You are set free from duality when you do not know what and where you are

There are endless of parallel universes in the brain where they, like in a computer game, are in the code that determines the subsequent events caused by your choices. This system is encrypted, so the effect of a decision you make plays out as arranged in advance by the brain. You are, however, free to perceive the fabrications of the brain as you wish. But if your perception is out of sync with its script, you feel frustrated rather than entertained – just like a movie is not fun to watch when you think the plot is wrong.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
When the script of the brain is perceived as ´it is what it is´ (see hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one), you feel entertained no matter how it proceeds – just like you do when you watch a movie where you have accepted the plot as it is.

Perceiving the script of the brain as ´I know what it is,´ you do not feel entertained but frustrated because, as in a film, it moves in the way the director wants. To disguise you have no say in this, you rearrange the comments popping up inside of you about your impressions of the script, so they appear to confirm the perception ´I know what it is.´ In return, this perception seems to establish your corrections as factual and you, therefore, to be in charge.

If the script is perceived as ´dunno what it is,´ you do not care about establishing something because you are the bliss of nothing. It is a bit like watching a movie where you do not get the plot. Hence the way it moves forward does not seem to add up to something, wherefore you are not troubled by anything and, therefore, on the path of the least resistance. Actually, it is so little that after 20 minutes, 45 at the most, you do not experience something at all. Consequently, there is nothing to hide there never was or will be anything but that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of oneness.

Since this is the end of the illusion that there is someone experiencing something, you should not maintain the perception ´dunno what it is´ too long at a time if you want to pick up this experience again. In that case, you better cycle between ´dunno what it is,´ and ´it is what it is,´ which is a shift between being someone who experiences the bliss nothing and the happiness of something. If every comment popping up inside of you about your impression of this photo is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ nothing has been added or subtracted from the experience of the image. Thus you are in sync with the experience as it is created by the brain, which, therefore, rewards you with a sense of happiness. But you are not in sync with the script of the brain if you rearrange the comments popping up about the photo, so they seem to prove a point of yours and thus the perception ´I know what it is.´ Hence there is no reward or a feeling of connection, so you feel something is missing. Nor are you in sync with the script when your perception is ´dunno what it is.´ In this case, however, you do not need the happiness of something because you are in the bliss of nothing. In conclusion, the perception ´it is what it is´ rules out egoistic behaviour and ´I know what it is´ endorses it. Yet most people prefer the latter because, contrary to the former, it makes them feel in control. However, it requires much self-discipline to maintain the claim ´I know what it is,´ so they also feel imprisoned. Although this feeling of constraint vanishes the moment the perception is replaced with ´it is what it is,´ hardly anybody wants this change because it puts an end to their sense of being in charge as well. Hence they stick to ´I know what it is´ by always being on the way to the next moment, which they dream up in such a manner that it seems to support the perception ´I know what it is.´

Despite the perception ´dunno what it is,´ rules out the brain, which so many claims they want, very few choose this perception. Probably because without the support of the brain, there is no self because it is a creation of the brain. So out of fear for not being something, almost everybody continues their ambivalent relationship with the brain instead of choosing the perception ´dunno what it is.´ Hence they pass up the bliss of nothing which clears the way to glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and thus to everything since oneness is formless and therefore endless.

No matter what perception one selects, the script of the brain goes on as scheduled. This does not mean you are bound to go a specific way. You are free to choose your direction. But no matter what you decide, the subsequent events are already arranged by the brain. Just like you cannot do anything in a video game that is not part of the script. When you do not share experiences of love and whatnot with someone perceived to be different from you, separation gets undone.

But as mentioned in the above, the script does not go on, if you stick to the perception ´dunno what it is´ for more than 20 minutes, 45 at the most. When you do not have a conscious experience of an ongoing conversation in your head between someone perceived to be you and someone interpreted not to be you, separation is not confirmed. And since that is the foundation for the brains fantasy about a world where there seems to be more than one, it cannot continue. Hence the brain falls into a coma.

PART 3:
The perception ´dunno what it is´ lies down all the tensions you have made in the body to prevent it from communicating with the brain, so you can manage the body yourself and in an imperialistic way make it a serve your perception, ´I know what it is.´. In other words, as soon as your the perception changes to ´dunno what it is,´ tensions are relieved and you, therefore, prevented from blocking the natural flow of info between the body and the brain. Consequently, the body can get the info it needs from the brain to heal itself. Read more about that in hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough.

That is if, of course, until you interrupt the healing process by changing the perception to ´I know what it is.´ This is not to say that you cannot help the brain in its restoration of the body. Nootropics, for example, may help kickstart the process. And a healthcare professional is called for if the body suffers from zoonotic diseases like HIV, Mers and COVID 19, or other sicknesses caused by human interference with the ecosystems of the world. A healthcare professional is also needed for more trivial problems like a broken arm, or severe issues like a heart condition.

However, if you want to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one is (read more about that in hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one), and thus the complete undoing of the belief in being someone at all, the condition of the body is not essential. But until then, it seems crucial for having a satisfactory experience of being a substantial being in a tangible world.

If you try to see reason, coherence, purpose or something else that makes your life seem spiritual, you will never get the relaxation and satisfaction that comes from the perception ´it is what it is,´ but the stress and despair which derives from seeking out thoughts that seem to confirm ´I know what it isPhoto © Alexius Jorgensen.

Should the perception ´dunno what it is´ seems a bit too much in your daily life, you can, in regard to the disintegration of tensions, use the technique described in the paragraph The taste of life in Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment. In this context, there is no need to focus on the taste. Actually, you use the technique for its capability to defocus and thus to disintegrate tensions. Applied only for that, you can use it as much as you like, whenever you are not engaged in something like talking and eating.*

The implementation of the technique may feel like taking tranquillisers but without any side effects and cost. If you like, you can also use far-infrared heating pads from, for example, UTK technology on the tense area. And sometimes music is helpful as well. In this regard, Alexius likes Hanan Townshend, but you may prefer somebody else.

Be aware though, the release of tensions may, at first, feel like a descent into hell because, without those blockages to stop the natural flow in the body, it casts out everything you have inflicted on the body to support your self-glorifying vision of being in control. INTERLUDE
A common way to avoid a flare-up of a painful tension in the body is to conceal it with a new one quickly made of complaints. If pain in the hip, for example, many times have been buried in this way, it may result in spasms radiating out in the body, so new problematic areas pop up, for example in the stomach. Since the cause of the troubled stomach is not a digestive problem but a symptom of the original tension in the hip, changing your diet does not make the actual problem go away, although it might relieve the symptom in the stomach.

Feelings that seem to hunt you are no longer experienced as dangerous when the threat is perceived as ´it is what it is´ because then you feel at ease.

But if your worries about the stomach are acknowledged, they can be perceived as ´it is what it is,´ which rinses them for meaning. Hence there is no psychologic reaction to hide that the experience of an upset stomach is a symptom of something else. If you notice the sudden vibrations that this give rise to in the original tension, you know where it is.

This is not important to know, though, because when you do not project psychological issues on vulnerable parts of the body, it does not feel attacked. Thus the body relaxes, the breath moves freely, and the biological system takes care of the body as it was made to do. However, as already mentioned, there might be cases where the help of professional healthcare is needed, and something is maybe too damaged to be completely healed. But perceiving your reaction to that as ´it is what it is,´ you feel happy no matter the condition of the body.

Even though a dream is made of nothing, it is often experienced to be something. Likewise, it is an illusion when you, with eyes open,  see a world of something. According to science, it is not a creation of something but nothing, which appeared to happen when an explosion, they call the big bang, came from out of nothing. In other words, no matter how you interpret your experiences, they are not something, least of all spiritual because you are nothing and spirituality is everything since it is formless and therefore endless. PART 2:
It can be quite challenging to change one´s perception from ´I know what it is´ to ´it is what it is´ because the former perception is secured by massive tensions in the muscles. And although you may like to get rid of them, you hold back because the tensions block off the communication between the body and the brain, so you can take over and manage the body in an attempt to integrate it with spirituality, for example via yoga.

The world and premise of duality are just as unrealistic as a movie with superheroes. But if you go for it as it is, you feel entertained, which is all what it is about.

But that is not possible. Spirituality is non-duality, and it requires more than one to combine something. Besides, there is nothing but non-duality, since it is formless and therefore endless, so the experience of being someone in a world of duality is an illusion. However, while you believe this experience is real, the body should be handled within the boundaries of duality – just like you deal with the experience of being someone in video game within the limits of its virtual world.

Everything in duality comes in pairs, so being in sync with duality does not mean you only have substantial experiences of an outer world but also abstract encounters of an inner world. See hack #5-7.3 The inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it. If you do not try to interpret any of the experiences of an outer or inner world to be visions of non-duality but deal with them within the limitations of duality as it is orchestrated by the brain, you automatically make the perception ´it is what it is.´

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings are written within the reality of duality. They do not claim to be non-dual or to know what it is, since that requires more than one. But they claim to know what is not non-duality, namely everything experienced because it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

As an appreciation for your support of duality as it is and not as you think it should be, the brain injects you with shots of happiness. Eventually, they make you feel so high that your perception changes to ´dunno what it is.´ It may happen while you go for a walk in the city, sit on a bench in the park, watch a movie, or are about to fall asleep. You do not have to stop or do anything in particular to enter this state of not-knowing, which brings you back to the nothingness, the brain twists into experiences of something. Having witnessed this, you realise experiences are not something but nothing. Thus you can turn them off like you leave a dream, namely, by recognising there is nothing in it, nor you because you are in your bed. If you, metaphorically speaking, do not wish to realise you are in your bed and not in a dream of duality, you can have fun appearing as someone in this dream if you shift between perceiving it as ´it is what it is´ and ´dunno what it is.´

Hence, as already mentioned, you go back and forth between the happiness of something and the bliss of nothing until you remain in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, and all experiences disappear because you suddenly remember, you are not in the dream but in your bed.


Reality is that which is one because it is formless and therefore endles. And as it takes more than one to give or take something, the duality hacks have nothing to give or to take from you. That is why they reveal the bliss of nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The more you perceive an experience as ´it is what it is,´ the more carefree you feel. Perhaps so much that the perception automatically changes to ´dunno what it is´ and bring about glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one because it is nowhere.

APPENDIX:
The perceptions described in the above do not have to contain the exact same words. It could also be ´shit happens´ or ´so what,´ or something else. As long as the essence is alike, they work the same. That being said, the perception ´I know what it is´ only works in the sense that it makes you feel special. You are still what, and where the brain wants you to be, which you do not try to change when you rest with the perception, ´it is what it is

Choosing the perception ´dunno what it is,´ you leave the script behind. Not in a sense, that you are not what and where the brain has planned, but you do not perceive your experience of it as something because you are in the bliss of nothing.

To uphold the perception ´I know what it is,´ you must suppress your actual experience and thus your feelings about it. The two other perceptions do not involve denial. On the contrary, an experience cannot be perceived as ´it is what it is´ or ´dunno what it is,´ if you deny it.

In other words, suffering cannot be avoided  because, without acknowledging the experience of it, you cannot perceive it as ´it is what it is.´ Doing that, however, the experience is no longer definable, wherefore there is no suffering. To spell it out, when perceiving everything as ´it is what it is´ no feeling last. So, like a little child, you go from one mood to the other, and none of them settles down. Since this abstractness is the world of the inner senses, it leads to glimpses of enlightenment. See hack #5-7.3 The inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it.

Neither the perception ´it is what it is´ or ´dunno what it is´ works if the intention is to get over and done with something. That is unless you perceive this motive as ´it is what it is´ because that flushes out any idea of achieving something specific. If it is perceived as ´dunno what it is,´ there is not something to accomplish because you are in the bliss of nothing.


*) Alexius started to apply the technique for The taste of life about 50 years ago with the sole purpose of doing that. He cannot remember when he became aware of its side effect of defocussing and thus dissolving psychological problems projected on the body. So maybe this takes a while, or he was just not aware of it in the beginning. Anyway, getting the tongue as close to the uvula as you can is good enough when the only purpose is to defocus. In a world of duality, there is no compassion without brutality

yWith eyes closed, you may still see images of the world because the brain does not need information from your sensory system to produce them. This is just something it claims to distract you from realising, that it has created all your experiences of something from out of nothing (read more about that here). Since it requires more than one to have a shape, oneness is formless and therefore endless. And since it also calls for more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one, the awareness of something is an illusion. This hallucination, however, seems to become real when oneness is imagined being split into two, an observer and the observed, as they appear to confirm the existence of each other. Hence the observer concludes that it must go on separating to be alive.

But doing so destroys the pairs of opposites that oneness originally was split into, so each side could define the other, and their interaction would produce a full experience of duality. Hate, for example, was paired with love to define the experience of that. When the link is broken, however, there is no hate to define love, wherefore it feels incomplete.

That is why the observer presses on to find real love until it realises, that hate and love are two sides of the same coin, so you cannot have one without the other. Nor can you have peace without a fight, relief without an ache, action without inaction, perfection without imperfection, and so on. As love, therefore, cannot be felt without hate, you deceive yourself if you claim to only feel love. It is a mental concept you have plugged into by thinking about hugging, for example, and holding on to the thoughts that confirm a theoretical idea of pure love. Fortunately, you do not need to understand the nature of duality, if you want to undo the belief that separation is possible. On the contrary, since it requires more than one to understand something, it is not knowing what and where you are, that undoes this belief.

All the duality hacks take you back one second in linear time to the nothingness from where the brain has fabricated your present experience. In this case, that you are someone definitive who now reads, it took the brain one second to invent this experience from out of nothing (read more about that here). Being empty, though, you are in the bliss of non-being. Thus the experience is not perceived to be something.

You cannot bid welcome the enlihtenment of that which is one when you want to exist because it takes more than one to be alive. This does not mean you need to die. That also calls for more than one.

If you remain in this state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, the enlightenment of that which is one set in. The enlightenment of that which is one does not alter or transform anything, as that requires more than one. Instead, it wipes out everything that calls for more than one. Hence there is nobody to be aware of a fantasy about somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and, therefore, not somebody who appears to hide, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Leaving a state of not-knowing before the enlightenment of that which is one set in, you return to the fantasy of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one with the slate wiped clean. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

Thus you start from the ground up, moving very slowly as if you practise qigong. Unlike that, however, your stretching has no other purpose than to fine-tune the body as a tool for the experience of duality. This dedication to duality is also why you do not attempt to pull apart the pairs making up the experience of it but comply with their synergy to get the full experience of duality. The collaboration of love and hate, for example, fix you up with the complete experience of a relationship.

If memories from your childhood is the basis for your perception of a movie you watch as a grown-up, you are out of sync with its plot. It, therefore, seems to make you frustrated rather than entertained. Fortunately, this is corrected right away if you perceive the plot, or your judgment of it, as it is what it is.

This perception makes the plot amusing no matter how it evolves because you are in sync with the itt as it is and not as what you think it is. Likewise, when the script of the brain is perceived as it is what it is. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

Like a movie, the experience of polarity unfolds as scripted by the director. Since that is not you, there is nothing you can change but your perception of it. When that is in sync with the script as it is, which it automatically is when the slate has been wiped clean, the director of the script, namely the brain, rewards you with shots of happiness for supporting it. Read more about that here.

Eventually, this makes you so relaxed that you have no more to ask for. Hence the belief in being and having more than that which is one has been undone while you had fun experiencing more than one.

All experiences, including those perceived to be spiritual, are bogus because it takes more than one to be conscious of something and there is no more than that which is one. The same, of course, applies to this or any other explanation in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. None of them are true.

Nor the explanation about imagining oneness being split in two. Since it is impossible, there is nothing to undo but the belief that separation is possible. That is why Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings gladly confirm, they are nothing, and, therefore, do not have something to enhance the belief in separation, so it is phased out the more you read them.

Somebody cannot bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, but nobody can

Fear and other emotions may seem to be a hindrance for the enlightenment of that which is one. It is not the emotions, though, that fend it off but that you believe they are yours. That which is you does not feel anything because it takes more than one to do so, and it is no different from that which is one. For the same reason, that which is you does not think, nor is it conscious of anything.

This does not mean, you should try to stop this. First of all, that which is you cannot stop anything as that calls for more than one. Secondly, while you appear to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not possible to stop being aware of feelings and thoughts since that is what makes you appear to be there.

It is, of course, possible to deny the awareness of thoughts and feelings by meditating, for example. But whether you establish yourself to be someone who has something or nothing, you are definable and thus in denial of that which is you, as oneness is formless.

Pretending to be someone, on the other hand, what you have is not yours because what you pretend to be you are not. Thus nobody is having thoughts and feelings or being conscious of anything. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. Consequently, nobody bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

This is not the only way to become nobody. As everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, there is no fear without trust, so if you are so full of fear that there is nothing else, it cannot be defined by trust. Hence you are full of nothing and, therefore, not somebody but nobody. See hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss.

You could also stick to being the basic self by perceiving any kind of experience, whether it appears to mundane or spiritual, as it is what it is. See hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one. Since that means emotions do not stick to you, they do not fend off the enlightenment of that which is one. Nor will they prevent you from having a marvellous time in a world where there seems to be more than one until the enlightenment of that which is one erases everything that requires more than one.

You do not need to refrain from sex or anything to else to make these or any other duality hack work. If you are willing to have the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, the duality hacks apply themselves, the more you read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

The willingness comes by itself when you admit, you are not willing to have this belief undone, as by acknowledging that you confirm what and where you appear to be is make-believe.

APPENDIX:
Since the application of the above duality hacks requires more than one, they are as illusionary as anything else in a world in a world of duality, including the writer and reader of this. The purpose of them, however, is not to make us seem like we are somebody but that we, just like anything else that calls for more than one, are nothing because non-duality is formless and therefore endless so there is no more than that which is one.

The bliss of emptiness is only one second away

What you believe in experiencing right now happened one second ago because it has taken the brain a second to produce your present experience. And then again, it did not happen because the brain created it from nothing, and not from info received from your sensory system. The latter the brain presents as a fact and you believe it because otherwise you are exposed as nothing. Read more about that in Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´.

The bliss of emptiness is, therefore, only one second away. Going back this second requires nothing but to perceive your present experience as dunno what it is (read more about this in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one). Doing that, the undefined moment ignites a take-off to the empty breath (see hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing), that reveals the nothingness from where the brain produces the experiences where you appear to be somebody in a world of something.

It is not a revelation where emptiness is exposed. But where something is exposed as nothing. Not in the sense that you stop seeing something but that you perceive it as nothing. In the absence of something, you do not appear to be somebody, but nobody walking on blissful clouds of frictionless love. Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment

There is no life in the world. It is to be compared to a dream, which, no matter how beautiful it may appear, is an illusion.

Although the formlessness of that which is one it is the power making it possible to simulate a world where there seems to be more than one, it is in the simulation – just like it is not possible for the street simulated in this image to be in the picture, or for a dreamer to be in the dream empowered by it.

When the formlessness of life is perceived as the sole cause of being able to experience something – whether so-called spiritual or mundane – you never play somebody else´s game. Even if it may seem so, others are not the reason for what you appear to do and say. Neither is the person you seem to be.

There is only one reason for your present experience of being someone participating in something, namely the formlessness of life. In other words,  it is not what you believe in being that thinks, feels, says or does something.

As life is formless and thus without beginning and end, everything definable is lifeless. Yet everything without life symbolises it, because there is no more than the formlessness of life.

This does not mean that it is the formlessness of life that thinks, feels, says or does something. But that it is the energy which makes it possible to experience as if someone is doing this, although there is no more than the formlessness of life since formlessness has no beginning or end.

Neither does it mean, that you have found the formlessness of life in a world defined by time and space, but that everything there is perceived to be a symbol of it. As both the experiencer and the experienced therefore are symbols of that which makes it possible to perceive a world where the formlessness of life seems to be divided into more than one, the apparent differences in such a world do not make a difference.

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

Appearing in a world defined by time and space as a symbol of the formlessness of life, you do not pump up the volume of music to hear or feel it, but to be reminded that it is the formlessness of life that makes it possible to have the experience of hearing and feeling something.

The echo of oneness does not reveal what that which is one is, but what it is not, namely the nothingness in which you believe to be someone definitive in a tangible world.

This is not to say that the formlessness of life can be heard and/or felt in a world defined by time and space. It is not possible to hear or feel formlessness. But it is possible to sense the echo of it coming from the edge of the universe. This unpronounceable vibration, which often is symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God, is heard or felt when you are more attentive to the world of the inner senses than that of the outer ones.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally meant to symbolise one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be someone in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

As none of the aspects of the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, the experience of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration coming from the edge of the universe is not the enlightenment of that which is one but a glimpse of it. Neither is seeing or tasting the enlightenment of that which is one, since it is an experience and therefore just as illusionary as any other experience (see All experiences are equally unreal).

But as these illusionary glimpses of enlightenment is not of the world experienced by the outer senses but by the inner senses, experiencing them from there while still being aware of the world of the outer senses, they have the capacity to undo the deception of the outer senses – not abruptly like the enlightenment of that which is one, but little by little. In the world of the outer senses you must always plan for the future in order to uphold the illusion of linear time.

The more the outer senses that perceive a world defined by time and space is turned inwards, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inner senses. This is why it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (you can read more about the illusion of time by clicking here) – where the echo of the primordial vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises is used to create a fantasy of a world constructed by time and space in such a way that it seems to be real until you hear or feel this echo.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of god or rather one perpetual present is symbolised by the word ´Aum´ or ´Sohang´ and in the New Testament by ´The Word of God´: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one perceives ´The Word´ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on experiencing the world of the outer senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is an echo of the formlessness of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. This includes the vibration that is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which is as close to you, as anything else you experience to be close in the world of the outer senses if you are not deceived by them into believing that you are constricted by the definitions of time and space. The world of the inner senses is not ruled by these definitions, so there you can go directly to the edge of the universe and hear or feel the formlessness of that which is one coming out of a black hole. It is also there that you see or taste it.

One way to turn the outer senses inwards in order to hear or feel the echo of oneness is to not be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or rather are willing to do so – the sum of everything in the world of the outer senses is sensed as a humming coming from the edge of the universe. It sounds or feels like nothing and everything at the same time.

In such a perfect moment, you appear to be both in the world of the outer and inner senses at the same time but without any sense of separation between them. A perfect moment though is not a moment where you are filled up with new energy or anything else since you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Being that, however, is very blissful.

The third eye
Appearing in the world as a symbol of life you do not close your eyes to go to sleep, but to see glimpses of the formlessness of life, which is done via the inner sense called the third eye, that is a single ´eye´ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this makes sense to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. Yet he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – have no energy to focus, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome by completely closing down the outer senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he in his early 20s returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to close the outer senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. Actually, anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say that from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can close the visual outer sense and open the inner eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. It is best to do this in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outer senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having an inner vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so that there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, because formlessness has no end.

As the sense of sight is always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search around in the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle down at a light show expose at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

If no contrasts are perceived at all the colours turn into a white light, that is so bright that it is not contrasted by something or illuminating anything. That is the enlightenment of that which is one.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inner senses, that is above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger across each eyeball from outer corner to inner, while having the forefinger on the third eye.

But this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures will open the third eye.

None of the inner senses can be reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. Deactivating the outer senses, however, can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems to be helpful in this regard by all means go for it. Yet the fastest way to deactivate the outer senses is to not know what and where you are.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When you momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nobody to prevent glimpses of enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the enlightenment of that which is one, which extracts all thoughts, that you have hold onto in order to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so that there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of that which is one.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at al. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that can be experienced as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland, that appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the enlightenment of that which i one, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, neither consciousness, because to experience or be consciousness about something requires more than one.

If you want to return from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you must pick up the thought construction, that was left at the edge of a black hole before you entered it, in order to be shaped as someone definitive.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is not another side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not enlightened. Yet, due to your vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, that you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But you will for sure grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and that anything appearing there – including the appearance of you as someone definitive – therefore is an illusion.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the inner world of the senses, that opens up when the outer senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense that the first sentence of this quote refers to ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´, and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

As Alexius has no intellectual knowledge of religious scripts most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to ethereal harmonies.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada,´ which means music Alexius does not know the meaning of the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not always as bombastic like described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close the outer sense of hearing. Going to sleep, in-ear headphones are more comfortable.

A practical way of closing the outer sense of hearing and open the inner one is to put both thumbs in your ears or simply use a noise-cancelling headphone or an in-ear headphone, and then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal harmonies coming to you from what may seem to be far away.

For tuning in it is best not go with the vibrations appearing to come from the left ear, as they often are the sounds of a busy mind, but instead follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space outside of your right ear. That being said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you do not hear ethereal harmonies but the humming symbolised by ´Aum´, ´Sohang´ or ´The Word of God´. If so, follow this glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one. It could also be that the only thing you ´hear´ is the noise of thoughts.

As the special self feeds from separation, it cannot survive inclusion, so if there is no attempt to edit the thoughts fabricated by the brain by excluding those that do not fit into the perception of being special and instead include them as they are, there is nothing to make the self appear special. It is, therefore, in the basic mode, where it automatically is in sync with the thoughts of the brain.

Consequently, they do not disturb you from hearing the empty space as eternal harmonies – or, if in touch with one of the other inner senses, experiencing it as light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy. That being said, just like even though nothing disturbs you from hearing the sound of the ocean, to notice it, you must want to listen to it.

Tasting the sweetness of life helps you to not focus on the world of the outer senses so that glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inner ones become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outer senses. Since this results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no differentiation between you and the world where you experience to be. The taste of life
Appearing in the world as a symbol of oneness you are not tasting the most exquisite food to get delicate experiences from that, but to be reminded about the taste of life, which in the world can be compared to the taste from foam of a milkshake with a few drops of honey added to it or to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»A land flowing with milk and honey« Exodus 3:8

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

To compare a taste to something else is a very individual thing, so you may not compare the inner taste to that of liquorice.

To describe a taste by comparing it to another taste is a very individual thing. In other words, you may not compare the taste of life to a taste of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in the old scriptures, you should not expect it to make you more young or inject you with more energy in the world of the outer senses. Anyway, you are better off never to look for more of anything, as that which is you is no different from that which is one, and since it is formlessness and therefore endless there is no more than that which is one. Hence looking for more is an illusion based on the belief that is more than that which is one.

One way of undoing this belief is to not focus, because without it a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be perceived, and so it does not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the taste of life is very beneficial when it comes to defocusing.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of life, provided you are already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted or most teas including liquorice.

As already mentioned, the taste of life can be compared to enjoying the transparent taste from the foam of a sweet milkshake. Sometimes, however, it is with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry or mint, so you none of the descriptions of it are definitive. In any case, it is best not to compare the taste of life or other glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and therefore cancels out the ever-present glimpses of enlightenment.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inner sense of taste does not only stop the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example more sweets. The taste of life is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste dripping from above. If you cannot get your tongue all the way, it is not a problem, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it.

The taste of life unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there, because it cutbacks the need to focus and also the longing for more. As a side effect it diminishes the craving for sweets as well. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques will work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe several months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way, which may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

You do not have to literally replicate the technique in above quote, where the taste of life is called Khechari Mudra. Neither do you actually need to be able to make the tongue go all the way behind the uvula. Pushing it as far as possible will do.

The way to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of its facets is not about perfection. Neither is it about how you breath, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outer senses. Yet things like that can be helpful in order to deactivate the outer senses.

But no technique in the world of the outer senses can deactivate them, if that is not the intention of executing the technique. In other words, first step is solely about intention, and if that is to deactivate the outer senses, there is nothing to hinder your trip into the world of the inner senses. Second step is to devote yourself to the amazing journey there.

The above about steps only applies to having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and not to bidding it welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

It is probably best to not be active in the world of the outer senses while having visions of light, as the visual glimpses of enlightenment can become so intense, that the world of the outer senses hardly is sensed.

When the belief in being in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone, there is nothing to hide that there never was and never will be more than that which is one.

The technique for tasting the sweetness of life, however, can be carried out while being active in the world of the outer senses. The same applies to enjoy the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears and also hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you are not able to navigate there. But it probably feels like you do not have to, and that you are carried around in a dream with no will of its own.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, where you no longer appear to be someone in a dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, neither do you appear to be in oneness since that requires more than one.

In other words, you are not someone at all, and there is no memory or consciousness of you ever having been that, because it was all make-believe and the belief is wiped out.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outer senses that you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry but in focus so that the experience becomes definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inner senses. Hence mixing the two worlds do not work out.

Focus versus defocus
The world of the outer senses needs you constantly concentrate and focus on it as if you are an autonomous creature in control of your own life. In the world of the inner senses, it is the other way around. It reveals itself when there is no effort to focus, concentrate and control.

But since it is also an act of control to continually trying not to focus in order to see, hear, feel or taste the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, so besides from getting a headache spreading out from the third eye from too much focus, the inner senses are fenced off.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inner and outer senses, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outer senses and space out in the world of the inner ones when nothing is required of you.

How to make this work between the inner and outer sense Alexius does not know, because through his connection with the empty breath, that functions as an automatic gear shifting between the inner and outer senses, it is automatically taking care of. The belief that there are more than one blocks out that which is one
In a world, where there seems to be more than one, the mixing of things may turn out to work well for you. But not in the world of oneness. As it requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of combining the different facets of the enlightenment of that which is one fence it off.

That being said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits in regard to defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of enlightenment.

Seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one, will make the outer senses turn inwards, so it is easier to grasp, there is no more than that which is one.

Ways to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one
Can the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, only be undone via the inner senses? No, it can also be undone through the world of the outer ones as described in the duality hacks called Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation, Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality rule out separation, Not being exclusive but inclusive is freedom from being someone definitive, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss or Alone together. See hack #1-4 + 8. There might be other hacks than those to have this belief undone. But since Alexius has not tried them, he cannot say if they work. Yet, hacks based on second-hand knowledge from Buddhism and whatnot are most likely fake – especially if those promoting them have beautiful visions about a hypothetical better future that is full of love, bliss and happiness because it is just another dream of duality.

The connection with the empty breath does not unite the outer and the inner senses, but it makes them synchronised, which among other things means that what you used to judge as stressful in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem to stress, when synched with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, because of the indifference coming from the empty breath.

The empty breath
 ´lifts´ you out of the belief in being someone definitive by automatically synchronise the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one become the basis for interpreting the world of the outer senses.

It is like being transported in a driverless car, that is programmed to take you to the aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one that attracts the most, so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from where the quotes in this article are taken. He found them all by searching the internet.

When everything is included there does not appear to be something outside of you, neither inside of you, as that requires there something to be outside of you. In other words, there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions, nor new age philosophy, as these ideologies, in general, appear to be about excluding what is judged to be bad in order to become what is judged to be better, purer or higher. Yoga techniques, for example, are often based on meditation or something else where what is not one is excluded. Theoretically speaking this should leave out everything but the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness cannot exclude anything, this is not what you get from being exclusive.

As it takes more than one to have a vision, no matter how impressive your inner visions of light seems to be, they are not the enlightenment of that which is one but glimpses of it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outer senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling it. But if those senses are turned inwards instead, the enlightenment of that which is one is revealed through seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it.

And then again it is not exactly like this, because the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced at all since it takes more than one to experience something.

Someone, who believes to be definable, cannot gracefully fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one. Yet someone who believes to be definable can learn how to have this belief undone.

Yet bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one is something that can be experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it. This is not the enlightenment of that which is one though but glimpses of it, which come through a hole that sometimes seems to be black and other times full of lucid. Having visual glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one can to be an experience of travelling through lucid worlds with ever-changing flashes of light. The moment those flashes of light are not perceived to differ from each other, there is no separation to define you as someone definitive anymore.

When you play a game, you may forget where you actually are. One of the ways to remember it is to undo the knowledge of what and where you appear to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As that means there is nobody experiencing anything, there is not someone to fight that the construction of thoughts which seem to have replaced the formlessness of that which is one with someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one is abruptly extracted by an exceptionally bright white light, that the glimpses have turned into without you being aware of it, as none of this is not happening in linear time but in one perpetual present.

In other words, everything you ever believed to be and have is gone without you knowing it or having any memory of having believed to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more, because there is no experience to hide that which always has been and always will be, since it is formless and therefore endless, namely that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced
Most people, however, work against the flow enlightenment, which is done by defining what there seems to be to see, hear, feel or taste as something that is similar to past experiences so that the enlightenment of that which is one is fragmented into more than one, wherefore the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is not undone.

And as the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be bid welcome without having this belief undone for just one moment, you only had glimpses of it, and therefore do not know what it is.

If you for a moment forget what and where you appear to be, there is not someone hiding the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is not of a world where there seems to be more than one, someone believing to be there cannot be enlightened. But if you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, there is not a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are not enlightened, because enlightenment is not something definitive. Yet, there are vague memories of the enlightenment of that which is one, so you are to be compared to it.

This, however, would have been the same result if the belief in being someone definitive momentarily had been undone, because then there is not someone to know the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, what you believe to be can never be enlightened. Yet it is possible to momentarily forget what and where you are so there is nothing for the enlightenment of that which is one to gracefully carry through a hole that is not there into the formlessness of that which is one.

Since what you believe to be, therefore, has not been enlightened, you appear to be the same if going back to the experience of being a world where there seems to be more than one. However, due to vague memories of that which is one, you do not believe this experience is real. Hence you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is comparable to a movie trailer, which is just a glimpse of a whole movie, and therefore not to be confused with the whole one.

To round off, as the enlightenment of that which is one has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – has a beginning and an end. If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you seem to see an ´E´ here, you are focusing on seeing something recognisable, so that you can hide the empty space by imagining there is something there. The empty space is not the formlessness of that which is one, but when you do not imagine a world defined by time and space to be there, no elements of matter are experienced to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Partial devotion to the inner senses results in glimpses of enlightenment
To experience that you are someone substantial in a world defined by time and space, constant focus on something specific is required for the outer senses to fabricate the depth needed to make the experience appear dimensional – otherwise, the outer senses cannot build this illusion.

So the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outer senses is complemented with the abstract world of the inner senses, where you are bid welcome by glimpses of light if you are visual-minded, ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and the taste or feeling of that which is one in case you are emotional minded.*

The purpose of the inner senses and their glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is to attract you to such an extent, that you cannot help yourself but to have them undo the belief that it is possible to be someone definitive, even though it means the end of what you believe to be – just like a moth cannot help but to follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is gonna be the end of it.

The idea of mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example, as this will imply they are separated. Just welcome whatever glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, that seems to come your way. Never try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it after a while changes into another aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one, go with that.

What you believe to be is a hallucination, that seems to cover the enlightenment of that which is one – also if you believe to be spiritual, because any belief requires more than one.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the enlightenment of that which is one, as it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean that the person you believe to be is replaced by the enlightenment of that which is one, but that whatever you believe to be is an illusion.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inner senses is just a side effect, that helps you not to care about physicality and its inevitable end.

The inner senses and the body
Devotion to the inner senses will heal your body if that is not the purpose of it. It may not include genetically caused diseases, though. But as devotion to the inner senses calms the body, a genetically created disease will not seem to generate fear, which otherwise may further damage the body if projected upon it (see hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough about the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection, where you are the perceived master of it).

When, however, the wellbeing of the body is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inner senses, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inner senses, since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inner senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one
Complete devotion to the inner senses, bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, that right away erases all memories of you being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. As you are not there anymore, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. But most of all because the enlightenment of that which is one is not a process but one perpetual present.

At first, however, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced the experiences of you as someone definitive is not dead so it can be rebooted and again produce these experiences. But since it takes more than one to be anything, they cannot contain the enlightenment of that which is one. So although you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, you look like you used to be.

But as soon as the enlightenment of that which is one does not seem to be a process, which in the concept of time maybe is less than a minute, the brain cannot be rebooted, and therefore not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world, wherefore there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this, since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

The appearance of you as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication constructed from thoughts, where some are chosen to be included, as if they are that which is you, and others are excluded, as if they are not you but somebody else. By not excluding specific thoughts but including them all, you become everything and you also lose the appearance of being someone specific, because there are no excluded thoughts to define you as someone definitive. In other words, inclusion excludes what is not real, so there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is you. Enlightenment of that which is one does the same, and so do the other ´ways´ suggested in my non teachings. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The appearance of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fabrication of thoughts. The ones you judge to be good are chosen to be included and the ones judged as bad ones to be excluded. The excluded ones produce what you consider others to be and what you are not, so if no thoughts are excluded, there is nobody to define you as separate from others. Inclusion, therefore, excludes what is not real, namely separation, so that there is not something to hide there is no more than that which is one. Bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one has the same result, and so does the implementation of the other ´ways´ of coming back to that which is one suggested in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

Is the enlightenment of that which is one required to have the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone?
The enlightenment of that which is one can be said to be the last step to the formlessness of oneness, but as formlessness is endless, you have never left it, so there is no step back to it, and therefore no need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one in any one of its aspects, or to have glimpses of it*.

Neither do you have to be connected with the empty breath or devote yourself to the inner senses to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. It can be undone while enjoying the world of the outer senses. In the below box there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses to not make a difference, the more the outer senses function as a set-off to that which is one (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is pure bliss).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

But you do not even need Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings to have this belief undone. All that is necessary is to not remember what and where you are since that means there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of that which is one.


There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that multitasking leaves them with no time to suppress anger and other feelings, that destroys the perfect image of themselves as somebody at peace, full of love and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping specific feelings hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of their contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus it is just as blissful loving somebody as to hate them. See also Love makes no difference at all.

Be aware though, that to be in the bliss of indifference, instead of the consciousness of being someone definitive, you must be willing to be nobody.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one before you give up seeing something specific, and there is an abrupt shift to the enlightenment of that which is one, that extracts all the info you have collected in order to appear as someone definitive and leave it at the edge of what appears to be a black hole so that there is nothing falling through it and gracefully floating into the formlessness of that which is one. You do not know how fast this is happening, because you are no more and have no conscious of ever having been anybody, because there is nothing but that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted – or that you know how to find it again – which is simply is to go with the flow of fear. And yes, there is also fear in that which is one. No worries. It cannot be experienced there. That is not possible since it would require more than one. It is, however, possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be part of a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Multitasking the inner and outer senses
Much devotion to the world of the inner senses may space you out in regard to the present moment in the world of the outer senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you just go with the flow of the inner senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But if you want to go on appearing as someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is, of course, best to totally focus on the world of the outer senses, so that the abstractness of the inner world does not interfere with your plans for having more money, power, love, life, energy and whatnot.

Should you, however, become tired of the race for more, you multitask between the inner and outer senses, so that being loaded with glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses make you indifferent to the constant demand for more in the world of the outer senses.

If you do not want the belief in being someone definitive to be abruptly undone by the enlightenment of that which is one, multitasking between the inner and outer senses could be your approach, as that allows you to have this belief undone in a pleasant pace while having a good time pretending to be what you are not.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why, it is beneficial in regard to having the belief in being someone definitive undone  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outer senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath.

When you are multitasking the world of the inner and outer senses with the help of the empty breath thoughts are not considered to be yours, so nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

The empty breath automatically syncs the outer and the inner senses, so that everything feels just fine, nothing is wrong or missing. This is not the purpose of the empty breath, though. Its purpose is to undo the belief in being someone definitive, but this is a lot easier not fighting to survive as someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outer senses
Those not connected with the empty breath are often tempted to skip the part of having the belief in being someone specific undone and instead use their own special blend of the outer and inner senses as the means to fabricate their particular version of paradise.

The purpose of this often is to establish themselves as a spiritual helper, but as there only is somebody to help, when you believe in separation, your so-called compassion and help enhances the suffering that this belief entails (see the article Coming from the heart is a denial of that which is one). Besides, there is no paradise without hell, since a world where there seems to be more than one can only be experienced through contrasts.

It is common to think, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Yet you do not appear as someone specific in a world where there seem to be more than one to find more, but to see there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

So instead of using the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to establish an image of yourself as a new messiah full of love and light, use them to expose the frustration coming from the belief in being someone definitive so that its unedited energy can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

The moment you have no need give or receive help or support, the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone.

As the inner senses operate on very high-frequency, speedy thoughts and feelings seem to be at rest there. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connection with the empty breath automatically syncs the outer and inner senses, and as the latter are operating at an extremely high frequency, the restless speculations in the low-frequency world of the outer senses do not seem to cause confusion but relaxation, and so the apparent differences of the world experienced with the outer senses slowly cease to make a difference. Thus the foundation for the belief in separation fades out, and so there is nobody to imagine that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you are do not feel the empty breath multitasking connects you with it.

A perfect moment turns into a state of not-knowing
Having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is a perfect moment in the sense that nothing feels wrong. As there is no sense of anything having a beginning or end, it may last longer than the concept of now, which is just a split second in between the past and the future. In other words, the concept of now is based on excluding the past and the future, whereas a perfect moment includes that and everything else.

When differences are not perceived to make a difference, the foundation for the belief in separation is gone. So everything outside of you is inside of you, where is nothing since without an outside there is no inside. In other words, if you do not return from this state of not-knowing to a world where there seems to be more than one, there is nothing to hide there is no more than that which is one. Hence it makes no difference if there are thoughts about the past, the future or anything else while having glimpses of enlightenment. Actually, the most distinctive feature of a perfect moment is that the apparent differences of the world are not perceived to make a difference. Not so much because there is no judgment, but because there is nobody to judge anything since you are in a state of not-knowing.

That is why, it is not before this state is over, that you know when differences are not perceived to make a difference, you are not experienced to be separated, and so there is nobody to judge something as right or wrong.

Since differences are not perceived to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, nobody cares if the bliss of it should differ from one state of not-knowing to another.

Having glimpses of enlightenment, you momentarily do not believe to be someone definitive. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing. This state of bliss** can be induced by all the duality hacks, except for the enlightenment of that which is one, since that is not a state. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This state of not-knowing is not only induced by glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one but by the application of any other duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one, as that is not a state since it takes more than one to be in a state.

Be happy if you cannot overcome the hopelessness that seems to blow you away when not in a state of not-knowing, because when you are blown away a state of not-knowing returns.

But as nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts, nor does a state of not-knowing. Primarily because after 20 minutes, 45 minutes at the most, where the brain has not been kept active by judging differences to make a difference, it falls into a coma.

So if you want to remain as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you must leave the bliss of a perfect moment. But you must also leave it if you do not want to return as someone definitive but bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one because there is no room for bliss or anything else in that which is one.

Being alone together is based on the realisation that the power behind every experience you seem to have is you, regardless it is interpreted as spiritual, mundane or whatnot. Just like every appearance in a dream is both empowered and interpreted by the dreamer. The animation is grabbed from Ello.

Alone together**
Since the apparent differences in what is normally perceived to be a world outside of you is not perceived to make a difference when in a state of not-knowing and as that applies to whatever seems to be inside of what normally is believed to be you, inside and outside is the same – or rather there is no inside and outside or any other contrasts to define you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

You are alone together having a fantasy about being someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one. But no matter what seems to be happening in that fantasy, you are not in it – just like within the context of this fantasy a dreamer is not in its dream although the dream is in the dreamer.**

This you cannot know before you have left a state of not-knowing, and memories start popping up of how blissful it is to not believe you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

There may also be memories of the transition, which can be quite claustrophobic, as there is nobody to project your troubles and sorrows on since there is nothing but the tight unit of you. But as soon as you start feeling the peace that comes from not feeling disturbed by anybody, this unit is not tight anymore. Actually, it is not there at all, because you do not believe to be someone definitive.

When the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one are not perceived to make a difference, you are not separated from what you experience to be a world outside of you. In other words, you are alone together with your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one – and since this is how you imagine having left the formlessness of oneness, you can reverse this and return to that which you never left, since formlessness is endless. As you probably read in the previous part, you got to leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon, if you want to remain as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither can you stay in this state, if you do not want to return to the fantasy of being someone definitive but to the formlessness of oneness, as being in any kind of state requires more than one.

Staying true to being alone together** this is not a dilemma, because from this follows you never have been in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like a dreamer within the context of such a world you are in your own bed, which in this context is a metaphor for that which is one. And since oneness is formless and therefore without beginning and end, you have never left it.

PART 1:
The outer senses is not a contrast to the inner senses in the way black is to white, for example. It is not that the outer senses are on the outside and the inner senses on the inside. Their names rather mean that the outer senses are geared to experience a world, that is perceived to be outside of you, whereas the inner senses help you to experience a world that does not seems to be separated from you.

The inner senses is used to see a world, that does not appear to be outside of you. But it does not mean it is inside of you. There is neither anything inside or outside, as that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one.

But scientifically speaking the world consists of empty space, so whatever tangible appearances you seem to experience is make-believe, regardless of where they appear to be. It is also make-believe, that there is someone who experience is experiencing this. See Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´.

To undo the belief in being someone in a tangible world, it can be beneficial to not only use the outer senses but also the inner ones, as what is experienced with them does not seem tangible so you may start questioning the existence of a tangible world and you like someone there.

Often those having visions via the inner senses conclude, that the world experienced with the outer ones is an illusion, and they are right – but they are not right when they go on concluding the world experienced with the inner senses is real.

It requires more than one to experience something, and as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one because what is formless is endless, no experience is real. Nevertheless turning down the volume of the outer senses, that in the context of the physical world operate below the eyebrows, and turning up the volume of on the inner ones, which means to partially shift awareness to above the outer senses, makes it easier to undo the belief in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

There is nothing real to find in the world of the outer senses – neither in the world of the inner ones, but there it is often easier to uncover the illusion of the senses, so that there is nothing to hide that which cannot be sensed, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

The more you do not try to define anything, which is easier in the world of the inner senses, as there are not so many established concepts about what it is, the less there is someone definitive experiencing anything. And when there is no belief in being someone definitive, the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

For some, it seems easier having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone in the abstract world of the inner senses. But the belief in separation can also be undone while experiencing the world of the outer senses,

PART 2:
Just like the outer senses can be used with the sole purpose of entertaining yourself and impressing others with how much you appear to be and have, the inner ones can be used for the same purpose. Actually, that is the most common purpose for those who like to label themselves as spiritual. They believe that having visions of an inner world makes them more spiritual and therefore different from others.

But as long as the apparent differences in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is perceived to make a difference, you are part of the very same belief in separation as those whom you think you differ from. That is, however, quickly solved in the world of the outer senses, because as we all share the same belief system of separation, we all in are the same boat. In other words, the apparent difference between us makes no difference, and so there is no foundation for the belief in separation.

As you can see, you do not need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one to practically see that to believe in separation makes no sense. But without having bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, it is probably difficult to take it to the next step, which is that without separation there is no foundation for the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

However, as such a world is a matter of belief – quantum physics states it only appears to be there when observed –you may as well believe someone, who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, telling you that it is a hallucination – especially as this includes your appearance as someone definitive, because that means all problems are solved, as all your problems arise from the belief that you are someone at all.

PART 3:
Let us imagine, that though you have never heard anything else than compressed music like for example MP3, you feel that something is missing. Yet you cannot know what it is, because you have never heard uncompressed music as it sounds on vinyl.

But also on vinyl, there seems to be something missing in comparison with live music – and that is nothing compared to the ethereal music you can hear in the world of the inner senses when the outer ones are partly turned off. The inner senses, however, you do not know, if you have always depended on the outer ones.

To depend only on the outer senses can be compared to playing a game like Monopoly but without the cards, so you do not know where to go. Neither do you know where to go in the world, when the inner senses are not used. Without them you cannot hear where you are – or rather, without them you cannot hear that which is you is not in a world where there seems to be more than one.

There are no degrees of the enlightenment of that which is one. It is neither smaller or bigger than anything else because there is no more than that which is one. In other words, to talk about levels of enlightenment is an illusion in regard to the enlightenment of that which is one.

You cannot become enlightened, but you can undo the belief in being someone specific, so there is not someone definable hiding that which is you is no different from that which is one. It cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something.

However, in a world, where there seems to be more than one, there appear to be degrees and levels of everything, so in such a world you can experience glimpses of enlightenment on many levels depending on how much the outer senses are turned off.

But no matter how high the level, no glimpse come close to the enlightenment of that which is one, because there are no levels in that which is one. Yet for each glimpse, you become less definable until there is not something to hide the formlessness that is one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one does not know what it is, because it requires more than one to know something. Only in a world where there seems to be more than one is there something to be known, namely that such a world does not exist, as there is no more than that which is one.

As it takes more than one to bid welcome the enlightened of that which is one, a person in a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be enlightened. Yet a person may momentarily forget what and where it is, so there is not somebody to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. Alexius is such a person and therefore to be compared to that which is the enlightenment of one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one is happy to know nothing, as that means there is no ´I´ taking part in the silliness of being someone special in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

Those considering themselves to be somebody always wants to become more, but the enlightenment of the that which is one neither makes you more or less. It merely erases all memories of being someone at all, as there is no room for anybody – neither somebody appearing to be spiritual – in the formlessness of that which is one. In other words, the enlightenment of the that which is one is not for you, if you want to be someone definitive.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be seen, so as long as you look for something, it appears to be hidden.

Only someone who has bid the enlightenment of that which is one welcome knows that a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a hallucination. Everybody, who believe they live in such a world, has the choice of continuing to believe so or believe the message of the enlightened, which is that there is no more than that which is one and that consequently, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. Yet very few choose to believe the message of someone who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

In a world where there seems to be more than one it is a basic instinct to separate oneself from reality by fabricating a make-believe world –a child, for example, rather believes that Christmas presents are coming from Santa Claus than from its parents, although it does not seem very realistic.

The choice can be compared to a child deciding whether to believe if Santa Claus is real or not. Most want the excitement that comes from believing the merry-go-round story of Santa so they will discard the fact, that the friction coming from the speed needed to bring out presents to all the good children in one night, would kill him the very same moment he sets off.

It is a downer for children to have Santa exposed as an illusion – just like it is a downer for most persons to hear that a world, where there seems to be more than one, is not real.

I have no answer to the question, who are you. An answer would be just as illusionary as the question, as such a question implies, that there is more than one – and there is no more than that which is one.

One who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one does not ask to be believed, but that you stop believing, a world where there seems to be more than one is real, because without hanging onto this belief there is not something to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

Gallery_Inner-Senses_1024x1024The only reason you demand being relaxed, free, excited and whatnot are that you believe to be someone special in the world of the outer senses. But if you do not give the outer senses your full attention, the inner senses will supply you with a perfect moment, where glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one will fill you with so much joy, that the need to be someone at all is gone.

The way to not give the outer senses your full attention is to not believe, the experiences they deliver are real. This is done by not giving a shit about upholding the image of you as someone significant in a world, where there seems to be more than one. The more you do not give a shit, the more the inner senses take over.

If somebody seems to cheat you, reject you or something else that you judge to be unfair, you choose not to believe this to be real, and so you set yourself and others free from the world of the outer senses. It is in your own best interest to set everybody free, even though you may think that not everybody deserves to this. But setting them free, the world of the outer senses fades out, so that you can connect with the empty breath, that opens the door to the world of the inner senses, where the enlightenment of that which is one is waiting for you to bid it welcome.

A way to undo the belief in the world of the outer senses is to perceive everything there as not real but symbols of that which is – just like you, for example, perceive the written word milk not as real but a symbol of that which is.

When perceiving the whole world of the outer senses as symbols, none of its apparent differences makes a difference, because they are all symbols of the same – and so there is no foundation for separation. This perception opens the inner senses from where you can experience glimpses of enlightenment or bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

But as someone in the world of the outer senses you cannot perceive everything there as symbols, because in order to appear as someone significant there, you have excluded the parts of it, that does not fit into your chosen the image of yourself. That is unless you include this separation or accept the guidance of the empty breath, which you do by not accepting the apparent reality in the world of the outer senses.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not something you find like you find other things in the world. Enlightenment is rather that you do not try to find anything so that there is not something to hide, you are not someone definable but one who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, no need not look for enlightenment, but for that which you are using to hide it. You could also just accept the guidance of the empty breath.

If from reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings you get the impression, that the inner senses are less deceptive than the outer ones, you have chosen to be deceived into believing that you can become someone better, higher or wiser via the inner senses. And if that is your purpose, they will cause you as much suffering as the outer ones.

But if your purpose is to not become anything at all, so that there is not something to hide the formlessness of that which is you, the inner senses will speed up the undoing of the belief in being someone at all.

Constantly trying to be somebody stresses you, because that turns you into a creature frozen into definable and dense appearances and that which is you is not definable, but extremely fast, formless and free flowing. In a world, where there seems to be more than one, you always need to be and have more so you can show off as someone more important than others.

If you want to be more famous than others you need lots of fans in order to prove your popularity. If you need to feel enlightened, you want others to express how wise you are, so that you can use their praise to deny your darker sides and show off as someone light and spiritual.

But you can never bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one if it is something you need because needing it implies you are without it – and how can you be without it when that which is you are no different from that which is one. Least of all can you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, if you want to use it to make you appear as someone important because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one.

You will have no more than one glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one if you use your interpretation of this glimpse to promote yourself as someone with a vision for a better future full of love or whatever you imagine will turn you into the new messiah, which has been the case with most gurus impacting the public in the last century.

When there is no need to use glimpses of enlightenment to save the world but rather to undo the belief in it, you are set free to be used by the glimpses, that will keep coming until you cannot tell them apart so that there is not something definable to experience and therefore not someone definitive to hide the formless enlightenment of that which is one.

Those who want to always be blissful in a merry-go-round world, may at first like to read about the bliss of a state of not-knowing (see the previous article The ins and outs of the inner senses). But when they realise, that bliss comes from not believing to be someone definitive, they avoid a state of not knowing by making sure to perform as if they are somebody definitive – for example by saying »I need time to open up.«

But only those who want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive needs time for something specific. Actually, they need to spend all their time with thoughts about something specific. If they do not keep the brain busy processing such thoughts for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls into a coma. In other words, unless you leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon, what you believed to be is forever gone, and so is the bliss. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding there never was and never will be anything but the formlessness of that which is one.

As this is the termination of what and where you believe to be, you only say you want it to enhance the image of being special. Hence you make sure that the groups you meet with about oneness, non-duality and enlightenment are based on established rules coming from long-time dead persons, that you can learn to use in a way that makes you appear to be right and therefore to be special.

Anyhow it does not make sense to meet in groups and talk about oneness as if that is something you want, as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. So wanting it is just as stupid as wanting your body in the world where you believe to be. You already have it.

What makes sense, though, while appearing to be someone in a specific body, is to want not to be that. And since you are not someone definitive, it is just the belief that this is what you are, which needs to be undone.

Any of The Duality Hacks except the enlightenment of that which is one will do that if it is your purpose of using them.

It is very easy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings because they write themselves. Alexius just have to hit the right keys. Before doing that, however, he may have had a hard time coming to the point of for example, being able to write about dying from the world as described in the below box:

When you perceive everything, that can be experienced, as symbols of that which is life, to focus on something becomes a symbol of life. Consequently to focus on what is not real in order to make it appear as if it is, leads to defocusing, because when everything is perceived as a symbol of the same, their apparent differences do not make a difference.

Without focus the world cannot be experienced, neither you as a person in it, and so there is nothing to see. No forms appears to hide the formlessness of that which is life.

The above box summarises a very long night a long time ago, where Alexius was on the edge of dying, and where for several days after the feeling of the body was replaced by an electrified humming often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. To make long short, as someone definable, you must always be willing to die, so that there is not something definable appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

This is not meant to be understood as the body must be terminated, because that would imply it is real. It is the belief that you are someone definable, that must be undone.

Only someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one can write Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Not because such a person knows what to write but what not to write, so no personality interferes with the non-teachings being written by themselves.

The nature of ´the empty breath´ (in the process of being updated)

It may not always be your experience, that the empty breath is your best friend because it is of no help in regard to what and where you like to be. Instead, it helps you to see everything through its eyes of indifference, so you feel good no matter what and where you experience to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
The empty breath
is a life jacket you got from that which is one when you left it to be and have more than that. This, of course, is a metaphor because you cannot leave oneness since it is formless and therefore endless. Yet it seems possible to imagine being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same, because you receive what you give and you give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

This life jacket, the empty breath, loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even see that. It is a fantasy that only can be seen by those believing to be somebody definitive. And it has no way of believing something because it is nothing. Consequently, this is what it sees.

To see nothing is to love everything and thus feel loved by nothing. That is why the empty breath does not crave love from anybody. You, however, need to love it if you want to feel, you are unconditionally loved as someone definitive.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you probably forget to check the lottery, for example. And when you do, you smile regardless you won or not, because in the flow of the empty breath, you arw indifferent to to becoming and getting more.

The empty breath does not know how to heal hay fever or anything else caused by the belief in being someone definitive. But it knows how to undo this belief. And since you get more laid-back in the process of that, new ways of healing of your hay fever may pop up. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The guidance of the empty breath is not about how to get better health, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing that what you appear to be and have is nothing.

Thus being connected with the empty breath, every experience of something is perceived as nothing. This does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, and so is what you do about it, you have nothing to worry about.

To be loved is a need that comes from the perception that diffrences make a diffrence. But since the empty breath is indiffrent to diffrences, being loved or not does not make a difference when connected with it.

Nor does it mean that you do not experience positive to be different from negative, for example, but that the experienced difference does not make a difference. Thus it makes no difference, whether you think positive or negative, feel cherished or rejected, make the world better or not, live in the now or whatnot.

Those advocating ´living in the now´ try to replicate the traits of the empty breathNot by being indifferent to separation, though, but by enhancing it through the exclusion of the past and the future.

This detachment, however, which is a natural trait of the empty breath, cannot be replicated by being an observer or anything else as that implies you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one because detachment is indifferent to this or any other belief.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would just be a replacement of one illusion with another. Its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief, that there is more than that which is one, so you do not believe that experience of more than one is real.

It is also indifferent to becoming or getting something. That is why connecting with the empty breath or applying any other duality hack does not make you more special. Changing or transforming somebody or something in a world where there seems to be more than one is just to replace one illusion with another. Just like no matter how something is changed on a computer screen, everything is the same, because there is nothing on the screen.

What you see on the screen is on a hard disk where there is nothing but zeros and ones. It is not before they are processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen, that the nothingness of the hard disk seems to be a tangible world in which changes can be made.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know, that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which in this context is the world, so you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of emptiness.

Being connected with the empty breath you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a video game because you know they are make-believe.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be and see, so that there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, so what you judged as something bad is seen as nothing. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

Connecting with the empty breath has nothing to do with what you eat or think. Nor has it anything to do with meditation except in the sense of being a medium for nothing, which you are when there is a willingness to not look for something. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 2:
Taking deep breaths or in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial in regard to connecting with the empty breath, because doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

The same applies to be centred, balanced, focused or something else. It is the willingness to not be anything at all, that ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This willingness, however, does not come from forcing the body into special yoga postures, neither by controlling the mind, but by thrusting its uncontrolled flow of energy to ignite a take-off to the empty breath regardless, you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´.

Actually, speedy thoughts and feelings shoot off again and again, and several at a time, to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, but you stop them from becoming boundless by defining them, so you can remain in the illusion of being someone definitive.

The more you limit yourself to be something specific, the more it feels like you are about to collapse. To prevent that, you go on specifying yourself until you feel so constrained that you burst of anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together, so the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off to the empty breath. It does not, however, help you to escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

INTERLUDE:
Being indifferent does not mean, that you do not feel the apparent difference between, for example, love and hate, but because there is no need to be acknowledged as someone definitive when connected with the empty breath, you do not consider one of them to be better than the other. In other words, it makes no difference to you which feeling you explore.

The same applies when pretending to be someone definitive because what you pretend to be you are not so it does not matter if you appear to be lived or hated. This also applies when perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, the apparent differences of the world makes no difference.

As it takes more than one to be connected with something, it is only as long as you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, that connectedness with the empty breath seems relevant. PART 3::
As it requires more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, every experience is unreal. Read more about this in the articles All experiences are equally unreal and Nothing that can be seen exist.

Consequently, the experience of the empty breath, though it may seem as if you finally have found something authentic, is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic having this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything, but in the sense that you are indifferent to it.

A state of not-knowing, which is the result of the empty breath, is also the outcome of the other duality hacks . If it always is the same state of not-knowing cannot be known, because nobody is conscious about it.

If you feel confused by this article, do not try to get a grip on it (read more about that in the hack No understanding = Enlightenment in Extra Duality Hacks). Instead go with the flow of chaos, until you cannot make ends meet into being someone definitive and feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also is what happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Since it results in a state of not-knowing, you are not bound up with the belief that you are someone definitive until you leave this state and return to the consciousness of being someone.

Since that which is one cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best it is imagined to be a state of consciousness in which the self is transcended into a higher one. Oneness, however, has nothing to do with being in a state, or being conscious of something, because that requires more than one. So does being someone. APPENDIX:
If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its untamed energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath. In its presence, you can make up stories of love, for example, without feeling deceitful for manipulating thoughts and feelings to make them because the empty breath sees the world where you believe to be as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seems to disclose something on it, the screen remains empty.

In other words, when you are with the empty breath, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain as if you are someone definitive in a world of something. You do not need the happiness that comes from being in sync with them. You are in the bliss of nothing.

But as noted elsewhere, the belief in being someone definitive falls apart if it is not constantly confirmed by the experiences, that the brain produces of a world that appears to be outside of you. And since what you believe to be is the sum of your memories and they are stored in the brain, you are the brain. Thus it falls into a coma if you stay with the empty breath for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time. In other words, the brain falls apart if there is not a constant interchange between the self it has created and the experiences it produces as if there is something outside of it.

No worries, having been with the empty breath for just a split second, the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to interacting with a world that appears to be outside of you with the perception, it is what it is. and thus feeling happy regardless of how you experience to be treated by the world outside of you. That is until you wonder why everybody seems to know so much more than you, and you start to play their game of being special by changing your perception from it is what it is to I know what it is. This, however, upsets you a lot because hardly anything goes your way. Fortunately, if not handling the frustration of being wrong, the untamed energy of it ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

In this way, you can go back and forth between the happiness of something (read more about that here) and the bliss of nothing (read more about that here), until you forget to disconnect from the empty breath, and there is neither bliss or anything else that can be experienced because the enlightenment of that which is one erases everything that requires more than one. Every thought and feeling is a reminder, that the appearance of something cannot cause suffering, if the thoughts and feelings about it is not shared or justified with the world*, but used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, because in its indifference, thoughts and feelings are not specific, so they cannot define you as someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to suffer.

As this is a state of not-knowing, it is not before you leave it and return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, that you sense there is no suffering when being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

This is not to say, one should not take care of the body where one appears to reside. Even though the empty breath reveals, that it is a deception, it is through the illusion of being there, that you connect with the empty breath.

The connection cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you again want to experience yourself as someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma, if not being in a feedback loop with you as if you are separated from each other.

But if you do not want to appear as if you are a separated being, you do not mind the brain falling apart, so it no longer can map out empty space, as if you are someone in a world there. Hence there is not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

To make long short, regardless you want to remain as someone definitive or not, the state of not-knowing induced by the empty breath is bound to end so that the consciousness of being someone definitive can be resumed or totally erased.

No need to worry about having your consciousness totally erased by accidentally staying too long in a state of not-knowing. First of all, hardly anybody comes to the point where the brain starts falling apart, and should you reach that point but long to be someone, fear of survival will set in. That is enough to reboot the brain and bring you back to the experience of being someone definitive.

Even within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is, of course, an illusion that your experience of it is based on the info the brain claims to receives from the sensory system. This is just something it makes up to hide that the whole story of such a world is a fabrication done by itself.

It does not need your eyes to be open to producing vivid images of the world for you to ´see´. Nor does it require you to be awake or sexually stimulated by something in the world outside of you to produce an orgasm. It can make it happen it your dreams.

The brain only claims that your experiences are processed from the info coming through your sensory organs so that it can be true to its own story of you being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. This also applies to the experiences you perceive as spiritual. See All experiences are equally unreal.

As this makes it looks like the person it has generated from out of nothing has conscious experiences, based on info coming from the person´s sensory system, in which it appears to be a substantial being in a tangible world, it believes to be real.

The justification of a feeling* makes it seems to not come from you but somebody else. But it is still in you, just not in your awareness but in the darkness of the body. To set it free, so the suppressed energy of it can ignite a take-off to the empty breath, you do not need to know what it is you have concealed or why.

You just have to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feeling revealed as nothing twisted into something special, so that you, although you also are nothing, can appear as if you are something important.

No worries, if you acknowledge the disappointment as yours instead of projecting it onto the world, it can be used to ignite another take-off to the empty breath. It wipes the slate clean, so there are no past memories to disturb you from perceiving everything as it is what it is. And though that does not entail the bliss of nothing, it brings about the happiness of something because it is what it is (read more about that here).

Totally feeling sad and being nothing but that, there is no happiness to contrast it. Thus you can neither be defined as sad or happy. You are nobody experiencing nothing specific. This emptiness, which is a sense of bliss so intense, that nothing seems to be wrong or missing, is in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings called a state of not-knowing. If you in the past have blocked out feelings of humiliation, rejection and inferiority, for example, by hiding them in the body, these feelings are intensely felt, when connecting with the empty breath, because the flow of it reveals everything hidden. Read more about suppressed feelings in hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough.

But if you do not try to exclude the sadness from the past, and instead include it by totally being it, there is nothing left to define you as sad. And, therefore, no sadness to define happiness. In other words, the complete inclusion of one side of a contrast cancels out both sides of the contrast. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing, which is like walking on air of bliss.

The full inclusion of a feeling is not to be confused with embracing it, going into it, for example. Those ideas come from the belief that you are someone definitive who experiences something specific, which can change or transform you into something better. Hence the belief in being someone definitive is enhanced and so are the contrasts making up duality.

Totally being a feeling is not something definitive because it cancels out the contrast to the feeling you are being, wherefore you cannot be defined as someone definitive, so if you do not want to be nobody but somebody, you start asking what being a feeling means or inventing explanations yourself instead of being it.

Being it, by the way, does not mean you go deep into the feeling – just like you do not need to go deep into a well to get water. What you on the surface is the same. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

Not trying to experience anything specific but including everything exactly as it is, bring about a state of not-knowing because without excluding something, there is nothing to define you as someone.

Thus you are in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are. This is also where you are when connecting with the empty breath, having glimpses of enlightenment, or applying any other duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one.

If these states of bliss are identical is not to know, because they are all states of not-knowing, which is a mix of empty space and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, the brain has fabricated from that.

There is nobody in the bliss of not believing to be someone

In a state of not-knowing, there is not enough consciousness to be aware of yourself as someone definitive separated from what you experience to a world outside of you. But there is not enough consciousness in this mix to perceive the apparent differences in the world to make a difference, so you do not perceive yourself, nor the world, to be something. Thus you are in the bliss of nothing.

This lasts as long as you do not try to regain full consciousness (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), but not more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to the experience of someone living in a capsule of time and space.

The enlightenment of that which is one, though, is not a state of not-knowing, because it totally erases the memory of ever having appeared to be someone definitive (see hack #6-7.2 Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it).

But we are so conditioned to believe, we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space, that the fear of annihilation takes over and we compulsively imagine to see something definable in the light so that we again appear to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

Since there is no more than that which is one, it only takes one to undo the belief it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, and since there still appear to be more than one, Buddha, Jesus or anybody else who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one followed a conditioned reflex to see more than one light, so a world where there seems to be more than one appeared to continue.

»Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It is your masterpiece, after all.« This quote seen on the web shows a widespread misunderstanding, namely that life is yours. In reality, it is the other way around, so the more you try to edit life in order to appear unique, the more suffering your uniqueness seems to cause you.

When something is over, it is only the story about it that stops. Life has no beginning and end because it is formless. So if you mourn the end of someone, it is not life but your story about it that makes you cry. This is how your story is made real and life unreal. That is if you forget, it is life, which makes it possible to make the story. Not forgetting that you love any story and its end.

The love of life, by the way, is not warm, or cold, or something else. Nor is it nothing, because it takes more than one to be anything and it is that which is one. That is why it lasts.

You may believe in free will, but it is nothing than a belief. Appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is the brain that takes every decision you believe in making yourself, except when connected with the empty breath. But as it does not know of the world where you believe to be, it does not change anything but the belief that you are there.

And not believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it does not seem to hide, there is no free will since it takes more than one to make a choice and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

Nothing can restrict the empty breath, because it has no need to be something definitive. Yet believing to be someone definitive is a restriction, that will cause the experienced of it to be confined. In other words, the empty breath is not something definitive, so it has nothing to be free from. It is what it is, in spite of you experiencing the expansion and contraction in the body to flow smoothly or not – or remembering the empty breath at all.

It is you, who do not feel free, because you are dependent on continually being acknowledged as someone definitive by somebody perceived to be outside of you in a physically, astral or online world. The feeling of imprisonment that this entails, you want to break out off, and as you assume the empty breath just like you is something definitive, you expect it has the same desire for freedom as you.

Fortunately, there is not something to solve and no feeling of imprisonment to heal, because going with the flow of the empty breath – no matter in what way it is experienced to be – you go with its indifference, and so the apparent difference of feeling free or imprisoned is not perceived to make a difference.

When Alexius many years ago was hired to teach graphic design in an advertising school in Denmark, he had a problem. Even though he had been designing magazines, websites, flyers and ads for companies big and small, he did not know how to do it. Everything he had designed, he did as a medium for the projects so the form of them would highlight their content.

To provide the students with guidelines of how to design, he, therefore, had to deduct from his intuitive way of designing. He wrote, by the way, two books with basic rules of how to do it, and a book on colour theory.

If not in the bliss of not believing to be someone, you are speculative

How to explain the empty breath?
In regards to passing on guidelines of how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of emptiness and thus indifference to the belief in being someone definitive, he is in the same situation as when he started teaching design. He had no professional training to refer to. Likewise, he has no second-hand knowledge, he can use as a reference to explaining how to connect with the empty breath.

Neither does he know how to explain, that what and where we experience to be is an artificial construct, designed by the brain to control and manipulate us into believing, that this experience is real and not fabricated by the brain from out of nothing.

But since he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he does not believe to in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor does he believe to be someone in that which is one. On the contrary, he is nothing because it takes more than one to be someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. In other words, what and where we appear to be is a fantasy made from out of nothing, and experienced by nothing.

In this fantasy, however, he knows how to step away from it and be in the state of not-knowing* that the empty breath, like the other duality hacks, entails. Once, in that state, he watched a movie (You Disappear), which quoted the latest scientific explorations about the brain, that might be helpful in realising everything appearing to be something is nothing.

Consciousness is a construction of thoughts comparable to the ones and zeros in a stream of binary code.

The fabrication of something from out of nothing
The short version of these discoveries is that the brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct an image of a self, that is aware of being someone definitive through the experiences, another small part of the brain continuously fabricate of a tangible world as if it is outside of the self and as if it is the self that experiences this, and, therefore, believe to be someone substantial in a tangible world. Especially because this world seems to cause its thoughts and feelings.

These experiences of an external world the brain claim to process from the frequencies it receives via the sensory system, but this explanation, just like the experiences it fabricates, is a smokescreen to cover up, that it is all made up from nothing. A flower, therefore, is just as unreal as a plastic simulation of it.

Being in the bliss of not believing to be someone is to be empty

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The experiences interpreted as the most meaningful ones, namely those that seem to define you the most, are stored in the rest of the brain, and as the sum of these memories constitute what you believe to be, you are not just a fabrication of the brain, you and the brain are the same. Every bit of it – not only ten per cent – works to make it appear as if you are someone in a world of something and not just a fantasy made from out of nothing.

Whether an experience seems to be direct or coming from the heart, being physical or spiritual, it has taken the brain a second to generate it. Hence what you believe to be experiencing now happened one second ago. And then again, it never happened, because one second ago there was nothing, and it only seems as if you experience something now because you need to believe this to feel you exist.

The rest of the article is not based on the scientific discoveries revealed in the movie (You Disappear), nor on anything else formulated somewhere else, as to the knowledge of Alexius, nobody has published anything about the empty breath. In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Thus there are no diversity to attest to you being someone in a world of duality. Consequently, you are in the bliss of nothing.*

The bliss of nothing
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing and therefore is make-believe, they go on exploring something as it is real. Here, however, we explore how to see that there is not something at all and therefore not someone seeing it.

The experiences the brain fabricates of a tangible world only seems real if the self that the brain also has created perceives them as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing, likewise the self. To perceive the present experience as nothing, you go back in the empty void from where the brain has twisted it into your current experience of something.

Since that is where the empty breath resides, and it took the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing and thus the bliss of nothing.* Doing that does not require you to meditate or something else in particular. All that is needed is the willingness to forget what and where you appear to be. Read more about that in the below paragraph The only requirement is a willingness.

If the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seems to confirm there is more than involved, for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing* very long at a time, if you want to be able to return to a world of something as if you are someone there.  See also the hack 20 minutes, 45 at most in Extra Duality Hacks.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

Since you cannot appear to be somewhere, nor in a state of not-knowing,* without the experience of being someone, there is still someone to experience the world of something made up by the brain when in a state of not-knowing*. But the experience of you as someone is so vague that there is not enough consciousness to perceive the apparently different experiences of something to make a difference. Consequently, there is no perception of separation to hide, that although the fantasy of something is a colourful experience, it is pale in comparison with the bliss of nothing.*

Although you probably forget the empty breath, it remains connected with you, because it does not know, that you believe to be someone who is separated from everything in the low-frequency world experienced by the outer senses.

Yet it senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, which is indifferent to the restlessness that speedy thoughts and feelings seem to produce in the world of the outer senses.

The inner and outer senses
When we are not connected with the empty breath, and therefore not in the blissful state of not-knowing* but in the happiness of the basic self or the nervousness of the special self, the empty breath is still with us, provided we, just once, have connected with it, because it does not know of separation. Read about the basic and special self in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

Thus the empty breath always functions as an automatic gear change between the outer and inner senses to make the abstractness in the world of the inner senses the base from where the world of the outer senses is perceived, so it does not appear to consist of something but nothing when in a state of not-knowing and not in that state the experiences of something are perceived as it is what it is. Consequently, none of the experiences is something special, including you as someone, so you are not happy or sad but happy-sad.

As any experience is an illusion, it includes the experience of the empty breath. But as this illusion unveils the bliss of nothing,* which, contrary to the experince of something, is not experinced to end, you eventually stop asking for more. Hence the belief, that it is possible to be an have more than that which is one is undone.

These experiences, of course, only makes sense as long as you believe you are someone definitive in the world of the outer senses, but believing, regardless it seems to result in mundane or spiritual experiences, is like believing in Santa Claus.

Fortunately, the connectedness with the empty breath exposes this, so the bliss of not believing to be anything is the last thing, you experience before the belief in being someone is undone and therefore does not seem to cover, there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Going with the flow of the empty breath you become indifferent to what you get, so if you want something specific, you must disconnect from it and accept the stress, that comes from not being in the flow of nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The synchronisation of the inner and outer senses
To take the edge out of the stress we feel in the world of the outer senses, the empty breath synchs it with the world of the inner ones. Not because this world is more peaceful, but because it is a high-frequency world. Thus the speedy and restless energy that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outer senses does not seem stressful.

It is not thoughts as such, that prevents us from going with the flow of nothing, but the desire to use them to accomplishing something specific.

That being said, you might not want his synchronisation, because although it results in indifference to stress, it may not help you to get what you stressed to achieve. This is why most want to avoid the flow of the empty breath and endure the hassle that it is to obtain what they desire.

Like a pencil cannot make its scribblings go away but an eraser can, you cannot make your scribblings as someone definitive go away but the empty breath can.

However, if they get it, they do not feel satisfied but disappointed because the need for more is still there. This, they try to tone down through meditation, yoga or other techniques that seem to hide that all they care about is to become and have more at the expense of anybody (see No manifestation is real).

The more the connectedness with the empty breath cancels out the contrasts of duality – for example happiness and sadness – the more you are indifferent to what and where you appear to be in a world of duality.

Time is nothing in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Without the basic contrast of expansion and contraction, there is no experience of life. Yet what we experience as life is actually death, because life is formless and thus without a beginning and end, so anything that does not last is lifeless. It is, however, life that makes it possible to have fantasies about being a limited being in a lifeless world – just like within the context of such a world, it is only due to that, you can to imagine being someone you are not in the virtual world of a video game. You do not connect with the empty breath in your own pace
While Alexius was writing about the empty breath, he deducted ways of how to ignite it from his intuitive way of doing it. For example, by using the unedited energy of the stress arising from the belief in being someone definitive to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. Read more about that in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

There is nothing to know, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. So although there seem to be lots to know, when appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is only one thing to know in regards to the formlessness of oneness, namely that there is nothing to know.

That is why Alexius´ Enlightened NonTeachings is not about learning something new but to unlearn everything. This you can do by reading all of them – or flip through them – until they automatically apply one or more of the duality hacks and brings you in a state of not-knowing, in which there is nobody to perceive the person fabricated by the brain as real. Hence there is nothing but the bliss of being indifferent to any kind of belief.

That being said, when it comes to the practical aspects of appearing to be someone definitive, you should not avoid learning and knowing something, or being and having more. It is self-evident, however, when connected with the empty breath. Its indifference to differences makes it impossible to choose anything yourself. Thus you just go with the flow of doing something exciting. In other words, you are are having the belief in being someone undone, while enjoing it to its fullest.

If this is what you want, it is not important whether you read hack #4, Being in a state of not-knowing from beginning to end or just browse it. What is essential is to not focus on anything in particular, nor to spend time on processing or integrating it, as that enhances the belief in being someone. Instead, unlearn everything, so you contain nothing and as an empty vessel can serve the empty breath. See also the hack No Focus = No World Defined By Time And Space in Extra Duality Hacks.

Only those believing to be special have the need to do things in their own pace.

The bliss of not believing to be someone does not come from something but nothing

Looking for something you can relate to as your true self in the teachings of a guru, for example, you do not look for that which is real, because it is no different from that which is one and it takes more than one to look for something. So do not read about the empty breath with the expectation of finding something to make you or the world better, but to become indifferent to what and where you appear to be. In other words, the less you seem to know something, the less something appears to hide, what you believe to be is nothing. Hence there is not something to separate you from the empty breath.

It is not necessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to have it undone.

The only requirement is a willingness to not be someone definitive
Leaving your comfort zone of knowing what and where you are is not done by fighting or transforming your learned behaviour, but by being willing to undo the belief, that makes it possible to appear as if you are conditioned by something, namely the belief in being someone definitive.

This willingness most often comes from admitting, that the appearance of you as someone definitive is not a matter of fact but make-believe. That you accept when you acknowledge, you are not willing to undo the belief in being someone definitive, because the acknowledgement confirms what you appear to be is make-believe.

Since nothing matters when connected with the empty breath, you are free to have fun.

Having the belief in being someone definitive undone, does not mean that that the appearance of you as someone seems to be gone, reborn or awaken. Just like within the context of this belief, the appearance of Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. It is the belief that he is real that stops. There is one difference, though, between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone, or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed because now you are free to enjoy being someone definitive in a fantasy about Santa Claus, having a family and whatnot.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced, for example, because being anything is part of the experience in being someone and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

Just like everything else sensed, it is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribe it with a specific shape and colour. But as the brain cannot conceive nothingness without falling into coma, the empty breath remains invisible and colourless.

How does it feel
The connection with the empty breath can be experienced as described by Alexius in the articles What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, and To be nobody and yet somebody. But do not count on it. His experience of it is not static. And even if it were, you and Alexius may experience it in each your own way – just like when drinking the same cup of tea, for example. Besides the main attribute of the empty breath is indifference, which is hardly an experience.

On top of that, it may not even be the empty breath, that is revealed through the willingness to not uphold the belief in being someone definitive. Maybe it is the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it (see the article A reintroduction to the inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it), or the freedom that comes from pretending to be what you are not (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Everything is new in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Even though some plants are edible, not all of them are. Often the most beautiful of them often that should not be eaten if you want to remain as someone living in a capsule of time and space. And if you do not want to end when your appearance there is over, you better avoid beautiful ideas like living in the nowcoming from the heart and being transformed, because they are based on the belief in being someone definitive, and everything definitive, contrary to the formlessness of oneness, has an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What you believe in being does not exist
Should you wonder, who chooses to believe, that the image fabricated by the brain of someone definitive is you, or who has programmed the brain to produce this image, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because the experience of being somebody, whether in a so-called spiritual or physical sense, is, within this experience, comparable to being in a dream. There is nobody in it.

Thus the empty breath and the other duality hacks are just as dreamlike as anything else in the experience of being someone definitive, no matter what and where that seems to be. See also Whatever that you are aware of is an illusion because it requires more than one to be conscious of something.

Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

There are lots of ways to appear as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Just like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not its a dream, and therefore not returning to its bed when the dream is over. But contrary to the illusions of the many belief systems in the world, the duality hacks do not attempt to transform or make the world better but to expose that everything experienced is made from out of nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath, for example, you become indifferent to the differences in the experiences produced by the brain. Hence you do not believe you that you are someone definitive separated from others but that it is something you pretend to be.

And as what you pretend to be, you are not, that which is you does not end, when the brain is not able to produce the experience of you as someone anymore. Until then it is much fun pretending to be what and where you are not.

Pretending to be someone definitive undoes the belief in being it, because what you pretend to be you are not. Read about this in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

APPENDIX:
Since Alexius is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he perceives every experience to be composed of nothing. Thus the distinction he makes between a state of not knowing and the experience of being someone definitive can be shaped by that. In other words, there might be a slight mix up in the description of the bliss of nothing* and its after-effect, which comes from having had the slate wiped clean, so you return from a state of not-knowing in the default mode of the basic self, and, therefore, automatically is synced with the brain and thus in the happiness of something (read more about that here).

Most of the explanations, however, of how to connect with the empty breath are not geared towards the basic but the special self, as that is the most common way of being in the world of the outer senses. Fortunately, the stress that comes from keeping together the image of being special can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, provided you do not try to deal with the stress yourself.

The basic self, on the other hand, does not need the unedited energy of stress to connect with the empty breath. It easily becomes so laid-back, that it does not perceive feeling fulfilled as better than depressed, neither being right to be better than wrong. These or any other feelings are not perceived as something specific. Hence there is nothing to hide the bliss of emptiness.

This does not mean that feelings of anger or love, for example, does not pop up but that no feeling is perceived to make a difference. Thus they all reveal the bliss of nothing* when the basic self is so laid-back that its basic perception is ´dunno.´

The bliss of nothing (in the process of being updated)

When you hike, you need to take a break from it. And so do you from the conscious experience of being someone by being in a state of not-knowing. Just like you start afresh after a break from hiking, you start renewed – or rather re-established  – after a state of not-knowing, because it wipes the slate clean. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1: THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your wellbeing as someone definitive, as well as the undoing of the belief in being that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of us as somebody.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time, if you want to continue the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the conscious experience of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, which the empty breath entails and in which the slate is wiped clean and you, therefore, return to the conscious experience of being someone as the basic self. Read more about the basic self in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath so that when it expands the body, you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and in a state of not-knowing when it contracts the body. Returning to that which is one is not a matter of going anywhere. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so it is not possible to leave it. Nevertheless, it seems possible to believe that it is. It is not a matter of letting go or surrender since doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does try to figure out, if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it really makes no difference, which way you experience it to go.

What you believe in being is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are errased.

Since you, therefore, do not perceive yourself to be special when returning to the conscious experience of being someone, there is no need for something specific to define you, so it is easy returning to a state of not-knowing. When in the flow of going back and forth between knowing and not-knowing, the belief in being someone undone is one day undone. You do not wonder about when because you are enjoying being in the flow.

Besides, time is an illusion, and every experience is bound to end, as in a state of not-knowing the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, so one by one they are cancelled out.

When every so often connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, so they cannot be used to make a perception of you as someone making a difference.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out the differences and insist on some of them makes a difference, for example if you are in a friendship or a romantic relationship. Fortunately, the frustration that seems to arise from claiming to know what is right can be used to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences, because it cancels out differences and without them, there is nothing definable to experience. And thus not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one as it is formless and therefore endless.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

This does not mean oneness is revealed. It is not possible because that requires more than one. But what appears to hide it can be exposed as nothing. That is what Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is about, namely to reveal that what you perceive to experience as something is nothing, included what you believe to be. Since realising this requires more than one, it is only is possible in a world where there seems to be more than one, and since it is a world of linear time, this is a process in time.

The willingness to realise this is often initiated by admitting, you are not willing to recognise that what you believe to be is nothing because by acknowledging this, you agree that what you appear to be is make-believe and therefore not that which is you.

PART 2: THE AFTER-EFFECT OF THE BLISS OF NOTHING
When you return from a state of not-knowing to the belief in being someone definitive and have forgotten the bliss of not believing that, the empty breath remembers it for you – also if you only remember the empty breath once in a while. And just like it syncs being nobody with being somebody in a state of not-knowing, so you are able to move around in nothing as if it is something, it also does that in the after-effect of it. The ratio is different, though.

In a state of not-knowing, there is so little consciousness of being somebody that the apparently different experiences are not perceived to make a difference, so you are in the bliss of nothing. But in the after-effect of that, the empty breath syncs the bliss of nothing with the consciousness of something in relation to what and where you appear to be, so that emptiness is forgotten when you need to be conscious of something like driving a car. In other words, in a state of not-knowing, you are first of all nobody, and in the after-effect, you are mostly somebody.

When someone is hurt in a movie, that you are watching, you may also feel hurt. That is why the movie seems real. But since the film is not perceived to be real, feeling hurt seems entertaining. This is how it is to be connected with the empty breath. Though the world appears to be real, you perceive it as unreal. Hence its apparent ups and downs are equally enjoyable.

But since your slate is wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, there are no misperceptions of being special in the after-effect of it. Thus you are the basic. It perceives every experience as it is what it is, so no matter in which ratio nothing and something are sync by the empty breath, each experience makes it equally entertaining to appear as if you are someone definitive. This after-effect lasts from a few seconds to several years if you do not stop it by wishing to be special.

This is often done with new-age concepts of being in balance, the now and whatnot. That is until you are so frustrated from trying to make these concepts work, and you do not attempt to fix the disappointment but have its unedited energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, so you again have your slate wiped clean in a state of not-knowing and return to the consciousness of being someone as the basic self. You are in a state of not-knowing when you do not know what and where you and your beloved ones are. Yet it is your devotion to what you and they appear to be, that exposes the nothingness of this appearance.

To see that your hidden grievances are nothing disguised as something is as simple as recognising the nothingness of this haze. You do not need to analyse or understand it but to go into it with eyes wide open. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3: WHERE IS THE BLISS OF NOTHING?
Although what and where we believe to be is experienced to be somewhere, it is nowhere, because it is an experience created by the brain from out of nothing. The brain is as immaterial as the experiences it fabricates, but it uses them to make itself appear as if it is a material thing in a physical being, who seems to have the experiences of a tangible world that the brain fabricates and, therefore, believes to be a substantial being in a world made of solid elements.

In the context of this illusion, where nothing seems to be something, a state of not-knowing is a version of nothing that has not been processed by the brain into an experience of something. Read more about that here. In a world that is experienced to be something, a state of not-knowing may in an abstract way appear to originate from the back of the head, when all the grievances that have been stored there are acknowledged as old friends, and, therefore, do not appear to create pressure in your head but sheer bliss. Yet the whole brain will never be in a transparent bliss of nothing.

The way to become friends with old complaints is not to get rid of them or understand them, nor to forgive those you resent for having caused them, but to acknowledge what the grievances make you feel by being that and nothing else, so there is not something to contrast what you feel, wherefore neither you or what you feel is definable. Hence you are in the bliss of not knowing what and where you appear to be.

To be nobody and yet somebody (DRAFT)

Reality has nothing to say but ´I am here ´ because it takes more than one to go anywhere, and it is that which is one and. For the same reason, where it is cannot be known. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you are a long-time reader of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, you may skip the first part of this article and start with the paragraph. It is easy to connect with the empty breath when not looking for something.

It is the brain and nobody else that tells you to experience someone as stupid or bright, for example. It will also suggest how you should deal with that. Whether you consider or reject the suggestions, you are well entangled in the game of the brain, which is to make you believe that you are separated from what you experience so you appear to be someone separated from a world that seems to be outside of you.

This is not to say, that there are ways to escape that game, except, of course, to die. You must play the game of the brain if you want to go on as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. If you do, the brain rewards you with shots of happiness.

Like in most games, the end is built into it, so you do not have to feel you are stuck in the brain. When your time is up, the brain stops to work. Thus there is nothing to establish you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, so nobody appears to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Until then, you have much fun appearing to be in the game if you perceive the experiences the brain fabricates of it as they are, and not as they ought to be according to a special belief system like socialism, capitalism, Buddhism or any other ism.

In the case, your perception relates to the experiences as they are, you are not someone definitive but someone relative to the brain (read more about that here), which, as already said, therefore, supports you with shots of happiness. If your perception does not relate to the experiences as they are but to a belief system of yours, this system seems to establish you as someone special in charge of its own life. But since it never turns out as it ought to be, you do not feel happy but frustrated. Read more about that here.

If you connect with the empty breath you are not relative to the brain anymore, nor independent of it because you are nobody and thus not somebody in the experiences created by the brain, although you appear to be there. In other words, you are in the world of the brain but not of it.

This, however, is only possible for 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to be able again to have a conscious experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one (see the end of this article). Fortunately, it is possible to get around this by quickly shifting between the conscious experience of being someone and having no consciousness of what and where you appear to be. This is what we explore in the below:

It is easy to connect with the empty breath when not looking for something
If not constructing a perception that has left out everything in your experiences which does not make sense according to a particular belief system, socialism or capitalism, for example, the unedited energy of them will ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

Connecting with it may at first feel as if you have two kinds of breaths. The well-known one that you probably, out of habit, struggle for by taking quick gasps of air through the nose. And then the empty breath that takes over when you are willing to not breathe too fast, taking a deep breath or in any other way manipulate the breath.

To achieve this, it can be of help to hold a finger under your nose every now and then. It may make you feel as if you are not getting enough air. But that is because when you do not try to catch your breath, the empty breath takes over. And it has a slower pace than you are used to with a more extended break in between breathing in and out. In a very laid-back way, it keeps a healthy balance between breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide.

Physically speaking the empty breath is best felt when the air is coming in and out through the nose and not the mouth. But not as if it is you who do the breathing, but a ´generator´ in the abdomen from where it, very gently, first expands the abdomen, secondly the belly and lastly the chest before it after a short break goes the other way to contract the body. And then on and on. It feels like there is hardly any air coming in and out of the nose but that it remains as a stream within the body.

Please be aware, that this is not a factual description of how breathing is carried out when the empty breath is in the driving seat, but a description of what it may feel like, physically speaking. It could also be that you feel it as if the generator is in the chest. Sometimes this is how it feels for Alexius. Hence you should not try to replicate the way described here by him but use it as an inspiration to not do something, so the empty breath is not blocked from filling you with the bliss of nothing. This, by the way, is not something to be felt in the body, nor outside of it as if in the external world. It is felt nowhere.

You do not need to remember every detail of this photo to get a sense of stormy weather. Likewise, you do not need to remember all the explanations about the empty breath to connect with it. And you should absolutely not try to remember being connected with it. The connection consists of nothing and you cannot remember nothing. The above is not something you need to remember and strictly follow. The empty breath does not know what you believe in doing. The only thing required for the connection to work is a willingness to go with the flow.

Although the empty breath has nothing to give but emptiness, it feels like you get more energy. Maybe because the lack of something dissolves the tensions in the body that restricts a full breath. As emptiness is powerless, the empty breath cannot do this without your permission. If you are not ready to give that, it may take some time before you feel more energetic. No worries. Time is an illusion. However, let us get practical and talk about how to get there:

When the breath expands the body from the abdomen to the chest, you follow a flow from the abdomen to the top of the head while you stick to the thoughts and/or feelings popping up without making a perception of them that excludes what you judge to be politically incorrect. At the top of the head, the gentle explosion of the unedited energy of thoughts and feelings erases the perception of your experience as something, so you are in the bliss of nothing and thus indifferent to being someone definitive.

This state of not-knowing remains while following the flow of breath down to the abdomen, and repeatedly going up and down, provided you do not perceive an appearance, your spouse for example, to make a difference.

This should not be understood as a state of not-knowing is in the flow of the physical breath – just like the music you turn on by hitting a button is not in that action. A state of not-knowing is nowhere in particular and therefore obscured by the experiences of time and space, that seems to confirm you as someone definitive in a tangible world.

Following the rhythm of the breath as described above or in the other articles in the below links hypnotises the brain, so it forgets to continually produce a conscious experience of you as someone separated from others by time and space. Since this is the primary purpose of following the breath, it is not essential to do it in the exact same the way you interpret it should be done according to the explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

If you think you find something better around the next corner, you will probably not notice the empty breath, because it is not behind anything but before everything. The empty breath is nothing so looking for something you miss it
Although being in the bliss of nothing is simple and straightforward, it may seem complicated if you are conditioned with the ideas of controlling and/or stopping thoughts because controlling or preventing something is not possible in the nothingness of bliss.

Neither is it beneficial for getting there. On the contrary. It is when you do not try to stop thoughts or in any other way focus on them, that they are free to speed up until the explosion of their unedited energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, and thus to the blissful state of not-knowing. In short, it is not focussing but defocusing that will get you to a state of not-knowing in which there is nobody to be conscious of thoughts and feelings.

The apparent difference between a boy or a girl, for example, must be upheld as real to sustain the belief, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. This difference remains precisely the same when connected with the empty breath, but due to its indifference, your it is not judged to make a difference. Thus the belief in being someone definitive fades out.

The flow of the empty breath is flexible
Being defocused, you may forget the above description of going up and down in alignment with the rhythm of the breath and instead go the other way around. Or the distance of going up and down can be diminished or enlarged, so when going up you pass the top of the head and going down, you go below the abdomen. No worries. There is nobody to notice the apparent difference. Thus it makes no difference.

The brain will try to process a state of not-knowing into an experience of something instead of nothing by babling about awakening, coming from pure essence, heart (read more about that here) or whatnot, so the image it has fabricated of you as someone definitive is confirmed as real and thus obscure, it is made from out of nothing. Read more about that here.

So just connect with the empty breath and go with its flow of nothing as it comes to you. Having done that a few times, you automatically return to the empty breath, whenever you prefer to perceive problems as nothing instead of something.

The flow of going up and down
Instead of remaining in a state of not-knowing after going down to the abdomen when the breath contracts the body, you can return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, when you leave the abdomen and with the expansion of the body goes up to the head again. Leaving a state of not-knowing, you do by perceiving yourself to make a difference.

From the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can again return to a state of not-knowing, which is done by not perceiving the thoughts and feelings constituting the experience of being someone to be something specific. Thus you leave the head with no specific thoughts and feelings when the body contracts and go with the flow of the breath down to the abdomen where you go up with the flow to the head and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive – and so on.

Having been in this flow for a while, it becomes automatic. Thus you appear to be someone who is conscious of itself but does not know what it means. In other words, you are in the world but not of it.

When not connected with the empty breath, grudges and so-called negative thoughts keep popping up as before. But as the after-effect of the connection is happiness you do not bother.

You cannot know when you are connected with the empty breath because being that, you are in a state of not-knowing. Nor can you be aware of who it is that is following the breath up and down because the contrast of up and down, in a short time, cancels out itself (read more about that here), so there is nobody going nowhere.

As time is an illusion, the contrast making up the flow has already been cancelled out. More to the point, this or any other contrast has never existed because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. But while you believe there is more than one, enjoy the illusion of going with the flow.

No more than that which is one
Should you forget to follow the flow and thus forget about the empty breath, there is no reason to condemn yourself for that, because there is no self. It takes more than one to be or have a self, and as there is no more than that which is one, any kind of self is make-believe. For the same reason being with the empty breath is also make-believe. Read more about the illusion of experiences here:

Nevertheless, being with it makes it easier to not assume it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. And not believing that you do not perceive the experience a world where there seems to be more than one to be something but nothing. Hence you enter the bliss of emptiness.

If you stay in this state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time the brain falls into a coma and, therefore, is unable to make the experiences that seem to manifest you as someone definitive. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding there never was and or will be more than that which is one. Hardly anybody, however, stays that long at a time in a state of not-knowing. But maybe long enough to sense that this is so.

APPENDIX:
If you try to make the empty breath follow the physical breath, you are not connected with the empty breath. On the contrary. You fend it off because it has nothing to do with bodily preoccupation. Actually, you will never know if the physical breath and the empty breath are aligned because when connected with the empty breath, you are in a state of not-knowing. Read more about that in The bliss of nothing.

Hence the explanations in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings about how it feels to be connected with the empty breath are based on Alexius memories of being that. And since he was not aware of the physical breath in the connectedness with the empty breath and since anything in the after-effect of the connection is perceived as it is what it is (read more about that in The bliss of nothing), it does not matter to him if they are aligned or not.

But it is a matter of speech when Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings say the empty breath fills you with emptiness. It does not supply you with anything. Instead, it replaces your perception of the body as something with nothing. Hence the body is acknowledged for what it already is, namely nothing. The same applies to every other experience you have of something. Consequently, there is not something to bother you. That is why it is so blissful to be connected with the empty breath.

´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be (in the process of being updated)

What you believe to be and see is nothing but empty space. Thus not being and seeing something specific is a blissful revelation of emptiness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath is not part of the experiences of you being someone substantial in a tangible world, which the brain fabricates by twisting nothing into something (read more about that here). This is because the nothingness of the empty breath has not been twisted into something by the brain. That does not mean the empty breath is spiritual but that it remains in the nothingness from where the brain creates a world of something. Thus connecting with the empty breath, going to that which is spiritual, namely the formlessness of oneness, is a journey without distance.

The only reason we believe the experiences created by the brain are real and not fantasy is that they seem to confirm we are somebody and not nobody. Hence it is only the desire to be somebody, that seems to disguise that we are nothing processed by the brain into something.

Since it has taken the brain one second to fabricate the experience of what you believe to be and read right now, and it has made it from out of nothing, there was not something one second ago, and since that is where the empty breath resides, you connect with it by not perceiving the present experience as something which takes you back one second in time to where there is nothing because the brain has still not twisted it into the current experience of something.

In the rhythmic flow of nothing, the basic contrast making up the consciousness of you as someone definitive, namely expansion and contraction, is cancelled out (read more about the cancellation of contrasts here), so although the experiences fabricated by the brain, as if nothing is something, goes on, as usual, there is nobody to perceive the experiences as something. Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. The brain, however, falls apart after 20 minutes, 45 at most (read more about that here) without someone confirming the experiences it fabricates to be something. So if you want to be able to return to the experience fabricated by the brain of you as someone in a world defined by time and space, you must leave this state of not-knowing before the brain falls into a coma. This you do by confirming you are separated from others, for example by sending love and healing to them. Read more about that here.

It is not possible to be someone definitive, because oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Should you wonder who does this or who are wondering about it, the answer is nobody, because there is nobody in empty space. Just like there is nobody in a dream and not somebody making it. Nor is the dream inside the one appearing to experience it because it consists of nothing. Read more about that here.

To make long short, what and where you believe to be is a construction of thoughts, that, just like a mirage, is experienced to be something until you get closer and see it is nothing. This look you get when with the empty breath because it sees what it is itself, namely nothing.

That is why it is best not to interpret the location and feel of the empty breath, as described in the next article, What does ´the empty breath´ feel like, as definitive. The empty breath is not definable by time and space and thus not something specific located in a definitive place you can feel in a categorical way (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?).

Also, be aware that the description of the empty breath in that article is written by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. This means, that just like the concepts of the world in a game like Monopoly are acknowledged but not believed to be real, the experience of a tangible world in empty space is acknowledged but not perceived to be substantial because there is nothing else than the formlessness of oneness. Thus it is best to perceive the explanations in the next article of where the empty breath as metaphors for nowhere.

None of those, though, are outside of you as in this image, which rather reflects the idea the special self has of the empty breath, namely that it is something it can control and, therefore, exploit. Read more about the special self here.

But no matter what kind of self you believe to be, you do not exist and thus have nothing to control or let go off, because that which is one is formless and therefore endless and it takes more than one to exist somewhere. This applies to the empty breath, as well but since it does not believe to anywhere or have any intention of taking you somewhere, it is your way back to the formlessness of oneness.

Not in the sense that it helps you realise oneness. That is not possible, since it takes more than to realise something. But when every single memory of a world where there seems to be more than one is gone, which it is after 20 minutes, 45 at most, in a state of not-knowing (read more about that here), there does not appear to be something hiding that there never was or will be more than that which is one.

Unrestrained chaos ignites a take-off to ´the empty breath´ [draft]

Not interfering with the speed of thoughts and feelings, they are set free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that syncs the worlds of the outer and inner senses, wherefore everything definable in the low-frequency world of the outer senses, stress for example, is absorbed by the abstractness of the high-frequency world of the inner senses and thus not felt as something specific. Like most, you probably organise thoughts and feelings into a perception that supports your preferred belief system of what is good and evil in a way that makes you appear to be one of the good ones. That is until you are at sleep. Then thoughts and feelings start flying around in ways that may not support your image of being good.

If it seems frightening to be good as well as bad, you probably interpret the aggressive elements in the dream to come from others and the nice ones from you. But if you have had enough from being a victim of the specific system you must follow to appear as if you are good only, you do not try to regain control of the dream when you wake up but simply go with the unrestrained chaos of thoughts and feelings, regardless they seem to be good or bad.

Not trying to systematise thoughts and feelings into a specific system, their chaotic energy in just second sync the material world experienced with the outer senses with the abstract world of the inner senses* in which everything moves so fast and unorganised, that the chaos in the material world does not seem disturbing but comforting.

This synchronisation, which is done by the empty breath, may not last because you are so used to organise thoughts and feelings into something that presents you as special that you, probably out of reflex, make a perception of the laid-back experience in which there seems to be something special you must take care of before you can relax.

If you want to undo this misperception and return to seeing the material world of the outer senses through the abstract world of the inner senses, you must include the thoughts and feelings you excluded to make a perception of yourself as special. Fortunately, this is easy. You just blame somebody else for your present state of mind (read more about that here).

Doing that, the thoughts and feelings you have suppressed are exposed in somebody outside of you, so you know what to include, which is done by not analysing but completely being them. That leaves nothing to contrast them and therefore not something to define what you are, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited, so it again can sync the material world experienced with the outer senses with the abstract world of the inner senses.

When the fear of the unknown is fully acknowledged by totally being that, what seemed to be something with the power to frighten you, is unveiled as nothing. Thus what is unveiled is neither hell or heaven but the transparency of bliss.

The avoidance of a feeling makes it appear to be something dangerous, whereas the acknowledgement of it reveals it is nothing and that the absence of something is blissful. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware, that totally acknowledging your suppressed thoughts and feelings can be felt like a trip to hell because when you dig out some of them, every thought and feeling that you ever buried is released. Read more about that here. Until they are fully acknowledged one by one or bundled by their common denominator, namely the fear of hell, it may seem as if having one panic attack after another or always being depressed. It may feel so dangerous to face your suppressed feelings that you prefer to die. Do not worry. You are not alone. Alexius has been there and since he made it, so can you.

All those who like to talk about emotions are not into feeling them but to control their appearance, because if something is totally felt, it is unveiled as nothing, wherefore there is nothing to talk about.

It is probably a process over time, where each emotion fully being felt is exposed as nothing, because when you are nothing else but hate, for example, there is no love to define it. So inevitably all feelings are all exposed as the same nothingness, and thus the bliss of it is when twisted into something definable.

In The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´, there is more about how to totally be a specific feeling so that it becomes indefinable and therefore revealed to be nothing but transparent bliss. The latter you can read more about in The acknowledgement of a feeling unveils its nothingness of bliss, and suppressed feelings in hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough.

Be aware, a feeling that has been exposed as nothing may return in the appearance of something. But if it is a feeling of anger, for example, it is like being upset about being jailed in a game. You know, it is not real. Hence you have fun feeling angry. And as that applies to any other feeling previously suppressed, they all return. Thus you have fun feeling something new all the time – especially because there is no need to avoid or hang onto specific feelings to construct a meaningful perception of yourself. Being entertained by feeling everything as it is, that is all the meaning you need. Just like when watching a TV show.

Looking for more meaning than that, you have to suppress the thoughts and feelings which do not fit into the political or spiritual concept you perceive as meaningful. Since that makes you feel incomplete, you go on trying to be fulfiled by suppressing unwanted feelings, until you realise there is nothing to fulfil and that the suppressed feelings, if unedited, will ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that wipes the slate clean, wherefore you feel fulfilled by sensing everything as it is.

The way Picasso learned to paint was by replicating traditional art, which he did until he was so good at it that he could forget the techniques and go with the flow of the brush. But there is nobody to replicate in regard to connecting with the empty breath because its flow is that of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Not knowing anything ignites a take-off to the empty breath
We usually learn something by replicating someone. This is how we learned to talk and walk. Connecting with the empty breath, however, is not about learning but unlearning, so the purpose of this and the other articles in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing and hack #5.3 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone is not to learn something but to unlearn everything you believe to know.

Thus Alexius experiences of the empty breath, as described in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, are not meant to be learned, so you know how to feel it but to give you an idea of what it is like to be an empty vessel for the empty breath. Being that yourself, your story about may sound different. Just like the same cup of tea can be experienced in many different ways.

Even though, for example, Madonna in the 80s arose from nobody to somebody, it did not last. It never does. Everybody knows this and yet they try so hard to a making a legacy, that foever will establish them as somebody.

Nothing lasts, because it takes more than one to last and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, and thus without beginning and end. If you try to understand this, you miss it, because it also takes more than one to understand something.

The reason Alexius so often is an empty vessel is that there is no ´I´ with a need to know what and where it is. Most, on the other hand, work very hard to convince everyone that they are somebody definitive.

Trouble always follows in the footsteps somebody, whereas nothing but bliss comes in the wake of nobody.

Should they stop doing that, there is nothing to obstruct the empty breath from being activated as an automatic gear change between the inner and outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses become the basis for how you perceive the world of the outer senses,* namely as a fantasy experienced and made by nobody from out of nothing. Viewed like that, it is like playing a game where you pretend to be somebody but actually are nobody.

That being said, as long as we seem to be somebody in a fantasy felt as tangible, we cannot remain as nobody too long at a time. Alexius, for example, must adjust to the fantasy as if he is somebody definitive who can use the experiences produced by the brain to formulate his enlightened the non-teachings in a collectively agreed way of how we communicate in English. To write them, on the other hand, he must be nobody, because their language is that of nothing.

Read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings until you are so empty, that a take-off to the empty breath automatically is ignited – or you are so tired of reading, that you forget to control yourself, so uncontrolled energy spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This is, by the way, the reason you automatically are connected with the empty breath when reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings continuously.

As any construction of thoughts can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, and as a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but a construction of thoughts, there is nothing in it which cannot be used be used for that.

Exclusiveness results in you appearing to be someone definitive, but since that feels restricting, you always have a desire for more. Inclusiveness, on the other hand, results in nothing and thus no hope for more. Hence there is nothing to fence off to the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness. In other words, fragmenting this photo into what you like and do not like will further define you as someone definitive and therefore enhance the feeling that something is missing, whereas the full inclusion of it is your ticket to the bliss of nothing.

Implementing other hacks to ignite a take-off to the empty breath

The same applies to see symbols of non-duality in a world of duality (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life) and pretending to be someone (hack #14 Pretending to be someone definitive).

When you do not care about your appearance in the world of the outer senses, anything in the experience of it can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. If you, for example, are entirely devoted to the sadness of not getting a response from a loved one or the happiness of getting it, or wholly dedicated to the fantasy of someone or something unattainable (read more about that here), a take-off to the empty breath is ignited.

In the case of Alexius, his love for his cats often ignites a take-off to the empty breath. Since there is no language established for expressing his love for them, it turns into the bliss of nothing. This is, of course, only when he is the basic self. Being the special self, his cats are not enough, nothing is. Thus it is the frustration of nothing being good enough that ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of nothing. Being satisfied with the bliss of nothing that he gets, a quick taste is sufficient for Alexius. Returning to the consciousness of something, however, he devotes himself so much it that it becomes nothing, so he is back in the bliss of nothing. Going there has become automatic, because every time he returns from the bliss of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being Alexius, the slate is wiped clean. And since he, therefore, is the basic self, which is what he was made to be, Alexius is happy no matter what and where he appears to be.

That being said, everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, so he is also as sad as can be. But since happiness and sadness are two sides of the same coin, he does not feel that being in touch with one of those two emotions leaves out the other one. Thus he is so happy-sad that nothing disturbs him from going back and forth between being that and the bliss of not-knowing.

One day, he probably remains in the latter until there is nobody to return to a conscious experience of being Alexius. This takes 20 minutes, 45 at most, because the brain cannot survive if it does not have continuous communication with someone definitive, so it seems there is more than one.

Hence he is not in a world where there seems to be more than one anymore and never was because it takes more than one to be somewhere and there is no more than that which is one is formless and therefore without beginning and end.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings does give you anything, because that which is you is oneness, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is nothing else to have than what you are.

The Duality Hacks and that which is you
There is no reason to laboriously learn all the hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them is a goal in themselves – nor do they lead to the target. There is no destination because you are already there.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of the duality hacks is not to return to that which is one but to expose the belief that seems to hide it, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

The speed of unedited thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off to the bliss of nothing (DRAFT)

PART 1: UNEDITED SPEED BRINGS YOU INTO THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Oneness is contrary to the common belief, not the same as stillness but loudness. That is if the speed of it could be experienced. But that is not possible, because it requires more than one to experience something.

You could also say, the reason oneness cannot be experienced is that it is a movie (an analogue), that is played so fast that the individual frames of it cannot be seen because. The speed merges them into one. Hence it is not quietness but speediness that is the bedrock of that which is one.

In the context of this metaphor, a world where there seems to be more than one is a movie of oneness slowed down so much, that it seems to consists of frames divided by time and space.

Those insisting in oneness being stillness are those who want to take it slow, because that gives them time to feel they are in control.

It is, therefore, not calmness but speediness, that is needed to accelerate the slowed-down movie of oneness into its natural speed, which is so fast that nothing can be seen. Hence hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not about slowing down thoughts or stopping them but not holding them back so the speediness of them ignite a take-off to the empty breath. It syncs the speedy thoughts in the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, so they can be further accelerated without you going insane in the world of the outer senses.

Inevitable thoughts move so fast that there is no time to hold onto any of them to make you come out as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses. Thus that world is perceived from the world of the inner senses, where you are not someone definitive. Thus you are in a state of not-knowing, which is pure bliss.

If you remain in that state for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, the speed of the thoughts become so fast that they merge into the enlightenment of that which is one, from where there is nothing to gently fall into the formlessness of oneness. See hack #6-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one. Most, however, never enter a state of not-knowing and if they do they leave it after a few seconds or minutes. So we return to the subject of this hack, which is not that which is one but how to enjoy the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one while slowly but surely having it undone.

Since there is no more than that which is one, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is absurd. That includes Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. For a take-off to the empty breath to work, you do not have to sit in special postures or do something extraordinary. There is one thing, though, you must do to make it work. You got to acknowledge the chaos of thoughts and feelings as they are experienced without analysing or trying to understand them, nor to shape them by a philosophical or religious system, because if editing, the speed of chaos is replaced by the numbness of order.

To not suppress the chaos through mental or meditative activity, but instead acknowledge it as it is, you do nothing than to totally be it.* This is not only the take-off to the empty breath but also the destination because totally being something leaves nothing to contrast it. And as that does not leave behind anything to define you, you are in a state of not-knowing. Read more about that here.

In a state of not-knowing, the apparent difference between specific thoughts is not perceived to make a difference, neither is the supposed difference between what is presumed to be you and others. Thus there is nobody to be separated from somebody or at one with anybody – nor to experience the bliss that this entails.

But you do not know the bliss of that before you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and memories of it start popping up. You know, however, you are in a state of not-knowing when you do not care about what and where you appear to be.

When trying to control, change or stop thoughts and feelings, they are slowed down and therefore do not have the speed needed to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, where they lose their apparent meaning, since the empty breath is indifferent to differences. Consequently, they also lose their apparent power to define you as someone definitive.

Please be aware, that the above explanation of that which is one versus a world where there seems to be more than one is as absurd as any other explanation of this or anything else, because it requires more than one to explain something and there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

And as it also takes more than one to find something, there is neither truth, love, oneness or anything else to be found anywhere. Thus Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not reveal oneness, nor do they point to it, since that requires more than one. But they point to the belief that it is possible to be and have more that which is one as that is what seems to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one because it is formless and therefore endless.

If you do not like to feel you are an outsider, it is not solved by blaming others, but by only feeling that. As that means there is nothing to contrast what you feel, it cannot be defined. Hence there is nothing but the bliss of emptiness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2: COMPLETELY BEING SOMETHING UNVEILS THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Feeling wrong seems to go away when you complain about somebody because that makes them appear to be wrong and you to be right. But complaining about others to escape unwanted feelings in yourself is like covering them under the lid in a cooking pot. Sooner or later, the pressure of the suppressed emotions blows off the lid and steam of grievances shoot out.

Since the cooking pot in this metaphor is your body, the above is to say, that although complaining about somebody at first seems to make you feel better, the problem is not solved. It has just been buried inside your body from where it will come out in the open when the body expels the suppressed problem through physical disease. Whatever that is, you most likely blame it for having caused you to suffer, so you still can deny having an emotional problem.

You do not get rid of an emotional problem by suppressing but feeling it. This is not done by telling friends or a psychiatrist what you think that your problem is. Focusing on the cause displaces the feeling, and so does talking about it because that disassociate you from feeling it.

Totally being a feeling is as easy as being completely devoted to sex, for example. It does not mean, by the way, that you go deep down in the feeling. It is like going deep into a well. No reason to do that. It is the same water on the surface. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

So instead of sharing what you think you feel with somebody, feel it all by yourself until you are nothing but that, wherefore there is no feeling to contrast it and, therefore, not something to define you as having a problem or anything else. Consequently, you are in a state of not-knowing.

Contrasts are slowly but surely cancelled out in the indifference of the empty breath, including the contrast between life and death. This does not necessarily mean that the bodily symptom of the suppressed feeling magically vanishes. The body may still hurt. But since there is nobody to perceive this as something, it is, just like in a dream, nothing, which applies to everything else, so there is not something to be bothered by. Nor is there anybody to know the bliss that this entails before returning to the belief in being someone and blissful memories of not believing that start to surface.

Since these memories slowly by surely rubs off on your perception of what and where you appear to be as someone definitive, you do not need to avoid or hold onto any feeling to establish yourself as special. Consequently, the body is not used as a garbage bin for unwanted feelings, so it is not disturbed by immaterial matters and can take care of physical issues just like it was made to do. However, when it comes to viruses transferred from wild animals, for example HIV, Mers and COVID 19, and other sicknesses generated by the way of modern living, the body generally needs help from healthcare professionals.

To sum it up, acknowledging a feeling as something specific that you experience as someone definitive makes it possible to completely be what you feel. Being that and nothing else there is not something to contrast it, and therefore nothing to define what you are. Thus you enter a state of not-knowing. However, it is not before you leave it and return the belief in being someone definitive, that you remember, the bliss that comes from being indifferent to that.

You must leave a state of not-knowing after 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to be able again to have a conscious experience of being someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma if there is not a continuous dialogue – internal or external – about something that seems to confirm you are someone definitive. If the brain is not kept active by you continuously perceiving something as separate, it cannot uphold the consciousness of you as someone definitive, wherefore you are in a state of not-knowing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

So if you do not want the brain to fall into a coma, and you to disappear in the nothingness from where the experiences of what you believe to be is fabricated by the brain, you must return to the consciousness of being someone in a world of something by resuming your grievances about the world experienced to be outside of you, so you again are established to be separated from what you experience and thus to be someone definitive. Read here how complaints seem to make you appear to be real.

Instead of returning from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can totally forget about something, so there is nothing to be absorbed by the enlightenment of that which is one, so there is no consciousness, states of bliss or anything else that requires more than one.

Hence there is not something which seems to hide, there never was or will be nothing but that which is one. Read about the enlightenment of that which is one in HACK #5-7, Inner senses, enlightenment, and glimpses of it. This does not only mean that the appearance of you as someone definitive is terminated, but that you have never existed, neither in a material or spiritual way, because it takes more than one to exist.

No reason to worry about accidentally and abruptly being terminated as someone in the enlightenment of that which is one, because in most cases the fear of it (read more about that here) or the urge to separate will set in before that, so you automatically fend off that which is one to appear as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Obviously, nor Alexius or anybody else has passed the point of no return in the enlightenment of that which is one because a world where there seems to be more than one is still experienced, and it only takes one to undo what is not one because there is no more than that which is one.

PART 3: THE RETURN FROM THE BLISS OF NOTHING TO THE HAPPINESS OF SOMETHING
When returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone, just like a criminal, you do not think in the categories of right or wrong. Unlike a criminal, however, you do not replace these categories with a calculation of what you can get away with it. You are aware that you do not choose what you do – only how you perceive it.

You do not get stressed from always having to avoid what you judge as negative, being angry for example, when perceiving everything as it is what it is. Read more about this perception here.

And since your perception always is that it is what it is, negative thoughts are just as welcome as positive ones. So is the empty breath. Most of this hack, however, presumes you do not perceive everything as it is what it is, but I know what it is. And as you have to exclude everything unknow from your awareness to uphold this perception, you are full of hidden thoughts and feelings which suppressed energy can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

If you have been reading hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one and hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough, you have probably grasped that you, in the terms of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, are the basic self when perceiving everything as it is what it is and the special self, if you have made a perception of yourself that implies you know better than the brain and thus have established yourself better and more unique than the basic self the brain has created – or in the process of doing it.

Being in sync with the brain, there is nothing to disturb you from falling into a state of not-knowing.

Since the basic self is in sync with the brain, it feels the happiness of something contrary to the special self which is out of sync and thus gets the sadness of something. They are equally illusionary, though, but it does not seem so dangerous to have that exposed when being a basic and not a special self.

When you realise hell you are in heaven [DRAFT]

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings cannot take something away from you, nor can they give you anything because just like what you believe to be, or to become, is nothing but a fantasy, so are they. But since Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not try to hide that, the belief in being someone is exposed as a fantasy, the more you read them. This results in nothing, but, eventually, there does not appear to be something to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. If you do not acknowledge that there is negativity in you but project it onto others, you cannot experience genuine positivity in yourself because it is your negativity that defines it. The same applies if you remove negative thoughts and feelings from your awareness by projecting them onto vulnerable parts of your body. To make long short, when you do not acknowledge negativity in yourself, the experience of being positive is humbug. See also Positive thinking is bullshit.

The way to bring back your negativity so it can formulate true positivity in you is to acknowledge it as yours no matter where you experience it to come from because you cannot see and feel something you do not have. Just like the suns colouration of your skin is established by the amount of pigmentation you have in it.

You acknowledge negativity as yours like you ratify, there is water in a well, namely by looking at it from above. In other words, you affirm negative thoughts and feelings to be in yourself by looking at them superficially because going deep, you could get lost. Besides, a sense of negativity is enough to define positivity and kick off the interplay of this polarity that makes you feel amused and complete.

This was the short version. The longer one is that when you begin to bring back negativity into your awareness as something that is in you, the interplay of negativity and positivity may not get your attention right away. Instead, you probably feel you are falling into hell because unwanted emotions keep coming out of the dark. Read more about that here. This may start off slowly with a familiar sense of depression that you a long time ago hid from your awareness by combining it with the sensitivity of a vulnerable section of the body.

But since depression often is a rage that has been depressed, it is only a matter of time before it flares out in brutal sensations of hellfire. Maybe it feels like acid-like splashes come from the fragile part of the body, you initially imagined to fuse with your anger, or like you are being tortured by a ruthless and persistent pain.

Any experience perceived as positive is bound to seem negative someday because everything, in a world of duality, comes in pairs of opposites. Accepting this interplay of opposites, you know positivity is based on negativity and vice versa. Thus negative thinking is a confirmation of positivity. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Not escaping but acknowledging the feeling of falling into hell, you can perceive it as ´it is what it is.´ Since that cancels out the meaning it seemed to have, it is no longer limited to be an experience of hell. Its counterpart, heaven, is revealed as well. Amazed by that, you realise, in a world of duality, there is no heaven without hell. Just like there is no breathing in without breathing out. You cannot have one without the other. It is an enduring connection, like two sides of the same coin.

Going back and forth between the displeasure of hell and the pleasure of heaven is not about balancing heaven and hell but having fun continuously going up down, like sitting on a seesaw or playing yoyo, for example. Consistently feeling entertained by this interplay of polarity, nothing seems to be missing. Hence the need to be and have more than that which is one, eventually, goes away. Along the way, however, you might need to fix the physical issues in which you once attempted to bury your hellish feelings.

When you no longer use the body as a means to hide unpleasant feelings from your awareness, the body does not feel attacked by you. Thus it relaxes and become available for healing. Not by your ideas, though, because it does not want to be integrated with spirituality, or pumped up to appear more physical, so you can promote yourself as spectacular. Attempts like that, the body deals with as attacks on its substantial existence.

The brain, fortunately, has the blueprint of the body hooked up with the biological system, so it can use it to restore the body in a way that makes it feel safe. Your assistance may be needed for extra vitamins or a call to a health care professional, for example.

Should the descent into hell seems too horrifying, you can, instead, take a break from duality. That is not done by pacifying yourself via meditation, music and whatnot, but by stepping into the full uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions. The chaotic energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath, which brings you into a state of not-knowing, so although you seem to be in a world of duality, you are not of it (read more about that in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

In regard to the descent into hell, you may find the book Descent to the Goddess interesting, even though it is not in line with the duality hacks and supposedly only for woman.

In a state of not-knowing, there is nobody with a consciousness of being somebody. Ergo there is nothing to fend off the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (read more about that here). But you should not remain in this state for longer intervals of time if you do not want to permanently undo the experience of being someone (see the previous article).

No worries. You do not need much time in a state of not-knowing to have your slate wiped clean (see this article), so you return to the conscious experience of being someone with the perception ´it is what it is.´ Read more about that here. Perceiving experiences in this way, the apparent difference between heaven and hell, for example, is not seen to make a difference. Thus the interplay of this polarity, as well as any other, is not scaring but thrilling.

This is not to say that non-duality is a fusion of heaven and hell or the union of all contrasts. Non-duality is not something, nor nothing, as it takes more than one to be anything. But since it also requires more than one to experience anything, every experience is nothing, whereas non-duality is everything because it is formless and therefore endless.

Non-duality, however, is not the issue of this article. Its topic is how to engage in a world of duality because, just like you cannot leave a game you do not play, you cannot undo the belief in duality unless you live it as it is. So we return to the ways of duality, where thoughts and feelings need to be dealt with in an abstract way and physical problems in a substantial way. These ways cannot be mixed, so if your negative thoughts and emotions are believed to come from worrying about a physical issue, you better uncouple the blend of abstractness and solidness.

Since the combination is a construction of thoughts which often is made by combining a past worry triggered by a present physical problem and manifested by thinking ´what if this and that happens,´ you undo it by not saying ´what if …´ but ´it is what it is

In hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough, you can read more about the unfortunate combination of psychological and physical feelings. And in hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one, you can read about the perception ´it is what it is,´ and how it makes your personality relative. If you look for perfection, these hacks may not be for you because they are still under construction.

And since the combo, therefore, has no specific impact on you and there is no cause without an effect, the psychosomatic problem you constructed by imagining to combine a non-physical issue with a physical one is no more and never was. Read more about cause and effect here. Hence there is nothing for you to do than to assure the body, that it is not attacked and never was by non-physical issues because they have no physical strength. Thus it relaxes and does not fend off having its physical problem healed.

You could also say, you recognise that psychological and physical issues do not mix, so the combination of them is imagination. Just like a romantic relationship with a celebrity that you dream about does not get physical regardless of how much you fantasise about it. Nor does the comments or likes you get on Facebook improve your physical life because cyberspace and physical reality do not mix.

When you believe in having vertigo, the world is not spinning around you. It is solely going on inside of you. Believing you have vertigo is a glaring example of making up something that is impossible. The world is not spinning around you. The experience is caused by a psychological problem inside you, which seems so dangerous that you need to keep it at a distance by imagining a whirling sensation. But facing the emotional issue, it does not seem threatening. Hence there is no need to hide it behind the experience of being out of balance. Consequently, there is no vertigo to disturb you.

In other words, you do not heal vertigo by dealing with the body, but the feeling you conceal behind the experience you create of being in a body out of balance. If you are too shaky to recognise this feeling, you are probably so busy hiding it, that all you sense is confusion. No worries. Instead of facing what you suppress, you perceive your bewilderment as ´it is what it is.´

Doing that it is not defined anymore and thus not a distraction that can hide what you have withheld. This does not necessarily mean you understand what it is and why you suppressed it. Actually, it is best not to get into that because analysing prevents you from feeling it, which is all you need to perceive your experience as ´it is what it is.´ Since this perception rinses the suppressed feeling for meaning, it is not experienced to be dangerous anymore. Thus there is no need to make up fantasies of whirling sensations. Consequently, there is no vertigo.

In the article, Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome, the appoach to dealing with vertigo is similar to this article but much more detailed. It is not in line with the basis of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings though.

But there are cases where vertigo is partly or wholly a physical problem. If so you should, of course, do the physical exercises you can find on the internet, for example the Epley exercise, or make an appointment with a healthcare professional. If, however, the reason you attend to your problem is to get it over and done with, you will expect a specific result. Hence you do not feel fine regardless of the outcome like you do when merely perceiving the issue as ´it is what it is

Hoping to escape the world of duality reinforces the belief in duality because it takes more than one to wish for something as well as to escape it. Fortunately, you are not in such world, nor anywhere else, because only in duality can you appear to be somewhere, and there is no duality since non-duality is formless and therefore endless. PART 1:
When you drive a car, you do not try to change how its engine works or looks. You use the wheel, gear, gas and brake pedal, and trust the engine to do what it is supposed to.

You may not feel and see the body as it is, but instead, a vision of what it will feel and look like in the future when you have succeeded in imposing the unfortunate belief of a body-mind connection on it.

But moving around in a body, you try to bypass its biological system so you can pump up the appearance of the body by forcing it lifting a lot, consuming a special diet, sitting in weird positions yo attain peace, and other things that restrict it and make it impossible for its biological system to connect with the brain, which, therefore, cannot take care of it.

The purpose of the duality hacks is not to heal the body. In most cases, it is perfectly able of doing that itself, when not being dominatied by your ideas of mindfullness and wellnes.

The application of one or more of the duality hacks reestablishes this connection. Not by healing the body, though, but the foolish belief that it is part of you. Hence it becomes like a coat you are wearing or a car you are driving. And just like a car works fine as long as it is connected with the engine and you supply it with water and gasoline, the body works as it should when combined with the brain through the biological system, and you provide it with water and food, brush its teeth, wash it and sometimes take it for a ride.

There may, of course, be cases where particular parts of the body ask for special treatment. Perhaps they need to be massaged, or there is an inner organ that requires special care by professional healthcare services. If such help is required, the body will ask for it.

Projecting unpleasant feelings on the body and expecting the problems they cause there to go away when the body is improved is like projecting feelings onto your smartphone and expecting them to go away when the phone is repaired. Just like feelings cannot be mixed with the mechanical parts of a smartphone, they do not mix with the physical nature of the body.

But most often the body just wants to say, that it has no way of dealing with the feelings you hide from your awareness by dumping them in obscure parts of it. The body is a physical thing and made to deal with physicality only, so unless you bring the unwanted feelings back into your emotional awareness and deal with them there, they will mess up the body.

There is no extraordinary purpose for appearing to be or have a self, just like there is no purpose of pretending to be someone in a video game except for having fun pretending to be what you are not. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

INTERLUDE:
The special self uses much energy to suppress the thoughts and feelings judged as negative or politically incorrect. This it deems necessary for preserving what it believes to be or will become when it lives in the now, come from the heart or whatnot. The basic self, on the other hand, has no need to appear in a special way and therefore no need to suppress something judged as wrong.

Besides, it knows negativity is just as crucial as positivity. It is the combination of the negative and positive pole in an electric wire that makes energy. Read more about that here.

Fortunately, the duality hacks percive everything as they perceive themselves and since they are nothing so are your problems. That is why problems do not hold back the duality hacks from undoing the belief that you are someone definitive. Actually they apply themselves when continually reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings.

PART 2:
The special self dissociates itself from unpleasant experiences by justifying them with the world so it can perceive itself to be free from evil and that it is something which needs be battled in the world. Although this makes the tensions disappear from how it perceives itself, they remain hidden in obscure parts of its body. Read more about that here.

The tensions might have been hidden there for years, but sooner or later their suppressed energy causes parts of the body to be dysfunctional. Traditional medicine, nutritional supplements or massage, for example, often seem to be able to relieve you from the pain in one part of the body. But nothing has been healed. The pain has just been moved to another part of the body – often from the loin to the shoulders and vice versa.

Besides, the cause of the problem is not in the body but in your perception of yourself from where you have dumped unpleasant feelings into the body, so they are hidden them from your awareness. To heal the problems that this has caused, you must bring back the suppressed feelings where they were deemed to be unwanted, namely in your perception of yourself, so you can make a perception of yourself as you are.

This is not to say, that traditional medicine, nutritional supplements or massage should be avoided. They can be a great way to relieve the pain in the body, so you do not feel weighed down by it but have the energy to face your problem where it is made.

Actually, there is nothing that needs to be avoided. Not even restrictions. Although they do not bring relief but frustration, the latter, if unedited, can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath in which there is nobody to perceiving anything as a problem. See hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

Since many dumps feelings of silliness, for example caused by continually dropping something or going the wrong way, in the stomach, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) is often a psychosomatic illness. This is probably the reason, it is not a sickness the doctors diagnose based on blood analysis, but instead by eliminating other measurable disorders

You cannot avoid events that seem to make you sad, but you can refrain from interpreting them, so they make you sad. This naturally occurs for the basic self, which has no need for special events to make it happy, as happiness is the essence of all experiences not interpreted with the purpose of making it stand out as special. PART 3:
Feelings of silliness, perhaps caused by judging oneself to be amiss when continually dropping something or going the wrong way, are often dumped in the stomach. This may result in a sickness called IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). It is not measurable, so it cannot be diagnosed based on blood or another kind of physical analysis but by eliminating other measurable disorders, which often indicates it is a psychosomatic disorder.

That is probably why the problem is not solved through physically solutions like excluding onions and whatnot. The problem needs to be addressed where it is made, namely in the perception of yourself as not good enough.

This is not to say that in the case of IBS, you should not follow a diet like FODMAP, for example. It might be an excellent way to relieve stomach pain, so you have the strength to face your low self-esteem. In other words, it is not solved by getting more friends or likes on Facebook but by facing the problem where it is, namely in the perception of yourself. It has been edited to reflect what you wish to be and not what you are. In the language of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, the perception is out of sync with the script of the brain because you have excluded something from it. If not trying to justify, understand or in any way define those feelings that once in a while escape from the darkness in the body where they have been hidden, their restless energy automatically ignites a take-off to the empty breath. And since it is undisguised nothingness, it sees through the suppressed feelings or anything else that you perceive to be something including yourself. Thus there is no anxiety of something but the bliss of nothing in its connectedness.

An excellent shortcut for correcting the perception is to use the frustration that a psychosomatic disorder entails as a take-off to the empty breath (see hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing). It does not perceive the apparent difference between being loved or rejected to make a difference, so the cause of the psychosomatic disorder is cancelled out.

If your phone is out-of-order and it seems to make you upset, having the phone fixed may appear to address the anger as well. But the phone has neither the power to make you angry or heal you. So even though the anger has disappeared from your awareness, it will return when something else triggers it, unless you deal with the phone and your fury separately, so both of the problems can be corrected on their own terms. PART 4:
If physical symptoms of illness trigger memories of endangerment and those two elements are combined so that the physical symptoms are perceived to cause a threat, a fusion of physical and psychological reality seems to have been established. The resulting psychosomatic disorder cannot be healed by the biological system of the body because it is made to deal with physicality only. And like oil and water and does not mix, nor do psychological and physical elements, so the use of mental powers does not heal the body but mess it up even more.

The paradox in trying to heal a psychosomatic disorder is that it reinforces the fear of the physical symptoms and thus the psychosomatic disorder.

If the experience of the physical symptom, on the other hand, is not combined with the memories of endangerment that are triggered by it, the symptom remains physical and the memories psychological. The biological system, therefore, is free to deal with the physical symptom and leave the memories of danger to be dealt with psychologically.

When the condition of the body is not perceived to have been caused by emotional or mental problems, they do not seem to attest to the existence of the body and vice versa. Just like the world in a movie is not experienced as real and you not to partake in it, if the emotions it seems to provoke are not perceived to have been caused by it.

To sum it up: When you appear to be sick, and your concern about the physical symptom triggers a past sense of danger, that you interpret as caused by the present physical symptom, you develop a psychosomatic disorder. But since body and mind cannot be fused, no cure will work before the immaterial feeling is disentangled from the material symptom so each of the problems can be dealt with on their own term.

In a situation where you perceive yourself to be on top of it and know what to do, try for a moment to perceive you do not know what comes next. Then feel which perceptions makes you feel free.

This differentiation occurs by itself when you are the basic self because it relates to the stream of thoughts coming from the brain as is and not as it should be according to concepts of socialism, capitalism or any other ism that claims to be an infallible science, which is a mental attempt to find a special meaning where there is none. There is nothing to learn from the stream of thoughts coming from the brain, nor when it produces dreams or spiritual experiences. None of it means anything. It is all made out of nothing with just one purpose, namely to make it look as if it is something so one can have fun being entertained by nothing. Read more about that here.

Since you come back from a state of not-knowing with the slate wiped clean and therefore as the basic self (read more about that here) and since all the duality hacks bring about that state,* all you need to disentangle the material and immaterial problems is to go on reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings because doing so the duality hacks apply themselves.

In hack #5.3 ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone, you can read how the empty breath immediately takes you to a state of not-knowing. If you want to go tread about it but to go jump to hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

The two last hacks are about the enlightenment of that which is one, which does not lead to anything. Actually, it takes away everything, so there does not appear to be something to hide, there never was and never will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

When the experience of something, regardless it seems to be spiritual, material or immaterial, is not perceived to be real, the brains rendering of you as someone in the world of the experienced is bypassed and the enlightenment of that which is one is bid welcome.

Alexius uses no techniques for being connected with the empty breath or having glimpses of enlightenment. It happens by itself. The above is not meant to imply, there are certain phases you need to go through to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. Alexius went straight to the enlightenment of that which is one. Yet he bounced back to the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one before he reached the point of no return. In the experience of being someone in a tangible world, he changes between being the basic self, the special self and in a state of not-knowing. In the latter, he has glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which you can read about in hack #6-7.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can.

Alexius uses no techniques for this. Yet he presents some techniques that can facilitate it. See the article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment.

Being someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he knows there is no more that which is one. So he is not longing to ´return to´ the formlessness of oneness but enjoys pretending to be what and where he is not – just like within the context of where he pretends to be, he sometimes has fun pretending to be somebody in the virtual world of a game. In the enlightenment of that which is one, there are no experiences of a world where there seems to be more than one. Nor are there any memories of them because to remember something requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one. For the same reason, there is no experiences at all.

When he has had his fun doing that, he intends to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one with no intention of returning to the consciousness of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.


*) This does not apply to the enlightenment of that which is one as it takes more than one to be in a state and it straight away erases anything that requires more than one.
