It is not possible to be separated from the formlessness of that which is one, because there is nothing outside of it, because what is formless is endless. So you leaving it and appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but make-believe.

To be together with somebody else is not possible, as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Yet it is possible to imagine that there is more, and doing so you are alone together.

But you did not imagine to leave that which is one on your own, as that would mean, you still are at one. Hence you left it, as if you are more than one by imagining to be together with another one. This state of mind is called alone together in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings.

Alone together is how you seemed to leave the formlessness of that which is one, so nothing new needs to be learned in order to return in the same way as you appear to have left it.

Almost everybody in a world where there seems to be more than one have blocked out, that we are alone together, so that they instead can fabricate an experience of being together with somebody in a tangible way. But one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one knows we are alone together and is happy that this is so, because that means we all return to the formlessness of that which is one when someone return there alone together.

Inclusiveness reveals the formlessness of that which is you

The requirement of the enlightenment of that which is one is to know what and where you are. The animation is grabbed from the web.

It is very easy to meet the requirement of the enlightenment of that which is one, as all it requires is that you do not know what and where you are, and this nobody knows. That is unless you hide this by being exclusive instead of inclusive, because by excluding something, you seem to be defined as someone definitive, who autonomously can decide what and where to be. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

Someone who is not to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to someone who is online all the time. The light of the sun is never seen – only the light of the screen is seen. Likewise you never see the light from that which is one, when you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. All the light you see in such a world is artificial, no matter where is seems to come from, because such a world is not real.

In fact all light that can be seen is an illusion, because it takes more than one to see something and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Therefore the light from that which is one is not something you see, neither is it something you become, as that also requires more than one.

To not see and neither be the light of that which is one, you must be willing to undo the belief in being someone at all. Forgetting what and where you are or not caring about more accomplishes this.

Inclusiveness results in nothing, because without the exclusion of something, you cannot be defined. Not being definable there is nothing to hide the formlessness of that which is you.

How to forget where and what you are
You are defined as someone definitive by what you do not like in yourself and therefore exclude by projecting it on others. In other words, it is the exclusion of something from what you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, that defines you as someone definitive there.

From this follows that if you do not exclude anything but include everything, you are not defined as someone definitive, neither is there no more for you to become or have, and so there is nobody to believe that you are someone definitive.

Theoretically speaking everything can be included right now. Yet you may want to take it more slow and do it along the way, because the more the belief in being someone definitive is undone, the less you suffer from it, and so you are able to enjoy the excitement of this belief while having it undone.

You cannot fail when practising inclusiveness. If you forget to include something, you include your forgetfulness. And if you think, it is a sin to forget something, you include being a sinner.

Nothing has to be changed or made better to make inclusiveness work. It is very simple. You can never do it wrong, because if you do, you include that.

You can also have the belief in being someone definitive undone in a similarly smooth way by having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see the article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment) or connecting with the empty breath (see hack #4.4 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

The last two approaches require you to open up to the world of the inner senses, but if you prefer to remain in the world of the outer senses while slowly but surely having the belief in being someone definitive undone, you stick to inclusiveness as described above. See

Another approach that also sets off from the world of the outer senses is to pretend being in it instead of believing to be there (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive and hack #1.6 Pretending is a way out of duality) or to perceive everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience them (see hack #2.1 Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality and hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life or simply be what you already are as someone definitive, namely alone together (see hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

If you do not want to take it slow but to have the belief in being someone definitive undone in less than no time, you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. See

Apart from the enlightenment of that which is one the above approaches overlaps each other. Basically they all lead to what in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings is called a perfect moment, which is not perfect in the sense that there is nothing wrong, but that it makes no difference if something appears to be wrong or not.

The best of the above approaches to use is the one that suits you the best, and if that changes from day-to-day, that is the way to go. Alexius follows the empty breath, which like an automatic gear shifts to the one of the above approaches, that makes you indifferent to the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

To send love and healing enhances the belief in separation and therefore suffering

The concept of sharing is very important for those believing to be someone definitive, as it requires more than one to share something and therefore confirms the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

The ego is very pleased, that to send love and healing is so popular, because it thrives on separation, and by sending something to somebody else you enhance the belief, that you are a separated being in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, by using your energy to share something with somebody perceived to be different from you, you are serving the ego.

Those sending love and whatnot, because they think they have something that somebody else do not have, consider themselves to be full of compassion. But all what they are full of is fear, and what they give is suffering, because they enhance separation, which is the cause of it.

But if you use the same energy as a means to take-off to the empty breath*, the need for sharing fades out, because the empty breath slowly but surely undoes the belief in separation, so that the more it is undone, the more you see the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not make a difference.

Hence the belief in separation is not enhanced and you are not serving the ego. Well, you are not serving anybody, because when apparent differences are not perceived to make a difference, you are nobody, which you already was, because it is not possible to be someone definitive.

That which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one. And as what is formless is endless, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

INTRO TO HACK #5-7.4, Notes about enlightenment and whatnot

The ego likes to give the impression, that it can help you getting more, whether in a so-called spiritual or materialistic way. Yet you never get anything but the need for more. This need, however, you already had. It was because of that you invented the ego, so it seems, that although that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Both someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one and someone who is not knows nothing. Those not to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, however, do their best to act as if they know a lot, whereas someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has no such need, as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one is not perceived to make a difference, and so there is nothing to know – except of course that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

So whether you think, that you know, why it is raining, why you or somebody else do this or that, what you think you know is an illusion, as it takes more than one to know something and the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless.

From this follows that to love or help somebody, just like everything else in a world where there seems to be more than one, is an illusion, and therefore an attribute of the ego.

Everything that requires more than one is an attribute of the ego. Yet attributes of the ego can be used to having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone, if that is the purpose of using them. Using the attributes of the ego to have the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone takes time. But in the process you can enjoy the attributes of the ego as well, whereas there is nothing to enjoy in the fastest way possible, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, as it takes more than one to enjoy anything. All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

++ Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment

There is no life in the world. It is to be compared to a dream, which, no matter how beautiful it may appear, is an illusion.

Although the formlessness of that which is one it is the power making it possible to simulate a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not possible for it to be in the simulation – just like it is not possible for the street simulated in this image to be in the picture, or for a dreamer to be in the dream empowered by it.

When the formlessness of life is perceived as the sole cause of any experience – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – you never play somebody else´s game. Even if it may seem so, they are not the reason for what you appear to do and say. Neither is the person you seem to be.

There is only one reason for your apparent thoughts, feelings, conversations and actions, namely the formlessness of life. In other words, it is not someone definitive who thinks, feels, says or does something.

As life is formless and thus without beginning or end, everything definable is lifeless. Yet everything without life symbolises it, because there is no more than the formlessness of life.

This does not mean that it is the formlessness of life that thinks, feels, says or does something. But that it is the energy which makes it possible to experience as if someone is doing this, although there is no more than the formlessness of life, since formlessness have no beginning or end.

Neither does it mean, that you have found the formlessness of life in a world defined by time and space, but that everything there is perceived to be a symbol of it. As both the experiencer and the experienced therefore are symbols of that which makes it possible to perceive a world where the formlessness of life seems to be divided into more than one, the apparent differences in such a world do not make a difference.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

Hearing or feeling the echo of life
Appearing in a world defined by time and space as a symbol of the formlessness of life, you do not pump up the volume of music to hear or feel it, but to be reminded that it is the formlessness of life that makes it possible to have the experience of hearing and feeling something.

The echo of oneness does not reveal what that which is one is, but what it is not, namely the nothingness in which you believe to be someone definitive in a tangible world.

This is not to say, that the formlessness of life can be heard and/or felt in a world defined by time and space. It is not possible to hear or feel formlessness. But it is possible to hear the echo of it coming from the edge of the universe. This unpronounceable vibration, which often is symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God, is heard or felt when you are more attentive to the world of the inner senses than that of the outer ones.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally meant to symbolise one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be someone in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

As none of the aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, the experience of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration coming from the edge of the universe is not the enlightenment of that which is one but a glimpse of it. Neither is seeing or tasting the enlightenment of that which is one, since it is an experience and therefore just as illusionary as any other experience (see All experiences are equally unreal).

But as these illusionary glimpses of enlightenment is not of the world experienced by the outer senses but by the inner senses, experiencing them from there while still being aware about the world of the outer senses, they have the capacity to undo the deception of the outer senses – not abruptly like the enlightenment of that which is one, but little by little. In the world of the outer senses you must always plan for the future in order to uphold the illusion of linear time.

The more the outer senses, that perceive a world defined by time and space, is turned inwards, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inner senses. This is why it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (you can read more about the illusion of time by clicking here) – where the echo of the primordial vibration, that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises, is used to create a fantasy of a world constructed by time and space in such a way that it seems to be real until you hear or feel this echo.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of god or rather one perpetual present is symbolised by the word ´Aum´ or ´Sohang´ and in the New Testament by ´The Word of God´: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one perceives ´The Word´ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on experiencing the world of the outer senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is an echo of the formlessness of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. This includes the vibration that is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which is as close to you, as anything else you experience to be close in the world of the outer senses, if you are not deceived by them into believing that you are constricted by the definitions of time and space. The world of the inner senses is not ruled by these definition, so there you can go directly to the edge of the universe and hear or feel the formlessness of that which is one coming out of a black hole. It is also there that you see or taste it.

One way to turn the outer senses inwards in order to hear or feel the echo of oneness is to not be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all what you hear or feel completely unedited – or rather are willing to do so – the sum of everything in the world of the outer senses is heard as a humming coming from the edge of the universe. It sounds or feels like nothing and everything at the same time.

In such a perfect moment you appear to be both in the world of the outer and inner senses at the same time, but without any sense of separation between them. A perfect moment though is not a moment where you are filled up with new energy or anything else, since you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Being that, however, is very blissful.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do this without having to spent years of meditating, chanting and whatnot.

Be aware that the ways described in this article to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will not work, if you look forward to be or have more in a spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic way. This does not mean, you must avoid being or having more but not care about how much.

The third eye
Appearing in the world as a symbol of life you do not close your eyes to go to sleep, but to see glimpses of the formlessness of life, which is done via the inner sense called the third eye, that is a single ´eye´ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this makes sense to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. Yet he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – have no energy to focus, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome by completely closing down the outer senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he in his early 20s returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to close the outer senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say that from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can close the visual outer sense and open the inner eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. It is best to do this in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outer senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having an inner vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so that there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, because formlessness has no end.

As the sense of sight is always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search around in the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle down at a light show expose at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

If no contrasts are perceived at all the colours turn into a white light, that is so bright that it is not contrasted by something or illuminating anything. That is the enlightenment of that which is one.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inner senses, that is above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger across each eyeball from outer corner to inner, while having the forefinger on the third eye.

But this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures will open the third eye.

None of the inner senses can be reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. Deactivating the outer senses, however, can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems to be helpful in this regard by all means go for it. Yet the fastest way to deactivate the outer senses is to not know what and where you are.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When you momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nobody to prevent glimpses of enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, which extracts all thoughts, that you have hold onto in order to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so that there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of that which is one.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at al. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that can be experienced as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland, that appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the enlightenment of that which i one, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, neither consciousness, because to experience or be consciousness about something requires more than one.

If you want to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you must pick up the thought construction, that was left at the edge of a black hole before you entered it, in order to be shaped as someone definitive.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is not another side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not enlightened. Yet, due to your vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, that you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But you will for sure grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and that anything appearing there – including the appearance of you as someone definitive – therefore is an illusion.

Appearing in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is one, you do not perceive music to be a means to joy, but as a means to be reminded of the airy music full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the inner world of the senses, that opens up when the outer senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense that the first sentence of this quote refers to ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´, and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

As Alexius has no intellectual knowledge of religious scripts most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to inner music.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise canceling headphones is a great way to close the outer sense of hearing. Alexius personally prefer in-ear headphones though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way of closing the outer sense of hearing and open the inner one is to put both thumbs in your ears or simply use a noise canceling headphone or an in-ear headphone, and then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal harmonies coming to you from what may seem to be far away.

For tuning in it is best not go with the vibrations appearing to come from the left ear, as they often are the sounds of a busy mind, but instead follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of your right ear. That being said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies but the humming symbolised by ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´. If so, follow this glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one.

It could also be that the only thing you ´hear´ is your thoughts. Yet you have no thoughts. That is just something the ego wants you to believe, so that although they are not made by someone definitive, you believe that they are created by you. Just like you tend to believe a dream is made by you although you do not have any control over it, except for how to perceive it.

As the ego lives from separation, it cannot survive inclusion, so if thoughts are not avoided but included, the ego is no more. And as that means there is nobody to confirm you as somebody special, there is nobody to be disturbed by thoughts. Hence empty space can be heard as eternal harmonies – or if in touch with one of the other inner senses, it can be experienced as light, eternal sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of life helps you to not focus on the world of the outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner ones become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outer senses. Since this results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no differentiation between you and the world where you experience to be. The taste of life
Appearing in the world as a symbol of oneness you are not tasting the most exquisite food to get delicate experiences from that, but to be reminded about the taste of life, which in the world can be compared to the taste from foam of a milkshake with a few drops of honey added to it or to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

To compare a taste to something else is a very individual thing, so you may not compare the inner taste to that of liquorice.

To describe a taste by comparing it to another taste is a very individual thing. In other words, you may not compare the taste of life to a taste of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in the old scriptures you should not expect it to make you more young or inject you with more energy in the world of the outer senses. Anyway, you are better off never to expect more of anything, as that which is you is no different from that which is one, and since it is formlessness and therefore endless there is no more than that which is one. Hence looking for more is an illusion based on the belief that is more than that which is one.

One way of undoing this belief is to not focus, because without it a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be perceived, and so it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately the taste of life is very beneficial in regards to defocussing.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of life, provided you are already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted or most teas including liquorice.

As already mentioned, the taste of life can be compared to enjoying the transparent taste from the foam of a sweet milkshake. Sometimes, however, it is with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry or mint, so you none of the descriptions of it are definitive. In any case it is best not to compare the taste of life or other glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and therefore cancels out the ever-present glimpses of enlightenment.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inner sense of taste does not only stop the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example more sweets. The taste of life is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste dripping from above. If you cannot get your tongue all the way, it is not a problem, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it.

The taste of life unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there, because it cutbacks the need to focus and also the longing for more. As a side effect it diminishes the craving for sweets as well. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques will work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe several months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way, which may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

You do not have to literally replicate the technique in above quote, where the taste of life is called Khechari Mudra. Neither do you actually need to be able to make the tongue go all the way behind the uvula. Pushing it as far as possible will do.

The way to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of its facets is not about perfection. Neither is it about how you breath, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outer senses. Yet things like that may be helpful in order to deactivate the outer senses.

But no technique in the world of the outer senses can deactivate them, if that is not the intention of executing the technique. In other words, first step is solely about intention, and if that is to deactivate the outer senses, there is nothing to hinder your trip into the world of the inner senses. Second step is to devote yourself to the amazing journey there.

The above about steps only applies to having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and not to bidding it welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

It is probably best to not be active in the world of the outer senses, while having visions of light, as the visual glimpses of enlightenment can become so intense, that the world of the outer senses hardly is sensed.

When the belief in being in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone, there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

The technique for tasting the sweetness of life, however, can be carried out while being active in the world of the outer senses. The same applies to enjoying the ethereal harmonies, if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears, and also hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent though, that you are not able to navigate there. But it probably feels like you do not have to, and that you are carried around in a dream with no will of its own.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, where you no longer appear to be someone in a dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, neither do you appear to be in oneness, since that requires more than one.

In other words, you are not someone at all and there is no memory or consciousness of you ever having been that, because it was all make-believe and the belief is wiped out.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. Focus versus defocus
The world of the outer senses needs you constantly concentrate and focus on it, as if you are an autonomous creature in control of your own life. In the world of the inner senses it is the other way around. It reveals itself when there is no effort to focus, concentrate and control.

But since it is also an act of control to continually trying not to focus in order to see, hear, feel or taste the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, so besides from getting a headache spreading out from the third eye from too much focus, the inner senses are fenced off.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inner and outer senses, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outer senses and space out in the world of the inner ones, when nothing is required of you.

How to make this work between the inner an outer sense Alexius does not know, because through his connection with the empty breath, that functions as an automatic gear shifting between the inner and outer senses, it is automatically being take care of. See the last paragraph about the empty breath.

The belief that there is more than one blocks out that which is one
In a world, where there seems to be more than one, the mixing of things may turn out to work well for you. But not in the world of oneness. As it requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of mixing the different facets of the enlightenment of that which is one fences it off.

That being said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits in regards to defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of enlightenment.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, there is no more than that which is one.

Ways to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one
Can the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, only be undone via the inner senses? No, it can also be undone though the world of the outer ones as described in the duality hacks called Pretending to be someone definitiveSeeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality, Being inclusive and not exclusive or Alone together. See hack #1-3 + 8. There might be other hacks than those to have this belief undone. But as Alexius has not tried them, he cannot say if they work. Yet, the hacks based on second-hand knowledge from Buddhism and whatnot are is most likely fake – especially if those promoting the hacks have beautiful visions about a hypothetical better future full of love, bliss and happiness, because there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, to be blissful, happy or full of love is an illusion, as it requires more than one to be anything at all.

The connection with the empty breath does not unite the outer and the inner senses but it makes them synchronised, which among other things means that what you used to judge as stressful in the low frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressing, when synched with the high frequency world of the inner senses, because of the indifference coming from the empty breath.

The empty breath
 ´lifts´ you out of the belief in being someone definitive by automatically synchronise the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one become the basis for interpreting the world of the outer senses.

It is like being transported in driverless car, that is programmed to take you to the aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one that attracts the most, so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

NOTES ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from where the quotes in this article are taken. He found them all by searching the internet.

When everything is included there does not appear to be something outside of you, neither inside of you, as that requires there something to be outside of you. In other words, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius do not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions, neither new age philosophy, as they in general appear to be about excluding what is judge to be bad in order to become what is judged to be better, purer or higher. Yoga techniques for example are often based on meditation or something else where what is not one is excluded. Theoretically speaking this should leave out everything but the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness cannot exclude anything, this is not what you get from being exclusive.

Just like the outer senses can be used with the sole purpose of entertaining yourself and impressing others with how much you appear to be and have, the inner ones can be used with the same purpose. In fact that is the most common purpose for those who like to label themselves as spiritual. They believe that having visions of an inner world makes them more spiritual and therefore different from others.

But as long as the apparent differences in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is perceived to make a difference, you are part of the very same belief in separation as those whom you think you differ from. That is, however, quickly solved in the world of the outer senses, because as we all share the same belief system of separation, we all in are the same boat. In other words, the apparent difference between us makes no difference, and so there is no foundation for the belief in separation.

As you can see, you do not need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one to practically see that to believe in separation makes no sense. But without having bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, it is may be difficult to take it to the next step, which is that without separation there is no foundation for the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

However, as such a world is a matter of belief – quantum physics states it is only appears to be there when observed –you may as well believe someone, who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, telling you that it is a hallucination – especially as this includes your appearance as someone definitive, because that means all problems are solved, as all your problems arise from the belief that you are someone at all.

The outer senses is not a contrast to the inner senses in the way for example black is to white. It is not that the outer senses are on the outside and the inner senses on the inside. Their names rather mean that the outer senses are geared to experience a world, that is perceived to be outside of you, whereas the inner senses help you to experience a world that does not seems to be separated from you.

The inner senses is used to see a world, that does not appear to be outside of you. But it does not mean it is inside of you. There is neither anything inside or outside, as that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one.

But scientifically speaking the world consists of empty space, so whatever tangible appearances you seem to experience is make-believe, regardless where they appear to be. It is also make-believe, that there is someone who experience is experiencing this. See Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´.

To undo the belief in being someone in a tangible world, it may be beneficial to not only use the outer senses but also the inner ones, as what is experienced with them does not seem tangible, so you may start questioning the existence of a tangible world and you as someone there.

Everything experienced is a deception
Often those having visions via the inner senses conclude, that the world experienced with the outer ones is an illusion, and they are right – but they are not right, when they go on concluding the world experienced with the inner senses is real.

It requires more than one to experience something, and as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, because what is formless is endless, no experience is real. Nevertheless turning down the volume of the outer senses, that in the context of the physical world operate below the eyebrows, and turning up the volume of on the inner ones, which means to partially shift awareness to above the outer senses, makes it easier to undo the belief in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

There is nothing real to find in the world of the outer senses – neither in the world of the inner ones, but there it may be easier to uncover the illusion of the senses, so that there is nothing to hide that which cannot be sensed, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

Illusions can be used to unveil their illusionary nature
The more you do not try to define anything, which is easier in the world of the inner senses, as there is not so many established concepts about what it is, the less there is someone definitive experiencing anything. And when there is no belief in being someone definitive, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

For some it seem easier having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone in the abstract world of the inner senses. But the belief in separation can also be undone while experiencing the world of the outer senses,

When senses are not used to experience something, enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome

But if you do not give the outer senses your full attention, the inner senses will supply you with a perfect moment, where glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will fill you with so much joy, that the need to be someone at all is gone.

The way to not give the outer senses your full attention is to not believe, the experiences they deliver are real. This is done by not giving a shit about upholding the image of you as someone significant in a world, where there seems to be more than one. The more you do not give a shit, the more the inner senses take over.

If somebody seems to cheat you, reject you or something else that you judge to be unfair, you choose not to believe this to be real, and so you set yourself and others free from the world of the outer senses. It is in your own best interest to set everybody free, even though you may think, that not everybody deserve to this. But setting them free, the world of the outer senses fades out, so that you can connect with the empty breath, that opens the door to the world of the inner senses, where enlightenment of that which is one is waiting for you to bid it welcome.

A way to undo the belief in the world of the outer senses is to perceive everything there as not real but symbols of that which is – just like you for example perceive the written word milk not as real but a symbol of that which is.

When perceiving the whole world of the outer senses as symbols, none of its apparent differences make a difference, because they are all symbols of the same – and so there is no  foundation for separation. This perception opens the inner senses from where you can experience glimpses of enlightenment or bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

But as someone in the world of the outer senses you cannot perceive everything there as symbols, because in order to appear as someone significant there, you have excluded the parts of it, that do not fit into your chosen the image of yourself. That is, unless you include this separation or accept the guidance of the empty breath, which you do by not accepting the apparent reality in the world of the outer senses.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not something you find, like you find other things in the world. Enlightenment is rather that you do not try to find anything, so that there is not something to hide, you are not someone definable but one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, no need not to look for enlightenment, but for that which you are using to hide it. You could also just accept the guidance of the empty breath.

If from reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings you get the impression, that the inner senses are less deceptive than the outer ones, you have chosen to be deceived into believing that you can become someone better, higher or wiser via the inner senses. And if that is your purpose, they will cause you as much suffering as the outer ones.

But if your purpose is to not become anything at all, so that there is not something to hide the formlessness of that which is you, the inner senses will speed up the undoing of the belief in being someone at all.

It is very easy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, because they write themselves. Alexius just have to hit the right keys. Before doing that, however, he may have had a hard time coming to the point of for example being able to write about dying from the world as described in the below box:

When you perceive everything, that can be experienced, as symbols of that which is life, to focus on something becomes a symbol of life. Consequently to focus on what is not real in order to make it appear as if it is, leads to defocusing, because when everything is perceived as a symbol of the same, their apparent differences do not make a difference.

Without focus the world cannot be experienced, neither you as a person in it, and so there is nothing to see. No forms appears to hide the formlessness of that which is life.

The above box summarises a very long night long time ago, where Alexius was on the edge of dying, and where for several days after the feeling of the body was replaced by an electrified humming often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. To make long short, as someone definable, you must always be willing to die, so that there is not something definable appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

This is not meant to be understood as the body must be terminated, because that would imply it is real. It is the belief, that you are someone definable, that must be undone.

The unspeakable sound of Aum or Sohang is your ticket to Highway One

When your ear is close enough to a computer, you hear and/or feel a distant sound coming from its engine. In order to be that close to the computer though, you have to stop focusing on the world empowered on its screen.

The same applies to hearing or feeling the distant sound from the edge of the universe, which is often, although it cannot be spoken, symbolised by the words Aum or Sohang. In other words, you must stop focusing on the appearances in the world of duality to hear the humming from the edge of the universe, which can be compared to hearing the essence of the sound coming from a computer engine or rather the a fan of it. You can also compare the humming to transparently sensing the purring of a cat.

This vibration is used to fabricate and uphold a world of duality – not in the sense that it has created it. The vibration is an echo of that which has no beginning or end, so it cannot create anything with an end. Yet the energy of it is used to keep together the imagination of a world of duality – just like it is the energy of a dreamer that makes it possible to have a dream. It is not possible though to manifest the dreamer in the dream and likewise it is not possible to manifest non-duality in a world of duality.

The vibration that ´Aum´ and ´Sohang´ symbolises is your launching pad to non-duality.

The launching pad to one perpetual present
Sometimes, while having a dream, you sense that it is too weird to be real. Likewise hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang a world of duality stops making sense. The apparent differences of it do not make a difference, and so the concept of duality slowly fades out – also the fear born out of the belief in being someone definitive. Consequently the world no longer seems to have a grip on you, and so you are free to use the humming from the edge of the universe as a launching pad to the formlessness of non-duality.

Alexius is never sad and nobody is ever mad at him. He knows these feelings, and when they pass by he include them – and what is not excluded does not define him.

You cannot know or understand the formlessness of non-duality, because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to know or understand something. For the same reason you cannot experience fear, sadness or anger, neither love, happiness or compassion in that which is one.

This does not mean, that there is no love in that which is one. It is everywhere but as non-duality is formless there is no separation, so there is not something specific to experience. Neither is there someone specific to experience, that there is nothing specific to experience. It is one perpetual present.


NOTES:

  • Hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang, which is to hear or feel the echo of that which is one, is not a miracle cure, as everything in a world of linear time appears to take time – including undoing the belief in being someone definitive and that the fear it entails is an illusion.
  • Following the heart has nothing to do with following the echo of that which is one. This vibration erases the belief in a world defined by time and space. The heart, however needs definitions in order to continuously be excited about something definitive. Consequently it will fight the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang, so that you remain in world defined by time and space.

Though Alexius lives on a Spanish-speaking island his Spanish is not very good, so he hardly understand a word when many people are talking together. But neither does he understand, what they are talking about in his native country Denmark, despite knowing the supposed meaning of their words. See Read more meaningless thoughts and words here.

Most prefer to think, they can steer the direction of their life, as it pleases them. It may also seem so, when looking at it in retrospect, but that is only so, because selected memories are compiled into an image of you as someone in control of its own life.

You are not directing your life, neither is a higher power or anybody else, because what is believed to be you is exactly that, namely make-believe.

Whether they talk about something so-called spiritual or mundane, it is always about emphasising themselves as someone unique who is and/or has more than others. It is not, that Alexius does not have fun appearing to be someone definitive, but for him it is not real – just like when playing a video game, no matter what he seems to be and do there, it is an illusion.*

Alexius has never felt the need to be approved as someone definitive through the acknowledgement, that comes from having an education, many friends, a soulmate or anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one, as although he appears to be in such a world, he does not consider himself to be there – just like within the context of such a world, he does not believe to be in a game he is playing there, although he may have much fun pretending that he is.* Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thus he never has had the need to be rich, famous, wise or powerful to prove he is somebody special. Nevertheless in the eyes of the world he has been very successful, as in his younger days he was often showcased in magazines and TV as someone special (see the physical intro to the enlightened non teacher).

You cannot be in the lead, if you want to follow the empty breath. This does not mean that you cannot be a leader in a world where there seems to be more than one, because a good leader knows how to follow.

He cannot, however, take the credit for this, as it was solely due to the guidance of the empty breath. Not in the sense that it guided him to success – it sees no difference between success and failure – but in the sense that the empty breath just like water fills whatever holes it passes on its way. So if success seems to needed on the journey without distance to that which is one, this is what you get. Read more about this here.

But success does not seem to be what writing Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings is about, neither is it about getting or giving something. And even though he may write, that it is a pointer to that which is one, it is really not so, because if it is not possible to point to oneness, as it takes more than one to do so.

Neither is there any point in pointing to it. You already are there. Where else can you be? There is nothing else than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

And this is what Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are about, namely making it clear, that there is no more than that which is one, and as it takes more than one to experience something, you are hallucinating if experiencing anything at all.

That is the way he is guided to explain it. But it is not due to this logic, that he senses there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. It is because every time he steps aside** in order to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, there is no more than that which is one. Not in the sense that he does not see anything else than that, but in the sense that he sees nothing at all, so there is not something to define him as someone and therefore nothing to hide, there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

*) To step aside means, that the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one, as it is processed by the brain from out of nothing, is discarded in favour for the unprocessed nothingness (read more about that here). The empty breath is your best friend. This may not always be your experience though, because it does not help you to improve the appearance of your body, neither the world that appears to be around you. Yet it helps you to perceive everything through its indifference, so you will feel good no matter the condition of your appearance and its apparent surroundings, when the belief that appearances are real is being undone. Metaphorically speaking the empty breath is a life jacket, you got from that which is one, when you left it to search for more than one. Well, it is not actually possible to leave it, as there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless. Yet it seems possible imagining to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same, because you receive what you give and you give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

This life jacket – the empty breath – loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered with how you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. It does not even see the world you believe to see, neither what you believe to be, because that is a fantasy made from out of nothing – and as the empty breath is nothing as well, it sees nothing but what you and the world is made from.

To see nothing is to love that which is you unconditionally. Thus the empty breath does not need your love. But as long as you believe to be someone definitive, you need to love it in order to feel unconditionally loved.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you probably forget to check the lottery. And when you finally remember, you smile regardless you won or not, because when you are in the flow of the empty breath, you become indifferent to a world where there seems to be more than one and its apparent expectations of you becoming and getting more.

When you are connected with the inner breath, you probably forget to check, if you did win a prize in lottery, and when you remember to check it, you smile whether you did win or not, because being connected with the inner breath, you always feel like a winner. But overriding* its guidance, you mostly feel like a loser. The animation is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does not know how to heal your hay fever or anything else caused by the belief in being someone definitive. But it knows how to heal this belief. And due to the relaxation, that comes from the process of having it healed, you may intuitively explore new ways bringing about the healing of your hay fever as well. The empty breath does not heal the body, but the belief that you are in it
The guidance of the empty breath is not about how to achieve more health, money, success, love or something else, but how to see what you appear to be and have is nothing.

Being connected with the empty breath every experience of something is perceived to be nothing. This does not mean though, that you do nothing about a broken leg, for example. But as the leg is perceived to be nothing, and so is what you do about it, you do not worry if something will be accomplished. Thus doing something about it becomes effortless.

To be loved is a need that comes from belief in separation. But as you do not perceive differences to make a difference, when relying on the indifference of the empty breath, being loved or not does not make a difference. 

If you want to uphold your appearance as someone tangible, although this appearance is 99% empty space and 1% energy according to science, my non teachings about the inner breath is not for you. If you want to uphold your appearance as someone tangible, although this appearance is nothing but empty space according to science, Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings about the empty breath is not for you. They will not help you to become better or transform you into someone who is part of something bigger. On the contrary, they will undo the belief that it is possible to be someone at all, so that there is not someone definitive appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is you. The empty breath is not changing or transforming anything. Such concepts are based on the perception of separation, which is unknown to the empty breath. It knows of nothing but indifference to the apparent different appearances in the world where you believe to be, as it does not see something but nothing there.

Those advocating ´living in the now´ try to replicate the traits of the empty breath. But not by being indifferent to the world of separation fabricated by the brain, but by enhancing the belief in separation through the exclusion of the past and the future, so they can experience something they believe to be now, although all experience is a fabrication of the past executed by the brain. The indifference of the empty breath results in all being the same – not in the sense though that positive and negative, for example, is experienced to be the same, but that their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus it makes no difference, whether you think positive or negative, feel cherished or rejected, try to make the world better or not, search for a higher consciousness or not, are living in the now or whatnot.

When connected with the empty breath you cannot perceive yourself as someone definitive. That is why there is nobody to help or attack you.

This detachment, however, that is a natural trait of the empty breath, cannot be replicated by being an observing or anything else as that implies you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, and detachment is indifferent to this or any other belief.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve your apparent condition or the conditions experienced to surround you, as that is just a replacement of one illusion with another. Its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief, that there is more than that which is one, so this belief does not appear to hide there is no more than that which is one.

To transform or in any other way change what what you appear to makes no difference because all appearances are nothing but a construction of thoughts. Therefore my non teachings are not concerned about what you think or how much you think, but that you belief that you are thinking. When that belief is undone, thoughts do not seem to have any power anymore.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings are not concerned with what you appear to think or how much you seem to think, but that you believe to be thinking. To connect with the empty breath you do not need to stop anything but the belief that there is anything
You may have noticed, that in the articles about the empty breath you are not promised to be transformed, transcended or in any other way be changed. This is because changing or transforming something in a world where there seems to be more than one is just a replacement of one illusion with another.

This can be compared to the world on a computer screen. No matter how it is changed, everything is the same, because there is nothing on the screen. Everything is on a hard disk and yet there is nothing there but zeros and ones. It is not before the zeros and ones have been processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen, that the nothingness of the hard disk appears to be a tangible world, where it seems changes can be made.

Thus the empty breath, which in this context just like what and where you believe to be is unprocessed zeros and ones, has no interest in stopping anything on the screen or to make you think more positive about it. Whatever is on the screen or what you think about it makes no difference.*

If something seems to trouble you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, so that whatever you think or feel does not appear to make a difference. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

So nothing needs to be changed and thoughts needs not to be stopped. The only problem is the belief, that what you are conscious about is real. And that is the concern of the empty breath, namely to undo the belief in you being someone with a consciousness. The inner breath has nothing to do with what you eat, how you dress or if walk or sit. Neither has it anything to do with meditation but to being a medium of it. In other words, it is given to you when you are not be someone specific but nobody.

Connecting with the empty breath has nothing to do with what you eat, how you dress or what you think. Neither has it anything to do with meditation except in the sense of being a medium, which you are when willing not to be special but be a servant of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Taking deep breaths or in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial in regards to connecting with the empty breath, because doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

The same applies to being centred, balanced, focused or being anything else, as it is the willingness to not be anything at all, that ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This willingness, however, does not come from forcing the body into special yoga postures, neither by controlling the mind, but by thrusting its uncontrolled flow to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, regardless you walk, sit, talk and whatnot. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

To make long short, the empty breath does not know, that you assign special meaning to the emptiness of thoughts, so that they appear to manifest you as someone definitive in a tangible world experienced to be made of physical elements instead of emptiness.

Being connected with the empty breath you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a video game, as you know it is all make-believe.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be, so that there does not seem to be someone hiding there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.


*) This should not be understood, as you should not consult a qualified health care professional in order to change your bodily condition to the better, as long as you appear to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.


Being indifferent does not mean that you do not feel happy or sad. The apparent difference just does not make a difference. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Being indifferent does not mean, that there are no feelings. There may seem to be many feelings, for example happiness and sadness. Yet the apparent difference between them does not make a difference, when applying one or more of the duality hacks. The animation is grabbed from the web.

NOTE ABOUT INDIFFERENCE:
Being indifferent does not mean, that you do not feel the apparent difference between for example love and hate, but because there is no need to be acknowledged as someone definitive when connected with the empty breath, you do not consider one of them to be better than the other. In other words, it makes no difference two you which feeling you explore.

This indifference is also ignited by pretending to be someone definitive instead of believing to be it, and from perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, the apparent differences in the world makes no difference.

If the body seems to get better, when you feel connected with the empty breath, it is not because of the empty breath – at least  not directly – because it does not know of something that needs improvement. Indirectly though it is due to the empty breath, as in its presence you are not in the default mode of doing something about something, so the body is not disturbed by you trying to connect it with non-physical like the mind, crystal energies and whatnot.

To imagine that the body is connected with the mind* or something spiritual is like thinking there is a connection between the body and a coat, it is wearing. Though the coat seems to go where the body goes, there is no communication.

This is like assuming there is a connection between you and the world in a movie you are watching. This connection is entirely imaginative. The world in the movie is unaffected by the thoughts or feelings you appear to have about it, neither does it have the power to cause them, unless you imagine that it has.

Metaphorically speaking we have disconnected the body from its source, and as we mistake that for the mind or the soul, we try to fix the problem by connecting the body with the mind and/or soul. The physical elements of the body though do not mix with mental or spiritual concepts.

Thus the attempt to do this results in so-called psychosomatic disorders and frustrated thoughts and feelings about how to heal them. Unfortunately this disturbance is perceived as a proof of such a connection instead of a warning against it.

The belief in a body-mind connection is a confusion of levels* – just like if you feel your body is connected with somebody you are chatting with on the phone. Though there may be a connection of minds, there is no connection of bodies.

Fortunately the empty breath is indifferent to whatever you seem to think or feel, and so are you when connected with it. This does not mean it heals the body, but that it liberates it from the sick ideas you have forced upon it, so that it is straight forward for a qualified health care professional to bring order in its biological system. Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your wellbeing as someone definitive, as well as the undoing of the belief in being that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of you as someone at all.

Most hang onto the awareness of being somebody special and try to enhance it by getting something extraordinary. But as that confirms the belief in separation, it seems to result in an essential sorrow, regardless what you appear to achieve.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, in a row, if you want to continue the experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about this here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the state of the conscious experience of you as someone definitive and the state of not-knowing, that it entails.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath, so that when it expands the body you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and in a state of not-knowing when it is contracting the body.

Thus the slate is wiped clean with each contraction of the body, provided you do not try to keep something there by blaming others for what you appear to be, as that holds back a state of not-knowing. This is not a matter of letting go or surrender, as doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does trying to figure out, if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it really makes no difference, which way you experience it to go.

What you believe to be is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the awareness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are cancelled.

As long as you go with the flow of knowing and not-knowing, you are slowly but surely having the belief in being someone undone. No need to worry about how much time it takes.

Time is an illusion and every experience is bound to end, when you continue in this flow, as in its presence the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, wherefore they one by one is cancelled out.

When every so often being connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, wherefore they are of no use for the brain in defining you or others as somebody definitive.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out differences and insist that some of them matters, for example the apparent difference between a friendship and a romantic relationship, so you start arguing with yourself or others about right and wrong.

But that is not a problem, if the frustration, this seems to cause, is used as a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences, also that of the empty breath, so there is nothing to hide that which cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

Oneness cannot be revealed, but what hides it can. This does not happen though by wanting to be at one or waiting for it to be realised, as that requires more than one.

Yet it can be realised, what it is not, namely to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings is not about realising the formlessness of oneness, but that it is a mistake to believe, that you are someone definitive, and that this mistake is corrected by using one or more of the duality hacks, for example the empty breath, as in its flow of nothingness, there is not something to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Since realising something only is possible in a world where there seems to be more than one and since it is a world of linear time, this realisation is a process in time.

Nothing can be done to speed up the process of undoing the belief in being someone definitive, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive. Besides, it is not a process, as the moment you are willing to have it undone, it is undone.

Yet this may seem to occur in the future, because in a world of linear time, everything appears to take time – just like it takes time for the rays of the sun to reach the Earth.

The willingness to realise, the belief in being someone definitive is a mistake is most often initiated by admitting, you are not willing to realise this, because by acknowledging that, you are agreeing being someone definitive is make-believe and therefore not that which is you.*

If not suppressing thoughts and feelings by trying to organise them into something that seems to make sense, the uncontrolled energy of them will ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

When breathing in you follow thoughts and/or feelings –without excluding any of them – all the way to the top of the head. There the gentle explosion of their restlessness clears up everything and leaves nothing but the bliss of indifference to the appearance of differences and thus to you being someone definitive.

Following the breath down to the abdomen you are therefore in a state of not-knowing, where you remain when you continuously go up and down with the breath, until an appearance is especially focused on and thus seems to make a difference.

This should not be understood as a state of not-knowing is in the flow of the physical breath – just like the music you turn on by hitting a button is not there. A state of not-knowing is nowhere in specific and therefore obscured by the experiences of time and space, that seem to confirm you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Following the rhythm of the breath as described above or in the other articles about it (see the next box) fascinate the brain, so it forgets to constantly produce a conscious experience of you as someone definitive separated from others by time and space. As this is the main purpose of following the breath, it is not important to follow it in the exact same the way you interpret that it should be done according to Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings.

If you think you will find something better around the next corner, you will probably not notice the empty breath, because it is not behind anything but before everything. If you look for something, you will not notice the empty breath
Although being in the bliss of the empty breath therefore is very simple and straightforward, it may seem complicated, if you are conditioned with the ideas of controlling and/or stopping thoughts, because controlling or stopping anything is not possible in a state of not-knowing.

Neither is controlling and/or stopping thoughts beneficial for getting into a state of not-knowing. On the contrary. It is when you do not try to stop them, that they are free to speed up until the explosion of their restless energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, and thus to a state of not-knowing, where there by the way still may appear to be thoughts. Yet there is nobody to care about them. That is why a state of not-knowing is so blissful.

Nor can you obtain a state of not-knowing through and concentration, because it is nowhere to be obtained. Yet being defocused, you do not need to, as without focus there is no experience of you as someone in a world defined by time and space. Hence there is not something appearing to hide, that the nothingness of you is no different from the empty breath.

The apparent difference of a boy or a girl, for example, must be upheld as real in order to sustain the belief, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. This appearance remains exactly the same when connected with the empty breath, but due to its indifference your appearance is not judge differ from other appearances. The flow of the empty breath is flexible
As a result of being defocused, you may forget the above description of how to go up and down with the rhythm of the breath and end up go the other way around. Your distance of going up and down may also be diminished or enlarged, so when going up you pass the top of your head and going down you go below the abdomen. No worries. There is nobody to judge the apparent difference to make a difference.

Going up and down is very much like going with the swing of the empty breath or surfing surfing the empty breath in a circular motion (see the paragraphs of the same names in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

The brain will try to process a state of not-knowing into some kind of consciousness, that makes you appear to be very special, and if that seems flattering, you will probably be one more wandering off into a lot of nonsense about coming from your pure essence, heart and whatnot, which all confirm the image that the brain has fabricated of you as someone definitive and thus further obscure that which is you, namely the formlessness of oneness.

But whatever way you follow the flow of the empty breath you cannot stop at anything specific, neither the heart, although the brain likes you to feel that something special is coming from there*, so you do not realise, that every experience – including what is experienced to come from the heart – is a fabrication done by the brain from out of nothing.**

Do not worry if the above seems a bit complicated to you. You do not have to remember it. Just connect with the empty breath and go with the flow as it comes to you. Having done that a few times, you automatically return to the empty breath, when preferring to see emptiness in grievances.

The flow of going up and down
Instead of remaining in a state of not-knowing after going down to the abdomen when the breath contracts the body, you can return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, when you leave the abdomen and with the expansion of the body return to the head.

Though your connection with the empty breath in this way is very short, the gentle explosion of the leftover thoughts and feelings from last time you were in the consciousness of being someone definitive, can be used to ignite a new take-off to the empty breath, so when the body contracts you follow the flow down to the abdomen and return to a state of not-knowing until you follow the flow up to the conscious experience of you as someone definitive – and so on.

In this way you still appear to be someone who is conscious of itself but do not know what it means. In other words, you are in the world but not of it.

When not in the connectedness with the empty breath, grudges and so-called negative thoughts keep popping up as before. But as the indifference of the empty breath is sticky, the apparent difference between grudges and forgiveness or positive and negative thoughts does not appear to make a difference.

Do not try to figure out, when you are in and out of the empty breath, but enjoy the flow of going up and down. And do not spend time on caring about, who it is that is following the breath and when the contrast of going up and down completely cancels out itself and therefore also the experience of the world where you believe to be someone definitive, because when that occurs, there is nobody left to have an experience of time or anything else.

As time is an illusion, this has already happened or rather never happened, because it is not possible to be and have more than that which is one. But while you believe it is, enjoy the flow of going up and down slowly but surely undoing this belief

As reality is that which is one and as it takes more than one to go anywhere, it has nothing else to say than I am here. But if you believe, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, here does not seem to be enough. Yet it makes no difference, as there is no more than here, because oneness is formless and therefore everywhere. That is also why, that which is here cannot be known. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

No more than that which is one
Should you forget to follow the flow and thus forget about the empty breath, there is no reason to punish yourself, because there is no self to punish. It takes more than one to be or have a self and as there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless, any kind of self is make-believe. For the same reason remembering the empty breath is also make-believe*****

Nevertheless remembering the empty breath makes it easier not to believe, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one – and as that means there is no more to pursuit, you are in the bliss of emptiness. But as it also requires more than one to be in this bliss, it is of course also an illusion.

Yet if you stay in this illusion for 20 minutes, 45 at most******, the brain falls into coma and therefore unable to register anything. Thus there is not something that seems to hide, there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

The most exciting aspect of ´the empty breath´, namely indifference, is not exciting but liberating

The empty breath can be felt in many exciting ways, but its most exciting way is actually not exciting, because you hardly feel it, as due to the indifference of the empty breath the apparent differences of the world is not perceived to make a difference, and so the foundation for separation is gone. The empty breath can be felt in many exciting ways. The most exciting way though cannot be felt, because it is not a feeling, but indifference to the apparent differences experienced in a world defined by time and space and thus to the foundation of feeling anything, namely separation. Physically speaking the empty breath is best felt when air is coming in and out through the nose. Yet not as if it is you who do the breathing, but as if it is an ´engine´ inside the body that first expands the abdomen, secondly the belly and lastly the chest. Then a short break before it goes the other way around in order to contract the body. And on and on. It feels like there is hardly any air coming in and out of the nose but that the breath remains within the body all the time.

Please be aware, that this is not a factual description of how breathing is carried out when the empty breath is in the driving seat, but a description of how it feels. It is not something you should try replicate by doing deep breaths and whatnot. In fact it has nothing to do with you taking a deep breath, as the whole concept of the empty breath is that you do nothing.

Doing Nordic Walking – or rather following the flow of it – may help you in being able not to do something. It may also help you to expose the defence mechanisms, that you have built up in the body against going with the flow of the empty breath.

It is probably not the connection itself with  a Fitbit watch, for example, that excites you, but how it motivates you to exercise and consequently feel more comfortable inside a body. Likewise it is not necessarily the connection with the empty breath that makes you feel good, but that its indifference undoes the belief, it is possible to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. When you are connected with a Fitbit watch for example, you do not get an exceptional feeling from the connection itself, but rather from the data you are receiving. Likewise you probably do not feel excited, when you are connected with the empty breath, as its radiance of indifference makes you indifferent to the apparent differences in a world defined by time and space. But as this makes it impossible established separation to be real, there does not seem to be anybody feeling anything, which is pure bliss.

Yet it is not important to undo all these defence mechanisms. Having the willingness to do so is enough to feel the connection with the empty breath.* Neither is it important in which of the ways described in the previous article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, that you feel it, or if it is felt in another way.

Though these ways of feeling the empty breath definitely are very exciting, the most exciting way to feel it – or rather not feeling it – is simply to follow its consistent flow of indifference. Since that makes you indifferent to the apparent differences in the world where you appear to be, there does not seem to be anybody feeling anything but the bliss from being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

There are established ways of feeling somebody else, when you believe to be someone substantial in a tangible world. Yet there are no ways to feel the empty breath, than to momentarily stop believing that you are someone definitive. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since the empty breath has no personality, it has no power of its own, so if it its rhythmic flow is experienced to be weaker, when you appear to be sick or about to die, it is because it the rhythm is synchronised with what you believe to be. Yet the operator of the empty breath (see paragraph of the same name in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?), which is the non-rhythmic energy behind the rhythm of the empty breath remains the same and is also experienced like that, if that aspect you choose to connect with.

So if the transparent non-rhythmic energy of the empty breath is only partially experienced, when the mind or your biological system seems to be out-of-order, the problem is not the empty breath, but that you do not want to experience it fully, when there seems to be problems with your condition, because that would render it unimportant and thus question your belief in being someone definitive.

The less you believe to be substantial, the more you will feel the non-rhythmic transparency of the empty breath.

This does not mean, that you should not take care of the body and the mind, as long as they appear to be there, and consult a qualified health care professional to deal with potential problems – just like you bring your car to a garage for a check-up, even though it is not you.

When you do not know anything, there is not somebody to be sad, neither happy –nor to be anybody or anywhere specific. Thus there is nothing but emptiness, and that is pure bliss.

The achievement of something in a substantial world requires much effort, but as the empty breath is not substantial no effort is required to achieve it. In fact you miss it, if you are doing something to achieve it.

There is no help to get if you do not feel the transparent bliss of the empty breath, as it is a result of your own choice in believing to be someone substantial. Yet this choice is automatically changed, when everything you know is unlearned, so read Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings until nobody is reading it.

As everything you have you have learned enforces the belief, that you are someone definitive – whether that is experienced to be in a so-called spiritual or physical body – you need to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings and apply their duality hacks again and again to unlearn everything you have learned, so that are not automatically aware of something specific, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

Not being conscious of something, neither the empty breath, there is nothing to make perfect. Consequently you are not benumbed in a an experience of yourself as someone definitive but in the flow of nothingness.

This does not necessarily mean, that there is no feelings of sorrow or joy passing by, but that the apparent difference does not make a difference. Yet you should not go with the flow of the empty breath while driving a car, for example, where you need to be conscious about all the apparent differences in the traffic, so you can follow your conditioned respond to these differences. The empty breath undoes your conditioned belief in being someone definitive, because it sets in before there is a conscious recognition of someone at all. Read more about it here.

But while brushing your teeth, doing the dishes, taking a walk in the park or something else, that does not crave a lot of attention, you can follow the flow of the empty breath, and thus bypass your conditioning, so it does not stop you from discovering new ways of taking care of the body and the life you seem to have inside it.

Hence the appearance of you as someone definitive does not seem to drag you down but to enhance the connection with the empty breath, and thus support you in having the belief in being someone definitive undone.

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath is not something definitive, it cannot be felt in a specific way. Yet it can be felt anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body, where you believe to be – but never constantly the same, although it is constantly there.

The empty breath can be felt in many different ways within its non-definable framework of a ball like thingy, that passes through the head – or above it – and the stomach or below it. Yet it is not experienced in relation to the body and what seems to be inside or outside of it, because the empty breath does not of anything definitive.

This is not because the empty breath experience everything in a world where there seems to be more than one to be spiritual, but that nothing is experienced to be there, since experiences is a hallucination made from out of nothing. Read more about that here.

Having an out-of-body experience is based on the belief that you are someone in a body, which is the opposite of the experience that comes from the connectedness with the empty breath, as it undoes the belief that you are someone definitive. See also the article Believing to be in or outside the body is equally insane.

Thus the connectedness with the empty breath is not an out-of-body experience, but a no-body experience. This does not mean, however, that you do not take care of the body, your beloved ones and whatnot when connected with the empty breath, but that it makes no difference, if doing so seems to pay off or not.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears to be disturbing, but trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying is delaying, so you want to be disturbed.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else that is in a fixed position. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience of it changes from moment to moment from as if it is in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside the body. So if your experience differ from the descriptions in this article, go with flow as it comes to you.

Feelings are subjective
If you are very future minded the empty breath may be felt as coming from somewhere in front of you, whereas being minded about the past it may be felt to come from the back. And if you are into the concepts of living in the now, being centred and balanced, it may be felt as it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of it is coloured by own your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath, because contrary to you it has no need to be acknowledged in a specific way. So whether you experience it in the stomach, the chest, inside or outside of the body it carries out its one and only purpose, namely to make you indifferent to the apparent different experiences in the world where you believe to be.

As the empty breath is not static, the experience of it may change from moment to moment and you may experience it in other ways than described in this article.

No worries. Feeling the empty breath is not about approaching it in the right way, but going with the flow. It is only in the world of the outer senses, you must to do the right thing, so you can feel better than those judged to do the wrong thing.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to this indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

I am not a talented illustrator, so instead of making an illustration of the inner breath, I have manipulated an image found on the internet in order to give you an idea of the simultaneously movements inside it.

A basic intro to the non-definitive form of the empty breath
The empty breath has the form of an egg-shaped ball with lots of oval circles moving inside it, but contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Neither do the circles inside of it, and there are so many that there is no space between them. Nor are they empty. Each one of them contains two yin yang like waves, looking a bit like in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that the edges of it are blurry but that neither its size or shape is constant. It may grow bigger and smaller here and there, so that it momentarily feels to be more pear-shaped than egg-shaped.

As there is no up and down in the empty breath, the biggest part of the pear-shaped version of it may seem to be in the top as well as in the bottom, or in the sides or anywhere in between. And as the apparent centre of each one of the oval circles appearing to be inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath are floating around, there is no fixed centre.

Even though there appear to be an endless amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath, and they are moving in each their own direction with each their own yin yang like formed waves moving inside them, they are actually fused into one movement of two yin yang like waves moving in all directions – at bit like in the next animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or in the two last animations of this article.

But as the above is very difficult to comprehend in a world where life seems to be divided into more than one, most will probably not feel the totality of the empty breath, but one of the many circles that seems to make up the empty breath, if you are conditioned to divide reality in more than one. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow, as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre and though it seems to consists of many different movements in each their own size and shape, everything is actually fused into one singular movement. As this may be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one it is most likely easier to experience to experience an aspect of it.

For most the flow will be to circle from the abdomen or stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head or above it when breathing in, and from there going in a circular movement in front the body back to the stomach or abdomen when breathing out.

It can also be felt the other way around. The direction does not matter. It is all about going with the flow, which in this circular movement feels like surfing the empty breath. Another way straight forward way of experiencing it is to sense the swing of it, which contrary to surfing it is rather a feeling of having two very soft sticks swinging inside the body – up and down and back and forth at the same time. Be aware though, that feeling the empty breath as described in this article is only possible to the extent that you do not you care about being or having more of anything, whether that appears to be spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic, because the empty breath has not something to give but the transparent bliss of nothing.

A basic intro to the ways of feeling the empty breath
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below paragraph of the same name) or the indifference of it (check out the paragraph The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference) is a state of not-knowing where you seem to be floating on clouds of bliss, whereas the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of it is more like if you are moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythm of the empty breath can be heard as a distant sound (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the paragraph The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin yang like waves inside and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

Each of the non definable circles inside the non definable ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consist of two yin yang like looking waves (but without the two holes), that are not fixated and probably moves in sync with the breath – or rather the breath moves in sync with them. It is therefore not so much about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath, which may feel like you are surfing the outside of the two yin yang like waves more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

Surfing the empty breath
The illustration above to the right shows a very simplified simulation of the empty breath in which you are not able to see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does it reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre and each of the circles inside it contains two non-definitive waves like in the above image, that can be surfed. Please notice that although the waves looks like the two parts of an yin yang sign, they have no holes. And as they actually are colourless, the colours in the images and all the others this article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the body is expanded by the breath, you surf the outside of the yellow wave, that starts from the abdomen or below it and then go behind the body into the head or on top of it. From there you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body, while the breath is contracting the body, until you come back to the abdomen or below it. That is if you are sensing the waves in a circle going from the back to the front of the body.

Besides surfing the waves in that circle, you can surf the waves in a circle going from the left to the right side of the body and in circles anywhere in between these. No matter what circle you are surfing, you mostly feel the waves in the circular movement outside the body.

It is not about being in total synch with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, neither does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped.What matters is to follow the flow as it comes to you, as that makes you forget the physical breath, so it can take care of itself without any interruption from you being stressed or trying to impose ideas of balance, tranquillity and whatnot upon it.

Maybe the most joyous way to surf the flow of the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue going the whole way around the other one, more or less in accordance with the breath extracting and contracting the body. There may be more joyous ways revealed to you, when following the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outer senses, so that following the flow of the two yin-yang like waves feels like surfing them is an imagination of his.

You can also surf the opposite way than described in the above. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so this might speed up undoing the belief in being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies, if the the non-definable edges of the empty breath is not experienced to touch the body but passes it on top of the head and below the abdomen, as that means there is no relation to the body when surfing it.

Thus you are set free from the body (read more about this here), and the body is set free from you, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to control it in accordance with the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection, which is not possible. Just like you cannot import physical elements in a dream or vice versa. This, does of course not mean, that you should refrain from consulting a qualified health care professional, who can assist in supporting the biological system of the body.

You cannot be someone definitive, when going with the flow of the empty breath, so the belief in being someone separated from the formlessness of that which is one is slowly but surely being undone.

As already said, there is no right way of being with the empty breath. Unlike in the world of the outer senses, where a wrong movement can be fatal, there is no right way of going with the flow of the empty breath, so no need to bother about the right way of  doing it. Besides going with the flow of the empty breath, you will soon be indifferent to what is right or wrong.

Going with the flow without knowing where and why.

Generally speaking you will, as already stated, mostly feel the flow of the waves in one circle – probably the one going from the back to the front of the body or the other way around – but you can also jump from circle to circle or feel them all simultaneously. It is not important. Neither is it important to know all this.

As it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that feeling something is possible, so the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

Alexius was not aware of the empty breath in such a detailed way as described in this article, before he started writing what the empty breath feels like and therefore took a closer look upon it. Normally he just follow the flow without thinking about direction and whatnot, because in his case the flow mostly results in a sense of indifference.

But if you want, it is possible to be a bit more choosy than he is. If you seem to have problems with the past or have a back pain that may benefit from being massaged by the empty breath, you may want to surf both sides of a wave in the back of you.

Should you need to be grounded, you could choose to surf a wave passing the abdomen. And if you feel the need to be intuitive or fact minded (the right or left side of the brain), you could surf one of the waves going sideways in relation to the body. Sideways around the chest could be fine if you have one of these hollow ones, that restricts the breath.

There are many possibilities, but in general it is best not to choose anything, and to go with the flow as it comes to you, because that sets the body free to heal itself. Read more about that here. Neither is it commendable to catch all the details about the empty breath in this article, as an intellectual understanding will not help you to feeling the connectedness with the empty breath. On the contrary.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is not possible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath, because it has no definable form or movement. This animation, however, may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels as if it is coming from a non-definitive curved line, that is to be compared to the line in between the two forms of an yin and yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in an yin yang sign the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but rather a non-definable ball, wherein there are many non-definable circles with each their own curved line. Depending on where a one of these circles are experienced to be located in regards to the standard definitions of directions the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately the animation is not really illustrating this, neither that though the swing of it is extremely powerful, the experience of it may be that it is in no hurry to expand and contract the body.

The swing of the empty breath
What is said in the above about surfing the empty breath generally speaking also apply to feeling the swing of it, except that it is felt solely inside the body, where the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two waves is sensed as a swing, that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Due to the limited size of the body though, this line is felt less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described in the above.

The steady swing of the empty breath, may seem to expand and contract the body slower than when you imagined being in charge of breathing. Yet the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed, that at first it feels like the body does not have enough room for it. Maybe the break in between expansion and contraction also feels too long.

Just like surfing the empty breath can be done with any of the circles within the non-definitive borderline of the empty breath, the swing of it can be felt through the movement of the curved line floating in the middle of any one of these circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front in relation to the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, as you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it may be so foreign to you that you probably prefer following the swing of the empty breath in one circle at a time.

Alexius experiences the swing of the empty breath merged into one simultaneously movement, that feels like no movement at all, when listening to the opening of the opera ´Ahhnaten´ by Philip Glass.

If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all its directions simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as everything is spinning – see the speedy animation just below – but it quickly turns into a feeling of everything standing still – see the third image from here – so you feel breathless and the bliss of being indifferent to whatever you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm, that with much force expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle and probably seems to be slower than you are used to – unlike the driving force behind the rhythm of the empty breath, that is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball of it. And even though the particles of this force is moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos, as that prevents you from focussing on anything specific, so you feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

The operator of the empty breath
Besides from feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing on the outer sides of two yin yang like waves in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy at the root of the empty breath is not in line with the rhythm of the breath. Yet it is the force behind it. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here, there and everywhere or as if spinning through a world with no limits.

There are no rules, but it could very well be, that a take-off to ´the empty breath´ will take you to this aspect of the empty breath … and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit in the rigid world of the outer senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath but like surfing its waves, this force is felt both inside and outside of the body. It is probably easier to feel its very subtle energy outside of the body, because there the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch it, but go with its fleetness, it feels like you are a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you may be transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of the empty breath.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where the operator of it resides and where you most likely land after igniting the empty breath, is therefore a good starting point, when you want to feel the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you out of habit try to focus on the empty breath in order to hear the transparent sound of it (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, your effort to pinpoint it will fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach tits rhythmic flow and transparent sound of it is therefore to start in the chaos at the root of the empty breath – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all around it – as that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, wherefore there is not something definitive blocking out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

The transparent sound of the empty breath
Just like the rhythm of a bass is not only heard but also felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ´so´ when it expands the body and ´ham´ when contracting it.

Sometimes this rhythmic sound of ´so-ham´ seems to come from the nose and sometimes from an undefined space in the back of the head. But since there does not seem to be any boundaries, the sound neither is experienced to be inside or outside the head. At other times it seems to come from a distant space outside the body, as if the breath has nothing to do with your appearance in a body.

Feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a powerful experience like feeling the rhythm of a bass, because it cancels out the feeling of being in a specific body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa for example does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it.

This is basically due to the brain not being able to create a conscious experience of the signals it claims to receive from the sensory system of the body, when you are connected with the empty breath (read more about that here), wherefore there is nobody to divide them into judgments of inside and outside, good and bad, high and low, me and them and so on. Hence the apparent differences in the experience of in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference.

Since this means there is nothing to define such a world, it becomes obvious it is not real but a fantasy made from out of nothing. But just like the reality in the world of a game is the same whether you believe it to be real or not, the reality of a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same, when you sense it is an illusion. Your relation with it, however, is forever changed. There is nobody to believe you are someone definitive there, because it is something you pretend (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body ends.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath as it manifests in the swing or transparent sound of the empty breath, as otherwise it is the end of you when the body stops to function. In that moment it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in the operator of empty breath, so that there is not something specific to stop the enlightenment of that which is one from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath you may naturally float into glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which the visual minded will experience as visions of light and the auditory minded as ethereal harmonies. If you are more emotional minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises or taste the sweetness of life.

These glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, for example the visual aspect of it, will merge into one, if not interpreted as something specific. Hence there is no experience of that which is you being different from that which is one, so nothing seems to hide there never was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

The empty breath is not an appearance that can be manifested by the manipulating the physical breath or by exercising any other form of control.

Hearing or feeling the empty breath is not something that can be provoked by the execution of specific exercises. It is the other way around. When you are not looking for something specific, the empty breath can move on its own accord.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say, that techniques cannot be helpful in regards to tone down the experience of you as someone definitive, so that the apparent existence of you in the tangible world fabricated by the brain does not seem to be a fact but make-believe. Unfortunately most forget, that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like a remote control have nothing to do with the music it triggers.

As the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing there is no awareness of separation. Hence the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing
Alexius does not really know what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like, because it is a state of not-knowing. However, for the purpose of writing about it, he had many short moments of the empty breath ignited, so that he from the vague memories of those could write what it felt like.

The empty breath is not only to be experienced within its border, because it has no specific border, so if you are experiencing it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, because only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Remember that just like the experience of an orgasm is a very personal thing, so is the experience of the connectedness with the empty breath, even though what you experience is not personal and that you actually have no consciousness about it, since the connection is establish half a second before a conscious experience of you as someone definitive is fabricated by the brain. Read more about that here.

In the resulting state of not-knowing what and where you are, which lasts until you insist that the apparent differences registered by the brain make a difference and you therefore must be someone separated from what you see. Until then there is nobody to experience, how blissful it is not believing to be someone definitive.

In other words, the feelings of the empty breath are memories, that pop up when you again believe to be someone definitive. And as memories are based on a very personal selection, your memories may be coloured in another way than in the above descriptions based on the memories of Alexius.
