone in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

As none of the aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, the experience of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration coming from the edge of the universe is not the enlightenment of that which is one but a glimpse of it. Neither is seeing or tasting the enlightenment of that which is one, since it is an experience and therefore just as illusionary as any other experience (see All experiences are equally unreal).

But as these illusionary glimpses of enlightenment is not of the world experienced by the outer senses but by the inner senses, experiencing them from there while still being aware of the world of the outer senses, they have the capacity to undo the deception of the outer senses – not abruptly like the enlightenment of that which is one, but little by little. In the world of the outer senses you must always plan for the future in order to uphold the illusion of linear time.

The more the outer senses, that perceive a world defined by time and space, is turned inwards, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inner senses. This is why it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (you can read more about the illusion of time by clicking here) – where the echo of the primordial vibration, that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises, is used to create a fantasy of a world constructed by time and space in such a way that it seems to be real until you hear or feel this echo.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of god or rather one perpetual present is symbolised by the word ´Aum´ or ´Sohang´ and in the New Testament by ´The Word of God´: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one perceives ´The Word´ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on experiencing the world of the outer senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is an echo of the formlessness of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. This includes the vibration that is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which is as close to you, as anything else you experience to be close in the world of the outer senses, if you are not deceived by them into believing that you are constricted by the definitions of time and space. The world of the inner senses is not ruled by these definitions, so there you can go directly to the edge of the universe and hear or feel the formlessness of that which is one coming out of a black hole. It is also there that you see or taste it.

One way to turn the outer senses inwards in order to hear or feel the echo of oneness is to not be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or rather are willing to do so – the sum of everything in the world of the outer senses is heard as a humming coming from the edge of the universe. It sounds or feels like nothing and everything at the same time.

In such a perfect moment you appear to be both in the world of the outer and inner senses at the same time but without any sense of separation between them. A perfect moment though is not a moment where you are filled up with new energy or anything else since you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Being that, however, is very blissful.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do this without having to spent years of meditating, chanting and whatnot.

Be aware that the ways described in this article to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will not work, if you look forward to be or have more in a spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic way. This does not mean, you must avoid being or having more but not care about how much.

The third eye
Appearing in the world as a symbol of life you do not close your eyes to go to sleep, but to see glimpses of the formlessness of life, which is done via the inner sense called the third eye, that is a single ´eye´ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this makes sense to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. Yet he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – have no energy to focus, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome by completely closing down the outer senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he in his early 20s returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to close the outer senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say that from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can close the visual outer sense and open the inner eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. It is best to do this in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outer senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having an inner vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so that there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, because formlessness has no end.

As the sense of sight is always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search around in the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle down at a light show expose at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

If no contrasts are perceived at all the colours turn into a white light, that is so bright that it is not contrasted by something or illuminating anything. That is the enlightenment of that which is one.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inner senses, that is above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger across each eyeball from outer corner to inner, while having the forefinger on the third eye.

But this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures will open the third eye.

None of the inner senses can be reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. Deactivating the outer senses, however, can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems to be helpful in this regard by all means go for it. Yet the fastest way to deactivate the outer senses is to not know what and where you are.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When you momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nobody to prevent glimpses of enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, which extracts all thoughts, that you have hold onto in order to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so that there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of that which is one.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at al. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that can be experienced as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland, that appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the enlightenment of that which i one, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, neither consciousness, because to experience or be consciousness about something requires more than one.

If you want to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you must pick up the thought construction, that was left at the edge of a black hole before you entered it, in order to be shaped as someone definitive.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is not another side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not enlightened. Yet, due to your vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, that you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But you will for sure grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and that anything appearing there – including the appearance of you as someone definitive – therefore is an illusion.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the inner world of the senses, that opens up when the outer senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense that the first sentence of this quote refers to ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´, and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

As Alexius has no intellectual knowledge of religious scripts most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to inner music.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise cancelling headphones is a great way to close the outer sense of hearing. Alexius personally prefer in-ear headphones though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way of closing the outer sense of hearing and open the inner one is to put both thumbs in your ears or simply use a noise canceling headphone or an in-ear headphone, and then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal harmonies coming to you from what may seem to be far away.

For tuning in it is best not go with the vibrations appearing to come from the left ear, as they often are the sounds of a busy mind, but instead follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of your right ear. That being said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies but the humming symbolised by ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´. If so, follow this glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one.

It could also be that the only thing you ´hear´ is your thoughts. Yet you have no thoughts. That is just something the ego wants you to believe so that although they are not made by someone definitive, you believe that they are created by you. Just like you tend to believe a dream is made by you although you do not have any control over it, except for how to perceive it.

As the ego lives from separation, it cannot survive inclusion, so if thoughts are not avoided but included, the ego is no more. And as that means there is nobody to confirm you as somebody special, there is nobody to be disturbed by thoughts. Hence empty space can be heard as eternal harmonies – or if in touch with one of the other inner senses, it can be experienced as light, eternal sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of life helps you to not focus on the world of the outer senses so that glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner ones become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outer senses. Since this results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no differentiation between you and the world where you experience to be. The taste of life
Appearing in the world as a symbol of oneness you are not tasting the most exquisite food to get delicate experiences from that, but to be reminded about the taste of life, which in the world can be compared to the taste from foam of a milkshake with a few drops of honey added to it or to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

To compare a taste to something else is a very individual thing, so you may not compare the inner taste to that of liquorice.

To describe a taste by comparing it to another taste is a very individual thing. In other words, you may not compare the taste of life to a taste of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in the old scriptures you should not expect it to make you more young or inject you with more energy in the world of the outer senses. Anyway, you are better off never to expect more of anything, as that which is you is no different from that which is one, and since it is formlessness and therefore endless there is no more than that which is one. Hence looking for more is an illusion based on the belief that is more than that which is one.

One way of undoing this belief is to not focus, because without it a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be perceived, and so it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the taste of life is very beneficial in regards to defocusing.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of life, provided you are already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted or most teas including liquorice.

As already mentioned, the taste of life can be compared to enjoying the transparent taste from the foam of a sweet milkshake. Sometimes, however, it is with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry or mint, so you none of the descriptions of it are definitive. In any case, it is best not to compare the taste of life or other glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and therefore cancels out the ever-present glimpses of enlightenment.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inner sense of taste does not only stop the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example more sweets. The taste of life is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste dripping from above. If you cannot get your tongue all the way, it is not a problem, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it.

The taste of life unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there, because it cutbacks the need to focus and also the longing for more. As a side effect it diminishes the craving for sweets as well. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques will work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe several months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way, which may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

You do not have to literally replicate the technique in above quote, where the taste of life is called Khechari Mudra. Neither do you actually need to be able to make the tongue go all the way behind the uvula. Pushing it as far as possible will do.

The way to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of its facets is not about perfection. Neither is it about how you breath, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outer senses. Yet things like that may be helpful in order to deactivate the outer senses.

But no technique in the world of the outer senses can deactivate them, if that is not the intention of executing the technique. In other words, first step is solely about intention, and if that is to deactivate the outer senses, there is nothing to hinder your trip into the world of the inner senses. Second step is to devote yourself to the amazing journey there.

The above about steps only applies to having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and not to bidding it welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

It is probably best to not be active in the world of the outer senses while having visions of light, as the visual glimpses of enlightenment can become so intense, that the world of the outer senses hardly is sensed.

When the belief in being in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone, there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

The technique for tasting the sweetness of life, however, can be carried out while being active in the world of the outer senses. The same applies to enjoy the ethereal harmonies, if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears, and also hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent though, that you are not able to navigate there. But it probably feels like you do not have to, and that you are carried around in a dream with no will of its own.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, where you no longer appear to be someone in a dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, neither do you appear to be in oneness, since that requires more than one.

In other words, you are not someone at all and there is no memory or consciousness of you ever having been that, because it was all make-believe and the belief is wiped out.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. Focus versus defocus
The world of the outer senses needs you constantly concentrate and focus on it, as if you are an autonomous creature in control of your own life. In the world of the inner senses, it is the other way around. It reveals itself when there is no effort to focus, concentrate and control.

But since it is also an act of control to continually trying not to focus in order to see, hear, feel or taste the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, so besides from getting a headache spreading out from the third eye from too much focus, the inner senses are fenced off.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inner and outer senses, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outer senses and space out in the world of the inner ones, when nothing is required of you.

How to make this work between the inner an outer sense Alexius does not know, because through his connection with the empty breath, that functions as an automatic gear shifting between the inner and outer senses, it is automatically being take care of. See the last paragraph about the empty breath.

The belief that there is more than one blocks out that which is one
In a world, where there seems to be more than one, the mixing of things may turn out to work well for you. But not in the world of oneness. As it requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of mixing the different facets of the enlightenment of that which is one fences it off.

That being said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits in regards to defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of enlightenment.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, there is no more than that which is one.

Ways to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one
Can the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, only be undone via the inner senses? No, it can also be undone though the world of the outer ones as described in the duality hacks called Pretending to be someone definitiveSeeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality, Being inclusive and not exclusive or Alone together. See hack #1-3 + 8. There might be other hacks than those to have this belief undone. But as Alexius has not tried them, he cannot say if they work. Yet, the hacks based on second-hand knowledge from Buddhism and whatnot are is most likely fake – especially if those promoting the hacks have beautiful visions about a hypothetical better future full of love, bliss and happiness, because there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, to be blissful, happy or full of love is an illusion, as it requires more than one to be anything at all.

The connection with the empty breath does not unite the outer and the inner senses but it makes them synchronised, which among other things means that what you used to judge as stressful in the low frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressing, when synched with the high frequency world of the inner senses, because of the indifference coming from the empty breath.

Connecting with the empty breath is like going into a driverless car programmed to return to that which is one
The empty breath
 ´lifts´ you out of the belief in being someone definitive by automatically synchronise the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one become the basis for interpreting the world of the outer senses.

It is like being transported in driverless car, that is programmed to take you to the aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one that attracts the most, so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

NOTES ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from where the quotes in this article are taken. He found them all by searching the internet.

When everything is included there does not appear to be something outside of you, neither inside of you, as that requires there something to be outside of you. In other words, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius do not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions, neither new age philosophy, as they in general appear to be about excluding what is judged to be bad in order to become what is judged to be better, purer or higher. Yoga techniques for example are often based on meditation or something else where what is not one is excluded. Theoretically speaking this should leave out everything but the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness cannot exclude anything, this is not what you get from being exclusive.

+(+++) What is ´the empty breath´ about?

Everything fabricated – like for example this illustration of a yin-yang sign – is supposed to have a special appearance, so that the experience of it supplies the belief, that you are somebody special. But this is not the purpose of the empty breath. On the contrary. Its purpose is to undo the belief, that you are someone at all, which it does by helping you see, that the apparent differences in the world do not make a difference, so it does not matter whether anything appears perfect or not. If you want to occur as if you are somebody important in the low-frequency world of the outer senses you must appear to be perfect. But as there is nothing important to be in the high-frequency world of the inner senses, no perfection is needed there – neither to feel the empty breath. All that is needed to feel it, while appearing to be in the world of the outer senses, is that you have no intention of making a difference.

When people tell you to slow down and relax via mindfulness and whatnot, they take away your only way to be laid-back, because that comes from speeding up thoughts and feelings until you feel so confused, that you stop trying to control them and therefore no longer are preventing them from igniting a take off to ´the empty breath´, that synchronise the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high frequency world of the inner senses, so that speedy thoughts and feelings are not felt to cause stress but tranquility.

Whatever seems to disturb you in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressful, when the empty breath synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses. Thus you slowly but surely become indifferent to your interpretation of right and wrong.

Once connected with the empty breath – even just for a split second – what you believe to be is undone and the nothingness of you is included in its nothingness, so no matter if you remember it or whatever you seem to think, feel or do, it remains with you. In other words, forgetting the empty breath does not change anything, except that you do not feel the transparent bliss of its indifference until you again ignite a take-off to it.

At times you may feel so angry, that you do not want to be guided by the empty breath, because you know it will make you indifferent to those you blame for having caused the anger, so you actively override its flow* in order to make sure, that they will be punished.

But since we receive what we give, it is you who suffers from the punishment (read more about that here). That is until you have had enough of manipulating the world into what you judge to be right and instead use your frustrations of what seems to be wrong to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference
The nature of the empty breath is not happiness but indifference, and as this releases you from the boundaries of a world defined by time and space, it may feel as if you are in a merry-go-round world.

The empty breath is indifferent to differences, so if you do not fence it off by trying to exclude what you judge as negative in order to appear as if you are only positive, whatever you seem to feel will be interpreted by the indifference of the empty breath. Consequently feeling happy or sad is the same. Not in the sense that happiness and sadness feels the same, but in the sense that the apparent difference makes no difference.

But feelings never last, so if you hang onto pleasant feelings instead of going with the flow of being indifferent to feelings, your merry-go-round world will be replaced by its contrast, which is sadness But this is only so, because you mistook the empty breath for the giver of happiness instead of indifference, so if you stick with the latter, it makes no difference if you feel happy or sad, which is very blissful.

The swing of the inner breath may be experienced abruptly – like in this animation but probably a lot slower – in a s body with muscles problems from for example psoas or diafragma. There is no reason though trying to make it swing more smoothly by improving the condition of the body. The inner breath always adjust itself to the current condition of the body, so no matter how it moves it results in the same joy, providing you are not looking to be perfect.

In a sick body, the swing of the empty breath may be experienced to come in bursts – a bit like in this animation but probably slower. But no matter how restricted the swing of it is experienced, the connection with it will always entail indifference, so if you stick with that the way it is experienced makes no difference. Reasons for not feeling the empty breath
Not feeling the swing of the empty breath may be due to trying too much, focussing on it, or assuming the experience of it will make you feel something special. In these cases you are trying to fabricate a specific feeling yourself, wherefore forever changing connectedness with the empty breath cannot be sensed.

The same applies, if you try to override it* by taking a deep breath, shortening, pushing or holding back your breath every now and then, so there is time enough to make plans by yourself, and thus be established as an autonomous creature with a will of its own.

Basically there is only one reason for not feeling the empty breath, namely that you want to feel it, which is only possible because you believe to be something and not just nothing like the empty breath. In other words, to feel the empty breath you must step aside

The connectedness with the empty breath – either through its transparent sound, the swing of it, surfing its waves, or the sparkling force behind these rhythmic movements – is not a feeling that can be fabricated like for example a romantic evening generated by candles, special clothes, music and red wine. On the contrary. It is felt, when instead of busy trying to produce a specific feeling, the hectic energy is used as a take-off to the empty breath.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So if you not feeling the empty breath multitasking will connect you with it.

The empty breath never feels the same
Even though the empty breath seems to produce a constant rhythm of expansion and contraction in the body, your experience of it may not be that of consistency. And you are right. It is not consistent, and it has no such need. Only those who believe to be somebody definitive has a need to be consistent, and as the empty breath does not believe to be anything at all, it does not need to uphold a consistent image of itself.

The empty breath can be compared to the cats in the home of Alexius. They go around as it pleases them, but he can always count on them to greet him when he gives them a call.

Feeling the empty breath is like receiving a new gift every moment. There is no way, however, to know what the gift is before receiving it, neither do you need to know, because you are in a state of not-knowing.

The energy at the root of the inner breath may be experienced a bit like this, but in less defined forms and colors.

Likewise, he can always count on the empty breath, and even though it only moves on its own accord, it is always to be felt in one way or the other. Maybe he experiences to be going up and down on a single wave several times in a row, where after he may feel the swing of it inside of his head, and then continue to surf of both of the yin-yang looking waves.

After igniting a take-off to the empty breath, he mostly lands in its very fast and chaotic energy at the root of it, which feels like freedom compared to the rigid world of the outer senses. Going to bed it may be the transparency of its sound that comes to him. But first of all he simply feels the indifference of the empty breath, and since that means the apparent differences in the world does not appear to make a difference, it is hardly a feeling.

Using other duality hacks to get to the indifference of the empty breath
As any other Duality Hack except the enlightenment of that which is one induces a state of not-knowing, you can use one or more of the those, if you have problems connecting with the empty breath.

No matter which of them or how many you apply, you will end up in a state of not-knowing, which always is the same in the sense that it entails an indifference to the belief in being someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to experience nothing as if it is something, so you are in the transparent bliss of nothing.

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath is not something definitive, it cannot be felt in a specific way. Yet it can be felt anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body, where you believe to be – but never constantly the same, although it is constantly there.

The empty breath can be felt in many different ways within its non-definable framework of a ball like thingy, that passes through the head – or above it – and the stomach or below it. Yet it is not experienced in relation to the body and what seems to be inside or outside of it, because the empty breath does not of anything definitive.

This is not because the empty breath experience everything in a world where there seems to be more than one to be spiritual, but that nothing is experienced to be there, since experiences is a hallucination made from out of nothing. Read more about that here.

Having an out-of-body experience is based on the belief that you are someone in a body, which is the opposite of the experience that comes from the connectedness with the empty breath, as it undoes the belief that you are someone definitive. See also the article Believing to be in or outside the body is equally insane.

Thus the connectedness with the empty breath is not an out-of-body experience, but a no-body experience. This does not mean, however, that you do not take care of the body, your beloved ones and whatnot when connected with the empty breath, but that it makes no difference, if doing so seems to pay off or not.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears to be disturbing, but trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying is delaying, so you want to be disturbed.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else that is in a fixed position. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience of it changes from moment to moment from as if it is in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside the body. So if your experience differ from the descriptions in this article, go with flow as it comes to you.

Feelings are subjective
If you are very future minded the empty breath may be felt as coming from somewhere in front of you, whereas being minded about the past it may be felt to come from the back. And if you are into the concepts of living in the now, being centred and balanced, it may be felt as it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of it is coloured by own your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath, because contrary to you it has no need to be acknowledged in a specific way. So whether you experience it in the stomach, the chest, inside or outside of the body it carries out its one and only purpose, namely to make you indifferent to the apparent different experiences in the world where you believe to be.

As the empty breath is not static, the experience of it may change from moment to moment and you may experience it in other ways than described in this article.

No worries. Feeling the empty breath is not about approaching it in the right way, but going with the flow. It is only in the world of the outer senses, you must to do the right thing, so you can feel better than those judged to do the wrong thing.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to this indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

A basic intro to the non-definitive form of the empty breath
The empty breath has the form of an egg-shaped ball with lots of oval circles moving inside it, but contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Neither do the circles inside of it, and there are so many that there is no space between them. Nor are they empty. Each one of them contains two yin yang like waves, looking a bit like in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that the edges of it are blurry but that neither its size or shape is constant. It may grow bigger and smaller here and there, so that it momentarily feels to be more pear-shaped than egg-shaped.

As there is no up and down in the empty breath, the biggest part of the pear-shaped version of it may seem to be in the top as well as in the bottom, or in the sides or anywhere in between. And as the apparent centre of each one of the oval circles appearing to be inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath are floating around, there is no fixed centre.

Even though there appear to be an endless amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath, and they are moving in each their own direction with each their own yin yang like formed waves moving inside them, they are actually fused into one movement of two yin yang like waves moving in all directions – at bit like in the next animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or in the two last animations of this article.

But as the above is very difficult to comprehend in a world where life seems to be divided into more than one, most will probably not feel the totality of the empty breath, but one of the many circles that seems to make up the empty breath, if you are conditioned to divide reality in more than one. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow, as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre and though it seems to consists of many different movements in each their own size and shape, everything is actually fused into one singular movement. As this may be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one it is most likely easier to experience to experience an aspect of it.

For most the flow will be to circle from the abdomen or stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head or above it when breathing in, and from there going in a circular movement in front the body back to the stomach or abdomen when breathing out.

It can also be felt the other way around. The direction does not matter. It is all about going with the flow, which in this circular movement feels like surfing the empty breath. Another way straight forward way of experiencing it is to sense the swing of it, which contrary to surfing it is rather a feeling of having two very soft sticks swinging inside the body – up and down and back and forth at the same time. Be aware though, that feeling the empty breath as described in this article is only possible to the extent that you do not you care about being or having more of anything, whether that appears to be spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic, because the empty breath has not something to give but the transparent bliss of nothing.

A basic intro to the ways of feeling the empty breath
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below paragraph of the same name) or the indifference of it (check out the paragraph The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference) is a state of not-knowing where you seem to be floating on clouds of bliss, whereas the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of it is more like if you are moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythm of the empty breath can be heard as a distant sound (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the paragraph The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin yang like waves inside and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

Each of the non definable circles inside the non definable ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consist of two yin yang like looking waves (but without the two holes), that are not fixated and probably moves in sync with the breath – or rather the breath moves in sync with them. It is therefore not so much about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath, which may feel like you are surfing the outside of the two yin yang like waves more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

Surfing the empty breath
The illustration above to the right shows a very simplified simulation of the empty breath in which you are not able to see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does it reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre and each of the circles inside it contains two non-definitive waves like in the above image, that can be surfed. Please notice that although the waves looks like the two parts of an yin yang sign, they have no holes. And as they actually are colourless, the colours in the images and all the others this article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the body is expanded by the breath, you surf the outside of the yellow wave, that starts from the abdomen or below it and then go behind the body into the head or on top of it. From there you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body, while the breath is contracting the body, until you come back to the abdomen or below it. That is if you are sensing the waves in a circle going from the back to the front of the body.

Besides surfing the waves in that circle, you can surf the waves in a circle going from the left to the right side of the body and in circles anywhere in between these. No matter what circle you are surfing, you mostly feel the waves in the circular movement outside the body.

It is not about being in total synch with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, neither does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped.What matters is to follow the flow as it comes to you, as that makes you forget the physical breath, so it can take care of itself without any interruption from you being stressed or trying to impose ideas of balance, tranquillity and whatnot upon it.

Maybe the most joyous way to surf the flow of the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue going the whole way around the other one, more or less in accordance with the breath extracting and contracting the body. There may be more joyous ways revealed to you, when following the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outer senses, so that following the flow of the two yin-yang like waves feels like surfing them is an imagination of his.

You can also surf the opposite way than described in the above. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so this might speed up undoing the belief in being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies, if the the non-definable edges of the empty breath is not experienced to touch the body but passes it on top of the head and below the abdomen, as that means there is no relation to the body when surfing it.

Thus you are set free from the body (read more about this here), and the body is set free from you, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to control it in accordance with the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection, which is not possible. Just like you cannot import physical elements in a dream or vice versa. This, does of course not mean, that you should refrain from consulting a qualified health care professional, who can assist in supporting the biological system of the body.

You cannot be someone definitive, when going with the flow of the empty breath, so the belief in being someone separated from the formlessness of that which is one is slowly but surely being undone.

As already said, there is no right way of being with the empty breath. Unlike in the world of the outer senses, where a wrong movement can be fatal, there is no right way of going with the flow of the empty breath, so no need to bother about the right way of  doing it. Besides going with the flow of the empty breath, you will soon be indifferent to what is right or wrong.

Going with the flow without knowing where and why.

Generally speaking you will, as already stated, mostly feel the flow of the waves in one circle – probably the one going from the back to the front of the body or the other way around – but you can also jump from circle to circle or feel them all simultaneously. It is not important. Neither is it important to know all this.

As it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that feeling something is possible, so the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

Alexius was not aware of the empty breath in such a detailed way as described in this article, before he started writing what the empty breath feels like and therefore took a closer look upon it. Normally he just follow the flow without thinking about direction and whatnot, because in his case the flow mostly results in a sense of indifference.

But if you want, it is possible to be a bit more choosy than he is. If you seem to have problems with the past or have a back pain that may benefit from being massaged by the empty breath, you may want to surf both sides of a wave in the back of you.

Should you need to be grounded, you could choose to surf a wave passing the abdomen. And if you feel the need to be intuitive or fact minded (the right or left side of the brain), you could surf one of the waves going sideways in relation to the body. Sideways around the chest could be fine if you have one of these hollow ones, that restricts the breath.

There are many possibilities, but in general it is best not to choose anything, and to go with the flow as it comes to you, because that sets the body free to heal itself. Read more about that here. Neither is it commendable to catch all the details about the empty breath in this article, as an intellectual understanding will not help you to feeling the connectedness with the empty breath. On the contrary.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is not possible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath, because it has no definable form or movement. This animation, however, may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels as if it is coming from a non-definitive curved line, that is to be compared to the line in between the two forms of an yin and yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in an yin yang sign the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but rather a non-definable ball, wherein there are many non-definable circles with each their own curved line. Depending on where a one of these circles are experienced to be located in regards to the standard definitions of directions the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately the animation is not really illustrating this, neither that though the swing of it is extremely powerful, the experience of it may be that it is in no hurry to expand and contract the body.

The swing of the empty breath
What is said in the above about surfing the empty breath generally speaking also apply to feeling the swing of it, except that it is felt solely inside the body, where the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two waves is sensed as a swing, that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Due to the limited size of the body though, this line is felt less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described in the above.

The steady swing of the empty breath, may seem to expand and contract the body slower than when you imagined being in charge of breathing. Yet the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed, that at first it feels like the body does not have enough room for it. Maybe the break in between expansion and contraction also feels too long.

Just like surfing the empty breath can be done with any of the circles within the non-definitive borderline of the empty breath, the swing of it can be felt through the movement of the curved line floating in the middle of any one of these circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front in relation to the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, as you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it may be so foreign to you that you probably prefer following the swing of the empty breath in one circle at a time.

Alexius experiences the swing of the empty breath merged into one simultaneously movement, that feels like no movement at all, when listening to the opening of the opera ´Ahhnaten´ by Philip Glass.

If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all its directions simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as everything is spinning – see the speedy animation just below – but it quickly turns into a feeling of everything standing still – see the third image from here – so you feel breathless and the bliss of being indifferent to whatever you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm, that with much force expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle and probably seems to be slower than you are used to – unlike the driving force behind the rhythm of the empty breath, that is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball of it. And even though the particles of this force is moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos, as that prevents you from focussing on anything specific, so you feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

The operator of the empty breath
Besides from feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing on the outer sides of two yin yang like waves in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy at the root of the empty breath is not in line with the rhythm of the breath. Yet it is the force behind it. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here, there and everywhere or as if spinning through a world with no limits.

There are no rules, but it could very well be, that a take-off to ´the empty breath´ will take you to this aspect of the empty breath … and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit in the rigid world of the outer senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath but like surfing its waves, this force is felt both inside and outside of the body. It is probably easier to feel its very subtle energy outside of the body, because there the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch it, but go with its fleetness, it feels like you are a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you may be transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of the empty breath.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where the operator of it resides and where you most likely land after igniting the empty breath, is therefore a good starting point, when you want to feel the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you out of habit try to focus on the empty breath in order to hear the transparent sound of it (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, your effort to pinpoint it will fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach tits rhythmic flow and transparent sound of it is therefore to start in the chaos at the root of the empty breath – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all around it – as that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, wherefore there is not something definitive blocking out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

The transparent sound of the empty breath
Just like the rhythm of a bass is not only heard but also felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ´so´ when it expands the body and ´ham´ when contracting it.

Sometimes this rhythmic sound of ´so-ham´ seems to come from the nose and sometimes from an undefined space in the back of the head. But since there does not seem to be any boundaries, the sound neither is experienced to be inside or outside the head. At other times it seems to come from a distant space outside the body, as if the breath has nothing to do with your appearance in a body.

Feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a powerful experience like feeling the rhythm of a bass, because it cancels out the feeling of being in a specific body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa for example does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it.

This is basically due to the brain not being able to create a conscious experience of the signals it claims to receive from the sensory system of the body, when you are connected with the empty breath (read more about that here), wherefore there is nobody to divide them into judgments of inside and outside, good and bad, high and low, me and them and so on. Hence the apparent differences in the experience of in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference.

Since this means there is nothing to define such a world, it becomes obvious it is not real but a fantasy made from out of nothing. But just like the reality in the world of a game is the same whether you believe it to be real or not, the reality of a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same, when you sense it is an illusion. Your relation with it, however, is forever changed. There is nobody to believe you are someone definitive there, because it is something you pretend (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body ends.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath as it manifests in the swing or transparent sound of the empty breath, as otherwise it is the end of you when the body stops to function. In that moment it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in the operator of empty breath, so that there is not something specific to stop the enlightenment of that which is one from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath you may naturally float into glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which the visual minded will experience as visions of light and the auditory minded as ethereal harmonies. If you are more emotional minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises or taste the sweetness of life.

These glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, for example the visual aspect of it, will merge into one, if not interpreted as something specific. Hence there is no experience of that which is you being different from that which is one, so nothing seems to hide there never was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

The empty breath is not an appearance that can be manifested by the manipulating the physical breath or by exercising any other form of control.

Hearing or feeling the empty breath is not something that can be provoked by the execution of specific exercises. It is the other way around. When you are not looking for something specific, the empty breath can move on its own accord.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say, that techniques cannot be helpful in regards to tone down the experience of you as someone definitive, so that the apparent existence of you in the tangible world fabricated by the brain does not seem to be a fact but make-believe. Unfortunately most forget, that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like a remote control have nothing to do with the music it triggers.

As the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing there is no awareness of separation. Hence the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing
Alexius does not really know what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like, because it is a state of not-knowing. However, for the purpose of writing about it, he had many short moments of the empty breath ignited, so that he from the vague memories of those could write what it felt like.

The empty breath is not only to be experienced within its border, because it has no specific border, so if you are experiencing it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, because only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Remember that just like the experience of an orgasm is a very personal thing, so is the experience of the connectedness with the empty breath, even though what you experience is not personal and that you actually have no consciousness about it, since the connection is establish half a second before a conscious experience of you as someone definitive is fabricated by the brain. Read more about that here.

In the resulting state of not-knowing what and where you are, which lasts until you insist that the apparent differences registered by the brain make a difference and you therefore must be someone separated from what you see. Until then there is nobody to experience, how blissful it is not believing to be someone definitive.

In other words, the feelings of the empty breath are memories, that pop up when you again believe to be someone definitive. And as memories are based on a very personal selection, your memories may be coloured in another way than in the above descriptions based on the memories of Alexius.

If not thrusting this article or anything else, including your judgment of this and that, there is nothing to define who is reading this. Thus there is not someone definitive covering the transparent bliss of nothingness.

Let us imagine, your eyes are covered by your hand, so you can indulge in a daydream about a better tomorrow without being disturbed. Though it feels great to be in your own fantasy, it also feels disturbing to be shut out from the world right in front of you.

Then you slowly start sensing, it is your own hand that hides where you actually are, and without really knowing why you suddenly take it away.

In other words, it is the built up pressure and a change of purpose from daydreaming to being present, which makes you see it is your own hand, that hides where you are, so you automatically remove it.

As soon as you have had enough of the frustrations coming from the belief in being someone definitive, a take-off to the empty breath is automatically ignited.

It happens much faster than reading this sentence. Yet it takes a few more seconds to stop your conditioned way of breathing, which probably is based on forcing it through the tensions of the body caused by your suppression of feelings. That is not necessary for the empty breath, because it does not notice them.

Patiently waiting for this, the flow of the empty breath sets off from the abdomen, as if it is generated from an engine there and solely is inside the body, which you can read more about here, where after it continues without any regards to the apparent borders of the body like it is described here.

If not focused but defocused, all the elements used to construct what is believed to be to be you blurs out. Hence they do not seem to block out, that the empty breath is no different from the nothingness of you. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Having had enough ignites a take-off to the empty breath
In some ways the above process resembles the way a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. You have been hiding in your own story of a world defined by time and space.

The story is made up from thoughts and feelings, you have sought out and organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary, which is shared with like-minded ones, so you appear to be part of something important with a plot so special, that the story seems to be hiding everything in it as well as the storyteller is made up from nothing, because thoughts and feelings are not real but an illusion fabricated by the brain from out of empty space. Though thoughts are just frequencies of empty space and therefore basically all alike, they are identified to differ from each other and as they are created by you, despite what is believed to be you is nothing but a construction of thoughts, that based on the thoughts, judged to differ from each other, is considered to be a unique and self-aware being capable of feeling love and whatnot. Read more about this here.

The exact moment you have had enough from the frustration coming from your story not delivering what the plot implied should be your fate, the selected thoughts and feelings making up the story do not seem to be able to establish the apparent differences in the story to make a difference, wherefore its nothingness is exposed. Not in the sense that you see nothing, but that what you see means nothing.

In other words, when you are fed up with your story of a world defined by time and space and do not try to deny, improve or transcend it, your frustration ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

You may not only sense the bare feet making the foot prints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no body in the image, neither does anybody make foot prints like these. Thus what you sense is a construction of thoughts.* The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does know what you believe to be, because it is a fantasy made from empty space. Thus it is only you and those you imagine being in this fantasy world, that deem you to be someone substantial in a tangible world.

This does not mean, that what you believe to is transformed by the empty breath into something better or it is lifting you to somewhere higher. But that it takes away what you believe to be, so there is no consciousness to seek out thoughts and feelings, wherefore there is nothing but the bliss of nothingness, which can be experienced in the ways described here. It may also lead to glimpses of enlightenment, that is either seen, heard, felt or tasted as described here.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive, as it is empty space unprocessed by the brain. As a result of this it is noticed, if you want to experience something specific.

Since you are in a state of not-knowing, there is no awareness of its bliss, before memories of it pop up when you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, which must be done latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing, if you want to remain as someone in a world defined by time and space. Read more about that here.

Be warned though, that when returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone definitive, you may not be recognised in the way you expect, wherefore you comment very bitterly on those, you blame for the lack of recognition or maybe scapegoats from your past or famous people believed to be fake.

No worries. First of all, most likely it is not others but you, who have a hard time recognising that you are someone definitive, because a state of not-knowing rubs of on the certainty of that.

Secondly, grievances can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, provided they are not suppressed by justifying them with the world but acknowledged as yours. Here you can read more about how the acknowledgment of feelings unveil their nothingness of bliss.

Yet, whatever has been suppressed can also be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you totally acknowledge the suppression. In other words, fully being whatever you feel in this moment ignites a take-off to the empty breath, regardless if you know what you feel and why.

When you are totally fed up with being controlled by the thoughts and feelings, you have sought out to form a belief system of how to be, the system is automatically left. Not in the sense that you give up, let be or surrender, but in the sense that without the system you are not definable as someone definitive. Igniting a take-off to the empty breath is not a matter of what and where you appear to be spiritually, mentally, emotionally or physically, nor whether you deny or indulge in sex or anything else. All what matters is that you are so fed up from obeying the specific thoughts and feelings, you have compiled into a special belief system of what is good and bad, so you reject being a slave of this belief system.

»When you dig into molecules, and the states of ion channels, enzymes, transcription programs, cells, synapses, and whole networks of neurons, you come to realise that there is no one place in the brain where memories are stored,« says Kukushkin. This is because of a property called plasticity, the feature of neurons that memorize. The memory is the system itself. From an article in Wired.

This belief system is the ego, which is made when you as the self created by the brain change it into something believed to be better by selecting special thoughts and feelings that you assume will make you spiritual, live in the now, come from the heart and whatnot. Contrary to the self created by the brain the self-made ego does not know what is in your own best interest, so you are always faced by trouble when following your own way instead of the brain, as it is there to support the self it has created with happiness.**

What you believe to be and see is fabricated by the brain, so when it runs out of oxygen there is no more to be and see. Fortunately this fabrication of you as someone with a beginning and an end is easily bypassed, because it is made from out of nothing. The animation is grabbed from the web.

As justifying a feeling entraps it in the body and therefore suppresses its energy, it cannot be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. To set it free you do not have to know what it is you have suppressed and why.

You just need to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feelings unveiled as nothing twisted into something, so that you, who also is nothing, can appear to be someone definitive.

To sum it up, being really fed up with the tyranny of the ego, which is self-imposed since, there is suddenly nobody to follow its instructions of how everything is experienced in the right way. So though the experiences of right and wrong is the same, there is not someone perceiving them to make a difference.

Consciousness is a fabrication of the brain done with the purpose of keeping you occupied with the awareness of something, so that the nothingness of your existence is not exposed.

This does not mean, you have an experience of being at one, as only someone who believes to be a separated can have an experience of something. It is rather like having a dream in which there is no difference between the experiencer and the experienced. Yet there is no one knowing this, because you are in a state of not-knowing. See also Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

The uncontrolled speed of any disturbing or intensely pleasant event will ignite a take-off to the bliss, that comes from being in the of indifference of the empty breath. So if you are confused about how to connect with it, do not try to clear up the turmoil but be so confused, that there is nothing else than that and therefore not something to define you, wherefore the speed of nothingness ignites a take-off to the bliss of nothingness, that the empty breath entails.

Not interfering with the speed of thoughts and feelings, they are set free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that syncs the worlds of the outer and inner senses, wherefore everything definable, like stress for example, is absorbed by the high frequency world of the inner senses. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

Uncontrolled chaos ignites a take-off to the empty breath
If you have not had enough from being a victim of your selected thoughts and feelings structured into a system of right and wrong, that you simply ignore this apparent difference, the thoughts and feelings entrapped by the belief system will try to escape it.

Should you succeed in making order in this mess by making up a new system believed to be more spiritual, thoughts and feelings may be kept in line when awake, but when at sleep and outside of your control they will not leave you at rest.

But if you do not try to stop thoughts and feelings, when they try to escape your control, they are free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that in less than a split second syncs the apparent stress and chaos in the world of the outer senses with the world of the inner senses in which everything moves so fast and unorganised, that nothing is definable.***

As feeling upset is unveiled to be nothing but a cover up for the transparency of bliss, you no longer need to avoid certain people or situations in order not to be bothered by them. Neither do you have a need to please those persons, who seem to cause happiness. In fact you do not need anything from the world, except what the body needs to survive.

This has nothing do with psychotherapy, as it is about rebuilding yourself by and not blaming somebody else for your feelings but embracing them, as this enhances the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it. Besides, blaming something or somebody for what you feel is one of the fastest way to get fed up with your own belief system and thus bypassing it. Read more about that here.

If you do not share your frustrations or joy with anybody but are being it all by yourself, you are not acknowledging a world where there seems to be more than one, wherefore it cancels itself out as if it is something and thus exposed nothing, which is pure bliss

This does not mean that you should let your feelings out or in any way share them, neither via an inner dialogue with what you consider to be yourself and others, nor should you keep them inside, but totally be them until the pressure of being alone is so unbearable, that you automatically leave the belief system causing you to appear as if you are separated from others, wherefore you are not somebody but nobody and thus in the transparent bliss of nothing.

When you are nobody, there is not somebody to be bothered about anything. Consequently only those who want to be somebody have a need for meditation or other techniques to stop or control the thoughts that disturbs what they believe to be.

In the connectedness with the empty breath, you are indifferent to differences, and thus also to being someone definitive. That is why there is not somebody with a need to seek out thoughts in order to be defined as someone definitive by them. Hence there are no thoughts that need to be stopped or controlled via meditation or any other technique. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connectedness with the empty breath is neither about meditating, chanting or applying other techniques of self-control, because the on and off connectedness with it makes you indifferent to differences and thus to the apparent difference between you and others, wherefore there is no self to define and thus nobody to care about stopping or controlling thoughts.

Judgements about somebody being wrong justifies feeling angry. And judging somebody to be special justifies feeling joy. It also makes it look, as if it is the world that defines you to be someone definitive. The same applies, if you share specific thoughts and/or feelings with others in a dialogue that appears to be inside or outside yourself. Read more about this here.

Fortunately you do not have to stop this in order to undo the belief in being someone definitive, because if justifications are acknowledged, the energy that they have suppressed is set free, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. Completely being what you feel ignites a take-off to the empty breath
A take-off to the empty breath is also ignited, when what you feel in this very moment is not suppressed by justifying it with the world but instead totally acknowledged via the completely being what you feel and nothing else, as that means there is not something to contrast what you are, and therefore nothing to define it, wherefore ´you´ are in a state of not-knowing.

That being said, blaming somebody else for what you feel can be a great way of seeing, what you have excluded from yourself (read more about that here), so you can include it by completely being it, which leaves nothing to contrast it and therefore not something to define you, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. In other words, it is not require that you restrain yourself, and if you do, being that restriction completely annuls it and thus ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

When the fear of the unknown is fully acknowledged by totally being it, what seemed to be something, that had the power to frighten you, is unveiled as nothing. Thus what is unveiled is neither hell or heaven but the transparency of bliss.

The avoidance of a feeling makes it appear to be something that is dangerous, whereas the acknowledgement of it unveils it is nothing and that the absence of something is blissful. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware, that fully acknowledging feelings can at first be felt like a trip to hell, because once you start opening up for suppressed feelings, everything that you ever have avoided to feel starts popping up. And until those feelings are fully acknowledged one by one or all at once by acknowledging their common denominator, namely fear of the hell, it may feel as if having panic attacks or endless despair and depression.

All those who like to talk about emotions are not into feeling them but to control them, because if something is totally felt, it is unveiled as nothing, wherefore there is nothing to talk about.

As it most likely is too fearful to acknowledge hell at once by being nothing but that it is probably  a process over time, where the on and off connection with the empty breath slowly but surely makes you indifferent to the apparently different of feelings you are experiencing, wherefore no specific feeling can bother you anymore. In The acknowledgment of a feeling unveils its nothingness of bliss you can read more about this, and in The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´ there is more about how to totally be a specific feeling, so that it becomes indefinable and therefore is unveiled as nothing but transparent bliss.

That applies to the fear of death as well. Just like everything else experienced as something, it is the bliss of nothing. This does not mean that death is the ultimate solution – especially not if performed by yourself, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive. There is no solution in a world where there seems to be more than one but to have the nothingness of it unveiled. This includes whatever is deemed to be spiritual.

As any construction of thoughts can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, and as a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but a construct of thoughts, there is nothing in it that cannot be used be used for that.

The way Picasso learned to paint was by replicating traditional art, which he did until he was so good at it, that he could forget the techniques and go with the flow of the brush. But there is nobody to replicate in regards to connecting with the empty breath, because its flow is that of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Not knowing anything ignites a take-off to the empty breath
We normally learn something new by replicating somebody else. That is how we learned to talk and walk. Connecting with the empty breath, however, is not about learning but unlearning, so the purpose of this and the other articles in hack #4.4 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not to learn something but to unlearn everything you believe to know – including your ideas about spirituality.

The ocean is what it is, despite what it seems. So is that which I am.

This also applies to reading Alexius experiences of the empty breath in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?. They are not meant to be replicated but to give you an idea of what it is to be an empty vessel for the empty breath.

The reason Alexius so often is as an empty vessel for the empty breath is that he really does not know what and where he is. Neither do you or anybody else know what and where you are. Yet you are most likely working very hard to convince every one that you are not nobody but somebody.

Trouble always follows in the footsteps of being somebody, whereas it is nothing but bliss that comes in the wake of being nobody.

If you stop doing that, there is nothing to obstruct the empty breath from being activated as an automatic gear change between the inner and outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses become the basis for how you perceive the world of the outer senses, namely as a fantasy made by nobody from out of nothing.***

In order to appear as if he is someone substantial in a tangible world, Alexius has to adjust to its apparent reality wearing sun glasses and whatnot. That being said, as long as we appear to be somebody in a fantasy world that appears to be substantial, we cannot be nobody all the time. Alexius, for example, must adjust to the fantasy as if he is someone substantial, so that the experiences fabricated by his brain can be used to formulate the non teachings in the collectively agreed way of how communication is done in English. But in order to write them he must be nobody, because their language is that of nothing.

Read Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings until you are so empty, that a take-off to the empty breath automatically is ignited – or you are so tired of reading, that you forget to control yourself, wherefore uncontrolled energy spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This is why you automatically are connected with the empty breath, when you do not know what and where you are, so go on reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings until forgetting it is a spontaneously process of not going for something but nothing and thus automatically entering a state of not-knowing.

Exclusiveness results in you appearing to be someone definitive, but since that feels restricting, there is always a desire for more. Inclusiveness on the other hand results in nothing and thus no desire for more. Hence inclusiveness ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of nothingness. In other words, fragmenting this animation into what you like and do not like will further define you as someone definitive and therefore enhance the feeling of something is missing, whereas the complete inclusion of it is your ticket to the bliss of nothingness.

Implementing other hacks to ignite a take-off to the empty breath

The same applies to seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality (see hack #2.1 Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality and hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), and pretending to be someone (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings does not give you anything, because that which is you is no different from that which is one, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is nothing else to have than the formlessness of oneness. Hence you are mistaken, if you believe to be and have more than that which is one. No worries. The duality hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings correct this mistake by erasing every memory of what you believe to have. The animation is grabbed from the web.

The Duality Hacks and that which is you
There is no reason to laboriously learn all the hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them are a goal in themselves – neither do they lead to the goal, because you are already there.

That which is you is no different from that which is one, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is you.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of the duality hacks is not to return to that which is one, but exposing what seems to hide it, namely the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

And as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, when connected with the empty breath, the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is slowly but surely falling apart the more you are connected with it.

NOTES: 

The difference between one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one and one who is not

When you see a movie, you forget it is not real, and you seem to go, where the movie takes you.

When we watch a movie, we forget it is not real, and for a while we seem to go where the movie takes us, although we do not really believe to be there. Unfortunately though most seem to have forgotten, that the movie called The World is not real. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The unenlightened sees differences everywhere – so does one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, but to the latter they do not make a difference.

The unenlightened is full of thoughts, that they assume are made by themselves and therefore represent the specific personality, they believe to have. In one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, there is also many thoughts, but there is no ´I´ with a need to pick them up and put them together in such a way, that it seems they belong to someone specific – and so thoughts are just passing by like birds in the sky.

This does not mean, that one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one observes the thoughts passing by. Not all, when an angry thought is passing by, he/she is angry – nothing more or less. And when a thought of compassion passes by, he/she is nothing but compassion in that moment.

Mistakes can be corrected
The only real difference between the unenlightened and the enlightened seems to be that the enlightened – metaphorically speaking – knows, where the river goes, so there is no need to search for something. Instead he/she can really enjoy all aspects of the roller coaster ride it feels to be following the flow of the river.

Everybody in the roller coaster is heading to the sea – and if you do not see yourself and everybody else there, you must be mistaken. No worries though – a mistake can easily be corrected. That is, if you acknowledge you are mistaken.

Reappearing from death knowing nothing but oneness is not real

All thoughts appearing to be you has to be left at the moment of death, if it is to serve as a portal to that which is one, so if they are picked up again in order to return to a world where there seems to be more than one, the person you appear to be will not have anything to tell about that which is one, because this person was not there. I do not know the stories from those telling about their experience of death. Yet I know, that if they have much to say, it is not death but near-death, they are talking about – and that has nothing to do with death. It cannot be experienced, because if you are dead there is nobody to experience it.

Tunnels of light seems to be a common near-death experience, which often is used to prove, that you are on a spiritual journey. The tunnels of light, however, are just a result of the brain not having enough oxygen to produce the images of a world as you expect it to look, so instead it produces something abstract based on common second-hand knowledge stored in your subconsciousness.

It has nothing to do with spirituality, which is the formlessness of that which is one and consequently cannot be seen, as it requires more than one to see something. That is why the personality at the moment of death metaphorically speaking must be left at the entrance to oneness, so that there is nothing to enter it and therefore no awareness of having been there, if the personality is picked up again and again to a body that appears to be you in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The formlessness of oneness has no size – and what is sizeless has no beginning or end. In other words, there is no more than that which is one, so a world where there seems to be more than one does not exist. This cannot be comprehended by those believing to be someone definitive, as to them only what can be measured does exist.

There are, however, vague memories of the formlessness of that which is one, and due to these memories it feels, as if dying from a world where there seems to be more than one and return to it again from that which is one is to have the slate wiped clean – or like the machinery of the body has been rebooted.

First time I thought, I would become like those spaced-out persons considering themselves to be very spiritual. But after each reboot I reappeared with a much stronger sense of the body – not because I believe to be in it, but because, that which I am is not in the world at all, and knowing that, it is so easy to pretend being something bodily like Alexius.

There is no spirituality in a world where there seems to be more than one
At the few so-called spiritual lectures that I have ever attended, the lecturers entertained the audience with stories and conclusions based on a single extraordinary experience from their past, that they seemed to think had changed them into something spiritual. Also based on this experience they seemed to be convinced, that it is possible to fuse physicality and spirituality, which is just as absurd as saying, it is possible to always have day and night at the same time in the same place.

Just like a computer cannot contain the physical world except in a simulated version twisted into two-dimensional or fake 3D images, a world where there seems to be more than one cannot contain that which is one, except in a twisted version of something that appears to be identifiably by what and where it is in time and space. Infinity becomes a thing, that is relative to finite – as if infinity is something extremely big.

Spirituality is the formlessness of that which is one. What is formless is endless. In other words, there is no more than that which is one, so if you are reading this, you must be mistaken. The experience of an article and that you are having it is an illusion. Yet this illusion is only possible to experience due to that which is one, as there is no more than that, so if you stop believing what you experience is real, all what is left is that which is one.

The title is not invented by Alexius. He has just replicated it from a movie. Nor is the rest of the article thought up by him. He cannot think. Thoughts are passing by like frequencies are passing by a radio, which picks up and transmits those it is tuned into. In this article Alexius transmits the following thoughts:

They meditate, chant, drink, take drugs or in other ways do something to alter their perception of the present moment so they can avoid being in touch with the feelings the moment seems to bring about. But when they do something to escape their feelings, the cause of doing this is reinforced, so the more they try to avoid their feelings, the more they are bothered by them.

This is not to say that you should stop that. By all means, go ahead and suppress as much as you want through meditation and whatnot – or stop doing it, if you like. Whatever you seem to think, feel or do is a fantasy because what and where you believe to be is not real.

Just like it also is a fantasy to appear as if you are someone in a video game. Everything in its world is virtual. There is nothing to realise or learn except that the light from the sun is as artificial as the light from the electric bulbs and what you appear to be.

You think you are reading this article now, but actually, you are reading an edited version of what you read one second ago because the brain has spent one second on filtering and interpreting that in such a way, so it appears to be coherent with what you believe is your own point of view.

Hence the reason you see coherence and consistency in the world around you is that the brain has filtered what you see so that it seems to be in accordance by what and where you believe to be, which is the sum of selected memories stored in the brain. In other words, what and where you appear to be is the brain. Read more about that here.

You know carnival is an illusion, and that´s exactly what makes it so fun to pretend to be a person in in it.

If reading this makes you want to know what is really going on, and you decide to see the unfiltered and therefore authentic version of the world, you are still caught in the same game of the brain, namely that there is something to find where there is nothing. It is like looking for something in the world of Super Mario. There is nothing real there.

Besides, it is not what you believe to be but the brain that fabricates a filtered view of the world, and just like a dream is beyond your control so is the fantasy made by the brain. There is nothing you can change except your perception of it. See hack #1.4 You cannot change the world, but you can change your perception of it.

So if the way the brain filters your experience of the world is perceived to be upsetting, you change the perception into something enjoyable. You probably consider this as cheating, if you believe what and where you appear to be real, but if not, no matter what and where the brain makes you seem to be, it is like being entertained by a magician. You know everything he does is an illusion.

If you do not know that, look closer, because the closer you look, the more you see he is fooling you into believing that what he does is real.

There is nothing to fear in a that which is one, as it requires more than one to fear something

The more you built up the personality, so that it appears as if you are someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one, the more you fear loosing what you laboriously have pieced together and turn into nobody. That is, until you see that being nobody is fearless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As it takes more than one to realise something, it is not possible to realise, that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one. Yet it is possible to realise, it is not possible to be and have more than the formlessness of that which is one.

No matter how much more you appear to become and have in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are bound to lose it. Hence you actually have nothing but the fear of loosing everything.

As it takes more than one to have something, you have nothing at all in the formlessness of that which is one. But as formlessness is endless, having nothing is having everything. And since it requires more than one to lose something, you can never lose it. Hence there is nothing to fear. This fearlessness though is not accomplished by avoiding to be or have more in a world where there seems to be more than one. That is just another way of being and having more.

But being indifferent to what you appear to be and have, there is not someone being or having anything. Thus becoming and getting more in such a world can be enjoyed without the fear of losing it. In other words, you are indifferent to what you appear to be and have in a world where there seems to be more than one, when not being exclusive but inclusive, because that leaves nothing to define you as someone in such a world.

Another way to undo the belief in being someone definitive is to see everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, there is no time and space to separate them.

Even though a fantasy depends on reality, it does not relate to it, so it can never be fenced in by that which is real. That is why it is possible to fantasize about a world where there seems to be more than one, even though reality is that which is one.

It is not possible though to make the fantasy real, because that which is one is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

In other words, there is nobody but you having a fantasy about a world where there seems to be more than one, and so it does not matter what you appear to be.

Joy comes from not knowing what and where you are

The story of a person is mostly a sad one – and fear based as well. In order to be in balance and not miss out on anything a person reacts to everything as if it  is driving a car with the brakes on – assuming that going slow there is more time to understand and process life.

Yet looking for more of anything does not result in joy but stress, whereas releasing the brake is pure joy, because that comes from driving so fast, that there is no time to define what and where you are.

The excitement of believing to be someone definitive versus the peace of nothing but the formlessness of oneness

If you think, you are in joyful mood because of the sunset or the sensation of the wind touching your warm body, you are justifying the feeling of joy and thereby dissociating yourself from it in proportion to how much it is justified to be caused by something perceived to be outside of you.

This you probably choose in order to distance yourself from being too joyful, because that would blow you away, so there would not be nobody left to control your appearance as sexy and good-looking in the sunset – or in the future setups you have planned to be staged in as someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Formlessness is that which is one, because if it was more than one, it would not be formless. And that is why it is nothing but peace.

In other words, the imagination of being someone definitive seems more exciting than the peace of formlessness, which cannot be imagined, neither experienced, since it takes more than one to imagine or experience something and what is formless cannot be more than one.

Those who believe to be somebody interesting only care for those, who can make them appear more interesting. That means they only care for illusions, because life is not interesting, since it that which is one and it takes more than one to be interesting. So be happy, when nobody seems to be interested in you.

But as formlessness is endless and therefore everything, whatever is imagined or experienced is make-believe. Hence there is nothing to plan or hope for but illusions.

How to not be fearful but blissful

When a feeling, for example hate, is completely justified with something in a world experienced to be outside of you, it seems to be transferred from what is believed to be you to something that is believed to not be you. This includes love as well, because when hate cannot be experienced internally neither can its contrast love. In other words, hate and love does not seem to in you but a world outside of you.

To deny hate is to deny love, because they are two sides of the same coin.

But as these emotions only are excluded from your awareness, they are still in you. Not in the shape of hate and love though but of fear, because having justified hate with something in an external world, you are scared of what it will do to you in return, so from the emptiness generated by your apparent dissociation from hate/love, fear pops up again and again.

Exclusiveness generates a belief in scarcity, contrary to inclusiveness that generates nothing, so there is not something to miss – and that is pure bliss.

Emptiness, however, is also the result of the complete inclusion of hate, since that leaves nothing to contrast love, so neither that or hate is experienced to exist at all. This emptiness, however, is not full of fear but bliss, as it is not based on the suppression of feelings but the transparency of exposing them as empty space.

Inclusiveness is pure bliss. That is, if everything excluded is not included, because when everything is included, there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is one, since it takes more than one to be blissful. In other words, by slowly including what has been excluded from your personality, perfect moments of bliss will come and go in a world where there seems to be more than one, until there is no more to include and therefore not something to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

In this state of emptiness everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is perceived as empty space in the sense that nothing seems to make sense. As it is a state of not-knowing, you cannot know how long you are in it. But measured in linear time it is not that long – at least not if you want to go on appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, as then everything must constantly be perceived to make a difference.

A world where there seems to be more than one only appears to be there, because you want to believe, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Hence you imagine to be in world in the empty space outside of the formlessness of that which is one, but since formlessness is endless there is nothing outside of it. Neither inside, as without an outside there is no inside.

When returning to the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is like empty space is being filled with clouds, and the more they are divided in contrasts like good and bad, light and dark, past and future and so on, the more you appear to be in a substantial world where there seems to be more than one.

Although the world appears to be just like before you entered a state of not-knowing, you are approaching it in a less emotional way. This does not mean, there are no emotions, but that you play with them instead of them playing with you. That may offend a lot, but that is not a problem, because the more you are inclusive, the less there is a need to a be part of world where there seems to be more than one.

In most cases though hate is not completely but partially excluded, so that a piece of it can be used to contrast a bit of love, and thereby ratify the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like the white background of these black letters is partially excluded, so that it can contrast the letters shaping this article into an article appearing to be right in front of you.

The less the opposing elements of a contrast appear to make a difference, the less they produce meaning – and since bliss does not come from something but nothing, the more bliss there is.

If the background on the other hand is completely excluded, there is not something to contrast the letters. Hence they disappear in a gap of nothingness, which seems very scaring for those seeking meaning and consistency, but very blissful for those seeking nothing.

The complete inclusion of a feeling requires, that it is totally felt internally. But as hate, which is the example used in this article, has been completely excluded from what you believe to be by justifying it with something perceived to be outside of you, you have dissociated yourself from not only hate but also its contrast love plus a bunch of other emotions, since the dissociation of the contrast of hate and love rubs off on others.

This results in inner numbness, where only the fear or anger of the external appearance(s), that was used to justify the feeling of hate, seems to come through. No worries. If you are nothing but that fear and/or anger, there is no room for the justification and the hate it seemed to transfer to an external world, so it is not experienced to exist inside or outside of you. The same applies to love, since there is no hate contrasting it.

In a state of not-knowing you are powerless, because you do not know what and where you are. Hence you are not aware, that you are in a pool of bliss, before it is over and blissful memories pops up from when you did not believe to be someone definitive.

As the resulting emptiness is not founded on exclusion but inclusion, it is not fear but bliss that pops up from it.

A sure way to not exclude but include is to not know what is going on, as that means there is not something to exclude.

If you by reflex exclude specific feelings, as soon as they pop up, and in the same moment forget why and how, no need to change that. And should the above about including your justifications seem a bit too complicated, no need to improve your understanding or anything else.

The hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are not about correcting your mistakes in a world where there seems to be more than one, but the belief that you are someone there.

In other words, whatever you seem to be in a world where there seems to be more than one needs no correction – only the belief that you are someone definitive and not the formlessness of that which is one needs to be corrected. And that it is when you completely include, what you experience to be in this very moment.

When you cannot remember what you included, it has been completely included.

If you are not aware of what you re in this moment, this is what you include by completely being it, which you are when there is willingness to be so.

Bliss is the natural outcome of not believing to be someone definitive. This you do not believe when the excitement of feeling something specific is not appealing.

As this willingness cancels out the included feeling as well as its contrast, and as the inclusion of one feeling momentarily rubs off on others, the result is not that you embrace yourself, but that you are emptied out and therefore not definable as someone definitive. It is this emptiness that is pure bliss.

The willingness, however, often comes from being willing to admit, that you are not willing to be completely inclusive, because even though it results in pure bliss, it is the end of you as someone definitive, since bliss is the absence of being someone at all.

We are in it together

334a68cb-c7d2-49a2-b282-efb865866789Psychologically speaking it is said that you present as you in the world perceived to be outside of you is the opposite of what you feel to be in the world inside of you. If this is so, it follows that when you participate in the rat race for being and having more than the formlessness of that which is one in the world that appears to be outside of you, inside of you there is a feeling that it is not possible to be and have more than the formlessness of oneness.

This applies to everybody in a world where there seems to be more than one, as you cannot survive in such a world without getting more air, more food, more clothes, more money and whatnot. In other words, we are all part of the same assumption, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one – and we all feel that it is not so.

Forgiveness is only needed, when somebody is judged to be different. But when you see, that this judgement is based on a mistake, it is not forgiveness that is needed but correction of the mistake, which is the belief that he apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one make a difference.

That is why we often rejoice, when the police catches a thief, because then we can project our guilt of being in the rat race for more on someone else. We do not want to see, that we do not differ from a thief in the sense that we all want as much as possible for as little as possible, even though we sense there is something wrong.

That we do not differ from each other basically speaking does not mean, that you should try to stop being aware of our apparent differences, but that you do not have to perceive them to make a difference. Neither does it mean you should love everybody. On the contrary. Now you are free to hate what you dislike and love what you like, because the apparent difference makes no difference.

In other words, the perception that apparent differences do not make a difference is not meant to suppress feelings but to equally enjoy them.

There is no free will in the world defined by time and space regarding what is going to happen next, because just like in the world of a movie all future events are fixed – even though movies where the viewer can choose different developments of it are being planned, all the changes you can choose are pre-made according to the choice of the producer and not yours.

The only thing you actually can change is your perception of what happens in the movie. The same applies to a world defined by time and space – also if your experiences there seem to be of a spiritual nature. It is part of the script and has nothing to do with spirituality, since it is formless and the world is not. It other words, no matter how and where you appear, this is just as illusionary as anything a movie or a video game. Nobody is there.

If you choose to believe, the apparent differences in a movie are making a difference, its world seems real to you. But if you choose to believe, that the apparent differences do not make a difference, the story of the movie is not important. You may want it to finish, because it is so unrealistic and hide that which is real.

Likewise the formlessness of oneness, which is all there is since formlessness is endless, seems to be hidden by a world defined by time and space – or rather the belief that its apparent differences make a difference. The more the apparent differences in a world defined by time and space is not believed to make a difference, the less time and space appears to be real.

Ways of perceiving the world
Perceiving differences to make a difference requires hard work, because you must always be on the look out for what to judge as good or evil, so you can exclude what you decide to be bad from the story of who you are. The reward is that you appear to be good and as that is not possible in the formlessness of that which is one, as it takes more than one to be anything, you also appear to be more than that which is one.

But the price is suffering and a constant search for the bad things you can blame for your state of mind. See also the article The YOU finger and the three ME fingers.

Perceiving differences to not make a difference requires no work, but including all the apparent differences, which is quite easy, as it is just to not exclude any part of your experience of the present moment. The reward is a perfect moment, and as that is a state of not-knowing nothing is wrong or missing.

In other words, you do not need to be or have more – except for more perfect moments. And the more you have of those, the less you need to be and have. You become nobody, and as the world is in the eye of the beholder, nobody is seen, and so there is not someone definitive to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

Alexius´ three cats seem to be very different. Yet he loves them all – not in the same way though. He acknowledges their different needs and love them accordingly. Yet these differences make no difference to him, because he perceives both the cats and himself as symbols of that which makes it possible to experience that there is more than one.

This does not mean that his cats and he are at one – or that he is at one with anything else, as that requires more than one – but that even though they all appear to be very different, the apparent differences make no difference, because they are symbols of the same, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

Ways to perceive differences make no difference?
In the first articles of hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment defocussing was suggested to cancel out the opposing sides of contrasts. This may be the fastest way to undo the belief in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so that the belief in such a world does not appear to hide that which is one.

But if you like to enjoy the world while undoing it – or as somebody once said, to be in the world and not of it – defocusing may be a bit abrupt to you, as it only takes about half an hour of total defocus before there is no knowledge of a world defined by time and space, neither of you appearing to be someone there.

So to make the beginning of your journey without distance more gentle, you could instead choose to see everything in the world as symbols of that which is one, as that means, even though the appearances of the world seems to be different, it makes no difference because they all symbolise the same. In other words, when everything in the world is perceived to be symbolic, you do not have to think about contrasts and make sure everything is included.

In this way the belief in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is being undone, while you can have fun appearing to be someone there. This you can read about in

A perfect moment does not require learning – only inclusion

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings about including both sides of a contrast, so that they cancel out each other* and leave you with nothing but a perfect moment is not meant to be a new religion or philosophy with special steps to learn and strictly to follow.

In the previous articles where there has been examples of contrasts like love and hate or good and bad, it is quite easy to figure out the opposite opponents of a contrast. But you do not need to be conscious about the opposite side of a certain thought or feeling in order to include both sides of the contrast.

It only make sense to talk about night, because we also are aware of its contrast day. And we would not know about light if not for darkness. So it makes no difference, if you are aware of both sides of a contrast or not, as long as you just include one side of it exactly as you perceive it.

You cannot experience just one thing. If you did you would not know what it is that you experience. You need the contrast of love, which is hate, to know you are in love. In other words, when including love as it is, hate is automatically included* – even though it often may be on an unconscious level.

The inclusion of everything perceived in a moment is not complicated. If the Chinese wallpaper in this image is not part of the perception of the moment for the person eating in a Chinese restaurant, there is no need for him to include it.

Maybe he did not even noticed the food in the moment of this photo, but had a childhood memory popping up when being photographed. If so, including everything as it is perceived in the moment for him is to include the memory of his childhood and whatever thoughts or feeling arises from that.

This is what makes the moment perfect for him. Not Alexius shooting the photo, the Chinese food or the beautiful people passing by, because that is not his perception of the moment. His perception of the moment is of the past, and when that is included the moment is perfect now.

There are no rules but inclusion
It is inclusiveness that makes a moment perfect. If there is something you forget to include, you include forgetfulness, which automatically will include mindfulness as well, whether you are aware of this contrast or not.

A perfect moment can be compared to a zone where there is no concern and therefore no need to correct, transcend or transform anything.

The idea of living in the now, is as most so-called spiritual ideas based on exclusion, so that the belief in separation can be enhanced – in this case it is the past and future that is excluded in order to find a separated point in between those called now. A perfect moment, however, is no based on separation, as it includes any memory of the past as well as expectations to the future.

It can last a split second, but it may also seem as if you forever are in a state of daydreaming about nothing, or a short outburst of crying about the past, or a vision of a sensual kiss in the future. It lasts as long as you have no concern for a world where there seems to be more than one.

But measured in linear time it cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 minutes at the most, as a world where there seems to be more than one constantly needs to be witnessed. If not, you will not experience it anymore. Neither anything else, as what you believed to be is no more. Not is the sense, that it has been replaced by something else, because it was never there, although the belief that it was, hid the formlessness of oneness.

To include everything does not mean you must stop to exclude. That would not be to include everything. You do not need to stop anything to undo the belief in separation. You simple include everything – also excluding.

No need to worry about getting it right. All what is needed for a moment to be perfect is to not be exclusive but inclusive – and you are automatically inclusive when not exclusive.

If this seems to be unsettling, include it, and you will see, that by including all parts of your experience of a world where everything seems to be different, their apparent difference makes no difference, and so the belief in separation, which is what makes you feel uncomfortable, is slowly being undone while you at the same time are enjoying this belief.

To include everything has nothing to do with the so-called union of soul, mind and body.** To believe in such concepts is just as illusionary, as to believe in any other concept based on the idea that it is possible to be or have more than that which is one. As it takes more than one to include something, this is of course also an illusion. Yet the illusion of inclusion is a way to use the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one yo undo that belief.

It may be easier to include somebody than the feelings they represent
If a feeling from the past
seems a little diffuse, it is often easier to include it by simply including those you blame for it in the present, or by including your body as it feels in this moment, as most unwanted thoughts and feelings are stored there, for example in the stomach until the pressure gets too high on the body, so you try to alleviate it by projecting it onto others – often those closest to you.

In other words, your body and those closest to you may be the biggest symbols of exclusion, so by including those symbols you are way off on your way to undo the belief in separation. In the case of Alexius, his cats most certainly represents excluded sides of him, that seems a bit diffuse to him and therefore hard to include. Yet, it is easy include his cats.

To include them is not the same as to love them, as you cannot love something unless it is perceived to be separated from you. From this follows, to love somebody is to exclude somebody. Yet this exclusion – just like any other, can be undone by including it.

If there is somebody you dislike, you do not need to change that, because when this is not justified, but simply included as it is, to like or dislike makes no difference.

It is all about inclusion
As already state Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are not a new philosophy or religion with a new vocabulary and rules, that you must learn and strictly follow, so if you for example do not want to include your cats, feel free to exclude them. It does not matter, as long as you include your unwillingness to do this. In other words, exclusion is also fine – just remember to include it that you are exclusive … and should you forget that, well, include your forgetfulness.

Maybe inclusion does not seem to work for you. It feels frustrating and as if something still is missing. If so, you just include that.

Life is not exclusive but inclusive, so to not exclude is to uncover life. When exclusion is included, you do not exclude.

If you think inclusion is just another ego trip, you are right. Yet being right is also just another ego trip, as it is founded on exclusion. But if you include the ego trip, the ego cannot survive, as there is no separation without exclusion, and the ego basically is the idea, that it is possible to be separated from that which is one by excluding fragments of it.

Concentration is suppressing that which is you

To fence off what you do not like, you need to constantly separate your view of the world into fragments of good and bad. Lots of concentration is needed to maintain the appearances of the world separated into those categories and their subcategories of more or less good and bad.

In movies it bank robbers, killers and worried people look quite concentrated, while the happy ones seems unconcentrated.

The more you concentrate, the more you will able to control yourself and focus your energy towards doing something specific. For the bad ones this can be very helpful for drilling a hole in a bank safe, for instance, and for the good ones it can be very helpful in preventing a bank robbery.

But it is not helpful in regards to enjoying the moment as it is. On the contrary. The more you concentrate, the less you are able to go with the flow and participate in a spontaneous laughter. You are focused on attaining a specific goal in the future and cannot enjoy what is around you in the present, if it is does not seem to be part of the glorious story, you have made up and that you are concentrating on manifesting in the future.

To make long short, contrary to what you may have learned in the context of for example meditation, concentration is not beneficial in regards to not being blinded by the belief that there is more than the formlessness of oneness, as it appears to be hidden by what you focus on.

But when you are not concentrated on achieving something imagined in the future, you are not focussed – and being defocused the apparent differences of the world make no difference. As that means the belief in separation falls apart, there is nobody to know, what and where you are. In other words, there is not someone definitive to hide the formlessness of oneness.

Reading a book requires much focus, so often you will end up feeling quite paralysed, which is a state enhancing the belief a world defined by time and space. Television and cinemas are more beneficial in regards to undoing this belief, as they do not require the same amount of focus.

The same applies to reading on a digital media. After some hours of multitasking on the web you may be quite spaced out, which is terrific in regards to undoing the belief in a world defined by time and space.

Multitasking is a great help to not focus. Doing several things at the same time, there is not much time to care about specifics or the labelling of everything. This is a prerequisite for a perfect moment and/or the result of it, as it is a state of not-knowing.


NOTES:

  • The above should not be understood as concentration is bad in a world defined by time and space. It is a great tool in such a world for defining yourself. But it is not fine, if you want to undo the belief that you are someone definitive.

INTRO TO HACK #3.2, Inclusiveness is a perfect moment

A cup of coffee cannot be defined as coffee, when there is no focus on it – neither can someone be defined to not focus on it, as it requires focus to be someone. The graphic is grabbed from cyberspace.

When you have a look at the world, it is thoughts that tell you what it is that you see. And they imply there is a world full of appearances divided into categories of for example good or bad and attractive or repelling. But you do not have to listen those thoughts though. If you do not hang onto them in an attempt to compile them into a story, they will just pass by. In other words, all you have to do to not see a world where there seems to be more than one, is to not use thoughts to confirm its apparent differences.

To appear as someone special much concentration is needed, whereas no concentration is required to not to appear as someone at all.

When defocusing* you cannot remember what and where you are, and so there is nobody to compile thoughts into a definition of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither is there nobody to see if they just pass by, but that is how it appears to Alexius, while writing this intro and enjoying a cortado.

Instead of searching for thoughts, that can define the cortado in front of him, he goes with the flow of the world enfolding itself in the foam of it. When this is not converted into something familiar based on past definitions, coffee is not perceived to be different from foam or the world appearing to be in it, neither outside of it.

This does not mean that the apparent differences of the world are not experienced to be there, but that they do not make a difference, when you are inclusive and not exclusive.


*) It is common sense, that you only defocus in situations, where your attention is not needed in the world. As long as you appear to be in a world, where there seem to be more than one, you play along on its premise, which requires much focus and concentration, as otherwise there does not appear to be a world, where there seems to be more than one.

Perceiving the apparent differences of such a world to not make a difference will undo the belief in separation, while you can have fun appearing to be separated.
