The enlightenment of that which is one versus glimpses of it

You know this pic is not how the physically world really look. It is rather a fantasy, thar is only possible due to physical life, that it therefore is a symbol of. Likewise the physical world is a symbol of life even though the physical world has nothing to do with life.

We let ourselves be deceived by the outer senses into believing that a world in which everything seems to be separated by time and space is real. Still, when these senses are turned inwards, there is no time and space, and therefore nothing to uphold the belief in separation, neither in the appearance of you as someone definitive.

Without the belief in separation, there is not something to hide, that the abstractness of the inner senses flows straight into an explosion coming out of a black hole or maybe into it. There is no way to know which way it is because this is the enlightenment of that which is one, and it takes more than one to know anything. Also, an explosion may not be the best word to use because it is nothing but empty space carrying the nothingness of you into the formlessness of that which is one. End of story or what?

The formlessness of that which is one is endless
This is not the end of the story because what is formless is endless – not in the sense that it lasts forever. It lasts no time but one perpetual present. However, this never-ending story cannot be written in a world defined by time and space because in such world, everything has an end. In terms of the ending, though, returning to the formlessness of that which is one is the termination of time and space – at least that is how it seems within the context of linear time.

Researches from University of California Santa Barbara have proved that human cells and neutron stars have something in common. Both are namely built of layers – looking like a parking garage with many floors that are connected via steps.

But as there is nothing else than one perpetual present, the only thing that ends is the imagination of a world defined by time and space. Yet reading this article, you still believe in this imagination of a tangible world constructed of layer upon layer of thoughts, added in such a way that it seems there are different levels in this capsule of time and space. Within this context, it also appears as if there are levels of turning the outer senses inwards and that the more the inner senses take over, the more you occur to have glimpses of enlightenment.

It is a relief, when glimpses of enlightenment slowly but surely undoes the belief in being someone definitive – but very unsettling if you want to hang onto this belief.

These glimpses, however, are not the enlightenment of that which is one because there are no levels in that which is one. Nevertheless, they slowly but surely undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one, contrary to the enlightenment of that which is one, whereas it is timeless – it takes no time to have this belief undone.

However, the timelessness of that which is one cannot be brought into a world defined by time and space, so you will not be able to know what it is if you experience to reappear in such a world after having bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

Yet you will have vague memories of it, and that is enough to constantly be reminded, there is no more than that which is one, and consequently all experiences – whether they seem to be so-called spiritual or mundane – are illusions, as it takes more than one to experience something.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one are experienced with the inner senses, while being aware of the world of the outer sense as well – although it seems quite distant.

But to bid the enlightenment of that which is one welcome the outer senses must be completely closed. In other words, there are no awareness of the world of the outer senses and after entering the enlightenment of that which is one there is neither no awareness of the inner senses. Actually, there is no awareness at all, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

To sum it up: When partially turning off the outer senses, the inner senses is only partly triggered, so you just have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is an experience you have while still aware of appearing to be someone in the world of the outer senses.

These glimpses can be compared to watching a movie trailer and not the whole movie – but then again, it is not really so, because both the trailer and the film is something you experience, and the enlightenment of that which is one, that is bid welcome by completely turning off the inner senses, cannot be experienced.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not a personal experience, but glimpses of it are
The technique for tasting the nectar of life (see the previous article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment) I like to do during the day – not so much for the taste of it, but for the sphere of indifference, that it just like the empty breath* induces.

Being indifferent, I am not distracted from going with the flow of the ongoing glimpses of the enlightenment, whenever I am not dealing with something that craves much attention in the world of the outer senses – and if I am involved in something that demands much attention, the indifference towards it makes sure that the perception of it is founded on glimpses of the enlightenment. In other words, the world is experienced, but not as if I am there. It is more like sitting in a cinema and imagining being in the world on the screen.

Depending on the strength of the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, it is like momentarily dying from the world of the outer senses, so if you appear to be occupied by something there, it can be very disturbing.

Glimpses of ethereal harmonies come and go as they please. In the case of Alexius, he enjoys waking up in the morning accompanied by the distant sound of ethereal harmonies, but when he at night closes his eyes to fall asleep, the ongoing spirals of light, which are brighter than the light from his lamps and keeps coming, distracts him from falling asleep. 

During the day, there are also glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, mainly in the form of short splashes of lucid light and hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises.

Besides, there are vague memories of passing both the outer and inner senses into the enlightenment of that which is one, where all thoughts and feelings collected to justify the belief in a world defined by time and space is extracted so that there is no belief to hide that which has no beginning or end and therefore is everything, namely the formlessness of oneness.

This image of the same mountain, as in the other images in this article, again shows that you can have many different glimpses to have of it and that they are all coloured by the one having the glimpses. The Enlightenment of that which is one is not coloured by the one having it, because there is not somebody having it. It is not possible to experience it, as that would require more than one. In other words, there is nothing personal about the enlightenment of that which is one. Yet, describing it via vague memories it is like everything else, where more than one seems to be involved, coloured by the personality of the describer as well by the one interpreting the description. Trying to make something last only appears to be meaningful in a world where everything has an end
Glimpses of enlightenment, which most confuses with the enlightenment of that which is one, may leave you with the impression that it is possible to fuse heaven and earth by prolonging the glimpses via meditation or other kinds of techniques that seems to make you able to transform energies in such a way that heaven and earth merge.

The idea of heaven and hell is an idea based on duality, which is founded on contrasts like that. And as you cannot have one without the other, you can never have only heaven in a world of duality. Neither in non-duality, because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be in heaven.

This idea of a better world is founded on the belief that you are someone special who is in control and can create a world like you see fit. Neither dictators, rich people, political or so-called spiritual-minded persons have ever succeeded in creating a world in the way they think it should be. But they assume it is something in themselves or others that need to be adjusted for it to happen. But no matter how much you correct, all that you get are more frustrations because there is nothing to correct but the belief that you are someone definitive.

Whether you experience, that you are free in the now, spiritual or whatnot, it is echoes of past conditioning, that you hold onto with the sole purpose of being someone special in a world defined by time and space.

Instead of having this belief undone, most, who have had one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, start teaching how to make the world better – as if there is a world to make better. They put together a new philosophy based on their interpretation of one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, mixed up with speculative ideas about spirituality and maybe ancient traditions of meditation and whatnot. They may, for example, encourage not being conditioned so that you can be free in the now. But the experience of that or anything else is based on the conditioned belief that you are someone defined by time and space.

You freely choose to give Facebook all your info in exchange for being able to construct a personality in its virtual world, as if this construction constitutes a real person.

Time and space is not a fact, but a belief system, that you blindly follow. You choose to be conditioned by it so that it seems to be a fact, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space instead of the formlessness of that which is one.

The world of the outer senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling it. But if those senses are turned inwards instead, the enlightenment of that which is one is revealed through seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it.

And then again, it is not exactly like this because the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced at all since it takes more than one to experience something.

Someone, who believes to be definable, cannot gracefully fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one. Yet someone who believes to be definable can learn how to have this belief undone.

Yet bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one is something that can be experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it. This is not the enlightenment of that which is one though but glimpses of it, which come through a hole that sometimes seems to be black and other times full of lucid. Having visual glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one can be an experience of travelling through lucid worlds with ever-changing flashes of light. When those flashes of light are not perceived to differ from each other, there is no separation to define you as someone definitive anymore.

When you play a game, you may forget where you actually are. One way to remember it is to undo the knowledge of what and where you appear to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As that means there is nobody experiencing anything, there is not someone to fight that the construction of thoughts which seem to have replaced the formlessness of that which is one with someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one is abruptly extracted by an exceptionally bright white light, that the glimpses have turned into without you being aware of it, as none of this is not happening in linear time but in one perpetual present.

In other words, everything you ever believed to be and have is gone without you knowing it or having any memory of having believed to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more because there is no experience to hide that which always has been and always will be, since it is formless and therefore endless, namely that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced
Most people, however, work against the flow of enlightenment, which is done by defining what there seems to be to see, hear, feel or taste as something similar to past experiences so that the enlightenment of that which is one is fragmented into more than one, wherefore the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is not undone.

And as the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be bid welcome without having this belief undone for just one moment, you only had glimpses of it, and therefore do not know what it is.

If you for a moment forget what and where you appear to be, there is not someone hiding the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is not of a world where there seems to be more than one, someone believing to be there cannot be enlightened. But if you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, there is not a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are not enlightened, because enlightenment is not something definitive. Yet, there are vague memories of the enlightenment of that which is one, so you are to be compared to it.

This, however, would have been the same result if the belief in being someone definitive momentarily had been undone because then there is not someone to know the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, what you believe to be can never be enlightened. Yet it is possible to momentarily forget what and where you are, so there is nothing for the enlightenment of that which is one to gracefully carry through a hole that is not there into the formlessness of that which is one.

Since what you believe to be, therefore, has not been enlightened, you appear to be the same if going back to the experience of being in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, due to vague memories of that which is one, you do not believe this experience is real. Hence you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is comparable to a movie trailer, which is just a glimpse of a whole movie, and therefore not to be confused with the whole one.

To round off, as the enlightenment of that which is one has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – has a beginning and an end. If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you seem to see an ´E´ here, you are focusing on seeing something recognisable so that you can hide the empty space by imagining there is something there. The empty space is not the formlessness of that which is one, but when you do not imagine a world defined by time and space to be there, no elements of matter are experienced to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Partial devotion to the inner senses results in glimpses of enlightenment
To experience that you are someone substantial in a world defined by time and space, constant focus on something specific is required for the outer senses to fabricate the depth needed to make the experience appear dimensional. Otherwise, the outer senses cannot build this illusion.

So the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outer senses is complemented with the abstract world of the inner senses, where you are bid welcome by glimpses of light if you are visual-minded, ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and the taste or feeling of that which is one in case you are emotional minded.*

The purpose of the inner senses and their glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is to attract you to such an extent that you cannot help yourself but have them undo the belief that it is possible to be someone definitive, even though it means the end of what you believe to be – just like a moth cannot help but to follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is gonna be the end of it.

The idea of mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example, as this will imply they are separated. Just welcome whatever glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one that seems to come your way. Never try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it changes into another aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one, go with that.

What you believe to be is a hallucination, that seems to cover the enlightenment of that which is one – also if you believe to be spiritual, because any belief requires more than one.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the enlightenment of that which is one, as it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean that the person you believe to be is replaced by the enlightenment of that which is one, but that whatever you believe to be is an illusion.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inner senses is just a side effect, that helps you not to care about physicality and its inevitable end.

The inner senses and the body
Devotion to the inner senses will heal your body if that is not the purpose of it. It may not include genetically caused diseases, though. But as devotion to the inner senses calms the body, a genetically created condition will not seem to generate fear, which otherwise may further damage the body if projected upon it (see hack #4.3 The unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection).

When, however, the body’s wellbeing is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inner senses, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inner senses since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inner senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one
Complete devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, that right away erases all memories of you being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. As you are not there anymore, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. But most of all, because the enlightenment of that which is one is not a process but one perpetual present.

At first, however, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced the experiences of you as someone definitive is not dead, so it can be rebooted and again produce these experiences. But since it takes more than one to be anything, they cannot contain the enlightenment of that which is one. So although you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, you look like you used to be.

But as soon as the enlightenment of that which is one does not seem to be a process, which in the concept of time happens in is less than a minute, the brain cannot be rebooted, and therefore not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world, wherefore there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

The appearance of you as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication constructed from thoughts, where some are chosen to be included, as if they are that which is you, and others are excluded, as if they are not you but somebody else. By not excluding specific thoughts but including them all, you become everything and you also lose the appearance of being someone specific, because there are no excluded thoughts to define you as someone definitive. In other words, inclusion excludes what is not real, so there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is you. Enlightenment of that which is one does the same, and so do the other ´ways´ suggested in my non teachings. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The appearance of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fabrication of thoughts. The ones you judge to be good are chosen to be included, and the ones regarded as bad ones to be excluded. The excluded ones produce what you consider others to be and what you are not, so if no thoughts are excluded, there is nobody to define you as separate from others. Inclusion, therefore, excludes what is not real, namely separation, so that there is not something to hide there is no more than that which is one. Bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one has the same result, and so does the implementation of the other ´ways´ of coming back to that which is one suggested in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

Is the enlightenment of that which is one required to have the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone?
The enlightenment of that which is one can be said to be the last step to the formlessness of oneness. Still, as formlessness is endless, you have never left it, so there is no step back to it, and therefore no need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one in any one of its aspects or to have glimpses of it*.

Neither do you have to be connected with the empty breath or devote yourself to the inner senses to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. It can be undone while enjoying the world of the outer senses. In the below box, there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses to not make a difference, the more the outer senses function as a set-off to that which is one (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is completeness).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #7 ´Alone together´ is the key to that which is one).

But you do not even need Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings to have this belief undone. All that is necessary is not remembering what and where you are since that means there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of that which is one.


There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that multitasking leaves them with no time to suppress anger and other feelings, that destroys the perfect image of themselves as somebody at peace, full of love and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping specific feelings hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of their contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus it is just as blissful loving somebody as to hate them. See also Love makes no difference at all.

Be aware though, that to be in the bliss of indifference, instead of the consciousness of being someone definitive, you must be willing to be nobody.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one before you give up seeing something specific. There is an abrupt shift to the enlightenment of that which is one that extracts all the info you have collected to appear as someone definitive and leave it at the edge of what seems to be a black hole so that nothing is falling through it and gracefully float into the formlessness of that which is one. You do not know how fast this is happening because you are no more and have no conscious of ever having been anybody, because there is nothing but that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted – or that you know how to find it again – which is simply is to go with the flow of fear. And yes, there is also fear in that which is one. No worries. It cannot be experienced there. That is not possible since it would require more than one. It is, however, possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be part of a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Multitasking the inner and outer senses
Much devotion to the world of the inner senses may space you out regarding the present moment in the world of the outer senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you just go with the flow of the inner senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But if you want to go on appearing as someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is, of course, best to totally focus on the world of the outer senses so that the abstractness of the inner world does not interfere with your plans for having more money, power, love, life, energy and whatnot.

However, should you become tired of the race for more, you multitask between the inner and outer senses, so that being loaded with glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses makes you indifferent to the constant demand for more in the world of the outer senses.

If you do not want the belief in being someone definitive to be abruptly undone by the enlightenment of that which is one, multitasking between the inner and outer senses could be your approach, as that allows you to have this belief undone in a pleasant pace while having a good time pretending to be what you are not.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why it is beneficial in regard to having the belief in being someone definitive undone  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outer senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath.

When you are multitasking the world of the inner and outer senses with the help of the empty breath thoughts are not considered to be yours, so nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

The empty breath automatically syncs the outer and the inner senses so that everything feels just okay. Nothing is wrong or missing. This is not the purpose of the empty breath, though. Its purpose is to undo the belief in being definitive, but this is a lot easier not fighting to survive as someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outer senses
Those not connected with the empty breath are often tempted to skip the part of having the belief in being someone specific undone and instead use their own special blend of the outer and inner senses as the means to fabricate their particular version of paradise.

The purpose of this often is to establish themselves as spiritual helpers. Still, as there only is somebody to help, when you believe in separation, your so-called compassion and help enhance the suffering that this belief entails (see the article Coming from the heart is a denial of that which is one). Besides, there is no paradise without hell since a world where there seems to be more than one can only be experienced through contrasts.

It is common to think, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Yet you do not appear as someone specific in a world where there seem to be more than one to find more, but to see there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

So instead of using the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to establish an image of yourself as a new messiah full of love and light, use them to expose the frustration coming from the belief in being someone definitive so that its unedited energy can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

The moment you have no need give or receive help or support, the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone.

As the inner senses operate on very high-frequency, speedy thoughts and feelings seem to rest there. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connection with the empty breath automatically syncs the outer and inner senses. As the latter are operating at an extremely high frequency, the wild speculations in the low-frequency world of the outer senses do not seem to cause confusion but relaxation. So the apparent differences of the world experienced with the outer senses slowly cease to make a difference. Thus the foundation for the belief in separation fades out. And so there is nobody to imagine that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you are do not feel the empty breath multitasking connects you with it.

A perfect moment turns into a state of not-knowing
Having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is a perfect moment because nothing feels wrong. As there is no sense of anything having a beginning or end, it may last longer than the concept of now, which is just a concept of something in between the past and the future. In other words, the idea of now is based on excluding the past and the future, whereas a perfect moment includes that and everything else.

When differences are not perceived to make a difference, the foundation for the belief in separation is gone. So everything outside of you is inside of you, where is nothing since without an outside, there is no inside. In other words, if you do not return from this state of not-knowing to a world where there seems to be more than one, there is nothing to hide there is no more than that which is one. Hence it makes no difference if there are thoughts about the past, the future or anything else while having glimpses of enlightenment. Actually, the most distinctive feature of a perfect moment is that the apparent differences of the world are not perceived to make a difference. Not so much because there is no judgment, but because there is nobody to judge anything since you are in a state of not-knowing.

That is why it is not before this state is over that you know when differences are not perceived to make a difference, you are not experienced to be separated, and so there is nobody to judge something as right or wrong.

Since differences are not perceived to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, nobody cares if the bliss of it should differ from one state of not-knowing to another.

Having glimpses of enlightenment, you momentarily do not believe to be someone definitive. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing. This state of not-knowing is not only induced by glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one but by the application of any other duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one, as that is not a state since it takes more than one to be in a state.

Be happy if you cannot overcome the hopelessness that seems to blow you away when not in a state of not-knowing, because when you are blown away a state of not-knowing returns.

But as nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts, nor does a state of not-knowing. Primarily because after 20 minutes, 45 minutes at the most, where the brain has not been kept active by judging differences to make a difference, it falls into a coma.

So if you want to remain as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you must leave the bliss of a perfect moment. But you must also leave it if you do not want to return as someone definitive but bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one because there is no room for bliss or anything else in that which is one.

Being alone together is based on the realisation that the power behind every experience you seem to have is you. Just like every appearance in a dream is both empowered and interpreted by the dreamer. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

Alone together**
Since the apparent differences in what is usually perceived to be a world outside of you are not perceived to make a difference when in a state of not-knowing and as that applies to whatever seems to be inside of what is typically believed to be you, inside and outside is the same – or rather there is no inside and outside or any other contrasts to define you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

You are alone together, having a fantasy about being someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one. But no matter what appears to be happening in that fantasy, you are not in it – just like within the context of this fantasy, a dreamer is not in its dream, although the dream is in the dreamer.**

You cannot know this before you have left a state of not-knowing, and memories start popping up of how blissful it is to not believe you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

There may also be memories of the transition, which can be quite claustrophobic, as there is nobody to project your troubles and sorrows on since there is nothing but the tight unit of you. But as soon as you start feeling the peace that comes from not feeling disturbed by anybody, this unit is not tight anymore. Actually, it is not there at all, because you do not believe to be someone definitive.

When the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one are not perceived to make a difference, you are not separated from what you experience to be a world outside of you. In other words, you are alone together with your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one – and since this is how you imagine having left the formlessness of oneness, you can reverse this and return to that which you never left, since formlessness is endless. As you probably read in the previous part, you got to leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon if you want to remain as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither can you stay in this state, if you do not want to return to the fantasy of being someone definitive but to the formlessness of oneness, as being in any kind of state requires more than one.

Staying true to being alone together** this is not a dilemma, because from this follows, you never have been in a world where there seems to be more than one. On the contrary, like a dreamer, within the context of such a world, you are in your own bed, which, in this context, is a metaphor for that which is one. And since oneness is formless and therefore without beginning and end, you have never left it.

When senses are not used to experience something, enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome

There are no degrees of the enlightenment of that which is one. It is not smaller or bigger than anything else because there is no more than that which is one. In other words, to talk about levels of enlightenment is an illusion in regard to the enlightenment of that which is one.

You cannot become enlightened, but you can undo the belief in being someone specific, so there is not someone definable hiding that which is you is no different from that which is one. It cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something.

However, in a world, where there seems to be more than one, there appear to be degrees and levels of everything, so in such a world you can experience glimpses of enlightenment on many levels depending on how much the outer senses are turned off.

But no matter how high the level, no glimpse come close to the enlightenment of that which is one, because there are no levels in that which is one. Yet for each glimpse, you become less definable until there is not something to hide the formlessness that is one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one does not know what it is, because it requires more than one to know something. Only in a world where there seems to be more than one is there something to be known, namely that such a world does not exist, as there is no more than that which is one.

As it takes more than one to bid welcome the enlightened of that which is one, a person in a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be enlightened. Yet a person may momentarily forget what and where it is, so there is not somebody to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. Alexius is such a person and therefore to be compared to that which is the enlightenment of one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one is happy to know nothing, as that means there is no ´I´ taking part in the silliness of being someone special in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

Those considering themselves to be somebody always wants to become more, but the enlightenment of the that which is one neither makes you more or less. It merely erases all memories of being someone at all, as there is no room for anybody – neither somebody appearing to be spiritual – in the formlessness of that which is one. In other words, the enlightenment of the that which is one is not for you, if you want to be someone definitive.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be seen, so as long as you look for something, it appears to be hidden.

Only someone who has bid the enlightenment of that which is one welcome knows that a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a hallucination. Everybody, who believe they live in such a world, has the choice of continuing to believe so or believe the message of the enlightened, which is that there is no more than that which is one and that consequently, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. Yet very few choose to believe the message of someone who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

In a world where there seems to be more than one it is a basic instinct to separate oneself from reality by fabricating a make-believe world –a child, for example, rather believes that Christmas presents are coming from Santa Claus than from its parents, although it does not seem very realistic.

The choice can be compared to a child deciding whether to believe if Santa Claus is real or not. Most want the excitement that comes from believing the merry-go-round story of Santa so they will discard the fact, that the friction coming from the speed needed to bring out presents to all the good children in one night, would kill him the very same moment he sets off.

It is a downer for children to have Santa exposed as an illusion – just like it is a downer for most persons to hear that a world, where there seems to be more than one, is not real.

Alexius has no answer to the question, who am I. An answer would be just as illusionary as the question, that implies there is more than that which is one although oneness is formless and therefore endless,.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one does not ask to be believed, but that you stop believing, a world where there seems to be more than one is real, because without hanging onto this belief there is not something to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

But if you do not give the outer senses your full attention, the inner senses will supply you with a perfect moment, where glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will fill you with so much joy, that the need to be someone at all is gone.

The way to not give the outer senses your full attention is to not believe, the experiences they deliver are real. This is done by not giving a shit about upholding the image of you as someone significant in a world, where there seems to be more than one. The more you do not give a shit, the more the inner senses take over.

If somebody seems to cheat you, reject you or something else that you judge to be unfair, you choose not to believe this to be real, and so you set yourself and others free from the world of the outer senses. It is in your own best interest to set everybody free, even though you may think that not everybody deserves to this. But setting them free, the world of the outer senses fades out, so that you can connect with the empty breath, that opens the door to the world of the inner senses, where the enlightenment of that which is one is waiting for you to bid it welcome.

A way to undo the belief in the world of the outer senses is to perceive everything there as not real but symbols of that which is – just like you, for example, perceive the written word milk not as real but a symbol of that which is.

When perceiving the whole world of the outer senses as symbols, none of its apparent differences makes a difference, because they are all symbols of the same – and so there is no foundation for separation. This perception opens the inner senses from where you can experience glimpses of enlightenment or bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

But as someone in the world of the outer senses you cannot perceive everything there as symbols, because in order to appear as someone significant there, you have excluded the parts of it, that does not fit into your chosen the image of yourself. That is unless you include this separation or accept the guidance of the empty breath, which you do by not accepting the apparent reality in the world of the outer senses.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not something you find like you find other things in the world. Enlightenment is rather that you do not try to find anything so that there is not something to hide, you are not someone definable but one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, no need not look for enlightenment, but for that which you are using to hide it. You could also just accept the guidance of the empty breath.

If from reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings you get the impression, that the inner senses are less deceptive than the outer ones, you have chosen to be deceived into believing that you can become someone better, higher or wiser via the inner senses. And if that is your purpose, they will cause you as much suffering as the outer ones.

But if your purpose is to not become anything at all, so that there is not something to hide the formlessness of that which is you, the inner senses will speed up the undoing of the belief in being someone at all.

Constantly trying to be somebody stresses you, because that turns you into a creature frozen into definable and dense appearances and that which is you is not definable, but extremely fast, formless and free flowing. In a world, where there seems to be more than one, you always need to be and have more so you can show off as someone more important than others.

If you want to be more famous than others you need lots of fans in order to prove your popularity. If you need to feel enlightened, you want others to express how wise you are, so that you can use their praise to deny your darker sides and show off as someone light and spiritual.

But you can never bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one if it is something you need because needing it implies you are without it – and how can you be without it when that which is you are no different from that which is one. Least of all can you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, if you want to use it to make you appear as someone important because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one.

You will have no more than one glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one if you use your interpretation of this glimpse to promote yourself as someone with a vision for a better future full of love or whatever you imagine will turn you into the new messiah, which has been the case with most gurus impacting the public in the last century.

When there is no need to use glimpses of enlightenment to save the world but rather to undo the belief in it, you are set free to be used by the glimpses, that will keep coming until you cannot tell them apart so that there is not something definable to experience and therefore not someone definitive to hide the formless enlightenment of that which is one.

Those who want to always be blissful in a merry-go-round world, may at first like to read about the bliss of a state of not-knowing (see the previous article The ins and outs of the inner senses). But when they realise, that bliss comes from not believing to be someone definitive, they avoid a state of not knowing by making sure to perform as if they are somebody definitive – for example by saying »I need time to open up.«

But only those who want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive needs time for something specific. Actually, they need to spend all their time with thoughts about something specific. If they do not keep the brain busy processing such thoughts for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls into a coma. In other words, unless you leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon, what you believed to be is forever gone, and so is the bliss. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding there never was and never will be anything but the formlessness of that which is one.

As this is the termination of what and where you believe to be, you only say you want it to enhance the image of being special. Hence you make sure that the groups you meet with about oneness, non-duality and enlightenment are based on established rules coming from long-time dead persons, that you can learn to use in a way that makes you appear to be right and therefore to be special.

Anyhow it does not make sense to meet in groups and talk about oneness as if that is something you want, as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. So wanting it is just as stupid as wanting your body in the world where you believe to be. You already have it.

What makes sense, though, while appearing to be someone in a specific body, is to want not to be that. And since you are not someone definitive, it is just the belief that this is what you are, which needs to be undone.

Any of The Duality Hacks except the enlightenment of that which is one will do that if this is your purpose of using them.

It is easy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings because they write themselves. Alexius just have to hit the right keys. Before doing that, however, he may have had a hard time coming to the point of for example, being able to write about dying from the world as described in the below box:

If you perceive everything, that can be experienced, as symbols of that which is life, to focus on something becomes a symbol of life. Consequently to focus on what is not real in order to make it appear as if it is, leads to defocusing, because when everything is perceived as a symbol of the same, their apparent differences do not make a difference.

Without focus the world cannot be experienced, neither you as a person in it, and so there is nothing to see. No forms appears to hide the formlessness of that which is life.

The above box summarises a very long night a long time ago, where Alexius was on the edge of dying, and where for several days after the feeling of the body was replaced by an electrified humming often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. To make long short, as someone definable, you must always be willing to die, so that there is not something definable appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

This is not meant to be understood as the body must be terminated, because that would imply it is real. It is the belief that you are someone definable, that must be undone.

Only someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one can write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Not because such a person knows what to write but what not to write, so no personality interferes with the non-teachings being written by themselves.

A body forgotten is an invitation to the enlightenment of that which is one

The enlightenment of that which is one does not illuminate anything. It is so bright that there is nothing to see. Besides it requires more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, as what is formless is endless. In other words, if you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one you do not exist, and you know it is so. Why else has everybody throughout history asked the same question: Who am I?

Through ideas of love and friendship you create the illusion, that you are someone definitive, who is part of a world with someone else especially for you.

You make yourself appear to be real by for example searching for who you are, as this implies you are someone definitive, or by working for the survival of you, or simply by doing whatever is necessary to feel part of something, so there appears to be a tangible world around you, that seems to acknowledge the existence of you as someone definitive.

It is the tension, that comes from always doing something to be acknowledged as someone tangible, which seems to hold the body together as a unit defined by time and space. But the more the body is held together the more the enlightenment of that which is one is fenced out.

The defences of the body break down when being in love and/or being loved, so even though love is just as virtual as the body, it is very helpful in order to break down the defences against the enlightenment of that which is one. It does not matter what is loved, so you can go devote yourself to sunshine, wine, a pet, a person, a god and whatnot. As long as you stick to the love, whether it seems to be returned or not, it will make the body feel good – and feel good its defences are down, so it does not fight being pushed aside in order to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not full of love
The above should not be understood as the enlightenment of that which is one is full of love. Using love to break down the barriers to the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to using a drilling machine to make in a hole in a wall. When the hole is done it is empty. The drilling machine is not there. Likewise, love is not in the enlightenment of that which is one. It is empty.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something. Only the body can be experienced, but what can be is experienced is not one and what is not one is not real.

Neither should it be understood, as you must break down all the defences of the body. It needs them to defend itself against various kinds of sickness. In terms of the enlightenment of that which is one, a healthy body is good. Not in the sense though that the body needs to be healthy for the enlightenment of that which is one to be received, as a body cannot receive it. A body has to go, and if it seems healthy, you are not occupied by saving it and therefore free to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one without any concern for the body.

Please be aware that the explanations in this article are done within the context of the world. There is, of course, no way a body can stop the enlightenment of that which is one. The body is an illusion, and illusions have no power to stop anything. The only problem is that you believe this illusion is real. It is your belief, that blocks out the enlightenment of that which is one – and only in the context of this belief does it make sense, as in the above to talk about the body and love as a solution for breaking down its defences.

Nothing can stop you on Highway One except your belief in a world where there seems to be more than one

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you may also fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as it relentlessly destroys every definable feature of what you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When the cats living with Alexius are at sleep, they sometimes move as if they are having a nightmare – at least that is what he concludes. The oneness of life may draw the same conclusion if it could sense the stress coming from those imagining to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can life see, the imaginations of those who believe that life can be divided into more than one.

Even if life could sense this fantasy in which you are someone who needs to take something from someone else to survive, it would not stop imagination, as it may be too scary to suddenly see that that what and where you believe in being is an illusion because there is no more than that which is one. Thus life tries to comfort you in your dreamworld, while it sweetly whispers: Come home.

This whisper is heard or felt as an unpronounceable humming often symbolised by the word Aum or Sohang. If this humming makes you open your eyes for just one second, you will not see the world you are dreaming about but one light much more potent than anything in the dream. The light and force of an atomic bomb is nothing compared to this light, which does not illuminate something and is neither opaque or transparent, but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so Alexius only has vague memories of it.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The enlightenment of that which is one sucks out all the thoughts stored in the brain making up the experience of you as someone definitive. They are left at the edge of a black hole, so there is nothing to fall/float through it into the formlessness of that which is one. This will, of course, seem very frightening for someone believed to have a consciousness. No worries, if you want to return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, all that is needed is to pick up the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the journey into the black hole to something. In this way, the journey becomes definable, and as that is only possible in a definable world, you appear to be back in a world defined by time and space. This, however, has to be when the enlightenment of that which is one still seems to be going on in linear time because after a minute or so in linear time it turns into one perpetual present. Then it is too late to return the experiences of a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Without further notice, this light relentlessly and most powerfully smashes every definable feature, that makes up your identity in the dream of a world, where life seems to be divided into more than one. If you do not believe, this identity is that which is you, you will not fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one.

But if you are attached to being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you fear to become formless and to prevent that you objectify the fear by justifying it as if it caused by a force that wants to destroy you, so that the fear becomes a tangible form, which seems powerful enough to smash the enlightenment of that which is one into definable pieces. In this way, the formlessness of oneness is escaped so you can appear to be someone special in a world, where their life seems to be divided into more than one.

Some claim, they out of compassion for others return to a world where there seems to be more than, but that is very egoistic. Life is the formlessness of that which is one, so a world where life seems to be divided in more than one is an illusion.

Actually, there is nothing to fear in that which is one, because it takes more than one to fear something. But imagining to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it always seems as if there is something to fear. To appear as someone definitive you must always exclude what is judged not to be you. As that is done by projecting what you dislike onto others or obscure parts of your body, you fear the retaliation from others or your body.

That which is one has no power to destroy anything, as that requires more than one.

But when not excluding anything to appear as someone great in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no reason to fear the death of being someone definitive and as nothing falling out of the dream into the reality of that which is one.

The unenlightened twists everything they hear or read about oneness andthe enlightenment of that which is one into something, that appears to make them someone special in the world instead of not someone at all.

As there is no more than that which is one and as it requires more than one to choose to wake up – or choosing anything at all – it is not possible to wake up. Nor is you reading this article or Alexius writing it. That which we are is not in the dream called the world. One could say we are dreaming about it. This, however, is not a factual explanation but a metaphor to describe that which is not real. In other words, in reality, there is no dream – just one perpetual present.

The unspeakable sound of Aum or Sohang is your ticket to Highway One
When your ear is close enough to a computer, you hear and/or feel a distant sound coming from its engine. To be that close to the computer, though, you have to stop focusing on the world empowered on its screen.

The same applies to hear or feeling the distant sound from the edge of the universe, which is often, although it cannot be spoken, symbolised by the words Aum or Sohang. In other words, you must stop focusing on the appearances in the world of duality to hear the humming from the edge of the universe, which can be compared to hearing the essence of the sound coming from a computer engine or rather the fan of it.

You can also compare the humming to transparently hearing the purring of a cat, or sensing your body vibrating like that, or like trembling of fear but without the fear of something, or shaking of coldness but more lightly and not feeling cold or anything else specifically, or feeling the effect of quickly drinking the foam of Coca-Cola which in this case is not limited to bubble or tingle in a specific part of the body or in that alone but all over.

In other words, it is not really in the body that you feel it but rather like when like, for example, when the anaesthesia a dentist has made in the mouth stops working. You feel something, but it is not as if it is the body you used to know.

This vibration is used to fabricate and uphold a world of duality – not in the sense that it has created it. The wave is an echo of that which has no beginning or end so it cannot create anything with an ending. Yet the energy of it is used to keep together the imagination of a world of duality – just like it is the energy of a dreamer that makes it possible to have a dream. It is not possible though to manifest the dreamer in the dream, and likewise, it is not possible to display non-duality in a world of duality.

The vibration that ´Aum´ and ´Sohang´ symbolises is your launching pad to non-duality.

Sometimes, while having a dream, you sense that it is too weird to be real. Likewise hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang a world of duality stops making sense. The apparent differences of it do not make a difference, and so the concept of duality slowly fades out – also the fear born out of the belief in being someone definitive. Consequently, the world no longer seems to have a grip on you, and so you are free to use the humming from the edge of the universe as a launching pad to the formlessness of non-duality.

Alexius is never sad and nobody is ever mad at him. He knows these feelings, and when they pass by he include them – and what is not excluded does not define him.

You cannot know or understand the formlessness of non-duality, because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to know or understand something. For the same reason, you cannot experience fear, sadness or anger, neither love, happiness or compassion in that which is one.

This does not mean that there is no love in that which is one. It is everywhere, but as non-duality is formless, there is no separation, so there is not something specific to experience. Neither is there someone specific to experience, that there is nothing specific to experience. It is one perpetual present.

  • Hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang, which is to hear or feel the echo of that which is one, is not a miracle cure, as everything in a world of linear time appears to take time – including having the belief in being someone definitive and that the fear it entails is an illusion.

The heart, however, needs definitions to continuously be excited about something definitive. PREFACE:
Since the bliss of nothing that sets in when connected with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, it is not possible to connect with it when in the consciousness of being someone definitive. Thus the connection must be established before the brain, based on signals it claims to receive from our sensory system, delivers a convincing experience in which we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Appearing to be someone definitive is, therefore, make-believe, no matter what and where you appear to be. Read more about empty space in the articles ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be and Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

On account of this taking one second for the brain to accomplish, there are countless seconds where a connection with the empty breath can be established by going back one second in linear time (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ). In those seconds unprocessed by the brain, there is nothing to define you and therefore no consciousness of being someone definitive, so there is no difference between the nothingness of you and that of the empty breath.

This has nothing to do with getting closer to your pure essence. You have no soul. You are nothing. Being with the empty breath, this becomes inevitably so obvious that there is not something to hide, there are no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

How to connect with the bliss of the empty breath

You connect with the empty breath by not connecting with the consciousness of you as someone definitive experiencing the tangible world that the brain spends a second to fabricate from the frequencies it imagines to receive from empty space. You can compare this to not turning on a video game because you rather want to experience the physical world – except that connecting with the empty breath is not a conscious experience but a state of not-knowing, and you have just a second to connect with it instead of the image the brain fabricate as if you are someone definitive. This is plenty of time, though, provided you are willing to not be conscious of something but be in the bliss of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath sees no separation, so it has no need to connect with you, no matter what and where you believe to be. On the other hand, you need to connect with it if you want to be indifferent to the belief in the brains conversion of empty space into a world where you seem to be someone who is separated from everything else by time and space. Forget about being conscious of the empty breath, as what you are conscious about is never the present but the past.

Having connected with the empty breath by going back one the second from your present experience to the nothingness that is unprocessed by the brain and then not picking up on the brain´s deceptive fabrication of you as someone living in a capsule of time and space, the unprocessed moment is extended into a state of not-knowing.

This state, though cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to a conscious experience of being someone definitive, because if the brain is not continuously occupied with thoughts, that seems to confirm the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, it falls into a coma.

Consequently, being in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, is the end of being something. This is because the signals the brain used to perceive to come from empty space can no longer be registered by it and processed into a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus there is not something that seems to cover up, there never was or will be anything else than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

Is it the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive, or is it the undoing of this belief that connects you with the bliss of the empty breath? Since this question arises from the belief in being someone definitive, which is an illusion fabricated by the brain, there is no answer to it, neither to who has invented this illusion or who choose to have the belief in it undone. Not that many, however, go into a state of not-knowing. If they do, they do not remain there more than a few seconds or minutes before returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive, in which they forget a state of not-knowing until blissful memories of it emerge.

How not to be deceived by the brains fabrication of the experiences where you appear to be someone definitive in a world of something and instead drift in the bliss of nothing is a question that cannot be answered, since it is founded on the belief that you are someone definitive, and the bliss of nothing comes from the indifference to that belief.

Neither can it be known if it is the empty breath or being indifferent to the belief in being someone that comes first concerning the sheer bliss of nothing. The only reason somebody wants to know this – or anything else in regard to a state of not-knowing – is that they believe to be defined by what they know and want to remain as that rather than being nobody in the bliss of not-knowing.

Thus the above about where to find the transparent bliss of nothing that the empty breath entails is not an attempt to answer the question but to rule it out. The same applies to the below, which is a further exploration of the above.

now is an illusion fabricated by the brain

You do not know what you are reading at this very moment because what you believe to read now is the brains delayed adaption of the signals it claims to have received from your eyes one second ago. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 1: IN THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Even though it only takes the brain a few milliseconds to register the signals, it has imagined that it receives from the eyes in this very moment, what you are conscious about right now is something else, because the brain needs a second more to process a conscious experience of those signals, so it can deceive you into believing they are the basis for what you experience to see now.

In other words, since your conscious experience of now is a delayed interpretation of nothing that it has taken one second ago to process, what you believe to read now you read in the past – or more to the point, you never read because one second ago there did not appear to be something to cover up nothing.

When not organising thoughts and feelings into specific categories, they do not seem to represent something in a substantial world. Hence there is nothing to block out the empty breath, that does not know of such a world or that you believe to be someone there. All it knows is the nothingness from which this fantasy has been made, because it is that nothingness.

now is a delayed interpretation of the past

The data that your experience of this image is based on, the brain claims to have received from your eyes one second ago. In other words, your experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the past fabricated by the brain to fool you into believing that you are someone definitive having your own life. Yet you have nothing of on your own, nor are you someone at all, because what you believe to be is a product of the brain made from out of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As this means you are never in the present but the past, and as it is nothing and that is where the empty breath resides, the way to connect with it is to go back one second in linear time (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), and thus not have a conscious experience of being someone in the world processed by the brain.

Since there is nobody in this state of not-knowing, there is not somebody to perceive the signals the brain claims to receive from the sensory system and processes into different experiences of substantial elements, making up a world where there seems to be more than one, to make a difference. Thus they are exposed to be a fantasy that hides they are a reflection of nothing and not of something, wherefore there are no differences that appear to separate you from the empty breath.

The experience of a dimensional world is a fabrication of the brain, which it produces by overlaying the flat signals it thinks the two eyes ireceives into one seamless image of a 3D world. See hack #2.3 Life is flat or hack #2.5 Size does not matter.

what you believe to be is the brain

The brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct a self, that through singled out memories, feelings and imaginations, makes up an exciting story about itself, stored all over the brain as if it is you. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Just five per cent of the brain is used to shape the conscious experience of ourselves as somebody defined by time and space. Much more space, though, is needed to establish this experience as real. Hence a big part of the brain is continuously occupied with thoughts about ourselves as if they are caused by a tangible world experienced to revolve around us and therefore seem to confirm, we are somebody definitive in it. See also ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

If not kept busy by making it appear, as if there is something where there is nothing, the brain falls into a coma, so you can only remain as if you are someone in the tangible world fabricated by it, if you do not float too long in the transparent bliss of nothing, that the empty breath entails.

It seems that when the brain is not kept busy with thoughts, that we believe in making ourselves about our relationship with the world (see The ins and outs of the inner senses) for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls apart. And since all the memories we have selected to back up what we believe to be are stored in the brain, this belief falls apart.

When you look for something better, a state of not-knowing is fenced off, until you are so fed up with looking for the best, the almost involuntary reflex to divide the world into better and worse is dismissed in favour for the indifference of the empty breath. Connecting with it, therefore, is not a matter of doing it right but having had enough of that.

Consequently, a state of not-knowing cannot last too long at a time if you want to return to the conscious experience of being someone. This is not a problem, though, because most leave it as soon as the uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions has ignited it (see Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ).

In the bliss of the empty breath you are indifferent to being and having more

The urge to be and have more is the cause of all suffering because more want more, so you will never be or have enough. That is not a problem, though, when connected with the empty breath, as it is indifferent to differences. Hence you always have enough. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

That is because the urge to be someone definitive is so deep-rooted that it paves the way for the brain to break through the bliss of nothing with its version of you as someone who has special relationships with something or somebody.

Since nothing appears to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, there is no special place to go or someone special to love. Thus having a need for something special, feels like being inside an unbreakable armour of pain instead of floating in the bliss of nothingness.

If not trying to escape this feeling of claustrophobia but feel that and nothing else, there is nothing to define it as something, so you are back in the bliss of nothing.

Compared to this vision of you as someone special who can choose what to be and have, the transparent bliss of nothingness seems boring because there is nobody to be excited about being and having something unique.

Love and empathy are like other feelings created by the brain, so that the experience of you as someone definitive seems to be a happy one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you go with the flow, for example to have sex with somebody, the brain rewards you by releasing dopamine to make you happy.

Like everything else, the excitement of sex does not last and, therefore, neither the shots of happiness. But if sex is replaced with empathy for your partner, the brain injects you with shots of oxytocin – also called ´the hugging hormone´ – that makes you so happy that you wish to be a family with a baby to cuddle.

Therefore, a state of not-knowing is left by imagining you are special and in charge of your life, so you can choose a spouse who acknowledges you as unique. However, it is hard work to live up to the expectations of being special, and it seldom results in the excitement you imagined. So one day, you prefer to use your frustration as a take-off to the empty breath (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), and instead float in the bliss of nothing, that arises from the indifference to the desire of being and having something special.

The bliss of the empty breath has no centre

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions – up and down, back and forth, from right to left, or anywhere in between – within its non-definable borders of a circle with no fixed centre or size (see the illustrations in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

It makes no difference to the empty breath, though, what direction you follow or how much you are connected with it. Your willingness to connect is all that it wants (see the paragraph The only requirement is a willingness in ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone). If it is there, the empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outer senses, so the sense of tranquillity in the inner ones helps you to get through the sense of turbulence in the outer ones (see What and where are the inner and outer senses).

You cannot know what is in your own best interest, because you believe to be someone in need of something. The empty breath, however, knows what you believe in being and having is not something but nothing. Thus what you need is not the excitement of something but the bliss of nothing.

This does not mean it will seem easier to get a new spouse, more money and whatnot in the world of the outer senses, but that it becomes apparent it makes no difference what you appear to be and have. That which is you is not a limited creature stuck in a capsule of time and space but the formlessness of oneness.

In the bliss of the empty breath you do not know what and where you are

In a state of not-knowing, you do not know what and where you are. No worries. It is not needed. On the contrary, it is the assumption that you know what and where you are that clouds the bliss of not-knowing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As described above, inclusiveness eventually results in a state of not-knowing (see hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is completeness). But pretending to be someone instead of believing that (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive) also does that. And so does having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #6.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can), or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), or acknowledging that the experience of such a world is something you have alone together (see hack #7 ´Alone together´ is the key to that which is one).

All the duality hacks except the enlightenment of that which is one, eventually, result in a state of not-knowing. If they differ from each other, is not to say, as there are only vague memories of not believing to be someone.

It takes time for the brain to imagine it receives something from our eyes that it can process into a coherent experience of you beeing a substantial being that sees elements of matter outside of yourself.

The brain of a baby does not know how to do this. But in order to incorporate the baby´s experiences into the collective agreed way of seeing the world, the brain quickly learns how to produce a coherent right-side-up image of the world, so it seems the baby shares its experience of the world with everybody else.

The brain deceives you to fence off the bliss of the empty breath

When the brain every now and then screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the movement of your eyes, it fills the gaps based on past memories. But as they most often have been heavily edited, the story fabricated by the brain to fill in the gaps may clash with the story of the present that others have. The discrepancy, therefore, makes you feel that something is wrong with you or the world. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 2: IN THE WORLD OF SOMETHING
You are probably not aware that every now and then throughout the day, you are literally blind. This is because the brain screens out what you see to prevent you from getting seasick when the eyes move. You do not notice that you are blind two hours a day because the brain hides this by filling the gaps with visual impressions of what it imagines to be there.

In the first episodes of a new TV show, there are normally hints pointing to the forthcoming episodes, and since the brain thrives from envisaging what is going to happen next, it is captured into anticipating the future of the characters and thus enchanted by its own predictions into a state of amusement.

The writers of Game of Thrones try to hook you up and fence of the bliss of the empty breath

The writers of ´Game of Thrones´ want us to bond emotionally with the characters, so that we feel attracted to them as if they are real and not just a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But if the writers of the show do not comply with their own hints when inventing the next episodes, the future of the characters does not turn out as predicted by the brain. Thus the fate of the characters becomes a mystery, that the brain hopes to unravel in the following episodes, wherefore it compels you to stick with the show until the very end. In other words, it is not you but the brain that is in charge.

The predictions fabricated by the brain to fill the gaps of blindness are basically a remix of memories that have been adjusted every time recalled to boost the story of you as someone in a tangible world, so it may not match how others see the same events.

Hence, you conclude that something is wrong in your story or in that of others, and you start trying to correct what is judged to be incorrect.

There is nobody in the bliss of the empty breath

You do not read this article, but what your brain predicts that you want to read. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The more you appear to be successful in this, the more it seems that the story can be shaped so that it comes out with a better version of you. Yet, no matter how the story is corrected, it remains a fantasy, and so does the idea that it has an author.

Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, a dream does not have an author or anything substantial in it, neither the dreamer. And it is not in the dreamer or anywhere else. It is a deception made to look as if nothing is something.

Fortunately, the brain cannot make the empty breath look like something, so when we are in its bliss of nothing, we are not deceived by the experiences produced by the brain to perceive them as something.

How many triangles are there in this image?
The brain automatically fills in the missing pieces in this image to make you see two triangles. Thus you probably do not agree that the grey triangle is an illusion and the one partly framed by a black stroke is disconnected. But if you cover the three incomplete black circles, the grey triangle disappears and the other one appears fragmented.

Since it is the brain not only decides what we see but also what we hear, feel, smell and taste, we are not free, but something fabricated and controlled by the brain into believing, we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and not the formlessness of that which is one.

Consequently, there is nothing to heal but the sick belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which automatically happens when connecting with the empty breath that takes us back one second in linear time to the nothingness from where the brain has rendered your present experience of something.

This does not mean, that the empty breath is the formlessness of that which is one because it takes more than one to be something, but that it metaphorically speaking is the door to that which is one.

In the bliss of the empty breath the belief in duality is undone

In a state of not-knowing, the brain cannot establish the everyday consciousness of you as someone definitive. This does not mean, though, that the awareness of you as someone definitive is replaced by something better, higher or purer but by no consciousness. Thus there is nobody to be aware of the bliss that comes from not believing to be someone. That is why it is like walking in the air. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 3: WHEN APPARENTLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES ARE NOT PERCEIVED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In a state of not-knowing, you are blind in a sense that there is no conscious experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thankfully this is resolved by the empty breath and not the brain. It continues to process what it claims to receive from senses as if it is something and not nothing. Still, since the empty breath is indifferent to the apparently different experiences of something, there is no awareness in the connectedness with the empty breath of how the brain categorises them in contrasts of, for example good or bad, right or wrong, love or hate, within and without and so on.

Though a world where there seems to be more than one is seen in the usual way when in a state of not-knowing, its apparent differences are not believed to make a difference. Thus there is no experience of being someone definitive and therefore nobody to be happy, sad or anything else.

This does not mean that there are no feelings. but that nobody relate them to them as if they make a difference.

Consequently, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be judged to make a difference. Thus there is nothing special to love or hate and, therefore, nothing specific to worry about.

The bliss of the empty breath is the bliss of nothing

When the body, that you appear to be living in, again and again drops something, you could be defined as clumsy. If you believe this and feel guilty about it, you might want to change it.

But as every effort to improve yourself is based on the belief, that there is something wrong with you, your efforts are not changing this belief but enhancing it. You secretly accept this, because even though you do not like to be defined as clumsy, it is preferable to not being defined, because that means you are nobody.

Yet being nobody, there is not somebody to be clumsy or something else. There is just the bliss of nothing.

The bliss of the empty breath is not the end station

A state of not-knowing is not the terminus but a way to see that there is no end and that everything which appears to have it is an illusion because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware that the connectedness with the empty breath is not similar to being connected with that which is one. The latter is not possible because it takes more than one to be connected with something.

The connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath is simply a way to overlook the apparently different experiences fabricated by the brain so that they are not judged to make a difference, and a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, does not appear to establish the belief in separation.

Going with the flow of the empty breath is just as easy as going with the flow of sex. The latter though does not result in the undoing of the belief, that you are someone definitive, unless the orgasm is used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In the sense that no thinking is needed, following the flow of the empty breath is no different from following the flow of the genitals. The result of the latter though is the enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it.

This is not to say though, that sex should be avoided (see Holding back to not ejaculate is just another physical manifestation – but without the physical thrill of it), because the exclusion of sex or anything else adds to the definition of you as someone definitive. Actually, an orgasm can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you do not hold back, but are nothing else than that.

Despite the connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath, eventually undoes the belief in separation, it also enhances it because it requires more than one to be connected with something.

The problems, you perceive to have, do not come from the world where you appear to be, but from the belief that you are someone there. Hence the solution to all the problems is the same, namely the undoing of that belief.

The same applies to let go of the connectedness with the empty breath or something else. Therefore, to not enhance but have the belief in separation undone, you do not choose to connect with the empty breath or anything else. Hence you are connected with nothing and thus in the flow of the empty breath.

How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ (draft)

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness, provided there is a willingness to forget what you believe to be. The image is grabbed from the web.

If not perceiving what you read to be special, it cannot define you as unique. Thus there is not something special to obscure the bliss of nothing.

As soon as you have had enough of the frustration coming from the perception in being special and you do not try to edit or transform your feeling of desperation, the raw energy of it automatically ignites a take-off to the empty breath. Since it is nothing and your current experience of something is processed by the brain from what it did imagine to receive from a gap in nothing one second ago (read more about that here), the take-off to the empty breath only takes one second.

In other words, when you connect with the empty breath, you go one second back in linear time to the nothingness that is unprocessed into something by the brain.  From there, the brains rendering of nothing into a world of something looks the same, but it is not perceived to be something and therefore not confirming you to be someone. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing.

Every time you believe in fighting something, it is to prevent being nothing.

In linear time, it may take a few more seconds, or many years, before there is nothing but the bliss of emptiness because out of reflex you probably try to force the breath through the tensions in the body, instead of going with the flow of the empty breath. It may feel as if you are fighting with the empty breath about how to breathe.

This fight, however, is solely between what you perceive to be you and an intruder because the empty breath is not intruding you. That is not possible. It does not see you as someone made of solid elements, but of emptiness just like itself. So when you stop fighting nothing, the empty breath goes through the tensions, caused by the thoughts and feelings you have excluded from your awareness by hiding them in the body, as they are nothing.

To get to this point, you must be willing to not stop the breath from going through the painful areas of the body. In this process, you may use professional healthcare services to relieve the body from spasms and headaches, for example, as the empty breath is not healing it – only the belief that there is someone in it.

What you believe in being is nothing twisted by the brain into someone experiencing something. In the presence of the empty breath, which is nothing that has not been processed into something, you become indifferent to the experience of something and thus of being someone. Having passed the apparent physical and emotional obstacles, you turn into nobody. It may at first feel like the empty breath sets off from an engine in the abdomen as if it is an inner breath that in a slow fashion pumps air from there to extract the body (read more about that here), whereafter it returns to the engine which seems to take its time before it pumps it out again without any concept of being inside and outside of a body.

Despite that this is nothing which extracts and contracts nothing, it is in a world where everything is experienced as something also experienced to be that. It might be experienced as if you having fun surfing yin-yang like waves in the rhythmic flow of the empty breath, or being everywhere and nowhere in the sound of it, or joyfully moving with the swing of it, or being still in the abstractness behind its rhythmic flow. Although it may have been unedited speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, it is not a speedy or chaotic affair being connected, but like you weightlessly walk on clouds. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although it was the speed that ignited the take-off and it must be maintained to keep you in the air, it is not the speed you feel but a laid-back experience of being in the clouds.

Regarding speed, whether connected with the empty breath or not, we are always moving extremely fast because the Earth and thus us as well is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, if at the equator and a little less when north and south of it, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. Having a static perception of ourselves, however, we do not feel the thrill of this but having a perception in sync with the brain (read more about that here), we feel it and can use it to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

However, the ways described in this article and the other ones in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing are generally not geared for the basic but special self. That is because most are drawn in by the excitement they imagine to get from being special, rather than the pure happiness, they automatically receive when being basic, because the latter will not make them essential in a world where being special, bitchy and having something extraordinary is the standard. If not focused but defocused, all the elements used to construct what you believe to be blur out. Hence they do not seem to be something, and you, therefore, not different from the nothingness where the empty breath resides. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

So although being special brings about stress and being basic results in relaxation, almost everybody does their best to establish themselves as somebody special in a mundane or so-called spiritual way. Thus hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is mostly about using stress and speedy thoughts as a take-off to the empty breath. In regard to the basic self, it is not the stress of being somebody but the relaxation of being nobody, that ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

Let us imagine, you have covered your eyes by your hand, so you can indulge in daydreaming without being disturbed by the world outside of you. Though it feels great to have a fantasy of a better world, it also feels strange to be cut off from the actual world.

So when you want to see the world as it is and not as you imagine it could be, and you sense it is your own hand that stops you from doing so, you automatically remove it. Hence it is the built-up frustration and the realisation it is caused by your own hand, that makes you take it away so you can see the world as it is.

Having had enough of something ignites a take-off to the empty breath and the bliss of nothing
The process in the above box, generally speaking, resembles the way a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. The perception of the experiences you seem to have is believed to establish you as special and therefore to hide that it is a fantasy made from nothing.

This perception, which is to be compared to the hand in the above box, is made from selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary (read more about that here), that you share with like-minded ones to confirm each other as being special and not just a fantasy of the brain. You may not only sense the bare feet that have made the footprints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no feet or entity in the image, and nobody makes footprints like those. When you have had enough of the confusion that comes from this perception, you loosen the grip on the selected thoughts, making it up. Thus you start to see that being special is a daydream. When you are fed up by that, your frustration ignites a take-off to the empty breath. In the connectedness with its nothingness, there is not somebody to perceive that what you experience makes you special or anything at all. This does not mean that you disappear but that you are not attributed with a specific meaning.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive because it resides in the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. Hence you do not  notice it when you want to experience something.

Since this is a state of not-knowing, there is no awareness of the bliss that nothing entails when not disguised as something. But memories of it pop up when you return to the conscious experience of being someone, which you must do latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing, if you want to be able to go on as someone substantial in a tangible world. When returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone definitive, the slate has been wiped clean, so even though it feels like you just had a unique experience, you are nothing special. Instead, you are the basic self you always were supposed to be. Being that you are happy.

And this happiness does not come from what you experience to be and have but from being in sync with the brain (see hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one), there is no need to perceive any experiences as something special. Thus they seem so unimportant, that, every now and then, there does not appear to be something to hide the bliss of nothing. In other words, you automatically and very quickly go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone. See To be nobody and yet somebody.

The connectedness with the empty breath does not come from meditating, chanting or any other technique of self-control, because control enhances the belief in being someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Being a basic self is an after-effect of a state of not-knowing that may last from a few seconds to many years (read more about that here). Often though it is hastily overridden by the desire to be and have something special. No worries. The confusing energy that this entails is so powerful that it ignites a take-off to the empty breath, provided you are willing to not try to fence off the frustration by denying or indulging in sex or anything else.

In other words, when you are totally fed up with being controlled by the thoughts and feelings, you have sought out yourself to form a belief system of how to be special, you automatically leave it. Not in the sense that you give up, let be or surrender because that is based on being special. But in the sense that the unedited frustration ignites a take-off to the empty breath and in its nothingness there is not something to define you as special anymore.

Be aware, though, that you will never know how to connect with the empty breath. It is not something but nothing, and you cannot know how to connect with nothing. But if you forget what and where you appear to be, you do not need to connect because then there does not appear to be something hiding that you are nothing.

You feel stressed from perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference (in the process of being updated)

It is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that you can search for the meaning of life. Yet it is not to be found there or anywhere else, because it takes more than one to find something and life is that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The way that letters are put together in various configurations makes it possible for us to attribute a special meaning to each of the shapes. And when they are organised in rows divided by dots and commas, like in this article, they seem to make up a story written by somebody else than ourselves, and thus to confirm we are somebody in a world where there are more than one. But since the story that seems to prove this is pieced together of shapes attributed a meaning by ourselves, the story is made by ourselves and, therefore, does not prove there are more than that which is one.

Reality is that which is one, and since it takes more than one to experience something, it cannot be experienced.

Let us imagine, that the letters making up the shapes we believe in establishing us as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one are the same letters making up that which is one. Unlike in the world where we believe to be and where everything is experienced to be separated by time and space, there is no space to keep anything apart in that which is, since that requires more than one.

Hence the letters, that oneness consists of cannot be distinguished from each other, and therefore not organised into shapes, that added together in specific ways seem to establish a story of us as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, oneness is formless.

In oneness, everything is fused into one perpetual present, which no one can see because it takes time to see something. Hence, it is only in a world defined by time and space, there is something to behold. What you see, however, is not there. A world defined by time and space is a slowed-down version of the formlessness of oneness
It is not only because there is no space to separate the letters making up that which is one, that they cannot be differentiated from each other, but also because they move so fast that time stands still (read more about that here). Hence it is not possible to organise them in a linear way – or any other way for that matter.

In the context of our story about a world where there seems to be more than one versus that which is one, you could say, a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy of what oneness would look like if it could be slowed down. The more oneness is imagined to be slowed down, the more space there seems to be between the otherwise shapeless letters in that which is one, wherefore they appear to be separated from each other and have a definitive shape of their own.

Furthermore, there seems to be time to arrange the separated shapes in different combinations attributed with each their own meaning, so not only space but also time establishes separation as real and thus that which is one as unreal.

The slowing down of oneness is, therefore, an attempt to turn formlessness into thoughts representing specific shapes that seem to be something you can manipulate to your liking in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Hence the way back to oneness does not come from stopping the speed of thoughts via meditation or something else that makes you appear to be in control of the thoughts making up your particular shape, so you seem to be at rest and unmoved by the speed of the Earth that is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. Neither is the way back revealed by understanding this or anything else, as to understand something requires more than one and, therefore, enhances the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

No matter if something is experienced to be inside or outside, it is make-believe, because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of oneness and formlessness has no sides.

A journey without distance takes no time
It is not a fact but make-believe that what and where you appear to be is real. It all falls apart if not attributing meaning to the letters in this article or anything else that seems to be part of the story of what and where you are because when shapes make no sense, there is nothing to separate them and thus no time and space.

Since there is no more than oneness, nobody has ever left it. Hence the way back takes no time.

The fastest way to not attribute meaning to something experienced to be there, is, of course, to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #6.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one). It promptly and relentlessly erases every definable detail of whatever you remember to have experienced so there are no memories from where an image of you as someone definitive can be recalled and thus nobody to experience a world where there seems to be more than one.

Should you not want to go that fast but have the belief in being someone definitive undone over time, you can connect with the empty breath (read more about that here). It undoes this belief gradually, so you are able to enjoy the excitement of it while slowly but surely having it undone.

The reason for this is that the empty breath does not erase the memories of you as someone in a world of something. But since it resides in the nothingness from where the brain has made the experiences that are stored as your memories, it knows they are nothing. Thus your past does not establish what and where you believe to be now as something.

So though you appear to be somebody in a world of something, it is perceived as nothing the more you are connected with the empty breath –  just like within the context of the world of something, you are are not perceived as real when you appear to be someone in the virtual world of a video game (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

The source of life cannot create anything, as it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to create something. For the same reason, it cannot be found. Nothing needs to be done when not perceived as something
The change of size and weight from hefty to almost nothing – for example vinyl to CD to MP3 to streaming, and computer to smartphones to wearables – is a reminder, that reality is sizeless as it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to take up space. For the same reason, oneness, cannot be found in a world defined by time and space. Nothing in such a world or any other kind of world can bring you back to it, except the undoing of the belief that you are there.

That is the purpose of the empty breath as well as the other duality hacks. This they do not achieve by revealing the formlessness of oneness, as it takes more than one to do so. Besides, oneness does not need to be revealed, because it is formless and therefore endless, so there is nothing else.

What needs to be revealed is that what you believe to be is nothing that through your perception of it as something seems to hide the formlessness of oneness. Just like it is your perception of what you experience to be in a dream that makes you appear to be there, although you are at sleep in your bed.

This perception is what the empty breath corrects without you having to leave the dream. So with the empty breath by your side, you do not need to stop or change anything to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone and at the same time having fun experiencing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

APPENDIX:
Some claim the amount of info coming from digital media is stressing. But that is most likely because they want to uphold a particular image of the world, and therefore need to sort it into what is adaptable and not. Since this requires you to keep a distance to the nonadaptable, you must remember the thoughts making it up. But as you also need to remember the thoughts that are adaptable, there are many thoughts to keep track of. That is what feels stressing and not the amount of info.

Fortunately, the more stressed you seem to be, the faster its disappears if you do not try to slow down the pace of it but use it to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Read more about that here.

Notes on perceptions, Part 1 [draft]

Notes on perceptions is an appendix to You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 1-4.

When you perceive your reaction to any experience as ´it is what it is,´ you are in sync with the brain’s script. But if you start to analyse your response and conclude, ´I know what it is,´ you are out of sync with the script because you do not know what it is. Read about the brain’s script in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no meaning to be found in your experiences, nor are they yours. This is an illusion created by the brain, which generates all experiences to make the self it has fabricated believe that it sees, hears, feels and tastes something outside of itself. It is easy to deceive the self into believing it experiences something outside of itself because if not, there is nothing to confirm its existence.

The experiences you believe in having will continue as scripted by the brain, regardless of how you perceive them. But since the brain injects you with shots of happiness for supporting it with a perception aligned with its script, it is in your own best interest to be in sync with the brain as long as you partake in its game of being somebody.

If you do not mind being nobody, you perceive the experiences it produces as ´dunno what it is.´ Hence you enter into a state of not-knowing and its bliss of nothing. This does not mean that the brain’s script changes but that you are indifferent to it because there is no need to be confirmed as somebody.

You do not have to use the exact same words for the perceptions mentioned in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end to participate in the game of duality, deny it, take a break, or totally forget it. Instead of saying ´it is what it is,´ you could say ´shit happens,´ or ´so what.´. As long as the essence is alike, they work the same. That being said, the perception ´I know what it is´ only works in the sense that it makes you feel special. You are still what and where the brain wants you to be, which you do not try to change when you go with the perception, ´it is what it is

Choosing the perception ´dunno what it is,´ you leave the brain´s script behind. Not in a sense that you are not what and where the brain has planned, but you do not perceive your experience of it as something since you are in the bliss of nothing.

To uphold the perception ´I know what it is,´ you got to suppress your actual response to an experience. The two other perceptions do not involve denial. On the contrary, your response to something cannot be perceived as ´it is what it is´ or ´dunno what it is´ if you deny it. The perception ´I know what it is´ never works as intended because you are not all-seeing and knowing.

And the two other perceptions do not work if your intention is to get something over and done with. However, this can be solved by perceiving the response to your plan as ´it is what it is.´ That flushes out any idea of achieving something specific. If your response is perceived as ´dunno what it is,´ there is not something to accomplish because you are in the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Feeling wrong is our own decision because our emotions are shaped by how we perceive our reaction to an experience. But if you decide not to perceive your reaction as specific, the brain automatically takes over and perceives it as ´it is what it is.´ And since the brain operates in pairs, your reaction is twofold. Therefore, as sadness is paired with happiness, you are never sad but happy/sad. This polarity, like any other, makes you feel complete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Do not hide your reaction to something by making a story in which you are unimpressed or detached. Instead, feel your response, so you can decide what it means and perceive that as ´it is what is.´ This expands the interpretation of your reaction, so it is not limited to you being angry, for example, but complemented with being calm. Since twofoldness makes you feel fulfilled, you have no urge to uphold a single-minded image of yourself. Thus, sooner or later, you forget what and where you are, which is the invitation the enlightenment of that which is one has been waiting for. If you believe you suffer because of something, you are mistaken. You suffer because you have perceived your reaction to something, so it makes you feel bad. This is immediately corrected when you perceive feeling bad as ´it is what it is

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When your reaction to something is sadness, and it is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ you also get gladness. First of all, because everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, but also because if something has not made you happy at some point, it cannot make you sad. For example, when your cat dies, your sadness is related to the many years of gladness you had when it was alive.

Should you, instead, make the perception ´I know what it is,´ when your cat dies and what you believe to know is that this makes you sad, you must exclude gladness to prove you are only sad. But without gladness, sadness cannot be defined. Therefore, what you believe in knowing that you feel is a thought up idea of sadness. Thus you do not feel sad but fake.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If noisy music from the neighbour makes you feel troubled, it is not because of the music but your specific perception of your reaction to it. If your reaction, instead, is perceived as ´it is what it is´ it turns out to be twofold. Hence you feel disturbed as well as stimulated. This interchange of opposites is the duality flow. The stories that you make in which you appear to know everything, sooner or later clash with the actual experiences of the world where you appear to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Just like the twofoldness of breathing in and out makes you feel alive, you feel fulfilled when psychological pairs of duality, such as love and hate, dynamically interact with each other. However, this interaction takes away the sense of control. Thus most separate hate from love by projecting a romanticised version of love on somebody and hatred on somebody else or a vulnerable part of their own body. Insisting on this division, they miss the joy of togetherness because it does not come from a singular but dualistic feeling.

They get the joy of closeness when what they have decided to be the meaning of hatred is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ because that undo the separation of love and hate. For example, if they have classified hate as weakness, this perception reveals it is paired with strength. Since this polarity, like any other, brings about the relaxation of duality, they may not notice this change. But, for sure, they observe there is no need to hold onto a pretty image of love outside of themselves by hiding hatred in your body.

This sets others free from your romanticised projections of love. And your body stops defending itself against your attacks of hate. Therefore the body parts you have kept tight to hide specific feelings of hatred there are healed by the dynamic interaction of love and hate. 

If those parts are in pain from physical illness as well, they must be attended to materially. Perhaps with the help of a health care professional. However, when the body is not occupied by fending off your psychological issues, it is often capable of being restored by the biological system governed by the brain. That is why physical illness starts with withdrawing the non-physical matters you have projecting onto it. Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings are written within the apparent reality of duality. They do not claim to be non-dual or know what it is since that requires more than one. But they claim to know what is not non-duality, namely everything experienced, because it takes more than one to be aware of something.

Everything in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is fictitious. There is no similarity to reality because that is non-dual, and it takes more than one to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. However, since they do not claim to be real, you are exposed as unreal when reading them. Hence, the more you do that, the less there is someone to judge these words to differs from the reader, wherefore there is no duality to hide reality is non-dual

You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 4 [draft]

It is not only Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings that talks about the body being used to hide repressed emotions. In Bioenergetics (see Wikipedia about that), it is the theory that you store negative experiences in the body, which, therefore, is altered. Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings says that it may seem so, but physiology and psychology do not mix, so the connection is imagined (see hack #4.3 The unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection). The way to undo this fantasy, and thus issues believed to be psychosomatic, is to follow the duality flow described in this article or elsewhere in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality. This is part 4 of You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it. Like the previous parts, it is about the perception ´it is what it is,´ that brings you into the duality flow. It is so vitalising that you, eventually, forget to define yourself as someone in a world of duality.

You must play the game of duality to have it undone

Since all perceptions are twofold in a world of duality, a singular perception, such as falling in love, is fake. That is why you feel disconnected when you hold onto such a singular impression. Your reaction to your attraction must be dual if you want to feel connected in a world of duality. So if you by habit perceive your reaction to something in a singular way, you undo the resulting disconnection by perceiving your fixed opinion about it as ´it is what it is

Then, in a state of expectation calling for nothing specific, your singular response turns inside out and unveils the opposite feeling inside it. In this case, love gently opens and out of it comes hatred. But just like breathing in and out does not happen simultaneously, you do not feel love and hate at the same time. The love you feel is defined by hate, which is determined by love. Hence there is no true love without hatred and vice versa. Should you, out of habit, try to suppress hate so you can hold onto a specific memory of love, it may take a day or two to remember that love and hate are coupled.

If you physically and/or mentally have pumped up your appearance with anger justified by perceived injustice, the way to set yourself free from the stiffness in your body, that you use to maintains the magnified image of you, is not to do something about your rigid body but perceive your reaction to it as ´it is what it is.´ Since this reveals it is twofold, there is not a specific reaction to maintains your glorious image.

This reveals hardness is complemented with weakness, wherefore the idea of being great no longer is written in stone. Since it also reveals that being special is paired with a sense of nothingness, you cannot help but laugh.

You may not observe that love turns into its counterpart hate, just like you may not notice breathing in is repaced by breathing out. Yet it happens anyway. In other words, you probably need time to acknowledge the constant movement between the opposing poles of duality – in this case, love and hate. And you most likely need more time before you sense the duality flow, like rolling waves without highs and lows, move throughout your body (read more about that in Notes on the duality flow). Nevertheless, since the perception ´it is what it is´ syncs you with the duality, you immediately feel connected.

When you perceive an experience as it ´is what it is,´ you suppress your reaction to it, wherefore the perception results in denial instead of acceptance.

That something is ugly is not a fact but the way you have decided to perceive it. This singular Interpretation prevents you from seeing it as it is because everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But this perception does not make you feel connected if you assume your response to an experience is the same as the experience. For example, when you see a picture of your hometown and mistake your nostalgic reaction to your past for the image, you will use the perception ´it is what it is´ to hide this mix-up, so nostalgia is not your reaction but what the image is. In other words, you use this perception to suppress your nostalgic response, so you can appear neutral. But nothing is middle-of-road. Everything is two-fold in a world of duality. Therefore, as your perceived neutrality distorts duality, you feel incomplete.

To hide this, you always avoid situations that could initiate concealed emotions of shortcomings. If, despite that, a repressed sense of failing manages to enter your consciousness, you quickly rise above it by working, shopping or meditating a lot. Another way is to blame somebody for making you feel imperfect or hide this feeling in a psychosomatic disorder like vertigo. If feeling sad is not complemented with being glad, sadness seems heavy and sticky. The resulting heartache many try to reduce or exclude by positive thinking. But the elimination of negativity makes you feel incomplete.

When you are willing to accept that everything is coupled with its counterpart in a world of duality, sadness is automatically complemented with gladness. Soom thereafter this polarity is automatically replaced by another one. This interplay of opposites is what makes you feel complete when you appear to be in a world of suality.

You are better off, though, if you do not prevent suppressed feelings from popping up. This is because everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality, so if feeling sad is not covered up, it paves the way for gladness. In other words, the more a feeling is acknowledged, the more its opposite side is revealed. And since you are in a world of duality, the experience of twofoldness makes you feel complete, whereas the experiences of singularity make you feel incomplete.

It is like taking a ride on a rollercoaster. If you only go up or down, the trip is disappointing, whereas the interaction of up and down makes you feel fulfilled. In other words, when you accept the constant interaction between feeling up and down, you laugh when you feel on top without blowing yourself up, so you do not fall down. And you cry when you feel low without being afraid of being stuck there. Thus you have a splendid time in a world of duality regardless of feeling up or down.

When your opinion of the interaction with somebody is that you did the right thing, you cannot see the relationship as it is before your definitive opinion is perceived as ´it is what it is.´That reveals this judgment, like anything else you decide to see in a specific way, is dual. Hence there is not something specific to prevent you from seeing the relationship as it is.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If your body aches somewhere and you decide that this is the reason that you are worried, you cannot deal with the bodily problem in a physical way before your anxiety is perceived as ´it is what it is.´ This reveals that your anxiety, like any other psychological issue, is twofold. Hence there is not a specific psychological issue to prevent you from seeing the bodily problem as it is or require help from somebody who is trained in the physical realm.

All in all, it is not your experience of something that you perceive as ´it is what it is´ to feel the completeness of twofoldness. Instead, it is the specific response you decide to have to your experience of something. However, since the purpose of your particular reaction to something is to hide you feel victimised, it may take a while before you notice that you, by reflex, always choose not to have a two-fold response to an experience but a predefined single-minded one made to convince others that you have the power to do things in your own way and pace.

Yet, we are all subject to the law of duality that everything comes in pairs. Consequently, nobody has a definitive way to go, nor are anybody specifically let down like many people conclude based on their self-styled inflexible interpretations of events. Let us take a closer look at how to undo this stubborn single-mindedness.

Contrasts are the way of duality. So if something is interpreted as beautiful, you, eventually, deem something to be ugly. Going with this flow of polarity, you feel complete. If your response to having been rejected is interpreted as sadness, and you acknowledge this specific interpretation, it can be perceived as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals it is not one-sided but twofold. Thus sadness does not settle into definite grief but gently opens up and shows gladness inside it.

In other words, when the definitive meaning you have assigned to a response is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ it is complemented by its opposite. Hence your reaction does not entail loneliness but togetherness. This twofoldness occurs as automatic as breathing in is followed by breathing out – and it feels as satisfying. Accepting one polarity, it is soon replaced by another one. And since you, therefore, are in the flow of duality, you feel satisfied.

This satisfaction does not come from something specific but the interaction of opposing elements like up and down, which feels like the fulfilment you get from listening to the ocean waves. Since the satisfaction of this interplay goes on when you are in the duality flow, there is no need to look for something specific to give you a peak experience. That is such relief.

However, if you slightly think you have your own way, the duality flow is not revealed immediately but over time. Thus the sense of being alone, which comes from doing things in your way and pace, is not cancelled out right away.

Had you not perceived the definitive meaning you assigned to your response as ´it is what it is,´ but made up a story that enhances it, so you appear to be sad in the way heartache is supposed to show, your sadness is fake. Your genuine feeling is buried in your story.

Therefore, since you do not experience the interaction of sadness and gladness, you do not get the satisfaction of twofoldness but the dissatisfaction of disguising it. Most tries to cut off this disappointment from their awareness by hiding it behind a physical problem in the chest, for example. So when a psychological problem in the future triggers hidden dissatisfaction, the resulting feeling of unease in the chest is interpreted as a physical issue. Hence the past discontent remains hidden from their awareness. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection.

There are, of course, instances where you feel relieved when someone leaves you, wherefore you want to extend that specific feeling. Hence you combine it with a sensitive part of the body like the chest. Thereupon you assume any physical sensation in the chest is caused by a psychological feeling, namely the sense of being relieved. But since relief is defined by pain and it has been suppressed to feel specifically relieved, this is not what you feel. Read more about that in Those looking for peace are full of shit.

You got to have judge something as inharmonious to know when you experience harmony. But as most people thereafter exclude the inharmonious, there is not something to define a harmonious experience. Consequently, all they get is an intellectual idea about being in balance.

When you think of what is going on and what your friends believe that means, it seems like a feeling is brought to mind. Especially if you spin a story about it, which you tell in a severe tone of voice enhanced by body language, that implies you feel this. Women often use this trick to appear as if they feel something specific, although their emotions are suppressed. Most men, on the other hand, think it is great having their feelings cut off. What you believe in feeling is an intellectual construction that resembles being relieved when you put on a sad face and tell others about something unpleasant, whereafter you put on a smile because you have been freed from it. A phrase from a song can also be beneficial to create this impression of relief. If the conjured image of relief convinces others that you honestly feel that, you believe in genuinely feeling relieved. However, what you appear to feel is, just like the powers superheroes seem to have, totally fictitious.

To sum up, when your reaction to something is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ it is not limited to be a single-minded interpretation like shyness. Instead, you also get its contrast, confidence, so those contrasting feelings can define each other and, therefore, be established as genuine emotions.

Being amused by this potency, you go with the flow of duality. Hence the polarity of shyness and confidence soon is replaced by another enjoyable pair of duality. And so it goes until you feel so euphoric in the duality flow that you have no need for more, wherefore the belief in being and having more than that which is one is undone.

That is why you should not use the perception ´it is what it is´ if you do not want that belief to be undone. In this case, you are better off with the perception ´I know what it is.´ To make it work, though, you got to ignore the counterpart of what you claim to know. So, for example, if you want to appear as if you know the way, you must hide feeling lost from your attitude of knowing where to go.

But doing that, it feels as something is lost. And no matter where you look, you do not find it because you keep insisting, ´I know what it is.´ Hence you are on an endless quest for something to make you feel complete. However, in a world of duality, completes comes from twofoldness.

What you believe to be, only exist in the impression you imagine to have on the world outyside of you. And it only seems real because of what you imagine it does to you.

If you do not make a perception yourself, one that reveals this twofoldness is automatically created. Should you be too accustomed to doing things your way, you can even make a perception yourself that aligns you with duality. For example, when you choose to perceive your reaction to what you read now as ´it is what it is,´ it is revealed to be twofold. You may not catch the names making up this polarity because their interaction makes you feel so complete that you do not care about such details.

This, of course, only applies as long as you believe to be someone in a world of duality. In non-duality, it is impossible to be complete because it requires more than one to be something, and oneness is undivided.


*) This is not to say that you never need to think ahead to get something done. But that thoughts regarding that come to you automatically when you are in the flow of duality.

´What if…?´ versus ´it is what it is´

You need to be fully anchored in the belief that you are someone in a world of duality if you want to undo this belief – just like you need to play a game to finish it.

Hence we continue part 2 of You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it in the context of duality. In such a world, psychological and physical issues do not combine. So if you conclude, your worries are caused by something physical,  or what you feel in the body is caused by your anxiety, you are mistaken..

However, if you, for example, interpret your present pain in the foot as fatal and imagine this physical impression is linked with a psychological problem from the past experienced as worrisome. Then the psychological aspect appears to have caused the physical one.

Hereafter, the physical and psychological issues seem to have a significant impact on each other, the more your imagination run wild on a loop set off by envisioning ´what if…?´ However, your specific thought-up outcome is revealed to be two-fold when ´what if…?´ is replaced with ´it is what it is.´ And since there is no specific cause without a definitive effect, your alleged connection between non-physical and physical issues is no more and never was. Thus the physical problem can be dealt with in a material way and the psychological one in an abstract way. This is much easier and less scary when not imagining an immaterial issue affects a material one or vice versa – just like daily life feels less complicated when not expecting your fantasies to manifest physically.

You cannot change physical reality. But if you perceive it so it makes you suffer, you can change that perception.

If you experience the world is spinning around you, you will probably be diagnosed with vertigo.* This does not mean the doctor believes your experience is real. On the contrary, you are hallucinating. The world cannot spin around you. However, do not deny that you have this experience but that it is real. When you do that, the fear goes away. Thus you can realise, the whirling sensation is only going on inside you, and outside of you, the world goes on as usual. So just like when you look at the horizon and experience the earth is flat but correct that, you correct the world outside of you spins around you when you have vertigo. Eventually, you realise that nothing experienced is real, as it takes more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Having vertigo* is a glaring example of believing in something that is beyond the bounds of possibility. The world is not capable of spinning around you. The whirling sensation is an inner experience caused by a psychological problem, which seems so dangerous that you need to hide it by imagining the world outside of you is spinning around you.

That is until you stand up to the way you interpret the chaos inside you and perceive your reaction to it as ´it is what it is.´ This makes a crack in your rigid response. Out of it comes something which, at first, feels pretty abstract. But as soon as it has been defined by your rigid reaction, it settles as the opposite of that. Then this reversed side of your rigid response redefines that, so none of them is singular but in an exchange with each other. In this interaction of opposing elements, there is no rigid point of view anymore to uphold the fear of having your suppressed psychological problem exposed.

Since single-minded interpretations are disconnected from duality and since your appearance depends on that, you feel disconnected when you are reluctant to the togetherness of twofoldness.

Your initial response maybe feels like it is a bubble of sadness in the stomach. When not attempting to explain this vacuum but perceiving it as ´it is what it is,´ it literally speaking feels like it balloons outward like a swelling bubble of gladness. Had you started with a feeling of gladness, it would have turned into sadness. This dualistic interaction does not give you peace of mind because that is a singular experience. Instead, it connects you with the foundation of dualism, namely the expansion and extraction of the breath. This sets the experience of other polarities in motion. In this togetherness of opposing elements, you do not separate feelings from their complementary part anymore. Hence there are no specific feelings to hunt you.

Should the procedure described above seems too complicated, and you forget what to perceive as ´it is what it is,´ you perceive your reaction to that as ´it is what it is.´ Therefore, as it is revealed not to be singular but twofold, you are in the interplay of polarity. And since that is what duality is all about, you feel fulfilled.**

Always perceiving your response to something as ´it s what it is,´ you do not have to control your reaction to avoid feeling wrong because it will be complemented by feeling right. This does not mean right and wrong is going to be balanced. Dualism is not about balance because that cancels out contrasts (read more about that here), and without that, a world of duality cannot be experienced. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In the context of vertigo, you should, of course, approach it materially if the cause is physical, for example tiny crystals of calcium that have gotten loose in the inner ear. Maybe you consult a healthcare professional or do the Epley exercise for this. If, however, your reason for doing that is to get it over and done with, you are most likely fixated on getting back to being the you that you used to be.

Non-duality is nothing but one perpetual present. A world of duality, on the other hand, is a constant interaction of opposing experiences, for example the past and the future. Going with this flow of duality, you get the satisfaction of togetherness and not the loneliness that comes from separating the pairs of duality into single-minded concepts like living in the now.

Thus you do not feel fine regardless of the outcome like you do when your response to the problem is perceived as ´it is what it is.´ As already mentioned several times in this article, this perception replaces your singular interpretation of your reaction with a dualistic one. Consequently, you have a holistic experience of the cure and the outcome, maybe via the interaction of instability/stability, doubt/confidence, fatigue/health and disappointment/contentment. Many other duality pairs could be in play. But that is up to you to explore because part 2 of You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it is about to finish.

If that is experienced as abrupt, and your reaction is astonishment, please perceive it as ´it is what it is.´ Doing that, it is no longer excluded from its counterpart, calmness, wherefore you are in the duality flow and thus move on to other pairs of duality, for example abrupt/gradual, beginning/ end, and expectation/surprise. Hence you are, eventually, blown away by the interaction of duality.

So if you do not stop the duality flow by avoiding or enhancing specific thoughts and feelings, nobody walks a path with no distance to that which is everywhere since it is formless and therefore endless, namely non-duality. It is impossible to feel something at all because it takes more than one to do so, and there is no more than that which is one. But since you are reading this, you believe it is possible to be and have more than one. Hence you must feel what and where you believe in being, to undo this belief.

APPENDIX
Those who assume they suffer from a psychosomatic disorder have projected politically incorrect feelings like sexual lust, power strivings, greed, envy and anger, onto vulnerable parts of the body in the same way, some project offensive feelings onto the world.

But emotions are abstract, so they cannot be hidden in something substantial. Therefore, the projection of feelings on something tangible, such as others or your body, only conceals them from consciousness. Most, however, believe their problems are gone when they are out of sight. Just like an ostrich, according to myth, believes danger disappears when it buries its head in the sand.

Many of those believing in avoiding negativity like to use crystal stones for healing. They do not know that most of them, Amethyst, for example, does this by emitting negative ions which produce biochemical reactions that create positive vibes/mood and relieve stress.

This myth, though, is not valid. If an ostrich buries its heads in the sand, it dies from lack of air. And you die from the lack of collaboration between positivity and negativity if you hide the latter from yourself with a head-in-the-sand approach because everything operates in pairs in a world of duality. It is, for example, the combination of the negative pole and the positive one and in a wire that results in electricity.

Therefore, since duality is blurred when you hide negativity in yourself, you cannot have the belief in duality undone before it is exposed inside you to define positivity, and the two of them, therefore, happily interacts. Bringing back your negativity, as described in The YOU finger and the three ME fingers, you either feel vitalised by the twofoldness in the duality flow or have the belief in duality undone. The latter does not result in something, ss it requires more than one and there is no more than one in non-duality.

In this hack, we explore the different ways to undo the belief in a body-mind connection. But as always, in the case of a world where there seems to be more than one, it could have been better covered. However, the purpose of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not to present a complete explanation of how and why we appear to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, as we are not there or anywhere else, since it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is one.

To turn the basic self into a special one, you exclude everything judged as embarrassing from the perception of yourself. The banned thoughts and feelings you hide from the awareness by combining them with physical feelings from weak or deformed parts of the body. Hence psychological feelings in the future are experienced as physical sensations. So when a suppressed psychological issue is triggered, you are not aware of it because it feels like your experience is physical.

No matter what medicine you take or the diet you follow to stop the discomfort in the body, an abstract feeling of pain remains, namely the psychological issue hidden in the physical experience of the body. This pain comes from the psyche, and it does not go away before it is dealt with in an immaterial way.

Although the clothes and the body wearing them seem to be closely related, they have no understanding of each other. The clothes have no love or anything else to give the body and vice versa. Likewise, immateriality and materiality have nothing to give each other. Their reality is too different. That is why psychologically concepts of how to attain physical wellness do not work.

Thinking you are in control, you are under enormous pressure. You must always look for thoughts that can be used to compose a perception of your experiences, so they seem to prove that you, not the brain, are in control.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The body is made to interact with structures that, just like itself, is experienced to be material. That is why the body interprets your attempts to integrate it with non-physical feelings or ideas of spirituality as an attack on its integrity, which it must defend itself against.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To think that you can hide unpleasant feelings in the body is like thinking that you can hide them in a wall. Emotions are immaterial. Hence it is impossible to bury them in something material. However, it is possible to believe that this can be done. If you do that, you look at the body to find hidden problems, even though physical problems consist of nothing but material elements, and the hidden issues are in your perception of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You will never find anything physical in the digital world. Likewise, you will never find something physical in the psychological sphere or vice versa. That is why the concept of a body-mind connection is a scam.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Non-physical feelings are fleeting, so if you want to make them last, you must combine them with something more lasting, like physical feelings. Immateriality and materiality, however, do not mix, so the combination of them is purely speculative. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The nature of non-physical feelings are fleeting, so if you experience a specific one to be sticky, it is not due to them but to you. Maybe you an emotion to last, which you achieve by combining it with a part of the body.

If it is an exceptional experience of love you want to keep, you combine it with a pleasant physical feeling in the heart, for example. But if it is a particular memory of hate you want to hold onto, you link it with pain in the chest. However, just like a wall cannot contain the wind, it is impossible to fuse a body with abstract feelings. Yet, it is possible to mentally blend physicality and psychology so that every time you feel a specific kind of love, you think you feel something nice in the heart. And every time you feel hatred towards someone, you sense something weird in the chest.

Since you, therefore, feel something in the heart or chest that is not there, you have a problem believed to be in the body, which cannot be addressed. That is until you split this psychosomatic disorder into a material and immaterial issue, so you can deal with each one on its own term. In this case, you confront why you need to hold onto a specific feeling of love or hate. Then you consult a doctor to see if the heart is the problem. But most likely, it is the muscles.

However, most people do not want to wipe out the idea of a body-mind connection. On the contrary, they want to uphold their imagined union of immaterial and material issues as real, as then it seems possible to appear as if they have a feeling they do not have. Should this feeling be questioned, they refer to the bodily symptoms they claim is caused by that feeling. They love talking about body-mind connection because that makes it look like they are in control of themselves, even though they do not know who they are.

If you want to undo the imagined combination of immateriality and materiality, a willingness to not remember what and where you imagine being is all that is required. When being nobody is acknowledged, there is no need to make feelings last to define you as somebody.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you have combined a psychological feeling with a physical one, you want this combo to hide or prolong the psychological feeling. Therefore, since you need the part of the body from where you get the physical feeling to remain as it is, you resist healing it. That is until you do not have a need to hide or prolong the psychological feeling you imagine to have hidden there.

Healing the psychological part of a psychosomatic combo takes no time. All psychological feelings are fleeting, so they pass on when looked at. The physical part, you deal with by stepping back so the body can heal itself without having to live up to your expectations of wellness and wholeness.

Should this split-up of a psychosomatic issue seem problematic, you perceive your reaction to a feeling in the body that seems not only factual but also abstract as ´it is what it is.´ This renders your response indefinable. Thus the body is set free from your opinion, so it can outline the physical part of the combo and heal it in agreement with that. Since a psychological feeling only is sticky if manipulated into oblivion or something lasting, this part of the combo returns to its temporary nature and passes on when looked at.

For years there has been an unhealthy idea about uniting body, mind and soul with you as the master of the combo. Unfortunately, this approach has done much harm to the body. First of all, you are not the master of your appearance – only the perception of it. Secondly, the body is a physical unit built to deal with material matters and not mental, emotional or metaphysical ones – like the digital media where you read, this is made to deal with the digital world and not the physical one.

In other words, you cannot blend immateriality with materiality. However, you can imagine doing it and that your psychological problems, therefore, are buried in the body. But it only knows physical issues, so it feels attacked by something unknown when you attempt to dump psychological problems in the body. Hence it shoots off here and there. And you end up with psychosomatic disorders that cannot be healed until you are willing to bring back the psychological issues to the immaterial sphere.

Doing that may at first seem like you are going insane or being tortured. No worries, as long as you do not edit the unpleasantness, it will not remain for long because the nature of psychological feelings is to pass on when looked at unedited. Read more about this process in You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 1. When the psychological issues have vanished, you do not have psychosomatic disorders but physical issues. Fortunately, the body is an expert in dealing with physical problems. Should it need assistance from a health care professional, it will let you know.

The body does not want to be used as a means to manifest mental ideas of being balanced, centred or connected with higher consciousness, so it fights your abuse of it by tightening itself.

Therefore, the tensions in the body can only be healed when you withdraw your mental assault on the body. This is done by perceiving your reaction to the violation of the body as ´it is what it is´. Since that takes the power of your misguidance, you cannot help but laugh. You may also cry. But that is how it should be, as everything in a world of duality comes in pairs.

This makes you feel complete but maybe also silly because you are not pushing the body to the extremes anymore to feel young and more unique. But then again, since everything comes in pairs, silliness is complemented with wisdom. Thus you feel insightful even though you are not unique.

Meditation, the basic & special self

To define something as small, it must be contrasted by something tall. The special self, however, always tries to exclude one side of a contrast. For example, it wants love but not hate and positivity but not negativity. Thus the special self, therefore, excludes hate and negativity from itself by projecting it on others. But as you cannot experience one side of a contrast without the other, you exclude love and positivity when you exclude hate and negativity. The function of the brain is to create entertaining thoughts for the self that it has fabricated. Therefore, if thoughts do not seem to please but frustrate the self, its consciousness most likely perceives the flow of them so it appears to comply with theoretical concepts of capitalism, socialism, spiritualism or another ism meant to make the self feel there is something better than the natural flow of thoughts from the brain.

But since this perception is founded on a particular belief system, it is restricted by its concepts. And since self-discipline does not make you feel delighted but sad, you neither get the fulfilment your belief system promises to deliver. Instead, you get stress and confusion – especially because the thoughts you have compiled to keep your perception in line with your belief system do not like your manipulation. Hence, they move faster and faster to escape your domination.

No worries, if you do not try to stop this restless energy, it automatically ignites a take-off to the empty breath, where the slate is wiped clean for all misperceptions. Hence, only one perception left, namely the one that makes you happy because it is in sync with the experiences the brain produces of a world outside of you. Fortunately, you do not have to compose it yourself. The brain does that automatically when you do not interfere with it. The special self likes to believe that manipulating thoughts into visualising something specific makes it happen. This idea makes it appear to be in control of its life.

But it is like thinking the TV show you turn on by hitting the remote control is made by you. Somebody else has made the show, and the only thing you can change is your perception of it. This is also how the basic self has been transformed into a special self, namely by perceiving the basic self so that it seems to have become an independent being in charge of its own life.

But the special self needs constant approval from others to feel this is so. To get that, it often establishes a family, which can be manipulated into giving it the confirmation it needs. If that does not work as intended, the special self may pay money to a psychologist who will ratify its uniqueness. Still, it does not realise how dependent it is on those supporting its perception of being independent.

Since the basic self is relative to the experiences created by the brain (read more about that here), it is not someone definitive. Thus the inexact flow of thoughts coming from the brain seems natural. But the special self thinks it does not make sense because it wants to be someone definitive.

To distance itself from the brain, it composes a perception in which the basic self seems to have been transformed into a being independent of the brain. However, this twisted perception calls for more thoughts than those few the brain has available to make a perception aligned with the basic self. Thus, the special self meditates to generate more thoughts.

Those who perceive themselves as unique beings with the power to do things in their own way and pace need many thoughts to justify this twisted perception. However, the movement of all these thoughts soon becomes so hectic that they try to slow them down via meditation.

That is the official reason. But as anybody who has meditated knows, thoughts multiply when trying to control them. And that is the real reason for meditating because many thoughts are needed to construct an appearance of being unique.

 ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self does not feel disturbed by the flow of thoughts that come from the brain. On the contrary, it loves this quiet flow because it makes it able to serve the brain in a laid-back way. But the special self who want to be the master of the brain feels troubled by thoughts. However, the thoughts from the brain are few.

The frantic flow of thoughts, the special self experiences, has been generated by itself. It has multiplied the simple flow, the brain develops to maintain a basic itself into a large group of thoughts from where it can compose a perception of itself as an independent. Read more about that here. Then, when it needs a break from the multitudes of thoughts, it looks for something mind-numbing like alcohol, drugs or a mantra.

Should it really manage to relax, it feels horrified because, without all the special thoughts it has generated, the image of being in control falls apart. Thus there is no self-deception to hide that being someone you are dependent on, the brain, which depends on you to confirm its experiences as real. However, not fighting this interdependence, there is nothing to hide, all the brain´s experiences of you as someone in a capsule of time and space are as unreal as you being someone in a video game. Therefore, appearing to be in a world defined by time and space feels as entertaining as playing a game.

The brain works like nature. Therefore, serving it, you also have fun throwing seeds here and everywhere without worrying about the outcome. But those who believe to be in charge of themselves think much about the result of their actions. They want to get as much as possible for as little as possible (read more about that here). Hence they organise the seeds in straight lines, which results in much profit but no fun. Some solve that by buying things that make them happy, and others try to find something spiritual inside them to feel good. But the way to feel good is to serve the brain because it has created you to do that.

When you are scripted by the brain to feel sexual lust, you will feel horny no matter what you do. However, you will not enjoy your passion if you try to suppress it through meditation or tantra sex. Read more about sex here.

If you perceive yourself to be detached from the experiences you seem to have, you fool yourself because you need them to prove this.

When you try to solve absent-mindedness by mindfulness meditation or grounding exercises, you make it worse because you do not know how to take care of yourself. Only your maker knows that. And since it is the brain, the solution, in the context of believing to be someone, is to be aligned with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain instead of using meditation to distance yourself from the stream of thoughts.

Mindfulness is for those who cannot help exploiting others – just like in ancient times, meditation was introduced to the barbarians seeking shelter in Ashrams, so they could learn to control themselves and not abuse others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self enjoys being aware of itself as someone substantial by continually perceiving the experiences the brain produces as tangible. However, if it twists its perception of these experiences, so they seem to be spiritual, for example, they are not perceived as they are but how the self thinks they should be. Consequently, the self disassociates itself from the brain and thus itself, since what and where it appears to be is a product of the brain.

In other words, the self´s perceived independence of the brain is a disassociation from itself. And every act that the self perceives to do in its own way and pace deepens the alienation. That is why meditating to become purer, higher or whatnot enhances the feeling of remoteness instead of closeness. Thus you do not get the joy of appearing to be someone substantial in a tangible world, nor do you get around to undo the belief that being definable is real because that is suppressed by the imagination of being spiritual.

Since it is impossible to alter the stream of thoughts that the brain produces to uphold the basic self it has created, the consciousness that the brain has installed in it make a perception of the stream that establishes itself as the maker of it. Then, like a god, it says, »This is my creation.« And Bam! The world, as it perceives it, appears to manifest. Next, it says, »I am an independent being.´ And Bam! The perception is ratified as a fact.

Third, it builds a character with a few flaws, so it always has something to improve through meditation, Tai Chi or something else that makes it seem to be in control and thus able to be and have something specific. This makes it feel unique but not satisfied because it is all on its own.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self has no need to relax or transform itself through meditation, yoga, fitness and whatnot. On the contrary, since its perception is in sync with the stream of thoughts that come from the brain, it is rewarded with shots of happiness. And since this regularly makes it forget to remember being somebody, it knows there is nothing to transform.

On the other hand, the special self never forgets to remember being somebody. It is always on a mission to become more and be part of something greater. But since that never turns out as expected, it settles for following a guru or something else that seems to improve its social status.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you need to relax, you are on a mission to be someone definitive. To achieve that, you make a perception of the stream of thoughts coming from the brain where thoughts perceived as upsetting have been excluded. However, this does not result in peace but fear of the repressed. Not trying to edit the ever-changing flow of thoughts but perceiving it as ´it is what it is,´ you are not someone definitive but relative to the present experience produced by the brain. Thus hating what you dislike feels just as exciting as loving what you like. Hence there is no need to relax.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always looks for something to fix what it perceives as wrong. But it objects to the solution that would fix everything immediately, namely not perceiving the brain as an enemy but a friend (read more about that here). By doing that, everybody becomes a friend because the experience of somebody is produced by the brain.

Ultimately speaking, the solution is to undo the belief in being someone who experiences something. As this is the end of being anything, the special self avoids it by meditating or something else that seems to confirm it exists.

If you perceive the brains basic rendering of you as someone in a capsule of time and space to be a bit boring, the special self sets in by offering you more exotic ways of perceiving it, for example, by coming from the heart (read more about that here), living in the now or having direct experiences.

But since all experiences – no matter where you believe they come from or how they seem to be experienced – are a construction of thoughts (read more about that here) fabricated by the brain, the perception of having such special experiences is nothing but a reconstruction of the thoughts made by the brain.

However, this reconstruction does not work because it is not in tune with the brain´s rendering of you in a capsule of time and space. The experience the brain creates of the present consist of all thoughts popping up now, including those of the past and the future. When in sync with the whole bunch, every moment feels perfect. See hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment.

But this is not how it feels if you eliminate some of those thoughts so you can adjust to concepts like coming from the heart, living in the now or having direct experiences. This makes you feel disconnected. The same applies when you try to follow a plan.

The self, that the brain has fabricated from nothing (read more about that here) and continuously administer so it appears to be something, feels restricted when it imagines the freedom it could have if not managed by the brain but itself. But the self cannot be changed, only the perception of it. So no matter how you perceive yourself, you are still the same self that the brain has created and controls.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is foolish to think you are someone in a video game just because it seems to make you feel something. Whatever you believe in feeling is based on your interpretation of computer-generated events. In other words, what you feel is made by you. The same applies to what you feel in the world where you believe to read this. If you feel good about it, it is because you choose to interpret it so you feel this way. It is also make-believe if what you read makes you angry. You get this feeling because you have chosen to perceive this article in a way that makes you upset. Thus it is your choice whether you feel good or angry.

It is also your own doing to conclude that a god, higher consciousness or whatnot is making the world where you believe to be. There is neither god nor you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

People have very strange ideas about the enlightenment of that which is one. Some think it is being pure love or consciousness, or the ability to see through all illusions. But since seeing or being something requires more than one, the enlightenment they are dreaming about is not the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Most of those writing or talking about the enlightenment of that which is one try to give the impression, that they know what it is, so if you have chosen to believe their so-called knowledge, you may dismiss the enlightenment of that which is one, if it hits you, because it has nothing to do with anything anybody claim to know. Enlightenment of that which is one is formless so it cannot be described or defined. If you try, you will remain as someone definable, and so it is not possible to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

In other words, if somebody refers to experiences of enlightenment, it is not the enlightenment of that which is one, because it cannot be experienced. Yet it might be glimpses of it because just like you can use your senses to experience a world that appears to be outside of you, you can turn them inwards in order to experience a world with glimpses of enlightenment.

If you tend to sense the world in an auditory way, turning the senses inwards may not reveal visual glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one but auditory ones, so instead of a revelation of light, it is a revelation of ethereal harmonies. Just like the outer senses also can feel and taste, so can the inner ones.

In other words, there are the same different ways to experience the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, as there are to experience the world when senses are partly turned inwards. If they are fully turned inwards, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. This is not an experience, though, as it takes more than one to experience something.

The purpose of feelings is to make it seems as if there is more than than that which is one, although it is formless and therefore endless, wherefore there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

In other words, in reality, it is not possible to feel anything at all. Likewise, there is not something to experience. That is why the enlightenment of that which is one can neither be felt or experienced. It is that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the sun is shining sharp and bright, it reveals, if my windows are well cleaned or not – it shows all the things, I usually do not see. This is contrary to the light of the enlightenment of that which is one. Although it can be said to be brighter than thousands of suns, it reveals nothing. There is not anything to see and no need to see something. Not because it fulfils you, but because you as someone definable is no more. There is nothing but the light of that which is one.

So many claims to know the way to that which is one, but none of them goes there. Could it be because they are still trying to heal, fix and improve what they believe to be instead of undoing the belief in being someone at all?

When that is undone, there is not someone to go to that which is one. Thus no way is needed.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has vague memories of it, whereas others have nothing but speculations.

To be in the world and not of it does not mean, the world looks more dreamy, transparent or lucid. The world is a concept, that always looks the same, unless you do not change the concept via for example drugs or Photoshop like in the case of this pic. To not be of the world is like, – within this context of the world – that when you play a game like Monopoly, you know, you are in it but not of it.

The enlightenment of that which is one does not change anything – except that you know, the world is pure fiction. This also includes ideas of god, love, higher self, ego, and you name it. Well, enlightenment also makes it easier to live in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Because when you know none of it is real – neither you as a person in it – there is no need for questions or answers. You are free to step on it and play the game of pretending to be a person ´there´.* Someone once put it more or less like this: To be in the world and not of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot know the enlightenment of that which is one, and that is why hardly anybody is enlightened. They try so hard to know and understand – and so they fail, because in regard to the enlightenment of that which is one everything you seem to know is wrong!

The unenlightened likes to teach others the way to enlightenment, but the enlightened knows there is no way.

Books and lectures may seem to provide some understanding about the enlightenment of that which is one, but the more you think you understand, the further away you are from it. The same applies if you think you understand it after reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. They are not meant to be understood, but to help you to unlearn everything, you have learned.

The enlightened does not care to appear spiritual or anything else, as to be something requires more than one. But to the unenlightened it is very important appearing to be spiritual, so even though the enlightened and the unenlightened knows just as much about the enlightenment of that which is one, namely nothing, the unenlightened show off as if knowing so much.

You cannot bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one by wanting it, but by not wanting to be of the world. It erases everything you know so that there is literally nothing left for the light to carry through a black hole into that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one does not result in something. It has absolutely no effect, as that would require more than one.

Just the smallest definitions of the enlightenment of that which is one break it up in specific elements that each has a beginning and end – and as it cannot be broken, you have fabricated another illusion to fence it off. So do yourself a favour: Forget all that you think, you just read. Forget, what and where you believe to be, so that there is no belief blocking out the enlightenment of that which is one.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings presents no definition of the enlightenment of that which is one, as it is not of the world a world where there seems to be more than one, and therefore cannot be figured out. There is not someone definable in the enlightenment of that which is one, so there is nobody to picture it.

Nobody sees it. Yet if you return to a world where there seems to be more than one as a visually minded person, you may have vague memories of a light brighter than thousands of suns as it is described in the Bhagavad Gita. Neither is there anybody hearing it, but if you are an audio minded person, you may have vague memories of ethereal harmonies with sounds that can be compared to bells and harps. And even though there is nobody to feel the enlightenment of that which is one you may as an emotional minded person have vague memories of a feeling that can be compared to the sensation of thousands of bubbly Coca Colas mixed into one bubble. This is actually what the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises. Also, it is not something you taste. Most likely, however, there are vague memories of thousands of smoothies mixed into one taste of milk and honey with a hint of strawberries or liquorice.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is what undoes the belief that there is more than one, it is not mixing its different aspects, but using the one that is most appealing to you, so do not fight it when all the thoughts collected to witness you as someone definitive is extracted and the nothingness of you is sucked into that which is one.

Since the world, in general, focuses on seeable effects, the visual aspect of the enlightenment is the most known. The other features, however, are about the same. They all make you forget to focus on something definable so you as nobody can follow the flow of them into the formlessness of that which is one.

Whatever aspect of the enlightenment you naturally are attracted to follow depends on your preferences as someone definitive. The goal, though, is not to see, hear, feel or taste the enlightenment of that which is one. It cannot be experienced since there is no more than that which is one, and it takes more than one to experience something. For the same reason, there is no goal at all.

Please be aware, that if for example somebody has never seen a carrot, and it is described as having a colour like a colourful sunset, this does not mean, a carrot has anything to do with as a sunset. It is common sense.

But when it comes to the enlightenment of that which is one most seem to forget common sense and make strange conclusions, so to spell it out: Any description of the enlightenment of that which is one in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, is just that, namely a story. And like a carrot is not a sunset, the visual aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one in a light brighter than thousands of suns, but the intensity of it can be compared to that.

It is very easy to meet the requirement of the enlightenment of that which is one, as all it requires is that you do not know what and where you are, and this nobody knows. That is unless you hide this by being exclusive instead of inclusive because by excluding something, you seem to be defined as someone definitive, who autonomously can decide what and where to be. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

PART 1:
Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one knows, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Most others think there must be more.

This does not mean that someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one knows about heaven or nirvana, how to unite with atman or god, be full of bliss or to transcend the self and whatnot. For someone like that, it seems like a waste of time to obtain such states of mind, as to know, unite, transcend or be something requires more than one and therefore remains within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In that context, someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one prefers googling for how and where to get good food, clothes and other practical things, that make it more comfortable to pretend to be in a world where there seems to be more than one a world, instead of trying to escape it by learning about kundalini, states of bliss and whatnot. Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one knows, there is nothing to escape, because there is no more than that which is one.

Being grounded, wise or anything else are not attributes of someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, because someone like has no need to be anything specific.

Therefore someone like that does not care for abstract ideas of nirvana, higher states of consciousness and whatnot. And when using words like ego, personality, duality, non-duality and oneness, it is without knowing what they are. Words are just something that has been learned in order to be able to communicate in a world where there seems to be more than one and not to promote itself as someone special.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one does not feel alienated, when taking part in a world where there seems to be more than one, because someone like that does not believe to be there, as there is no more than that which is one. Yet someone like that is not taking part in the world in order to be or to have something. Actually, someone like that does not know that there is something to be or have, because all what is known is that there is no more than that which is one. This is not the same, however, as that which is one is known. It cannot be known, as it takes more than one to know something.

Yet someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has no idea about what the world is, as it is in the eye of the beholder, and what is behold cannot be trusted. It is all make-believe.

Neither does someone like that knows the formlessness of that which is one, because it takes more than one to know something. Yet someone like that knows what everybody else in a world where there seems to be more than one also know, namely that such a world is unreal. But even though it has not been possible to verify the creation of the world and Quantum Physics basically says, it does not exist unless you look at it, most suppress that what they see is make-believe.

In other words, most things said and done in the world is based on denial, whereas the foundation for what someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one seems to say and do is that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, because there is no more than that which is one.

Consequently, there is nobody writing this, and therefore no personality with a need to fabricate a consistent article written by someone special. This does not mean that there is no personality because in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is as necessary as the body. Yet there is nobody identified with the personality, neither the body.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has, like everybody else, its own personality. But unlike everybody else, it is not definitive but relative. In other words, the personality can, just like the hands of the body, for example, be used in many ways, as there is no attachment to a special expression of it  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The personality, however, still carries out its duty, namely to collect info that seems to prove, the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is real. But as there is no identification with the personality, the apparent differences that it points out in the world are met with indifference. Hence they do not make a difference, and separation makes no sense. In other words, there is no more than that, which is one.

This is not something that has been realised by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. Not knowing and yet knowing that there is no more than that which is one is a natural state of someone like that.

PART 2: Someone who is not to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to someone who is online all the time. The light of the sun is never seen – only the light of the screen. Likewise, you never see the light from that which is one, when you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. All the light you see in such a world is artificial, no matter where it seems to come from because such a world is not real.

Actually, all light that can be seen is an illusion, because it takes more than one to see something and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Therefore the light from that which is one is not something you see, neither is it something you become, as that also requires more than one.

To not see and neither be the light of that which is one, you must be willing to undo the belief in being someone at all. Forgetting what and where you are or not caring about more accomplishes this.

Inclusiveness results in nothing, because without the exclusion of something, you cannot be defined. Not being definable there is nothing to hide the formlessness of that which is you.

The more you include, the less you appear to be separated but alone together, which is the obvious way back to the formlessness of that which is one, since this is how you imagined to leave it. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

You are defined as someone definitive by what you do not like in yourself and therefore exclude by projecting it on others. In other words, it is the exclusion of something from what you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, that defines you as someone definitive there.

From this follows that if you do not exclude anything but include everything, you are not defined as someone definitive, neither is there no more for you to become or have, and so there is nobody to believe that you are someone definitive.

Theoretically speaking everything can be included right now. Yet you may want to take it slower and do it along the way, because the more the belief in being someone definitive is undone, the less you suffer from it, and so you are able to enjoy the excitement of this belief while having it undone.

You cannot fail when practising inclusiveness. If you forget to include something, you include your forgetfulness. And if you think, it is a sin to forget something, you include being a sinner.

Nothing has to be changed or made better to make inclusiveness work. It is very simple. You can never do it wrong because if you do, you include that.

You can also have the belief in being someone definitive undone in a similarly smooth way by having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see the article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment) or connecting with the empty breath (see hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

The last two approaches require you to open up to the world of the inner senses, but if you prefer to remain in the world of the outer senses while slowly but surely having the belief in being someone definitive undone, you stick to inclusiveness as described above. See hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is completeness.

Another approach that also sets off from the world of the outer senses is to pretend to be in it instead of believing to be there (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation) or to perceive everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience them (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life or simply be what you already are as someone definitive, namely alone together (see hack #7 ´Alone together´ is the key to that which is one).

If you do not want to take it slow but to have the belief in being someone definitive undone in less than no time, you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. See HACK #6 Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it.

Apart from the enlightenment of that which is one, the above approaches overlap each other. Basically, they all lead to what in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is called a state of not-knowing, which after-effect is perfect moments. They are not perfect in the sense that there is nothing wrong, but that everything right and wrong or whatever is perceived as it is what it is, so nothing is right or wrong.

The best of the above approaches to use is the one that suits you the most. If it changes from day-to-day, that is the way to go for you. Alexius follows the empty breath, which like an automatic gear shift between the above approaches, that makes you indifferent to the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it seems there is constantly something to learn about how to function there. In that context, Alexius knows something, for example how to type and publish Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings on the web.

Yet he does not use his worldly knowledge to enhance the belief in being someone, but as a means to undo it. In the context of spirituality, Alexius knows nothing, because it is that which is one and it takes more than one to know something. This article is written in that context.

PART 3:
Though Alexius is someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he does not know what it is. So if you after having read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings have the impression that he knows something, you may have fooled yourself into thinking, that he believes he as someone definitive is making them.

Alexius does not believe to be someone definitive.  It is just something he pretends to be, and what he writes while pretending this is not something he has devised. As a vessel, he simply types what he receives without trying to understand it.

There is not something to understand in regard to the enlightenment of that which is one, as what is understandable has a beginning and an end, whereas that which is one is formless and therefore endless. That is why the enlightenment of that which is one does not supply you with a higher understanding but simply leaves you with nothing.

It is also why there is nothing outside of it, neither you, Alexius or his non-teachings. This is not to say that you, Alexius and his non-teachings are inside of it. What is formless has no sides, so there is no inside. Besides, it takes more than one to be somewhere.

It cannot be known what the enlightenment of that which is one is, because it requires more than one to know something, and all that it reveals is that there is no more than that which is one. Consequently everything you seem to know about it is wrong.

In other words, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings does not point to the formlessness of that which is one, as there is nothing outside of it. Furthermore, formlessness takes up no space, so there is nothing to point to.

You may think that what can be seen is real, but it is the other way around, only that which cannot be seen is real, because reality is the formlessness of that which is one and as formlessness has no dimensions it is invisible.

But Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings point to the experience of you, Alexius, his non-teachings and anything else conceivable as an illusion, because it takes more than one to experience something and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

Alexius body is not full of light, neither is he the way, as Jesus supposedly claimed that he was. The enlightenment of that which is one is formless, so it cannot fill a body defined by time and space. Also it takes at least two and not one to fill something with something.

For the same reason there is no way leading to the enlightenment of that which is one. No worries. It is not needed, because that which is one is formless, so it never ends and consequently cannot be left. Hence there is no Alexius or anybody else to enlighten.

PART 1:
Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has nothing to discuss, and no need to participate in any kind of communication!

For the unenlightened, there is much to discuss, and the feeling of being part of a special community is very important. The purpose of it is to make the world or a world beyond it appears as if it is real so that they also are confirmed as someone real. The more there is to discuss, the more the sense of unreality is buried.

The unenlightened assume, that they think and that what they consider to be their thoughts is a very important contribution to the world. Yet nobody is thinking anything. Just like radio is only transmitting the signals that are hitting it, a person is only transmitting the signals it seems to receive.

A person though, contrary to a radio, try to uphold itself as if it is someone special by giving the impression that what it broadcasts are opinions and feelings of its own. These ´personal´ opinions are used to manifest them as a person as with a self, but even though saints and psychologist in each their own way have searched for the self, nobody has found it, neither have they found god, soul, mind or ego. But based on endless speculations they conclude it must be there, and that consequently, they exist as individuals in a world defined by time and space.

Nowadays electronic media has become the means to feel alive. Many do not feel they have had breakfast before sharing it on Instagram – or they need to see how many steps their fitness tracker have registered, before they know what to feel.

On social media it is so easy to build a political correct and apparent popular personality. You simply delete those images and/or messages, that do not get enough likes. In this way you can control the image of you, so it appears likable, and as if you always do the right thing.

Scientists are not able to prove the existence of such a world. Actually, they tend to say it is not there, and that it is to be compared to a hologram – just like ancient scriptures say the world is an illusion or to be compared to a dream.

All these discussions about god, soul, mind, ego and the future of the world are so boring for someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one so these concepts are just as illusionary as any other. These endless speculations are to be compared to persons in a dream discussing, what and where they are as if they are somewhere. They are nowhere. They do not exist. Only the dreamer exists. Period.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it seems there is constantly something to learn about how to function there. In that context, Alexius knows something, for example how to type and publish Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings on the web.

PART 2:
It is very important to be visible for those, who want to be somebody important in a world defined by time and space. It is a must to be seen and see others, so that you can reinforce the belief, that you as someone definitive are part of a world where there seems to be more than one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one knows, there is no world, so the enlightened has no interest in being someone in particular. Actually, it feels so good to be nobody – transparent like the air – and to not focus on appearances, but that which makes it possible to experience something that is not there, as if it is.

Most have forgotten, a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a notion, a silly idea that cannot be realised, and so they try to connect to others by sharing the belief, that such a world is real and that they, therefore, have succeeded in being and having more than that which is one.

A world where there seems to be more than one is a twisted version of that which is one. In oneness, everything ´happens´ fast and simultaneously, so there is no way of distinguishing anything like in the world. That which is one can be compared to a movie that runs so fast, that there are no differences to see, whereas a world where there seems to be more than one can be compared to the same movie but shown in slow motion so that all the different frames makes it appear as if differences make a difference.

You could also compare the world to an extension of a computer dot. A computer dot looks like it is one round thing, but it consists of innumerable amounts of square pixels, that are so tight together, that they cannot be perceived as separated identities unless the dot is extended.

But it is not possible to extend that which is one, so experiencing different appearances in linear time is an illusion. Yet when you appear to be in this illusion everything seems to take time. The enlightened know that and therefore patiently wait to return to the reality of that which is one. As nothing in the illusion can be experienced without it, everything in the illusion is a symbol of it. In other words, every moment is perfect* – and so there is nothing to wait for.

A dream is not real and so there´s no one there. Neither is a a dream made by any one. What is not real cannot be made. It can only be dreamed.

PART 3:
Somebody who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one never waits, because such a person has nothing to hope for. Neither does such a person live in the now, as there is no life in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Consequently, such a person does not live in the world. Well, nobody lives ´there´. It only appears so – just like there appears to be somebody in a movie.

In the world – like in a movie – everything has an end. The unenlightened is therefore always afraid of loss and hoping for the end not to come or at least be postponed – and so ideas of god, heaven, reincarnation or anything else, that seem to extend the life of a person in the world are much cherished.

The way somebody who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one deal with the world can be compared to how a person participates in a game like Monopoly: It is not possible to be in the world Monopoly, but it is possible to pretend to be ´there´.

The unenlightened may ask, who is it, that is pretending to ´there´ – but somebody who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one would never ask such a question. There is no more than that which is one. Consequently, there is nobody pretending to be ´there´ – just like there is nobody pretending to be in a dream.

INTERLUDE:
The unenlightened likes to demonstrate specific knowledge of ancient scriptures and whatnot in order to prove there is something greater, that the unenlightened is a special part of. But one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has no need to be part of anything. There is no more than that which is one, so to be part of something is an illusion – as is to be or know anything at all.

When you see a movie, you forget it is not real, and you seem to go, where the movie takes you.

To have a quiet mind does not mean that there are no thoughts, but that you do not consider them to be yours – or anybody else´s for that matter. In other words, thoughts and feelings seem to be rushing through one who is compared to the enlightenment of that which is one just like in everybody else, but the enlightened does not follow them.

PART 4:
The unenlightened see differences everywhere – so do one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, but the latter does not perceive them make a difference.

The unenlightened is full of thoughts, that they assume are made by themselves and therefore represent the specific personality, they believe to have. In one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, there are also many thoughts, but there is no ´I´ with a need to pick them up and put them together in such a way, that it seems they belong to someone specific – and so thoughts are just passing by like birds in the sky.

This does not mean, that one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one observes the thoughts passing by. Not all, when an angry thought is passing by, he/she is angry – nothing more or less. And when thoughts of compassion pass by, he/she is nothing but compassion at that moment.

The only real difference between the unenlightened and the enlightened seems to be that the enlightened – metaphorically speaking – knows, where the river goes, so there is no need to search for something. Instead, he/she can really enjoy all aspects of the roller coaster ride it feels to be following the flow of the river.

Everybody in the roller coaster is heading to the sea – and if you do not see yourself and everybody else there, you must be mistaken. No worries though – a mistake can easily be corrected. That is if you acknowledge you are mistaken.

PART 5:
There is no more than one in the enlightenment of that which is one, and as it requires more than one to experience something or be in a state, it is neither experience or a state. So to bid it welcome the person you appear to be must die in order for nobody to be in the enlightenment of that which is one. This is probably why St. Paul accordingly to the New Testament said, that he died daily.

In other words, nobody walks around enlightened as that which is one. That is not possible, because the enlightenment of that which is one is the destruction of a world where there seems to be more than one. Not that it really is destructed, because it is not real, as there is no more than that which is one.

Appearing to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you appear to be just like everybody else in such a world. But there is one big difference: You know from vague memories of the enlightenment of that which is one, that there is no more than that which is one, so you do not believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one – you just pretend to be there.

This might be perceived by others as one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one is detached, and so they conclude, they need to be detached to be enlightened, but it is the other way around. You need to not be or know anything to bid welcome the enlightened of that which is one.


*) That a moment is perfect does not mean, that everything is good, but that bad is just as perfect as good!

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one is as alone as can be. Well, everybody is, even though they try to cover it with a full calendar and whatnot. The enlightened though has nothing to cover, because there is no ´I´ with a need to appear as if it is together with somebody special or part of something greater.

Yet the enlightened is superb in regard to relating to others because relating – just like anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one – is perceived as a symbol of oneness. In that sense, all relations are the same. Consequently the enlightened has no need to be involved in a specific relation and therefore can tune into the needs of any relation and be its missing piece.

But there is no urge to make any relation last, neither is there any fear of its end, which is bound to come – especially as the reason for others to be in a relationship is to be part of something special, so they expect to be missed, and the enlightened never miss anything.

A journey without distance
When persons seem to leave the enlightened, he/she does not perceive it as being left – just like the sun is not gone, when it seems to go away at night. It is in the same place, whether it appears to go up or down. It is the earth, that is moving.

The enlightened knows, that if others are experienced to leave, it only seems so because the enlightened itself is moving – or rather imagine to move because the enlightened is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. What is real cannot be in an illusion – just like within a world where there seems to be more than one it is not possible for a person to be in the virtual world of a video game. Yet it is possible to imagine being there.

To imagine something does not make it real though, so if others seem to leave the enlightened because he/she imagine moving in the world, nothing has changed. Just like nobody is leaving you in a dream and you are not going anywhere, because all the time you are in your bed. Likewise, that which is one is still the same and will always be, regardless of what seems to happen in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one is on a journey without distance.

Being on a journey without distance requires the unenlightened to think so he/she can figure out what to do and where to go. The enlightened, however, does not need to think, because nothing is needed on that a journey, as that which is one is formless and therefore endless, so there is no nowhere to go since that requires more than one.
