Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´ (in the process of being updated)

When you do not believe to be made of substantial elements – whether appearing to be subtle or solid – empty space takes over.* This can of course not be illustrated, so this yin-yang illustration is just simulating the swing of the empty breath coming out of it. Since the bliss of nothingness, that sets in when connecting with the empty breath, is a state of not-knowing, it is not possible to connect with it when in the consciousness of being someone definitive. Thus the connection must be established before the brain based on signals, it claims to receive from the sensory system, renders a world defined by time and space, as if it is you who have a conscious experience of it, therefore, are someone in it.

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite it also is empty space and just like a dream has nothing substantial in it – is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Thus appearing to be someone definitive is make-believe, no matter what and where you appear to be.

On account of this taking one second for the brain to accomplish, there are countless of seconds where a connection with the empty breath can be established (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), because in those seconds unprocessed by the brain, there is nothing to define you and therefore no consciousness of being someone definitive, so there is no difference between the nothingness of you and that of the empty breath.

Believing to coming from the heart is a way to bypass the brain, so that you appear to be more special and/or spiritual than the basic self it preserves. But it is just like painting your hair. It still comes from the head.

This has nothing to do with coming from the heart, which is just something you imagine to make you feel more special and to feel closer to your pure your essence instead of being somebody insignificant. But you have no pure essence. You are nothing. Thus being insignificant is closer to that which is you, because when you are nothing, something does not appear to hide, there are no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless

How to connect with the bliss of the empty breath

You connect with the empty breath by not connecting with the consciousness of you as someone definitive experiencing the tangible world, that the brain spends a second to fabricate from what the senses seem to have picked up in empty space. You can compare this to not turning on a video game, because you rather want to experience the physical world – except that connecting with the empty breath is not a conscious experience but a state of not-knowing, and you have less than a second to connect with that instead of the image the brain fabricate as if you are someone definitive. This is plenty of time though, provided you are willing to not be conscious of something but be a servant of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath sees no separation, it has no need to connect with you, no matter what and where you believe to be. You, on the other hand, need to connect with it, if you want to be indifferent to the belief in the brains conversion of empty space into a world where you seem to be someone separated from everything else by time and space. Forget about being conscious of the empty breath, as what you are conscious about is never the present but the past.

Having connected with the empty breath in the second that has not yet been processed by the brain and hereafter not picking up on the brains deceptive fabrication of you as someone living in a capsule of time and space, the second unprocessed by the brain is extended into a state of not-knowing.

This state though cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to remain as if you are someone definitive, because if the brain is not constantly occupied with thoughts, that seems to confirm the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, it falls into a coma.

So being in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, is the end of being there or anywhere else, because the signals that appear to come from empty space are no longer registered by the brain, wherefore there is neither nothing or something that seems to cover up, there never was or will be anything else than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore has no beginning or end.

Is it the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive, or is the undoing of this belief that causes the bliss of the empty breath? Since that question arises from the belief in being someone definitive, which is an illusion fabricated by the brain, there is no answer to it, neither to who has fabricated this illusion or who choose to have the belief in it undone. How not to be deceived by the brains fabrication of you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space but instead drift in the bliss of not-knowing is a question that cannot be answered, since it is founded on the belief that you are someone definitive, and the bliss of not-knowing comes from the indifference to that belief.

Neither can it be known, if it is the empty breath or not believing to be someone definitive that comes first in regards to be in the transparency of not-knowing. The only reason somebody wants to know this – or anything else in regards to a state of not-knowing – is that they believe to be defined by what they know, and they rather remain as somebody definitive than nobody in the bliss of not-knowing.

Thus the above about where to find the transparent bliss, that the empty breath entails, is not an attempt to answer the question but to rule it out. The same applies to the below, which is a further exploration of the above.

what you see is a translation produced by the brain


It takes time for the brain to correct the signals, it receives from the eyes about a flower, for example, so that it does not appear to be upside down but a coherent right-side-up image in the way you expect to see a flower. In other words, what you experience to see now is an edit version of the past. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

It takes time for the brain to adopt the signals it seems to receive from your eyes, so they appear to be something substantial in the tangible world, we collectively have agreed to see outside of us. All the signals, for example, must to be flipped in order to produce an image of a world that does not appear to be upside down. Read more about that here.

This is not a skill, we are born with. The brain in a baby does not know how to do that. But in order to integrate the baby in the belief system of the world, the brain must quickly learn how to turn the incoming signals into a coherent right-side-up image, so it seems the baby is having the same experience of the world as everybody else.

You do not know what you are reading in this very moment, because what you believe to read now is the brains delayed adaption of the signals, it received from your eyes one second ago. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Where to enter the transparent bliss of the empty breath?
Even though it only takes the brain a few milliseconds to register the signals, it receives from the eyes in this very moment, what you are conscious about right now is something else, because the brain needs a second more to process a conscious experience of those signals, so that you believe they are what you experience to see now.

The brain extrapolate the second it uses to process the signals, it claims to receive from the senses, into an experience that seems to confirm, you are someone definitive experiencing them now not one second ago.

In other words, since your conscious experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the signals the eyes received one second ago, what you believe to read now was read in the past.

When not organising thoughts and feelings into specific categories, they do not seem to represent something in a substantial world. Hence there is nothing to block out the empty breath, that does not know of such a world or that you believe to be someone there. All it knows is the nothingness from which this fantasy has been made, because it is that nothingness.

now is a delayed interpretation of the past

The data, that your experience of this image is based on, the brain received from your eyes at least one second ago. In other words, your experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the past fabricated by the brain in order to fool you into believing, that you are someone definitive having your own life. As this means you are never conscious of the present but the past, and as the empty breath is only in the present, the way to connect with it is to not be conscious but return to the second of no consciousness (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), where the signals from the sensory organs have not been processed by the brain into a conscious experience of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is nobody in this second unprocessed by the brain, there is not somebody to believe, that the apparently different signals received via the sensory system are making a difference. Thus the brains interpretation of them, as if they are a reflection of different substantial elements making up a world where there seems to be more than one is exposed to be a fiction, that hides they are a reflection of nothing and not of something, wherefore there is no differences that appear to separate you from the empty breath.

The experience of a dimensional world is a fabrication of the brain, which it produces by overlaying the flat signals hitting the two eyes into one seamless image of a 3D world. See hack #2.3 Life is flat or hack #2.5 Size does not matter.

what you believe to be is the brain

The brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct a self, that through selected parts of the signals hitting the sensory organs in combinations with singled out memories, feelings and imaginations make up an exciting story about itself, that is stored all over inside the brain as if it is you. How long time does connectedness with the empty breath lasts?
It is just five per cent of the brain, that is used to shape the conscious experience of ourselves as somebody defined by time and space. Much more space though is needed to establish this experience as real. Thus a big part of the brain is constantly occupied with thoughts about ourselves as if they are caused by a tangible world experienced to revolve around us and therefore seem to confirm, that we are somebody definitive. If not kept busy by making it appear, as if there is something where there is nothing, the brain falls into coma, so you can only remain as if you are someone in the tangible world fabricated by it, if you do not float too long in the transparent bliss of a state of not-knowing, that the empty breath entails.

It seems, that when the brain is not kept busy with thoughts, we appear to think ourselves about ourselves (see No talking is needed to come back to that which is one and The ins and outs of the inner senses) for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls apart – and since all our selected memories are stored there and the sum of them is what we believe to be, this belief falls apart as well.

When you look for something better, a state of not-knowing is fenced off, until you are so fed up with looking for the best, that the almost involuntary reflex to divide the world into better and worse is dismissed in favour for the indifference of the empty breath. Thus connecting with the empty breath is not a matter of doing it right but having had enough.

Thus a state of not-knowing cannot last too long at a time. That is not a problem though, because mostly it lasts no longer than the moment it takes for the uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions to ignite it (see Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ).

In the bliss of the empty breath you are indifferent to being and having more

The urge to be and have more is the cause of all suffering because more wants more, so there will never be enough. That is not a problem though, when connected with the empty breath, because it is indifferent to differences, so you always have enough. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Even in a state of not-knowing the urge to be someone special may be so deep-rooted, that it paves the way for the brain – perhaps just for a split second – to break through with its version of you as someone, who can be and have something special, if agreeing to identify selected sensory signals to be better than others, for example those that seem to manifest you in a special relation with a spouse, children of yours, pets or bodily wellness.

As nothing appears to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, there is no special place to go or someone special to love, so if having a need for something special, it feels as being inside an unbreakable armour of pain instead of floating in the bliss of nothingness.

If not trying to escape this feeling of claustrophobia but including it as it is, it is not definable as something and thus nothing but that from where bliss of nothingness is coming.

Compared to this vision of you as someone special in control of what to be and have, the simple bliss of nothingness seems boring, because there is nobody to be excited about being and having something special.

Love, empathy and whatnot are feelings fabricated by the brain, so that the experience of you as someone definitive, seems to be a happy one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you succeed in having sex with somebody, the brain rewards you by releasing dopamine, which is the same it releases if you take drugs. And if the relation goes on it is not about love but to follow the demands of the brain, so it will release a new shot of dopamine.

Like everything else this has an end. But if you start showing more empathy in your relation, the brain is gonna reward you with shots of oxytocin – also called ´the hugging hormone´ – that instantly creates a feeling of happiness. And if you go along with the instructions of the brain, you will soon have a baby to cuddle.

Thus a state of not-knowing is left behind by imagining to be so special, that someone else, who also is special, is impressed and wants to be in a special relationship with you, so what you seem to have together can replace the feeling of loneliness, that arises from judging someone or something to be special.

That is, until you are so weary from living up to the expectations of being someone special, that you prefer to use your frustration as a take-off to the empty breath (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), and float in the bliss of nothingness, that arises from being indifferent to the desire of being and having something special.

The bliss of the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, that is all-inclusive

If you try to exclude the desire for something special in order to remain in a state of not-knowing, you are already out of it, because being in a state of not-knowing is all-inclusive, contrary to being someone definitive, that is exclusive. So if not excluding but including your desire, you are still nobody in the bliss of not-knowing, and thus in its guidance of everything included.

In this case you used hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss. But you could also have continued by using a hack to connect with the empty breath by using the restless energy of your desire to ignite a take-off to the empty breath (see How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), as all the duality hacks are interchangeable.

Even though Alexius mostly was in a state of not-knowing, when he for two days was stuck in the rainforest without food and water, it was the inclusion of his fear, that made it possible for the empty breath to use it in guiding him to a helicopter, that wired him up from there. See the article Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

The bliss of the empty breath has no centre

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions within its non-definable frame as a circle with no fixed centre. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

So when not insisting that your spouse and whatnot is special, which is done by not excluding but including your desire to be and have something special (see hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not make appear to make difference, and you continue in the flow of the empty breath, that helps you dealing with everything included.

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions – up and down, back and forth, from right to left, or anywhere in between – within its non-definable borders of a circle with no fixed centre or size (see the illustrations in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

It makes no difference to the empty breath though what direction you follow or how much you are connected with it. Your willingness to connect is all that it wants (see the paragraph The only requirement is a willingness in ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone). And if it is there, it automatically syncs the inner and outer senses, so the sense of stability in the inner ones helps you to get through the sense of instability in the outer ones (see What and where are the inner and outer senses).

You cannot know what is in your own best interest, because you believe to be someone in need of something special. The empty breath, however, knows what you believe to be is not something but nothing. Thus what you need is not the excitement of something but the bliss of nothing.

This does not mean, it will seem easier to get a new spouse, more money and whatnot in the world of the outer senses, but that it is easier seeing, it makes no difference what you appear to be and have, because that which is you is not a limited creature in a capsule of time and space but the formlessness of oneness.

In the bliss of the empty breath you do not know what and where you are

In a state of not-knowing, you do not know what and where you are. No worries. It is not needed. On the contrary. It is the assumption, that you know what and where you are, that covers the bliss of not-knowing it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

More ways to a state of not-knowing
Inclusiveness also results in a state of not-knowing (see hack #3.3 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), and so does pretending to be someone instead of believing to be that (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive), or having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can), or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), or acknowledging that the experience of such a world is something you are having alone together (see hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

All other duality hacks (see More Duality Hacks and Extra Duality Hacks) except the enlightenment of that which is one also result in a state of not-knowing. If they differ from each other is not to say, as the brain does not fabricate a conscious experience of them.

How many triangles are there in this image?
As the brain automatically fill in the missing pieces in this image to make you believe, that you see two triangles, you will probably disagree with the grey triangle being an illusion and the one partly framed by a black stroke being disconnected.

But if you cover the three incomplete black circles, the grey triangle disappears and the other one is fragmentary.

Since it is the brain that decides what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste, we are not free, but something fabricated and controlled by it to believe, we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and not the formlessness of that which is one.

Hence there is nothing to heal but the sick belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which is done by connecting with the empty breath in the second before the brain fabricate a conscious experience of us, as if we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This does not mean, that the empty breath is the formlessness of that which is one, as it takes more than one to be anything, but that it metaphorically speaking is the door to that which is one, where there is no being, awareness or anything else that requires more than one.

The brain deceives you to fence off the bliss of the empty breath

When the brain every now and then screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the movement of your eyes, it fills the gaps based on past memories. But as they most often have been heavily edited, the story fabricated by the brain to fill in the gaps may clash with the story of the present, so that the discrepancy makes you feel, that something is wrong in you or the world. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You are literally blind at least two hours a day
You are probably not aware, that every now and then throughout the day you are literally blind, because the brain screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the eyes are moving around. The reason you do not notice being blind two hours a day is that the brain hides it by filling the gaps with visual impressions of what it predicts to happen.

Not you but the brain is in charge
In the first episodes of a new TV show there are hints pointing to the forthcoming ones, and as the brain thrives from envisaging what is going to happen next, it is trapped into anticipating the future of the characters and thus enchanted by its own predictions into a state of amusement.

The writers of Game of Thrones try to hook you up and fence of the bliss of the empty breath

The writers of ´Game of Thrones´ want us to bond emotionally with the characters, so that we feel attracted to them, as if they are real and not just a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But the future of the characters does not turn out as predicted by the brain, because the writers of the show do not comply with their own hints, when writing the next episodes. Thus the fate of the characters becomes a mystery, that the brain hopes to unravel in the following episodes, wherefore it compels you to stick with the show until the very end. In other words, it is not you but the brain that is in charge.

But as the predictions fabricated by the brain to fill the gaps of blindness basically are a remix of memories, that have been adjusted every time recalled in order to boost the story of you as the good one fighting the bad ones, it may not match the story others have of the same moments.

In case the brain does not receive enough data from the eyes to produce the image you expect to see, it draws on your past experiences to fabricate what it predicts that you want to see.

Consequently, you conclude, something is wrong in your story or in that of others, wherefore you start trying to correct what is judged to be wrong.

Most likely you do not read this article, but what your brain predicts you want to read.

There is nobody in the bliss of the empty breath

There is nobody to find in the story of your life as someone definitive because it is pure fiction. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The more you seem to be successful in this, the more you believe, that the story can be shaped in such a way, that it comes out with a better version of you. Yet no matter how it is changed, the story remains a fantasy, and so is the idea that it has an author.

Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, a dream does not have an author or anything in it, neither the dreamer, nor it is in the dreamer or anywhere else. It is a deception made to look as if nothing is something.

The world is not something we see but a construction of thoughts arranged by the brain in accordance with its translation of the signals it seems to receive from the eyes. The same applies to what we believe to hear, feel, smell and taste. More about this in the article All experiences are equally unreal.

Fortunately the brain is not capable of translating the empty breath, so when connected with that and thus in its indifference, we are not deceived by the construction of thoughts produced by the brain to make us believe we are somebody limited by time and space.

In the bliss of the empty breath the belief in duality is undone

In a state of not-knowing it is not possible for the brain to establish the usual consciousness of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. This does not mean, however, that the consciousness of you as someone definitive is replaced by something better or higher but by no consciousness at all. Thus there is nobody to be conscious about the bliss that comes from not believing to be someone. That is why it is like air walking in air. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no awareness of differences in a state of not-knowing
In a state of not-knowing you are blind in the sense, that there is no conscious experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thankfully this is resolved by the empty breath and not the brain, which records the signals it assumes to receive from senses like it always does, but as the connectedness with the empty breath fences off the fabrication of a conscious experience of them, there is no awareness of how the brain categorise the different signals in contrasts of for example good or bad, right or wrong, love or hate, within and without and so on.

Though a world where there seems to be more than one is seen in the usual way when in a state of not-knowing, its apparent differences are not believed to make a difference. Thus there is no experience of being someone definitive and therefore nobody to be happy, sad or anything else.

This does not mean that there are no feelings. but that nobody relate them to them as if they make a difference.

Consequently, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, cannot be judged to make a difference, wherefore there is nothing special to love or hate and thus nothing specific to worry about.

The bliss of the empty breath is the bliss of nothing

When the body, that you appear to be living in, again and again drops something, you could be defined to be clumsy. If you believe this and feel guilty about it, you may want to change it.

But as every effort to improve yourself is based on the belief, that there is something wrong with you, your efforts are not changing this belief but enhancing it. This, however, you secretly accept, because even though you do not like to be defined as clumsy, it is preferable to not being defined, as that means you are nobody.

Yet being nobody, there is not somebody to be clumsy or something else. There is just emptiness, and that is pure bliss.

The bliss of the empty breath is not the end station

A state of not-knowing is not the end station, but a way to see that there is no end and that everything appearing to have an end is an illusion, as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no more than that which is one
Be aware, that the connectedness with the empty breath is not similar to being connected with that which is one, since the latter is not possible, as it takes more than one to be connected with something.

The connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath is simply a way to overlook the apparent differences fabricated by the brain so that they are not judged to make a difference, and a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, does not appear to establish the belief in separation.

Going with the flow of the empty breath is just as easy as going with the flow of sex. The latter though does not result in the undoing of the belief, that you are someone definitive, unless the orgasm is used to ignite a take-off to the empty breaththe empty breath<//i>. In the sense that no thinking is needed, following the flow of the empty breath is no different from following the flow of the genitals. The result of the latter though is the enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it.

This is not to say though, that sex should be avoided (see Holding back to not ejaculate is just another physical manifestation – but without the physical thrill of it), because the exclusion of sex or anything else adds to the definition of you as someone definitive. In orgasm, however, can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you do not hold back, but are nothing else than the orgasm.

But despite the connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath, therefore, undoes the belief in separation, it is also enhancing it, because it requires more than one to connect with something.

The problems, you seem to have, do not come from the world where you believe to be, but from the belief that you are someone there. Hence the solution to all problems is the same, namely the undoing of that belief.

The same applies to let go of the connectedness with the empty breath or whatnot, so to not enhance the belief in separation but having it undone, you do not choose to connect with the empty breath or something at all, which means you are connected with nothing and thus in the flow of the empty breath.

PART 1:
Exclusiveness is imperfection and inclusiveness is perfection. This does not mean that everything included is perfect. None of the parts is perfect – nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one is, but when all parts are included it is a perfect moment.

This is not to say, you must include every small detail of a world where there seems to be more than one, but that you include everything as you perceive it. So-called negative thoughts are included as well as the so-called positive ones. Both past and future are included*. But if you out of habit exclude something, you do not have to correct that habit. You just included your habit of excluding.

To make long short: If you do not try to control and escape the moment as it is by excluding what you judge to be wrong, you have no needs and so your life is effortless.

That you have no needs does not mean, that you may not want something, but that you are not attached to getting it but the flow of the moment, as it is without any correction.

That being said, there is no flow, because there is no world. It only appears so, because you have chosen to perceive it like that. Consequently, the flow is in your perception.

That is why your perception is the moment. In other words, you are the master. It is you, who decide every moment is the perfect moment.

You may seem to climb around naked in your dream, but you´re not. You´re doing nothing. You´re in your bed.

PART 2:
Ultimately it really does not matter, if you experience to live in the now, a perfect moment, the past or whatever. You are not someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. There is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, as formlessness is endless, so a world where there seems to be more than one is not real. So what you think you do ´there´ is of no importance.

While you appear to be ´there´, however, it may matter in regards to what kind of person, you pretend to be. A nice personality makes it more tolerable to pretend to be a person ´there´, but that is all there is to it. But ultimately nothing will help you return to the formlessness of that which is you.

You have not left the formlessness of that which is you. It is not possible – but it seems possible to imagine it and pretend to be a person in a world where there are more than one. Imagining this, nobody in that world can help you return to that which is you they are only in your imagination and so are you as someone definitive ´there´. Just like within the context of such a world, the person you appear to be ´there´ is not its dreams.

The person you seem to be in a dream may be travelling around the world, but all the time you are actually the same place, namely in your bed – and the person in the dream may seem to be upset or happy, but no matter what this person is going through, the one having the dream, while laying in the bed, remains the same.

To make long short, enjoy pretending to be someone definitive in the world in the way you see fit, but do not take it seriously, and do not think there is a way out. There is no way at all because you are not ´there´.

PART 3:
It is not (good) enough
or there must be more are the two common mantras of the seeker – and it is also the foundation the world is built on. No moment is not good enough as it is. Something has to be done about it to make it better. Love, for example, has to be more unconditional, pure or whatnot.

A perfect moment has no limitations contrary to the popular idea of living in the now, which is something you forever can try to achieve but never obtain, as it is based on having to keep on excluding the past and the future.

A perfect moment can last a split second, while you are saying »Fuck you« – or it can last up to 45 minutes while you are having a daydream about tomorrow. It includes the past as well as the future. In fact including is what it is all about – or rather not to exclude, as that means everything is included.

So if you do not exclude anything at this moment, no matter if it contains thoughts about the past and the future or if they are positive or negative, then there is nothing to define you in the present. Hence there is nobody to experience it. In other words, you are a state of not-knowing.

Meditation or others techniques supposed to make you spiritual will not get you there, because those ways are about excluding something, so a state of mind can be obtained in the future and not in this very moment. Hence they are making separation real and therefore you as someone special in a world of duality. In other words, the so-called spiritual techniques prolong the agony of being someone definitive instead of undoing the belief in being this.

The only reason you choose to block out the present by excluding part of it and space out in ideas of a better world to come is that you think, there is more than this moment. And your search will go on until you acknowledge you are mistaken.


*) If you have conditioned yourself within the concepts of living in the now, you may think a perfect moment is a point squeezed in between the past and the future. This idea of living in the now, however, is based on exclusion, whereas a perfect moment is inclusive and therefore includes both the past and the future. A perfect moment may last a split second, or as long as a kiss lasts, or a daydream lasts. There are no rules but to be inclusive. Should you forget that, you just include your forgetfulness.

Oneness has no choices, as that requires more than one – and that is why, it is nothing but peace

The appearances in a virtual world like a video game seem more exciting than the appearances in the world – and the world of duality seems more exciting than non-duality.

To appear as a hero in a virtual world like a video game seems often more exciting than what one appears to be in the physical world – just like being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, may seem more exciting than having nothing but the peace that which is one. As oneness is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is one, and as it takes more than one to experience something, any experience – falling in love, having a high consciousness or being transformed into to this and that – is an illusion.

For the same reason, there is nowhere to go. But as nothing is missing in that which is one, since it is endless and therefore everything, it is not necessary to go anywhere. That is why it is one perpetual present of peace.

In one perpetual present no one is special and no one takes up more space than another one, because there is no more than that which is one.

One perpetual present is not exciting though. There is nothing to search for, explore and be excited about because there is no future. Everything is there simultaneously in one eternal now. But most of all because it is not possible to be someone specific in one perpetual present, as that requires differentiation, so there is nobody to explore and be excited about anything, That is why it is nothing but peace.

As it requires more than one to describe something, that which is one cannot be described, so the above description should not be taken literally. Neither should it be taken as a pointer to that which is one, as it also requires more than one to point to something. In this context, the description or any other in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings rather points towards the illusion of experiencing, realising or understanding something at all, as that requires more than one.

A world where there seems to be more than one can within the framework of such a world be compared to a video game, that you play when you want something more exciting than reality. And as long as you find excitement in exploring the deeper levels of the virtual world of such a game, you will keep playing it.

The more you play such a game, however, the more you will feel lost, because to get excited you must give up that which is real and pretend to be someone in a virtual world. In other words, the price of excitement is to give up the peace of oneness, since excitement can only be experienced where there seems to be more than one.

The excitement of more versus the peace of no more that which is one
As it takes more than one to be excited about something and as peace is that which is one there is no excitement in oneness. Hence you cannot get both of them. In fact, you cannot get any of them, since it requires more than one to get something.

Fortunately, you do not need to get peace, because that which is you is no different from that which is one and oneness is nothing but peace. But if you think that there must be more than one, you are always in need of excitement as it seems to prove there is more than one. Yet you are never satisfied. There always seems to be more levels explore and more to transform, when you believe there is more than that which is one.

You must acknowledge, where you have chosen to be in order to be able to undo your choice.

You are not the victim of the world, neither of the ego, so before you can have the belief that you are someone definitive undone, you must acknowledge, that it is you who have chosen to believe so. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You may blame the world for never getting enough. Yet that is not the cause but the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. It is you who choose to believe this, and this choice you will not be motivated to change as long as there is hope for new experiences of excitement triggered by for example a very special person, the latest gadget or the promise of a new and deeper way to transform what you appear to be into something better and/or higher.

When you know, that no lasting excitement to get in the future and that it was you who started this endless quest for more, you are ready to not get excited and make a choice for peace.

Well, you cannot choose that, but you can choose to not choose what is not peace, namely whatever that seems to excite you.

A way to start undoing the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is to question yourself, if more excitement is equal to less suffering.

You may be a fool running after more, but you are not stupid, so when you see that more is never enough and whatever you get more of entails more suffering, you will automatically correct the belief that more it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

The above is not meant to make you fill guilty about wanting more (or less) than that which is one. To do so is part of appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so you are just doing what you are supposed to do. The question, however, is if you are getting what you are supposed to get. If not, you can choose to not choose what appears to be more than one.

You are not in a hurry though. Time is an illusion and as there is no more than that which is one, this is still that which is you, even though a world where there seems to be more than one seems to hide it.

APPENDIX:
Greed for being or having more is what keeps you going in a world, where there seems to be more than one, but it is also what makes your frustrated, because no matter how much how much more you become or get, it is not enough. You need more, and it must be larger, better, faster, wilder, deeper or purer. You are afraid of not getting it, and if you get it, you are afraid of losing it. Even if you do not lose it, you are afraid it is not good enough. In other words, the price of being and/or having more is suffering.

If you are stranded in a desert, there is no lasting solution but to leave it. The same applies to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one. There is no real solution to the constant fear of not having enough because nothing lasts in such a world. You need to sleep, again and again, you need more and more food and so on.

It is not the world as such, you need to leave in order to have enough and not be afraid of losing what you have. It is the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, that needs to be undone so that this belief does not appear to hide there is no more the peace of that which is one.

Undoing this belief is not an act of doing or not doing something, as it is not possible to be or have more than that which is one. In other words, you should not go with your own speed in your own time, because only in a world where there seems to be more than one, can you have something of your own.

Peace is all there is when you do not believe in something

Tantra sex is a way to cut away the longing for fulfillment. However to practice tantra sex is an excitement in itself, so the result will not be peace. But without excitement you have no need for a climax, and so you will not command the body to produce an orgasm. Consequently there is no need to practise tantra sex. Without excitement you will never be disappointed.

Without the longing for excitement, the moment is good enough as it is – and that is so peaceful, that there is no need for commanding the body to produce an orgasm. PART 1:
To indulge in excitement is to escape from the present, as it takes more than one to feel excited, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Besides that, excitement is always about something you are looking forward to in the future, imagining what it will be like if you, for example, a certain man/woman will love you. Should that happen, you start to imagine how exciting it will be to move together, have babies, a holiday cottage and whatnot.

Along the way, you may also imagine how excited your parents or friends will be for what you have achieved. But in reality, you have not achieved anything. That is why you keep looking for new ways to get excited, instead of realising that no matter how exciting you get, you do not feel at peace.

There is no excitement in peace because you do not look forward to something new when at peace. Excitement is imagination about something, that will fulfil you in the future. Peace though is not an imagination, and it cannot come in the future, neither can it fulfil you. Not to worry. There is no need for fulfilment because peace is one perpetual present – and that is all there is.

If it seems that this part of the article misses an end, it could be because peace never cares to finish anything, as it is that which is one, and oneness never ends.

Esoteric techniques like meditations are for those who care about how their person appear in the world. Using techniques like that are just a more refined version of the old desire to be the ruler of the world. But if it is an illusion, which is the idea behind most esoteric techniques, no appearance in the universe – including chakra, kundalini and whatnot – is real. Neither is any healing of anything in the world.

Esoteric techniques like meditations are for those who care about how they appear in a world where there seems to be more than one. Using techniques like that are just a refined version of the old desire to the master of the universe. But if the world is an illusion, which is the idea behind most esoteric techniques, there is nothing to rule and no appearance in the world – including chakra, kundalini and whatnot – is real. PART 2:
If you have the need to use tantra in order to not get an orgasm or use other techniques like meditation to stop your desire for the peak experiences of a world where there seems to be more than one, you are very far from returning to that which is you, because if that is what you want, you do not care if you have an orgasm or any other experience of climax in such a world. Consequently, there is no need to avoid anything.

Tantra, meditation, chanting, tai chi and similar esoteric ways of controlling what you appear to be are for those who want to escape their self-hatred by enforcing an appearance of being spiritual – just like the bodybuilder forces changes in the body to escape the feeling of being wrong.

But no technique is needed to return to that which is you, since no return is needed, as that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, and as formlessness is endless there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Hence it is not possible to leave it, so if you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not real. In other words, there is nothing to leave but the belief that it is.

A relaxed body has no need of the climax of an orgasm – but a tense body has and if you believe this body to be yours, so do you. If you do not believe the body to be you, you do not need to identify with its needs and so you are free to to follow that which brings peace.

PART 3:
A physical orgasm is not gonna happen in a relaxed body but a tight one. This tightness is often caused by the control carried out to get what you want in the way you envision it should be, which seems very important when not looking for peace but excitement.

In other words, orgasm is only possible because you believe to be someone in a body and want to have this belief confirmed to be real through the excitement of an orgasm.

When you are in a state of indifference to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one, which you cannot enter yourself through meditation and other techniques of self-control but by going with the flow of one or more of the duality hacks,* as they undo the belief in being or having a self, experiencing the sensation of an orgasm is no more sensational than any other experience.

Thus the body is not in need of producing a specific physical climax. In other words, there is no ejaculation.

This is also what you want to confirm if you try to avoid having an orgasm via tantra or other so-called spiritual techniques, as there would be no reason to avoid it, if not believing to be someone in a body.

Hence not wanting to be someone in a body – whether that appears to be physical and whatnot – will dissolve the need for a bodily climax, because only those believing to be in a body need it to produce a specific reaction in order to be confirmed in being there.


*) You can, for example, apply hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life to become nobody. Be aware though that seeing everything as symbols of life, you stop being somebody. Thus there is nobody to find peace, for example, through meditation or a good sleep nor to find an outlet for anger in love or sex. Fortunately, it is not needed, because to be nobody is peace. This does not mean, that feelings of anger, desire and whatnot do not pop up, but since there is not somebody in charge, the feelings belong to nobody. Thus nobody is shaped by them.

+ Pretending is a way to reality

Pretending is in many ways considered to be bad – as if not being authentic. But since oneness is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is one. Thus nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one world is authentic but just as illusionary as anything else that seems to be separated from that which is one.

It is easy enough to know, there is no more than that which is one, because no matter how hard you have tried, you have never really been together with somebody else, except in your fantasy. In other words, there is nobody but you.

If that which is you is real it is not possible to be in a world that is not real. Yet it seems possible to pretend being ´there´ – just like an actor pretends to be someone he/she is not in a movie, or as you pretend to be someone you are not in a video game. In other words, everything you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one is something you pretend to be.

In reality it is not possible to pretend being someone you are not, because reality is that which is one and it takes more than one to pretend anything. In other words, a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy of yours. And then again it is not, because it takes more than one to have a fantasy.

Thus nobody is making a fantasy about a world where there seems to be more than one and nobody believes or pretend to be there – just like within the context of such a world nobody is making the dreams, you seem to be having while at sleep, and nobody including yourself is in those dreams, although they appear to be in you. If you want a further explanation of this see the next article Why you appear to be someone definitive is not explainable, because there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

Being partly aware of this is a way to reality. To be fully aware of it, however, there is no way or awareness anymore and never was, because that which is you is no different from that which is one, and as that is formless it is endless, the existence of you as someone in a world defined by time and space is an illusion – just like within the context of such an existence, the appearance of you in a dream is an illusion.

Examples of unconsciously pretending to be someone definitive
When you look for a new place to live and you see different possibilities, you may imagine what kind of person who used to live there and what kind of person you could be if living there.

What you pretend to be depends on what you imagine to be expected from you and what you believe to be in it for you.

At work you probably pretend to be the kind of person that fits in there socially and/or professionally, but when at work-out you probably pretend to somebody else. And going to the disco you may pretend to be yet another one.

When you make a pass on someone you probably start adjusting your behaviour in accordance to what seems to turn the other on so that you can pretend to be the exact person the other one has been looking for.

Suggesting to pretend being a person is to suggest something that everybody already are doing – so it may be more correct to suggest being aware about it.

So although you may not be aware of it, you are already pretending to be someone definitive. And being aware of it, you know that what you pretend to be, you are not. Hence the door to that which is you has been opened.

You may have a hard time accepting that there is nothing authentic about the person you have believed to be. But for sure you know that the energetic people in an advertisement for Coca-Cola pretend to be something they are not – also the actors in a theatre or a rock star on the stage. And the work associates who always agree with the boss. Plus all the beautiful people on social media. You probably also know, that you assure your kids that everything is fine, you are pretending this.

Maybe only your body is having sex with your partner. And you pretend to be there, while you think of somebody else.

An example of consciously pretending …
… that you may already know from your way as a person in a world where there seems to be more than one. You are having sex with your spouse but only your body is there. With eyes closed, you imagine it is somebody else you are having sex while pretending to be with your spouse.

Knowing that you pretend to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, no problems are real
Since what you pretend to be is not that which is you, it remains unchanged, whether you pretend to be compassionate or merciless.

To search for truth in a game like Monopoly is meaningless. There is nothing to realise there, because you are not ´there´. Yet that you can realise.

You already know this from playing games, for example Monopoly. You are not ´there´ but pretend that you are. It is all the same if you pretend to be a red or a blue car or how many scratches the car gets. It is not real and does not change that which is.

What you think you realise, only results in you pretending to be a new person. Nothing has really changed, because whatever you pretend, you are not. That is alright – and it is also alright to pretend being someone, who thinks it is alright.

To leave the illusion of the world,you first have to see,that you believe,you are ´there´. To leave the illusion of the world, you first have to see, that you believe to be ´there´. This you can see by knowingly pretend to be someone definitive, and when you have had enough of all the hard work it is to concentrate on pretending to be something you are not, you are ready not to focus on being what you are not. And without focus, there is no world to experience. Hence there is no experiencer hiding that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of that which was, is and always will be you. That which is one cannot be experienced
You may imagine, while you read this, what kind of person you should pretend to be, if you follow Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, and what kind of person you would pretend to be if we met – or the kind of person you are, who would not follow something like this.

To appear as if you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one demands much focus and control*, so if you are fed up with being someone in such a world, you simply cease to focus and control. This is done by being aware of what you already do, namely pretending to be what you appear to be, since that exposes what you are not, namely someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

There is no more than that which is one, so you are not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence the way out of such a world is to not know what and where you are.

It does that so clearly, that without further ado you cease to focus. In reality, this means that the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is over. But as the experience of such a world seems to happen in linear time, it appears to happen so gradually – probably over several years – that you are not even aware of not experience a world where there seems to be more than one focus – or anything else at all anymore. Because when there is nothing to experience, there is nothing to confirm you as someone definitive.

Thus nobody appears to hide there never was and never will be more than that which that which cannot be experienced, namely that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

APPENDIX:
When you do not perceive anything in the empty space**, that seems to be outside of that which is one, there is nothing but the idea of you as someone in charge of its own life. But without the perception of a world where there seems to be more than one to be outside of you, there is nothing to confirm your existence as someone definitive.

Thus this idea about being someone specific disappears in the nothingness of empty space. And as that means nobody is watching it, the apparent existence of something outside of that which is one is over.

Consequently, there is nothing to hide, there has never been anything outside of that which is one, neither inside, since it is formless and therefore without sides as well as beginning and end. Thus a world where there seems to be more than one has neither been created or terminated.

So in case you experience to be in such a world, it is not explainable, because it is not possible – just like within the context of such a world, it is not possible for a physical being to be in the world of a dream since that world is an illusion.

+ Pretending to be someone definitive is such a relief

It is meaningless to search for that which is you because it is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than that which is you.

Thus it is not possible to be something else than that which is you. However, it seems possible to believe that it is. If you want to have this belief undone, so nothing hides there is no more than that which is you, you must know what is not that which is you, so that is what you search for.

You do not like what you appear to be in a world where you believe to be. Something seems off, so you start searching for something to ease the pain of believing to be someone definitive instead of undoing this belief (see hack #3.3 Phasing out the personality by not being exclusive).

When you pretend to be someone definitive, nothing appears to hide that which is you
To search for that which is not you is very simple: Just keep on doing, what you are doing. What you appear to do, think and feel is what you are this very moment in the world where you believe to be.

Do not try to change or transform ´yourself´ or the world, but include the moment as it is, whether that seems to involve so-called good or bad thoughts and feelings regarding the past or the future (see hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment and hack #3.6 Inclusiveness is pure bliss).

If it seems as something is missing in the moment, you have gotten it right, because the world where you believe to be, builds on the idea that something is missing. Not suppressing this by blaming something or somebody for being wrong, you know what you have made yourself into, namely someone who feels wrong. Yet, that cannot be that which is you, because it is no different from that which is one and it takes more than one to feel wrong.

Even though you did not pretend to be someone definitive in the memories suffering being inflicted upon you, it is never too late to correct these memories, so the person who suffered was someone you pretended to be. Hence the suffering was not real and so it is not burden you anymore.

Knowing what you appear to be is not that which is you, you start pretending to be someone definitive instead of believing to be so. Thus nothing needs to be changed – just like nothing needs to be changed in a game like Monopoly. In fact, you enjoy pretending to be a car in a fake world, so there is no suffering unless you forget, that it is something you pretend.

Pretending to be someone definitive is so energetic
The way you used to think, feel and act is the same when you pretend to be someone definitive. But you do not identify with it anymore. It is the person, you pretend to be, that appears to think, feel and act. Everything, therefore, seems less serious and you airier, as though you appear to be in the world you are not of it. Nothing can happen to that which is you. Only the pretended person can die. And then again it cannot because it is not real.

The more you pretend to be someone definitive, the less you believe to be that. Hence you do not perceive it to make a difference whether you appear to be good or bad. Neither is death, when it knocks on your door, perceived to be different from life.

What you pretend to be you are not
The more you pretend to be someone definitive, the less real the world appears to be, and when death comes, it is as if you are nothing leaving a world of nothing. You cannot pretend to be someone anymore, because there is no experience of a world outside of you, neither is there anybody with a need to experience this, nor a memory of ever having experienced this, because what you pretend to be you are not.

No god is there to judge you. Nothing is waiting for you, because there is no more than that which is one. In other words, you are not returning to the formlessness of oneness, because you never left it.

In a world where there seems to be more than one you cannot have life without death, as death is what defines life in such a world. In other words, there is no life in a world where there seems to be more than one, because life never ends.

For the same reason, it is not the formlessness of oneness that is the afterlife, but a world where there seems to be more than one, since every bit of it is as lifeless or as virtual as what seems to be on the screen, that you are watching this moment. It is all make-believe and knowing that it is just as fun to pretend being a person in a fantasy world as to leave it.

A leg is a physical organ, and it will remain so even if you deny using all of it. Restricting it, however, will make it more rigid and it may wither, when not fully used.

Will a computer become anything else than a computer, just because you do not turn it on? No. Nothing has changed.

Will a flower seed become a carrot seed, if you plant it among carrots. No. You are fooling yourself!

Will the instincts that result in a hard penis, become anything else than what they are, if you try not to ejaculate. No. You are just avoiding the relief of going with the flow.

That which is you is formless spirituality, and as formlessness is endless, that which is you is everything. Hence it is not possible to be in a limited physical thing like a body. It is, however, possible to imagine so, but no matter what the body appears to do or not to do it is part of the same imagination. Thus changing, transforming or transcending you or the world is an illusion.

You may think, that you will transcend to a higher level and become more spiritual when using tantra* and similar techniques to not ejaculate. On the contrary. By denying the body the pleasure of letting go, you enhance the belief, that physicality is something and spirituality nothing.

No need to hold back anything in a world that is nothing but make-believe
The suppression of ejaculation is often done because it is imagined that by holding back the sperm a spiritual transformation will take place. But spirituality does not need you to change anything. On the contrary. Spirituality undoes the foolish idea, that change is possible. That which is you is no different from the formlessness of spirituality, and what does not have a form cannot be changed. It is, however, possible to believe so.

Whatever part of something unreal you change or transform, what you seem to achieve is just as unreal. It is a replacement of one illusion with another.

But the undoing of this belief has nothing to do with changing something. On the contrary, changes confirm the belief in not being formless but someone definitive. This also applies to transform what you believe to be via meditating, for example.

If you know, that which is you is spiritual, you know the physical world is not real. Hence you have no desire to change, transcend or transform anything in it. Nor are you are afraid of committing to the moment as it appears to be in a physical world and have an orgasm if that is what the moment gives rise to.

To think that there is something to change or transcend is part of the belief, that it is possible to be what you are not.

There is no reason to be afraid of commitment to something in a physical world, as it is nothing but make-believe (read more about that here). Just like – within the context of such a world – there is no reason not to commit yourself to the ways of a game like for example Monopoly. It is all about taking everything from everybody but whatever you win or lose is not real. You will therefore neither be less physical or more spiritual by changing anything in the game.

Shoot to thrill
Everything in the sea is wet, so it makes you or the protective cover you may be wearing wet. That is the nature of water. No degree of control will change that. If you do not want to be wet, you have to leave the water. It is as simple as that.

No matter in what way a physical appearance is changed it remains physical. So if you do not want to be physical, you must leave the physical world, which is not done by doing or not doing something physical, but by not believing that it is real. Period.

Nobody is forcing you to appear as if you are a limited physical being. Therefore, if you seem to be so, the conclusion must be, that this is what you want – so why not honour your own wish and give it your best shot.

And if you do not believe, that it is you giving it, but something you pretend to do, then you are quite spiritual, because what you pretend to do, you do not do.

APPENDIX about sex and a state of not-knowing:
In a state of not-knowing** you can more or less do what you are used to, but having sex, for example, you will not have an orgasm because everything is fine as it is so there is no need for a sensational end.

It does not work the other way around. Exercising tantra* sex and whatnot to suppress orgasm will not bring about a state of not-knowing. Anyway, those doing that do not want it. They are not into going with the flow but to be in control and that is not possible in a state of not-knowing.

For that reason, one could say it is hazardous to enter a state of not-knowing.* The brain is still working in the background but as the self, it has created to experience its thought construction making up a tangible world, cannot be reached its whole system falls apart. As things, therefore, tends to happen in the disordered way of a dream, your cats may not get their breakfast.

But since a state of not-knowing cannot last for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,* if you want to be able to return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, and since you come back as the basic self*** your cats will soon get a terrific breakfast.

And being a basic self,*** sex will bring about a terrific orgasm and you will really enjoy the physical thrill of it.
