You are set free from duality when you do not know what and where you are

In a world of duality, there is no compassion without brutality

With eyes closed, you may still see images of the world because the brain does not need information from your sensory system to produce them. This is just something it claims to distract you from realising, that it has created all your experiences of something from out of nothing (read more about that here). That includes the experiences perceived to be spiritual and those implying you are someone definitive. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since it requires more than one to have a shape, oneness is formless and therefore endless. And since it also calls for more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one, the awareness of something is an illusion. This hallucination, however, seems to become real when oneness is imagined being split into two, an observer and the observed, as they appear to confirm the existence of each other. Hence the observer concludes that it must go on separating to be alive.

But doing so destroys the pairs of opposites that oneness originally was split into, so each side could define the other, and their interaction would produce a full experience of duality. Hate, for example, was paired with love to define the experience of that. When the link is broken, however, there is no hate to define love, wherefore it feels incomplete.

That is why the observer presses on to find real love until it realises, that hate and love are two sides of the same coin, so you cannot have one without the other. Nor can you have peace without a fight, relief without an ache, action without inaction, perfection without imperfection, and so on. As love, therefore, cannot be felt without hate, you deceive yourself if you claim to only feel love. It is a mental concept you have plugged into by thinking about hugging, for example, and holding on to the thoughts that confirm a theoretical idea of pure love. Fortunately, you do not need to understand the nature of duality, if you want to undo the belief that separation is possible. On the contrary, since it requires more than one to understand something, it is not knowing what and where you are, that undoes this belief.

All the duality hacks take you back one second in linear time to the nothingness from where the brain has fabricated your present experience. In this case, that you are someone definitive who now reads, it took the brain one second to invent this experience from out of nothing (read more about that here). Being empty, though, you are in the bliss of non-being. Thus the experience is not perceived to be something.

You cannot bid welcome the enlihtenment of that which is one when you want to exist because it takes more than one to be alive. This does not mean you need to die. That also calls for more than one.

If you remain in this state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, the enlightenment of that which is one set in. Read more about that in hack #6.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one. The enlightenment of that which is one does not alter or transform anything, as that requires more than one. Instead, it wipes out everything that calls for more than one. Hence there is nobody to be aware of a fantasy about somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and, therefore, not somebody who appears to hide, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Leaving a state of not-knowing before the enlightenment of that which is one set in, you return to the fantasy of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one with the slate wiped clean. Read more about that in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end.

Thus you start from the ground up, moving very slowly as if you practise qigong. Unlike that, however, your stretching has no other purpose than to fine-tune the body as a tool for the experience of duality. This dedication to duality is also why you do not attempt to pull apart the pairs making up the experience of it but comply with their synergy to get the full experience of duality. The collaboration of love and hate, for example, fix you up with the complete experience of a relationship.

If memories from your childhood is the basis for your perception of a movie you watch as a grown-up, you are out of sync with its plot. It, therefore, seems to make you frustrated rather than entertained. Fortunately, this is corrected right away if you perceive the plot, or your judgment of it, as it is what it is.

This perception makes the plot amusing no matter how it evolves because you are in sync with the itt as it is and not as what you think it is. Likewise, when the brain´s script is perceived as ´it is what it is.´ Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

Like a movie, the experience of polarity unfolds as scripted by the director. Since that is not you, there is nothing you can change but your perception of it. When that is in sync with the script as it is, which it automatically is when the slate has been wiped clean, the director of the script, namely the brain, rewards you with shots of happiness for supporting it. Eventually, this makes you so relaxed that you have no more to ask for. Hence the belief in being and having more than that which is one has been undone while you had fun experiencing more than one.

All experiences, including those perceived to be spiritual, are bogus because it takes more than one to be conscious of something and there is no more than that which is one. The same, of course, applies to this or any other explanation in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. None of them are true.

Nor the explanation about imagining oneness being split in two. Since it is impossible, there is nothing to undo but the belief that separation is possible. That is why Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings gladly confirm, they are nothing, and, therefore, do not have something to enhance the belief in separation, so it is phased out the more you read them.

Somebody cannot bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, but nobody can

When every experience is perceived as a symbol of that which is one, none of them has the power to fend off the enlightenment of that which is one, because symbols are powerless. See hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Fear and other emotions may seem to be a hindrance for the enlightenment of that which is one. It is not the emotions, though, that fend it off but that you believe they are yours. That which is you does not feel anything because it takes more than one to do so, and it is no different from that which is one. For the same reason, that which is you does not think, nor is it conscious of anything.

This does not mean, you should try to stop this. First of all, that which is you cannot stop anything as that calls for more than one. Secondly, while you appear to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not possible to stop being aware of feelings and thoughts since that is what makes you appear to be there.

It is, of course, possible to deny the awareness of thoughts and feelings by meditating, for example. But whether you establish yourself to be someone who has something or nothing, you are definable and thus in denial of that which is you, as oneness is formless.

Pretending to be someone, on the other hand, what you have is not yours because what you pretend to be you are not. Thus nobody is having thoughts and feelings or being conscious of anything. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. Consequently, nobody bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

This is not the only way to become a nobody. As everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, there is no fear without trust, so if you are so full of fear that there is nothing else, it cannot be defined by trust. Therefore, since you are full of nothing, you are not somebody but nobody. See hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is completeness.

You could also stick to being the basic self by perceiving any kind of experience, whether it appears mundane or spiritual, as ´it is what it is.´ See hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. Since that means emotions do not stick to you, they do not fend off the enlightenment of that which is one. Nor will they prevent you from having a marvellous time in a world where there seems to be more than one until the enlightenment of that which is one erases everything that requires more than one.

You do not need to refrain from sex or anything else to make these or any other duality hack work. If you are willing to have the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, the duality hacks apply themselves, the more you read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

The willingness comes by itself when you admit, you are not willing to have this belief undone because the acknowledgement of that confirms what and where you appear to be is make-believe.

APPENDIX:
Since the application of the above duality hacks requires more than one, they are as illusionary as anything else in a world in a world of duality, including the writer and reader of this. The purpose of them, however, is not to make us seem like we are somebody but that we, just like anything else that calls for more than one, are nothing because non-duality is formless and therefore endless so there is no more than that which is one.

The bliss of emptiness is only one second away

What you believe in experiencing right now happened one second ago because it has taken the brain a second to produce your present experience. And then again, it did not happen because the brain created it from nothing, and not from info received from your sensory system. The latter the brain presents as a fact and you believe it because otherwise you are exposed as nothing. Read more about that in Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´.

The bliss of emptiness is, therefore, only one second away. Going back a second requires nothing but to perceive your present experience as dunno what it is (read more about this in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy). Doing that, the undefined moment ignites a take-off to the empty breath (see hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing), that reveals the nothingness from where the brain produces the experiences where you appear to be somebody in a world of something.

It is not a revelation where emptiness is exposed. But where something is exposed as nothing. Not in the sense that you stop seeing something but that you perceive it as nothing. In the absence of something, you do not appear to be somebody, but nobody walking on blissful clouds of frictionless love. Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment

There is no life in the world. It is to be compared to a dream, which, no matter how beautiful it may appear, is an illusion.

Although the formlessness of that which is one is the power making it possible to simulate a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not feasible for it to be in the simulation – just like it is not possible for the street simulated in this image to be in the picture, or for a dreamer to be in a dream.

When the formlessness of life is perceived as the sole cause of any experience – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – you never play somebody else´s game. Even if it may seem so, they are not the reason for what you appear to do and say. Neither is the person you seem to be.

There is only one reason for your apparent thoughts, feelings, conversations and actions, namely the formlessness of life. In other words, it is not someone definitive who thinks, feels, says or does something.

As life is formless and thus without beginning and end, everything definable is lifeless. Yet everything without life symbolises it, because there is no more than the formlessness of life.

This does not mean that it is the formlessness of life that thinks, feels, says or does something. But that it is the energy that makes it possible to experience as if someone is doing this, although there is no more than the formlessness of life since formlessness has no beginning or end.

Neither does it mean that you have found the formlessness of life in a world defined by time and space, but that everything there is perceived to be a symbol of it. As both the experiencer and the experienced therefore are symbols of that which makes it possible to perceive a world where the formlessness of life seems to be divided into more than one, the apparent differences in such a world do not make a difference.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

Hearing or feeling the echo of life
Appearing in a world defined by time and space as a symbol of the formlessness of life, you do not pump up the volume of music to hear or feel it, but to be reminded that it is the formlessness of life that makes it possible to have the experience of hearing and feeling something.

The echo of oneness does not reveal what that which is one is, but what it is not, namely the nothingness in which you believe to be someone definitive in a tangible world.

This is not to say that the formlessness of life can be heard and/or felt in a world defined by time and space. It is not possible to hear or feel formlessness. But it is possible to listen to the echo of it coming from the edge of the universe. This unpronounceable vibration, which often is symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God, is heard or felt when you are more attentive to the world of the inner senses than that of the outer ones.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally meant to symbolise one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be someone in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

Since none of the aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration coming from the edge of the universe is not the enlightenment of that which is one but a glimpse of it. Neither is seeing or tasting the enlightenment of that which is one, since it is an experience and therefore just as illusionary as any other experience (see All experiences are equally unreal).

But as these illusionary glimpses of enlightenment are not of the world experienced by the outer senses but by the inner senses, experiencing them from there while still being aware of the world of the outer senses, they can undo the deception of the outer senses – not abruptly like the enlightenment of that which is one, but little by little. In the world of the outer senses you must always plan for the future in order to uphold the illusion of linear time.

The more the outer senses that perceive a world defined by time and space is turned inwards, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inner senses. This is why it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (you can read more about the illusion of time by clicking here) – where the echo of the primordial vibration that Aum, Sohang, or The Word of God symbolises is used to create a fantasy of a world constructed by time and space in such a way that it seems to be genuine until you hear or feel this echo.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of god or rather one perpetual present is symbolised by the word ´Aum´ or ´Sohang´ and in the New Testament by ´The Word of God´: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one perceives ´The Word´ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on experiencing the world of the outer senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is an echo of the formlessness of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. This includes the vibration often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. It is as close to you as anything else experienced in the world of the outer senses, as the world of the inner senses is not ruled by time and space. Thus you can go directly to the edge of the universe and hear or feel the formlessness of that which is one coming out of a black hole. It is also there that you see or taste it.

One way to turn the outer senses inwards to hear or feel the echo of oneness is to not be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or rather are willing to do so – the sum of everything in the world of the outer senses is heard as a humming coming from the edge of the universe. It sounds or feels like nothing and everything at the same time.

In such a perfect moment, you appear to be both in the world of the outer and inner senses at the same time but without any sense of separation between them. A perfect moment though, is not a moment where you are filled up with new energy or anything else since you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Being that, however, you feel relieved.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do this without spending years of meditating, chanting and whatnot.

Be aware that the ways described in this article to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will not work, if you look forward to be or have more in a spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic way. This does not mean, you must avoid being or having more but not care about how much.

The third eye
Appearing in the world as a symbol of life, you do not close your eyes to go to sleep, but to see glimpses of the formlessness of life, which is done via the inner sense called the third eye, that is a single ´eye´ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this makes sense to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. Yet he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – have no energy to focus, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome by completely closing down the outer senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he in his early 20s returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to close the outer senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say that from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can close the visual outer sense and open the inner eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. It is best to do this in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outer senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having an inner vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so that there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, because formlessness has no end.

As the sense of sight is always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search around in the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle down at a light show expose at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

If no contrasts are perceived at all the colours turn into a white light, that is so bright that it is not contrasted by something or illuminating anything. That is the enlightenment of that which is one.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inner senses, that is above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger across each eyeball from outer corner to inner, while having the forefinger on the third eye.

But this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures will open the third eye.

None of the inner senses can be reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. Deactivating the outer senses, however, can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems to be helpful in this regard by all means go for it. Yet the fastest way to deactivate the outer senses is to not know what and where you are.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When you momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nobody to prevent glimpses of enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, which extracts all thoughts, that you have hold onto in order to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so that there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of that which is one.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at al. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that can be experienced as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland, that appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the enlightenment of that which i one, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, neither consciousness, because to experience or be consciousness about something requires more than one.

If you want to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you must pick up the thought construction, that was left at the edge of a black hole before you entered it, in order to be shaped as someone definitive.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is not another side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not enlightened. Yet, due to your vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, that you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But you will for sure grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and that anything appearing there – including the appearance of you as someone definitive – therefore is an illusion.

Appearing in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is one, you do not perceive music to be a means to joy but as a means to be reminded of the airy music full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the inner world of the senses, that opens up when the outer senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense that the first sentence of this quote refers to ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´, and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

As Alexius has no intellectual knowledge of religious scripts most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to inner music.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close the outer sense of hearing. Alexius personally prefer in-ear headphones, though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way of closing the outer sense of hearing and open the inner one is to put both thumbs in your ears or simply use a noise-cancelling headphone or an in-ear headphone, and then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal harmonies coming to you from what may seem to be far away.

For tuning in, it is best not to go with the vibrations appearing to come from the left ear, as they often are the sounds of a busy mind, but instead follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of your right ear. That being said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies but the humming symbolised by ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´. If so, follow this glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one.

It could also be that the only thing you ´hear´ is your thoughts. Yet you have no thoughts of your own. That is something the special self wants you to believe so that although they are solely made by the brain, you believe you have created them. Just like you tend to believe a dream is made by you, although you do not have any control over it, except for how to perceive it.

As the special self lives from separation, it cannot survive inclusion, so if there is no attempt to edit the thoughts fabricated by the brain by excluding those that do not fit into the perception of being special and instead include them all as they are, there is nothing to make the self special. Therefore, it is in the basic mode, where it automatically is in sync with the thoughts produced by the brain.

Consequently, they do not disturb you from hearing empty space as eternal harmonies – or, if in touch with one of the other inner senses, experiencing it as light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy. That being said, just like even though nothing disturbs you from hearing the sound of the ocean, to notice it, you must want to listen to it.

Tasting the sweetness of life helps you not focus on the world of the outer senses so that glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner ones become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outer senses. Since this results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no differentiation between you and the world you experience. The taste of life
Appearing in the world as a symbol of oneness you are not tasting the most exquisite food to get delicate experiences from that, but to be reminded about the taste of life, which in the world can be compared to the taste from foam of a milkshake with a few drops of honey added to it or to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

To compare a taste to something else is a very individual thing, so you may not compare the inner taste to that of liquorice.

To describe a taste by comparing it to another taste is a very individual thing. In other words, you may not compare the taste of life to a taste of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in the old scriptures, you should not expect it to make you more young or inject you with more energy in the world of the outer senses. Anyway, you are better off never to expect more of anything, as that which is you is no different from that which is one, and since it is formlessness and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is one. Hence looking for more is an illusion based on the belief that there is more than that which is one.

One way of undoing this belief is to not focus because without it, a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be perceived, and so it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the taste of life is very beneficial in regards to defocusing.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of life, provided you are already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted or most teas including liquorice.

As already mentioned, the taste of life can be compared to enjoying the transparent taste from the foam of a sweet milkshake. Sometimes, however, it is with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry, or mint, so none of the descriptions of it is definitive. In any case, it is best not to compare the taste of life or other glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and therefore cancels out the ever-present glimpses of enlightenment.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inner sense of taste does not only stop the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example more sweets. The taste of life is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste dripping from above. If you cannot get your tongue all the way, it is not a problem, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it.

The taste of life unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there, because it cutbacks the need to focus and also the longing for more. As a side effect it diminishes the craving for sweets as well. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques will work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe several months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way, which may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

You do not have to literally replicate the technique in above quote, where the taste of life is called Khechari Mudra. Neither do you actually need to be able to make the tongue go all the way behind the uvula. Pushing it as far as possible will do.

The way to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of its facets is not about perfection. Neither is it about how you breath, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outer senses. Yet things like that may be helpful in order to deactivate the outer senses.

But no technique in the world of the outer senses can deactivate them, if that is not the intention of executing the technique. In other words, first step is solely about intention, and if that is to deactivate the outer senses, there is nothing to hinder your trip into the world of the inner senses. Second step is to devote yourself to the amazing journey there.

The above about steps only applies to having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and not to bidding it welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

It is probably best to not be active in the world of the outer senses while having visions of light, as the visual glimpses of enlightenment can become so intense that the world of the outer senses hardly is sensed.

When the belief in being in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone, there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

However, the technique for tasting the sweetness of life can be carried out while being active in the world of the outer senses. The same applies to enjoy the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears and also hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you are not able to navigate there. But it probably feels like you do not have to and that you are carried around in a dream with no will of its own.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, where you no longer appear to be someone in a dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, neither do you appear to be in oneness since that requires more than one.

In other words, you are not someone at all, and there is no memory or consciousness of you ever having been that because it was all make-believe, and the belief is wiped out.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outer senses that you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry but in focus so that the experience becomes definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inner senses. Hence mixing the two worlds do not work out.

Focus versus defocus
The world of the outer senses needs you constantly concentrate and focus on it as if you are an autonomous creature in control of your own life. In the world of the inner senses, it is the other way around. It reveals itself when there is no effort to focus, concentrate and control.

But since it is also an act of control to continually trying not to focus to see, hear, feel or taste the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, so besides from getting a headache spreading out from the third eye from too much focus, the inner senses are fenced off.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inner and outer senses, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outer senses and space out in the world of the inner ones when nothing is required of you.

How to make this work between the inner and outer sense Alexius does not know because, through his connection with the empty breath, which functions as an automatic gear shifting between the inner and outer senses, it is automatically taking care of. See the last part of the article about the empty breath.

The belief that there are more than one blocks out that which is one
In a world where there seems to be more than one, the mixing of things may turn out to work well for you. But not in the world of oneness. As it requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of combining the different facets of the enlightenment of that which is one fence it off.

That being said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits regarding defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of enlightenment.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, there is no more than that which is one.

Ways to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one
Can the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one only be undone via the inner senses? No, it can also be undone via the world of the outer ones as described in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation, hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life, hack #3 Not being exclusive but inclusive is freedom from being someone definitive, hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality and hack #5.3 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

There might be other hacks other than The Duality Hacks that undo this belief. But as Alexius has not tried them, he cannot say if they work. Yet, the hacks based on second-hand knowledge from Buddhism and whatnot are most likely fake – especially if those promoting the hacks have beautiful visions about a hypothetical better future full of love, bliss and happiness because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

In other words, to be blissful, happy or full of love is an illusion, as it requires more than one to be anything at all.

The connection with the empty breath does not unite the outer and the inner senses. Still, it makes them synchronised, which among other things, means that what you used to judge as stressful in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressful when synched with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, because of the indifference coming from the empty breath.

Connecting with the empty breath is like going into a driverless car programmed to return to that which is one
The empty breath
´lifts´ you out of the belief in being someone definitive by automatically synchronise the outer and inner senses so that glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one become the basis for interpreting the world of the outer senses.

It is like being transported in a driverless car that is programmed to take you to your favourite aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one , so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

NOTES ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from where the quotes in this article are taken. He found them all by searching the internet.

When everything is included there does not appear to be something outside of you, neither inside of you, as that requires there something to be outside of you. In other words, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions. Neither new age philosophy, as they generally appear to be about excluding what is judged to be bad to become what is deemed to be better, purer or higher. Yoga techniques, for example, are often based on meditation or something else where what is not one is excluded. Theoretically speaking, this should leave out everything but the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness cannot exclude anything, this is not what you get from being exclusive.

The nature of ´the empty breath´ (in the process of being updated)

It may not always be your experience that the empty breath is your best friend because it is of no help regarding what and where you like to be. Instead, it helps you to see everything through its eyes of indifference, so you feel good no matter what and where you experience to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Entering the empty breath, you do not feel you go higher, but fall into the bliss of nothing.

PART 1:
The empty breath
is a life jacket you got from that which is one when you left it to be and have more than that. This, of course, is a metaphor because you cannot leave oneness since it is formless and therefore endless. Yet, it seems possible to imagine being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same, because you receive what you give and you give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

This life jacket, the empty breath, loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even see that. It is a fantasy that only can be seen by those believing to be somebody definitive. And it has no way of believing something because it is nothing. So, consequently, this is what it sees.

To see nothing is to love everything and thus feel loved by nothing. That is why the empty breath does not crave love from anybody. You, however, need to love it if you want to feel, you are unconditionally loved as someone definitive.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you probably forget to check the lottery, for example. And when you do, you smile regardless you won or not, because in the flow of the empty breath, you arw indifferent to to becoming and getting more.

The empty breath does not know how to heal hay fever or anything else caused by the belief in being someone definitive. But it knows how to undo this belief. And since you get more laid-back in the process of that, new ways of healing your hay fever may pop up. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The guidance of the empty breath is not about how to get better health, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing that what you appear to be and have is nothing.

Thus being connected with the empty breath, every experience of something is perceived as nothing. Of course, this does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, and so is what you do about it, you have nothing to worry about.

To be loved is a need that comes from the perception that diffrences make a diffrence. But since the empty breath is indiffrent to diffrences, being loved or not does not make a difference when connected with it.

Nor does it mean that you do not experience positive to be different from negative, for example, but that the experienced difference does not make a difference. Thus it makes no difference, whether you think positive or negative, feel cherished or rejected, make the world better or not, live in the now or whatnot.

Those advocating ´living in the now´ try to replicate the traits of the empty breathNot by being indifferent to separation, though, but by enhancing it through the exclusion of the past and the future.

This detachment, however, which is a natural trait of the empty breath, cannot be replicated by being an observer or anything else as that implies you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one because detachment is indifferent to this or any other belief.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would just be a replacement of one illusion with another. Its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief, that there is more than that which is one, so you do not believe that experience of more than one is real.

It is also indifferent to becoming or getting something. That is why connecting with the empty breath or applying any other duality hack does not make you more unique. Changing or transforming somebody or something in a world where there seems to be more than one is just to replace one illusion with another. Like how something is changed on a computer screen, everything is the same because there is nothing on it.

What you see on the screen is on a hard disk where there is nothing but zeros and ones. Yet, it is not before they are processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen that the nothingness of the hard disk seems to be a tangible world in which changes can be made.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which, in this context, is the world, so you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of emptiness.

Being connected with the empty breath you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a video game because you know they are make-believe.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be and see, so that there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, so what you judged as something bad is seen as nothing. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

Connecting with the empty breath has nothing to do with what you eat or think. Nor has it anything to do with meditation except in the sense of being a medium for nothing, which you are when there is a willingness to not look for something. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 2:
Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial when connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

The same applies to be centred, balanced, focused or something else. It is the willingness to not be anything that ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This willingness, however, does not come from forcing the body into unique yoga postures, neither by controlling the mind, but by thrusting its uncontrolled flow of energy to ignite a take-off to the empty breath regardless, you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

Actually, speedy thoughts and feelings shoot off again and again, and several at a time, to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. But you stop them from becoming boundless by defining them, so you can remain in the illusion of being someone definitive.

The more you limit yourself to be something specific, the more it feels like you are about to collapse. To prevent that, you go on specifying yourself until you feel so constrained that you burst of anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together, so the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off to the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

INTERLUDE:
Being indifferent does not mean that you do not feel the apparent difference between, for example, love and hate. But because there is no need to be acknowledged as someone definitive when connected with the empty breath, you do not consider one of them better than the other. In other words, it makes no difference to you which feeling you explore.

The same applies when pretending to be someone definitive because what you pretend to be, you are not, so it does not matter if you appear to be lived or hated. This also applies when perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is one because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, the apparent differences of the world makes no difference.

As it takes more than one to be connected with something, it is only as long as you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, that connectedness with the empty breath seems relevant. PART 3::
It requires more than one to experience something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Thus every experience is fictional. Read more about this in the articles. All experiences are equally unreal, and Nothing that can be seen exists.

Consequently, the experience of the empty breath, though it may seem as if you finally have found something authentic, is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic to have this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything, but in the sense that you are indifferent to it.

A state of not-knowing, which is the result of the empty breath, is also the outcome of the other duality hacks . If it always is the same state of not-knowing cannot be known, because nobody is conscious about it.

If you feel confused by this article, do not try to get a grip on it (read more about that in the hack No understanding = Enlightenment in Extra Duality Hacks). Instead, go with the flow of chaos until you cannot make ends meet into being someone definitive and feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also is what happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Since it results in a state of not-knowing, you are not bound up with the belief that you are someone definitive until you leave this state and return to the consciousness of being someone.

Since that which is one cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined to be a state of consciousness in which the self is transcended into a higher one. Oneness, however, has nothing to do with being in a state, nor about being conscious of something, because that requires more than one. So does being someone. In other words, the experience of being someone – or rather the belief that this experience is real – is what seems to hide there is no more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX:
If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its untamed energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath. In its presence, you can make up stories of love, for example, without feeling deceitful for manipulating thoughts and feelings to make them because the empty breath sees the world where you believe to be as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seems to disclose something on it, the screen remains empty.

In other words, when you are with the empty breath, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain as if you are someone definitive in a world of something. You do not need the happiness that comes from being in sync with them. You are in the bliss of nothing.

But as noted elsewhere, the belief in being someone definitive falls apart if it is not constantly confirmed by the experiences that the brain produces of a world that appears to be outside of you. And since what you believe to be is the sum of your memories, and they are stored in the brain, you are the brain. Thus it falls into a coma if you stay with the empty breath for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time. In other words, the brain falls apart if there is not a constant interchange between the self it has created and the experiences it produces as if there is something outside of it.

No worries, having been with the empty breath for just a split second, the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to interacting with a world that appears to be outside of you with the perception, ´it is what it is.´ and thus feeling happy regardless of how you experience being treated by the world outside of you.

That is until you wonder why everybody seems to know so much more than you, and you start to play their game of being special by changing your perception from it is what it is to I know what it is. Read more about those perceptions in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. This, however, upsets you a lot because hardly anything goes your way. Fortunately, if not handling the frustration of being wrong, the untamed energy of it ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

In this way, you can go back and forth between the happiness of something (read more about that here) and the bliss of nothing (read more about that here) until you forget to disconnect from the empty breath, and there is neither bliss nor anything else that can be experienced, as the enlightenment of that which is one erases everything that requires more than one. Every thought and feeling is a reminder, that the appearance of something cannot cause suffering if the thoughts and feelings about it is not shared or justified with the world*, but used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, because in its indifference, thoughts and feelings are not specific, so they cannot define you as someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to suffer.

As this is a state of not-knowing, it is not before you leave it and return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, that you sense there is no suffering when being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

This is not to say, one should not take care of the body where one appears to reside. Even though the empty breath reveals, that it is a deception, it is through the illusion of being there, that you connect with the empty breath.

The connection cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you again want to experience yourself as someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma, if not being in a feedback loop with you as if you are separated from each other.

But if you do not want to appear as if you are a separated being, you do not mind the brain falling apart, so it no longer can map out empty space, as if you are someone in a world there. Hence there is not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

To make long short, regardless you want to remain as someone definitive or not, the state of not-knowing induced by the empty breath is bound to end so that the consciousness of being someone definitive can be resumed or totally erased.

No need to worry about having your consciousness totally erased by accidentally staying too long in a state of not-knowing. First of all, hardly anybody comes to the point where the brain starts falling apart, and should you reach that point but long to be someone, fear of survival will set in. That is enough to reboot the brain and bring you back to the experience of being someone definitive.

Even within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is, of course, an illusion that your experience of it is based on the info the brain claims to receives from the sensory system. This is just something it makes up to hide that the whole story of such a world is a fabrication done by itself.

It does not need your eyes to be open to producing vivid images of the world for you to ´see´. Nor does it require you to be awake or sexually stimulated by something in the world outside of you to produce an orgasm. It can make it happen inThe brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy your dreams.

The brain only claims that your experiences are processed from the info coming through your sensory organs so that it can be true to its own story of you being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. This also applies to the experiences you perceive as spiritual. See All experiences are equally unreal.

Since this makes it looks like the person it has generated from out of nothing has conscious experiences, based on info coming from the person´s sensory system, in which it appears to be a substantial being in a tangible world, it believes to be real.

The justification of a feeling* makes it seems to not come from you but from somebody else. But it is still in you, just not in your awareness but in the darkness of the body. To set it free, so the suppressed energy of it can ignite a take-off to the empty breath, you do not need to know what it is you have concealed or why.

You just have to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feeling revealed as nothing twisted into something special, so that you, although you also are nothing, can appear as if you are something important.

No worries, if you acknowledge the disappointment as yours instead of projecting it onto the world, it can be used to ignite another take-off to the empty breath. It wipes the slate clean, so there are no past memories to disturb you from perceiving everything as ´it is what it is.´ And though that does not entail the bliss of nothing, it brings about the happiness of something because ´it is what it is´ (read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy).

Totally feeling sad and being nothing but that, there is no happiness to contrast it. Thus you can neither be defined as sad or happy. You are nobody experiencing nothing specific. This emptiness, which is a sense of bliss so intense, that nothing seems to be wrong or missing, is in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings called a state of not-knowing. If you in the past have blocked out feelings of humiliation, rejection and inferiority, for example, by hiding them in the body, these feelings are intensely felt, when connecting with the empty breath, because the flow of it reveals everything hidden. Read more about suppressed feelings in hack #4.3 TThe unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection.

But if you do not try to exclude the sadness from the past, and instead include it by totally being it, there is nothing left to define you as sad. And, therefore, no sadness to define happiness. In other words, the complete inclusion of one side of a contrast cancels out both sides of the contrast. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing, which is like walking on air of bliss.

The full inclusion of a feeling is not to be confused with embracing it, going into it, for example. Those ideas come from the belief that you are someone definitive who experiences something specific, which can change or transform you into something better. Hence the belief in being someone definitive is enhanced and so are the contrasts making up duality.

Totally being a feeling is not something definitive because it cancels out the contrast to the feeling you are being, wherefore you cannot be defined as someone definitive, so if you do not want to be nobody but somebody, you start asking what being a feeling means or inventing explanations yourself instead of being it.

Being it, by the way, does not mean you go deep into the feeling – just like you do not need to go deep into a well to get water. What you on the surface is the same. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

Not trying to experience anything specific but including everything exactly as it is, bring about a state of not-knowing because without excluding something, there is nothing to define you as someone.

Thus you are in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are. This is also where you are when connecting with the empty breath, having glimpses of enlightenment, or applying any other duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one.

If these states of bliss are identical is not to know, because they are all states of not-knowing, which is a mix of empty space and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, the brain has fabricated from that.

There is nobody in the bliss of not believing to be someone

In a state of not-knowing, there is not enough consciousness to be aware of yourself as someone definitive separated from what you experience to a world outside of you. But there is not enough consciousness in this mix to perceive the apparent differences in the world to make a difference, so you do not perceive yourself, nor the world, to be something. Thus you are in the bliss of nothing.

This lasts as long as you do not try to regain full consciousness (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), but not more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to the experience of someone living in a capsule of time and space.

The enlightenment of that which is one, though, is not a state of not-knowing, because it totally erases the memory of ever having appeared to be someone definitive (see hack #6.2 Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it).

But we are so conditioned to believe, we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space, that the fear of annihilation takes over and we compulsively imagine seeing something definable in the light so that we again appear to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

Since there is no more than that which is one, it only takes one to undo the belief it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, and since there still appear to be more than one, Buddha, Jesus or anybody else who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one followed a conditioned reflex to see more than one light, so a world where there seems to be more than one appeared to continue.

»Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It is your masterpiece, after all.« This quote seen on the web shows a widespread misunderstanding, namely that life is yours. In reality, it is the other way around, so the more you try to edit life in order to appear unique, the more suffering your uniqueness seems to cause you.

When something is over, it is only the story about it that stops. Life has no beginning and end because it is formless. So if you mourn the end of someone, it is not life but your story about it that makes you cry. This is how your story is made real and life unreal. That is if you forget, it is life, which makes it possible to make the story. Not forgetting that you love any story and its end.

The love of life, by the way, is not warm, or cold, or something else. Nor is it nothing, because it takes more than one to be anything and it is that which is one. That is why it lasts.

You may believe in free will, but it is nothing other than a belief. Appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is the brain that takes every decision you believe in making yourself, except when connected with the empty breath. But as it does not know of the world where you believe to be, it does not change anything but the belief that you are there.

And not believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it does not seem to hide, there is no free will since it takes more than one to make a choice and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

Nothing can restrict the empty breath, because it has no need to be something definitive. Yet believing to be someone definitive is a restriction, that will cause the experienced of it to be confined. In other words, the empty breath is not something definitive, so it has nothing to be free from. It is what it is, in spite of you experiencing the expansion and contraction in the body to flow smoothly or not – or remembering the empty breath at all.

It is you, who do not feel free, because you are dependent on continually being acknowledged as someone definitive by somebody perceived to be outside of you in a physically, astral or online world. The feeling of imprisonment that this entails, you want to break out off, and as you assume the empty breath just like you is something definitive, you expect it has the same desire for freedom as you.

Fortunately, there is not something to solve and no feeling of imprisonment to heal, because going with the flow of the empty breath – no matter in what way it is experienced to be – you go with its indifference, and so the apparent difference of feeling free or imprisoned is not perceived to make a difference.

When Alexius many years ago was hired to teach graphic design in an advertising school in Denmark, he had a problem. Even though he had been designing magazines, websites, flyers and ads for companies big and small, he did not know how to do it. He did everything as a medium for the projects so his design could highlight their content.

To provide the students with guidelines on how to design, he had to deduct ways of creating from his instinctive way of doing it. He wrote, by the way, two books with basic rules of how to do it and a book on colour theory.

If not in the bliss of not believing to be someone, you are speculative

How to explain the empty breath?
Regarding passing on guidelines of how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of emptiness and thus indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, he is in the same situation as when he started teaching design. He had no professional training to refer to. Likewise, he has no second-hand knowledge, which he can use as a reference to explaining how to connect with the empty breath.

Neither does he know how to explain that what and where we experience to be is an artificial construct, designed by the brain to control and manipulate us into believing that this experience is genuine and not fabricated by the brain from nothing.

But since he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he does not believe in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor does he believe to be someone in that which is one. On the contrary, he is nothing because it takes more than one to be someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. In other words, what and where we appear to be is a fantasy made from out of nothing and experienced by nothing.

However, in this fantasy, he knows how to step away from it and be in the state of not-knowing* that the empty breath, like the other duality hacks, entails. Once, in that state, he watched a movie (You Disappear), which quoted the latest scientific explorations about the brain, that might help realise everything appearing to be something is nothing.

Consciousness is a construction of thoughts comparable to the ones and zeros in a stream of binary code.

The fabrication of something from nothing
The short version of these discoveries is that the brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct an image of a self that is aware of being someone definitive through the experiences, another small part of the brain continuously fabricate a tangible world as if it is outside of the self and as if it is the self that experiences this, and, therefore, believe to be someone substantial in a tangible world. Especially because this world seems to cause its thoughts and feelings.

These experiences of an external world the brain claim to process from the frequencies it receives via the sensory system, but this explanation, just like the experiences it fabricates, is a smokescreen to cover up, that it is all made up from nothing. A flower, therefore, is just as unreal as a plastic simulation of it.

Being in the bliss of not believing to be someone is to be empty

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The experiences interpreted as the most meaningful ones, namely those that seem to define you the most, are stored in the rest of the brain. And as the sum of these memories constitute what you believe to be, you are not just a fabrication of the brain, you and the brain are the same. Every bit of it – not only ten per cent – works to make it appear as if you are someone in a world of something and not just a fantasy made from out of nothing.

Whether an experience seems direct or comes from the heart, physical or spiritual, it has taken the brain a second to generate it. Hence what you believe to be experiencing now happened one second ago. And then again, it never happened because one second ago, there was nothing, and it only seems as if you experience something now because you need to believe this to feel you exist.

The rest of the article is not based on the scientific discoveries revealed in the movie (You Disappear), nor on anything else formulated somewhere else, as to the knowledge of Alexius, nobody has published anything about the empty breath. In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Thus there are no diversity to attest to you being someone in a world of duality. Consequently, you are in the bliss of nothing.*

The bliss of nothing
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing and therefore is make-believe, they go on exploring something as it is real. Here, however, we explore how to see, there is not something at all and, therefore, not someone seeing it.

The experiences the brain fabricates of a tangible world only seems real if the self that the brain also has created perceives them as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing, likewise the self. Thus, to perceive the present experience as nothing, you go back to the empty void from where the brain has twisted it into your everyday experience of something.

Since that is where the empty breath resides, and it took the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing and thus the bliss of nothing.* Doing that does not require you to meditate or something else in particular. All that is needed is the willingness to forget what and where you appear to be. Read more about that in the below paragraph The only requirement is willingness.

If the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seems to confirm there is more than involved, for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing* very long at a time, if you want to be able to return to a world of something as if you are someone there.  See also the hack 20 minutes, 45 at most in Extra Duality Hacks.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

Since you cannot appear to be somewhere, nor in a state of not-knowing,* without the experience of being someone, there is still someone to experience the world of something made up by the brain when in a state of not-knowing*. But the experience of you as someone is so vague that there is not enough consciousness to perceive the apparently different experiences of something to make a difference. Consequently, there is no perception of separation to hide, that although the fantasy of something is a colourful experience, it is pale in comparison with the bliss of nothing.*

Although you probably forget the empty breath, it remains connected with you, because it does not know, that you believe to be someone who is separated from everything in the low-frequency world experienced by the outer senses.

Yet it senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, which is indifferent to the restlessness that speedy thoughts and feelings seem to produce in the world of the outer senses.

The inner and outer senses
When we are not connected with the empty breath, and therefore not in the blissful state of not-knowing* but in the happiness of the basic self or the nervousness of the special self, the empty breath is still with us, provided we, just once, have connected with it, because it does not know of separation. Thus the empty breath always functions as an automatic gear change between the outer and inner senses to make the abstractness in the world of the inner senses the base from where the world of the outer senses is perceived, so it does not appear to consist of something but nothing when in a state of not-knowing and not in that state the experiences of something are perceived as ´it is what it is.´ Consequently, none of the experiences is something special, including you as someone, so you are not happy or sad but happy-sad. As any experience is an illusion, it includes the experience of the empty breath. But as this illusion unveils the bliss of nothing,* which, contrary to the experince of something, is not experinced to end, you eventually stop asking for more. Hence the belief, that it is possible to be an have more than that which is one is undone.

These experiences, of course, only makes sense as long as you believe you are someone definitive in the world of the outer senses, but assuming that is like believing in Santa Claus.

Fortunately, the connectedness with the empty breath exposes this, so the bliss of not believing to be anything is the last thing, you experience before the belief in being someone is undone and therefore does not seem to cover, there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Going with the flow of the empty breath, you become indifferent to what you get, so if you want something specific, you must disconnect from it and accept the stress that comes from not being in the flow of nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The synchronisation of the inner and outer senses
To take the edge out of the stress we feel in the world of the outer senses, the empty breath synchs it with the world of the inner ones. Not because this world is more peaceful, but because it is a high-frequency world. Thus the speedy and restless energy that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outer senses does not seem stressful.

It is not thoughts as such, that prevents us from going with the flow of nothing, but the desire to use them to accomplishing something specific.

That being said, you might not want his synchronisation because although it results in indifference to stress, it may not help you to get what you stressed to achieve. This is why most like to avoid the flow of the empty breath and endure the hassle of obtaining what they desire.

Like a pencil cannot make its scribblings go away but an eraser can, you cannot make your scribblings as someone definitive go away but the empty breath can.

However, if they get it, they do not feel satisfied but disappointed because the need for more is still there. This, they try to tone down through meditation, yoga or other techniques that seem to hide that all they care about is to become and have more at the expense of anybody (see No manifestation is real).

The more the connectedness with the empty breath cancels out the contrasts of duality – for example happiness and sadness – the more you are indifferent to what and where you appear to be in a world of duality.

Time is nothing in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Without the basic contrast of expansion and contraction, there is no experience of life. Yet what we experience as life is actually death because life is formless and thus without a beginning and end, so anything that does not last is lifeless. It is, however, life that makes it possible to have fantasies about being a limited being in a lifeless world – just like within the context of such a world, it is only due to that, you can imagine being someone you are not in the virtual world of a video game. You do not connect with the empty breath at your own pace
While Alexius was writing about the empty breath, he deducted ways to ignite it from his instinctive way of doing it. For example, using the unedited energy of the stress arising from the belief in being someone definitive ignites a take-off to the empty breath. There is nothing to know, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. So although there seem to be lots to know, when appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is only one thing to know in regards to the formlessness of oneness, namely that there is nothing to know.

That is why Alexius´ Enlightened NonTeachings is not about learning something new but to unlearn everything. This you can do by reading all of them – or flip through them – until they automatically apply one or more of the duality hacks and brings you in a state of not-knowing, in which there is nobody to perceive the person fabricated by the brain as real. Hence there is nothing but the bliss of being indifferent to any kind of belief.

That being said, when it comes to the practical aspects of appearing to be someone definitive, you should not avoid learning and knowing something, or being and having more. It is self-evident, however, when connected with the empty breath. Its indifference to differences makes it impossible to choose anything yourself. Thus you just go with the flow of doing something exciting. In other words, you are are having the belief in being someone undone, while enjoing it to its fullest.

If this is what you want, it is not important whether you read hack #4, Being in a state of not-knowing from beginning to end or just browse it. What is essential is to not focus on anything in particular, nor to spend time processing or integrating it, as that enhances the belief in being someone. Instead, unlearn everything so you contain nothing and, as an empty vessel, can serve the empty breath. See also the hack No Focus = No World Defined By Time And Space in Extra Duality Hacks.

Only those believing to be special have the need to do things in their own pace.

The bliss of not believing to be someone does not come from something but nothing

Looking for something you can relate to as your true self in the teachings of a guru, for example, you do not look for that which is real because it is no different from that which is one, and it takes more than one to look for something. So do not read about the empty breath with the expectation of finding something to make you or the world better, but to become indifferent to what and where you appear to be. In other words, the less you seem to know something, the less something appears to hide, what you believe to be is nothing. Hence there is not something to separate you from the empty breath.

It is not necessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to have it undone.

The only requirement is a willingness to not be someone definitive
Leaving your comfort zone of knowing what and where you are is not done by fighting or transforming your learned behaviour, but by being willing to undo the belief that makes it possible to appear as if you are conditioned by something, namely the belief in being someone definitive.

This willingness most often comes from admitting that the appearance of you as someone definitive is not a matter of fact but make-believe. That you accept when you acknowledge, you are not willing to undo the belief in being someone definitive because the acknowledgement confirms what you appear to be is make-believe.

Since nothing matters when connected with the empty breath, you are free to have fun.

Having the belief in being someone definitive undone does not mean that you as someone seems to be gone, reborn or awaken. Like within the context of this belief, the appearance of Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. It is the belief that he is real that stops. However, there is one difference between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone, or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed because now you are free to enjoy being someone definitive in a fantasy about Santa Claus, having a family and whatnot.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being anything is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

Just like everything else sensed, it is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribe it with a specific shape and colour. But as the brain cannot conceive nothingness without falling into coma, the empty breath remains invisible and colourless.

How does it feel
The connection with the empty breath can be experienced as described by Alexius in the articles What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, and To be nobody and yet somebody. But do not count on it. His experience of it is not static. And even if it were, you and Alexius may experience it in each your own way – just like when drinking the same cup of tea, for example. Besides, the main attribute of the empty breath is indifference, which is hardly an experience.

On top of that, it may not even be the empty breath revealed through the willingness to not uphold the belief in being someone definitive. Instead, maybe it is the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it (see the article A reintroduction to the inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it), or the freedom that comes from pretending to be what you are not (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Everything is new in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Even though some plants are edible, not all of them are. Often the most beautiful of them should not be eaten if you want to remain as someone living in a capsule of time and space. And if you do not want to end when your appearance there is over, you better avoid beautiful ideas like living in the nowcoming from the heart and being transformed, because they are based on the belief in being someone definitive, and everything definitive, contrary to the formlessness of oneness, has an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What you believe in being does not exist
Should you wonder, who chooses to believe, that the image fabricated by the brain of someone definitive is you, or who has programmed the brain to produce this image, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because the experience of being somebody, whether in a so-called spiritual or physical sense, is, within this experience, comparable to being in a dream. There is nobody in it. Thus the empty breath and the other duality hacks are as dreamlike as anything else in the experience of being someone definitive, no matter what and where that seems to be.

Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

There are many ways to appear as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in its dream, and therefore not returning to its bed when the dream is over. But contrary to the illusions of the many belief systems in the world, the duality hacks do not attempt to transform or make the world better but expose that everything experienced is made from out of nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath, for example, you become indifferent to the differences in the experiences produced by the brain. Hence you do not believe that you are someone definitive separated from others but that it is something you pretend to be.

And as what you pretend to be, you are not, that which is you does not end when the brain cannot produce the experience of you as someone anymore. Until then, it is much fun pretending to be what and where you are not.

Pretending to be someone definitive undoes the belief in being it, because what you pretend to be you are not. Read about this in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

APPENDIX:
Since Alexius is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he perceives every experience as nothing. Thus the distinction he makes between a state of not knowing and the experience of being someone definitive can be shaped by that. In other words, there might be a slight mix up in the description of the bliss of nothing* and its after-effect, which comes from having had the slate wiped clean, so you return from a state of not-knowing in the default mode of the basic self, and, therefore, automatically is synced with the brain and thus in the happiness of something (read more about that here).

However, most of the explanations of how to connect with the empty breath are not geared towards the basic but the special self, as that is the most common way of being in the world of the outer senses. Fortunately, the stress that comes from keeping together the image of being special can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, provided you do not try to deal with the stress yourself.

On the other hand, the basic self does not need the unedited energy of stress to connect with the empty breath. It easily becomes so laid-back that it does not perceive feeling fulfilled as better than depressed, neither being right to be better than wrong. These or any other feelings are not perceived as something specific. Hence there is nothing to hide the bliss of emptiness.

This does not mean that feelings of anger or love, for example, does not pop up but that no feeling is perceived to make a difference. Thus they all reveal the bliss of nothing* when the basic self is so laid-back that its basic perception is ´dunno what it is

The bliss of nothing (in the process of being updated)

When you hike, you need to take a break from it. And so do you from the conscious experience of being someone by being in a state of not-knowing. Just like you start afresh after a break from hiking, you start renewed – or rather re-established  – after a state of not-knowing, because it wipes the slate clean. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1: THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your wellbeing as someone definitive, as well as the undoing of the belief in being that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of us as somebody.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time, if you want to continue the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the conscious experience of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, which the empty breath entails and in which the slate is wiped clean and you, therefore, return to the conscious experience of being someone as the basic self. Read more about the basic self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath so that when it expands the body, you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and in a state of not-knowing when it contracts the body. Returning to that which is one is not a matter of going anywhere. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so it is not possible to leave it. Nevertheless, it seems possible to believe that it is. It is not a matter of letting go or surrender since doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does try to figure out, if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it really makes no difference, which way you experience it to go.

What you believe in being is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are errased.

Since you, therefore, do not perceive yourself to be special when returning to the conscious experience of being someone, there is no need for something specific to define you, so it is easy returning to a state of not-knowing. Read more about the perception of yourself as special or not in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

When in the flow of going back and forth between knowing and not-knowing, the belief in being someone undone is one day undone. You do not wonder about when because you are enjoying being in the flow.

Besides, time is an illusion, and every experience is bound to end, as in a state of not-knowing the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, so one by one they are cancelled out.

When every so often connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, so they cannot be used to make a perception of you as someone making a difference.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out the differences and insist on some of them makes a difference, for example if you are in a friendship or a romantic relationship. Fortunately, the frustration that seems to arise from claiming to know what is right can be used to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences, because it cancels out differences and without them, there is nothing definable to experience. And thus not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one as it is formless and therefore endless.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

This does not mean oneness is revealed. It is not possible because that requires more than one. But what appears to hide it can be exposed as nothing. That is what Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is about, namely to reveal that what you perceive to experience as something is nothing, included what you believe to be. Since realising this requires more than one, it is only is possible in a world where there seems to be more than one, and since it is a world of linear time, this is a process in time.

The willingness to realise this is often initiated by admitting, you are not willing to recognise that what you believe to be is nothing because by acknowledging this, you agree that what you appear to be is make-believe and therefore not that which is you.

PART 2: THE AFTER-EFFECT OF THE BLISS OF NOTHING
When you return from a state of not-knowing to the belief in being someone definitive and have forgotten the bliss of not believing that, the empty breath remembers it for you – also if you only remember the empty breath once in a while. And just like it syncs being nobody with being somebody in a state of not-knowing, so you are able to move around in nothing as if it is something, it also does that in the after-effect of it. The ratio is different, though.

In a state of not-knowing, there is so little consciousness of being somebody that the apparently different experiences are not perceived to make a difference, so you are in the bliss of nothing. But in the after-effect of that, the empty breath syncs the bliss of nothing with the consciousness of something in relation to what and where you appear to be, so that emptiness is forgotten when you need to be conscious of something like driving a car. In other words, in a state of not-knowing, you are first of all nobody, and in the after-effect, you are mostly somebody.

When someone is hurt in a movie, that you are watching, you may also feel hurt. That is why the movie seems real. But since the film is not perceived to be real, feeling hurt seems entertaining. This is how it is to be connected with the empty breath. Though the world appears to be real, you perceive it as unreal. Hence its apparent ups and downs are equally enjoyable.

But since your slate is wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, there are no misperceptions of being special in the after-effect of it. Thus you are the basic. It perceives every experience as it is what it is, so no matter in which ratio nothing and something are sync by the empty breath, each experience makes it equally entertaining to appear as if you are someone definitive. This after-effect lasts from a few seconds to several years if you do not stop it by wishing to be special.

This is often done with new-age concepts of being in balance, the now and whatnot. That is until you are so frustrated from trying to make these concepts work, and you do not attempt to fix the disappointment but have its unedited energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, so you again have your slate wiped clean in a state of not-knowing and return to the consciousness of being someone as the basic self. You are in a state of not-knowing when you do not know what and where you and your beloved ones are. Yet it is your devotion to what you and they appear to be, that exposes the nothingness of this appearance.

To see that your hidden grievances are nothing disguised as something is as simple as recognising the nothingness of this haze. You do not need to analyse or understand it but to go into it with eyes wide open. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3: WHERE IS THE BLISS OF NOTHING?
Although what and where we believe to be is experienced to be somewhere, it is nowhere, because it is an experience created by the brain from out of nothing. The brain is as immaterial as the experiences it fabricates, but it uses them to make itself appear as if it is a material thing in a physical being, who seems to have the experiences of a tangible world that the brain fabricates and, therefore, believes to be a substantial being in a world made of solid elements.

In the context of this illusion, where nothing seems to be something, a state of not-knowing is a version of nothing that has not been processed by the brain into an experience of something. Read more about that here. In a world that is experienced to be something, a state of not-knowing may in an abstract way appear to originate from the back of the head, when all the grievances that have been stored there are acknowledged as old friends, and, therefore, do not appear to create pressure in your head but sheer bliss. Yet the whole brain will never be in a transparent bliss of nothing.

The way to become friends with old complaints is not to get rid of them or understand them, nor to forgive those you resent for having caused them, but to acknowledge what the grievances make you feel by being that and nothing else, so there is not something to contrast what you feel, wherefore neither you or what you feel is definable. Hence you are in the bliss of not knowing what and where you appear to be.

To be nobody and yet somebody (DRAFT)

Reality has nothing to say but ´I am here ´ because it takes more than one to go anywhere, and it is that which is one and. For the same reason, where it is cannot be known. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is the brain and nobody else that tells you to experience someone as stupid, for example. It will also suggest how you should deal with it. Whether you consider or reject the suggestions, you are well entangled in the game of the brain, which is to make you believe that you are separated from what you experience, so you appear to be someone separated from a world that seems to be outside of you.

This is not to say that there are ways to escape that game, except, of course, to die. You must play the game of the brain if you want to go on as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. If you do, the brain rewards you with shots of happiness.

Like in most games, the end is built into it, so you do not have to feel you are stuck in the brain. When your time is up, the brain stops working. Thus there is nothing to establish you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, so nobody appears to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Until then, you have much fun appearing to be in the game if you perceive the experiences the brain fabricates of it as they are, and not as they ought to be according to a unique belief system like socialism, capitalism, Buddhism or any other ism.

In this case, your perception relates to the experiences as they are, so you are not someone definitive but someone relative to the brain (read more about that here), which, as already said, therefore, supports you with shots of happiness. If your perception does not relate to the experiences as they are but to a belief system of yours, this system seems to establish you as someone special in charge of its own life. But since it never turns out as it ought to be, you do not feel happy but frustrated. Read more about that here.

If you connect with the empty breath, you are not relative to the brain anymore, nor independent of it because you are nobody and thus not somebody in the experiences created by the brain, although you appear to be there. In other words, you are in the world of the brain but not of it.

This, however, is only possible for 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to be able again to have a conscious experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one (see the end of this article). Fortunately, it is possible to get around this by quickly shifting between the conscious experience of being someone and having no consciousness of what and where you appear to be. This is what we explore below:

It is easy to connect with the empty breath when not looking for something
If not constructing a perception that has left out everything in your experiences which does not make sense according to a particular belief system, such as socialism or capitalism, the unedited energy of them will ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

Connecting with it may at first feel as if you have two kinds of breaths. The well-known one you probably, out of habit, struggle for by taking quick gasps of air. And then the empty breath that takes over when you are willing to not breathe too fast take deep breaths or in any other way manipulate the breath.

To achieve this, it can be beneficial to hold a finger under your nose every now and then. It may make you feel as if you are not getting enough air. But that is because when you do not try to catch your breath, the empty breath takes over. And it has a slower pace than you are used to, with a more extended break in between breathing in and out. It keeps a healthy balance between breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide in a very laid-back way.

Physically speaking, the empty breath is best felt when the air is coming in and out through the nose and not the mouth. But not as if it is you who do the breathing, but a ´generator´ in the abdomen from where it, very gently, first expands the abdomen, secondly the belly and lastly the chest before it after a short break goes the other way to contract the body. And then on and on. It feels like there is hardly any air coming in and out of the nose but that it remains a stream within the body.

For that reason, the physical breathing may be through the mouth if that suits you better than through the nose. However, by doing it through the nose, you can do the technique for the taste of life simultaneously to get its side-effect of defocussing. This makes it easier to be with the empty breath. See the paragraph The taste of life in Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment.

Please be aware that this is not a factual description of how breathing is carried out when the empty breath is in the driving seat, but a description of what it may feel like, physically speaking. It could also be that you feel it as if the generator is in the chest. Sometimes this is how it feels for Alexius.

Hence you should not try to replicate the way described here by him but use it as an inspiration to not do something, so the empty breath is not blocked from filling you with the bliss of nothing. This, by the way, is not something to be felt in the body, nor outside of it as if in the external world. It is felt nowhere.

You do not need to remember every detail of this photo to get a sense of stormy weather. Likewise, you do not need to remember all the explanations about the empty breath to connect with it. And you should absolutely not try to remember being connected with it. The connection consists of nothing, and you cannot remember nothing. Thus trying to do so, the relationship turns into the frustration of something. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The above is not something you need to remember and strictly follow. The empty breath does not know what you believe in doing. The only thing required for the connection to work is a willingness to go with the flow.

Although the empty breath has nothing to give but emptiness, it feels like you get more energy. Maybe because the lack of something dissolves the tensions in the body that restricts a full breath. As emptiness is powerless, the empty breath cannot do this without your permission. If you are not ready to give that, it may take some time to feel more energetic. No worries. Time is an illusion. However, let us get practical and talk about how to get there:

When the breath expands the body from the abdomen to the chest, you follow a flow from the abdomen to the top of the head. At the same time, you stick to the thoughts and/or feelings popping up without making a perception of them that excludes what you judge to be politically incorrect. At the top of the head, the gentle explosion of the unedited energy of thoughts and feelings erases the perception of your experience as something, so you are in the bliss of nothing and thus indifferent to being someone definitive.

This state of not-knowing remains while following the flow of breath down to the abdomen and repeatedly going up and down, provided you do not perceive an appearance such as your spouse to make a difference.

This should not be understood as a state of not-knowing is in the flow of the physical breath – just like the music you turn on by hitting a button is not in that action. A state of not-knowing is nowhere in particular and therefore obscured by the experiences of time and space that seems to confirm you as someone definitive in a tangible world.

Following the rhythm of the breath as described above or in the other articles in the below links hypnotises the brain, so it forgets to continually produce a conscious experience of you as someone separated from others by time and space. Since this is the primary purpose of following the breath, it is not essential to do it in the exact same way you interpret it should be done according to the explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

In this article, we talk about starting to breathe from the abdomen, which is a physical approach. If you prefer a more metaphysical one, you can begin to breathe from the third eye. This is not to say that it is you who initiate the breathing. You direct your awareness in a defocused way to either the abdomen or third eye. You may have tightened the muscles there to prevent going on automatic flow. But if you wait patiently, the breath starts by itself. Therefore, do not interfere, neither if it takes a long time for the flow to resume between breathing in and out.

In the case of the abdomen, you go on as described above. Regarding breathing in and out from the third eye, you stay in the space that the breath seems to have opened there and filled with the transparent sound of the empty breath. From there, you probably sense the swing of the empty breath in the upper part of the body and, when breathing in, you see glimpses of enlightenment.

Both approaches call off the streaming of thoughts. Every now and then, the stream may return. But it disappears in the next breath. Hence you cannot hold onto something specific. No worries. You are in the bliss of nothing. And although that is very energetic, you have no urge to achieve anything. Therefore, as you do not hope to get something from the world, it seems transparent, regardless everything looks the same.

Suppose you think you find something better around the next corner. In that case, you will probably not notice the empty breath because it is not behind anything but before everything that the brain has twisted from nothing into an experience of something. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The empty breath is nothing, so looking for something you miss it
Although being in the bliss of nothing is simple and straightforward, it may seem complicated if you are conditioned with the ideas of controlling and/or stopping thoughts because controlling or preventing something is not possible in the nothingness of bliss.

Neither is it beneficial for getting there. On the contrary, when you do not try to stop thoughts or in any other way focus on them, they are free to speed up until the explosion of their unedited energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, thus to the blissful state of not-knowing. In short, it is not focussing but defocusing that will get you to a state of not-knowing in which there is nobody to be conscious of thoughts and feelings.

The apparent difference between a boy or a girl, for example, must be upheld as real to sustain the belief, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. This difference remains precisely the same when connected with the empty breath, but due to its indifference, your it is not judged to make a difference. Thus the belief in being someone definitive fades out.

The flow of the empty breath is flexible
Being defocused, you may forget the above description of going up and down in alignment with the rhythm of the breath and instead go the other way around. Or the distance of going up and down can be diminished or enlarged, so if you pass the top of the head when going up, go down below the abdomen. No worries. There is nobody to notice the apparent difference. Thus it makes no difference.

The brain will try to process a state of not-knowing into an experience of something instead of nothing by babling about awakening, coming from pure essence, heart (read more about that here) or whatnot, so the image it has fabricated of you as someone definitive is confirmed as real and thus obscure, it is made from out of nothing. Read more about that here.

So just connect with the empty breath and go with its flow of nothing as it comes to you. Having done that a few times, you automatically return to the empty breath whenever you prefer to perceive problems as nothing instead of something.

The flow of going up and down
Instead of remaining in a state of not-knowing after going down to the abdomen when the breath contracts the body, you can return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive when you leave the abdomen and with the expansion of the body goes up to the head again. Leaving a state of not-knowing, you do by perceiving yourself to make a difference.

From the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can again return to a state of not-knowing, which is done by not perceiving the thoughts and feelings constituting the experience of being someone to be something specific. Thus you leave the head with no particular thoughts and feelings when the body contracts and go with the flow of the breath down to the abdomen where you go up with the flow to the head and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive – and so on.

Having been in this flow for a while, it becomes automatic. Thus you appear to be someone who is conscious of itself but does not know what it means. In other words, you are in the world but not of it.

When not connected with the empty breath, grudges and so-called negative thoughts keep popping up as before. But as the after-effect of the connection is happiness you do not bother.

You cannot know when you are connected with the empty breath because you are in a state of not-knowing. Nor can you be aware of who it is that is following the breath up and down because the contrast of up and down, in a short time, cancels out itself (read more about that here), so nobody is going nowhere.

As time is an illusion, the contrast making up the flow has already been cancelled out. More to the point, this or any other contrast has never existed because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. But while you believe there is more than one, enjoy the illusion of going with the flow.

No more than that which is one
Should you forget to follow the flow and thus forget about the empty breath, there is no reason to condemn yourself for that because there is no self. It takes more than one to be or have a self, and as there is no more than that which is one, any kind of self is make-believe. For the same reason being with the empty breath is also make-believe. Read more about the illusion of experiences here:

Nevertheless, being with it makes it easier to not assume it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. And not believing that you do not perceive the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one to be something but nothing. Hence you enter the bliss of emptiness.

If you stay in this state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time, the brain falls into a coma and, therefore, is unable to make the experiences that seem to manifest you as someone definitive. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding there never was and or will be more than that which is one. Hardly anybody, however, stays that long at a time in a state of not-knowing. But maybe long enough to sense that this is so.

APPENDIX:
If you try to make the empty breath follow the physical breath, you cannot connect with the empty breath. On the contrary, you keep it at bay because the empty breath has nothing to do with bodily preoccupation. Actually, you will never know if the physical breath and the empty breath are aligned because you are in a state of not-knowing, when connected with the empty breath. Read more about that in The bliss of nothing.

For the same reason, the explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings about how it feels being connected with the empty breath are based on Alexius memories of the empty breath. And since they are perceived as ´it is what it is´ (read more about that in The bliss of nothing), it does not matter to him if they are aligned or not.

It is a matter of speech when Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings say the empty breath fills you with emptiness. It does not supply you with anything. Instead, it replaces your perception of the body as something with nothing. Hence the body is acknowledged for what it is. The same applies to every other experience you have. They are all nothing disguised as something. Seeing that, there is not something to bother you. This is why it is so blissful to be connected with the empty breath.

The speed of unedited thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off to the bliss of nothing (DRAFT)

That which is one can be compared to a movie running so fast that no frames can be seen and a world where there seems to be more than one to the same movie slowed down to the extent, that it seems to consists of many different frames. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1: UNEDITED SPEED BRINGS YOU INTO THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Oneness is contrary to the common belief, not the same as stillness but loudness. That is if the speed of it could be experienced. But that is not possible, because it requires more than one to experience something.

You could also say, the reason oneness cannot be experienced is that it is a movie (an analogue), that is played so fast that the individual frames of it cannot be seen because. The speed merges them into one. Hence it is not quietness but speediness that is the bedrock of that which is one.

Read more about the fantasy of a slowed-down version of that which is one where there seems to be more than one can in A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of that which is one played in slow motion.

In the context of this metaphor, a world where there seems to be more than one is a movie of oneness slowed down so much, that it seems to consists of frames divided by time and space.

Those insisting in oneness being stillness are those who want to take it slow, because that gives them time to feel they are in control.

It is, therefore, not calmness but speediness, that is needed to accelerate the slowed-down movie of oneness into its natural speed, which is so fast that nothing can be seen. Hence hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not about slowing down thoughts or stopping them but not holding them back so the speediness of them ignite a take-off to the empty breath. It syncs the speedy thoughts in the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, so they can be further accelerated without you going insane in the world of the outer senses.

Inevitable thoughts move so fast that there is no time to hold onto any of them to make you come out as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses. Thus that world is perceived from the world of the inner senses, where you are not someone definitive. Thus you are in a state of not-knowing, which is pure bliss.

If you remain in that state for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, the speed of the thoughts become so fast that they merge into the enlightenment of that which is one, from where there is nothing to gently fall into the formlessness of oneness. See hack #6.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one. Most, however, never enter a state of not-knowing and if they do they leave it after a few seconds or minutes. So we return to the subject of this hack, which is not that which is one but how to enjoy the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one while slowly but surely having it undone.

Since there is no more than that which is one, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is absurd. That includes Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. For a take-off to the empty breath to work, you do not have to sit in special postures or do something extraordinary. There is one thing, though, you must do to make it work. You got to acknowledge the chaos of thoughts and feelings as they are experienced without analysing or trying to understand them, nor to shape them by a philosophical or religious system, because if editing, the speed of chaos is replaced by the numbness of order.

To not suppress the chaos through mental or meditative activity, but instead acknowledge it as it is, you do nothing other than to totally be it.* This is not only the take-off to the empty breath but also the destination because totally being something leaves nothing to contrast it. And as that does not leave behind anything to define you, you are in a state of not-knowing. Read more about that here.

In a state of not-knowing, the apparent difference between specific thoughts is not perceived to make a difference, neither is the supposed difference between what is presumed to be you and others. Thus there is nobody to be separated from somebody or at one with anybody – nor to experience the bliss that this entails.

But you do not know the bliss of that before you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and memories of it start popping up. You know, however, you are in a state of not-knowing when you do not care about what and where you appear to be.

When trying to control, change or stop thoughts and feelings, they are slowed down and therefore do not have the speed needed to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, where they lose their apparent meaning, since the empty breath is indifferent to differences. Consequently, they also lose their apparent power to define you as someone definitive.

Please be aware, that the above explanation of that which is one versus a world where there seems to be more than one is as absurd as any other explanation of this or anything else because it requires more than one to explain something and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

And as it also takes more than one to find something, there is neither truth, love, oneness or anything else to be found anywhere. Thus Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not reveal oneness, nor do they point to it, since that requires more than one. But they point to the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, as it is what seems to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one because it is formless and therefore endless.

PART 2: COMPLETELY BEING SOMETHING UNVEILS THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Feeling wrong seems to go away when you complain about somebody because that makes them appear to be wrong and you to be right. But complaining about others to escape unwanted feelings in yourself is like covering them under the lid in a cooking pot. Sooner or later, the pressure of the suppressed emotions blows off the lid and steam of grievances shoot out.

Since the cooking pot in this metaphor is your body, the above is to say, that although complaining about somebody at first seems to make you feel better, the problem is not solved. It has just been buried inside your body from where it will come out in the open when the body expels the suppressed problem through physical disease. Whatever that is, you most likely blame it for having caused you to suffer, so you still can deny having an emotional problem.

You do not get rid of an emotional problem by suppressing but feeling it. This is not done by telling friends or a psychiatrist what you think that your problem is. Focusing on the cause displaces the feeling, and so does talking about it because that disassociate you from feeling it.

Totally being a feeling is as easy as being completely devoted to sex, for example. It does not mean, by the way, that you go deep down in the feeling. It is like going deep into a well. No reason to do that. It is the same water on the surface. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

So instead of sharing what you think you feel with somebody, feel it all by yourself until you are nothing but that, wherefore there is no feeling to contrast it and, therefore, not something to define you as having a problem or anything else. Consequently, you are in a state of not-knowing.

This does not necessarily mean that the bodily symptom of the suppressed feeling magically vanishes. The body may still hurt. But since there is nobody to perceive this as something, it is, just like in a dream, nothing, which applies to everything else, so there is not something to be bothered by. Nor is there anybody to know the bliss that this entails before returning to the belief in being someone and blissful memories of not believing that start to surface.

Since these memories slowly by surely rubs off on your perception of what and where you appear to be as someone definitive, you do not need to avoid or hold onto any feeling to establish yourself as special. Consequently, the body is not used as a garbage bin for unwanted feelings, so it is not disturbed by immaterial matters and can take care of physical issues just like it was made to do. However, when it comes to viruses transferred from wild animals, for example HIV, Mers and COVID 19, and other sicknesses generated by the way of modern living, the body generally needs help from healthcare professionals.

To sum it up, acknowledging a feeling as something specific that you experience as someone definitive makes it possible to completely be what you feel. Being that and nothing else there is not something to contrast it, and therefore nothing to define what you are. Thus you enter a state of not-knowing. However, it is not before you leave it and return the belief in being someone definitive, that you remember, the bliss that comes from being indifferent to that.

You must leave a state of not-knowing after 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to be able again to have a conscious experience of being someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma if there is not a continuous dialogue – internal or external – about something that seems to confirm you are someone definitive. So if you do not want the brain to fall into a coma, and you to disappear in the nothingness from where the experiences of what you believe to be is fabricated by the brain, you must return to the consciousness of being someone in a world of something by resuming your grievances about the world experienced to be outside of you, so you again are established to be separated from what you experience and thus to be someone definitive. Read here how complaints seem to make you appear to be real.

Instead of returning from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can totally forget about something, so there is nothing to be absorbed by the enlightenment of that which is one, so there is no consciousness, states of bliss or anything else that requires more than one.

Hence there is not something that seems to hide, there never was or will be nothing but that which is one. Read about the enlightenment of that which is one in HACK #6, Inner senses, enlightenment, and glimpses of it. This does not only mean that the appearance of you as someone definitive is terminated, but that you have never existed, neither in a material or spiritual way, because it takes more than one to exist.

No reason to worry about accidentally and abruptly being terminated as someone in the enlightenment of that which is one, because in most cases the fear of it (read more about that here) or the urge to separate will set in before that, so you automatically fend off that which is one to appear as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Obviously, nor Alexius or anybody else has passed the point of no return in the enlightenment of that which is one because a world where there seems to be more than one is still experienced, and it only takes one to undo what is not one because there is no more than that which is one.

PART 3: THE RETURN FROM THE BLISS OF NOTHING TO THE HAPPINESS OF SOMETHING
When returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone, just like a criminal, you do not think in the categories of right or wrong. Unlike a criminal, however, you do not replace these categories with a calculation of what you can get away with it. You are aware that you do not choose what you do – only how you perceive it.

You do not get stressed from always having to avoid what you judge as negative, being angry for example, when perceiving everything as it is what it is. Read more about this perception in hack #4.2The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy).

And since your perception always is that it is what it is, negative thoughts are just as welcome as positive ones. So is the empty breath. Most of this hack, however, presumes you do not perceive everything as it is what it is, but I know what it is. And as you have to exclude everything unknown from your awareness to uphold this perception, you are full of hidden thoughts and feelings which suppressed energy can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

If you have read HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end, you have probably grasped that you, in the terms of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, are the basic self when perceiving everything as ´it is what it is´ and the special self when perceiving it as ´I know what it is,´ which is to state you know better than the brain and have established yourself as more unique than the basic self – or in the process of accomplishing it.

Being in sync with the brain, there is nothing to disturb you from falling into a state of not-knowing.

Since the basic self is in sync with the brain, it feels the happiness of something contrary to the special self which is out of sync and thus gets the sadness of something. They are equally illusionary, though, but it does not seem so dangerous to have that exposed when being a basic and not a special self.


*) If you already have organised the chaos of thoughts into a specific belief system, there is no need to going back to chaos to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. You just acknowledge the suppression of it by being nothing but that. Read more about that here.

4.4 You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 1 [draft]

When feeling sad is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ it is revealed to be paired with gladness. This revelation sets off the experience of other duality pairs, for example weakness and wellness, disappointment and contentment or tears and laughter. Sadness is a close friend of gladness

Suppose you do not acknowledge the negativity in yourself but project it onto others. In that case, you disconnect yourself from the positivity inside you because it is your negativity that defines it. The same applies if you hide negative thoughts and feelings from your awareness by projecting them onto vulnerable parts of your body. Long story short, when you do not ratify your negativity, the experience of being positive is fake. Read here about how you quickly bring back what you have projected onto others.

To formulate genuine positivity in you, the negativity that you encompasses but have cut off from your awareness must be restored as yours. This is done by acknowledging that you feel your negativity when you perceive something in the world as negative because what you get is what you have. Just like the suns colouration of your skin is determined by the pigmentation in you.

In plain English, you undo the separation from your negativity by acknowledging that you see your own negativity when you perceive something outside of yourself as unfavourable. This does not mean you have a beggar inside you when you see someone begging on the street. But if you judge that to be negative, you have this negativity inside you.

Just like a quick look from above is sufficient to ratify there is the water in a well, a glance of the negativity inside you is enough to feel that you have it, wherefore your reaction to it can be perceived as ´it is what it is.´ This literally opens up your response and reveals its counterpart. Read more about that here. Since the experience of this, and any other, polarity makes you feel complete, the belief in duality can be undone completely.

In hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy, you can read about how the perception ´it is what it is´reveals that your fixed opinion of something is twofold. Hence you do not get the frustration of separation but the satisfaction of togetherness.

Any experience perceived as positive is bound to be complemented by another deemed as negative because everything comes in pairs of opposing experiences in a world of duality. This was the short version. The longer one is that when you begin to bring back negativity into your awareness as your own, the interplay of negativity and positivity may not get your attention right away. Instead, chances are you feel like on the way to hell because you are overwhelmed by forgotten and unpleasant emotions that keep coming out of the dark. Read more about that here. Perhaps this starts off slowly with a familiar sense of depression that you a long time ago hid from your awareness by imagining to dump it behind the feeling in a vulnerable part of the body.

But since depression often is a rage that has been pushed down, it is only a matter of time before it flares out in brutal hellfire. Maybe that feels as if acid-like splashes come out of the fragile segment of the body you initially imagined hiding your anger behind. Or perhaps it feels like you are tortured by a ruthless and evil force.

Something inside of you, interpreted as evil, turns out to contain goodness as well when this interpretation is perceived as ´it is what it is.´ Likewise, there is success in failure and an angel in a monster. However, none of these opposing elements are important in themselves. It is the interaction of them that feels like paradise, whereas standing explicitly by on one of them feels like shit.

Not escaping but acknowledging the feeling of hell, this single-minded response can be perceived as ´it is what it is. Since that turns it into a dualistic reaction, hell is not alone anymore but complemented with heaven. Amazed by this polarity, you realise there is no heaven without hell in a world of duality – just like there is no breathing in without breathing out. You cannot have one without the other. They are like two sides of the same coin.

In other words, the acknowledgement of hell does not make it go away but unmasks heaven, which lay bare hell, and so on. This interaction does not happen in a balanced or harmonious way, but in an adventurous manner in which you experience to rapidly go up and down between the pleasure of heaven and the displeasure of hell – like when you have fun going up and down in a roller coaster or relax playing yoyo.

Since twofoldness is what duality is all about, and you believe to be in a world of duality, going with the interaction of hell and heaven makes you feel complete. And since this automatically leads to the experience of other pairs of duality, the feeling of completeness, eventually, becomes so intense that you forget to define yourself by duality. Consequently, there does not appear to be someone hiding non-duality. The process leading up to that may seem more comfortable if the problematic areas in the body, where you once attempted to conceal singular feelings, are fixed.

If you acknowledge every feeling that pops up, there are no feelings to hide. Consequently, you are set free from your own suppression.

In a world of duality, everything comes in pairs. So if you do not try to split any of them to hold onto a singular perspective of love, for example, you are aligned with duality. This does not mean things work better for you, but that it does not bother you. You feel complete because you are in the duality flow. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When you do not hide your unpleasant emotions from the consciousness by imagining to dump your discomfort behind the feelings of pain in the body, it does not feel attacked by your psychological problems. Thus it relaxes and becomes available for healing. But not by the idea of integrating body and mind. This body sees an attack on its physical integrity.

If dualism is not rejected, any unpleasantness you have suppressed will start interacting with its counterpart. Thus the tensions you uphold in the body to keep these emotions hidden slowly but surely dissolve.

Fortunately, the brain has the blueprint of the body´s composition. Hence it can restore the body by its anatomy with the help of nature and perhaps health care professionals. Since that makes you feel entirely physical, the belief in being that can be undone entirely.*

The brain automatically maintains the body if you do not try to make it perfect through yoga, fitness and whatnot.

In a world of duality, there is nothing better than the duality flow. But since most want to be in control and establish that via single-minded postulates, it may, at first, feel anxiety-provoking to be in the duality flow. To stop the constant interaction of opposing experiences, you may decide to be unquestionably right about something. Although this gives you a sense of superiority, the overall feeling is despair because you never seem to get it quite right. That is until you stop upholding singular opinions as facts but go with the duality flow. In that, any point of view is exposed as twofold. Thus you feel nonsectarian, which is necessary to feel completed by the constant interaction of opposites in a world of duality. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Please be aware that you are not in charge. The brain is. If a health care professional is needed, it wants you to make the connection, but it does not need your help connecting with nature. The brain has already hooked you up with the cosmos. That is why you do not fall off the planet, for example. When the physical linkage with the universe is not disrupted by mental ideas like mindfulness, you feel entirely connected.

This does not mean you must abandon such ideas to feel connected with nature but that you perceive your interpretation of them as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals it is dual. Therefore, since you are in a world of duality, you are aligned with its nature. Being that, you do not wonder what is coming because that is in the duality flow. Read more about that here.  Hence your next step comes automatically – just like breathing in follows breathing out.

All in all, there is nothing you need to stop thinking or doing if you want to undo the belief in duality. It ends by itself if your interpretations of your experiences are perceived as ´it is what it is.´This exposes your judgment as dual. Thus you are aligned with the world of duality, and since everything has a beginning and end in such a world, this perception is the beginning of the end.

Should the descent into hell** seem so distressing that you overlook its counterpart, relaxation, a break from duality may be the way to go. This is not done by pacifying yourself via meditation, praying or sedating music, for example, but by not withholding your anxiety, so the full speed of it can ignite a take-off to the empty breath (read more about that in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

The empty breath immediately brings you to a state of not-knowing if you want to be released from duality. In this state, experiences go on, as usual. But since there is nobody to respond to them, there is no reaction to establish they make a difference. Hence the idea that there is more than oneness falls apart. And so does the brain after 20 minutes, 45 at most, because without the affirmation of differences, it has nothing to process. Consequently, you should not remain in a state of not-knowing too long at a time if you do not want to permanently undo the belief in duality (read more about that here).

Fortunately, not much time is needed in a state of not-knowing to have the slate wiped clean (read more about that here), so you return to a world of duality with the perception ´it is what it is.´ Read more about that here. When that is the default perception of your response to an experience, it is not sensed as singular but twofold. Hence, as you probably already have figured out, the descending to hell is complemented with arising to heaven. Thus you feel complete.

This is not to say that non-duality is a fusion of heaven and hell or the union of all contrasts. On the contrary, non-duality is not something, nor nothing, because it takes more than one to be anything. Hence non-duality is formless and therefore endless, wherefore it is everything.

However, the topic of hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality is not non-duality but duality. You need to be fully anchored in the idea that you are someone in a world of duality if you want to undo that belief – just like you need to play a game to finish it. Thus we continue in the context of duality in You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 2.


*) This transition happens over time and mostly at sleep because you cannot interrupt the brain with foolish ideas of unity and wellness when not awake. So if you feel like sleeping a lot, by all means, do it.

To be a basic self is to be happy, yet most prefer to be special and sad

In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read about the perception ´it is what it is´ in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. Also, hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one,

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self hides unpleasant psychological issues from its awareness by dumping them behind physical problems. Thus it can preserve its image of being friendly. To prevent the concealed psychological problems from surfacing and expose its peaceful image as fake, the special self never allows itself to relax unless in a structured way. On the other hand, the basic self has no special image to uphold. Consequently, relaxing happens naturally.

This does not mean that the basic self never explodes of anger. But, contrary to the special self, it does not see this as wrong. Therefore, since it never hides its rage or any other emotion but perceives its reaction to them as ´it is what it is,´ there are no suppressed emotions from the past to trigger.

That said, nobody is perfect, so there may have been times when the basic self forgot to perceive its reaction to something as ´it is what it is.´ No problem. It is never too late in perceiving a past response as ´it is what it is´ and have it revealed not to be definitive but twofold, so you are aligned with duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self uses much energy to suppress the thoughts and feelings judged as negative or politically incorrect. This it deems necessary to live in the now, come from the heart or whatever enhances its image of being unique. On the other hand, the basic self has no need to appear special. Therefore, as nothing needs to be excluded or corrected, every moment is the perfect moment. See hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment.

Being the basic self, you perceive every moment as perfect (read more about that here), no matter the body’s condition, because the basic self perceives its reaction to that as ´it is what it is.´ This is why Alexius feels good even though his physical condition does not contribute to this. Internal organs have been harmed due to Scheuermann’s disease, so he has chronic GERD and inflammation in the lungs and the nose. Furthermore, he has been operated on three times in the heart, and one of his eyes hardly works. The list goes on.

He has never been smoking and always been eating healthy and exercising, so it does not seem he can improve his physical issues. Sometimes, though, he turns into the special self in an attempt to boost his physical wellbeing. But since this attempt is based on not feeling good enough, it enhances that feeling. Therefore, frustration builds up until he returns to the default perception of the basic self, ´it is what it is.´ That makes him feel good, regardless of appearance.

This is not to say you should not take care of the body when you are tuned into being the basic self because you are bound to follow the brain’s instructions regardless of being that. And they include taking care of the body. However, the special self does not like to follow orders, so it hides that it obeys the brain by making a perception in which the special self appears to be in charge, or going with a spiritual flow.

As that perception is out of sync with the brain´s script, the special self does not feel happy but rejected. This feeling it disguises by projecting it onto obscure parts of the body. But you cannot hide an abstract problem in something substantial. The body senses you try to do that and fight it by shooting off here and there. Thus your attempt of combining a psychological issue with a physical one turns into a psychosomatic disorder that cannot be healed until the unfortunate idea that body and mind are connected is dropped. Hereafter the body is free to heal itself, and emotional problems can be dealt with in the non-physical sphere where they are conceived.

Should you have conditioned yourself to feel relaxed when you hear a specific kind of music, you find yourself part of a story, where you know you will relax every time you hear this music. In other words, what you believe in feeling is a product of your story.

And as most of what you believe in feeling rests on stories, you are hardly ever in touch with your emotions but how you have conditioned yourself to feel them. This suits the special self very well. It does not want to experience its feelings as they are, but how it imagines them according to a story about its own greatness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is the counterpart of a feeling that defines it. Therefore, as hate defines love, feeling in love is not a singular but twofold feeling. Hence you must include hate to feel love. But since the special self always excludes the unpleasant parts of a duality pair from its awareness, it has no hatred to define it feels love. Thus it does not know if it loves somebody. That is why nothing seems good enough. However, this confusion is settled the moment the special self stops excluding the emotions perceived as improper.

But the special self is afraid that the inclusion of incorrect feelings, such as sexual lust, power strivings, selfishness, greed, envy, anger and rage, will destroy its carefully created image of perfection. Therefore, the special self keeps on excluding unfavourable feelings. But since all emotions are paired with their counterpart, it is impossible to experience positivity without negativity. So when the special self feels positive, it is fake. In other words, the suppression of emotions perceived as wrong does not make the special self perfect but phoney.

If feelings perceived as unfavourable are not excluded, they are automatically included. Since negativity, therefore, meets its buddy, positivity, you feel complete. Read about inclusion versus exclusion in hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss.

When a ball is coming your way, it´s a natural reflex to respond and following such reflexes is pure fun.

The basic self has no need to establish anything as special. It knows all experiences are produced side by side in the brain  – just like everything is together on your hard disk or in the cloud even though they seem to be divided in different appearances on your screen. Therefore, as nothing is separated, the apparent differences do more make a difference.

The special self wants to believe that the apparent difference makes a difference, so it can judge one to be better than another and see coherence and consistency where there is none. The purpose of this is to make it look like the special self makes a difference. But since every experience is produced and regulated by the brain and not you, this is impossible.

Yet, it is possible to perceive the experiences created by the brain, so everything that does not establish you to make a difference is excluded. But since this is archived by imagining, you can hide the eliminated experiences behind the experience of bodily pain, the special self ends up with psychosomatic problems.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Sometimes a doctor may check the function of a body by knocking on special points to see if the involuntary movements work. But, actually, everything you think you do is automatic. If you believe to be in control, you have worked hard to perceive the body´s activity as generated by you.

To fabricate this perception, the behaviour of automatic reflexes is translated into something that seems to have been chosen by you. And by learning how to suppress the reflexes that do not fit into your idea of calling the shots, you become a person who seems to do everything by your own choice. And those judged to be outside of you appear to be doing things against or for you by their choice. However, keeping up this impression is hard work because you always have to hide that your reaction to something is involuntary to appear as you are in control.

It is so much easier just to go with the flow of the natural reflexes. It also feels much better because, being nobody, there is not somebody else – and that is so peaceful.

In the past, the special self made up a hateful story to use as the foundation for perceiving the present to confirm its past judgment of others as evil. And since the past, therefore, appears to repeat itself, the special self can rest assured in its perception of itself as good and others as bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If somebody triggers an old feeling of rejection in the special self, it first interprets it as an attack. Next, it justifies feeling rejected by being attacked. Since the feeling, therefore, seems to originate in the attacker, the special self can conclude, the feeling does not come from itself. Should the attacker expose this self-deception, the special self points out something from the past that makes the attacker feel guilty. Thus the special self is off the hook and can rest assured that it is perfect, and the attacker is flawed.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self does not know what it feels, only what it is supposed to experience when somebody is too late for an appointment, for example. But this, it does not feel either. The disappointment is suppressed in an explanation of being unjustly treated.

The moment the special self stops justifying made-up feelings, they are exposed as fake. Nobody is unjustly treated in the brain´s script. It is all about feeling entertained by duality, which you are when not perceiving your reaction to your experiences in a specific way but as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals your response to something is never singular but twofold. Therefore, since you are in a world of duality, you feel complete

The stories you make to hide what you feel, sooner or later clash with the actual experiences of the world where you seem to be.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you, in your culture, are supposed to feel disrespected when someone is more than 15 minutes late for a meeting, you can, in a rational way, prove to others that you are in the right when you claim you feel hurt. But since rationally explaining a feeling changes it to a mental concept, you do not feel hurt. The only feeling left is that of victory because you have convinced others that you are right when you say you have been hurt.

But since that only last as long as others are willing to listen to the story of your made-up feeling, you feel frustrated when another story catches their interest. No worries. If you perceive the meaning you have assigned to your story as ´it is what it is,´ nothing in it adds up to something specific. Hence the story cannot be used to justify being unfairly treated and thus not suppress what you actually feel. Being in touch with that makes you feel so fulfilled that you do not need the satisfaction of being in the right. Read more about made-up feelings here.

When you justify an unpleasant emotion of yours with something seen as wrong outside you, the feeling is buried in a mental drama of fairness. Thus you do not know what you feel. Instead, you speak about the feeling you are supposed to have according to the story you made to hide, you are afraid of everyone because you expect them to get back at you for blaming them for your negative emotions.

This is too shameful to admit when you feel attacked by others. Thus, by reflex, you invent a new story where you are angry because you have been mistreated by others. Therefore, as you appear innocent, you conclude you are pure.

But this setup makes you feel you always run away from something. So, as usual, you hide what you feel by changing the focus from you to others in whom you point out the flaws that you instinctively knows will make them feel guilty. This you are very good at, and all your friends know it. Yet, they do not expose you. That would also unmask them because they also look for someone to attack to get off the hook. That is why they recognise it in you.

To hide that they all hate the world, they meet in special groups where they hug and share in a collectively agreed way that looks like they are united. Yet, it is not love that connects them but the wish to hide they hate each and every one. Naturally, nobody wants to acknowledge this, least of all they want to speak about in the group because anybody who does not censor themselves to speak and act within the language of love established by the group, or its guru, is expelled. Then there is nowhere to go to find relief from your despair.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no truth to extract from Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. They are a part of a world where there seems to be more than one, and such a world is non-existing because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Hence the differentiation of a basic and special self and their perceptions are nonsense. Nevertheless, this craziness can be beneficial in exposing the absurdity of believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Since oneness is formless and therefore endless, there are no feelings at all unless you believe it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. In the context of that belief, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings talk about physical and psychological feelings plus a feeling of emptiness, which is pure bliss (see hack #5.3 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

In this hack, we take a closer look at the combination of physical and psychological feelings. That combo brings about a psychosomatic disorder, which feels like being in a cage made of grievances, fear and anxiety.

The fastest way to repair a psychosomatic disorder is to not perceive it as ´I know what it is´ but ´it is what it is.´ The first view is categorical, whereas the second one does not have a monocratic but dualistic approach. Hence the second view brings you in alignment with dualism, and since you are in a world of duality, this is the way to go if you want to feel good.

Suppose it seems impossible not to go on as conditioned and rationalise a psychosomatic disorder into something you seem to know. In that case, it may be helpful to split it into psychological and physical issues. Hence each of them can be approached on their own term. But then again, you have distanced yourself so much from the psychological problem that it seems to have vanished, so you cannot split the psychosomatic disorder.

No problem, it is not about how you deal with the disorder but how you perceive your reaction to it. When you perceive that as ´it what it is.´ your response is revealed to be dual. Hence the disorder has no specific effect on you. And since there is no cause without an effect, there is no psychosomatic disorder. Instead, there is a psychological and a physical problem that you can approach in an immaterial and material way.

In other words, to start the healing of a psychosomatic disorder, there is nothing you need to change but your perception of your reaction to it. Read more about that in The body is made to deal with physical issues, not psychological ones.

When you perceive your response to an experience as ´I know what it is,´ you have quickly chosen between different points of view to see which one proves ´I know what it is.´ Meditation cannot stop this hectic and unpleasant movement of thoughts required to appear as if you are in the know. But if your reaction to an experience is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ you do not need to look for explanations that seem to confirm you are on top of it. Consequently, you are at peace.

Everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality. That is why singular opinions and feelings are fake, and you need to make them real by imagining that holding back the breath breaks up the duality pairs into particular elements independent of each other, so you are someone definitive instead of relative to duality. The suffering of the body that this separation from duality entails cannot be solved by breathing exercises. On the contrary, they seem to confirm the belief that you are in charge of who you are, although you would die quickly if you were to manage the breath because you would not remember it.

However, if you perceive your single-minded opinions and feelings as ´it is what it is,´ each of them is revealed to be paired with its opposite. Since your views and feelings, therefore, are twofold, you are in the duality flow. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality. Hence, there is no need to imagine being in charge of the breath and thus able to set up a particular image of yourself.

If you wonder how to differentiate between physical and psychological feelings, you can count on the former being annoying, the latter overwhelming and the perceived combination of them worrying.

And if you do not know when you hide specific feelings, you can be almost sure this is what you do if you generally keep your mouth sealed. In most cases, that is an attempt to prevent feelings from coming out. And keeping the shoulders back is often a physical expression of attack, whereas keeping them forward may be an attitude of defence. Thus you, either in an offensive or defensive way, insists on having or not having a specific emotion, so you, for example, feel love but not hate or the other way around.

This separation of love and hate makes you feel fragmented, whereas you feel complete when they are paired. In other words, when hatred and love are coupled, they support each other and give you a genuine feeling of togetherness, contrary to the uncertainty you get when separated.

Whatever is perceived in the psyche to affect the body or in the body to affect the psyche is made-up connections. Fortunately, they are undone when you perceive your reaction to the effect as ´it is what it is.´ Since the connection was purely mental, you feel relieved in the psyche. Hence you have no need to force your ideas of balance, wholeness and whatnot on the body. Therefore, it is free to deal with itself materially. Should it need help from healthcare professionals, it will let you know.

If you have been heavily invested in the idea of a body-mind connection, you may feel empty when that idea goes down the drain. No worries. Soon you realise how laid-back life is in the absence of this fake unity.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When perceived as ´I know what it is,´ an emotion seems definable. Hence you think it can be compared to a physical feeling that you perceive to be similar. And since a physical feeling is denser and therefore last longer, the emotion also seems to go on if you hold onto this comparison. However, if the experience of an emotion is prolonged, it becomes heavy.

Fortunately, an emotion is not definable as something specific when perceived as´ it is what it is.´ Consequently, it is just a fleeting moment of nothing disguised as something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When something felt in the body is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ the feeling is not defined by you, wherefore it cannot be linked to something psychological or spiritual. Hence the body is free to deal with itself as it is made to do. But, unfortunately, it can be too late, even with the help of a healthcare professional, to heal the problems coming from your ideas of integrating the body with something non-physical.

In that case, you may end up with chronic inflammation, for example. But if you do not combine the psychological sphere with the physical reality anymore, the irritation that seems to arise from the chronic inflammation is not linked to the physical feeling of it. Thus the body can help you living with the sickness as it is.

When perceiving a problem as ´it is what it is,´ you step back from the idea of being in control and thus of fixing it. Therefore, both the psyche and the body can deal with their problems in their own way without being interrupted by your foolish idea of unity.

This does not mean that you do not assist the body by keeping it warm, supplying it with a place to sleep and, supporting it with medicine and vitamins – perhaps prescribed by a healthcare professional. In the case of Alexius, he uses the internet to find something that supports his body, for example Blackroll for massage, nootropics for boosting the brain and far-infrared heating pads for relieving pain.

But it means that you do not pump up the body through fitness or try changing the rhythm of the breath, for example. Believing that you are in charge of yourself is absurd. You do not even know who you are. Besides, going down the stairs is such a complicated process that it would take at least a day if you had to control every movement.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You hold back your breath to block thoughts and feelings which do not fit into the image you have constructed of yourself. Then you do exercises to correct the disrupted breath. But manipulating it further only makes it worse. The problem is not the breath but that you think you can manage it. It needs to flow freely. Thus you a problem with the breath is not solved by exercises. Instead, step back and do nothing, so the breath flows unhindered by your ideas of balance, wholeness and whatnot. If you enhance the sense of pain in a broken rib by combining it with the fear of destruction, you expect to feel severe pain when the breath moves through the broken rib. However, do not try to overcome that by pushing the breath through that area. It is natural to hold back breathing if you expect it to be hurtful when it expands the rib.

Unfortunately, the breath is often held back to perceive particular spots in the body as problematic. This is not healthy, nor is pushing the breath. Both approaches imply you believe to be in control of breathing. But you would quickly die if you should remember to breathe.

The way out of this is not to let the breath be. This idea comes from the belief that you are in charge. The key is to step back, so you are out of the way. That is done by perceiving the fear your problem seems to cause as ´it is what it isThis reveals fear is not alone. It is complemented by confidence, which is defined by fear that is determined by confidence.

In this interplay, called the duality flow, you feel complete and therefore free. Therefore, as there is no attempt to interfere with the breath, it runs freely despite physical issues. Read more about the duality flow in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

That being said, it might hurt in the broken rib when the breath is not regulated to avoid pain. Still, this is less painful than imagined and compared to the joy of an unrestricted breath, it is nothing. Especially because that lays the foundation for the healing of the rib.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Your disgust for others, based on the assumption that you know better, keeps the body tightened. This does not mean you should try to stop your grievances but that you should perceive your reaction to them as ´it is what it is.´ For example, if your grievances make you shameful, you see that this single-minded feeling actually is twofold. Shame is complemented by praise, and since they define each other, acknowledging this matchup makes them so authentic that you feel great. Hence there is no need to know better.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Projecting unpleasant feelings onto the body and expecting them to go away when the body is fixed is like projecting feelings onto your smartphone and expecting them to go away when the phone is repaired. Just like feelings cannot be mixed with the mechanical parts of a smartphone, they do not blend with the physical nature of the body.

In other words, no matter what you project your unpleasant feelings onto, they remain in the psychological sphere. Hence it is there they must be dealt with.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most do not feel and see the body as it is. Instead, they have a vision of what it will feel and look like in the future when they have succeeded in imposing their ideas of perfection upon it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you drive a car, you do not try to change how its engine works or looks. Instead, you use the wheel, gear, gas and brake pedal and trust the machine to do what it is supposed to. But moving around in a body, you try to bypass the biological system so you can shape the body per ideas of mindfulness and wellness.

The application of one or more of the duality hacks reestablishes the connection between the body and the brain. Not by healing the body, though, but by undoing the foolish belief that you are connected with the body. Hence it becomes like a coat you wear. It follows you but there is no connection.

However, the purpose of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not to present a complete explanation of how and why we appear to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, as we are not there or anywhere else, since it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is one.

To turn the basic self into a special one, everything judged as embarrassing you exclude from the perception of yourself. The banned thoughts and feelings you hide from the awareness by combining them with physical feelings coming from weak or deformed parts of the body. Hence psychological feelings in the future are experienced as physical sensations. So when a suppressed psychological issue is triggered, you are not aware of it because you think your experience is physical.

No matter what medicine you take or the diet you follow to stop the discomfort in the body, an abstract feeling of pain remains, namely the psychological issue hidden in the physical experience of the body. This pain comes from the psyche, and it does not go away before it is dealt with in an immaterial way.

Although the clothes and the body wearing them seem to be closely related, they have no understanding of each other. The clothes have no love or anything else to give the body and vice versa. Likewise, immateriality and materiality have nothing to give each other. Their reality is too different. That is why psychologically concepts of how to attain physical wellness do not work.

Thinking you are in control, you are under enormous pressure. You must always look for thoughts that can be used to compose a perception of your experiences, so they seem to prove that you, not the brain, are in control.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The body is made to interact with structures that, like itself, is experienced to be material. That is why the body interprets your attempts to integrate it with non-physical feelings or ideas of spirituality as an attack on its integrity, which it must defend itself against.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To think that you can hide unpleasant feelings in the body is like thinking that you can hide them in a wall. Emotions are immaterial. Hence it is impossible to bury them in something material. However, it is possible to believe that this can be done. If you do that, you look at the body to find hidden problems, even though physical problems consist of nothing but material elements, and the hidden issues are in your perception of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You will never find anything physical in the digital world. Likewise, you will never find something physical in the psychological sphere or vice versa. That is why the concept of a body-mind connection is a scam.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Non-physical feelings are fleeting, so if you want to make them last, you must combine them with something more lasting, like physical feelings. Immateriality and materiality, however, do not mix, so the combination of them is purely speculative. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The nature of non-physical feelings are fleeting, so if you experience a specific one to be sticky, it is not due to them but to you. Maybe you an emotion to last, which you achieve by combining it with a part of the body.

If it is an exceptional experience of love you want to keep, you combine it with a pleasant physical feeling in the heart, for example. But if it is a particular memory of hate you want to hold onto, you link it with pain in the chest. However, just like a wall cannot contain the wind, it is impossible to fuse a body with abstract feelings. Yet, it is possible to mentally blend physicality and psychology so that every time you feel a specific kind of love, you think you feel something nice in the heart. And every time you feel hatred towards someone, you sense something weird in the chest.

Since you, therefore, feel something in the heart or chest that is not there, you have a problem believed to be in the body, which cannot be addressed. That is until you split this psychosomatic disorder into a material and immaterial issue, so you can deal with each one on its own term. In this case, you confront why you need to hold onto a specific feeling of love or hate. Then you consult a doctor to see if the heart is the problem. But most likely, it is the muscles.

However, most people do not want to wipe out the idea of a body-mind connection. On the contrary, they want to uphold their imagined union of immaterial and material issues as real, as then it seems possible to appear as if they have a feeling they do not have. Should this feeling be questioned, they refer to the bodily symptoms they claim is caused by that feeling. They love talking about body-mind connection because that makes it look like they are in control of themselves, even though they do not know who they are.

If you want to undo the imagined combination of immateriality and materiality, a willingness to not remember what and where you imagine being is all that is required. When being nobody is acknowledged, there is no need to make feelings last to define you as somebody.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you have combined a psychological feeling with a physical one, you want this combo to hide or prolong the psychological feeling. Therefore, since you need the part of the body from where you get the physical feeling to remain as it is, you resist healing it. That is until you do not have a need to hide or prolong the psychological feeling you imagine to have hidden there.

Should this split-up of a psychosomatic issue seem problematic, you perceive your reaction to a feeling in the body that seems not only factual but also abstract as ´it is what it is.´ This renders your response indefinable. Thus the body is set free from your opinion, so it can outline the physical part of the combo and heal it in agreement with that. Since a psychological feeling only is sticky if manipulated into oblivion or something lasting, this part of the combo returns to its temporary nature and passes on when looked at.

Healing the psychological part of a psychosomatic combo takes no time. All psychological feelings are fleeting, so they pass on when looked at. The physical part, you deal with by stepping back so the body can heal itself without having to live up to your expectations of wellness and wholeness.

You exclude from your awareness what you do not like about yourself by imagining you combine it with the feeling of a vulnerable part of the body. Thus your psychological problems seem to be hidden inside a bodily problem.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

For years there has been an unhealthy idea about uniting body, mind and soul with you as the master of the combo. Unfortunately, this approach has done much harm to the body. First of all, you are not the master of your appearance – only the perception of it. Secondly, the body is a physical unit built to deal with material matters and not mental, emotional or metaphysical ones – like the digital media where you read, this is made to deal with the digital world and not the physical one.

In other words, you cannot blend immateriality with materiality. However, you can imagine doing it and that your psychological problems, therefore, are buried in the body. But it only knows physical issues, so it feels attacked by something unknown when you attempt to dump psychological problems in the body. Hence it shoots off here and there. And you end up with psychosomatic disorders that cannot be healed until you are willing to bring back the psychological issues to the immaterial sphere.

Doing that may at first seem like you are going insane or being tortured. No worries, as long as you do not edit the unpleasantness, it will not remain for long because the nature of psychological feelings is to pass on when looked at unedited. Read more about this process in You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 1. When the psychological issues have vanished, you do not have psychosomatic disorders but physical issues. Fortunately, the body is an expert in dealing with physical problems. Should it need assistance from a health care professional, it will let you know.

When you see a scary movie, it is experienced to be real because it feels like the fear manifests in your body. The film, however, does not have the ability to scare you and what you feel in the body is purely physical. It is not caused by the events in the movie but by because you perceive them to be so frightening that you tighten up the body.

You perceived them like that because you are conditioned to interpret certain things as scary. And to make it real that this is what you feel, you project the idea on a body part that already is tense and seems to get tenser when you give it your attention. Thus it feels as if it is the movie has an effect on your body.

Sometimes, it goes the other way around. You have a stomach ache, but it does add meaning to your life. So you imagine, the pain is caused by a psychological issue from your past. Unfortunately, this perceived combination results in a psychosomatic disorder that is incurable – especially because the psychological part most likely is made up. Hence there is nothing to heal but the belief that there is someone who has conditioned itself to feel this.

Being in the natural state of happiness does not mean that apparently negative things do not happen. You might think it is too hot, for example, but since you perceive your reaction to this experience as ´it is what it is,´ your response makes it just as entertaining to be hot as cool. It does not rain because you feel sad, nor does the rain has the power to make you feel bad. That is unless you choose to perceive such a course and effect. Likewise, the body cannot make you feel sad, nor does feeling sad makes the body terrible unless you imagine such a connection.

The body does not want to be used as a means to manifest mental ideas of being balanced, centred or connected with higher consciousness, so it fights your abuse of it by tightening itself.

Therefore, the tensions in the body can only be healed when you withdraw your mental assault on the body. This is done by perceiving your reaction to the violation of the body as ´it is what it is´. Since that takes the power of your misguidance, you cannot help but laugh. You may also cry. But that is how it should be, as everything in a world of duality comes in pairs.

This makes you feel complete but maybe also silly because you are not pushing the body to the extremes anymore to feel young and more unique. But then again, since everything comes in pairs, silliness is complemented with wisdom. Thus you feel insightful even though you are not unique.

To prevent feelings in the body from being processed by the brain, part of the body is desensitised by perceiving it to be connected with mental ideas of balance and whatnot. If this benumbing is in the upper part of the neck, the flow between the body and the brain is cut off. Thus you can decide what the body wants and process it as if there is a body-mind connection.

But there is no such combination. On the contrary, the body is material and sees immaterial ideas as an attack on its integrity. Thus, it fights them by continually keeping the shoulders backwards or forward to hold the body in a mode of attack or defence. On top of that, it might lock the hips and/or the loin to balance the upper body’s issues with others in the lower part.

Whatever way it works out, you hold onto it because, as already said, these tensions disrupt the natural flow of communication between the body and the brain, so you can bypass the biological system and impose the body with your mental ideas of wellness.

In this way, the body is used to establish the belief that you are in charge. The body suffers from this egoism, and so do you because believing to be in control, you are out of sync with your nature, which is to serve the brain like a self-driving car follows The Cloud.

You are nothing without the brain, except in your own imagination of being an independent being. But this idea does not change anything other than your perception is not aligned with the brain, wherefore you do not notice the happiness the brain reserves for its creations.

It may, at first, seem dangerous not having the body in a position of defence or attack. But since the basic self perceives everything as ´it is what it is,´ it is in sync with the brain and thus continiously injected with shots of happiness. Consequently, any kind of feeling, whether seen as positive or negative, is amusing.

Regarding the duality hacks, it does not matter how you have mistreated your body to uphold a perception of being its master. The hacks bring you into a state of not-knowing in which the slate is wiped clean, so when you return to the consciousness of being someone, you are the basic self. And since it perceives every reaction it has to something as ´it is what it is,´ it is in sync with the brain and, therefore, in the happiness that comes from being aligned with its maker.

PART XXX
The moods that you like and perceive to reflect who you are, have been materialised in your body – or rather in the way you choose to perceive it. Thus these states of mind can be recalled when something troubles you. But since you also have projected the emotions you do not like onto the body, parts of it might seem to fight your favourite mood.

That is unless you discard the link you have made between physical and psychological feelings and are willing to be in the emptiness that arises from not your own conditioning to feel something specific. It may seem scary at first, but there is nothing to link it to since you are in a void. Thus you realise, when there is not something specific, there is not something to cause problems. Thus you are in the bliss of nothing.

Applying the duality hacks, your conditioned expectations to what you should feel are undone, so you can be in the bliss of nothing.

That being said, just like a pencil needs an eraser to undo its scribblings, you need a duality hack to cancel the link you have made between physical and psychological feelings. This could, for example, be the empty breath.** It is not something but nothing, so that is what it sees. In other words, your link is not acknowledged as something, neither is whatever it links, so you are in the bliss of nothing. See hack #5.3 ´The empty breath´, and the bliss of not believing to be someone for more info about the empty breath** and hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing for how to connect with it.

When you react to something, it is not due to what others do or say but how you have conditioned yourself by linking physical and psychological feelings. It is, therefore, not what they say or do you want to go away but how it triggers the pain of this link in you.

When the body is not used to materialise the feelings you believe establish what you want to be and hide those feelings not supporting it, it is free from your dictatorship. So are you because then the body is not an instrument for conditioning anymore.

Having conditioned yourself to feel something specific in case of specific events, so the perception of yourself as special is upheld, you always are on the lookout for specific reactions in the body that can confirm this.

This automatically happens when connecting with the empty breath** (or applying one or more of the other duality hacks) because the state of not-knowing that this entails wipes the slate clean, so you return to the conscious experience of being someone as the basic self.* Since the brain´s script cannot be changed – only the perception of it – this does not mean you are free to do what you want. But you are free to perceive the script as it is instead of compulsively making up perceptions that seem to change it to something you have conditioned yourself to believe is better.

In sync with the script, you do not try to become happy from being and having something special because you are continuously injected with shots of happiness by the brain for supporting it.

As everything seems the same when being happy, there is no diversity from which you can choose something to be more exciting than something else, and thus no hope of something better to come. You may, therefore, find being in a constant state of happiness to be boring and choose to improve the basic self by making a perception of it in which you seem to be the centre of exciting things as a special self.

This is the end of happiness because now feeling good depends on being and having something special, and it never lasts. But also because the special self is founded on the idea that there must be something better. So no matter what it achieves in being and having, it is never good enough. There must be something better.

Fortunately, the frustration of never finding something better can, if unedited, ignite a take-off to the empty breath,** so you again have the slate wiped clean and return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive as the basic self and thus are injected with shots of happiness. Eventually, you are so happy that there is no more to ask for. Hence the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is undone.

Since that is the whole purpose of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings and since being conditioned or not requires more than one, it really does not matter what you are or whether you are tense. Yet it may matter in the process of having the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is undone. Without conditioning and a tense body, the process of it is so much more fun. Fortunately, you can have your cake and eat too. You can keep any conditioning if you perceive it as it is what it is* because then its built-in expectation of a particular outcome is undone, so you are happy no matter what that is or if you are tense or not.

So not need to make it your new purpose to become free of conditioning and tensions or anything else, for that matter. Rather stick to the undoing of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one because there is no behaviour or anything else to get rid of as that takes more than one.

In hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough, we talk about the awkward sense of something unfamiliar that comes when psychological and physical feelings are combined into a psychosomatic disorder. If not trying to change the awkwardness into something more pleasant, the unedited energy of it ignites a take-off to the empty breath** that replaces the pain with the painless feeling of emptiness

This may at first be experienced as more disturbing than a psychosomatic disorder because it sets aside the sense of being someone. But if that is not avoided, you are walking on clouds of bliss.

INTERLUDE
When you suppress the feelings you perceive to be wrong, the ones seen to be correct are also excluded because, in a world of duality, everything comes in pairs. Since you always look for approval, you do not suppress that. But since it is paired with shame, you cannot help but feel the embarrassment of being an oppressor.

To distance yourself from this feeling, you project it partially on others, your father or boss, for example. But doing so, their approval only seems to be partial. Thus you feel, you are not good enough. If, however, perceiving that as it is what is, it does not result in feeling inadequate. Thus the need to blame somebody for putting you down is gone.

The more you exclude/suppress, the more inadequate you feel. Unfortunately, you probably conclude that to resolve that, you need to eliminate even more. And on it goes until you are so restricted by your editing of yourself and others that the built-up frustrations ignite a take-off to the empty breath.** It wipes the slate clean, so you perceive everything as it is what it is,* and thus are equally entertained by so-called bad things as good ones.

 

When you justify a feeling with something you judge to be wrong, you disguise the feeling behind a mental story of being treated unfairly and thus feel huffy. But you only pretend to feel this because it fits in your story which hides from yourself and others that you actually feel frightened.

You are afraid of everybody because, again and again, you have avoided the awareness of what you judge to be feelings of darkness in yourself by projecting them on others. Hence you feel guilty and constantly go in fear of their retaliation. This would be too shameful to tell when you feel attacked, so you invent a story that justifies that you feel something else caused by somebody. Hence they appear to be treating you bad and you to be innocent and good, so you can conclude there are no feelings of darkness in yourself.

This set up makes you feel stressed, which you, of course, blame somebody else for by making up a story that disguises you are stressed, so you can perceive others to be disturbed and you as relaxed, while you stresses on, and, therefore, maintain the tensions in the body and its attitude of attack/defence. Read more about that here. Everybody else knows you always look for something to attack, but they do not say anything because they do the same. That is why they recognise it in you.

To hide that you hate the whole world, you meet in special groups where everybody treats each other per a collectively agreed way of being united, for example by hugging and sharing. It is not love, though, but a wish to hide hatred that unites the group. This nobody wants to acknowledge, least of all they want to speak about in the group because anybody who does not have the self-control to censor themselves to only speak and act within the language of love established by the group, or its guru, is expelled from. And then there is nowhere to go where you can find relief from your despair.

PART 4:
Sometimes a doctor may check the function of a body by knocking on special points to see if the involuntary movements – also called reflexes – works. But, actually, everything you appear to do in the world where there seems to be more than one is involuntary movements. That is unless you work very hard to make a perception of them, so what and where you appear to be looks like it is your choice.

To make the formlessness of that which is you appear as if it is someone special is not easy. It takes many years of going to school plus many special lessons to learn how to exclude what you judge not to be special.

An image of you as someone special is fabricated by postulating automatic reflexes to be of your own choice and suppressing the experience of the natural reflexes not fitting into the image of you, that you want the world to see.

To fabricate this perception, the behaviour of automatic reflexes is translating into something that seems to be an autonomously choice of someone specific. And by learning how to suppress the reflexes that do not fit into this image of being unique and independent, you become a person who seems to do everything by their own choice. In contrast, those judged to be outside of you seem to be doing things against or favouring you by their choice.

Undoing the belief in being someone special is like taking a step into the unknown – but as life cannot be known, that is exactly where you will find it.

The specific appearance of you that, like a puzzle, has been put together through trials and error is believed to be separated from what you have decided not to be and thus perceive to be outside of you so that it seems the world consists of you and different individuals living an autonomous life.

When this is believed to be a game that you are playing, it is easy to play along, but when believed to be real, it is hard work because you always have to suppress the natural flow to appear as someone living your own special life in your own way and pace.

It is so much easier just to go with the flow of the natural reflexes. It also feels so much better because going with the flow, you feel fulfilled, so you do not need to be special. Being nobody is great because then there is not somebody else – and that is so peaceful.

 

Alexius uses no techniques for being connected with the empty breath or having glimpses of enlightenment. It happens by itself. He does not know how come. But when this is possible for him, he is convinced it is for you too. The above is not meant to imply that you need to go through certain phases to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. Alexius went straight to the enlightenment of that which is one. Yet, he bounced back to the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one before he reached the point of no return. In the experience of being someone in a tangible world, he changes between being the basic self, the special self and in a state of not-knowing. In the latter, he has glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which you can read about in hack #6.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can.

Alexius uses no techniques for this. Yet, he presents some strategies that can facilitate it. See the article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment.

Being someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he knows there is no more than that which is one. So he is not longing to ´return to´ the formlessness of oneness but enjoys pretending to be what and where he is not – just like within the context of where he pretends to be, he sometimes has fun pretending to be somebody in the virtual world of a game. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

In the enlightenment of that which is one, there are no experiences of a world where there seems to be more than one. Nor are there any memories of them because to remember something requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one. For the same reason, there is no experiences at all.

When he has had his fun doing that, he intends to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one with no intention of returning to the consciousness of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

 

APPENDIX:
It is not something personal when the special self blames everybody for being wrong. They are just a means to get rid of whatever the special self perceives as unacceptable in itself so that it can feel good by making them look bad.

Suppose the special self accuses someone of being a dictator and states it by saying you are evil. In that case, it does not necessarily mean that the special self wants to hide a secret wish in itself to dominate. It is more likely that it wants to hide what perceiving someone to be a dictator makes it feel. It could be anger or desperation. Or maybe stubbornness that the special self needs to deny in itself to maintain the belief in being open-minded. It could also be hatred or a basic feeling of not being good enough, which it wants to hide by blaming a perceived dictator for having caused by being unjust.

But whatever feeling the special self excludes from its consciousness of who it is by blaming somebody else for having caused it, the feeling will return to its awareness as a feeling caused by itself when there is nobody to blame for it. To avoid that, the special self is always on the lookout for a scapegoat. For example, if the spouse that it divorced was its primary scapegoat, it probably continues an inner conversation with the spouse until a replacement is found.

This is not to say that one should stop blaming others because if you do that, you miss a perfect opportunity to see what you hide in yourself by blaming them. Having exposed it, you can deal with it where it is made, namely in yourself. Having done that, you do not need to hide and thus not to spent time finding scapegoats to feel okay.

There is probably no faster way to expose a problem of yours than to blame others for having caused it. There probably is no quicker way to resolve the exposed issue than to use its unpleasant energy for a take-off to the empty breath. Doing that, it only takes it one second to wipe the slate clean (read more about that here), so you are restored as the basic self and feels renewed. You do not even have to understand the exposed problem or know what it is to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. All you need is to feel the frustration entirely.

BASIC – SPECIAL SELF

The special self* believes everything would be much better if others would listen to it and follow its lead. Yet, it seldom has a solution to the things it points out as wrong – at least not one that can be implemented. Its primary focus is to find faults in others so they can be blamed for having caused its negative feelings, and they, therefore, are disassociated from the special self, which thus appears to be positive.

Since blaming others for its own negativity makes the special feel guilty, it feels relieved when somebody else is convicted for a crime. This makes it feel that the guilty one has been found, and it, therefore, does not need to fear being punished for making others wrong to make itself look right.

It is crucial for the special self not to feel any emotion as it is so that the image it has made of itself does not crack. Hence it suppresses all feelings and become so numb that it cannot feel anything but the fear of them surfacing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Should you have conditioned yourself to feel relaxed when you hear a specific kind of music, you find yourself as a part of a story, where you feel what you should feel every time you hear this music. In other words, you do not feel what you feel but what you imagine you should feel in this situation. And as most of what you believe in feeling rests on your conditioning, you are hardly ever in touch with your emotions but what you have been conditioned to feel. This suits the special self very well. It does not want to feel its feelings as they are, but how it imagines them according to the story, it has made up of who it is.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self knows there is no need to unite anything in the world because all of its experiences are produced in the brain, so they are already side by side – just like everything is together on your hard disk or in the cloud even though they seem to be separated on your screen. The special self, on the other hand, believes all experiences are created by itself from here and there and thus not together. Hence it tries to control them to unite them or create some kind of consistency or synchronicity. But since every experience is made and regulated by the brain and not you, this is impossible.

But it is possible to make a perception of the experiences created by the brain so that everything that does not attest to you being independent is excluded from it. Since the perception of the excluded is dumped in the experience of vulnerable parts of the body, the special self ends up having psychosomatic problems.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In the past, the special self made up a story of hate and revenge to use as the foundation for how to perceive the present so that it seems to justify its hatred and confirm its past judgment of others as evil. And since the past, therefore, appears to repeat itself, the special self can rest assured in its perception of itself as good and others as bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If somebody triggers an old feeling of rejection in the special self, it first interprets this as an attack on its entity, next it justifies feeling rejected with the attacker. Since the focus, therefore, seems to be on the attacker, the feeling appears to be there and, thus, to have left the special self. Should the attacker expose this projection, the special self points out something from the past that makes the attacker feel guilty. In this way, the special self succeeds in feeling good by making somebody else look bad.

4.3 The psychological and physical sphere does not mix [draft]

If you concentrate a lot, you might sense something that appears to be a person in this image. And if you extend this experience by imagining how the person is, you seem to experience something real. But if you do not focus on seeing something specific, you will not experience anything definable in this image that can define you as someone definitive. Thus you are well on your way back to that which is one because there is nobody in the picture – nor are somebody looking at it. In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. PART 1:
Have you tried sitting in a bathtub and imagined there is a hidden world in the drops of the steam coming up from the hot water? Or have you looked at a painting of persons and sensed their emotions? What you perceive to be there is make-believe because there is nobody in a picture or in the steam from the bathtub. Nevertheless, imagination can make it appear as if something is going on in a lifeless painting or a heat stream.

Allhough projections are not real, they appear to be if you hide their apparent effect is self-made.

Depending on the thoughts projected onto the persons appearing to be in a painting, you will experience them negatively or positively. And if you sense this is caused by them and not you, it feels like the people in the painting are alive. But it is a fantasy. There is nobody but you. And that is also a fantasy because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

To exist is an illusion because it requires more than one to be conscious about something and there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

This illustrates that what and where you experience being is made from fragments of things you imagine to see outside of oneness. It does not explain, though, who imagines seeing this? It is impossible because there is nothing outside of oneness since it is endless, nor is there something inside it, as that calls for more than one. Therefore, as nobody has the experience of something, there is no reasonable way to explain why somebody seems to be reading this. If there were, it would be authentic.

That is why so many like to ask, Who am I? They reckon asking for an answer, there must be one that will establish they exist. But this is just as crazy as asking who the writer of this article is and then start looking for the writer in the article. There is nobody in it, neither in the world where you believe in being because reality is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be somebody.

But here we are – or appear to be – in a world where there seems to be more than one. What to do about it? Nothing because doing something is what makes you appear to be there.

The brain always chooses what is best for everybody because that is what you are since the experience of others is a fiction made in your brain.

This does not mean that you should not deal with the problems that seem to arise in a world where there seems to be more than one. But since the brain is the author of this fiction, it is the brain, not you, that does something if you accept it is in charge. The belief that you are the master and can make the body perfect comes from your misperception of the experiences produced by the brain. For example, you think you can get rid of orange peel, obtain six-packs, or something else that goes against the body’s nature.

Nevertheless, you make it easier for the body – and yourself since you believe in being inside it – if you do not project your ideas of perfection onto the body but keep them in the mental sphere in which thoughts are fleeting. Hence you do not feel the urge to manifest them. 

The acknowledgement of the mental and physical reality as separate systems makes your appearance as someone substantial in a tangible world feels so pleasant that you can leave it without clinging to being someone there.

If pain in the mind is not denied the words that seems to cause the pain cannot hurt, but words projected onto the body – your own or somebody else´s – seems to be able to hurt and confirm the believe, that you are a person to be defined by time and space.

PART 2:
In the mental and/or emotional sphere, you perceive yourself as someone in a body defined by time and space. But as that which is you is formless, and therefore without beginning and end, it is painful to be reduced to someone with a beginning and an end.

Yet, it is pain that makes you appear as you are someone in a material world. When you pinch yourself to determine whether you are dreaming or not, it is the experience of pain that makes you decide you someone substantial in a tangible world.

Since feeling alive, therefore, is bracket together with being in pain, you need to suffer. And since your sole existence as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is based on the denial of the formlessness of oneness, denial is also what you resort to in making the pain bearable. You simply turn down the worst part of it, namely the psychological distress, by projecting it onto the body. As a side effect, that appears to be more real when the projection, eventually, seems to cause physical discomfort.

Having denigrated others to feel good about yourself, you live in constant fear of attack from those you bad mouthed. Hence you turn the body into a weapon of defence or attack by respectively keeping your shoulders deadlocked in a backwards or forward position.

Since the muscles, therefore, become inflexible and eventually start to ache, you have actually used the body to attack yourself. The solution to this is to acknowledge, you have chosen this massacre on your body. By doing that, the body is not to blame. Thus it relaxes.

At that point, you have forgotten that the pain in the body is caused by yourself, so you choose to blame something outside of you for the discomfort. Thus your body turns into a weapon of defence or attack against the world. To effectuate this, you keep the shoulders pushed forward into a defensive position or pushed back into a place of constant readiness to attack.

The tightened body makes you feel safer and as if you are in control. Especially if you push one of the shoulders upwards to further constrict that area. This prevents the signals in the body from passing through the blockage to the brain. Therefore, as it cannot process them, you can mentally explain them, which seems less frightening than feeling them.

Women tend to allow the body´s flow of emotions to reach the brain. But they prevent the expression of feelings processed by the brain by replacing them with a mental story in which a woman knows the most about feelings, both her own and others. Her made-up insight she uses to manipulate others into acknowledging her as a unique and caring person.

A way to keep unwanted feelings hidden inside the body is to hold the mouth closed, even when you smile. Thus no unpleasant emotion slip out. However, you cannot selectively exclude one feeling. Men, generally, also want to be acknowledged as unique. To achieve that, they prevent the body´s flow of emotions from reaching the brain. Thus men can make up a story where they, like a hero, do the right thing regardless of feelings. Unfortunately, this way of hiding their feelings mostly stiffens the left side of the body, whereas the woman´s approach hardens the right side. There are many ideas to restore the body´s flow. But since the disruption is caused by the idea that you can control your appearance, the problem is not in the body but the mental sphere, where there is a basic notion of not being good enough as you are.

The brain loves when its experiences make you believe you are something, so you do not discover what you experience in being is fantasy it has made from nothing. Read more about that in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

This is a misunderstanding based on the perception that you are not the person the brain has created. However, accepting that the person you experience to be is developed by the brain, you feel cherished because the brain loves its creations.

This acceptance comes from not suppressing your reaction to what you believe in being. Thus it can be perceived as ´it is what it is,´ which reveals that if your response is feeling abandoned, it is complemented with being supported because everything comes in pairs in a world of duality. Therefore, you feel complete as you are.

Therefore, as you do not need to interfere with the body’s flow of feelings, it can communicate with the brain, which knows how to heal the problems you have caused in the body. However, this does not mean you disregard common sense. Instead of interfering with the body, you can assist it by softening it via far-infrared heating pads, give it massage them with the help of Blackroll and energise it by Nordic Walking. To ensure there are no serious problems with internal organs, you may have to consult a qualified physician. Read more about taking care of the body here.

Maybe the physical symptoms caused by your misuse of the body will never be entirely fixed. But if the remaining problems are perceived like the basic self would do, namely as ´it is what it is,´ you do not experience these limitations as something to prevent you from feeling complete. Thus you can enjoy the belief in being someone definitive while slowly but surely having it undone.

PART 3:
To distract yourself from experiencing anger as an emotion you have, it is excluded from your awareness by dumping it in the body’s darkness – at least, that is how a psychologist explains it. But immaterial issues cannot be hidden in something material. So what really happened is that you combined the psychological pain with how you felt a vulnerable spot in the back, for example.

When you once have concluded your anxiety is caused by physical pain, you by reflex look for the same connection every time you are worried. Hence you automatically search the body for a flaw that can explain you feel worried. That is until you do not try to explain away your worries, but perceive them as ´it is what it is.´

This reveals they are in a constant interaction with calmness, so they can define each other. Therefore, since you cannot feel worried without being calm and vice versa, they confirm each other. Hence there is no need to get rid of your worries to feel calm.

So since the irritation coming from the psychological problem is experienced to be the same as the discomfort coming from a physical issue in the back, the psychological problem seems to have disappeared. That is why you, hereafter, automatically combine an immaterial problem with a material one to make it go away.

However, this fusion is an illusion because a psychological issue cannot be combined with a physical one. Thus, its perceived result, namely a psychosomatic disorder, is impossible to heal before being seen as two problems. A psychological one that is felt as anxiety for something weird and diffused. And a physical problem experienced as more straightforward and matter-of-fact.

Do not try to analyse or understand those two feelings. Instead, start off by experiencing your emotional issue unedited and then perceive your reaction to that as ´it is what it is.´ This takes the edge of the psychological problem. Thus there is nothing unpleasant you want to hide by combining it with the experience of physical pain.

Therefore, since the body does not feel attacked by something non-physical, it does not need to defend itself by attacking this and that. Instead, it uses its energy on fixing physical problems. Be aware, this is not the function of the duality hacks. They do not heal the body but the sick belief that someone is in it.

But even though the duality hacks ´only´ heal the belief that you are someone in a body, having that belief undone, ever so slightly, you do not feel to interfere with the ways of the body. Instead, you want to assist it like you support a car with electricity and send it to the garage for a checkup once in a while. In other words, regarding an imagined physical/psychological combo, you may call for professional assistance to solve the material part of it.
