Not knowing what and where you are is total bliss

Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You have not gotten any Black Fridays deals from Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, because they have nothing to offer you. On the contrary, they take everything away, that you believe to be and have in a world of duality, whether that appears to be inside or outside of you, so that nothing seems to hide there never was or will be more than non-duality, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, it is only the belief that you are someone definitive in a world of duality that needs to be undone. As there is nothing outside of non-duality, this belief is made of nothing. Thus it costs nothing to have the duality hacks undo this belief.

In the past week or so no new articles was published about how to undo the belief in being someone definitive. Not Alexius does not want to, but because he is not finished upgrading them. Until then use one or more of the duality hacks to remember to forget what and where you are in favour of the bliss arising from momentarily not believing to be someone definitive.

In the eyes of the world Alexius has been a very successful person, first as a businessman who opened two restaurants and two bars designed by himself, later as a TV producer and later again designing for big and small companies plus teaching public relations. All of it without an education in regards to those things or even have watched TV himself.

According to science nothing in the world is substantial. It is all empty space. The same applies to the person you appear to be. Thus you are not in the world, neither are nobody else – nor is anybody in an astral world.

The door to the enlightenment of that which is one is ´alone together´

The animation is grabbed from the web.

The animation is grabbed from Ello.

When my cats want to go outside, they sit and stare at the front door. If this does not open it, they may also try to scratch it. But they do not have the power to open the door. I have to do it for them, and when I am busy – for example in the kitchen – they must wait.

The waiting time is not due to their karma or how they have behaved. It has nothing to do with them. It is simple because I am occupied with something else. That is all.

The door to the enlightenment of that which is one is not of a world where there seems to be more than one, so no trait of such a world – like being humble, full of compassion, totally aware or whatnot – can help you open this door. Some therefore suggest that being and having nothing is the way, but that will not help you either, because any kind of being, having or doing involves separation as it takes more than one to be, have or do something.

When you are alone together, there is no doubt, that what you give is what you receive. Hence you are always met and therefore never alone.

Yet, if no part of you is excluded by projected them onto what seem to be appearances outside of you, there is nobody outside of you to define you as someone, and so there is nobody to be, have or do anything, and therefore nothing to hide that the door to the enlightenment of that which is one is alone together.

NOTES:

´Alone together´ you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one

You are alone together, when you include all contrasts of the world as you perceive them, because what you perceive is what you think you are. Practically speaking this is done by really devoting yourself to what you hate or love. Devotion to one of the aspect of a contrast will do, as you cannot have the feeling of love without having the feeling of hate – and vice versa. So the inclusion of one aspect of a contrast, for example the love of your spouse, pet, work and whatnot will complete you. In this completeness you are alone but also together and as this is the way you left the oneness of that which is one – or rather imagined that you did – this is the way back to that which you never left except in your imagination. The animation is grabbed from the web.

You are alone together*, when all the contrasts of the world are included as you perceive them, because this cancels them out and without contrasts there is no separation. Practically speaking this is done by completely devoting yourself to for example the contrast of love and hate. Devotion to one aspect of a contrast will do, as there is no way of knowing the feeling of love without knowing its contrast – and vice versa. Hence an unedited inclusion of love or hate for your spouse, pet or whatnot will undo the separation of you and your spouse, pet or whatnot, so that you are alone together – and as this is the way you appear to have left the formlessness of that which is one, it is also the way back to that which cannot be left except in an imagination of doing it alone together. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

Most persons try their best to fit into the part of the world where they appear to be, so that they in some collective acknowledgement of mutual likeness with the group of people there seem to be acknowledged as somebody who is part of something bigger and better than others.

When you try to fit into the world of a movie, the world from where you perceive it seems obscure.

This is why the enlightenment of that which is one seems to be hidden to them. It is not a concept, that you can fit into, and it is not part of a world where there seems to be more than one. So as long as you try to fit into such a world – whether in a so-called spiritual or mundane way – you cannot bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has no need to fit into the world, neither to revolt against it, and so someone like that is free to pretend to be whatever the wind brings around.

To not fit into the world is not a matter of revolting against it, but to not believe in the purpose of appearing as someone definitive in it. This is not to say, that there is another and higher purpose you must find, or that you have a certain dharma to fulfil.

The bliss you may find in so-called spirituality takes you further away from that which is you, because it is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, and it is not blissful but fearful to believe that you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, exposing the fear that the belief in separation entails is more beneficial in regards to having this belief undone than doping yourself with bliss. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Lots of so-called spiritual teachings promise more balance and freedom or transformation of the self into a higher consciousness. But it is just the ego, who in the disguise of a spiritual master wants to guide you into being more balanced and free than others or to raise you above them by providing you with a higher consciousness, so that the belief in separation, which is the foundation of ego, is uphold.

There is no other purpose of your appearance as someone definitive than to constantly enhance the belief in separation, so that it seems you are an autonomously person in a world where there seems to be more than you. If you revolt against this by for example following so-called socialistic or spiritual ideas, you are still founded on the belief in separation, as otherwise there would be nothing to revolt against.

To not care for the purpose of the world is to not care for being someone at all.

As all experiences are fabricated by the brain, the experience of meeting or being together with somebody else is a fabrication of your own. In other words, feeling together is not real. That is why you are alone together, and as such return to the formlessness of that which is one, just like you seemed to have left it, because it cannot be left unless you imagine to do it together as there is no more than that which is one. In other words, you cannot leave the formlessness of oneness except in your imagination and to make it appear as if there is more than one you imagine to leave the formlessness of oneness together, but as there is no more than that which is one you are alone together – and in the same way you imagine to return. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As all experiences are processed by the brain, to meet or be together with somebody perceived to be outside of you is a fabrication of your own. In other words, feeling together is make-believe. This is why you are alone together, and as such return to the formlessness of that which is one – just like you left it or rather imagined to leave it, because it is not possible to do that, as what is formless is endless. In other words, to not remain as that which is one, you left it together, but as there is no more than that which is one you left it alone together. By recalling this state of mind, which you do by not being exclusive but inclusive, you return alone together to that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The way to go against the thought system of separation without being a part of it is simply to not care about the thoughts, feelings and actions appearing to be issued by you. Not in the sense that you try to stop the them, but that you do not justify them. If not justified they have no cause, and so they are not an effect of somebody*.

When there is no need for more than one, you are on your own. Hence there is no doubt, what you receive is what you give. If you give love, you are loved, and if you feel rejected, you do not want to be loved. It does not make a difference though, because when you do not believe, there is more than that which is one, you are alone together.

When thoughts, feelings and actions are not justified, nothing appears to have caused them. Without a cause they are not an effect, and so you are alone together with thoughts, feelings and actions. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Consequently nobody thinks, feels and act*, and so the emptiness, that replaces the pain of believing to be somebody, paves the way of being alone together, which is a sure way back to the formlessness of that which is one. It does not mean, you must feel alone in order to go against the thought system of separation and return to that which is one, but that you must be what you appeared to be when you seemed to leave it, namely alone together.

The very moment there are thoughts about somebody you are alone together. If you, however, long for more than that which is one, you will suppress this, so you seem to experience somebody outside of you.

Appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one you are always alone together. But most appearances suppress this by forming an alliance with those perceived to be outside of them, so that they in a collective mutual agreement seem to be acknowledged by each other as unique and independent creatures.

Everything in a dream – no matter where it appears to be – is in the dreamer. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alone together can be compared to having a dream. Although there seems to be many different appearances separated by time and space, they are all in the same place within the dreamer, who therefore is alone together with all of them.

Hence they believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, instead of alone together returning to the formlessness of that which is one on a way that is not there, because what is formless is endless, so they never left it.

*) Without justifying thoughts and feelings, they have no cause. Hence they are not an effect of somebody, so nobody is thinking or feeling anything. Read more projections and justifications in No justification = No victimization. See Extra duality Hacks.

NOTE ABOUT ´ALONE TOGETHER´ PLUS OTHER WAYS OF HAVING THE BELIEF THAT THERE IS MORE THAN THAT WHICH IS ONE UNDONE
Being alone together was a wordless realisation for Alexius when he was very young. Writing Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings he is trying to find the appropriate words for communicating this. The process started in the previous articles

And it goes on in the next articles Who is alone together? and The door to the enlightenment of that which is one is alone together plus hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one.

Alone together appears to be hidden by the belief in something outside of you. So by the having this belief undone, there is nothing to hide, alone together is what you are in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alone together appears to be hidden by the belief that there is something outside of you. So the more this belief is undone, the less is hiding, that alone together is what you are in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alone together is not the only way ´back´ to the formlessness of that which is one. There are several ways of having the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. The fastest way is to not know what and where you are or to not care about being and having more, as that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #4-7.2 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one).

The other ways Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings suggest for having this belief undone is pretending to be a person (hack #1.5-6), to see symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1-2) and to not exclude but include (hack #3.2 & 6). These ways use the illusions of the world experienced with the outer senses to undo the belief in it, while you still are able to enjoy the excitement of it.

In the last two ways of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, namely to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (hack #4-7,2) and connecting with the empty breath (hack #4-7.4) the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is undone with the help of the inner senses. You can find all the mentioned ways in the table of contents.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless, so a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion – including any way out of it. Hence the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

What sort of external music resembles the internal one

R-699747-1323974749.jpeg

When you are used to the ethereal music that the inner senses reveals, when the outer ones are partly turned off, memories of these harmonies may be triggered when listening to external music from artists like Charalambides. This image, that is grabbed from the web, is a cover from their album ´A Vintage Burden´.

Mozart might have gotten the inspiration for his compositions through a connection to inner music. This is not to say, that his music sounds exactly like inner ethereal music. Rather it is to say that the flow of his music resembles the effortless elegance and beauty of ethereal harmonies originating from inside, when the outer senses are more or less closed – except when it sometimes seems Mozart wants to impress the audience by adding more action to the compositions than the natural flow of ethereal harmonies calls for. Inner music never built up to a peak.

Church bells and similar sounds typically resemble the inner music. Yet inner music has no patterns of repeating itself in the way mundane sounds seem to do.

Contemporary electronic music, that consists of glitches and other sonic artifacts, spaced out or slowed played guitar, analogue or synth sounds mixed with for example piano loops, chimes and bells into ambient textures in very long tracks seeming to have no beginning or end, have much resemblance to the ethereal music revealed by the inner senses in the organic way it appears to move on without going nowhere. The electronic music though has a lot harder edge to it and a less transparent sound than inner music, which has a crystal clear but distant sound to it with no sonic artifacts needed to produce the ethereal harmonies.

The kind of new-age music, that has a dreamy symphonic sound to it, does not resemble ethereal music, because it is neither dreamy or symphonic. Yet inner music may emotionally be remembered like a symphony, as it has a sense of bliss or stillness to it that seems to come from the connectedness of all its random sounds. But inner music is without any emotions.

Appearing in the world with eyes and ears wide open it is obvious that all experiences are deceptions, so I see no sense in meditating or do anything else to experience higher states of mind, as they are just as deceitful as other experiences. If I want to relax from appearing in the world of the outer senses, I shut them down by not following the urge to get excited from specific experiences.

When I appear to be in the world of the outer senses, I deal with it by letting the outer senses do the navigation there, as the inner ones are hopeless in that regard. Yet they are great, when it comes to perceiving the world of the outer senses. In my case I do not listen much to external music resembling the interior music. In general I prefer the more mundane music, when dealing with the world of the outer senses

The enlightenment of that which is one versus glimpses of it

You know this pic is not how the physically world really look. It is rather a fantasy, thar is only possible due to physical life, that it therefore is a symbol of. Likewise the physical world is a symbol of life even though the physical world has nothing to do with life.

No matter how many beautiful glimpses I get of this mountain, it has not much to do with the reality of it. I will have to go there to see, what it really looks like. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

We let ourselves be deceived by the outer senses into believing, that a world where everything seems to be separated by time and space is real, but when these senses are turned inwards there is no time and space, and therefore nothing to uphold the belief in separation, neither in the appearance of you as someone definitive.

Without the belief in separation there is not something to hide, that the abstractness of the inner senses flows straight into an explosion coming out of a black hole or maybe into it. There is no way to know which way it is, because this is the enlightenment of that which is one and it takes more than one to know anything. Also, explosion may not be the best word to use, because it is nothing but empty space that is carrying the nothingness of you into to the formlessness of that which is one. End of story or what?

The formlessness of that which is one is endless
This is not the end of the story, because what is formless is endless – not in the sense though that it last forever. It lasts no time but one perpetual present. This a never-ending story, however, cannot be written in a world defined by time and space, because there everything has an end. In terms of end though returning to the formlessness of that which is one is the end of time and space – at least that is how it seems within the context of linear time.

Researches from University of California Santa Barbara have proved that human cells and neutron stars have something in common. Both are namely built of layers – looking like a parking garage with many floors that are connected via steps.

But as there is nothing else than one perpetual present, the only thing that ends is the imagination of a world defined by time and space. Yet reading this article you still believe in this imagination of a tangible world constructed of layer upon layer of thoughts, added in such a way that it seems there are different levels in this capsule of time and space. Within this context it also seems as if there are levels of turning the outer senses inwards, and that the more the inner senses take over the more you occur to have glimpses of enlightenment.

It is a relief, when glimpses of enlightenment slowly but surely undoes the belief in being someone definitive – but very unsettling if you want to hang onto this belief.

These glimpses, however, are not the enlightenment of that which is one, because there are no levels in that which is one. Nevertheless they slowly but surely undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one, contrary to the enlightenment of that which is one, where – as it is timeless – it takes no time to have this belief undone.

Another glimpse of the mountain from the first photo. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The timelessness of that which is one, however, cannot be brought into a world defined by time and space, so you will not be able to know what it is, if you experience to reappear in such a world after having bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

Yet you will have vague memories of it, and that is enough to constantly be reminded, there is no more than that which is one, and consequently all experiences – whether they seem to be so-called spiritual or mundane – are illusions, as it takes more than one to experience something.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one are experienced with the inner senses, while being aware of the world of the outer sense as well – although it seems quite distant.

But to bid the enlightenment of that which is one welcome the outer senses must be completely closed. In other words, there are no awareness of the world of the outer senses and after entering the enlightenment of that which is one there is neither no awareness of the inner senses. In fact there is no awareness at all, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

To sum it up: When partially turning off the outer senses, the inner senses is only partly triggered, so you just have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is an experience you have while still aware of appearing to be someone in the world of the outer senses.

These glimpses can be compared to watching a movie trailer and not the whole movie – but then again it is not really so, because both the trailer and the movie is something you experience, and the enlightenment of that which is one, that is bid welcome by completely turning off the inner senses, cannot be experienced.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not a personal experience, but glimpses of it is
The technique for tasting the nectar of life (see the previous article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment) I like to do during the day – not so much for the taste of it, but for the sphere of indifference, that it just like the empty breath* induces.

This is the look of the mountain in the two first photos when you are almost on the top of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Being indifferent am not distracted from going with the flow of the ongoing glimpses of the enlightenment, whenever I am not dealing with something that craves much attention in the world of the outer senses – and if I am involved in something that demands much attention, the indifference towards it makes sure that the perception of it is founded on glimpses of the enlightenment. In other words, the world is experienced, but not as if I am there. It is more like sitting in a cinema and imagining to be in the world on the screen.

Depending on the strength of the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, it is like momentarily dying from the world of the outer senses, so if you appear to be occupied by something there, it can be very disturbing.

Glimpses of ethereal harmonies comes and go as they please. In my case it is nice to wake up in the morning accompanied by the distant sound of ethereal harmonies, but when I at night close my eyes to fall asleep, the ongoing spirals of light, that are brighter than the light from my lamps and that keeps coming, distracts me from falling asleep.

During the day there are also glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, mostly in the form of short splashes of lucid light and hearing or feeling the vibration, that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises.

Besides there are vague memories of passing both the outer and inner senses into the enlightenment of that which is one, where all thoughts and feelings collected to justify the belief in a world defined by time and space is extracted, so that there is no belief to hide that which has no beginning or end and therefore is everything, namely the formlessness of oneness.

This image of the same mountain, as in the other images in this article, again shows that you can have many different glimpses to have of it, and that they are all coloured by the one having the glimpses. The Enlightenment of that which is one is not coloured by the one having it, because there is not somebody having it. It is not possible to experience it, as that would require more than one. In other words, there is nothing personal about the enlightenment of that which is one. Yet, describing it via vague memories it is like everything else, where more than one seems to be involved, coloured by the personality of the describer as well by the one interpreting the description. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Trying to make something last only appears to be meaningful in a world, where everything has an end
Glimpses of enlightenment, which most confuses with the enlightenment of that which is one, may leave you with the impression, that it is possible to fuse heaven and earth by prolonging the glimpses via meditation or other kinds of techniques, that seems to make you able to transform energies in such a way that heaven and earth merge.

The idea of heaven and hell is an idea based on duality, which is founded on contrasts like that. And as you cannot have one without the other, you can never have only heaven in a world of duality. Neither in non-duality, because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be in heaven.

This idea of a better world is founded on the belief, that you are someone special, who is in control and able to create a world like you see fit. Though neither dictators, rich people, political or so-called spiritual minded persons have ever succeeded in creating a world. the way they think it should be, many assume it is something in themselves or others that need to be corrected for it to happen. But no matter how much you correct, all that you get are more frustrations, because there is nothing to correct but the belief that you are someone definitive.

Whether you experience, that you are free in the now, spiritual or whatnot, it is echoes of past conditioning, that you hold onto with the sole purpose of being someone special in a world defined by time and space.

Instead of having this belief undone most, who have had one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, start teaching how to make the world better – as if there is a world to make better. They put together a new philosophy based on their interpretation of one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, mixed up with speculative ideas about spirituality and maybe ancient traditions of meditation and whatnot. They may for example encourage not being conditioned, so that you can be free in the now. But to experience that or anything else is a conditioning based on the belief, that you are someone to be defined by time and space.

You freely choose to give Facebook all your info in exchange for being able to construct a personality in its virtual world, as if this construction constitutes a real person.

Time and space is not a fact, but a belief system, that you blindly follow. You choose to be conditioned by it, so that it seems to be a fact, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space instead of the formlessness of that which is one.

*) This article is written before the empty breath was introduced in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings. Much to his surprise he wrote lots of new articles only about the empty breath, when he was proofreading hack #4-7.5 The inner senses, enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it. They turned into a new hack named hack #4-7, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone. If you just want a bit of info about the empty breath check the article The nature of ´the empty breath´.

The way to hear or feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises as described in the previous article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment and especially in Life has no secrets is deduced from Alexius´ experience of hearing and feeling it. Not that he originally heard or felt this echo of oneness with the help of Aum or Sohang. It was simply given to him in his youth via his devotion to serve.

But it was not before much later he realised, that hearing or feeling this echo of oneness is what those constantly chanting Aum or Sohang are looking for but never get, as they have expectations of something very special. Yet having recognised it himself, it was not a problem to deduce a fast way of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration that Aum or Sohang symbolises.

The way to connect with the empty breath is deduced from Alexius´ approach of it. Again he did not originally connect with it in the way Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings advise you to do – see the links in the below box. The connection was just given to him. Maybe so that he could deduce a way for you to connect with it as well.

Check out these articles, if you want to connect with the empty breath:

The ways to have inner experiences of light, music and nectar as described in the previous article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment, Alexius heard about in his youth, but most likely the speaker just had second-hand knowledge about these glimpses of enlightenment, as he mainly referred to ancient scriptures, where they obviously have been mentioned in various ways.

As Alexius has not read ancient scriptures or so-called spiritual books his enlightened non teachings are not based on an existing religion or philosophy, neither are they meant to be a new religion or philosophy but to undo the belief such concepts as well as anything else.

A guru, which means a teacher, is always deeply founded in the belief of being someone special in a world, where there seems to be more than one, because it requires more than one to teach somebody. In other words, a guru is no different from anybody else profiting on the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Guru is a Hindi word for teacher, and as such they deeply founded in the belief of being in a world where there seems to be more than one, as it requires more than one to teach something to somebody. In other words, a guru is no different from anybody else profiting on the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Anyhow Alexius soon stepped totally aside, so there was nothing to block out the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #4-7.2 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one), wherefore the ways to experience glimpses of it, as described in his enlightened non teachings, are not based on second-hand knowledge. Hence they may not be similar to what you hear from those interpreting the sayings from old scriptures, as without the enlightened of that which is one you are bound to misinterpret the sayings about it.

As most seem to think enlightenment is something you achieve, where after you go around enlightened, it may be best to spell out, that the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be achieved, because to bid it welcome, you must step aside. In other words, Alexius has not been enlightened but momentarily stepped aside, so that there was nothing but the enlightenment of that which is one. That is why he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

Unfortunately this does not apply to most gurus or others talking about enlightenment. What they say about enlightenment is not geared towards bidding it welcome but to follow their speculative rules for a better life, so that they appear to be somebody who is and has more than you – for example more money, power or fame, which in the eyes of the world makes them more life. It is probably for this reason, they never really tell what their teachings are about, but instead speak in vague and mysterious ways about peace, coming from the heart and whatnot.

If you doubt what your guru says, you are told, you have not gotten it and should sign up for more lessons – meaning you should give more money.

The old-school gurus may speak vaguely about something called kundalini, which is supposed to make a fusion between body and spirit, so that you become full of bliss and wisdom. Newer gurus have speculative teachings about living in the now, realising your self or a higher purpose. Both approaches appeal to those who want to have their feelings of inferiority replaced with feelings of spiritual grandeur, so that they can be acknowledged as someone special, who is part of something higher.

But to merge with something, be full of light, live in the now, realise your self and whatnot requires more than one. It other words, it is an experience geared for a world where there seems to be more than one. It has nothing to do with the formlessness of that which is one, because it takes more than one to be conscious about something.

Any experience in a world where there seems to be more than one can turn into that which is one, provided you do not try to hold onto the experience by interpreting it as bliss or something else, because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, so it is not possible to have a specific experience unless you believe you are someone definitive.

The same of course applies to seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, as described in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings. That is why thee non teachings distinguish between the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it. The latter is an experience in a world where there seems to be more than one – you could say it is a state of being. But the enlightenment of that which is one is not an experience, nor any kind of being. because it takes more than one to experience or be something.

All ways lead to Rome, they say, but they forget to say that they also lead away from it, so do not count on the ways suggested by the gurus promising a hypothetical better life in the future, because only a world where there seems to be more than one has a future. And as reality is one perpetual present, it has neither an end or a future, so anything with a future is an illusion.

That which is you is not the appearance of something definitive. You are and have nothing in the the sense that you you are nothing definitive, but the formlessenes of that which is one, that is everything, as formlessness is endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

What you believe to be is nothing in the sense that you are not someone definitive, but the formlessness of that which is one, and as that is everything, since formlessness is endless, so is that which is you. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

For those teaching about kundalini, freedom in the now, finding your true self and whatnot, it is not a problem that what they promise is just another illusion. On the contrary. Because that means their followers never get it and therefore will keep on paying money, give hugs or whatever the teacher asks for, so both of you feel, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Yet this is not what the above duality hacks are about, neither all the others, that presented themselves during the writing of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachingsthat (see Duality HacksExtra Duality Hacks and More Duality Hacks), as they point to the formlessness of that which is one – or rather towards that which appears to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

NOTE: This article is a nota bene to the previous one Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment. They are both part of hack #4-7.5 The inner senses, enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it.

++ Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment

There is no life in the world. It is to be compared to a dream, which, no matter how beautiful it may appear, is an illusion.

Although the formlessness of that which is one it is the power making it possible to simulate a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not possible for it to be in the simulation – just like it is not possible for the street simulated in this image to be in the picture, or for a dreamer to be in the dream empowered by it.

When the formlessness of life is perceived as the sole cause of any experience – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – you never play somebody else´s game. Even if it may seem so, they are not the reason for what you appear to do and say. Neither is the person you seem to be.

There is only one reason for your apparent thoughts, feelings, conversations and actions, namely the formlessness of life. In other words, it is not someone definitive who thinks, feels, says or does something.

As life is formless and thus without beginning or end, everything definable is lifeless. Yet everything without life symbolises it, because there is no more than the formlessness of life.

This does not mean that it is the formlessness of life that thinks, feels, says or does something. But that it is the energy which makes it possible to experience as if someone is doing this, although there is no more than the formlessness of life, since formlessness have no beginning or end.

Neither does it mean, that you have found the formlessness of life in a world defined by time and space, but that everything there is perceived to be a symbol of it. As both the experiencer and the experienced therefore are symbols of that which makes it possible to perceive a world where the formlessness of life seems to be divided into more than one, the apparent differences in such a world do not make a difference.

Read more about differences not making a difference in hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment and hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt and heard via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

Hearing or feeling the echo of life
Appearing in a world defined by time and space as a symbol of the formlessness of life, you do not pump up the volume of music to hear or feel it, but to be reminded that it is the formlessness of life that makes it possible to have the experience of hearing and feeling something.

The echo of oneness does not reveal what that which is one is, but what it is not, namely the nothingness in which you believe to be someone definitive in a tangible world.

This is not to say, that the formlessness of life can be heard and/or felt in a world defined by time and space. It is not possible to hear or feel formlessness. But it is possible to hear the echo of it coming from the edge of the universe. This unpronounceable vibration, which often is symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God, is heard or felt when you are more attentive to the world of the inner senses than that of the outer ones.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally meant to symbolise one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be someone in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

As none of the aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, the experience of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration coming from the edge of the universe is not the enlightenment of that which is one but a glimpse of it. Neither is seeing or tasting the enlightenment of that which is one, since it is an experience and therefore just as illusionary as any other experience (see All experiences are equally unreal).

But as these illusionary glimpses of enlightenment is not of the world experienced by the outer senses but by the inner senses, experiencing them from there while still being aware about the world of the outer senses, they have the capacity to undo the deception of the outer senses – not abruptly like the enlightenment of that which is one, but little by little. Click here if you want to read more about the distinction between the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it.

In the world of the outer senses you must always plan for the future in order to uphold the illusion of linear time.

The more the outer senses, that perceive a world defined by time and space, is turned inwards, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inner senses. This is why it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (you can read more about the illusion of time by clicking here) – where the echo of the primordial vibration, that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises, is used to create a fantasy of a world constructed by time and space in such a way that it seems to be real until you hear or feel this echo.

This is the Hindi symbol of ´sohang´ – grabbed from the web

The Hindi symbol of Sohang.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of god or rather one perpetual present is symbolised by the word ´Aum´ or ´Sohang´ and in the New Testament by ´The Word of God´: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one perceives ´The Word´ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on experiencing the world of the outer senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is an echo of the formlessness of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. This includes the vibration that is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which is as close to you, as anything else you experience to be close in the world of the outer senses, if you are not deceived by them into believing that you are constricted by the definitions of time and space. The world of the inner senses is not ruled by these definition, so there you can go directly to the edge of the universe and hear or feel the formlessness of that which is one coming out of a black hole. It is also there that you see or taste it.

One way to turn the outer senses inwards in order to hear or feel the echo of oneness is to not be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all what you hear or feel completely unedited – or rather are willing to do so – the sum of everything in the world of the outer senses is heard as a humming coming from the edge of the universe. It sounds or feels like nothing and everything at the same time.

In such a perfect moment you appear to be both in the world of the outer and inner senses at the same time, but without any sense of separation between them. A perfect moment though is not a moment where you are filled up with new energy or anything else, since you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Being that, however, is very blissful.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do this without having to spent years of meditating, chanting and whatnot.

If you want to read especially about the inner senses check the previous article A reintroduction of enlightenment, inner and outer senses, or the next one The ins and outs of the inner senses, or the older ones Beyond the senses – or the outer senses versus the inner ones and The inner senses, enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it.

Be aware that the ways described in this article to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will not work, if you look forward to be or have more in a spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic way. This does not mean, you must avoid being or having more but not care about how much.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

The third eye
Appearing in the world as a symbol of life you do not close your eyes to go to sleep, but to see glimpses of the formlessness of life, which is done via the inner sense called the third eye, that is a single ´eye´ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this makes sense to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. Yet he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – have no energy to focus, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome by completely closing down the outer senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he in his early 20s returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to close the outer senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say that from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can close the visual outer sense and open the inner eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. It is best to do this in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outer senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having an inner vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so that there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, because formlessness has no end.

As the sense of sight is always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search around in the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle down at a light show expose at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

If no contrasts are perceived at all the colours turn into a white light, that is so bright that it is not contrasted by something or illuminating anything. That is the enlightenment of that which is one.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inner senses, that is above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger across each eyeball from outer corner to inner, while having the forefinger on the third eye.

But this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures will open the third eye.

None of the inner senses can be reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. Deactivating the outer senses, however, can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems to be helpful in this regard by all means go for it. Yet the fastest way to deactivate the outer senses is to not know what and where you are.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When you momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nobody to prevent glimpses of enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, which extracts all thoughts, that you have hold onto in order to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so that there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of that which is one.

You can read more about a black hole in the article The ins and outs of a black hole.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at al. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world seems to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that may be experienced as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland, that appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the enlightenment of that which i one, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, neither consciousness, because to experience or be consciousness about something requires more than one.

If you want to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you must pick up the thought construction, that was left at the edge of a black hole before you entered it, in order to be shaped as someone definitive.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is not another side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not enlightened. Yet, due to your vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, that you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But you will for sure grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and that anything appearing there – including the appearance of you as someone definitive – therefore is an illusion.

ac1d3bc0-5bae-4dac-921e-8c1c4d9f64e1Ethereal harmonies
Appearing in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is one, you do not perceive music to be a means to joy, but as a means to be reminded of the airy music full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the inner world of the senses, that opens up when the outer senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense that the first sentence of this quote refers to ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´, and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

As Alexius has no intellectual knowledge of religious scripts most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to inner music.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise canceling headphones is a great way to close the outer sense of hearing. Alexius personally prefer in-ear headphones though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way of closing the outer sense of hearing and open the inner one is to put both thumbs in your ears or simply use a noise canceling headphone or an in-ear headphone, and then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal harmonies coming to you from what may seem to be far away.

For tuning in it is best not go with the vibrations appearing to come from the left ear, as they often are the sounds of a busy mind, but instead follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of your right ear. That being said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies but the humming symbolised by ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´. If so, follow this glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one.

It could also be that the only thing you ´hear´ is your thoughts. But you have no thoughts. That is just something the ego wants you to believe, so that although they just like a dream are not made by someone definitive, they seem to be your creation.

As the ego lives from separation, it cannot survive inclusion, so if thoughts are not avoided but included, the ego is no more. And as that means there is nobody to confirm you as somebody special, there is nobody to be disturbed by thoughts. Hence empty space can be heard as eternal harmonies – or if in touch with one of the other inner senses, it can be experienced as light, eternal sweetness or sublime intimacy.

In hack #3.6 Phasing out the personality by not being exclusive specifically and all over hack #3, Being inclusive and not exclusive you can read more about how inclusiveness undoes the belief in separation.

Tasting the sweetness of life helps you to not focus on the world of the outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner ones become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outer senses. Since this results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no differentiation between you and the world where you experience to be. Hence there is no doubt, you are everything that you see. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The taste of life
Appearing in the world as a symbol of oneness you are not tasting the most exquisite food to get delicate experiences from that, but to be reminded about the taste of life, which in the world can be compared to the taste from foam of a milkshake with a few drops of honey added to it or to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»A land flowing with milk and honey« Exodus 3:8

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

To compare a taste to something else is a very individual thing, so you may not compare the inner taste to that of liquorice.

To describe a taste by comparing it to another taste is a very individual thing. In other words, you may not compare the taste of life to a taste of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in the old scriptures you should not expect it to make you more young or inject you with more energy in the world of the outer senses. Anyway, you are better off never to expect more of anything, as that which is you is no different from that which is one, and since it is formlessness and therefore endless there is no more than that which is one. Hence looking for more is an illusion based on the belief that is more than that which is one.

One way of undoing this belief is to not focus, because without it a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be perceived, and so it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately the taste of life is very beneficial in regards to defocussing.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of life, provided you are already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted or most teas including liquorice.

As already mentioned, the taste of life can be compared to enjoying the transparent taste from the foam of a sweet milkshake. Sometimes, however, it is with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry or mint, so you none of the descriptions of it are definitive. In any case it is best not to compare the taste of life or other glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and therefore cancels out the ever-present glimpses of enlightenment.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inner sense of taste does not only stop the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example more sweets. The taste of life is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste dripping from above. If you cannot get your tongue all the way, it is not a problem, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it.

The taste of life unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there, because it cutbacks the need to focus and also the longing for more. As a side effect it diminishes the craving for sweets as well. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques will work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe several months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way, which may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

You do not have to literally replicate the technique in above quote, where the taste of life is called Khechari Mudra. Neither do you actually need to be able to make the tongue go all the way behind the uvula. Pushing it as far as possible will do.

The way to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of its facets is not about perfection. Neither is it about how you breath, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outer senses. Yet things like that may be helpful in order to deactivate the outer senses.

But no technique in the world of the outer senses can deactivate them, if that is not the intention of executing the technique. In other words, first step is solely about intention, and if that is to deactivate the outer senses, there is nothing to hinder your trip into the world of the inner senses. Second step is to devote yourself to the amazing journey there.

The above about steps only applies to having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and not to bidding it welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

It is probably best to not be active in the world of the outer senses, while having visions of light, as the visual glimpses of enlightenment can become so intense, that the world of the outer senses hardly is sensed.

When the belief in being in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone, there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

The technique for tasting the sweetness of life, however, can be carried out while being active in the world of the outer senses. The same applies to enjoying the ethereal harmonies, if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears, and also hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises.

This may result in the experience a world that seems less defined, but not to the extent that you cannot navigate in it. Yet it probably feels like you do not have to, and that you are carried around in a dream with no will of its own.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, and so you will no longer appear to be someone in a dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, neither will you appear to be in oneness, since that requires more than one.

In other words, you are not someone at all and there is no memory or consciousness of you ever having been that, because it was all make-believe and the belief is wiped out.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outer senses that you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry but in focus, so that the experience becomes definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inner senses. Hence mixing the two worlds does not work out.

Focus versus defocus
The world of the outer senses needs you constantly concentrate and focus on it, as if you are an autonomous creature in control of your own life. In the world of the inner senses it is the other way around. It reveals itself when there is no effort to focus, concentrate and control.

But since it is also an act of control to continually trying not to focus in order to see, hear, feel or taste the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, so besides from getting a headache spreading out from the third eye from too much focus, the inner senses are fenced off.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inner and outer senses, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outer senses and space out in the world of the inner ones, when nothing is required of you.

How to make this work between the inner an outer sense Alexius does not know, because through his connection with the empty breath, that functions as an automatic gear shifting between the inner and outer senses, it is automatically being take care of. See the last paragraph about the empty breath.

The belief that there is more than one blocks out that which is one
In a world, where there seems to be more than one, the mixing of things may turn out to work well for you. But not in the world of oneness. As it requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of mixing the different facets of the enlightenment of that which is one fences it off.

That being said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits in regards to defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of enlightenment.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, there is no more than that which is one.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, that there is no more than that which is one.

Ways to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one
Can the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, only be undone via the inner senses? No, it can also be undone though the world of the outer ones as described in the duality hacks called Pretending to be a personTo see symbols of life in the world, Being inclusive and not exclusive and Being alone together. See hack #1-3 + 8. Or in as described in the extra duality hacks and more duality hacks.

There might be other hacks than those to have this belief undone. But as Alexius has not tried them, he cannot say if they work. Yet, the hacks based on second-hand knowledge from Buddhism and whatnot are is most likely fake – especially if those promoting the hacks have beautiful visions about a hypothetical better future full of love, bliss and happiness, because there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, to be blissful, happy or full of love is an illusion, as it requires more than one to be anything at all.

The connection with the empty breath does not unite the outer and the inner senses but it makes them synchronised, which among other things means that what you used to judge as stressful in the low frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressing, when synched with the high frequency world of the inner senses, because of the indifference coming from the empty breath.

Connecting with the empty breath is like going into a driverless car programmed to return to that which is one
The empty breath
´lifts´ you out of the belief in being someone definitive by automatically synchronise the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one become the basis for interpreting the world of the outer senses.

It is like being transported in driverless car, that is programmed to take you to the aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one that attracts the most, so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

You can read especially about the empty breath in hack #4-7, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.. NOTES ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from where the quotes in this article are taken. He found them all by searching the internet.

When everything is included there does not appear to be something outside of you, neither inside of you, as that requires there something to be outside of you. In other words, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius do not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions, neither new age philosophy, as they in general appear to be about excluding what is judge to be bad in order to become what is judged to be better, purer or higher. Yoga techniques for example are often based on meditation or something else where what is not one is excluded. Theoretically speaking this should leave out everything but the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness cannot exclude anything, this is not what you get from being exclusive.

NOTES ABOUT WHERE THE DUALITY HACKS COME FROM
The next article Where do the hacks of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings come from is an exploration of this.

OTHER NOTES:

++ A reintroduction to the inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it

Inner visions of light of anything at all is not the enlightenment of that which is one, as it takes more than one to have a vision. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As it takes more than one to have a vision, no matter how impressive your inner visions of light may be, they are not the enlightenment of that which is one but glimpses of it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outer senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling it. But if those senses are turned inwards instead, the enlightenment of that which is one is revealed through seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it.

And then again it is not exactly like this, because the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced at all, since it takes more than one to experience something.

Someone, who believes to be definable, cannot gracefully fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one. Yet someone who believes to be definable can learn how to have this belief undone.

Yet the entrance to the enlightenment of that which is one, which is a hole that sometimes is black and other times full of lucid colours, is something that can be experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it. This is not the enlightenment of that which is one though but glimpses of it coming through the ´hole´ leading into it. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole.

Having visual glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one can to be an experience of travelling through lucid worlds with ever-changing flashes of light. The moment those flashes of light are not perceived to differ from each other, there is no separation to define you as someone definitive anymore.

When you play a game, you may forget where you actually are. One of the ways to remember it is to undo the knowledge of what and where you appear to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As that means there is nobody experiencing anything, there is not someone to fight that the construction of thoughts which seem to have replaced the formlessness of that which is one with someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one is abruptly extracted by the extremely bright white light, that the glimpses have turned into without you being aware of it, as none of this is not happening in linear time but in one perpetual present.

In other words, everything you ever have believed to be is gone without you knowing it or having any memory of ever having believed to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more, because there is no experience to hide that which always has been and always will be, since it is formless and therefore endless, namely that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced
Most, however, work against the flow enlightenment, which is done by defining what there seem to be to see, hear, feel or taste as something that is similar to past experiences, so that the enlightenment of that which is one is fragmented into more than one, wherefore the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is not undone.

And as the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be bid welcome without having this belief undone for just one moment, you only had glimpses of it, and therefore do not know what it is.

If you for a moment forget what and where you appear to be, there is not someone hiding the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you for a moment forget what and where you appear to be, there is not someone appearing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is not of a world where there seems to be more than one, someone believing to be there cannot be enlightened. But if you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, there is not a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are not enlightened, because enlightenment is not something definitive. Yet, there are vague memories of the enlightenment of that which is one, so you are to be compared to it.

This, however, would have been the same result if the belief in being someone definitive momentarily had been undone, because then there is not someone to know the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, what you believe to be can never be enlightened. Yet it is possible to momentarily forget what and where you are, so that there is nothing for the enlightenment of that which is one to gracefully transport through a hole that is not there into the formlessness of that which is one.

What you believe to be is therefore not enlightened, so if returning as someone definitive to a world where there seems to be more than one, you are just the same – except that vague memories of that which is one turn being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one into something you pretend to be, because you know there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Hence you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is comparable to a movie trailer, which is just a glimpse of a whole movie, and therefore not to be confused with the whole one.

To round off, as the enlightenment of that which is one has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example traveling through lucid worlds of light – has a beginning and an end. Hence they can be experienced by someone definitive. See also the article The enlightenment of that which is one versus glimpses of it.

If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you seem to see an ´E´ here, you are focusing in order to see something recognisable, so that you can hide the empty space by imagining there is something there. The empty space is not the formlessness of that which is one, but when you do not imagined a world defined by time and space to be there, no elements of matter are experienced to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Partial devotion to the inner senses results in glimpses of enlightenment
In order to experience that you are someone substantial in a world defined by time and space, constant focus on something specific is required for the outer senses to fabricate the depth needed to make the experience appear dimensional – otherwise the outer senses cannot fabricate this illusion.

So the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outer senses is complemented with the abstract world of the inner senses, where you are bid welcome by glimpses of light, if you are visual minded, ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and the taste or feeling of that which is one in case you are emotional minded.*

The purpose of the inner senses and its glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is to attract you to such an extent, that you cannot help yourself but to have them undo the belief that it is possible to be someone definitive, even though it means the end of what you believe to be – just like a moth cannot help but to follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is gonnal be the end of it.

The idea of mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music for example, as this will imply they are separated. Just welcome whatever glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, that seems to come your way. Never try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it after a while changes into another aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one, go with that.

What you believe to be is a hallucination, that seems to cover the enlightenment of that which is one – also if you believe to be spiritual, because any belief requires more than one.

These glimpses are, as already stated, not the enlightenment of that which is one, since it has no room for someone with an awareness, as that requires more than one. This does not mean that the person you believe to be is replaced by the enlightenment of that which is one, but that whatever you believe to be is an illusion.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inner senses is just a side effect, that helps you not to care about physicality and its inevitable end.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The inner senses and the body
Devotion to the inner senses will heal your body, if that is not the purpose of it. It may not include genetic caused diseases though. But as devotion to the inner senses calms the body, a genetic caused disease will not seem to generate fear, which otherwise may further damage the body, if projected upon it (see the hack No Body-mind Connection in Extra duality Hacks about the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection).

When, however, the wellbeing of the body is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inner senses, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inner senses, since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inner senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one
Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, that right away erases all memories of you being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. As you are not there anymore, there is no way of knowing how long time this takes.

When the enlightenment of that which is one lasts less than 28 minutes – measured in linear time – the body, that appeared to be your home as someone definitive, can be rebooted, so that you again appear to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, you will, as already stated, not appear to be enlightened, as that is not an appearance. Thus you seem to be just like any other human, even though you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

But if the enlightenment of that which is one last longer than 28 minutes, the body cannot be rebooted, and as the belief that you are someone definitive therefore cannot be confirmed by the experience of being substantial, there is nothing to hide the formlessness of that which is one and that it is no different from that which always has been and always will be you. There is of course nobody to be aware of this, since it takes more than one to be aware about something.

The appearance of you as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication constructed from thoughts, where some are chosen to be included, as if they are that which is you, and others are excluded, as if they are not you but somebody else. By not excluding specific thoughts but including them all, you become everything and you also lose the appearance of being someone specific, because there are no excluded thoughts to define you as someone definitive. In other words, inclusion excludes what is not real, so there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is you. Enlightenment of that which is one does the same, and so do the other ´ways´ suggested in my non teachings. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The appearance of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication of thoughts. The ones you judge to be good are chosen to be included and the ones judged as bad ones to be excluded. The excluded ones produce what you consider others to be and what you are not, so if no thoughts are excluded, there is nobody to define you as separated from others. Inclusion therefore excludes what is not real, namely separation, so that there is not something to hide there is no more than that which is one. Bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one has the same result, and so does the implementation of the other ´ways´ of coming back to that which is one suggested in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings.

Is the enlightenment of that which is one required to have the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone?
The enlightenment of that which is one can be said to be the last step to the formlessness of oneness, but as formlessness is endless, you have never left it, so there is no step back to it, and therefore no need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one in anyone of its aspects, or to have glimpses of it*.

Neither do you have to be connected with the empty breath or devote yourself to the inner senses in order to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. It can undone while enjoying the world of the outer senses. In the below box there are some suggestions of how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses to not make a difference, the more the outer senses function as a set-off to that which is one (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment and hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss).

The same applies to pretending to be a person (hack #1.5 Pretending to be a person and hack #1.6 Pretending is a way out of duality) or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 To see symbols of life in the world and hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

But you do not even need Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings to have this belief undone. All what is needed is to not remember what and where you are, since that means there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one before you give up seeing something specific, and there is an abrupt shift to the enlightenment of that which is one, that extracts all the info you have collected in order to appear as someone definitive and leave it at the edge of what appears to be a black hole, so that there is nothing falling through it and gracefully floating into the formlessness of that which is one. You do not know how fast this is happening, because you are no more and have no conscious of ever having been anybody, because there is nothing but that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted – or that you know how to find it again – which is simply is to go with the flow of fear. And yes, there is also fear in that which is one. No worries. It cannot be experienced there. That is not possible, since it would require more than one. It is, however, possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be part of world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Multitasking the inner and outer senses
Much devotion to the world of the inner senses may space you out in regards to the present moment in the world of the outer senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you just go with the flow of the inner senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But if you want to go on appearing as someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is of course best to totally focus on the world of the outer senses, so that the abstractness of the inner world does not interfere with your plans for having more money, power, love, life, energy and whatnot.

Should you, however, become tired of the race for more, you multitask between the inner and outer senses, so that being loaded with glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses make you indifferent to the constant demand for more in the world of the outer senses.

If you do not want the belief in being someone definitive to be abruptly undone by the enlightenment of that which is one, multitasking between the inner and outer senses may be the approach for you, as that allows you to have this belief undone in a pleasant pace while having a good time pretending to be what you are not.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain, so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why, it is very helpful in regards to having the belief in being someone definitive undone  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outer senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath.

When you are multitasking the world of the inner and outer senses with the help of the empty breath thoughts are not considered to be yours, so nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

The empty breath automatically synchronise the outer and the inner senses, so that everything feels just fine, nothing is wrong or missing. This is not the purpose of the empty breath though. Its purpose is to undo the belief in being someone definitive, but this is a lot easier not fighting to survive as someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outer senses
Those not connected with the empty breath are often tempted to skip the part of having the belief in being someone specific undone and instead use their own special blend of the outer and inner senses as the means to fabricate their special version of paradise.

The purpose of this often is to establish themselves as a spiritual helper, but as there only is somebody to help, when you believe in separation, your so-called compassion and help enhances the suffering that this belief entails (see the article Coming from the heart is denial of that which is one). Besides there is no paradise without hell, since a world where there seems to be more than one can only be experienced through contrasts.

It is common to think, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Yet you do not appear as someone specific in a world where there seem to be more than one to find more, but to see there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

So instead of using the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to establish an image of yourself as a new messiah full of love and light, use the vitalization you have gotten from them to not hide but expose the frustration the endless speculation that the belief in be someone definitive entails, so that the energy of chaos can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

The moment you have no need give or receive help or support, the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone.

As the inner senses operates on a very high frequency speedy thoughts and feelings seem to be at rest there. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connection with the empty breath automatically synchs the outer and inner senses, and as the latter are operating at an extreme high frequency, the restless speculations in the low-frequency world of the outer senses do not seem to cause confusion but relaxation, and so the apparent differences of the world experienced with the outer senses slowly cease to make a difference. Thus the foundation for the belief in separation fades out, and so there is nobody to imagine that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you are do not feel the empty breath multitasking connects you with it.

Read about how to connect with the empty breath in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´. For a general introduction to the empty breath check the articles The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´, ´The empty breath´ sets the body freeThe nature of ´the empty breath´ and The function of ´the empty breath´. If you want to read Alexius experience of the empty breath check out What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?

A perfect moment is a state of not-knowing
Having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is a perfect moment in the sense that nothing feels wrong. As there is no sense of anything having a beginning or end, it may last longer than the concept of now, which is just a split second in between the past and the future. In other words, the concept of now is based on excluding the past and the future, where as a perfect moment includes that and everything else.

When differences are not perceived to make a difference, the foundation for the belief in separation is gone. So everything outside of you is inside of you, where is nothing since without an outside there is no inside. In other words, if you do not return from this state of not-knowing to a world where there seems to be more than one, there is nothing to hide there is no more than that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Hence it makes no difference if there are thoughts about the past, the future or anything else while having glimpses of enlightenment. In fact the most distinctive feature of a perfect moment is that the apparent differences of the world are not perceived to make a difference. Not so much because there is no judgment, but because there is nobody to judge anything, since you are in a state of not-knowing.

That is why, it is not before this state is over, that you know when differences are not perceived to make a difference, you are not experienced to be separated and so there is nobody to judge something as good or wrong.

Since differences are not perceived to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, nobody cares if the bliss of it should differ from one state of not-knowing to another.

Having glimpses of enlightenment you momentarily do not believe to be someone definitive. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing. This state of bliss**, however, I can be induced by any one of the duality hacks, except for the enlightenment of that which is one, since that is not a state. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This state of not-knowing is not only induced by glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one but by the application of any other duality hack (see the table of contents) except for the enlightenment of that which is one, as that is not a state, since it takes more than one to be in a state.

Be happy if you cannot overcome the hopelessness that seems to blow you away when not in a state of not-knowing, because when you are blown away a state of not-knowing returns.

And as nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts, the latter is the reason a state of not-knowing does not last. The brain simple goes into coma, if it for more than 20 minutes, 45 minutes at the most, is not kept active by judging differences to make a difference.***

So if you want to remain as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you must leave the bliss of a perfect moment. But you must also leave it, if you do not want to return as someone definitive but bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because there is no room for bliss or anything else in that which is one.

Being alone together is based on the realisation that the power behind every experience you seem to have is you, regardless it is interpreted as spiritual, mundane or whatnot. Just like every appearance in a dream is both empowered and interpreted by the dreamer. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

Alone together****
Since the apparent differences in what is normally perceived to be a world outside of you is not perceived to make a difference when in a state of not-knowing and as that applies to whatever seems to be inside of what normally is believed to be you, inside and outside is the same – or rather there is no inside and outside or any other contrasts to define you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

You are alone together having a fantasy about being someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one. But no matter what seems to be happening in that fantasy, you are not in it – just like within the context of this fantasy a dreamer is not in its dream although the dream is in the dreamer.****

This you cannot know before you have left a state of not-knowing, and memories starts popping up of how blissful it is to not believe you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.**

There may also be memories of the transition, which can be quite claustrophobic, as there is nobody to project your troubles and sorrows on, since there is nothing but the tight unit of you. But as soon as you start feeling the peace that comes from not feeling disturbed by anybody, this unit is not tight anymore. In fact it is not there at all, because you do not believe to be someone definitive.

When the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one is not perceived to make a difference, you are not separated from what you experience to be a world outside of you. In other words, you are alone together with your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one – and since this is how you imagine to have left the formlessness of oneness, you can reverse this and return to that which you never left, since formlessness is endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As you probably read in the paragraph before this one, you got to leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon, if you want to remain as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither can you stay in this state, if you do not want to return to the fantasy of being someone definitive but to the formlessness of oneness, as being in any kind of state requires more than one.

Staying true to being alone together**** this is not a dilemma, because from this follows you never have been in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like a dreamer within the context of such a world you are in your own bed, which in this context is a metaphor for that which is one. And since oneness is formless and therefore without beginning and end, you have never left it.

The inner senses versus the outer ones

The animation is grabbed from the web.

The animation is grabbed from the web.

The outer senses is not a contrast to the inner senses in the way for example black is to white. It is not that the outer senses are on the outside and the inner senses on the inside. Their names rather mean that the outer senses are geared to experience a world, that is perceived to be outside of you, whereas the inner senses help you to experience a world that does not seems to be separated from you.

The inner senses is used to see a world, that does not appear to be outside of you. But it does not mean it is inside of you. There is neither anything inside or outside, as that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one.

But scientifically speaking the world is 99% empty space and 1% energy, so whatever tangible appearances you seem to experience is make-believe regardless they appear to be outside or inside of you – and it is also make-believe that there is someone, who experience something.

To undo the belief in being someone in a tangible world, it may be beneficial to not only use the outer senses but also the inner ones, as what is experienced with them does not seem tangible, so you may start questioning the existence of a tangible world and you as someone there.

Everything experienced is a deception
Often those having visions via the inner senses conclude, that the world experienced with the outer ones is an illusion, and they are right – but they are not right, when they go on concluding the world experienced with the inner senses is real.

It requires more than one to experience something, and as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, because what is formless is endless, no experience is real. Nevertheless turning down the volume of the outer senses, that in the context of the physical world operate below the eyebrows, and turning up the volume of on the inner ones, which means to partially shift awareness to above the outer senses, makes it easier to undo the belief in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

There is nothing real to find in the world of the outer senses – neither in the world of the inner ones, but there it may be easier to uncover the illusion of the senses, so that there is nothing to hide that which cannot be sensed, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

When you are not experiencing something specific, you are not someone definitive. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Illusions can be used to unveil their illusionary nature
The more you do not try to define anything, which is easier in the world of the inner senses, as there is not so many established concepts about what it is, the less there is someone definitive experiencing anything. And when there is no belief in being someone definitive, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

For some it seem easier having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone in the abstract world of the inner senses. But the belief in separation can also be undone while experiencing the world of the outer senses,

Read for examples the hacks Pretending to be a person, Seeing symbols of life in the world, Inclusiveness is a perfect moment for having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone by using the illusion of such a world, as a means to do that. You can find them in the table of contents.

A body forgotten is an invitation to the enlightenment of that which is one

Your body, that seems to be opaque, consists of 1% energy and 99% empty space. In other words, to believe you are somebody is an illusion. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Your body, that seems to be opaque, consists of 99% empty space and 1% energy according to science. In other words, you must be dreaming if you perceive yourself to be someone tangible. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one does not illuminate anything. It is so bright that there is nothing to see. Besides it requires more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, as what is formless is endless. In other words, if you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one you do not exist, and you know it is so. Why else have everybody throughout history asked the same question: Who am I?

Through ideas of love and friendship you create the illusion, that you are someone definitive, who is part of a world with someone else especially for you.

You make yourself appear to be real by for example searching for who you are, as this implies you are someone definitive, or by working for the survival of you, or simple by doing whatever is necessary to feel part of something, so there appear to be a tangible world around you, that seems to acknowledge the existence of you as someone definitive.

It is the tension, that comes from always doing something to be acknowledged as someone tangible, which seems to hold the body together as a unit defined by time and space. But the more the body is hold together the more the enlightenment of that which is one is fenced out.

When the defenses of the body is down, there does not seem to be someone definitive to hide the hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When the defenses of the body is down, there does not seem to be someone definitive to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The defences of the body breaks down when being in love and/or being loved, so even though love is just as virtual as the body, it is very helpful in order to break down the defences against the enlightenment of that which is one. It does not matter what is loved – it may be sunshine, wine, a pet, a person, a god or whatever. As long as you stick to the love, whether it seems to be returned or not, it will make the body feel good – and feeling good its defences are down, so it does not fight being pushed aside in order to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not full of love
The above should not be understood as the enlightenment of that which is one is full of love. Using love to break down the barriers to the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to using a drilling machine to make in a hole in a wall. When the hole is done it is empty. The drilling machine is not there. Likewise love is not in the enlightenment of that which is one. It is empty.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something. Only the body can be experienced, but what can be is experienced is not one and what is not one is not real.

Neither should it be understood, as you must break down all the defences of the body. It needs them to defend itself against various kinds of sickness. In terms of the enlightenment of that which is one a healthy body is good. Not in the sense though that the body needs to be healthy for the enlightenment of that which is one to be received, as a body cannot receive it. A body has to go, and if it seems healthy, you are not occupied by saving it and therefore free to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one without any concern for the body.

Please be aware that the explanations in this article are done within the context of the world. There is of course no way a body can stop the enlightenment of that which is one. The body is an illusion, and illusions have no power to stop anything. The only problem is that you believe this illusion is real. It is your belief, that blocks out the enlightenment of that which is one – and only in the context of this belief does it make sense, as in the above to talk about the body and love as a solution for breaking down its defences.

+ The nature of ´the empty breath´

9bb611dd-80cb-464c-9536-4b7284e9e1b5

The empty breath is your best friend, although you may not always see it like that, because it does not help you to make the appearance of your body better, neither does it improve the world that appears to be around you. But it guides you in having the belief in being someone definitive undone, so that it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. In other words, it is not a friend that helps you with what to do in the world, but how you perceive it, so you will feel good no matter the condition of your appearance and the apparent surroundings, while having the belief that this is real undone. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Metaphorically speaking you can say, the empty breath is a life jacket you got from that which is one, when you left it to search for more than one. Well, it is not actually possible to leave that which is one, because it is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than that. Yet it is possible to imagine being and having more than that which is one.

When feeling connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same, because you receive what you give and you give what you have, namely the indifference to it.

This life jacket – the empty breath – loves you unconditionally, and thus not bothered with how you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Well, it actually it does not see it, because since it sees no more than that which is one, it sees nothing, as it takes more than one to see something.

To see nothing is to love that which is you without expecting anything in return. So the empty breath does not need your love, but as long as you believe to be someone definitive you need to love it in order to feel unconditionally loved.

Feeling connected with the empty breath, you probably forget to check the lottery. And when you finally remember, you smile regardless you won or not, because when you are in its rhythmic flow, you become indifferent to the world that seems to be outside of you and its apparent demand of being and having more.

When you are connected with the inner breath, you probably forget to check, if you did win a prize in lottery, and when you remember to check it, you smile whether you did win or not, because being connected with the inner breath, you always feel like a winner. But overriding* its guidance, you mostly feel like a loser. The animation is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does not know how to heal your hay fever or anything else caused by the belief in being someone definitive. But it knows how to heal this sick belief. Due to the relaxation coming from the process of healing this, you may suddenly go new ways leading to the healing of your hay fever as well. The animation is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does not heal the body, but the belief that you are in it
The guidance of the empty breath does not include help to achieve more health, money, success, love or anything else conceivable. On the contrary. The guidance of the empty breath is not about your appearance, but about coming back to that which has no appearance, namely the formlessness of that which is one. And this
is not a matter of what you appear to be or have, but how you perceive it.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve your apparent condition or the conditions you experience to surround you, as that would just be to replace one illusion with another. Its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief that there is more than that which is one, so that there is not something appearing to hide there is no more than that which is one, since it is formlessness and therefore endless.

The power of the empty breath remains the same. Yet it its rhythmic flow may be experienced to be weaker, when sick or about to die, as it is synchronised with your apparent condition in the world where you believe to be. But the operator of the empty breath, which is the non-rhythmic energy behind the rhythm of the empty breath (see paragraph of the same name in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?) remains the same and is also experienced like that, when that aspect is what you choose to be connected with.

Love is a need that comes from belief in separation. But as you do not perceive differences to make a difference, when relying on the indifference of the empty breath, to be loved or not is not important.

If you want to uphold your appearance as someone tangible, although this appearance is 99% empty space and 1% energy according to science, my non teachings about the inner breath is not for you. It is not helping you become better or transform anything, but to undo the belief in being someone definitive. The animation is grabbed from the web.

If you want to uphold your appearance as someone tangible, although this appearance is 99% empty space and 1% energy according to science, Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings about the empty breath is not for you. They will not help you to become better or transform you into someone who is part of something higher. But they will help you to have the belief that it is possible to be someone definitive undone, so that there is not something appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is you. The animation is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath will not change or transform anything. Such concepts are based on separation, which is unknown to the empty breath. It knows of nothing but indifference to any difference.

Those advocating ´living in the now´ try to replicate the traits of the empty breath. Yet not by being indifferent to the world of separation fabricated by the brain, but by taking it serious via excluding the past and the future from what they consider to be now, so that it experienced through not being what has been separated from it, instead of not being experienced to differ from any other point in linear time.

The indifference of the empty breath means, that it is all the same whether you think positive or negative, feel loved or hated or to be living in the now or anywhere else within the concept of linear time – not in the sense that these divisions are not experienced to differ from each other but in the sense that the experienced difference makes no difference.

When connected with the empty breath you cannot perceive yourself as someone definitive, and so there is nobody to help or attack you.

Consequently there is no need to fight for a better world, search for a higher consciousness or anything else. This detachment, however, that is a natural trait of the empty breath, cannot be replicated by following guidelines of detachment.

If something seems to trouble you, use the frustration as a take-off to the empty breath, so whatever you think or feel does not appear to make a difference.

To transform or in any other way change what what you appear to makes no difference because all appearances are nothing but a construction of thoughts. Therefore my non teachings are not concerned about what you think or how much you think, but that you belief that you are thinking. When that belief is undone, thoughts do not seem to have any power anymore.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are not concerned about what you appear to think or how much you seem to think, but that you believe to be thinking. When this belief is undone, thoughts do not seem to have the power to manifest anything. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You do not need to stop thoughts to connect with the empty breath – neither will it stop thoughts
You may have noticed that there is nothing about transformation, transcendence or another ways of changing what you appear to be in the articles about the empty breath. That is because changing something in a world where there seems to be more than one is just a replacement one illusion with another.

Neither is there anything about stopping thoughts or having to think positive, as this is not a concern of the empty breath. Whatever thoughts are passing by makes no difference, unless they are considered to be produced by someone definitive.

In other words, it is not thoughts that needs to be stopped, but the belief that there is someone thinking them. This is the concern of the empty breath, namely to undo the belief in being someone, who is able to think, feel and do something as if being an autonomously creature.

The inner breath has nothing to do with what you eat, how you dress or if walk or sit. Neither has it anything to do with meditation but to being a medium of it. In other words, it is given to you when you are not be someone specific but nobody.

Connecting with the empty breath has nothing to do with what you eat, how you dress or what you think. Neither has it anything to do with meditation but everything to do with being a medium, which you are when willing to not be someone definitive, neither in a mundane or so-called spiritual way. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Taking deep breaths or in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial in regards to connecting with the empty breath, as doing so enhances the belief in being special.

The same applies to being centred, balanced, focused or any other kind of being, as it is the willingness to not be anything at all that bids welcome the empty breath.

This willingness does not come from forcing the body into special yoga postures, neither by controlling the mind, but thrust the uncontrolled flow of it to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, whether you walk, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

To make long short, the empty breath does not know that you assign special meaning to the emptiness of thoughts, so that they appear to manifest you as someone definitive in a tangible world, that is experienced to consists of physical elements instead of empty space.

Feeling connected with the empty breath you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a video game, because you know it is all make-believe.

All that it knows is that there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is one, and all that it wants is to expose, the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made out of nothing. That is why it breathes nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be.

Being indifferent does not mean that you do not feel happy or sad. The apparent difference just does not make a difference. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Being indifferent does not mean, that there are no feelings. There may be seem to be feelings of for example happiness or sadness. Yet the apparent difference between them does not make a difference, when applying the duality hacks, for example the empty breath, or pretending to be someone definitive instead of believing it, or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one. The animation is grabbed from the web.

NOTES ABOUT INDIFFERENCE:
Being indifferent does not mean, that you do not feel the apparent difference between for example love and hate, but because there is no need to be acknowledged as someone definitive when connected with the empty breath, you do not consider one of them to be better than the other. In other words, you are indifferent to what feeling you explore.

This indifference also comes from pretending to be a person instead of believing to be one. And it comes from perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, the apparent differences in the world makes no difference.

You can read more about this in hack #1.5 Pretending to be a person and hack #1.6 Pretending is a way out of duality, or in hack #2.1 To see symbols of life in the world and hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of lifeor in hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment and hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss.

++ What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath is not restricted to being something specific, so it cannot be felt as something definitive. Yet it can be felt anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside your body – but never as if it is constantly the same, although it is constantly there.

The empty breath can be felt in many different ways within its non-definable framework of a ball like thing, that passes through the head – or above it – and the stomach or below it. It can therefore be felt inside as well as and outside of what is perceived to be your body. The empty breath, however, does not perceive any difference between inside and outside.

This is not so because the empty breath sees everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as energy, but because it everything there – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – as an illusion (see All experiences are equally unreal), as it takes more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one, since oneness is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, everything experienced is construction made from nothing but empty space (see the article ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be, that is a preface to this one).

Having an out-of-body experience is based on the belief that you are someone in a body, which is the opposite of the experience that comes from the connectedness with the empty breath, as it undoes the belief that you are someone definitive. See also the article Believing to be in or outside the body is equally insane.

Feeling it the empty breath is not an out-of-body experience, but rather an experience of being indifferent to the body as well as any other appearance – including your loved ones and whatnot. This does not mean that you do not take care of the body, loved ones and whatnot, but that it makes no difference, if doing so seems to pay off.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears to be disturbing, but trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying is delaying, so you want to be disturbed.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else in a fixed position. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience of it may change from moment to moment, as if it is in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of the body within the non-definable framework of it. If your experience, however, differ from the descriptions in this article, go with flow of it as it is experienced in your biological system.

Feelings are subjective
If you are very future minded the empty breath may be felt as coming from somewhere in front of you, whereas being minded towards the past it may be felt to come from back of you. And if you are into the concepts of living in the now, being centred and balanced, it may be felt as it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of it is coloured by own your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath, because contrary to you it has no need to be acknowledged as special. So whether you experience it in the stomach, the chest, inside or outside of the body it carries out its one and only purpose, namely to make you indifferent to the apparent different experiences in the world where you believe to be.

One way to get in touch with the indifference of the empty breath is to replicate the below descriptions of it. Just remember, as the empty breath is not static, the experienced of it is bound to change from moment to moment and there may be more ways to experience it than described in this article.

No worries. Feeling the empty breath is not about approaching it in the right way, but going with the flow. It is only in the world of the outer senses, you must to do the right thing so you can feel better than those judged to be wrong.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to its indifference and the less you feel a need to appear as someone who makes a difference.

I am not a talented illustrator, so instead of making an illustration of the inner breath, I have manipulated an image found on the internet in order to give you an idea of the simultaneously movements inside it.

This is a scientific image found on the internet that Alexius has manipulated in order to give you an idea of the simultaneously movements inside the empty breath.

A basic intro to the non-definitive form of the empty breath
The empty breath has the form of a ball with lots of circles moving inside it, but contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Neither do the circles inside it, and there are so many that there is no space between them. Nor are they empty. Each one of them contains two yin yang like waves, looking a bit like in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that the edges of it are blurry but that neither the size or shape is constant. It may grow bigger and smaller and not necessarily all over, so that momentarily it feels to be more pear-shaped than circular.

The biggest part of the pear-shape can be positioned in the top as well as in the bottom, in the sides or anywhere in between. And as the apparent centre of each one of the circles appearing to be inside the non-definitive ball, that makes up the empty breath, are floating around, there is no fixed centre.

Even though there appear to be so many circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath, that are moving in each their own direction with each their own yin yang like formed waves inside them, they are actually fused into one movement of two yin yang like waves moving in all directions – at bit like in the next animation or in the second to last animation of this article.

But as the above is very difficult to comprehend in a world where life seems to be divided into more than one, most will probably not feel the totality of the empty breath (see the simulation of this in the illustrations of the paragraphs The swing of the empty breath and The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing further down the article).

The empty breath has no specific centre and though it seems to consists of many different movements in each their own size and shape, everything is actually fused into one singular movement. As this may be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one you most likely just experience one of its aspects.

They may instead feel the movement of a separate circles with yin yang like waves inside the empty breath – most likely one that is circling from the abdomen or stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head or above it when breathing in, and from there going in a circular movement in front the body back to the stomach or abdomen when breathing out.

This circular movement can also be felt the other way around. The direction does not matter. What is important is to connect with the empty breath in whatever way you sense its flow. Going with the flow in this way feels like surfing the empty breath. Another way to feel it is to feel the swing of it, which contrary to sensing a circular movement in and out of the body is rather a feeling of having two very soft sticks swinging inside the body – up and down and back and forth at the same time.

Be aware though that feeling the empty breath as described in this article is only possible to the extent that you do not you care about being or having more of anything, whether that appears to be spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic.

The five main ways of feeling the empty breath
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the paragraph with the same name) or the indifference of it (check the paragraph The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference) is a state of not-knowing that seems very still, whereas the state of no-knowing that comes from the rhythmic flow of it seems more dynamic.

The rhythm of the empty breath can be heard as a distant sound (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the paragraph The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin yang like waves inside and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

d76fd0833b28d1db146c08a2dd2057d91-2

Each of the circles in the non definable ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consist of two yin yang like looking waves (but without the two holes), that are not fixated and probably moves in sync with the breath – or rather the breath moves in sync with them. It is therefore not so much about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath, which may feel like surfing the outside of two yin yang like waves more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

Surfing the empty breath
As you can see in the illustration above to the right there are many circles inside the empty breath. What you cannot see though in the illustration is that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre and each of them contains two non-definitive waves (see the above image), that can be surfed. Please notice that although the waves looks like the two parts of an yin yang sign, they have no holes. And as they actually are colourless, the colours in the images of this article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the body is expanded by the breath, you surf the outside of the yellow wave, that starts from the abdomen or stomach and then go behind the body into the head or on top of it. From there you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body, while the breath is contracting the body, until you come back to the stomach or abdomen. That is if you are sensing the waves in a circle going from the back to the front of the body.

Besides surfing the waves in that circle, you can surf the waves in a circle going from the left to the right side of the body and anywhere in between these circles. No matter what circle you are surfing, you mostly feel the waves in the circular movement outside the body.

It is not about being in total synch with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body but to follow the flow of the waves, which makes you forget the physical breath, so it is not interrupted by you being stressed or trying to impose ideas of balance, tranquillity and whatnot upon it.

Maybe the most joyous way to go with the flow of the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue going the whole way around the other one, more or less in accordance with the breath extracting and contracting the body. Other even more joyous ways may reveal itself to you.

Should probably write in, that Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outer senses – only in the world of the inner senses – so it is purely an imagined thing that it feels the same.

You can also surf the opposite way than described in the above. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so this might speed up undoing the belief in being someone defined by time and space. But as already said, there is no right way of doing it. Going with the flow of the empty breath you will soon be indifferent to what is right or wrong.

You cannot be someone definitive, when going with the flow of the empty breath, so the belief in being someone separated from the formlessness of that which is one is slowly but surely being undone.

Besides it is not like in the world of the outer senses, where a wrong movement, when surfing waves like these, could be fatal, so no need to go too much into details about it.

Going with the flow without knowing where and why.

Generally speaking you will, as already stated, mostly feel the flow of the waves in one circle – probably the one going from the back to the front of the body or the other way around – but you can also jump from circle to circle or feel them all simultaneously. It is not important. Neither is it important to know all this.

As it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that feeling something is possible, so the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

Alexius was not aware of the empty breath in such a detailed way as described in this article, before he started writing it and took a closer look at the empty breath in order to pinpoint it. Normally he just follow the flow of it without thinking about direction and whatnot, because in his case the flow mostly results in a sense of indifference.

But if you want, it is possible to be a bit more choosy. You can surf both sides of just one of the waves in a circle, for example the wave in the back of you, if you seem to have problems with the past, or tend to be too much future oriented, or have a back pain that may benefit from being massaged by the empty breath.

You can also surf a wave on top of you, if you tend to feel down, or surf a wave passing the abdomen, if you need to be grounded. To be more or less intuitive or fact minded (the right or left side of the brain), you could surf one of the waves going sideways in relation to the body.

Even though there are many possibilities, it is not commendable to choose anything, but to go with the flow as it comes to you, because that sets the body free to heal itself (see the article ´The empty breath´ sets the body free). Neither is it commendable trying to capture all the details about the empty breath in this article, as an intellectual understanding will not help you to feeling the connectedness with the empty breath. On the contrary.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is not possible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath, as it has no definable form or movement. This animation, however, may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels like it is coming from a non-definitive curved line, that is to be compared to the line in between the two forms of an yin and yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in an yin yang sign the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but rather a non-definable ball, wherein there are many circles with each their own curved line. Depending on where a circle is located in regards to the body the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able to really illustrate this, neither that though the swing of it is extremely powerful inside the non-definitive ball, the experience of it is that it is not in no way in a hurry to expand and contract the body.

The swing of the empty breath
What is said in the above about surfing the empty breath is generally speaking also applicable to feeling the swing of it, except that it is felt solely inside the body, where the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two waves is sensed as a swing, that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. But due to the limited size of the body, this line is felt less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described above.

The steady swing of the empty breath, may seem to expand and contract the body slower than you were used to, when you assumed you were in charge of breathing. Yet the swing of the empty breath probably feels very powerful – so much indeed that in the beginning it feels like the body does not have enough room for it. Maybe it also feels as if the break in between expansion and contraction is too long.

Just like surfing the empty breath can be done with any of the circles within the non-definitive borderline of the empty breath, the swing of it can be felt through the movement of the curved line floating in the middle of any one of these circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front in relation to the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, as you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it may be so alien to you that you probably prefer following the swing of the empty breath in one direction at a time.

Alexius experience the swing of the empty breath merged into one simultaneously movement, that feels like no movement at all, when listening to the opening of the opera ´Ahhnaten´ by Philip Glass.

If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all its directions simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as if everything is spinning – see the speedy animation just below – but it quickly turns into a feeling of everything standing still – see the third image from here – and you feel breathless and indifferent to whatever you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm, that with much force expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle and probably felt to be slower than you are used to – unlike the driving force behind the rhythm of the empty breath, that is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball of it. Even though the particles of this force is moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is a subtle relief to merge with this apparent chaos, as that prevents you from focussing on anything specific and instead feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

The operator of the empty breath
Besides from feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing on the outer sides of two yin yang like waves in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy at the root of the empty breath is not in line with the rhythm of the breath. Yet it is the force behind it. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here, there and everywhere or as if spinning through a world with no limits.

There are no rules, but it could very well be, that a take-off to ´the empty breath´ will take you to this aspect of the empty breath … and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit into the rigid world of the outer senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath but like surfing its waves, this force is felt both inside and outside of the body. It is probably easier to feel this very subtle energy outside of the body, because there the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch it, but go with its fleetness, it feels like you are a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the fleetness of the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you may be transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of it.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where you most likely land after igniting it is therefore a good starting point, if you want to feel the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you out of habit try to focus on the empty breath in order to hear the transparent sound of it (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, your effort to pinpoint it will fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach these aspects is therefore to start in the chaos at the root of the empty breath – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all over – as that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, and so there is not something definitive to block out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

Hearing/feeling the sound of the inner breath, you feel transparent, as if there is nothing to separate you from where you appear to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Hearing or feeling the sound of the empty breath, you feel transparent, as if there is nothing to separate you from the appearances in the world of the outer senses. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The transparent sound of the empty breath
Just like the rhythm of a bass is not only heard but also felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath. It sounds like ´so´ when it expands the body and ´ham´ when contracting it.

Sometimes this rhythmic sound of ´so-ham´ seems to come from the nose and sometimes from an undefined space in the back of the head, but not like it is inside it, neither outside of it, because it feels like the head has no boundaries. At other times it seems to come from a distant space outside of you, as if the breath has nothing to do with your appearance in a body.

Feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a powerful experience like feeling the rhythm of a bass, since it cancels out the feeling of being in a specific body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa for example does not seem to be differ from the body sitting in it.

This is basically because, when connected with the empty breath the brain does not create a conscious experience of the signals hitting the sensory system of the body. Thus there is nobody to divide them into judgments of inside and outside, good and bad, high and low and so on. Hence the apparent difference in the world of the outer senses makes no difference.

Read more about empty space in the articles Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ and ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be.

Since this means there is nothing to define a world defined by time and space, it becomes obvious that it is a fantasy made from empty space. But just like the physical reality of a game is the same whether you believe it is real or not, the physical reality of a world defined by time and space remains the same, when you grasp it is an illusion. Your relation with it, however, is forever hanged. As you know it is not real is not real you just pretend to be there (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be a person).

Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because this rhythm will end when the body ends.

As a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath as it manifest in the body. so it is not the end of you when the body cannot function anymore. In that moment it is better to merge with non rhythmic and very chaotic energy that generates the rhythm of the empty breath, or go with the indifference of the empty into the enlightenment of that which is one.

From the transparent sound of the empty breath you may naturally float into glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which the visual minded will experience as visions of light and the auditory minded as ethereal harmonies. If you are more emotional minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises or taste the sweetness of life.

Glimpses of for example the visual aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one will merge into one, if not interpreted as something specific. The same applies to the glimpses of it that you hear, feel or taste. Hence there is no experience of that which is you being different from that which is one, so nothing seems to hide never was and never will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

There is more about the different aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one in the article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment, and more about the enlightenment of that which is one in hack #4-7.2 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one.

The empty breath is not an appearance that can be fabricated by the manipulating the physical breath or by exercising any other form of control.

Hearing or feeling the empty breath is not something that can be provoked by the execution of specific exercises. It is the other way around. When you are not looking for something specific, the empty breath can move on its own accord.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say, that techniques cannot be helpful in regards to tone down the outer senses, so that it is easier to get in tune with the empty breath. Unfortunately most forget, that those techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like the music you listen to after having activating it from a remote control is not coming from it.

1b

Everything fabricated – like for example this illustration of an yin yang sign – is expected to have a perfect appearance, so it supplies the belief, that you are someone special. But this is not the purpose of the empty breath. On the contrary. Its purpose is to undo the belief, that you are someone at all, which it does by helping you to see, the apparent differences in the world do not make a difference, and so it does not matter, if something appears to be perfect or not.

It is not about perfection
If you want to appear as someone important in the low-frequency world of the outer senses you must come out as if you are perfect, but in the high frequency world of the inner senses there is nothing important to be, so no perfection is needed – neither to feel the empty breath, which is the meeting point between the worlds of the outer and inner senses. All what is needed to feel it, while appearing to be in the world of the outer senses, is that your intention is to not appear as someone specific.

When people tell you to slow down and relax, they take away your only way to relaxation, because that comes from speeding up thoughts and feelings to the point of desperation, as that will make them ignite a take off to ´the empty breath´, that will synchronise the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high frequency world of the inner senses, so that speedy thoughts and feelings are not felt to cause stress but tranquility.

Whatever seems to disturb you in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressful, when the empty breath synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses – and so you slowly but surely become indifferent to your interpretation of you and others in the world of the outer senses.

Once connected with the empty breath – even just for a split second – you are embraced by it, and so no matter if you remember it or whatever you seem to think, feel or do, it remains your guide. In other words, forgetting the empty breath does not change anything, except that you will not feel the lightness of its indifference until igniting a take-off to it.

At times you may feel so pissed, that you do not want the guidance of the empty breath, because you know it will make you indifferent to those you blame for having pissed you off, so you actively override its flow* in order to make sure that those you have judged to cause injustice will get their punishment.

But as what you want for others is what you get yourself, you may be the one suffering the most. That is until you have had enough of trying to manipulate the world into appearing the way you decide is best and instead use your frustrations to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference
The nature of the empty breath is not happiness but indifference, and as this releases you from the boundaries of a world defined by time and space, it may feel like as if you are in a merry-go-round world.

The inner breath gives you nothing but indifference, which is no different from life, because it is indifferent to death or any other concept.

The empty breath gives you nothing but indifference, ergo it gives you nothing but life, as that is formless and consequently indifferent to death or anything else appearing to be definable.

The empty breath is indifferent to differences, so if you do not fence it off by trying to exclude what you judge as negative in order to appear as if you are only positive, whatever you seem to feel will be interpreted by the indifference of the empty breath. Consequently feeling happy or sad is the same. Not in the sense that happiness and sadness feels the same, but in the sense that the apparent difference makes no difference.

But feelings never lasts, so if you hang onto the feeling of happiness instead of the flow of indifference, your merry-go-round world will be replaced by the opposite. This is only so, because you mistook the empty breath for the giver of happiness instead of indifference, so if you stick to the latter, it makes no difference if you seem happy or sad.

The swing of the inner breath may be experienced abruptly – like in this animation but probably a lot slower – in a s body with muscles problems from for example psoas or diafragma. There is no reason though trying to make it swing more smoothly by improving the condition of the body. The inner breath always adjust itself to the current condition of the body, so no matter how it moves it results in the same joy, providing you are not looking to be perfect.

In a sick body the swing of the empty breath may be experienced to come in bursts – a bit like in this animation but probably slower. But no matter how constraint the swing of it is experienced, the connection with it will always entail indifference, so if you stick with that the way it is experienced makes no difference.

Reasons for not feeling the empty breath
Not being able to feel the swing of the empty breath may be due to trying to hard, focussing on it, or thinking that the experience of it will make you feel something special. In these cases you are trying to fabricate a specific feeling yourself, and as the empty breath is not static its forever changing connectedness cannot be sensed.

The same applies, if you try to override it* by taking a deep breath, shortening, pushing or holding back your breath every now and then, so there is time enough to make your own plans, and thus establish you as an autonomous creature with a will of its own.

Basically there is only one reason for not feeling the empty breath, namely that you want to feel it, which is only possible when you believe to be substantial, although you just like the empty breath is nothing but empty space. In other words, feeling the empty breath is like you are gone and where you used to be there is emptiness.

The connectedness with the empty breath – either through its transparent sound, the swing of it, surfing its waves, or the sparkling force behind these rhythmic movements – is not a feeling that can be fabricated like for example a romantic evening generated by candles, special clothes, music and red wine. On the contrary. It is felt, when instead of busy trying to produce a specific feeling, you channel the busyness into a take-off to the empty breath.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on you being someone definitive focusing on something specific. So when you are do not feel the empty breath multitasking connects you with it.

Using other duality hacks to get to the indifference of the empty breath
As any other the duality hacks (see the main ones
in Duality Hacks and the others in Extra Duality Hacks and More Duality Hacks) except the enlightenment of that which is one induce a state of not-knowing, you can use one or more of the those, if you have problems connecting with the empty breath.

No matter the duality hack the state of not-knowing is the same in the sense that there momentarily is no belief in being someone definitive, wherefore there are no suffering but bliss. If the bliss from the other duality hacks feels like the connectedness with the empty breath, as described in this article, is not to know, since it is a state of not-knowing.

But it is not unlikely, a state of not-knowing, regardless of which duality hack that has induced it, will take you to the operator of the empty breath and from there to the swing of the empty breath – or simple to the indifference of the empty breath.

Please do not take the comparison of the inner breath to an yin yang sign too literally. An yin yang sign is all too simplified to really illustrate the inner breath.Yet it might give you an idea about the inner breath, which can also be compared to a spiral like the galaxy in this image, that the stylish yin yang sign might a simplified version of.

Please do not take the comparison of the empty breath to an yin yang sign too literal. An yin yang sign is all too simplified to really illustrate the empty breath, which rather is to be compared to the galaxy in this image. Maybe the yin yang sign originally was a simplified illustration of such a galaxy.

The empty breath never feels the same
Even though the empty breath seems to produce a constant rhythm of expansion and contraction in the body, your experience of it may not be that it is consistent. And you are right. It is not consistent, and it has no such need. Only those believing to be somebody definitive have a need to be consistent, and as the empty breath does not believe to be anything at all, it does not need to uphold a consistent image of itself.

The empty breath can be compared to the cats in the home of Alexius. Though they go around as it pleases them, he can always count on them to greet him when he calls for them.

Feeling the empty breath is like receiving a new gift every moment. There is no way, however, to know what it is before receiving it.

The energy at the root of the inner breath may be experienced a bit like this, but in less defined forms and colors.

The energy at the root of the empty breath may be experienced a bit like this, but in less defined forms and without an awareness of colours.

Likewise he can always count on the empty breath, and even though it only moves on its own accord, it is always to be felt in one way or the other. Maybe he experiences it by several times in a row going up on just one of its waves, where after he may feel the swing of it inside of his head, and then continue to surf of its two yin yang looking like waves.

After igniting a take-off to the empty breath, he mostly land in its very fast and chaotic energy at the root of it, which feels like freedom compared to the rigid world of the outer senses. Going to bed it may be the transparency of its sound that comes to him. But first of all he simply feels the indifference of the empty breath, and since that means the apparent differences in the world does not seem to make a difference, it is hardly a feeling.

As the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing there is no awareness of separation. Hence the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

It is not possible to illustrate the empty breath in its totality. But this yin yang animation (please abstract from the holes as there are no holes in the waves of the empty breath) may give you an idea about the simultaneously movement of the two yin yang like waves inside it.

The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing
Alexius does not really know what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like, because it is a state of not-knowing. However, for the purpose of writing about it, he had many very short moments of not-knowing, so that he from the vague memories of the connectedness with the empty breath quickly could write what it feels like.

If the resulting descriptions seem patchy and you are a bit confused after having read them, you can use the confusion to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´Where to find ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is to be experienced within its border, but as that is not definitive it has no specific border. In other words, if you experience the empty breath to be outside of the border it is implied to have, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact it may suggest you have forgotten to be someone definitive, because only as such will you expect to experience it somewhere in specific.

Remember that just like the experience of an orgasm is a very personal thing, so is the experience of the connectedness with the empty breath, even though what you experience is not personal and that you actually have no consciousness about it, since the connection is establish half a second before a conscious experience is created of it (see the article Where to find ´the empty breath´).

In the resulting state of not-knowing, which lasts until you insist that the apparent differences registered by the brain make a difference and you therefore must be someone separated from what you see. Until then there is nobody to experience, how blissful it is not believing to be someone definitive.

In other words, the feelings of the empty breath are memories, that pop up when you again believe to be someone definitive. And as memories are based on a very personal selection, your memories may be coloured in another way than in the above descriptions based on the memories of Alexius.

If still confused you are welcome to mail Alexius. Maybe he is be able to help you forgetting what you believe to know and want, so that there is nothing between you and the empty breath.

NOTE ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS
Alexius searched the web for animations and still photos to illustrate the different movements of the empty breath, as he remembers them. Yet he does not know, if the illustrators had the empty breath in mind, when they made these images – but probably not. Most likely they are meant to illustrate something scientific.

The animations – except the three last ones – are grabbed from Electromagnetic Plasma Energy Light.

+++´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be

The circles in this image graphically illustrates a few of the non-definitive circles within the empty breath, which you can read a lot more about in the next article What does the empty breath feel like?. Though there are a tons of these non-definitive circles in the empty breath, you may only feel one of them at a time passing through the head or above it and the stomach or below it. None of the non definitive circles are outside of you like in this image, that rather reflects the ego´s idea of the empty breath, namely that you are somebody special in charge of life. Yet you are not in charge of anything, and there is no life in the world where you believe to be, nor is what you believe to be there, because there is nothing but the oneness of life, as it is formless and therefore endless. In other words, you appearing to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space is a fantasy. The belief that this fantasy is real is what the empty breath undoes. The graphic, which is grabbed from the web, has been manipulated by Alexius.

The empty breath is neither inside or outside of you, because the empty breath does not know you as someone definitive in substantial world. The empty breath is empty space and what you believe to be is a fantasy made out of that as well. In other words, it is only the belief that you are someone definitive, that seems to separate you from the empty breath.

This article is a preface to What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?.

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 percent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and just like a dream does not contain anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. See also the article Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

It is not possible to be anything specific, because reality is formless and therefore without beginning and end, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Spirituality is often considered to be about unconditional love, compassion and cosmic consciousness or wisdom, but as spirituality is formless, it cannot be defined as something specific. Neither can it be experienced as something, as it is that which is one and it takes more than one to experience something.

Nor can any of this be experienced outside the reality of spirituality, as it is formless and therefore without beginning and end, so there is nothing outside of it. Thus the experience of you as someone in a world defined by time and space or having been transformed into a spiritual world is make-believe.

In other words, the experience of a material world, where you and Alexius are tangible appearances separated by time and space is make-believe – and so is the experience of being connected with the empty breath (see also the articles Whatever that you are aware of is an illusion, because it requires more than one to be conscious of something and A perfect moment takes you back to the first moment of the world).

The connectedness with the empty breath, however, is so closely related to the basic contrast making up the perception of you as someone definitive, namely expansion and contraction, that a continuous close connection with it (see Without contrasts there is no duality, and so nothing seems to hide non-duality) cancels out its apparent effect as if you are someone who makes a difference.

As this means there is nothing to hide that what you experience to be something is nothing but empty, there is nothing to sustain the belief in a world defined by time and space.

This is not to say, that you and the world where you appear to be is dissolved, because there is not something to dissolve, since you appearing to be someone in a world defined by time and space is a fantasy made out of empty space. What has been dissolved though is the belief that this fantasy is real, so that there is no belief to hide there never was and never will be anything else that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

There is nobody in a dream and nobody is making it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

In general this belief is not undone for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), before it compulsively is picked up again. Should you wonder who it is, that is picking it up, the answer is nobody. Just like nobody in a dream picks up anything, because there is nothing to pick up, nor is there someone to do this.

If you really want to believe that you are someone definitive, you may ask, who is making a dream of a world defined by time and space. But though a dream appears to come from someone dreaming it, nobody is making it or in it, neither is the dream in the one who appears to be dreaming it, because there is nothing in it, unless the dreamer wants to believe so.

To make long short, what you believe to be to be in a world defined by time and space is an imagination made by nobody from out of nothing, so it is best not to limit your experience of the empty breath to time and space.

In other words, even though the swing of the empty breath in the paragraph of the same name in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like? is described to be felt inside the body, please do not use the description to limit your experience of it as if it is in a specific place only (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?).

Be aware that the descriptions of the empty breath are written by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, so just like the concepts of the world in a game like Monopoly, for example, are acknowledged but not believed to be real, the concept of dividing everything in contrasts that seem to that turn empty space into elements of matter are acknowledged but not believed to be real.

Hence the terms of inside and outside in regards to where the empty breath is felt should not be taken too literal.*

*) This is not to be understood as if the apparent physical borders of the body never is important. In fact they are very important, as long as you appear to be inside of it and from there must navigate in a world defined by time and space.

++ The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´

Easy life on automatic gear with the inner breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Haven chosen not to be in control, the empty breath automatically guides you. It can be compared to driving a car in automatic gear, which works regardless you are aware of it or not. In other words, when having connected with the empty breath, you do not have to always remember it. Yet you must remember not to use manual gears,* which can take some time getting used to, as you probably are used to consider yourself to be self-made. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Keeping a balance between inner and outer senses or anything else has nothing to do with spirituality, since it is that which is one and it takes more than one to be in balance. But in a world where there seems to more than one, it works very well having the empty breath balance the world of the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment** from the world of the inner senses become the foundation of how to perceive the world of the outer senses.

The empty breath is the meeting point between the outer and the inner senses.

This is not to say that spirituality is inside, but that with the outer senses partially closed it is easier to grasp that a world where there seems to be more than one is an imagination used to hide the spirituality of that which is one. With this insight as the basis for your appearance in the world of the outer senses, it can be quite fun pretending to be someone there – just like within the context of this world pretending to be someone in the illusionary world of a video game is fun, because you know it is not real.

As Alexius is so used to the abstractness of the empty breath, he forgets that those believing to be somebody substantial can only sense something they can imagine as substantial – like the elements of this photo. So if you want to sense the empty breath, you must momentarily forget your belief in being someone definitive, who experience something substantial. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Introducing the empty breath
The first full article about the empty breath in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, namely Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, is all about how to connect with it, so your own experience of the empty breath becomes your introduction to it. That article, however, came as quite a surprise to Alexius. Not because he is not familiar with the empty breath. On the contrary, it seems to be the reason he is having such an effortless life in the world of the outer senses. Yet, he is so used to it, that he did not envisaged it as something to write about.

And neither is there much to write about, because the empty breath cannot be sensed by reading but by not breathing yourself and instead having the empty breath expand and contract your body on its own accord. If the lack of control seems scary to you, you can use this uncertainty to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, where after there is nobody left to care about control. See the previous article of how to ignite take-offs to the empty breath.

The empty breath is amongst other things triggered by not being exclusive and therefore inclusive***, as the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses do not make a difference when being inclusive. That is, if not everything is included, because if it is the contrast of inside and outside is no more, which means there is no separation to hide, there never was and never will be no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

Hence that which is you has and is everything, wherefore there is no need for anything, neither the empty breath.

But most likely there are thoughts and feelings you forget or do not want to include – maybe because you judge them to be evil – and so you still appear to be something definitive, but not as certain about it as before. This crack in your personality is enough for the empty breath to be able to work on its own accord, and start undoing the belief in being someone definitive.

Happy or sad
At first it may feel as if the empty breath is too slow to supply you with all the air, that you feel is needed for breathing. But when you do not override the flow of it*, which does not has to be adjusted to the physical breathing, everything is just fine, and you are guided to the world of the inner senses.

If you in the past have blocked out feelings of for instance humiliation, rejection and inferiority by hiding them in the body, these feelings are intensely felt, when connecting with the empty breath, as the flow of it unblocks everything .

But if you do not out try to exclude the unpleasant feelings from the past, and instead include them by totally being them, you will not only feel sad but also happy – or rather none of them, as the inclusion of one side of a contrast cancels out both sides. In other words, you are in a state of not-knowing.

It could also be that it feels as if you do not have enough room for the empty breath or that it is more painful than joyful, especially if you in the past have excluded specific feelings by projecting them onto obscure parts of the body, for example the muscle named psoas, where fear, worries and frustrations often are stored away.

Hence psoas and its corresponding muscle the diafragma may have become too weak to freely move with the flow of the empty breath, so that it seems the empty breath makes you tense and not relaxed. But if you do not look forward to a specific experience, you will be indifferent to being tense or relaxed.

When someone gets hurt in a movie, that you are watching, you may also feel hurt. That is why the movie seems real. But because you know it is an illusion, you have fun feeling hurt. This is how it is to have the connectedness with the empty breath. Though the world seems to be real, you know it is not, and so its apparent ups and downs are equally enjoyable.

Though being connected with the inner breath, you may experience it to imprison you, but that is a projection based on your own imprisonment. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Being connected with the empty breath, you may experience that it imprisons you, but that is a projection based on your own feeling of imprisonment. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The indifference of the empty breath sets you free from the need to be free
Looking forward to the expansion and contraction of the empty breath moving totally freely without any bodily restriction is a waste of time. First of all, you will not be able to enjoy the flow of it, if you are looking forward to a specific way of feeling it. Secondly, the expansion and contraction of the empty breath may never be experienced to flow totally unhindered by the body.

The connection with the empty breath is generally not complete. No worries. It is not about perfection but purpose. If your purpose is to undo the belief en being someone definitive, the empty space of the empty breath take on the function of an automatic gear, that shifts between the inner and outer senses, so that this belief is being undone, while you enjoy the excitement of appearing to be someone definitive.

There is no perfection in a world where there seems to be more than one, because there is no such world, as that which is one is formless and therefore endless. Thus keeping up the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one requires much focus and control so that your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one constantly can be adjusted, so that it is in balance with what you believe to be.

Focus, control, balance and any kind of adjustment, however, is counterproductive in regards to the empty breath, that has no specific form or centre and totally moves on its own accord.

Nothing can restrict the empty breath, because it has no need to be something definitive. Yet believing to be someone definitive is a restriction, that will cause everything experienced to seem confined.

As the empty breath sees nothing but empty in the world where you believe to be, it has no need to be perceived as something specific. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

To undo your belief in being someone definitive it does not need to flow unhindered in and out of your apparent substantial body. It does not know of restraint since that is a concept related to freedom, and restraint as well as freedom only makes sense if you believe to be someone definitive.

In other words, as the empty breath is not something definitive, it has nothing to be free from and no need to be acknowledged in a specific way. It is what it is, in spite of you experiencing the expansion and contraction of it to flow smoothly or not – or remembering it at all.

It is you, who do not feel free, because you are dependent on constantly being acknowledged as someone definitive by somebody perceived to be outside of you in a physically, astral or online world, so that it feels as if you are alive. The feeling of imprisonment that this entails, you want to break out off, and as you assume the empty breath just like you is something definitive, you expect it has the same desire for freedom as you.

You do not even have to remember the empty breath to have an easy life. Yet you must remember not to forget, that your intention is to not be someone definitive, so that you do not override* the flow of the empty breath in order to appear as if you are special.

Fortunately there is not something to solve and no feeling of imprisonment to heal, because going with the flow of the empty breath – no matter in what way it is experienced to be – you go with its indifference, and so the apparent difference of feeling free or not makes no difference.

Connectedness with the empty breath comes from choosing not to choose, so that this auto pilot supplied by the oneness of life can take over.

hol_majorNot being in control, there is nothing to obstruct you from being guided by the empty breath
The rhythmic flow of the empty breath may be heard as a rhythmic sound experienced to come from the back head. Yet the experience of a head is very distinct. It is rather like there is nothing than the rhythmic sound – or as if it is not coming from you at all but from somewhere indefinable. This sound, that you do not do anything to produce and that can be compared to the sound of saying soham, seems to originate from the sixth chakra (third eye) – not from the chakra in the forehead though but in the back of the head – see in the illustration to the right.

This illustration is from the book Healing Hands by Barbara Ann Brennan, who´s knowledge about aura and chakras does not seem to be second-hand. Aura and chakras, however, are not part of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, as they often are used to escape feelings of alienation through spaced out illusions of spiritual grandeur instead of dealing with the cause of alienation, which is the belief in being someone definitive.

When the energy of this part of the sixth chakra, that is located in the back of the head a little lower than the illustration seems to imply, is going clockwise you will mostly experience the world of the outer senses to be troublesome, but counter-clockwise you are upgraded to a more laid-back version of it, where it seems easier not to be in control but go with the guidance of the empty breath. If the energy is stagnated the empty breath seems to be out of reach, and you may unconsciously be fixated in a mental pattern, that you carry out very strong-willed.

This image found on Facebook shows the common misunderstanding, namely that life is yours, where as reality it is the other way around and if you try to edit life, you will suffer.

This image, that is found on the web, shows a very common misunderstanding, namely that life is yours. In reality it is the other way around, so the more you try to edit life in order to appear unique, the more suffering your uniqueness seems to cause you.

It is you, it is you who have chosen the direction of the energy in the chakra and also to clog it, if that is the case. Hence it is only you who can change it.

If the energy in the back of the chakras is not clogged, you are like a river going back to its source. In other words, you do not have a will of your own, unless one or more of the chakras in the back of the body are clogged. So if you want to control how the world of the outer senses is experienced in order to edit it into your own personal story, you want to freeze the energy in the back of the chakras.

In other words, you devote your awareness to the personal will in the front of the chakras and clog the transpersonal will in the back of the chakras by not given them any attention at all.

That goes without saying that neither do you want the transpersonal flow of the empty breath to be the basis for your life in the world of the outer senses, until you acknowledge, that you do not know what is in your best interest.

Collecting thoughts of this and that to build an interesting personality in order to not feel as nobody but somebody is not a problem in itself. It is the belief, that the body represents this construction of thoughts, which makes the it one big blockage to the enlightenment of that which is one. This does not mean it needs to be refined by yoga and whatnot in order for it to not block out the enlightenment of that which is one. The state of it is just not important in regards to that. Yet, just like you take care of your car – even though it is not you – so it can carry you around in the world, you take care of your body for the very same reason. Collecting specific thoughts to fabricate an interesting personality in order not to be nobody but somebody is not a problem in itself. It is the belief, that the body represents this construction of thoughts, that fences off the enlightenment of that which is one. This is not to say that the body needs to be refined by yoga or something else to not block out the enlightenment of that which is one. The state of the body is not important in regards to the enlightenment of that which is one, because all what is needed to bid it welcome is to undo your belief in being inside it. This is not to say, that you should not take care of the body. Just like you take care of your car – even though it is not you – you also take care of your body, even though it is nothing but a fantasy made out of empty space. ON A PERSONAL NOTE:
I have had and partly still have blockages in the body, that seem to prevent the flow of the empty breath. Yet that is not so, and if it seems so, that is because we try to block out specific feelings in order to uphold the belief that we are someone special.

But since that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, it is not possible to become someone special in a specific body. Yet it is possible to imagine this – just like within the context of such an imagination it is possible to fool yourself to such an extent that the experience of you as a hero in a virtual world of a video game blocks out the world outside of it. In other words, it is the imagination of you as someone definitive, that blocks out the formlessness of that which is you.

Fortunately I have never been very good in upholding the appearance of being someone unique, and as it only takes one moment, where we forget what and where we are, to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, long time ago I became someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one – and no philosophy or religion – is the sole basis for Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings. The voice behind them comes from a non-physical entity I call Gudruång and whom I in the context of a world where there seems to be more than one seem to be a physical extension of.

Kind regards
Alexius

(+) Nothing is definitive

As Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings point towards the formlessness of that which is one or rather that the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one seems to hide there is no more than that which is one, and as Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are part of that illusionary belief nothing in them should be taken to be true except that there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

There is only one thing that should be taken literal in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, namely that there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless. It is therefore not explainable why you experience to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, so any explanation in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings or anywhere else about this is just as illusionary as anything else you appear to be conscious about.

Thus the explanation in the previous article How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ should not be taken as a definitive explanation of how to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, but a metaphor which can be used to grasp, that the experience of a substantial world in the empty space outside of that which is one is a mirage, because there is nothing outside of that which is one, since is formless and therefore endless. Neither is there anything inside of it, as without an outside there is no inside.

All this shit about awakening is just a more sophisticated way of confirming the belief that you are someone definitive, because if that is not the case, there is not someone to awaken.

That is why there is nobody in a world where there seems to be more than one and that Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings therefore are not about coming back to that which is one, but about exposing that it is the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one, that seems to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.
