Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ (in the process of being updated)

When you do not believe to be made of substantial elements – whether appearing to be subtle or solid – empty space takes over.* This can of course not be illustrated, so this yin-yang illustration is just simulating the swing of the empty breath coming out of it. Since the bliss of nothingness, that sets in when connecting with the empty breath, is a state of not-knowing, it is not possible to connect with it when in the consciousness of being someone definitive. Thus the connection must be established before the brain based on signals, it claims to receive from the sensory system, renders a world defined by time and space, as if it is you who have a conscious experience of it, therefore, are someone in it.

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite it also is empty space and just like a dream has nothing substantial in it – is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Thus appearing to be someone definitive is make-believe, no matter what and where you appear to be.

On account of this taking one second for the brain to accomplish, there are countless of seconds where a connection with the empty breath can be established (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), because in those seconds unprocessed by the brain, there is nothing to define you and therefore no consciousness of being someone definitive, so there is no difference between the nothingness of you and that of the empty breath.

Believing to coming from the heart is a way to bypass the brain, so that you appear to be more special and/or spiritual than the basic self it preserves. But it is just like painting your hair. It still comes from the head.

This has nothing to do with coming from the heart, which is just something you imagine to make you feel more special and to feel closer to your pure your essence instead of being somebody insignificant. But you have no pure essence. You are nothing. Thus being insignificant is closer to that which is you, because when you are nothing, something does not appear to hide, there are no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless

How to connect with the bliss of the empty breath

You connect with the empty breath by not connecting with the consciousness of you as someone definitive experiencing the tangible world, that the brain spends a second to fabricate from what the senses seem to have picked up in empty space. You can compare this to not turning on a video game, because you rather want to experience the physical world – except that connecting with the empty breath is not a conscious experience but a state of not-knowing, and you have less than a second to connect with that instead of the image the brain fabricate as if you are someone definitive. This is plenty of time though, provided you are willing to not be conscious of something but be a servant of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath sees no separation, it has no need to connect with you, no matter what and where you believe to be. You, on the other hand, need to connect with it, if you want to be indifferent to the belief in the brains conversion of empty space into a world where you seem to be someone separated from everything else by time and space. Forget about being conscious of the empty breath, as what you are conscious about is never the present but the past.

Having connected with the empty breath in the second that has not yet been processed by the brain and hereafter not picking up on the brains deceptive fabrication of you as someone living in a capsule of time and space, the second unprocessed by the brain is extended into a state of not-knowing.

This state though cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to remain as if you are someone definitive, because if the brain is not constantly occupied with thoughts, that seems to confirm the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, it falls into a coma.

So being in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, is the end of being there or anywhere else, because the signals that appear to come from empty space are no longer registered by the brain, wherefore there is neither nothing or something that seems to cover up, there never was or will be anything else than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore has no beginning or end.

Is it the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive, or is the undoing of this belief that causes the bliss of the empty breath? Since that question arises from the belief in being someone definitive, which is an illusion fabricated by the brain, there is no answer to it, neither to who has fabricated this illusion or who choose to have the belief in it undone. How not to be deceived by the brains fabrication of you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space but instead drift in the bliss of not-knowing is a question that cannot be answered, since it is founded on the belief that you are someone definitive, and the bliss of not-knowing comes from the indifference to that belief.

Neither can it be known, if it is the empty breath or not believing to be someone definitive that comes first in regards to be in the transparency of not-knowing. The only reason somebody wants to know this – or anything else in regards to a state of not-knowing – is that they believe to be defined by what they know, and they rather remain as somebody definitive than nobody in the bliss of not-knowing.

Thus the above about where to find the transparent bliss, that the empty breath entails, is not an attempt to answer the question but to rule it out. The same applies to the below, which is a further exploration of the above.

what you see is a translation produced by the brain


It takes time for the brain to correct the signals, it receives from the eyes about a flower, for example, so that it does not appear to be upside down but a coherent right-side-up image in the way you expect to see a flower. In other words, what you experience to see now is an edit version of the past. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

It takes time for the brain to adopt the signals it seems to receive from your eyes, so they appear to be something substantial in the tangible world, we collectively have agreed to see outside of us. All the signals, for example, must to be flipped in order to produce an image of a world that does not appear to be upside down. Read more about that here.

This is not a skill, we are born with. The brain in a baby does not know how to do that. But in order to integrate the baby in the belief system of the world, the brain must quickly learn how to turn the incoming signals into a coherent right-side-up image, so it seems the baby is having the same experience of the world as everybody else.

now is an illusion fabricated by the brain

You do not know what you are reading in this very moment, because what you believe to read now is the brains delayed adaption of the signals, it received from your eyes one second ago. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Where to enter the transparent bliss of the empty breath?
Even though it only takes the brain a few milliseconds to register the signals, it receives from the eyes in this very moment, what you are conscious about right now is something else, because the brain needs a second more to process a conscious experience of those signals, so that you believe they are what you experience to see now.

The brain extrapolate the second it uses to process the signals, it claims to receive from the senses, into an experience that seems to confirm, you are someone definitive experiencing them now not one second ago.

In other words, since your conscious experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the signals the eyes received one second ago, what you believe to read now was read in the past.

When not organising thoughts and feelings into specific categories, they do not seem to represent something in a substantial world. Hence there is nothing to block out the empty breath, that does not know of such a world or that you believe to be someone there. All it knows is the nothingness from which this fantasy has been made, because it is that nothingness.

now is a delayed interpretation of the past

The data, that your experience of this image is based on, the brain received from your eyes at least one second ago. In other words, your experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the past fabricated by the brain in order to fool you into believing, that you are someone definitive having your own life. Yet you have nothing of on your own because what you believe to be is a product of the brain made from out of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As this means you are never conscious of the present but the past, and as the empty breath is only in the present, the way to connect with it is to not be conscious but return to the second of no consciousness (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), where the signals from the sensory organs have not been processed by the brain into a conscious experience of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is nobody in this second unprocessed by the brain, there is not somebody to believe, that the apparently different signals received via the sensory system are making a difference. Thus the brains interpretation of them, as if they are a reflection of different substantial elements making up a world where there seems to be more than one is exposed to be a fiction, that hides they are a reflection of nothing and not of something, wherefore there is no differences that appear to separate you from the empty breath.

The experience of a dimensional world is a fabrication of the brain, which it produces by overlaying the flat signals hitting the two eyes into one seamless image of a 3D world. See hack #2.3 Life is flat or hack #2.5 Size does not matter.

what you believe to be is the brain

The brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct a self, that through selected parts of the signals hitting the sensory organs in combinations with singled out memories, feelings and imaginations make up an exciting story about itself, that is stored all over inside the brain as if it is you. How long time does connectedness with the empty breath lasts?
It is just five per cent of the brain, that is used to shape the conscious experience of ourselves as somebody defined by time and space. Much more space though is needed to establish this experience as real. Thus a big part of the brain is constantly occupied with thoughts about ourselves as if they are caused by a tangible world experienced to revolve around us and therefore seem to confirm, that we are somebody definitive. If not kept busy by making it appear, as if there is something where there is nothing, the brain falls into coma, so you can only remain as if you are someone in the tangible world fabricated by it, if you do not float too long in the transparent bliss of a state of not-knowing, that the empty breath entails.

It seems, that when the brain is not kept busy with thoughts, we appear to think ourselves about ourselves (see No talking is needed to come back to that which is one and The ins and outs of the inner senses) for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls apart – and since all our selected memories are stored there and the sum of them is what we believe to be, this belief falls apart as well.

When you look for something better, a state of not-knowing is fenced off, until you are so fed up with looking for the best, that the almost involuntary reflex to divide the world into better and worse is dismissed in favour for the indifference of the empty breath. Thus connecting with the empty breath is not a matter of doing it right but having had enough.

Thus a state of not-knowing cannot last too long at a time. That is not a problem though, because mostly it lasts no longer than the moment it takes for the uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions to ignite it (see Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ).

In the bliss of the empty breath you are indifferent to being and having more

The urge to be and have more is the cause of all suffering because more wants more, so there will never be enough. That is not a problem though, when connected with the empty breath, because it is indifferent to differences, so you always have enough. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Even in a state of not-knowing the urge to be someone special may be so deep-rooted, that it paves the way for the brain – perhaps just for a split second – to break through with its version of you as someone, who can be and have something special, if agreeing to identify selected sensory signals to be better than others, for example those that seem to manifest you in a special relation with a spouse, children of yours, pets or bodily wellness.

As nothing appears to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, there is no special place to go or someone special to love, so if having a need for something special, it feels as being inside an unbreakable armour of pain instead of floating in the bliss of nothingness.

If not trying to escape this feeling of claustrophobia but including it as it is, it is not definable as something and thus nothing but that from where bliss of nothingness is coming.

Compared to this vision of you as someone special in control of what to be and have, the simple bliss of nothingness seems boring, because there is nobody to be excited about being and having something special.

Love, empathy and whatnot are feelings fabricated by the brain, so that the experience of you as someone definitive, seems to be a happy one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you succeed in having sex with somebody, the brain rewards you by releasing dopamine, which is the same it releases if you take drugs. And if the relation goes on it is not about love but to follow the demands of the brain, so it will release a new shot of dopamine.

Like everything else this has an end. But if you start showing more empathy in your relation, the brain is gonna reward you with shots of oxytocin – also called ´the hugging hormone´ – that instantly creates a feeling of happiness. And if you go along with the instructions of the brain, you will soon have a baby to cuddle.

Thus a state of not-knowing is left behind by imagining to be so special, that someone else, who also is special, is impressed and wants to be in a special relationship with you, so what you seem to have together can replace the feeling of loneliness, that arises from judging someone or something to be special.

That is, until you are so weary from living up to the expectations of being someone special, that you prefer to use your frustration as a take-off to the empty breath (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), and float in the bliss of nothingness, that arises from being indifferent to the desire of being and having something special.

The bliss of the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, that is all-inclusive

If you try to exclude the desire for something special in order to remain in a state of not-knowing, you are already out of it, because being in a state of not-knowing is all-inclusive, contrary to being someone definitive, that is exclusive. So if not excluding but including your desire, you are still nobody in the bliss of not-knowing, and thus in its guidance of everything included.

In this case you used hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss. But you could also have continued by using a hack to connect with the empty breath by using the restless energy of your desire to ignite a take-off to the empty breath (see How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), as all the duality hacks are interchangeable.

Even though Alexius mostly was in a state of not-knowing, when he for two days was stuck in the rainforest without food and water, it was the inclusion of his fear, that made it possible for the empty breath to use it in guiding him to a helicopter, that wired him up from there. See the article Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

The bliss of the empty breath has no centre

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions within its non-definable frame as a circle with no fixed centre. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

So when not insisting that your spouse and whatnot is special, which is done by not excluding but including your desire to be and have something special (see hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not make appear to make difference, and you continue in the flow of the empty breath, that helps you dealing with everything included.

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions – up and down, back and forth, from right to left, or anywhere in between – within its non-definable borders of a circle with no fixed centre or size (see the illustrations in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

It makes no difference to the empty breath though what direction you follow or how much you are connected with it. Your willingness to connect is all that it wants (see the paragraph The only requirement is a willingness in INTRO TO HACK #5-7, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone). And if it is there, it automatically syncs the inner and outer senses, so the sense of stability in the inner ones helps you to get through the sense of instability in the outer ones (see What and where are the inner and outer senses).

You cannot know what is in your own best interest, because you believe to be someone in need of something special. The empty breath, however, knows what you believe to be is not something but nothing. Thus what you need is not the excitement of something but the bliss of nothing.

This does not mean, it will seem easier to get a new spouse, more money and whatnot in the world of the outer senses, but that it is easier seeing, it makes no difference what you appear to be and have, because that which is you is not a limited creature in a capsule of time and space but the formlessness of oneness.

In the bliss of the empty breath you do not know what and where you are

In a state of not-knowing, you do not know what and where you are. No worries. It is not needed. On the contrary. It is the assumption, that you know what and where you are, that covers the bliss of not-knowing it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

More ways to a state of not-knowing
Inclusiveness also results in a state of not-knowing (see hack #3.3 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), and so does pretending to be someone instead of believing to be that (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive), or having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can), or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), or acknowledging that the experience of such a world is something you are having alone together (see hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

All other duality hacks (see More Duality Hacks and Extra Duality Hacks) except the enlightenment of that which is one also result in a state of not-knowing. If they differ from each other is not to say, as the brain does not fabricate a conscious experience of them.

How many triangles are there in this image?
As the brain automatically fill in the missing pieces in this image to make you believe, that you see two triangles, you will probably disagree with the grey triangle being an illusion and the one partly framed by a black stroke being disconnected.

But if you cover the three incomplete black circles, the grey triangle disappears and the other one is fragmentary.

Since it is the brain that decides what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste, we are not free, but something fabricated and controlled by it to believe, we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and not the formlessness of that which is one.

Hence there is nothing to heal but the sick belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which is done by connecting with the empty breath in the second before the brain fabricate a conscious experience of us, as if we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This does not mean, that the empty breath is the formlessness of that which is one, as it takes more than one to be anything, but that it metaphorically speaking is the door to that which is one, where there is no being, awareness or anything else that requires more than one.

The brain deceives you to fence off the bliss of the empty breath

When the brain every now and then screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the movement of your eyes, it fills the gaps based on past memories. But as they most often have been heavily edited, the story fabricated by the brain to fill in the gaps may clash with the story of the present, so that the discrepancy makes you feel, that something is wrong in you or the world. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You are literally blind at least two hours a day
You are probably not aware, that every now and then throughout the day you are literally blind, because the brain screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the eyes are moving around. The reason you do not notice being blind two hours a day is that the brain hides it by filling the gaps with visual impressions of what it predicts to happen.

Not you but the brain is in charge
In the first episodes of a new TV show there are hints pointing to the forthcoming ones, and as the brain thrives from envisaging what is going to happen next, it is trapped into anticipating the future of the characters and thus enchanted by its own predictions into a state of amusement.

The writers of Game of Thrones try to hook you up and fence of the bliss of the empty breath

The writers of ´Game of Thrones´ want us to bond emotionally with the characters, so that we feel attracted to them, as if they are real and not just a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But the future of the characters does not turn out as predicted by the brain, because the writers of the show do not comply with their own hints, when writing the next episodes. Thus the fate of the characters becomes a mystery, that the brain hopes to unravel in the following episodes, wherefore it compels you to stick with the show until the very end. In other words, it is not you but the brain that is in charge.

But as the predictions fabricated by the brain to fill the gaps of blindness basically are a remix of memories, that have been adjusted every time recalled in order to boost the story of you as the good one fighting the bad ones, it may not match the story others have of the same moments.

In case the brain does not receive enough data from the eyes to produce the image you expect to see, it draws on your past experiences to fabricate what it predicts that you want to see.

Consequently, you conclude, something is wrong in your story or in that of others, wherefore you start trying to correct what is judged to be wrong.

Most likely you do not read this article, but what your brain predicts you want to read.

There is nobody in the bliss of the empty breath

There is nobody to find in the story of your life as someone definitive because it is pure fiction. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The more you seem to be successful in this, the more you believe, that the story can be shaped in such a way, that it comes out with a better version of you. Yet no matter how it is changed, the story remains a fantasy, and so is the idea that it has an author.

Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, a dream does not have an author or anything in it, neither the dreamer, nor it is in the dreamer or anywhere else. It is a deception made to look as if nothing is something.

The world is not something we see but a construction of thoughts arranged by the brain in accordance with its translation of the signals it seems to receive from the eyes. The same applies to what we believe to hear, feel, smell and taste. More about this in the article All experiences are equally unreal.

Fortunately the brain is not capable of translating the empty breath, so when connected with that and thus in its indifference, we are not deceived by the construction of thoughts produced by the brain to make us believe we are somebody limited by time and space.

In the bliss of the empty breath the belief in duality is undone

In a state of not-knowing it is not possible for the brain to establish the usual consciousness of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. This does not mean, however, that the consciousness of you as someone definitive is replaced by something better or higher but by no consciousness at all. Thus there is nobody to be conscious about the bliss that comes from not believing to be someone. That is why it is like air walking in air. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no awareness of differences in a state of not-knowing
In a state of not-knowing you are blind in the sense, that there is no conscious experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thankfully this is resolved by the empty breath and not the brain, which records the signals it assumes to receive from senses like it always does, but as the connectedness with the empty breath fences off the fabrication of a conscious experience of them, there is no awareness of how the brain categorise the different signals in contrasts of for example good or bad, right or wrong, love or hate, within and without and so on.

Though a world where there seems to be more than one is seen in the usual way when in a state of not-knowing, its apparent differences are not believed to make a difference. Thus there is no experience of being someone definitive and therefore nobody to be happy, sad or anything else.

This does not mean that there are no feelings. but that nobody relate them to them as if they make a difference.

Consequently, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, cannot be judged to make a difference, wherefore there is nothing special to love or hate and thus nothing specific to worry about.

The bliss of the empty breath is the bliss of nothing

When the body, that you appear to be living in, again and again drops something, you could be defined to be clumsy. If you believe this and feel guilty about it, you may want to change it.

But as every effort to improve yourself is based on the belief, that there is something wrong with you, your efforts are not changing this belief but enhancing it. This, however, you secretly accept, because even though you do not like to be defined as clumsy, it is preferable to not being defined, as that means you are nobody.

Yet being nobody, there is not somebody to be clumsy or something else. There is just emptiness, and that is pure bliss.

The bliss of the empty breath is not the end station

A state of not-knowing is not the end station, but a way to see that there is no end and that everything appearing to have an end is an illusion, as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no more than that which is one
Be aware, that the connectedness with the empty breath is not similar to being connected with that which is one, since the latter is not possible, as it takes more than one to be connected with something.

The connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath is simply a way to overlook the apparent differences fabricated by the brain so that they are not judged to make a difference, and a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, does not appear to establish the belief in separation.

Going with the flow of the empty breath is just as easy as going with the flow of sex. The latter though does not result in the undoing of the belief, that you are someone definitive, unless the orgasm is used to ignite a take-off to the empty breaththe empty breath<//i>. In the sense that no thinking is needed, following the flow of the empty breath is no different from following the flow of the genitals. The result of the latter though is the enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it.

This is not to say though, that sex should be avoided (see Holding back to not ejaculate is just another physical manifestation – but without the physical thrill of it), because the exclusion of sex or anything else adds to the definition of you as someone definitive. In orgasm, however, can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you do not hold back, but are nothing else than the orgasm.

But despite the connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath, therefore, undoes the belief in separation, it is also enhancing it, because it requires more than one to connect with something.

The problems, you seem to have, do not come from the world where you believe to be, but from the belief that you are someone there. Hence the solution to all problems is the same, namely the undoing of that belief.

The same applies to let go of the connectedness with the empty breath or whatnot, so to not enhance the belief in separation but having it undone, you do not choose to connect with the empty breath or something at all, which means you are connected with nothing and thus in the flow of the empty breath.

What and where are the inner and outer senses (in the process of being updated)

The empty breath synchronises the outer and inner senses in such a way, that we become indifferent to being somebody in the tangible world of the outer senses and thus responsive to being nobody in the abstract world of the inner senses. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This and the previous article is an attempt to supply you with info about the empty breath and its bliss of indifference, which may be a good foundation for connecting with it. But if you want to do that right away, you can skip this article and go straight to Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

The abstract world that seems to be experienced inside of us is in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings referred to as the world of the inner senses, and the tangible world that seems to be experienced outside of us as the world of the outer senses. Yet both experiences are founded on the same frequencies of nothingness hitting the same senses.

In other words, as the world of the inner senses is seen, heard, felt and tasted via the same organs that seem to pick up the world of the outer senses, the inner and outer senses are not different organs but different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of nothingness, that seem to hit the senses.

That being said, the organ used for the visual experience of the outer and inner world is not exactly the same, because the inner sense of sight does not come from two eyes but from having them merged them into one.* This single eye is by some called the third eye.

Within and without makes no difference when the inner an outer senses are in sync

The world of the inner senses is experienced to be abstract, because the frequencies of nothingness hitting the senses have not yet been processed by the brain to appear as if they are physical elements in the world of the outer senses, which is the version of the same frequencies the brain processes in such a way, that we appear to be somebody definitive having a conscious experience of being in a substantial world.

But as it takes more than one to experience something and as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, any experience is an illusion, regardless it seems to come from the outer or inner senses.

Consequently, the above distinction between inner and outer senses, as well as their existence and that the brain receives something real from them, is part of the brains plot to deceive you into believing, that you are experiencing something where there is nothing.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are


The world of the inner senses is experienced when time and space is not completely believed to be real. Ultimately speaking though the experience of an inner world is no more real than the experience of an outer world, as any kind of experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The inner world is experienced, when the awareness of you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space seems confined. But if completely leaving the imprisonment of being someone definitive, there is not someone to experience anything.

Thus there does not appear to be something in the nothingness outside of oneness, that seems to hide there never was and never will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

It is therefore only in the context of this belief, that there is someone experiencing an abstract world appearing to come from unprocessed frequencies of nothingness or a substantial world processed by the brain from the same frequencies.**

So even though what you seem to see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inner senses is very abstract and you appear to be nobody there, it is still something that is experienced, so there must be somebody doing this.

In other words, when you appear to be nobody, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody, because somebody is needed to register the experience of you being nobody. Thus what you seem to see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inner senses is not nothingness but an interpretation of it.

Yet this interpretation of nothingness as abstractness is a more direct experience than what you seem to experience in the world of the outer senses because the brain uses one second to fabricate a conscious experience of a tangible world. Hence what you experience to happen now actually happened one second ago – or more to the point, never happened, since the frequencies, that seem to hit the senses and from which the experience is fabricated, are an imagination of something from out nothing.

Thus experiencing the frequencies hitting the senses to be an abstract world is closer to reality than experiencing them to be a substantial world. Not in the sense though that you are closer to being here and now, because reality is that which is one and it takes more than one to be anywhere, but in the sense that they expose the world of the outer senses is nothing but empty space and thus also the world of the inner senses, as without the world of the outer senses it cannot be experienced.

So you come to a point in the world of the inner senses, where there is no point or anything else to experience, neither that the enlightenment of that which is one is coming out of this point, that is not there but looks like a black hole.** And so there is not something to hide that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of oneness.

Should you wonder, who choose to believe the fabrication of the brain is real and who wonders about this, read the paragraph ´What you believe to be does not exist´ in INTRO TO HACK #4.4, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

The inner and outer senses are nowhere

As it takes more than one to experience you are nobody or in a state of not-knowing, this is not the goal. But since it also requires more than one to have a goal, there is no goal than indifference to anything requiring more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one takes no more than a split second of totally forgetting to remember what and where you believe to be. But since it erases all memories of ever having appeared to be someone at all, there is absolutely nobody to experience it.** 

Thus the enlightenment of that which is one neither occur in the inner or outer world or anywhere else. It is the end of everything you believe there is, and then again it is not the end of anything, because it takes more than one to believe something, and there is no more than that which is one.

The connection with the empty breath, however, does not terminate what and where you believe to be. It just makes you indifferent to this belief.

In a state of not-knowing, that the empty breath induces, you are more nobody than somebody. And as the memories of you as someone definitive mostly are gone, you are in the bliss of indifference to what and where you appear to be.

Also to the experience of being nobody, which as already mentioned you never completely are. This also applies to being somebody, because the empty breath synchronises the outer and inner senses in accordance with what and where you appear to be.

The inner and outer senses are a fantasy

The empty breath is not specifically about being in the world of the inner senses or being anywhere else than in its flow of indifference. And wherever that appears to take you does not matter, because you are in the flow of indifference.

In deep sleep, for example, you are almost a hundred per cent nobody and just a few percents somebody, so that the glimpses of enlightenment* nobody is having in deep sleep can be registered by somebody. But driving a car the empty breath makes certain, that you are almost a hundred per cent present a chauffeur with a few percents of you as nobody making sure the driver does not get stressed.

Experiences of enlightenment is not the enlightenment of that which is one. It cannot be experienced, but glimpses of it can.**

Being connected with the empty breath does is basically the same as having glimpses of enlightenment or being in a perfect moment**** because they are all states of not-knowing.*** It is not a state though that reveals reality. Just like the inner senses, it reveals, that a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made from empty space.

What and where the inner and outer senses are cannot be answered, as they are an imagination made from nothing.

Having that revealed you are set free from the belief in being there, and though it may sound strange for those who believe to be there, being nowhere is pure bliss.

If you want to dive into the bliss of the empty breath, it may be beneficial to read this intro about it. But if you prefer to jump right into it go to Take-offs to ´the empty breath´,.

When Alexius many years ago was hired to teach graphic design in an advertising school in Denmark, he had a problem. Even though he had been designing magazines, websites, flyers and ads for companies big and small, he did not know how to do it, because everything was done as a servant, who intuitively does what is best for communicating the contents of the projects, he is hired to design a frame for.

He had no professional training in design, neither any other kind of education, so to provide students with guidelines of how to design, he wrote a book with basic rules of doing it, which he deducted from his intuitive way of designing.

There may not be anything else published about how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of indifference to the belief in being someone definitive.

If not in the bliss of not believing to be someone, you are speculative

The empty breath cannot help us in regards to knowing how come we appear to be substantial beings separated from each other by time and space, because this is not possible, since oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no time and space. How to explain the empty breath?
In regards to passing on guidelines of how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of indifference to the belief in being someone definitive, he is in the same situation, as when he was involved in teaching how to design. He has no knowledge from others, he can refer to explain how to connect with the empty breath.

Neither does he know how to explain, that the image of us as somebody separated from each other is an artificial construct, designed by the brain to control and manipulate us into believing, that we are unique creatures separated from each other in a capsule of time and space, although there is nothing else than oneness, since it is formless and therefore endless.

But he knows how to serve and follow guidance, and starting to write about the empty breath and its undoing of the belief, that it is possible to divide the formlessness of oneness into separated substantial beings, he was guided to watch a movie (You Disappear), which quoted the latest scientific explorations of the brain.

Consciousness is a construction of thoughts comparable to the ones and zero in a stream of binary code.

The fabrication of something from out of nothing
The short version of these discoveries is that the brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct an image of you as someone definitive, who is aware of itself through the experience of being separated from a world outside of it, that is assumed to cause its thoughts and feelings.

Another small part of the brain continuously fabricate experiences of an external world, that you seem to have and therefore to confirm, you as someone definitive in it.

These experiences the brain claims to process from frequencies it receives via the senses, but this explanation, just like the experiences it fabricates, is a smokescreen to cover up, that it does not know real from unreal. It uses the same organ to deal with both imaginary and reality, so it has no way to differentiate between imagination and reality. In other words, its version of reality is also imagined.

The experiences interpreted as the most meaningful ones, namely those that seem to define you as important, are stored in the rest of the brain, and as the sum of these memories constitute what you believe to be, you are not just a fabrication of the brain, you are the brain. Every bit of it – not only ten per cent – works to make it appear as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space outside the formlessness of oneness.

Being in the bliss of not believing to be someone is to be empty

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and just like a dream does not contain anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. But since formlessness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. Thus any experience – whether it seems to be of a physical or spiritual nature, being direct or coming from the heart – is constructed by the brain from out of empty space. And as it takes a second for the brain to generate an experience of something from out of nothing, what you believe to be experiencing now happened one second ago.

In fact, it never happened, because one second ago there was nothing, and it only seems as if you experience something now because you need to believe this to feel that you exist.

The bliss of nothingness
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is make-believe made from nothing, they are more interested in exploring something than nothing. Yet, it is in the latter, that the empty breath resides.

Since the experience, that the brain fabricate of a world defined by time and space to support the appearance of you as someone definitive, only makes sense, when you want to know or be aware of yourself as someone definitive, you connect with the empty breath by not being conscious and therefore remain in the continuous seconds of unprocessed empty space, where you are in a state of not-knowing*.

However, for somebody to be in this state, there still needs to be a little awareness of you as someone definitive, so the world made up by the brain continues to be experienced. But as there is not enough consciousness to establish you to be different from the experienced, the apparent difference between you and the world does not make a difference.

Hence there is no separation to hide, that although it is fun playing along with the fantasy of separation when you know it an illusion, it is nothing compared to the bliss of emptiness.

Yet it is not due to the revelations coming from the discoveries of how the brain is working that Alexius knows this, but because when he returns from a state of not-knowing* to the conscious experience of being someone in a world defined by time and space as it is fabricated by the brain from out of empty space, there are memories of the bliss it is to not to believe that this is real.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

Not knowing something, nothing hides the bliss of nothing
He has no intelligent system for how he connects with the empty breath in the second of nothingness before the brain fabricates a conscious experience of him as someone definitive experiencing the empty space from one second ago as if it is a substantial world where something specific is happening now. And since the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing*, he does not even know when he is connected.

Only those believing to be somebody definitive need to be in balance, peace and whatnot, because if not manifested as someone special, they are exposed as nothing.

But not always trying to know** and rather to serve life than to master it may be the reason, there are many moments with no need to support the image of him as someone definitive, so he automatically connects with the empty breath. But since he is not trying to know, he cannot say if this is so. Yet, as he is trying to serve, the article goes on.

If the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop with thoughts of separation for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, it falls into coma. See also the hack 20 minutes, 45 at most in Extra Duality Hacks.

Yet he can say, that this connectedness cannot last too long at a time, if he wants to go on with the experience of being someone definitive, because that experience needs to be regularly updated by the brain via thoughts and feelings appearing to be caused by a world outside of him, so that they seem to confirm him to be a separate being in that world.

The inner and outer senses
When we are not connected with the empty breath and therefore not in the blissful state of not-knowing* but in the stressful awareness of being somebody definitive separated from others in the world we seem to experience through the outer senses, the empty breath is still connected with us, provided that we just once connected with it ourselves, because it does not know of separation.

The world of the outer senses is a version of the unprocessed world of the inner senses, that the brain has processed from it. Actually a bit more nuanced, but that you can read about in the next article What and where are the inner and outer senses.

The experience of being in the tangible world of the outer senses or the abstract world of the inner senses is in the context of where the data seem to come from received from the same senses, as the world of the outer senses is an interpretation of the world of the inner senses fabricated by the brain.

Looking at the bliss of not believing to be someone

As all experiences are illusionary it includes the experience of the empty breath as well. But as this is what this illusion, it unveils the bliss of nothing, until not even bliss seems to hide, there is no more than that which is one, and therefore no bliss or anything else to experience, since it takes more than one to experience something. Since the empty breath does not know of separation, it has no knowledge about the tangible world of the outer senses. Yet it senses you are stressed from believing to be someone definitive, so it synchs the feeling of stress with the abstract world of the inner senses, where there is nothing specific and therefore no stress.

This metaphor only makes only sense as long as you believe, that the experience of you as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses is real, because that experience as well as any other – including the connectedness with the empty breath or anything else considered to be spiritual – is a deception made from out of empty space.

Fortunately the experience of the empty breath exposes this, so that the bliss of not believing to be someone is the last thing, you experience, before this belief does not seem to cover, that there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

But as the world of the outer senses is based on the experience that everything is separated by time and space, the empty breath has no knowledge of it. Yet it grasps, we are stressed from figuring out what to achieve, how to do it, and most of all how to live up to our own expectation of what getting what we want should make us feel.

Whether you are connected with the empty breath or not, it is always connected with you, so that it can function as an automatic gear change between the outer and inner senses, and make the abstractness in the world of the inner senses the base from where the world of the outer senses is perceived, wherefore the achievement of specific the physical elements does not seem important.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Going with the flow of the empty breath you become indifferent to what you get, so if you want something specific, you got to accept the stress, that comes from not going with the flow it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The synchronisation of the inner and outer senses
To take the edge out of the stress we feel in the world of the outer senses, the empty breath synchs it with the world of the inner ones. Not because this world is more peaceful, but because it is a high-frequency world, so the speedy and restless energy that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outer senses does not seem stressful at all.

It is not thoughts as such, that prevents us from going with the flow, but the desire to use them for accomplishing something specific.

That being said, you might not want to go with the flow of this synchronisation, because although it results in indifference to stress, it may not produce what you stressed to get. That is why most want to avoid the flow of the empty breath and go with the stress it takes to obtain what they want.

Like a pencil cannot make its scribblings go away but an eraser can, you cannot make your scribblings as someone definitive go away but the empty breath can.

Even though getting what they want does not result in lasting satisfaction, they prefer to carry on searching for something new and better to make them happy and lessen the stress that this entails through meditation, yoga or other techniques making them appear to not be egoistic, though it is all about becoming and having more at the expense of others (see That which is you has no end).

The bliss of not believing to be someone may appear as blurry


The more the connectedness with the empty breath cancels out the contrasts of tangible feelings – for example happiness and sadness – in the world of the outer senses by synchronizing them with the abstractness of the inner senses, the more you are indifferent to the apparent existence of the world experienced with the outer senses, because when you neither feel happy or sad about it does not make sense. This does not mean, that you begin to see the world of the outer senses as in this image, although that is a possibility, but that you begin to perceive its apparent differences to not make a difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When the substantial world of the outer senses is equally synchronised with the abstractness in the world of the inner senses, you are partially somebody and nobody, but not enough somebody to know what and where you are.

Though that means you are in a state of not-knowing, part of you as someone definitive is still kept intact in order for you to be there. Read more about this in the next article What and where are the inner and outer senses.

The same applies to experiencing the world of the inner senses. There must to be someone to experience it. If not, the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is over, and so there is nothing to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

Going with the flow
Being process and not result minded though, the flow of the empty breath can also set off from what appears to be egoistic motivated. Just like it probably was part of the flow for Alexius to start writing about the empty breath by following his own idea of emphasising the synchronisation of the outer and inner senses.

Yet going with the flow, the emphasis turned out to be on the bliss of emptiness, that arises from the connectedness with the empty breath and its indifference to the belief in being someone definitive.

No concepts survive the bliss of not believing to be someone

So do not let concepts of right and wrong prevent you from going with the flow. Even within the context of living in a world defined by time and space, most ideas are deceptive.

The ground beneath our feet is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour.

You may, for example, experience the sun to go up and down. Yet it only appears so, because you believe to be someone separated from a tangible world experienced to revolve around you. Yet it is not the sun that is going up and down, but what and where you believe to be. See The sun does not go up and down – it is a deception.

Ways to connect with the empty breath
It seems, that while in the flow of writing about the empty breath, ways of explaining how to ignite a take-off to it popped up. For example, by using the energy of the stress arising from the belief in being someone definitive as a take-off. Read more about how to do that in hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

The empty breath can be felt like a swing of nothingness, that makes the body expand and contract and thereby supply it with oxygen. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Just like everything else sensed, it is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribe it with a specific shape and colour. But as the brain cannot conceive nothingness without falling into coma, the empty breath remains invisible and colourless.

If this is what you want, it is not important whether you read hack #4, Being in a state of not-knowing from beginning to end or just browse it. What is essential is to not focus on anything in particular or spend time on processing it to integrate it.*** It is not about integrating or learning something but to unlearn everything, so you do not contain anything and thus is an empty vessel can be at service for the empty breath.

Only those believing to be special have the need to do things in their own pace.

Ways to not connect with the empty breath
The need to connect with the empty breath in your own pace and to spend time on processing what you have read about it comes from the belief, that what the brain makes you appear to be is real.

In order to support this belief, you or the brain, which basically is the same since what you believe to be is a construction of thoughts, need time to twist Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings into the already established concept of what and where you are (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´).

The bliss of not believing to be someone does not come from something but nothing

Looking for something you can relate to as your true self in the teachings of a guru or somebody else, you do not look for that which is real, because it is no different from that which is one and it takes more than one to look for something. Since what you believe to be is a fantasy made from out of empty space, it is being undone when you do not relate to something but nothing because then there is no relation and therefore no more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This, however, is not necessary with the spiritual teachings in fashion. It has already been done by those promoting them so that even though spirituality is formless, it seems as if it can be obtained by someone definitive through coming from the heart or something else shaped by time and space.

In such teachings you may seem to recognise the very special entity, you believe, is your true nature. But whatever you believe to be is nothing, because spirituality is everything, as it is formless and therefore endless.

So do not read about the empty breath with the expectation of finding something to make you or the world better, but to become indifferent to what and where you appear to be.

It is a waste of time reading about the empty breath if you want to become more spiritual or wise, because just like what you believe to be, the empty breath is nothing but empty space (see the article ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be).

So the less you seem to know something,** the less something appears to hide, what you believe to be is nothing. Hence there is not something to separate you from the empty breath.

Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

It is not necessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to have it undone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The only requirement is a willingness
Leaving your comfort zone of knowing what and where you are** is not done by fighting or transforming your conditioned behaviour, but by being willing to undo the belief, that makes it possible to appear as if you are conditioned, namely the belief in being someone definitive.

About willingness see also Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This willingness most often comes from admitting, that the appearance of you as someone definitive is not a matter of fact but of make-believe. And this you admit when acknowledging, you are not willing to undo the belief in being someone definitive, because this acknowledgement confirms what you appear to be is make-believe.

Momentarily being connected with the empty breath is very blissful, because it makes you indifferent to the belief that you are someone definitive, so there does not appear to be someone bothered about the appearance of anything.

Appearing there without being there
Having the belief in being someone definitive undone, does not mean that what you appear to is destroyed, reborn or awaken. Just like within the context of this belief, it is not Santa Claus that is undone when you grow up, but the belief that he is real. In short, the indifference to the experience of you as someone definitive does not change the look of it.

Since nothing matters when connected with the empty breath, you are free to pursue whatever seems to matter.

Looking for nothing is the door to the bliss of not believing to be someone

If you are not looking for something special to confirm your belief in being special, you will probably be indifferent the apparent differences in this image and therefore also to the apparent separation between the image and what you appear to be, and hence in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are. When you start to grasp that what you appear to be is a fantasy, it is amazing to appear as if you are Santa Claus, a father, a mother or whatnot, while your on and off connection with the empty breath slowly but surely makes you indifferent to the belief that you are someone at all.

Reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings probably seem depressing, if you believe to be unique, because they do not imply there is any hope for you in the future, because that is nothing but empty space.

Yet the inclusion of hopelessness is the key to not look for something to hide the depression that is depressing anger and thus the nothingness from where bliss arises, when not hoping to find something there. See also the hack No Hope = Oneness in Extra Duality Hacks.

Whether you believe the dog in this image is real or not, the image of it remains the same. Not believing it is real, however, you are indifferent to whatever it seems to make you think and/or feel. To be indifferent or not
The below metaphor may be beneficial in regards to picking up on what it is the empty breath brings about:

When you believe to be someone – whether physical or spiritual – something must be perceived to be different from you, so you appear to be separated from it and therefore, to be someone definitive. Thus when playing a game like Monopoly, for example, you do it to make its world of illusionary differences real by insisting that they make a difference.

But the more you are in the indifference of the empty breath, the more you play Monopoly to have fun pretending, that its apparent differences make a difference.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer, balanced or whatnot, because being anything is part of the experience in being someone and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

How does it feel
The connection with the empty breath may be experienced as described by Alexius in the articles What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, and The empty breath´ undoes all conditioning. But do not count on it, because his experience of it is not static. And even if it were, you and Alexius would probably experience it in each your own way – just like would do if having the same cup of tea. Besides the main attribute of the empty breath is indifference, and that is hardly an experience.

When not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is nothing to uphold the belief in separation and therefore neither in you as someone definitive. Not trying to experience anything specific but including everything exactly as it is perceived to be brings about a perfect moment, because without excluding something there is nothing to define you as someone.

Hence you are therefore in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are, and this is also where you are when connecting with the the empty breath, having glimpses of enlightenment, or applying any other the duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one.

If these states of bliss are identical is not to know, because they are all states of not-knowing*, which is an equal mix of empty space and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, the brain has fabricated from that.

There is nobody in the bliss of not believing to be someone

In a state of not-knowing there is not enough consciousness to be aware of yourself as someone definitive separated from what you experience to a world outside of you. In this mix there is not enough consciousness to perceive the apparent differences in the world to make a difference, so you are indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive. Yet there is enough consciousness to cover that the world is nothing but empty space, so you still appear to be there, though in a more abstract way than when being fully conscious.

A state of not-knowing* lasts as long as you do not try to regain full consciousness (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), but not more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to remain as if you are someone living in a capsule of time and space.

The enlightenment of that which is one though is not a state of not-knowing, since it totally erases the memory of ever having appeared to be someone definitive (see hack #5-7.2 Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it), and without just a bit of that, there is nobody left to be in any kind of state.

Measured in linear time the enlightenment of that which is one probably just last a few minutes. We are so conditioned to believe, we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space, that the fear of annihilation takes over and we compulsively imagine to see something, so that we again appear to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

This also applies to Buddha and Jesus or anybody else who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because it only takes one to undo the belief in not being one, and there still appear to a world where there seems to be more than one, so every one has used fear as a way to reboot as somebody definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

In the article Nothing can stop you on Highway One except your belief in a world where there seems to be more than one you can read more about how the enlightenment of that which is one terminates what you believe to be and how the fear of that makes you leave enlightenment and return to that belief.

On top of that, it may not even be the empty breath, that is uncovered through the willingness to not uphold the belief in being someone definitive. Maybe it is the enlightenment of that which is one or a glimpse of it (see the article A reintroduction to the inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it), or a perfect moment (see hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment), or the freedom that comes from pretending to be what you are not (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Time is nothing in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Without the basic contrast of expansion and contraction, there is no experience of life. Yet what we experience as life is really death, because life is formless and therefore without a beginning and end, so anything that does not last forever is lifeless. It is, however, the life that makes it possible to have fantasies about being a limited being in a lifeless world – just like within the context of such a world, it is only due to that, you can to imagine being someone you are not in a virtual world of a video game. The bliss of nothing cannot be obtained, as it is not something
By implementing of one or more of the duality hacks you cancel out the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of you as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses, so that there are no differences to attest to you being different from the world where you experience to be.

As the conscious experience fabricated by the brain of you as someone separated from a world outside of you, therefore, does not make sense, you do not know what and where you are. Thus being in a state of not-knowing*.

A state of not-knowing* set-off on its own accord by the willingness to not believe you are someone definitive.

This is not a state though, where you can arrange to go, when you feel like having it integrating, because there is not something to integrate, neither anybody to have something integrated, since what you believe to be is a fantasy made from out of nothing.

In this context it is rather the nothingness of you, that is to be integrated with the nothingness of the empty breath – or more to the point, the belief that you are someone definitive is to be undone by the empty breath, so there does not seem to be something obscuring, that no matter what you believe to be, you are not made from matter, astral energy or anything else but empty space – just like the empty breath.

The person the brain has fabricated to appear, as if it is you, will keep on saying, there must be something more. And if something more is what you want, you better forget about the duality hacks, as applying for example the empty breath, the belief that it is possible to be or have more is slowly but surely undone.

It is not about learning something but to unlearn everything
To sum it up, there is nothing to know, since that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless. So although there seems to be so much to know, when appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is only one thing to know in regards to the formlessness of oneness, namely that there is nothing to know.**

Differences do not make a difference in the bliss of not believing to be someone

That is why the purpose of Alexius´ Enlightened NonTeachings is not to learn something new but to unlearn everything**. This is done by reading all of them – or flip through them – and apply one or more of the duality hacks until there is nobody to acknowledge, that the person fabricated by the brain is real, wherefore there is nothing but the bliss of being indifferent to the belief that you are someone definitive.

When you are connected with the empty breath bliss arises from being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

But as the connection is a state of not-knowing*, there is not enough consciousness to be aware of the bliss, until a state of not-knowing is left in favour for the full consciousness of being someone definitive, where memories of the bliss, it is to be indifferent to this or any other consciousness, pop up.

When you leave the empty breath, it remains connected with you, because it does not know, that you believe to be someone, who is separated from everything in the low-frequency world experienced by the outer senses.

Yet it senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, which is indifferent to the restlessness that speedy thoughts and feelings seem to produce.

What you believe to be does not exist
Should you wonder, who chooses to believe, that the image fabricated by the brain of someone definitive is you, or who has programmed the brain to produce this image, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because the experience of being somebody, whether in a so-called spiritual or physical sense, is just like having a daydream within this experience. There is nobody in it.

Everything is new in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Even though some plants are edible, not all of them are. Often the most beautiful of them often that should not be eaten if you want to remain as someone living in a capsule of time and space. And if you do not want to end, when your appearance there is over, you better avoid beautiful ideas like living in the nowcoming from the heart and being transformed, because they are based on the belief in being someone definitive, and everything definitive, contrary to the formlessness of oneness, has an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thus the empty breath and the other duality hacks are therefore just as dreamlike as anything else in the experience of being someone definitive, no matter what and where that seems to be. Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

There are lots of ways to appear as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Just like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not its a dream, and therefore not returning to its bed when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not return to the formlessness of oneness, when your apparent life in a capsule of time and space is over, because you never left it. But contrary to the illusions – for example, being transformed into something more real by living in the now and/or coming from the heart – promoted by most so-called spiritual movements in fashion, the duality hacks do not attempt to transform anything but to expose that everything experienced to exist is made from out of nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath, for example, you become indifferent to the differences in the experiences produced by the brain. Hence you do not believe you that you are someone definitive separated from others but that it is something you pretend to be.****

Though the experience of world where there seems to be more than one seems to hide there is no more than that which is one, the experience of such a world is bound to end, because that which is one is formless and therefore without end.

And as what you pretend to be, you are not, that which is you does not end, when the experience of you as someone in a capsule of time and space is over. Furthermore, until then it is much fun pretending to be what and where you are not,**** as absolutely no harm comes from that.

**) This does not mean that you should avoid learning and knowing something, or being and having more when it comes to the practical aspects of appearing to be someone definitive. Yet there is no need to think about it when connected with the empty breath because its indifference to differences makes it impossible to make choices, so in its flow, you are having the belief in being someone special undone, while enjoying the excitement of this belief to its fullest.

The bliss of nothing (in the process of being updated)

Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your wellbeing as someone definitive, as well as the undoing of the belief in being that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of you as someone at all.

Most hang onto the awareness of being somebody special and try to enhance it by getting something extraordinary. But as that confirms the belief in separation, it seems to result in an essential sorrow, regardless what you appear to achieve.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, in a row, if you want to continue the experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about this here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the state of the conscious experience of you as someone definitive and the state of not-knowing, that it entails.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath so that when it expands the body you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and in a state of not-knowing when it is contracting the body.

Hence the slate is wiped clean with each contraction of the body, provided you do not try to keep something thereby blaming others for what you appear to be, as that holds back a state of not-knowing. This is not a matter of letting go or surrender, as doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does try to figure out, if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it really makes no difference, which way you experience it to go.

What you believe to be is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the awareness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are cancelled.

As long as you go with the flow of knowing and not-knowing, you are slowly but surely having the belief in being someone undone. No need to worry about how much time it takes.

Time is an illusion and every experience is bound to end, when you continue in this flow, as in its presence the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, wherefore they one by one is cancelled out.

When every so often being connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, wherefore they are of no use for the brain in defining you or others as somebody definitive.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out differences and insist that some of them matters, for example the apparent difference between a friendship and a romantic relationship, so you start arguing with yourself or others about right and wrong.

But that is not a problem, if the frustration, this seems to cause, is used as a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences, also that of the empty breath, so there is nothing to hide that which cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

Oneness cannot be revealed, but what hides it can. This does not happen though by wanting to be at one or waiting for it to be realised, as that requires more than one.

Yet it can be realised, what it is not, namely to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not about realising the formlessness of oneness, but that it is a mistake to believe, that you are someone definitive, and that this mistake is corrected by using one or more of the duality hacks, for example the empty breath, as in its flow of nothingness, there is not something to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Since realising something only is possible in a world where there seems to be more than one and since it is a world of linear time, this realisation is a process in time.

Nothing can be done to speed up the process of undoing the belief in being someone definitive, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive. Besides, it is not a process, as the moment you are willing to have it undone, it is undone.

Yet this may seem to occur in the future, because in a world of linear time, everything appears to take time – just like it takes time for the rays of the sun to reach the Earth.

The willingness to realise, that the belief in being someone definitive is a mistake is most often initiated by admitting, you are not willing to realise this, because by acknowledging that, you are agreeing to be someone definitive is make-believe and therefore not that which is you.*

+ To be nobody and yet somebody (in the process of being updated)

It is the brain that and nobody else that tells you to experience someone as stupid or bright, for example. If you accept this to be a fact, the brain will go on suggesting how you should with that. Whether you consider or reject the suggestions, you are well entangled in the game of the brain, which is to make you believe that you are separated from what you experience so you appear to be someone definitive in a world that seems to be outside of you.

This is not to say, that there are ways to escape that game, except, of course, to die. So if you want to go on as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you play the game of the brain, which is actually quite fun because when you do that, it supports you with shots of happiness.

And like all other games, the end is built into it, so you do not have to feel stuck. When your time is up, you forget everything about a world where there seems to be more than one and thus about you being someone, so nobody appears to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Until then, you have much fun appearing to be in the game if you perceive the experiences the brain fabricates of it as they are, and not as they ought to be according to a special belief system like socialism, capitalism, Buddhism or any other ism.

In the case, your perception relates to the experiences as they are, regardless it is a negative or positive perception, you are not someone definitive but someone relative to the brain (read more about that here), that supports you with shots of happiness. If your perception does not relate to the experiences as they are but to a belief system of yours, this system seems to establish you as someone definitive in charge of its own life. But since it never turns out as it ought to be, you do not feel happy but frustrated. Read more about that here.

If you connect with the empty breath you are not relative to the brain anymore, nor independent of it because you are nobody and thus not somebody in the experiences that the brain creates, although you appear to be in them. In other words, you are in the world of the brain but not of it. This, however, is only possible for 20 minutes, 45 at most (see the end of this article). Fortunately, it is possible to get around that by quickly shifting between the conscious experience of being somebody and having no consciousness of what and where you appear to be. This is what we explore in the below:

It is easy to connect with the empty breath when not looking for something
If not suppressing specific experiences by making a perception of them that seems to make sense according to a particular belief system like socialism or capitalism, for example, the uncontrolled energy of them will ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

Connecting with it may at first feel as if you have two kinds of breaths. The one that you are used and that you probably out of habit are forcefully doing until you stop interfering so the empty breath can take over at its own pace, which may be slower than you are used to and with a longer break in between breaths and not deep at all.

Physically speaking it is like breathing in gently starts from a generator in the abdomen without any emphasis on the nose and when breathing out there is a little push of air out the nose. That being said, this is not something you need to remember and strictly follow. The empty breath does not know what you believe to do. The only thing needed for the connection to work is a willingness to go with the flow.

Although the empty breath has nothing to give but emptiness, it feels like you get more energy. Probably because the lack of something dissolves the tensions in the body that restricts a full breath. When it flows freely, every moment is the perfect moment. Nothing is missing or wrong.

As emptiness is powerless, it cannot do this without your permission, and if you are not ready for this, it may take some time before you see, nothing is missing or wrong. No worries. As time is an illusion, every moment is the perfect moment. But let us get more practical and talk about how to get there:

When breathing in, you follow thoughts and/or feelings all the way to the top of the head without making a perception of them that excludes what you judge to be politically incorrect. At the top of the head, the gentle explosion of their restless energy brings back the clarity of nothing, so you are in the bliss of being indifferent to something and thus also being someone definitive.

Following the breath down to the abdomen, you are therefore in a state of not-knowing. You remain in this state by continually going up and down with the breath, and you leave it when perceiving an appearance to make a difference.

This should not be understood as a state of not-knowing is in the flow of the physical breath – just like the music you turn on by hitting a button is not in that action. A state of not-knowing is nowhere in particular and therefore obscured by the experiences of time and space, that seems to confirm you as someone definitive in a tangible world.

Following the rhythm of the breath as described above or in the other articles about it (see the below box) fascinates the brain, so it forgets to continually produce a conscious experience of you as someone separated from others by time and space. As this is the primary purpose of following the breath, it is not essential to do it in the exact same the way you interpret it should be done according to Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

If you think you will find something better around the next corner, you will probably not notice the empty breath, because it is not behind anything but before everything. Looking for something, you do not notice the empty breath because it is nothing
Although being in the bliss of the empty breath is simple and straightforward, it may seem complicated if you are conditioned with the ideas of controlling and/or stopping thoughts because controlling or preventing something is not possible in the nothingness of bliss.

Neither is that beneficial for getting into it. On the contrary. It is when you do not try to stop thoughts or in any other way focus on them, that they are free to speed up until the explosion of their restless energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, and thus to the blissful state of not-knowing. In short, it is not focussing but defocusing that will get you to a state of not-knowing in which thoughts may go on, as usual. Yet there is not someone definitive to be conscious of that.

The apparent difference between a boy or a girl, for example, must be upheld as real to sustain the belief, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. This appearance remains precisely the same when connected with the empty breath, but due to its indifference, your appearance is not judged to make a difference. The flow of the empty breath is flexible
Being defocused, you may forget the above description of going up and down in alignment with the rhythm of the breath and instead go the other way around. Or the distance of going up and down may be diminished or enlarged, so when going up you pass the top of the head and going down, you go below the abdomen. No worries. There is nobody to notice the apparent difference. Thus it makes no difference.

Going up and down is very much like described in the paragraphs The swing of ´the empty breath´ and Surfing ´the empty breath´ in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

The brain will try to process a state of not-knowing into an experience of something instead of nothing by babling about awakening, coming from your pure essence, heart (read more about that here) or whatnot, so the image it has fabricated of you as someone definitive is confirmed as real and thus obscure it is made from out of nothing. Do not worry if the above seems a bit complicated. You do not have to remember it. Just connect with the empty breath and go with the flow as it comes. Having done that a few times, you automatically return to the empty breath, whenever you prefer to perceive grievances as nothing instead of something. Read more about that in the below articles:

The flow of going up and down
Instead of remaining in a state of not-knowing after going down to the abdomen when the breath contracts the body, you can return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, when you leave the abdomen and with the expansion of the body goes up to the head again. This you do by perceiving yourself to make a difference.

But from the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can return to the connectedness with the empty breath. Not perceiving the thoughts and feelings constituting this experience to be something specific they ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Thus you leave the head with no specific thoughts and feelings when the body contracts and go with the flow of the breath down to the abdomen where you reconnect with the empty breath until you again go up with the flow to the head and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive – and so on.

Having been in this flow for a while it becomes automatic. Thus you appear to be someone who is conscious of itself but does not know what it means. In other words, you are in the world but not of it.

When not in the connectedness with the empty breath, grudges and so-called negative thoughts keep popping up as before. But as the after effect of the connection is happiness you do not bother.

You cannot know when you are connected with the empty breath because being it you are in a state of not-knowing. Nor can you know who it is that is following the breath as when the contrast of up and down eventually cancels out itself (read more about that here), there is not someone going up and down or anywhere else. Until then, blissful memories of not knowing will pop up and sweeten what you believe to know.

As time is an illusion, the contrast making up the flow has already canceled out itself or more to the point, nor this or any other contrast has ever existed because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. But while you believe there is, enjoy the flow of going up an down until it cancels out itself and thus you as well.

As reality is that which is one and as it takes more than one to go anywhere, it has nothing to say except I am here. But if you believe that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, here does not seem to be enough. Yet it makes no difference, as there is no more than here because oneness is formless and therefore everywhere. That is also why that which is here cannot be known. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

No more than that which is one
Should you forget to follow the flow and thus forget about the empty breath, there is no reason to condemn yourself for that, because there is no self. It takes more than one to be or have a self, and as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, any kind of self is make-believe. For the same reason remembering the empty breath is also make-believe. Read more about the illusion of experiences here:

Nevertheless, remembering the empty breath makes it easier not to believe, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. And sometimes not believing this, you are aware you are nothing and thus in the bliss of emptiness. But since it also requires more than one to be blissful, it is of course also an illusion.

Yet if you stay in this illusion for 20 minutes, 45 at most, the brain falls into a coma and unable to make the experiences that seem to manifest you as someone definitive. As the nothingness of the experiences it used to produce, therefore, is exposed, there does not appear to be something hiding there never was and or will be more than that which is one.

What is ´the empty breath´ about? (in the process of being updated)

Everything fabricated – like for example this illustration of a yin-yang sign – is supposed to have a special appearance, so that the experience of it supplies the belief, that you are somebody special. But this is not the purpose of the empty breath. On the contrary. Its purpose is to undo the belief, that you are someone at all, which it does by helping you see, that the apparent differences in the world do not make a difference, so it does not matter whether anything appears perfect or not. If you want to occur as if you are somebody important in the low-frequency world of the outer senses you must appear to be perfect. But as there is nothing important to be in the high-frequency world of the inner senses, no perfection is needed there – neither to feel the empty breath. All that is needed to feel it, while appearing to be in the world of the outer senses, is that you have no intention of making a difference.

When people tell you to slow down and relax via mindfulness and whatnot, they take away your only way to be laid-back, because that comes from speeding up thoughts and feelings until you feel so confused, that you stop trying to control them and therefore no longer are preventing them from igniting a take off to ´the empty breath´, that synchronise the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high frequency world of the inner senses, so that speedy thoughts and feelings are not felt to cause stress but tranquility.

Whatever seems to disturb you in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressful, when the empty breath synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses. Thus you slowly but surely become indifferent to your interpretation of right and wrong.

Once connected with the empty breath – even just for a split second – what you believe to be is undone and the nothingness of you is included in its nothingness, so no matter if you remember it or whatever you seem to think, feel or do, it remains with you. In other words, forgetting the empty breath does not change anything, except that you do not feel the transparent bliss of its indifference until you again ignite a take-off to it.

At times you may feel so angry, that you do not want to be guided by the empty breath, because you know it will make you indifferent to those you blame for having caused the anger, so you actively override its flow* in order to make sure, that they will be punished.

But since we receive what we give, it is you who suffers from the punishment (read more about that here). That is until you have had enough of manipulating the world into what you judge to be right and instead use your frustrations of what seems to be wrong to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference
The nature of the empty breath is not happiness but indifference, and as this releases you from the boundaries of a world defined by time and space, it may feel as if you are in a merry-go-round world.

The empty breath is indifferent to differences, so if you do not fence it off by trying to exclude what you judge as negative in order to appear as if you are only positive, whatever you seem to feel will be interpreted by the indifference of the empty breath. Consequently feeling happy or sad is the same. Not in the sense that happiness and sadness feels the same, but in the sense that the apparent difference makes no difference.

But feelings never last, so if you hang onto pleasant feelings instead of going with the flow of being indifferent to feelings, your merry-go-round world will be replaced by its contrast, which is sadness But this is only so, because you mistook the empty breath for the giver of happiness instead of indifference, so if you stick with the latter, it makes no difference if you feel happy or sad, which is very blissful.

The swing of the inner breath may be experienced abruptly – like in this animation but probably a lot slower – in a s body with muscles problems from for example psoas or diafragma. There is no reason though trying to make it swing more smoothly by improving the condition of the body. The inner breath always adjust itself to the current condition of the body, so no matter how it moves it results in the same joy, providing you are not looking to be perfect.

In a sick body, the swing of the empty breath may be experienced to come in bursts – a bit like in this animation but probably slower. But no matter how restricted the swing of it is experienced, the connection with it will always entail indifference, so if you stick with that the way it is experienced makes no difference. Reasons for not feeling the empty breath
Not feeling the swing of the empty breath may be due to trying too much, focussing on it, or assuming the experience of it will make you feel something special. In these cases you are trying to fabricate a specific feeling yourself, wherefore forever changing connectedness with the empty breath cannot be sensed.

The same applies, if you try to override it* by taking a deep breath, shortening, pushing or holding back your breath every now and then, so there is time enough to make plans by yourself, and thus be established as an autonomous creature with a will of its own.

Basically there is only one reason for not feeling the empty breath, namely that you want to feel it, which is only possible because you believe to be something and not just nothing like the empty breath. In other words, to feel the empty breath you must step aside

The connectedness with the empty breath – either through its transparent sound, the swing of it, surfing its waves, or the sparkling force behind these rhythmic movements – is not a feeling that can be fabricated like for example a romantic evening generated by candles, special clothes, music and red wine. On the contrary. It is felt, when instead of busy trying to produce a specific feeling, the hectic energy is used as a take-off to the empty breath.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So if you not feeling the empty breath multitasking will connect you with it.

The empty breath never feels the same
Even though the empty breath seems to produce a constant rhythm of expansion and contraction in the body, your experience of it may not be that of consistency. And you are right. It is not consistent, and it has no such need. Only those who believe to be somebody definitive has a need to be consistent, and as the empty breath does not believe to be anything at all, it does not need to uphold a consistent image of itself.

The empty breath can be compared to the cats in the home of Alexius. They go around as it pleases them, but he can always count on them to greet him when he gives them a call.

Feeling the empty breath is like receiving a new gift every moment. There is no way, however, to know what the gift is before receiving it, neither do you need to know, because you are in a state of not-knowing.

The energy at the root of the inner breath may be experienced a bit like this, but in less defined forms and colors.

Likewise, he can always count on the empty breath, and even though it only moves on its own accord, it is always to be felt in one way or the other. Maybe he experiences to be going up and down on a single wave several times in a row, where after he may feel the swing of it inside of his head, and then continue to surf of both of the yin-yang looking waves.

After igniting a take-off to the empty breath, he mostly lands in its very fast and chaotic energy at the root of it, which feels like freedom compared to the rigid world of the outer senses. Going to bed it may be the transparency of its sound that comes to him. But first of all he simply feels the indifference of the empty breath, and since that means the apparent differences in the world does not appear to make a difference, it is hardly a feeling.

Using other duality hacks to get to the indifference of the empty breath
As any other Duality Hack except the enlightenment of that which is one induces a state of not-knowing, you can use one or more of the those, if you have problems connecting with the empty breath.

No matter which of them or how many you apply, you will end up in a state of not-knowing, which always is the same in the sense that it entails an indifference to the belief in being someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to experience nothing as if it is something, so you are in the transparent bliss of nothing.

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath is not something definitive, it cannot be felt in a specific way. Yet it can be felt in an undefinable way anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body – but never consistently as the same, although it is constantly there.

The empty breath can be felt in many ways within its non-definable framework of a ball like thing, that passes through the head – or above it – and the stomach or below it. Yet it is not experienced in relation to the body, nor inside or outside. This is not because everything is perceived to at one when connected with the empty breath, but that the experience of something is perceived to be nothing (read more about that here).

Having an out-of-body experience is based on the belief that you are someone in a body, which is the opposite of the experience that comes from being connected with the empty breath, as it undoes the belief that you are someone in a body. Read more about that here.

Hence the connectedness with the empty breath is not an out-of-body experience, but a no-body experience. This does not mean, however, that you do not take care of the body, your beloved ones and whatnot when connected with the empty breath, but that it makes no difference if doing so seems to pay off or not.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears to be disturbing, but trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying is delaying, so you want to be disturbed.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else that is in a fixed position. Everything is always moving, so the experience of it changes from moment to moment from as if it is in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside the body. So if your experience differs from the descriptions in this article, go with the flow as it comes to you.

Feelings are subjective
If you are future-minded, the empty breath may be felt to come from somewhere in front of you, whereas it probably is felt to come from the back if you are concerned about the past. And if you are into the concepts like living in the now, being centred and balanced, it may be felt as if it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of the empty breath is coloured by your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath, because contrary to you it has no need to be acknowledged in a special way. So whether you experience it to be in the stomach, the chest, inside or outside the body, it carries out its one and only purpose, which is to make you indifferent to the apparent different experiences in the world where you believe to be.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to this indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

Since the empty breath is not static, the experience of it may change from moment to moment, and it may differ from the experiences described in this article. No worries. Being connected with it is not about doing something specific to feel something definitive, but going with the flow. It is only when you want to make a difference, you must do ´the right thing´.

A basic intro to the non-definitive form of the empty breath
The empty breath has the form of an egg-shaped ball with lots of oval circles moving inside of it, but contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Nor do the circles inside of it, and there are so many that there is no space between them. Although the circles are empty, they all contain two yin-yang like waves. This you cannot see in the simplified illustration to the right but there is a simulation of this in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that the edges of it are blurry but that neither its size or shape is constant. It may grow bigger and smaller here and there so that it momentarily feels to be more pear-shaped than egg-shaped, for example.

As there is no up and down in the empty breath, the biggest part of the pear-shaped version of it may be in the top as well as in the bottom, or in the sides, or anywhere in between. And as the apparent centre of each one of the circles appearing to be inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath is floating around, there are many none fixed centres.

Even though there appear to be an endless amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath, and they are moving in each their own direction with each their own yin-yang like formed waves moving inside of them, they are actually fused into one movement of two yin-yang like waves rolling in all directions – at bit like in the animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or in the two last animations of this article.

But as that is very difficult to comprehend in a world where we are conditioned to divide reality in more than one, most will probably not feel the totality of the empty breath, but one of the many circles that seems to make it up. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow, as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre, and though it seems to consists of many different movements in each their own size and shape, everything is actually fused into one single move. As this may be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one it is most likely easier to experience just one of its aspects at a time.

This could be like going in a circle going from the stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head when breathing in, and from there in a circular movement in front of the body and back to the stomach when breathing out. The direction, however, does not matter. As already said, it is all about going with the flow. So if that seems to go the opposite way, by all means, go that way.

The flow can also be in a circle, about the same diameter as above, that instead goes from the abdomen to the throat or rectum to the heart. The diameter of the circle can also be expanded so it goes from the abdomen to a point above the head or from the rectum to a point further above the head.

No matter where you perceive the location of the empty breath to be, it is the same emptiness you experience a second before the brain processes it into an experience of something perceived to be substantial (read more about that here). As the emptiness of the expanded circle metaphorically speaking goes from hell to heaven, you may feel frightened or spaced out if you get stuck in one of those extremes.

Going with the flow of the circular movement in one of the above circles feels like you are surfing two yin-yang like waves inside the empty breath. But this is just one of the ways to experience the empty breath. Below is a short introduction to them and then a more detailed description to each of them.

Be aware though, feeling the empty breath, as described in this article, is only possible to the extent that you do not wish to be or have more spiritually, mentally, emotionally or materialistically because the empty breath has not anything to give but the transparent bliss of nothing.

A basic intro to the ways of feeling the empty breath
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below paragraph of the same name) or the indifference of it (check out the paragraph The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference in the article What is ´the empty breath´ about?) is a state of not-knowing in which you seem to be floating on clouds of bliss, whereas the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of it is more like if you are moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythmic flow of the empty breath can be heard as a distant sound (see the below paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the below paragraph The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin-yang like waves in and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

Each of the non-definable circles inside the non-definable ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consist of two yin-yang like looking waves (but without the two holes), that are not fixated and probably moves in sync with the breath – or rather the breath moves in sync with them. It is therefore not so much about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath, which may feel like you are surfing the outside of the two yin-yang like waves more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

Surfing the empty breath
In the above illustration to the right, you see a very simplified simulation of the empty breath in which you are not able to see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does it reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre and each of the circles inside it contains two non-definitive waves like in the above image, that can be surfed. Please notice that although the waves look like the two parts of a yin-yang sign, they have no holes. And as they actually are colourless, the colours in this image and all the others in this article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the body is expanded by the breath, you surf the outside of the yellow wave from the stomach and behind the body up in the head. From there you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body down to the abdomen or below it, while the breath is contracting the body. That is if you are sensing the waves in a circle going from the back to the front of the body. See a more detailed explanation of the different possibilities for the placement of the circles containing the waves in the above intro to the empty breath.

Besides surfing the waves in that circle, you can surf the waves in a circle going from the left to the right side of the body and in circles anywhere in between these. No matter what circle you are surfing, you most feel the waves in the circular movement outside the body.

It is not about being in total synch with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, neither does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped. What matters is to follow the flow as it comes to you, because that makes you forget the physical breath so it can take care of itself without any interruption from you being stressed or trying to impose ideas of balance, tranquillity and whatnot upon it.

Maybe the most joyous way to surf the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue by going the entire way around the other one, more or less in alignment with the breath extracting and contracting the body. There may be more joyous ways revealed to you, when following the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outer senses, so that following the flow of the two yin-yang like waves feels like surfing them is an imagination of his.

You can also surf the opposite way than described in the above. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness so this might speed up undoing the belief in being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies if the non-definable edges of the empty breath are not experienced to touch the body but pass it on top of the head and below the abdomen, as that means there is no relation to the body when surfing it.

Thus you are set free from the body (read more about this here), and the body is set free from you, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to control it based on the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection, which is not possible. Just like you cannot import physical elements in a dream or vice versa. This does of course not mean, that you should refrain from consulting a qualified health care professional, who can assist in supporting the biological system of the body.

You cannot be someone definitive, when going with the flow of the empty breath, so the belief in being someone separated from the formlessness of that which is one is slowly but surely being undone.

As already said, there is no right way of being with the empty breath. Unlike in the world of the outer senses, where a wrong move can be fatal, there is no right way of going with the flow of the empty breath, so no need to bother about the right way of doing it. Besides going with the flow of the empty breath, you will soon be indifferent to what is right or wrong.

Going with the flow without knowing where and why.

Surfing the empty breath to feel good regardless of the condition of the body
Generally speaking, you will as already stated, most feel the flow of the waves in one circle – probably the one going from the back to the front of the body or the other way around – but you can also jump from circle to circle or feel them all simultaneously. It is not important. Neither is it essential to know all this.

As it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that feeling something is possible, so the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

Alexius was not aware of the empty breath in such a detailed way as described in this article before he started writing what the empty breath feels like and therefore took a closer look upon it. He usually just follows the flow without thinking about direction and whatnot, because in his case the flow mostly results in the sense of indifference.

But if you want, it is possible to be a bit more choosy than he generally is. Apparent problems with the past, or in the back, may benefit from being massaged by the empty breath through surfing both sides of a single wave in the back of you.

Should you need to be grounded, you could choose to surf all the way around a single wave passing through the abdomen or even lower in the direction from the back to the front of you, or the other way, or from side to side, or both of those waves, or any one or more waves in between.

Just like what you appear to be is nothing so is the empty breath, but unlike you, it has no need to conceal that by appearing to be something. Consequently nothing prevents it from being what and where it is most beneficial for you – even under your feet if that what it takes to make things work.

And if you feel the need to be intuitive or fact-minded (the right or left side of the brain), you could surf both of the waves passing the head from side to side in relation to it. The same, but around the chest, would be fine if it is hollow and seems to restrict the breath. That direction, but maybe around the head or stomach instead, is also very good in the case of vertigo, eventually combined with surfing the waves back and forth, where the waves may adjust themselves to go from feet to head.

In the case of a blocked abdomen, you surf a single wave down there in front of the body going sideways from right to left or the other way. You could also just surf back and forth the front of the wave. The size of the wave adjusts to the need for opening up the abdomen. Has sadness been hidden there, you may feel like crying. If so you take your time to do so and then return to the same part of the empty breath if that is where the flow calls for you to go.

It may also call for surfing a combination of single waves, for example interchange between surfing the wave at the abdomen and a single wave in front of you, that does not go sideways but from the head to stomach or the other way. Maybe surfing them simultaneously or maybe not just single waves but both waves in a circular movement around the abdomen and from the back and forth of you – or whatever combination that seems beneficial to you in regards to the problem.

The empty breath is extremely helpful in regards to alleviate allergy symptoms or other kinds of symptoms coming from IBS and COPD, for example. Not in the sense that it heals those things, but that it makes you indifferent to the state of the body and thus able to feel good regardless its state and therefore able support it without projecting fear upon it – read more about that here.

In the case of Alexius, the state of his body is far from good, so he speaks from personal experience when he says, that due to the indifference of the empty breath IBS and COPD, for example, are not something he needs to get over with so he can feel better, because everything is as it is. See also when he was saved by helicopter from the rainforest, even though he did not feel there was something to be saved from.

There are many possibilities for using the empty breath. Yet it is best not to use it but being used by it and to go with the flow as it comes to you because that sets the body free to heal itself. That is why it is so good in cases of psychosomatic disorders. Read more about that here. It is not commendable though to catch every detail about the empty breath in this article, as an intellectual understanding will not help you to feel the connectedness with the empty breath. On the contrary.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is not possible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath, because it has no definable form or movement. This animation, however, may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels as if it is coming from a non-definitive curved line, that is to be compared to the line in between the two forms of a yin-yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in a yin-yang sign the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but rather a non-definable ball, wherein there are many non-definable circles with each their own curved line. Depending on where one of these circles are experienced to be located in regards to the standard definitions of directions the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately, the animation is not really illustrating this, neither that though the swing of it is mighty, the experience of it may be that it is in no hurry to expand and contract the body.

The swing of the empty breath
What is said in the above about surfing the empty breath generally speaking also apply to feeling the swing of it, except that it is felt solely inside the body, where the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two waves is sensed as a swing, that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Due to the limited size of the body though, this line is felt less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described in the above.

The steady swing of the empty breath may seem to expand and contract the body slower than when you imagined being in charge of breathing. Yet the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed, that at first, it feels like the body does not have enough room for it. Maybe the break in between expansion and contraction also feels too long.

Just like surfing the empty breath can be done with any of the circles within the non-definitive borderline of the empty breath, the swing of it can be felt through the movement of the curved line floating in the middle of any one of these circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front in relation to the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, as you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it may be so foreign to you that you probably prefer following the swing of the empty breath in one circle at a time.

Alexius experiences the swing of the empty breath merged into one simultaneously movement, that feels like no movement at all, when listening to the opening of the opera ´Ahhnaten´ by Philip Glass.

If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all its directions simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as everything is spinning – see the speedy animation just below – but it quickly turns into a feeling of everything standing still – see the third image from here – so you feel breathless and the bliss of being indifferent to whatever you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm that with much force expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle and probably seems to be slower than you are used to – unlike the driving force behind the rhythm of the empty breath, that is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball of it. And even though the particles of this force is moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos, as that prevents you from focussing on anything specific, so you feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

The operator of the empty breath
Besides from feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing on the outer sides of two yin-yang like waves in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy at the root of the empty breath is not in line with the rhythm of the breath. Yet it is the force behind it. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here, there and everywhere or as if spinning through a world with no limits.

There are no rules, but it could very well be, that a take-off to ´the empty breath´ will take you to this aspect of the empty breath … and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit into the rigid world of the outer senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath but like surfing its waves, this force is felt both inside and outside of the body. It is probably easier to feel its very subtle energy outside of the body because there the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch it, but go with its fleetness, it feels like you are a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you may be transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of the empty breath.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where the operator of it resides and where you most likely land after igniting the empty breath, is therefore a good starting point, when you want to feel the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you out of habit try to focus on the empty breath to hear the transparent sound of it (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, your effort to pinpoint it will fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach tits rhythmic flow and transparent sound of it is, therefore, to start in the chaos at the root of the empty breath – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all around it – as that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, wherefore there is not something definitive blocking out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

The transparent sound of the empty breath
Just like the rhythm of bass is not only heard but also felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ´so´ when it expands the body and ´ham´ when contracting it.

Sometimes this rhythmic sound of ´so-ham´ seems to come from the nose and sometimes from an undefined space in the back of the head. But since there does not seem to be any boundaries, the sound neither is experienced to be inside or outside the head. At other times it seems to come from a distant space outside the body as if the breath has nothing to do with your appearance in a body.

Feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a compelling experience like feeling the rhythm of the bass, because it cancels out the feeling of being in a specific body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa, for example, does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it.

This is basically due to the brain not being able to create a conscious experience of the signals it claims to receive from the sensory system of the body, when you are connected with the empty breath (read more about that here), wherefore there is nobody to divide them into judgments of inside and outside, good and bad, high and low, me and them and so on. Hence the apparent differences in the experience of in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference.

Since this means there is nothing to define such a world, it becomes obvious it is not real but a fantasy made from out of nothing. But just like the reality in the world of a game is the same whether you believe it to be real or not, the reality of a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same, when you sense it is an illusion. Your relation with it, however, is forever changed. There is nobody to believe you are someone definitive there because it is something you pretend (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body ends.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath as it manifests in the swing or transparent sound of the empty breath, as otherwise it is the end of you when the body stops to function. In that moment it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in the operator of empty breath, so that there is not something specific to stop the enlightenment of that which is one from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath, you may naturally float into glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which the visual-minded will experience as visions of light and the auditory minded as ethereal harmonies. If you are more emotional minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises or taste the sweetness of life.

These glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, for example, the visual aspect of it, will merge into one, if not interpreted as something specific. Hence there is no experience of that which is you being different from that which is one, so nothing seems to hide there never was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

The empty breath is not an appearance that can be manifested by the manipulating the physical breath or by exercising any other form of control.

Hearing or feeling the empty breath is not something that can be provoked by the execution of specific exercises. It is the other way around. When you are not looking for something specific, the empty breath can move on its own accord.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say, that techniques cannot be helpful in regards to tone down the experience of you as someone definitive so that the apparent existence of you in the tangible world fabricated by the brain does not seem to be a fact but make-believe. Unfortunately most forget, that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like a remote control have nothing to do with the music it triggers.

As the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing there is no awareness of separation. Hence the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing
Alexius does not really know what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like because it is a state of not-knowing. However, for the purpose of writing about it, he had many short moments of the empty breath ignited, so that he from the vague memories of those could write what it felt like.

If the resulting descriptions seem patchy and confusing, you can use the disorientation to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´Where to find ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not only to be experienced within its border, because it has no specific border, so if you are experiencing it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, because only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Remember that just like the experience of an orgasm is a very personal thing, so is the experience of the connectedness with the empty breath, even though what you experience is not personal and that you actually have no consciousness about it, since the connection is established half a second before a conscious experience of you as someone definitive is fabricated by the brain. Read more about that here.

In the resulting state of not-knowing what and where you are, which lasts until you insist that the apparent differences registered by the brain make a difference and you, therefore, must be someone separated from what you see. Until then there is nobody to experience, how blissful it is not believing to be someone definitive.

In other words, the feelings of the empty breath are memories, that pop up when you again believe to be someone definitive. And as memories are based on a very personal selection, your memories may be coloured in another way than in the above descriptions based on the memories of Alexius.

What you believe to be and see is nothing but empty space. Thus not being and seeing something specific is a blissful revelation of emptiness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does not know about time and space, and since what and where we believe to be is based on that concept, it does not know us either. This is not because the empty breath is spiritual, but because it just like everything else that seems to be something is nothing, since there is nothing outside of spirituality as it is formless and therefore without beginning or end, For the same reason there is there nothing specific in it.

In other words, there is no world defined by time and space. Yet based on how the brain processes nothing into something, we believe to be somebody definitive experiencing a world defined by time and space.

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space, and the rest, which we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world, is also empty space. This experience, however, is just a cover-up for us being the same nothingness as the empty breath. The only reason we believe to experience something instead of nothing is that the brain renders fragments of nothingness into a tangible world, which it confirms as real by rendering others fragment into somebody substantial. This is, of course, a trick, because there are no fragments of nothing to render into anything. Read more about that here.

It is not possible to be something specific, because reality is oneness and since it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Thus it is only the belief, that you are someone substantial in a tangible world, that seems to separate you from the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. But whether nothingness is processed by the brain or not, the experience of it is equally illusionary. Thus the empty breath has not something but nothing to give you, which is like walking on clouds of bliss.

Yet, that is just as illusionary as the experience of a tangible world, where you and Alexius appear to be substantial appearances separated by time and space.

The connectedness with the empty breath, however, is so closely related with the basic contrast making up the consciousness of you as someone definitive, namely expansion and contraction, that a continuous connection with the empty breath cancels out this contrast (read more about that here), so the brain cannot uphold the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to believe that nothing can be turned into something.

Hence there is not something in the world where you experience to be that disappears in the connection with the empty breath, except the belief that you are someone definitive having these experiences, wherefore there is nobody to confirm their apparent differences to make a difference, and thus nothing to support it as real.

But if you want to appear as if you are still someone substantial in the tangible world fabricated by the brain, it is not possible to continue being connected with the empty breath for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most (read more about that here, because in its rhythmic flow all contrasts are cancelled out, so the brain has nothing to work with, wherefore it falls into coma, if you do not support it by you seeking out specific thoughts and feelings that confirm you are a separated being in a world of duality, for example by sending love and healing to others.

Should you wonder who seeks out thoughts and feelings or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because there is nobody in empty space. Just like there is nobody in a dream or anybody making it. Neither is the dream in the one appearing to dream it since there is nothing in it. Read more about this in the intro to the empty breath.

To make long short, what you believe to be in a world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts automatically processed by the brain from out of nothing as if they represent something substantial. Thus you cannot connect with the nothingness of the empty breath, unless you are willing to have this belief in something undone.

This article is a preface to What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?

That is why it is best not interpret it from a material point of view when the swing of the empty breath is described as something inside the body (see the paragraph of the same name in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?), because it is not something definitive in a specific place (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?).

Also be aware that the description of the empty breath in that article is written by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, which means that just like the concepts of the world in a game like Monopoly, for example, are acknowledged but not believed to be real, the concept of the contrasts that seem to twist empty space into elements like inside and outside, are acknowledged but not believed to be real.

In regards to the experience of the empty breath it is, therefore, best to deal with the definitive terms like inside and outside as metaphors for nothing.*

Yet you are not in charge of anything, because there is not something in the world where you believe to be, nor is what you believe to be there, since there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

This does not describe the empty breath. It is not formless but nothing. And that is why it is your way back to the formlessness of oneness – or rather your way to see, that there is no more than the formlessness of oneness, because in the continuous connectedness with it the empty breath, differences do not appear to make a difference, so there is no separation to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

This is not a realisation of oneness. It cannot be realised, as it takes more than to realise something. But when the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is completely undone, which it is after 20 minutes, 45 at most, in a state of not-knowing (read more about that here), every single memory of a world where there seems to be more than one is gone, so there is not something appearing to hide what has been or will be more than that which is one.


*) This is not to say that the apparent physical border of the body never should be taken literally. In fact, it is very important to take it seriously, as long as it is experienced to contain what you believe to be.

+ Unrestrained chaos ignites a take-off to ´the empty breath´ [draft]

Not interfering with the speed of thoughts and feelings, they are set free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that syncs the worlds of the outer and inner senses, wherefore everything definable, stress, for example, is absorbed by the high-frequency world of the inner senses and thus not felt as something specific. Like most, you probably succeed in organising thoughts and feelings into a perception that supports your preferred belief system of what is good and evil and thus appear to be one of the good ones. That is until you are at sleep. Then thoughts and feelings start flying off on their own in ways that do not support any system. If you have had enough from being a victim of the specific system they normally seem to uphold, you do not try to regain control of them when you wake up but simply join the unrestrained chaos of thoughts and feelings.

Not trying to systematise thoughts and feelings, their chaotic energy in about one second syncs the material world experienced with the outer senses with the abstract world of the inner senses in which everything moves so fast and unorganised that the chaos in the material world does not seem disturbing but comforting.***

This synchronisation, however, may not last very long because you are so used to organise thoughts and feelings into a meaningful structure, so you out of reflex make a perception of the new fluid experience, where it seems to be more substantial and, therefore, useable in the material world of the outer senses.

If you want to undo this perception, so you see the material world of the outer senses through the abstract world of the inner senses, you must include the thoughts and feelings you excluded to make a perception that supports the way you used to see the world. Fortunately, this is very easy. You just blame somebody else for your present state of mind (read more about that here).

Doing that, the thoughts and feelings you have suppressed are exposed outside of you and included in you when bringing them back by being them. As completely being them leaves nothing to contrast you and therefore not something to define you, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. This way to include what you have suppressed is useful any time, you feel stuck by your perception.

When the fear of the unknown is fully acknowledged by totally being that, what seemed to be something with the power to frighten you, is unveiled as nothing. Thus what is unveiled is neither hell or heaven but the transparency of bliss.

The avoidance of a feeling makes it appear to be something dangerous, whereas the acknowledgement of it unveils it is nothing and that the absence of something is blissful. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware, that to fully acknowledge your suppressed thoughts and feelings can at first be felt like a trip to hell, because when you start digging them out, every thought and feeling that you ever have buried is released. Until they are fully acknowledged one by one or in bundled in one by their common denominator, namely the fear of hell, it may feel as if having one panic attack after another or always being depressed.

All those who like to talk about emotions are not into feeling them but to control their appearance, because if something is totally felt, it is unveiled as nothing, wherefore there is no feelings to talk about.

Since it may be too horrifying to acknowledge them all at once, it is probably a process over time, where an on and off connection with the empty breath slowly but surely makes you indifferent to the apparently different inhibited feelings popping up, so inevitably there is nobody experiencing something specific. In The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´ there is more about how to totally be a specific feeling so that it becomes indefinable and therefore is unveiled as nothing but transparent bliss. As any construction of thoughts can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, and as a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but a construct of thoughts, there is nothing in it that cannot be used be used for that.

The way Picasso learned to paint was by replicating traditional art, which he did until he was so good at it that he could forget the techniques and go with the flow of the brush. But there is nobody to replicate in regards to connecting with the empty breath because its flow is that of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Not knowing anything ignites a take-off to the empty breath
We usually learn something by replicating someone. That is how we learned to talk and walk. Connecting with the empty breath, however, is not about learning but unlearning, so the purpose of this and the other articles in hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not to learn something but to unlearn everything you believe to know – including ideas of spirituality.

This also applies, of course, also to read about Alexius experiences of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?. They are not meant to be replicated but to give you an idea of what it feels like to be an empty vessel for the empty breath.

Even though, for example, Madonna in the 80s arose from nobody to somebody, it did not last. It never does. Everybody knows this and yet they try hard to a making a legacy, that foever will establish them as somebody.

But nothing lasts, because it takes more than one to last and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, and therefore without beginning and end. If you try to understand this, you miss it, as it also takes more than one to understand something.

The reason Alexius so often is an empty vessel is that there is no ´I´ with a need to know what and where it is. Most others, on the other hand, work very hard to convince everyone that they are not nobody but somebody.

Trouble always follows in the footsteps of being somebody, whereas it is nothing but bliss that comes in the wake of being nobody.

If they stop doing that, there is nothing to obstruct the empty breath from being activated as an automatic gear change between the inner and outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses become the basis for how you perceive the world of the outer senses, namely as a fantasy experienced and made by nobody from out of nothing.*** Perceived like that, it is like playing a game where you pretend to be somebody but actually are nobody.

To appear as if he is someone substantial in a tangible world, Alexius adjust to its apparent reality, wearing sunglasses and whatnot. That being said, as long as we seem to be in a fantasy world experienced as substantial, we cannot remain as nobody all the time. Alexius, for example, must adjust to the fantasy as if he is somebody definitive who can use the experiences fabricated by his brain to formulate his enlightened the non-teachings in a collectively agreed way of how to communicate in English. To write them, on the other hand, he must be nobody, because their language is that of nothing.

Read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings until you are so empty, that a take-off to the empty breath automatically is ignited – or you are so tired of reading, that you forget to control yourself, wherefore uncontrolled energy spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This is why you automatically are connected with the empty breath when continuously reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

Exclusiveness results in you appearing to be someone definitive, but since that feels restricting, there is always a desire for more. Inclusiveness, on the other hand, results in nothing and thus no hope for more. Hence inclusiveness ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of nothingness. In other words, fragmenting this animation into what you like and do not like will further define you as someone definitive and therefore enhance the feeling of something is missing, whereas the full inclusion of it is your ticket to the bliss of nothingness.

Implementing other hacks to ignite a take-off to the empty breath

The same applies to see symbols of non-duality in a world of duality (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life) and pretending to be someone (hack #14 Pretending to be someone definitive).

When you do not care about your appearance in the world of the outer senses, anything in the experience of it can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. If you, for example, are entirely devoted to the sadness of not having a response from a loved one or the happiness of getting it, or wholly dedicated to the fantasy of someone or something unattainable (read more about that here), a take-off to the empty breath is ignited.

In the case of Alexius, it is often his love for his cats that ignites a take-off to the empty breath. There is no language for expressing his love, so it turns into the bliss of nothingness. This is, of course, only when he is the basic self. Being the special self, his cats are not enough, nothing is. Thus it is the frustration of nothing being good enough that ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of nothing.

Not being greedy for bliss, the connectedness with the empty breath lasts less than a minute. But a minute later he devotes himself so much to something that it becomes nothing, wherefore he is back in the bliss of emptiness. Going there has become automatic, because every time he returns from the bliss of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being Alexius, the slate is wiped clean. And since he, therefore, is the basic self as he was made to be, he is as happy as made to be.

That being said, since everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, he is also as sad as can be. But since happiness and sadness are two sides of the same coin, he does not feel one of those two emotions leave out the other one. Thus he is so happy-sad that nothing disturbs him from going back and forth between being that and the bliss of not-knowing. One day, he will remain in the latter so long that there is nobody to return to a conscious experience of being Alexius. This takes 20 minutes, 45 at most, because the brain cannot survive if it is not in continuous communication with someone definitive, as if there is more than one.

Hence he is not in a world where there seems to be more than one anymore and never was because that which is one is formless and therefore without beginning and end.

In the connectedness with the empty breath, you are indifferent to differences, and thus also to being someone definitive. That is why there is nobody with a need to seek out thoughts that seems to define you as different. Hence there are no thoughts that need to be stopped or controlled via meditation or any other technique of self-control. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Duality Hacks and that which is you
There is no reason to laboriously learn all the hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them is a goal in themselves – nor do they lead to the goal, because you are already there.

That which is you is no different from that which is one, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is you.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings does give you anything, because that which is you is oneness, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is nothing else to have than what you are.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of the duality hacks is not to return to that which is one but to expose the belief that that seems to hide it, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

+ How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ (draft)

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness. That is if there is a willingness to forget what you believe to be. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

If not perceiving the experience of reading this to be special, it cannot define you as unique. Thus there is not something special to obscure the bliss of nothing.

As soon as you have had enough of the confusion coming from the belief in being special and do not try to edit or transform the energy of it into something better, it automatically ignites a take-off to the empty breath. Since that resides in a gap between nothing and something and your current experience of being someone reading something is processed by the brain from what it imagined to receive from out of nothing one second ago (read more about that here), the take-off only takes about one second.

In other words, when connecting with the empty breath, you go back almost one second in linear time to the gap in between nothing and something where it resides.  From this gap, the brains rendering of nothing into a world of something is seen as you used to, but it is not perceived to be something and thus not you to be someone, wherefore you are in the bliss of emptiness.

In linear time, it may take a few more seconds, or years, before this is so because out of reflex you probably try to force the breath through the tensions of the body, caused by the feelings that you have suppressed from your awareness by hiding them there, instead of having the empty breath see to it. Since it considers the tensions as nothing, there is not something to pass.

Every time you believe in fighting something, it is to prevent being nothing.

It may feel as if you are fighting with the empty breath about how to breathe. This fight, however, is solely between what you believe to be and an imagined intruder because the empty breath is not intruding you. That is not possible. It does not see you as someone made of solid elements, but of emptiness like itself.  When you stop fighting, it will, therefore, be like nothing going through nothing.

To get to this point, you must be willing to breathe through the painful areas in the body instead of distracting yourself from feeling them. This does not mean that you cannot use medicine or acupuncture, for example, to ease the fear of pain. That may make it easier to pass through spasms, cramps and whatnot. There may be instances where more professional healthcare is needed. After all, the empty breath is not healing the body but the belief that there is someone there.

Having passed the apparent physical and emotional obstacles, not as somebody but nobody, it may at first feel like the empty breath takes its time before it slowly sets off from the abdomen. Almost like it is an inner breath that pumps air from there through to extract the body (read more about that here). Having done that, it goes on without any concept of inside and outside of a body. Although this is nothing going through nothing, it is in a world where everything is experienced as something also experienced like that, for example as you are surfing the rhythmic flow of the empty breath, going with the sound or swing of or the total abstractness behind its rhythmic flow. This you can read more about in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?

Although it may have been speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, being in its connectedness, which is a state of not-knowing, is not a speedy or chaotic affair but like weightlessly walking on clouds. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although it was the speed that ignited the take-off and it must be maintained to keep you in the sky, it is not the speed that you feel but a laid-back experience of being in the clouds.

Being connected with the empty breath or not we are, by the way, always moving extremely fast because our feet is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, if at the equator and a little less when north and south of it, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. Having a static perception of ourself we do not feel the thrill of this but having a perception that is in sync with the brain (read more about that here) we feel it and can use it to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

This is one of the ways the basic self ignites a take-off to the empty breath. But the ways described in this article and in hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing are mainly geared for the special and not the basic self. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one. That is because most are drawn in by the excitement they imagine to get from being special rather than the pure happiness that comes from being basic, as the latter will not make them somebody in a world where being special, bitchy and having something better is the standard.

So although being special brings about stress and being basic entails relaxation, almost everybody does their best to be established as very special in a mundane or so-called spiritual way. In regards to the basic self, it is therefore not the stress of being somebody but the relaxation of being nobody, that ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

If not focused but defocused, all the elements used to construct what you believe is you blur out. Hence they do not seem to be something, and you, therefore, no different from the nothingness where the empty breath resides. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Let us imagine, you have covered your eyes by your hand, so you can indulge in a daydream without being disturbed of the world outside of you. Though it feels great to be in this fantasy of a better world, it also feels frustrating being cut off from the world as it is.

So when you want to see the world as it is and you sense nothing but your own hand is stopping you from that, you automatically remove it. It is, therefore, the built-up frustration and the realisation it is caused by your own hand, that makes you take it away.

Having had enough of something ignites a take-off to the empty breath and the bliss of nothing
Generally speaking, the process in the above box resembles the way a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. The perception of the experiences you seem to have is believed to establish you as someone substantial in a tangible world and therefore to hide that it is just a fantasy made from out of nothing.

This perception, which is to be compared to the hand in the above box, is made from selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary (read more about that here), that you share with like-minded ones to confirm them as somebody who can attest to you as somebody as well and not just a fantasy composed of thoughts. You may not only sense the bare feet making the footprints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no body in the image, neither does anybody make footprints like those. When you have had enough of the confusion that comes from perceiving this fantasy to be real, you loosen the grip on the selected thoughts making up your perception of it. Hence they are not able to establish the apparent differences in the fantasy to make a difference. Consequently, the illusion does not appear to be something but nothing. Not in a sense, though, that you see nothing, but that what you see is not perceived to be something.

In other words, when you are fed up from perceiving your experiences to be real instead of fantasy, your frustration ignites a take-off to the empty breath. Since it takes you back to the nothingness from where the imagination of you as someone is conceived (read more about that here), you do not know what and where you are. Thus there is nobody to perceive experiences as if they are something. This does not mean they are transparent but that they are not attributed with a specific meaning.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as if it is something definitive because it resides in the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. Hence it is not noticed when you want to experience something specific.

Since this is a state of not-knowing, there is no awareness of the bliss that nothing entails when not disguised as something. But memories of it pop up when you return to the conscious experience of being someone, which you must do latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing, if you want to remain as if you are someone substantial in a tangible world. Be warned, though, when returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone definitive, the slate has been wiped clean, so even though you just had a unique experience, you are not special anymore but the basic self you always were supposed to be. As you are, therefore, not recognised as special, you may judge the world to be unjust.

What you believe to be and see is fabricated by the brain, so when it runs out of oxygen there is no more to be and see. Fortunately this fabrication of you as someone with a beginning and an end is easily bypassed, because it is made from out of nothing. The animation is grabbed from the web.

When a feeling is justified, it seems that it does not come from you but somewhere else. Yet it has only been excluded from your awareness. The feeling remains in the body as suppressed energy. To set it free, so it can ignite a take-off to the empty breath, you do not need to know what it is you have suppressed and why.

You just have to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feeling unveiled as nothing twisted into something special, so that you, who also is nothing, can appear as if you are important.

No worries, if you acknowledge the disappointment as yours instead of projecting it onto the world it can be used to ignite another take-off to the empty breath, so the slate again is wiped clean This applies not only to feeling disappointed but any feeling that is not justified with something, regardless you are aware of what exactly you feel and why. In other words, to entirely be what you feel in this moment ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

Had you not complained about your new status as a basic self when you returned from a state of not-knowing, there would have been no disappointment to ignite a new take-off to the empty breath. No worries. Being a basic self, you are happy and being that, there is no need to perceive experiences as something because happiness does not come from what you experience but from being in sync with the brain. See hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

As the experiences, therefore, are not ascribed with special meaning, they seem so unimportant, that, every now an there, there does not appear to be something to hide the bliss of nothing. In other words, you automatically and very quickly go back and forth a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone. See To be nobody and yet somebody.

When you are totally fed up with being controlled by the thoughts and feelings, you have sought out to form a belief system of how to be special, the system is automatically left. Not in the sense that you give up, let be or surrender. But in the sense that there is nothing to define you as special and thus no need to seek out thoughts and feelings that can confirm that. As you can see, igniting a take-off to the empty breath is not a matter of denying or indulging in sex or anything else but being so fed up of with the perception you have of what is right and wrong according to your belief system, socialism for example, so that you do not want to be caged by it anymore. The connectedness with the empty breath does not come from meditating, chanting or any other technique of self-control, as control enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

If you are confused about how to connect with the empty breath, do not try to clear up the turmoil but be so confused, that there is nothing else than that and therefore not something to define you as confused. Hence you are in the gap between nothing and something where the empty breath resides.

EPILOGUE:
If you have followed the explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings for how to connect with the empty breath and it worked for you, it will stop working if you think that you know how to make it work. The empty breath is not something but nothing, and you cannot know how to make nothing works because it is not there. To make it work, therefore, nor should you be there.

If you feel like an outsider, you do not solve it by blaming others for taking your space, but by completely being that and nothing else, as then there is no insider to contrast it and therefore no outsider since one cannot be without the other. Feeling wrong seems to go away when you complain about somebody else because that makes you appear to be right and others wrong. But escaping what you do not like to feel in yourself by complaining about others is like hiding it in a pot with a tight lid. Sooner or later the pressure from the suppressed feeling will blow off the cover and come out in steam of grievances.

Since the pot in this metaphor is your body, the above is a way of saying, that although complaining about somebody at first seems to make you feel better, the problem has not been solved. It has just been buried inside your body from where it will leak when the body expels the suppressed feeling through physical diseases that now will blame for not feeling well.

Totally being a feeling is as easy as being completely devoted to sex, for example.

You do not get rid of feeling upset by suppressing but completely being it. This is not done by telling friends or a psychiatrist what upsets you. Focusing on that displaces the feeling and so does talking about it, as that makes it speculative.

So instead of sharing it with anybody, feel upset all by yourself until you are nothing but that, and there is no calmness to contrast it and, therefore, not something to define you as angry or anything else. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing.

This does not necessarily mean that the symptoms of being upset are gone. Parts of the body may still hurt. But since there is nobody to perceive those parts as something, they are, just like in a dream, nothing, and since that applies to everything else, nothing bothers anybody. There is, of course, nobody to know this before returning to the consciousness of being someone in a world of something and blissful memories of not being restricted by something starts popping up.

This slowly by slowly rubs off on the experience of a world of something so its appearances are not perceived to be definitive, neither what you appear to be. Hence there is not something to be bothered about. Not because you never get angry, for example, but because you do not hold onto this or any other feeling, inclusive so-called positive ones, since you do not need it to establish yourself or others as somebody specific.

Thus feelings do not pile up in the body which relaxes from the absence of something. It should, however, still be attended to as if it is something, maybe with the help of a qualified healthcare professional, and as if it differs from others, like one does with the pieces in a game of chess, for example, although they are nothing but painted wood.

To sum it up, it is the acknowledgement of a feeling as something specific that you experience as someone definitive, which makes it possible for you to completely be what you feel, so there is not something left to contrast it, and therefore nothing to define you. That is a state of not-knowing. But it is not before you leave it and return the conscious experience of being someone definitive, that you remember, the bliss that comes from being indifferent to this experience.

You can, however, only remain in a state of not-knowing for 20 minutes, 45 at most,* if you again want to have a conscious experience of being someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma if you do not repeatedly have a conscious communication – internal or external – about something that seems to confirm you as someone.

In the indifference of the empty breath, contrasts are slowly but surely cancelled out, including the contrast of life and death. When all contrast is cancelled out, there is not someone definitive to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

So if you do not want the brain to fall into a coma and you, therefore, to disappear in the nothingness from where what you believe to be is fabricated by the brain, you must return to the consciousness of being someone in that world by resuming your grievances of others to reestablish the contrast between you and them and thus you as someone definitive. Instead of returning from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can go with the flow of nothingness into the enlightenment of that which is one, where there is no consciousness, states of bliss or anything else that requires more than one.

Hence there is not something that seems to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless. Read about the enlightenment of that which is one in HACK #5-7, Inner senses, enlightenment, and glimpses of it. This does not only mean that the appearance of you as someone definitive, whether believed to be mundane or spiritual, has been terminated, but that you have never existed because it takes more than one to exist as anyone and there is no more than that which is one.

No reason to worry about accidentally and abruptly be terminated as someone in the enlightenment of that which is one, because in most cases the fear of that (read more about that here) or the urge to separate will set in before that, so you automatically fend off that which is one and still appears to be being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Obviously, nor Alexius or anybody else has passed the point of no return in the enlightenment of that which is one because a world where there seems to be more than one there is still experienced, and it only takes one to undo what is not one since there is no more than that which is one.

You are in a state of not-knowing, when you do not know what and where you and your beloved ones are. Yet it is your devotion to what you and them is believed to be, that exposes the nothingness of this belief.

To see that your hidden grievances are nothing appearing to be something is as simple like recognising the nothingness of this haze. You do not need to analyse or understand it but to go into it with open eyes. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX: WHERE IS A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING?
Although what and where we believe to be is experienced to be somewhere, it is nowhere, because this experience is created by the brain from out of nothing. The brain is as immaterial as the experiences it fabricates, but it uses them to make itself appear as if it is something in somebody, who seems to have these experiences of a tangible world and therefore believes to be a substantial being there.

In the context of this illusion, where nothing seems to be something, a state of not-knowing is a version of nothing that has not been processed by the brain into an experience of something. Read more about that here. In a world that is experienced to be something, a state of not-knowing may in an abstract way appear to originate from the back of the head.

At least this is how it seems at first because many old grievances have been stored in the front of the head, wherefore it probably is experienced to be quite solid.** If the grievances are acknowledged as old friends, however, they will not appear to create pressure in your head but transparent bliss. Yet the whole brain will never be transparent in a state of not-knowing because some parts of it are needed to render you as someone in a world defined by time and space. Read more about that here.

The way to enter a state of not-knowing, however, is not to stop or get rid of grievances, nor by understanding them or forgiving those you resent for having caused them. It is the acknowledgement of what they make you feel, that enable you to be that and nothing else, so there is not something to contrast what you, wherefore nor you or what you feel is definable. Hence you are in the bliss of not knowing what and where you appear to be.

As there is nobody to know how blissful this is, it is not before returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive, vague memories of the bliss it is to be in a state of not-knowing pops up. Read more about how to approach grievances in the below articles:

That which is one can be compared to a movie running so fast, that no frames can be seen. In that context, a world where there seems to be more than one is the same movie slowed down to the extent, that it seems to consists of many different frames.* Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Oneness is contrary to the common belief, not the same as quietness and stillness but wild and noisy. That is if the speed of it could be experienced. That is not possible, however, since it requires more than one to experience something.

You could also say, the reason oneness cannot be experienced is that it is like an analogue movie played so fast that the individual frames of it cannot be seen because the speed merges them into one. Hence it is not quietness but speediness that makes one.

In the context of this metaphor, a world where there seems to be more than one is the movie of oneness slowed down so much, that it seems to consists of frames divided by time and space.

Those insisting in oneness being stillness are those who want take it slow, because that makes them able to remain as if they are in control.

It is therefore not quietness but fastness, that is needed to accelerate the movie of oneness slowed down, so it seems to be a world divided into more than one back to its natural speed, so nothing is to be seen. But most, who believe to be living in a world where there seems to be more than one, is not ready for the full speed of oneness to wipe out the experience of that.

Hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing, therefore, uses the speed of thoughts and feelings which is quite fast when not holding back, so it ignites a take-off to the empty breath, that syncs this stressful energy  from the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, so it becomes abstract and thus relaxing.

As there is no more than that which is one, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is absurd. This includes Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. This synchronisation that gently exposes the experience of living in a world where there seems to be more than one as nothing is only possible if you do not try to slow down the speedy flow of thoughts and shape into a philosophical or religious system. Having done so, the flow does not appear to be immaterial but material and thus to manifest your belief system as real. See also hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

In other words, if the synchronisation is not interrupted, the empty breath syncs the disturbing speed in the world of the outer senses with the world the inner senses, that increases the speed of it until you do not perceive the apparent differences in the brains fabrication of a world where there seems to be more than one to make a difference, and thus have no basis for believing to be someone definitive in its world, which is pure bliss.

This occurs slowly by slowly without you having to sit in strange postures or do something special. There is one thing, though, that you must do for the take-off to the empty breath to work. You got to acknowledge the chaos of thoughts and feelings exactly as it is experienced, and in no way try to analyse or understand it, as doing, so it is displaced by order. This also happens if you observe or justify the chaos of thoughts and feelings.

To no hide the chaos behind a mental or meditative activity, but instead acknowledge it as it is, you do nothing but totally being it.* This is not only the take-off to the empty breath but also the destination because totally being something leaves nothing to contrast it. As that leaves nothing to define you, you are in a state of not-knowing. Read more about this here.

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between specific thoughts is not perceived to make a difference, neither is the supposed difference between what is presumed to be you and others. Thus there is nobody to be separated from somebody or at one with everybody – nor to experience the bliss that this entails.

But you do not know about a state of not-knowing before you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and blissful memories of being indifferent to such experience start popping up. You know, however, that you are in a state of not-knowing when you do not care about what and where you appear to be.

When trying to control, change or stop thoughts and feelings, they are slowed down and therefore do not have the speed needed to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, where they lose their apparent meaning, since the empty breath is indifferent to differences. Please be aware, that the above explanation of that which is one versus a world where there seems to be more than one is as absurd as any other explanation of this or anything else, because it requires more than one to explain something and there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

Hence there is neither truth, love or anything else to be found in a world where there seems to be more than one. This, of course, includes Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Thus they do not reveal oneness, nor do they point to it, since that requires more than one. But they point to the belief that it is possible to be and have that which is one as this belief is what seems to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

You can use anything that seems to speed you up – whether it appears to be positive or negative – as a take-off to the empty breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Success, as well as failure in the world of the outer senses, tends to speed up thoughts and feelings, which is perceived to cause stress and not relief. Some, therefore, try to escape these thoughts and feelings by meditating, for example, even though that often has the opposite effect, namely to cause more thoughts and feelings. Read more about that here.

If you do not try to control or stop the speed of thoughts and feelings so you can uphold a special image of you as someone substantial in the world of the outer senses, there is nothing to support the idea, that reality is definable. Thus the empty breath can sync the apparent tangible world of the outer senses with the abstractness of the inner ones.

As this makes the abstractness of the inner senses the foundation for the perception of you, the apparent differences between you and others in the world of the outer senses are no longer categorised as something that makes a difference. As you, therefore, do not know what and you are, you are in a state of not-knowing, which is like walking through clouds of bliss.

The fastest way to not be bothered by speedy thoughts and feelings is to not try to organise them into something harmonious, but have the raw energy of unsuppressed confusion ignites a take-off to the empty breath, which immediately takes you across an invisible bridge to the high-frequency world of the inner senses, where the speed from the low-frequency world of the outer senses that brought you there does not appear to be stressful but soothing.

Except for the inner and outer sense of sight, it is the same sensory organs, that pick up the world of the inner senses and the world of the outer senses. The difference between the two worlds is that the data received by inner senses remain relatively unprocessed by the brain, so the world evolving from them seems abstract, contrary to the world of the outer senses, which consist of the same data processed and fabricated by the brain into an experience of you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. In plain English, when stress is not suppressed in the world of the outer senses its chaotic energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, that automatically synchronises the outer and inner senses, so the world of the inner senses become the foundation for how the world of the outer senses is perceived.

And since the world of the inner senses vibrates at a high-speed frequency, the experience of speedy thoughts and/or feelings in the low-frequency world of the outer senses does not seem disturbing when perceived from the high-frequency world of the inner senses. On the contrary. It is like walking on air.

The differentiation between inner and outer senses does not refer to them as if they are different organs but two kinds of experiences, one perceived to be of an inner world and the other of an outer world. Actually, the organs are the same for both types of experiences, except for the inner and outer sense of sight. But this is not important.

The brain claims that all experiences are processed from info coming from the sensory system, and you believe it because otherwise, it is evident, the brain makes them from nothing and you therefore not someone in the world of the experiences. Each experience of nothing twisted into the substantial world of the outer senses takes the brain one second to fabricate (read more about that here).

So if you go back one second in linear time, you get the unprocessed experience of being someone who reads this now. But as that experience is made from nothing, there was nothing to experience one second ago. Hence the experience of it, which in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is called the world of the inner senses, is not entirely unprocessed but coloured by coloured by what and where you believe to be in the world of the outer senses.

So even though the world of the inner senses actually is colourless, you probably experience many colours and things based on your memories from the world of the outer senses, which is full of colours and other apparently exciting things the brain has fabricated from the same raw data, it claims to hit the senses (read more about that here). But since they are only hit by empty space, the world of the outer senses is nothing twisted into something and the world of the inner senses nothing dressed up with your memories of something.

The abstractness in the world of the inner senses cannot be experienced without partly being conscious of the image fabricated by the brain of you as someone definitive, because the experience of something requires there is someone to experience it. That is why the empty breath synchs the world of the inner and outer senses in such a way that part of you still believe to be someone definitive. Only the enlightenment of that which is one erases that belief completely. The empty breath and the other duality hacks have a more gradual approach so that you can enjoy the belief in being someone definitive while having it undone. The animation is grabbed from the web.

So although the image fabricated by the brain of you as someone definitive is downplayed, when experiencing the world of the inner senses, it is still in play. Hence the world of the inner senses is coloured by your personality. Not being attached to its concepts in the world of the outer senses, there may be more senses to explore in the world of the inner senses. As long as you still appear to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, the possibilities are countless.

Being so openminded, however, you may bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. Since it takes more than one to experience or be aware of something, that is the end of everything conceivable or rather the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

You do not, however, need to understand the explanations about the inner and outer senses in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings to connect with the empty breath, which is the main subject of this article. On the contrary. The less you understand, the easier it is.

Just like a pencil cannot delete parts of its drawing to make room for something else but need the help of an india rubber, you need the empty breath to erase the most dominating parts of belief in being someone substantial in the world of the outer senses to make room for the abstract world of the inner tesenses. If you try to do it yourself, you enhance the belief in being someone definitive and thus fence of what is not definable.

If you insist in connecting with the empty breath in your own way and pace, you are fencing it off, because only in a world defined by time and space can you have your own way.

In other words, you must be willing to be guided by the empty breath, which realistically speaking means you should acknowledge not being ready for that. Read more about how acknowledging not to be willing to have the belief in being someone undone kickstarts the willingness to have it undone.

Being guided by the empty breath is not the same as you do nothing because doing nothing also enhances the belief in being someone definitive. It is the same, however, as nothing is being done by you.

The empty breath  is fenced off, if you try to organise the speediness of thoughts and feelings into something that appears to be good and not also bad, because  the empty breat has no sense of something in particular.

Please do not try to construct a perception of what you read that makes it fit into the understanding, you have established of what and where you believe to be, but keep going with the speed of thoughts and/or emotions that pop up, so the raw speed of them can ignite a take-off to the empty breath, and you in just one second feel like having a body filled with bliss of emptiness.

As this is a state of not-knowing, you are not aware of the bliss until memories of it pop up after you have returned to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, which must be done latest after 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to avoid that the brain falls into a coma. To wonder if indifference brings about the empty breath or it is brought about by the empty breath is like asking, if it is the chicken or the egg that comes first.

Being centred is not required for connecting with the empty breath
The new age ideas about being still, centred or whatnot are not gonna help you in regards to taking off to the empty breath. Those ideas are based on excluding something to get a specific experience, and there is nothing definitive about the empty breath. In fact, you do not even know when you are connected because it is a state of not-knowing.

Thus you do not know that this state is the absence of stillness as well as noise because the empty breath is indifferent to the apparent contrasts in the world of the outer senses. Hence they are cancelled out. That being said, as both sides in a contrast must be acknowledged to be cancelled out, the most suppressed side of a contrast may seem very annoying for a while.

A take-off to the empty breath will only work to the extent, that you are not occupied with being or having more in a so-called spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic way.

If you want to use speedy thoughts and feelings as a take-off to the empty breath, you better be less engaged in using them for being and/or having more, which is not done by excluding the desire for more but by including it as it is. See hack # 3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss.

When included, it cannot be perceived as a specific yearning for more energy, more power, more money, more love, more freedom, more wisdom, more authenticity or anything else. Hence there is no need to organise thoughts and feelings in a way, that makes them useful for achieving something definitive. They can, therefore, move in their own chaotic and speedy way, which is precisely what ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

Any tension in the body, for example hay fever, or emotion, for example anger, can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. It is just as easy like following the flow of erotic energy until it explodes and you feel released.

That does not mean, however, tensions and emotions magically disappears, when connecting with the empty breath. But due to its indifference nothing seems disturbing.

The more something seems to speed up inside or outside of you without you trying to make sense out of it, the less you experience yourself to be substantial. Hence the empty breath, which is empty space talking, can fill you up.* Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Anything upsetting can be used as a take-off to the empty breath
Any intense experience, for example excessive sex, can be used as a take-off to the empty breath. Feeling depressed works as well, provided there is no attempt to suppress it in order to preserve a special image of yourself or hang onto so it can be used to make others guilty. Read more about the latter here.

Yet the frustration that this entails can also be used as a take-off to the empty breath. And so can pain that just like frustration or any other emotion vanishes in the connectedness with the empty breath. Or to be more correct, it is the consciousness of you as someone definitive that dissolves. Thus there is nobody to be in pain.

A take-off to the empty breath is often experienced to be ignited in the top of the head by a gentle explosion of accumulated thoughts and feelings perceived as upsetting. This paves the way for the empty breath that greets you by expanding the body with empty space, so it does not seem to be substantial and therefore not to differ from the empty breath. That is if you do not try to stop or edit thoughts and feelings because that takes off their edge off and thus the raw power to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

Since the connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, there is nobody to know how blissful it is not to believe to be someone definitive. That is until the return to the consciouss experience of being someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, and the blissful memory of not having such experince pops up.

But as the connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing – sometimes called a perfect moment in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings – there is nobody to know that you are connected with it. Thus the feeling of it, as described in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like? and the other articles about the empty breath is based on the vague memories of it, which pops up when returning to the consciousness of being someone in a world defined by time and space.

Should you feel this article has left you confused about what the empty breath is and how to connect with it, use the disorientation to ignite a take-off to the empty breath and feel a big smile expanding your body into a big fountain of joy or however the flow as it comes to you.

There is no right way to feel the empty breath. At first, it may not be felt it in the exciting ways described n the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?. It may not be felt at all, because its main attribute is indifference (read more about that here). Yet not feeling the stress, that comes from believing to be someone definitive, is a big relief.

Consequently, there is no need to repeat a mantrapollute the air with incense, having positive thoughts, being in the now, special surroundings or with special people to take-off to the empty breath. Neither to stop thoughts, in fact, they are the fuel for the take-off.

There is one thing though that is needed, namely willingness to not be someone definitive. This paves the way for not being a vessel for the self, that the brain processes from out of nothing, but instead to be a vessel for the selfless unprocessed nothingness where the empty breath resides, which you can read much more about in the article Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one can you search for the meaning of life. Yet it is not to be found there or anywhere else, because it takes more than one to find something and life is that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The way that letters are put together in various shapes makes it possible for us to attribute a special meaning to each of them. And when the shapes are organised in rows divided by dots, like in this article, they seem to make up a story written by somebody else and read by us, and thus to confirm we are somebody in a world where there are more than one. But since the story that seems to prove this is pieced together of shapes attributed our own meaning, the story is made by ourselves and does, therefore, not prove there are more than that which is one.

Reality is that which is one, and since it takes more than one to experience something, it cannot be experienced.

But let us imagine, that the letters making up the shapes we believe are confirming us to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one are the same letters making up that which is one. Unlike in the world, where we believe to be and where everything is experienced to be separated by time and space, there is no space to keep anything apart in that which is, since that requires more than one.

Although the story of you as someone definitive is made up by yourself, it is not a happy but a sad stor, because you feel sad being separated.

Hence the letters, that oneness consists of cannot be distinguished from each other, and therefore not organised into shapes, that added together in specific ways seem to establish a story of us as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. Oneness, therefore, is formless.

A world defined by time and space is a slowed down version of the formlessness of oneness
It is not only because there is no space to separate the letters making up that which is one, that they cannot be differentiated from each other, but also because they are not still. They move so fast that time stands still, so it is not possible to organise them in a linear way – or any other way for that matter.

In the context of our story about a world where there seems to be more than one versus that which is one, you could say, that a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy of what oneness looks like when slowed down. The more it is imagined to be slowed down, the more space there seems to be between the otherwise shapeless letters, wherefore they appear to be separated from each other and each has a definitive shape of their own.

Furthermore, there seems to be time to arrange the separated shapes in different combinations attributed with each their own meaning, so not only space but also time establishes separation as real and thus that which is one as unreal.

The slowing down of oneness is, therefore, an attempt to turn its formlessness into a construction of thoughts representing specific shapes that they seem to be something you can manipulate to your liking in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thus the way back to oneness does not come from slowing down thoughts via meditation or something else that makes you appear to be in control of the thoughts making up your particular shape so you seem to be at  rest and untouched by the speed of the Earth that is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour.

Neither does the way back come from understanding this or anything else, as to understand something enhances the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

No matter if something is experienced to be inside or outside, it is make-believe, because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of oneness and formlessness has no sides.

To undo the belief in duality you must give up attributing meaning to anything, that seems to have a beginning and end so that the apparent differences of duality does not appear to make a difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

A journey without distance takes no time
It is not a fact but make-believe that what and where you appear to be is real. It all falls apart if not attributing meaning to the letters in this article or anything else that seems to be part of your story, because when shapes have no meaning, there is nothing to separate them and therefore no time and space.

Since there is no more than oneness, nobody has ever left it. Thus the way back takes no time.

The fastest way to not attribute meaning to something appearing to be there, is, of course, to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one). It promptly and relentlessly erases every definable detail of whatever you remember to have experienced so there are no memories from where an image of you as someone definitive can be recalled and thus nobody to experience a world where there seems to be more than one.

If you, however, want to have your cake and eat it too, you can connect with the empty breath (read more about that here), because it undoes the belief in being someone in a less abrupt way. Thus you are able to enjoy the excitement of it while in the process of having it undone.

The reason for this is that the empty breath does not erase the memories of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet due to its flow of indifference, the apparent difference between what is believed to be you and others is not perceived to make a difference.

Thus a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be confirmed to be real. But it is quite fun to pretend that it is (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive). Just like in the context of the apparent reality of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is fun pretending to be someone in the virtual world of a video game.

The source of life cannot create anything, as it is that which is one and it takes more than one to create something. For the same reason, it cannot be found. Fortunately, that is not necessary, because the oneness of life is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than that. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nothing needs to be done when not perceived as something
The change of size and weight from hefty to almost nothing –for example vinyl to CD to MP3 to streaming and computer to smartphones to wearables – and the speed of info in cyberspace is a reminder, that the reality is sizeless since it is that which is one, and it requires more than one to take up space. As it, therefore, cannot be found in a world defined by time and space, nothing in such a world can bring you back to it, except the undoing of the belief that you are there.

That is the purpose of the empty breath as well as the other duality hacks. It is not achieved, though, by revealing the formlessness of oneness, because it takes more than one to reveal something. Besides, it does not need to be revealed, as it is formless and therefore endless, so there is nothing else.

What needs to be revealed is what appears to hide this. It is your perception of a dream that makes it appear real and likewise it is your perception of what and where you appear to be when you believe to be awake that establishes it as real. If you, for example, perceives a specific noise to be irritating, you will probably start to imagine how to get rid of it and how much better everything will be when the noise is gone. Thus the belief in being someone definitive is enhanced.

This is what the empty breath corrects without you having to change your perception or anything else because the noise, as well as your perception of it, is perceived as nothing by the empty breath and when connected with it this perception rubs off on you. The belief in being someone is, therefore, not enhanced but undone at once. In a world of linear time, this may seem to take a long time before there is nobody to realise this.

No worries. Time is also perceived as nothing by the empty breath, so while nothing happens you can have fun perceiving it to be something. In other words, with the empty breath by your side, you do not need to stop or change anything, nor to force the body into uncomfortable positions, to have the belief in being someone undone and at the same time having fun being in love, irritated or whatnot.

APPENDIX:
Some claim the amount of info coming from digital media is stressing. But that only seems so, because they want to uphold a special image of themselves, and therefore need to sort it in categories of good and bad, so it ends up in a story that points to you and like-minded ones as the good ones and others the bad ones. But as this story is based on countless judgments and speculative concepts regarding right and wrong, thoughts keep flying around, which is what feels stressing and not the amount of info.

This speculative and restless state though is not a problem, that needs to be fixed. In fact, the faster the speed of thoughts and feelings seem to be, the faster the stress disappears. That is if you do not try to slow down the speed but use it to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Read more about that here.

There is nowhere to go in a state of not-knowing since there is no sense of time and space. This you do not know before you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive. A STATE OF NOT KNOWING:
In a state of not-knowing, the world of the external senses is not discarded, but since the experience of it is founded on the world of the inner senses, which is very abstract, the apparent differences in the world of the external senses are not perceived to make a difference. Nor is the apparent difference between inside and outside, or noise and silence. In other words, there is no sense in looking for it in silence. In fact, there is no sense in looking for it at all, because it is not something but nothing so it cannot be known.

Thus it is not located anywhere in particular. But metaphorically speaking you could say it is in a gap of nothing where there seems to something that the brain twists it into the experiences of you being someone definitive in a physical or spiritual world. As it has used one second to render your present experience of reading this (read more about that here), it only takes one second to go back in time to the origin of it, which is nothing.

From this perceived gap in nothing, the world that you used to experience and confirm to be something is still experienced to be there, but since there is nobody to validate the experiences as a manifestation of something, their apparent different elements are not perceived to make a difference. Thus everything, including what you believed to be and the problems you seemed to have, is perceived as nothing. That is why you are in the bliss of nothing and not in the sadness of something.

No reason to blame yourself for leaving a state of not-knowing. It is not possible to remain there, because the brain falls into a coma if not engaged in a continous conversation about something.  Besides, since the slate has been wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, you return to the conscious experience of something as the basic self who is in sync with the script of the brain and thus a happy servant of it.

This state of not-knowing something may last from a split second to 20 minutes, 45 at most, whereafter you either bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one) or return to the consciousness of being someone. In the case of the latter, you return as the basic self, which serves the brain and thus everybody, because the brain has no personal preferences. To reward you for the unconditional support the brain injects you with shots of happiness. This after effect of a state of not-knowing can last from a few seconds to several years. See more about the after-effect at the end of this article.

Being a servant, however, feels humiliating to the special self. It wants to be in control, so it tries to exclude anything unknown by quickly making a perception where everything that does not fit into its concept of living in the now, for example, is excluded.

But since exclusion is founded on separation and that is the root of all problems, excluding something does not make you present but distant. That is, of course, until the special self chooses not to make a perception where everything that does not fit into its belief system is excluded. See hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss).

To be inclusive, which you automatically are when not exclusive, is a great hack to apply if you experience brain fog because if not trying to be sharp by excluding fuzzy thoughts but include them, both sides of this contrast meet. And as any contrast cancels out itself when the opposing sides meet, you can neither be defined as fuzzy or sharp. Thus you, as nobody, enter a state of not-knowing. At other times the empty breath* may be a better choice of a hack – especially if you feel speedy and restless (see hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing). But feeling tired and fatigued, pretending to be that may be the best choice of a hack, because what you pretend to be you are not (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation).

If you tend to justify everything unpleasant with somebody or something, perceiving everything as symbols of oneness may be the hack to go for. Alone together could also be a good hack in this case. Read more about those in hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life, and hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one.

Please be aware, that the purpose of the duality hacks is not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it, so if the body is sick, so consider consulting a healthcare professional if the body is out of order.

That being said, the more this sick belief is healed, the more the body is set free from your control of it. Thus the biological system of the body is not blocked from repairing it. Sometimes nootropics, massage or acupuncture, for example, may help to kickstart this. Having glimpses of enlightenment, you stick to one aspect at a time. So if you are feeling it, you do not try to see it as well. But if the visions of it start to take over, you go with that. If you do not try to hang onto anything, in particular, you will not see patterns and colours in the visual glimpses of enlightenment, for example, but one bright which sucks out everything you believe to be so that nothing gracefully falls through a black hole into that which is one. Glimpses of enlightenment in a state of not-knowing
In a state of not-knowing, you may have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one. Like a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses are not the enlightenment of that which is one. Contrary to the enlightenment of that which is one, the glimpses of it are experienced. The intensity of them is proportional to how much you give priority to the inner senses, which see, hear, feel or taste them similar to how a world where there seems to be more than one is experienced with the external senses.

In the case of Alexius, he often has so many visual glimpses of enlightenment, when close his eyes to go to sleep, that sometimes he thinks, he must have forgotten to turn off the electric light. He wakes up to the sounds of ethereal harmonies, which are the audiovisual aspects of it. Read more about that here. This is not to be understood like the glimpses of enlightenment blends in with the physical world. The glimpses are experienced with the inner senses and the physical world with the external ones. Read more about that here.

In other words, the light does not lighten up his room. On the contrary. It makes it impossible to see it. And the ethereal harmonies do not mix with the sounds of the birds from the trees outside his bedroom but drown them out even though it is gentle harmonies of bell-like sounds. Hence you better block out the glimpses enlightenment, when driving a car or something else that calls for the external senses. This applies generally to be in a state of not-knowing as that resets your short time memory.

But feeling and tasting the enlightenment of that which is one does not happen regularly for him. Read here how to have glimpses of enlightenment. During the day, however, there are always moments of indifference to the belief in being someone. Read more about that here. In your case, experiencing the glimpses of enlightenment may have another course. Maybe you do not experience them, but since indifference is the quality of a state of not-knowing, it really does not matter. Anyway, the bliss of not knowing what and where you are is the same.

As we are used to perceiving experiences as if they come from a world outside of us, we probably perceive glimpses of enlightenment to come from inside. But this is not so. They come from the gap between nothing and something, where the brain has still not rendered a world experienced to be outside of us. Consequently, there is no inside. Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, however, relates to our experiences and therefore talk about internal and external or inner and outer senses, and that glimpses of enlightenment come from the inner ones whereas the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one comes from the external senses.

When you in the world of the external senses enjoy the taste of ice cream, for example, you may hear music as well. Yet that remains as something in the background. Likewise, you devote yourself to one aspect of the glimpses of enlightenment one at a time. Eventually so much that you forget to notice any details in that particular aspect and thus bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (read more about that here).

The after effect of a state of not-knowing is to know, the brain is automatically doing the thinking necessary for having a conscious experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. You do not need to think. In fact, it is not possible. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The after effect of a state of not-knowing
When you return from a state of not-knowing* to the conscious of being someone definitive, you are a bit like a chicken whose head has been cut off. Its reflexes make it keep going around. Just like the brain makes you go on like before after returning from a state of not-knowing* but now without having to figure out when and where to go.

In other words, as long as the after effect of a state of not-knowing* last, which could be from a few seconds to several years, you rely on the brain to produce the experiences of being someone substantial in a tangible world in the same manner as you depend on it to make the experience of you being someone who is unsubstantial in an intangible world when you are dreaming. Doing so, it feels like you are a sleepwalker with no need to think in your awaken life.

Hence the interest in the relationships you used to perceive as special most likely fades out (read more about that here).

EPILOGUE:
Sadness comes from the perception of you as a master and bliss from the perception of you as nothing. Happiness is the after effect of the latter. Oneness, however, has no effect, nor is it caused by something, as that requires more than one. And since being sad, happy or blissful calls for more and oneness is formless and therefore endless, any kind of being is an illusion.

Everything considered to be a fact is made up by the brain. It is, for example, not a fact that you are reading this. It is something the brain tells you to hide that this and any other experience you believe in having is an illusion that is made by the brain from out of nothing – including the experience of being someone. Just like you are not someone in a dream, and nobody else is there, no matter how it is experienced. Since the only purpose of the experiences the brain produces is to entertain, it fabricates them all in one higgledy-piggledy by the very same organ, regardless the experiences are perceived to be by you or others, real or imaginary, physical or spiritual, dream or movie. What and where you believe to be is based on experiences made by the brain, which it claims to have processed from what you saw, heard, felt and tasted one second ago, as this is the time it needs to construct a consistent experience which seems to reflect that. Read more about that here.

Thoughts do not come from somewhere but nowhere, and they do not seem to manifest something unless they are confirmed to do so by someone who believes to experience the thoughs as something and therefore to be someone itself.

But you did not see, hear, feel or taste something one second ago. Eyes cannot see, nor can ears hear. The body cannot feel or taste something, and no experience comes from the heart. Read more about the sensory system in Eyes do not see, they translate, and the illusion of coming from the heart in Coming from the heart is a denial of that which is one.

Your present experience, therefore, is not founded on what you see, hear, feel and taste, nor from the info coming from those senses, although the brain wants you to accept the latter as a fact. This you gladly do because otherwise, it is evident that your experiences do not consist of tangible elements but intangible thoughts. And that the substantiality of what and where you believe to be is a fantasy made by the brain from out of nothing.

Whether the experiences in this fantasy are perceived to be yours or others, to be real or imagined, physical or spiritual, they are constructed from thoughts compiled by the brain in one higgledy-piggledy by the very same organ to which knowledge or fact is just another fabrication.

You may have noticed, for example, that after watching several movies in a row, their different virtual realities seems to be mixed into one continuous story. You may also have tried being sexually aroused or even getting an orgasm in a dream by experiencing to be together with somebody in it although there is nobody there, neither you.

Since every experience that someone is aware of have taken the brain one second to fabricate, the nothingness of you and what is believed to be experienced right now is just one second away (read more about that here). Hence going back one second from the current experience to where the brain started to process it, you are in a state of not-knowing.*

Being happy, we have no need to perceive the apparent differences in our experiences to make a difference. Thus we are ready to have the duality hacks bring us back to the nothingness from where the brain has processed our experiences of being somebody substantial in a tangible world. As there is no awareness of being someone in this state, there is nobody to be happy about something in particular, like when having conscious experiences of being someone who is and have something specific. Nor is there somebody to know that the emptiness of not believing to be and have something is pure bliss. There is no awareness of this before returning to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and the vague memories of how blissful it is to be indifferent to that.

It is not possible to replicate this bliss of emptiness because it is not caused by a lack of something but that the difference between apparently different experiences is not perceived to make a difference. In other words, in a state of not-knowing,* the physical world looks like before, but the apparent differences of its appearances are not perceived to make a difference. That is why it is so blissful and that you have to leave it again.

Before elaborating on that, it should be said that in the case of having glimpses of enlightenment in a state of not-knowing,* which is not uncommon, the awareness of the physical world fades out proportionally with the intensity of the glimpses. This you can read more about the glimpses of enlightenment in the next article. It is an appendix to this one, where we go on exploring, why you relatively soon have to leave a state of not-knowing.*

To keep the brain going, and therefore also what you believe to be, you must repeatedly talk with someone judged to be separated from you. If not doing that for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,** the brain falls into a coma, wherefore it cannot produce the image of you as someone definitive anymore. It makes no difference to the brain if the conversation seems to be internal or external because both ways confirm its world of separation to be real. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If the brain for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,** is not kept busy by someone who believes to have a conversation inside of it with somebody judged to be different from itself, the brain falls into a coma. In other words, if separation is not continually acknowledged to be real, the brain falls apart, and we do not come back to the consciousness of being someone substantial in a tangible world, nor do we continue in its bliss of emptiness because we are not substantial anymore and never was.**

We are not something at all. Thus we do not appear to hide there never was and will be more than oneness as it is formlessness and therefore endless. Most likely, however, you will leave a state of not-knowing* long time before that.

And since you return to the consciousness of being someone definitive as you originally were meant to be in the fable of the brain, namely as the basic self, you are in sync with the thoughts the brain constructs. And as you, therefore, support of it, the brain in return supports you with happiness. In the next article, which is an appendix to this one, you can read more about the after-effect of a state of not-knowing,* which may last from a few seconds to many years.

Being a happy self, you are so satisfied that you do not need anything in particular. Hence, sooner or later, you gladly apply one or more of the duality hacks and, again and again, enter a state of not-knowing* for brief moments of bliss, until the bliss become so intense that you cannot ask for more and the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, therefore, is undone.

. Nor will you experience it when that belief is undone, because then you are no more. Besides, it takes more than one to experience something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
But let us not get ahead of ourselves. You probably go back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing* many times before you remain in the latter and bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.***

The duality hacks gladly admit that they nothing, so applying the empty breath,* for example, there is nothing to perceive the present moment as something. Thus you do not get the frustration of something but the bliss of nothing. Read here how to connect with ´the empty breath´ and here about the bliss not believing to be someone.

If you try to return to a state of not-knowing* by replicating the last one, you will not enter it because what you intend to replicate is memories and contrary to a state of not-knowing* they are perceived to be something. If you use second-hand knowledge of special states to get the bliss, you become the special self, and since it is very serious about realising itself and a state of not-knowing* is selfless, you will not enter it.

That is until there is a willingness to accept guidance from something selfless, for example the empty breath.* It resides in an apparent gap between nothing and something that the brain has not yet processed into an experience of something particular, so it remains selfless.

Any other duality hacks, except the enlightenment of that which is one, will also bring you back to this gap between nothing and something from where the brain imagines something that the duality hacks expose as nothing, so you are no longer in the frustration of perceiving differences to make a difference and thus in the bliss of not-knowing.

Entering a state of not-knowing* only takes about a second and happens automatically when you have lost all hope of fixing your problems because that makes the uncontrolled energy of them ignite a take-off to the empty breath* (see hack #4.3 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

The duality hacks apply themselves when you keep reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings without trying to alter them, so they fit into the experiences, the brain claims to have processed from the info coming from the outer senses, but instead are willing to sense them from the inner senses where the world of the outer senses is still not perceived to consist of elements separated from each other, and you, therefore, do not have something to hope for.

It is as easy as told, but since we all are in the habit of looking for a solution in the experiences produced by the brain to keep up the image of us as somebody, although that is nothing but a meaningless construction of thoughts, we may seem to be lost in these experiences and thus feel hopeless. Great, if this is so! That means you do not see any possibility for a solution to your frustration about something, and, therefore, are willing to have the empty breath* – or another duality hack – bring you back to the bliss of nothing.

In this state of not-knowing,* your eyes may be closed or open, and you may be sitting on a bus, resting in a park or walking in a noisy city. Perhaps you talk, and maybe you say nothing. Everything is as it used to be, and thoughts go on as usual since what and where you appear to be is a construction of thoughts.

But as there is nobody to perceive the apparent different thoughts to make a difference, they do not appear to manifest something specific. Hence you one second behind the construction of you as someone definitive in a world of separation that the brain has made from a perceived in a gap of something in nothing. Thus you are not in the sadness of something but in the bliss of nothing. Here you can read about how a perceived gap in the big bang seemed to unfold into this universe here.

In other words, in a state of not-knowing* the world is perceived from this gap between nothing and something, where there hardly is any consciousness of being someone. But, as already said, you cannot remain there for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,** because when the experiences produced by the brain are not repeatedly acknowledged by someone as something, it falls into a coma.

Hence you must either return to the consciousness of being someone definitive or have the experience of that as well as being in the bliss of nothing terminated.*** As this also is the end of the one who is aware of something or nothing, there is no consciousness being appearing to hide that which cannot be realised, namely that which is one, since it takes more than one to be aware of something.

No matter what way you go and why you reckon to do it, you are going that way because the brain has planned you to do so. Having a perception that is in sync with this plan, obstacles on the way adds to the entertainment of the trip. Just like they are supposed to do. SUMMARY:
Since it is the sum of your memories that constitute what and where you believe to be, and that is stored in the brain, what and where you experience to be, regardless experienced as physical or spiritual, is in the brain. As it has an end, so does what and where you believe to be. And as oneness is formless and therefore endless, everything that ends does not exist.

Still, it is quite fun to believe it is possible to be someone with a beginning and end when having a perception in sync with the brains rendering of a world defined by time and space. Having fun and thus no problems to fix, nothing distracts us from having the duality hacks undo the belief that we are somebody and thus nobody in the bliss of nothing in which we eventually cannot ask for more and the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, therefore, is undone.

You will probably leave the bliss of nothing* before that and return to the consciousness of being someone definitive in a world defined by time and space until you are either so happy being the basic self or unhappy being the special self that you cannot help going back to the bliss of nothing* again.

This going back and forth between a state of not-knowing* and the conscious experience of being someone definitive probably goes on for a long time before you remain in a state of not-knowing* and, therefore, do not know you once believed to be someone definitive because the experiences the brain created of that has been terminated by the enlightenment of that which is one,*** so there is not something appearing to hide that which always was and will be since it is one perpetual present, namely the formlessness of oneness.

The special self, which is an altered version of the basic self, is always looking for mistakes in what it perceives to have become so that it can correct them and therefore appear to be in charge of its own life. The basic self, on the other hand, does not consider itself as independent but a servant of the whole, because it is adjusted to flow of thoughts as it comes from the brain and it does not care for right and wrong but what is in the best of the whole.

If the special self has a personality of a faultfinder every mistake it finds makes it angry whereas the basic self gets happy because that fulfils its function.

Perceiving the flow of thoughts for what it is, does not mean that you stop being a faultfinder if that is an integrated part of the personality, the brain has fabricated for you. Instead, it means that finding faults makes you happy because doing so you fulfil your nature.

Since the special self has removed itself from its nature in an attempt not to be controlled by it but what it perceives to be, finding faults does not make it happy but guilty for not having prevented them. Yet it appreciates this because it despises what it perceives to be silly happiness of the basic self. Also, feeling guilty seems to confirm that it is special and capable of making a difference.

It is not aware though, that if it does not try to be special and make a difference, appearing to be someone is so effortless that silly happiness feels good enough.

The special self keeps on looking for something that it can judge to be wrong and thus use to justify distancing itself from the moment as it is. The basic self may also have grievances, but it is not to distance itself from the present but to emphasise it. In the happiness that comes from not editing the moment, it is not possible to hold onto grievances.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Avoiding what you fear, that which is one seems to also be shunned off because it takes more than one to avoid something.

Should you, on the other hand, be in the habit of going with the flow, fear will not seem to separate you from oneness but undo the belief in separation, because totally being in the flow of fear, you are not anything but that and thus nothing at all, since there is not something else to define you. Hence there does not appear to be something hiding, there is no more than that which is one.

Happiness is a mechanical product of the brain, which needs to be counteracted with sadness for you to know whether you are happy or not. This is the way of duality, and ultimately speaking, there is no solution to this ongoing change of contrasts than having the belief in duality undone. That does not result in something because in non-duality, there is no more than that which is one, and it takes more than one to be or have something.

As it also takes more than one to experience being someone, what you experience to be is no more. Should you want to prolong the experience of being someone but not being burdened by the nature of duality, you relate to the natural flow of thoughts as it comes from the brain without trying to alter it through a special perception of yours, because then sadness is just as entertaining as happiness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you watch a movie, not only your experience of it but also what you experience the participants to experience is made up by the brain. This is the same no matter what and where and with whom you experience to be. Every experience, whether you or others seem to have it, is made by the brain from out of nothing as if it is something so that you appear to be someone definitive in the experience of a physical, spiritual or dream world amongst like-minded ones.

Most are aware that the experience of being someone in a dream is an illusion, as they are not there but in their beds. The same, however, applies to the experience of being someone in a physical or spiritual world. That which is you is not there, because it is no different from that which is one and it takes more than one to be somewhere.

The experiences the brain produces for you can, in many ways, be compared to the news that Facebook generates for you. Based on the info Facebook has gathered about you, it gives you what its artificial intelligence predicts you wish to see, regardless it is fake or not. Unlike Facebook, however, the brain has all your info but just like Facebook, what you get is based on what you have so what you see is what you are. This cannot be altered – only your perception of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Whether living naked in the forest is an experience you are daydreaming off or actually is having is the same to the brain because it does not differentiate between what you believe is real or imaginative. It is the same nothingness that it fools you into experiencing as something. This also applies to the acknowledgement of this. There is nobody to be fooled and nothing to be acknowledged, as that requires more than one and there is no more than which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. The brain processes all experiences in one higgledy-piggledy by the very same organ, because it does not differentiate between the experiences you believe in having when awake, at sleep, watching a movie or meditating. Nor does it separate what you perceive to be yours and others experience, or divide them into real or imaginary. Just like the way you perceive the difference between the letters in this article makes no difference to the browser that is generating them. It has absolutely no knowledge about what you perceive as fact or fabrication, negative or positive, real or imaginary, the writer or the reader.

The practical implication of this is that you do not have to avoid fantasies of for example sexual lust, power strivings, selfishness, greed, envy, anger, rage or something else you perceive to be wrong or unattainable, because for the brain it is the same whether you  indulge a fantasy or actually act it out, as both experiences are processed by the same organ. This the basic self instinctively knows, so without holding back, it devotes itself to the fantasies popping up, and thus makes the brain happy by joining in one of its many fantasies. The above also means that even though you do to the rules of society, or yourself, must hold back certain feelings of aggression and love, for example, you do not have to repress those feelings but live them out in fantasies. This also applies to whatever feelings you in the past may have hidden from your awareness in your body.

It is never too late to release the tension repressed feelings cause in the body by living them out in fantasy. Or if having repressed them so much that you do not know what has caused the tension, you can live them out in fantasies of pain and imprisonment, for example. Just go with the flow of the fantasy. The course of it does not matter, nor if it results in you or somebody being hurt in it. In fact, that may make you cry so much that the tension is released.

This does not make you feel more spiritual. On the contrary. Believing to be spiritual is a mistake because it takes more than one to be something and spirituality is that which is one. So having no bodily tensions makes you feel more as a separate physical being and as you, therefore, are in sync with your appearance as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you feel happy. So happy, indeed, that you sooner or later does not care to uphold the belief that you are someone in such a world.

he special self, on the other hand, suppresses most fantasies as it seems politically incorrect to have them. But most of all because it is afraid of losing its control.

The special self, on the other hand, wants to perceive itself as spiritual because that seems to make it more special and to be living forever. Thus it suppresses everything that brings about a sense of being a limited physical being or shame of having politically incorrect fantasies, including those that otherwise could have set it free to enjoy being physical. The main reason, however, for not indulging it is fantasies is probably that it is afraid of losing control.

So whereas the basic self feels released by devoting itself to the fantasies popping up, the special self feels imprisoned from holding back – especially since it has done so many times by holding back the breath, that the tight up muscles this entails are making it impossible to have a full breath.

Fortunately, the duality hacks see everything as themselves and as they are nothing so is your tensions. Thus your problems will not hold back the duality hacks from undoing the belief that you are someone definitive if they are applied, which automatically happens the more you read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

You believe the experiences you seem to have proved there is more than one. But this only seems so because you are holding back. If not doing that but including everything as it is there is no sense of time and space and thus no separation to prove the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the basic self is not exclusive but inclusive, and since everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, black and white, for example, the inclusion of happiness contains sadness and vice versa. Feeling unhappy, therefore, is not a clear-cut state of sorrow. If you, for instance, feel depressed because your cat is dead, you are also in touch with the happiness you experienced when it was alive. In fact, happiness is the reason you feel sad.

This does not apply to the special self. It is not inclusive but exclusive, and therefore not able to feel sadness and happiness simultaneously. Nor is it able to feel any of those emotions on its own, because it suppresses sadness to feel happy, and happiness cannot be felt without it. The special self does not know, it has distanced itself from its feelings, because it has replaced them with speculative explanations of what and where it is.

Should the intensity of a feeling manage to surpass its speculations, the special self is devastated. Yet that is nothing compared to the annihilation it faces by experiencing happiness and sadness simultaneously, because when two opposing feelings meet they cancel out each other (read more about that here). Thus there is not something to define it as special, and that feels like the death to it.

The basic self does not have this problem because it does not exclude life from death. So if it fears death, it meets life as well, and since opposing elements cancel out each other when not kept apart, there is nothing left but emptiness, which is pure bliss. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius nature is not to exclude but include, so since a special self is made by excluding what is judged to be wrong in the basic self, he is not able to perceive himself as special. Yet he can simulate that by imitating the behaviour of looking for something better – just like he can simulate to be someone in the world of Monopoly, who wants to grab everything for himself.

At times he is so successful in this, that he starts to believe he is special, and thus feels as confused as others believing this.

But since he does not exclude the confusion and its chaotic energy, it is free to ignite a take off to the empty breath so he again is indifferent to what and where he seems to be and as nobody can pretend to be somebody. The brain renders a world where there seems to be more than one from out of nothing, so there seems to be somebody to confirm the existence of its creation, that in return attest to the existence of the self that the brain also has created. That is all. There is nothing to learn when in sync with the brain. If not, learning never seems to end.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You are not reading this, and it has been not written. It is not possible, because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Yet it seems possible to believe, there is more than that which is one. And since you appear to be reading and Alexius to be writing this, you and he are one in that belief. Thus to believe there is more than that which is one is a positive confirmation of oneness.

So even though the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one appears to hide that which is one, it does not deny it, because this belief would not be possible without that which is one since there is no more than that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most are looking for something outside of themselves, love, massage or whatnot, to make them feel good,. But what they experience to be outside is made inside of them, namely in the brain, which does not differentiate between inside or outside, as there is nothing outside of it and thus nothing to define something inside of it.

Thus all the experiences that it produces does not seem tangible unless there is someone who believes in feeling them, and as what you appear to be also is made from out of nothing, you gladly confirm that the experiences produced by the brain are tangible because that seems to establish you as substantial.

That this is fantasy can only be exposed, if you are willing to have the belief in being someone undone. If not having this willingness, keep reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. They do not have something that will save you, because it takes more than one to have something and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. As they, therefore, do not result in something but nothing, they automatically hack the belief in being something.

Hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one does that once and for all. The hack you are reading, hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one, is not about undoing the belief in being something but in being special, so you do not have to be afraid someone sees how fragile your special image is.

Not being afraid of that you are free to apply more of the duality hacks, so the experiences produced by the brain of being someone substantial in a tangible world are not confirmed as real and you, therefore, enter the bliss of not-knowing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As most unconsciously sense that what and where they experience to be is a manifestation of thoughts, they assume they can manifest thoughts themselves as well. But nobody has made a single thought of their own. They are all produced by the brain. It is in charge of what and where we experience to be.

The brain, however, is not in charge of that which we are, because it is not anywhere since it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be somewhere. Yet, as it is formless and therefore endless, it is everywhere.

Consequently, both the experience of being someone substantial in a tangible world and the explanation that the brain is fabricating it is a deception, and so is that somebody is being deceived by somebody. Just like nobody is deceiving anybody in a dream because there is not somebody in it and nobody is making it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not want to know, it is nobody but what you believe to be who deceives you into experiencing it is real because knowing that would expose what you believe to be as nothing and thus being deceived by nobody.

SH POOL + A hippie and a businessman has the same desire for being special [draft]

There are many ways to be special. You can be a hippie, for example, and dress in ways that separate you from others so you can perceive them to be wrong you to be right. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nor the basic or special self makes any thoughts themselves. They are all produced by the brain in accordance with the adventure it wants to make of a self inside a substantial body with a tangible world outside of it. The thoughts making up the script for this adventure and the world that appears to be in it cannot be altered. Although you, like in the world of a video game, can choose to go left or right, for example, the effect of your choice is already scripted by the brain.

There only seems to be a self because that is what the brain wants the consciousness which it has created to conclude from the experiences the brain makes of something that seems to have an effect on a body that responds to it as if it is experienced by a someone inside it. And there only appears to be a body, when there seems to be someone inside it having these experiences of something outside of it.

But just like a dream is make-believe, so is being someone in a body. And just like nobody, in particular, is making a dream, nor does someone in specific make the experience of appearing to be there.

In short, no matter the choice, what you believe to be is going nowhere because it is just a construction of thoughts that twist nothing into something by responding to experiences of nothing as if they are something. It is like when you experience to have an orgasm in a dream and conclude the dream is something and not nothing.

The nothingness of a dream, however, can be a fun experience, if perceived for what it is. Since thoughts are needed for this, you should not try to stop or rearrange them into a more special perception, as if it is hidden signs of this and that. There is nothing hidden in the world of the brain unless you choose to perceive this and thus seem to be on a unique search for finding something that makes you more special.

All worlds are a fabrication of the brain and whether they seem to be astral, physical or whatnot the purpose is entertainment. And when you are in sync with that by perceiving it as it is, appearing to be someone there is like binge-watching a TV show, which is so entertaining that it blows your brain out and you feel nothing but satisfaction.

If there is no wish to be in this fantasy the brain makes of somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, a perception should not be made of it, as then it is not confirmed as real, wherefore nobody is in it.

To not make a perception of the experiences the brain produces of someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is easier said than done. You have to go back in time to do it. The brain has used one second to produce the experience of being someone who is reading this now, so if you go back one second it has not been processed yet. Thus there is not someone having a conscious experience of reading this now. Going back you enter a state of not-knowing, which all the duality hacks, except the enlightenment of that which is one, facilitate when you keep reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

But since the subject of hack #4.3 The basic self versus the special one is how to feel good in the fantasy the brain makes of a world where there seems to be more than one, we return to the experiences produced by the brain and the happiness it entails to have a perception that is in sync with them.

Besides from the fixed thought construction of a fantasy world where everything seems to be separated by time and space, the brain has also made a pool of thoughts from where the consciousness built into the self can pick up the thoughts they like to use for their perception of the fantasy world made by the brain and thus feel as the fantasy is made of solid elements.

If this perception is in alignment with the thought construction making up the fantasy, you are the basic self and thus happily following the instructions of the brain, which may come through physical impulses, feelings or straightforward mental messages. The latter is the case for Alexius, as he is not very physical minded.

The basic self is not on a quest to be and have more. It does not even have a perception of itself as someone who differs from the appearances in its experiences of cockroaches and whatnot. Thus it has no need to be perceived as someone who makes a difference – least of all as the crown of creation. When the perception is not in alignment with the script of the fantasy but one of the many speculative ways to be special, for example by being a hippie or a businessman, it mirrors the belief that you are a special self, who believes to be independent of the brain and in charge of its own life.

As everything experienced is a product of the brain so is the experience of being independent of it. Thus perceiving to be in charge of your own life is out of sync with the fantasy world of the brain, wherefore it does not result in happiness but sadness and an endless search for something better. It is a quest that seems to generate lots of thoughts.

But they are not generated in the stream of thoughts coming from the brain to keep up the fantasy of you as someone substantial in a tangible world, as the few thoughts that are needed for this are in a locked stream. And they are not really in the pool of thoughts, the brain has made from where you can compose your perception of what you believe to experience because thoughts cannot be added to the pool. But by interpreting them in different ways, they seem to multiply.

Following the script of the brain is like being in a silent movie. There is not all the noise, that otherwise seems to come from thoughts.

So if you feel bothered by thoughts, it is because you are using special interpretations to compose perceptions that are out of sync with the script of the brain. And instead of getting in sync with it, you try to adjust your perceptions better to the agreed ways of being someone special, for example a hippie, a businessman or a Buddhist.

Since that is a speculative process, it requires much more thoughts. Thus you imagine increasing the pool of thoughts by emphasising each thought in different ways so if the same thought is understood sarcastically or lovingly, for example, depends on your tone of voice. Then you compose this in a way that they make look like a satisfied hippie, businessman or Buddhist.

When enjoying duality to the fullest, you will see it is a positive confirmation of non-duality, since it is formless and therefore everything, so you could not have the experience of duality without it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

That being said, this article does not attempt to explain duality. Nor does it point to non-duality, as it takes more than one to do so and there is no more than the oneness of non-duality since it is formless and therefore endless. But it points to the illusion of duality, including the explanations in this article or anywhere else.

This is not meant to say you should stay away from the illusion duality. On the contrary, enjoy it to the fullest, which is so easy when being the basic self and not trying to adjust to one of the many speculative concepts of the special self. It takes too many thoughts to devote yourself to one of these belief systems, whereas devoting yourself to the belief system of the brain and thus being the basic self is so straightforward that, sooner or later, you will find yourself in the process of emerging yourself with something that attracts you.

In the case of Alexius, the devotion to the fantasy of a physical object brought him in a contact with the non-physical object he calls Gudruång and who hums ethereal tunes that Alexius adds words to so the form Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings (read more about that here).

If the object of your desire is physical, it is probably best if you stick to it as a fantasy, since manifesting it could bring about problems.* It does not matter what it is you desire. What matters is that you go with the flow of it so intensely that you end up feeling nothing but that. Since that means, there is not something to contrast it that can define it, you are not someone definitive and thus not something that appears to hide, there is no more than that which is formless, namely non-duality since it is without beginning and end.

All the duality hacks facilitate this, and they automatically apply themselves when you read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings not to learn but to unlearn everything. If you look for the result of this, you will not see it, because the result is nothing. Thus there is not something that seems to cause problems anymore.

Be aware, that starting sense what you believe to is non-existing, it may at first feels as if being beside oneself and therefore being a bit clumsy. No worries. That is how the script of the brain deals with this and if not being put off by it but perceiving it as it is, you will forget about how things should be and enjoy them as they are.

Consequently, you are happy as the basic self when you are not in the bliss of not-knowing until the experience of happiness and bliss or anything else in a world of duality has no appeal compared to that which no one can experience since it is formless and therefore endless, namely non-duality.

In a world of duality everything has an end. In non-duality, however, there is no time and thus no end.

There is no meaning to be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor anywhere else, because it takes more than one to find something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. APPENDIX:
No matter what you experience to be or have in a dream, it is not real but make-believe. And so is the appearance of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no more than non-duality since it is formless and therefore endless. As that means there is nothing outside of it, there is no inside and thus nothing to experience. So if you experience to be someone, you are not in non-duality, nor anywhere else because there is nothing outside of it. In other words, a world of duality is an illusion, that is made by nobody since there is not anybody in non-duality.

Within the apparent materialisation of this illusion, your most defining experiences of duality are stored in the brain and as they constitute the self you believe to be (read more about that here) you cannot have the belief in being this self undone without honouring the brain.

So you should not dismiss the experiences fabricated and stored in the brain because they ratify the choice you seem to have made to believe you are someone in a world of duality, and if not honouring you have made this choice, you cannot undo it.

The undoing of it, however, does not come from doing or not doing something specific or from stopping thoughts. This is within the realm of the belief that there is something to experience and thus enhances that belief.

The undoing comes from the willingness to remain in the nothingness, that the brain continuously renders into a world that seems to be made from something. This nothingness is not non-duality. It is formless and therefore endless so it is everything. As it takes the brain one second to render something from the nothingness it assumes to be outside of non-duality, what is experienced now as if it is something was nothing one second ago. Thus this experience will not seem to occur if you remain one second behind (read more about that here) because then it is perceived from the gap between nothing and something.


*) This should not be understood as you in general refrain from participating in making the world appear as if it is physical. If you are scripted to have a family, for example, you engage yourself in that in a physical way. Doing this in a tangible way is a good way of getting used to going with the flow so when you have no obligations you can abstractly do that.

Yet completely being engaged in your family may result in the realisation that having experiences of duality is only possible due to non-duality, as it is formless and therefore everything. Thus duality is perceived as a positive confirmation of non-duality.
