´Alone together´ you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one

You are alone together, when you include all contrasts of the world as you perceive them, because what you perceive is what you think you are. Practically speaking this is done by really devoting yourself to what you hate or love. Devotion to one of the aspect of a contrast will do, as you cannot have the feeling of love without having the feeling of hate – and vice versa. So the inclusion of one aspect of a contrast, for example the love of your spouse, pet, work and whatnot will complete you. In this completeness you are alone but also together and as this is the way you left the oneness of that which is one – or rather imagined that you did – this is the way back to that which you never left except in your imagination. You are alone together*, when all the contrasts of the world are included as you perceive them, because this cancels them out and without contrasts there is no separation. Practically speaking this is done by completely devoting yourself to for example the contrast of love and hate. Devotion to one aspect of a contrast will do, as there is no way of knowing the feeling of love without knowing its contrast – and vice versa. Hence an unedited inclusion of love or hate for your spouse, pet or whatnot will undo the separation of you and your spouse, pet or whatnot, so that you are alone together – and as this is the way you appear to have left the formlessness of that which is one, it is also the way back to that which cannot be left except in an imagination of doing it alone together. Most persons try their best to fit into the part of the world where they appear to be, so that they in some collective acknowledgement of mutual likeness with the group of people there seem to be acknowledged as somebody who is part of something bigger and better than others.

When you try to fit into the world of a movie, the world from where you perceive it seems obscure.

This is why the enlightenment of that which is one seems to be hidden to them. It is not a concept, that you can fit into, and it is not part of a world where there seems to be more than one. So as long as you try to fit into such a world – whether in a so-called spiritual or mundane way – you cannot bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one has no need to fit into the world, neither to revolt against it, and so someone like that is free to pretend to be whatever the wind brings around.

To not fit into the world is not a matter of revolting against it, but to not believe in the purpose of appearing as someone definitive in it. This is not to say, that there is another and higher purpose you must find, or that you have a certain dharma to fulfil.

The bliss you may find in so-called spirituality takes you further away from that which is you, because it is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, and it is not blissful but fearful to believe that you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, exposing the fear that the belief in separation entails is more beneficial in regards to having this belief undone than doping yourself with bliss. Lots of so-called spiritual teachings promise more balance and freedom or transformation of the self into a higher consciousness. But it is just the ego, who in the disguise of a spiritual master wants to guide you into being more balanced and free than others or to raise you above them by providing you with a higher consciousness, so that the belief in separation, which is the foundation of ego, is uphold.

There is no other purpose of your appearance as someone definitive than to constantly enhance the belief in separation, so that it seems you are an autonomously person in a world where there seems to be more than you. If you revolt against this by for example following so-called socialistic or spiritual ideas, you are still founded on the belief in separation, as otherwise there would be nothing to revolt against.

To not care for the purpose of the world is to not care for being someone at all.

As all experiences are fabricated by the brain, the experience of meeting or being together with somebody else is a fabrication of your own. In other words, feeling together is not real. That is why you are alone together, and as such return to the formlessness of that which is one, just like you seemed to have left it, because it cannot be left unless you imagine to do it together as there is no more than that which is one. In other words, you cannot leave the formlessness of oneness except in your imagination and to make it appear as if there is more than one you imagine to leave the formlessness of oneness together, but as there is no more than that which is one you are alone together – and in the same way you imagine to return. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As all experiences are processed by the brain, to meet or be together with somebody perceived to be outside of you is a fabrication of your own. In other words, feeling together is make-believe. This is why you are alone together, and as such return to the formlessness of that which is one – just like you left it or rather imagined to leave it, because it is not possible to do that, as what is formless is endless. In other words, to not remain as that which is one, you left it together, but as there is no more than that which is one you left it alone together. By recalling this state of mind, which you do by not being exclusive but inclusive, you return alone together to that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The way to go against the thought system of separation without being a part of it is simply to not care about the thoughts, feelings and actions appearing to be issued by you. Not in the sense that you try to stop the them, but that you do not justify them. If not justified they have no cause, and so they are not an effect of somebody*.

When there is no need for more than one, you are on your own. Hence there is no doubt, what you receive is what you give. If you give love, you are loved, and if you feel rejected, you do not want to be loved. It does not make a difference though, because when you do not believe, there is more than that which is one, you are alone together.

When thoughts, feelings and actions are not justified, nothing appears to have caused them. Without a cause they are not an effect, and so you are alone together with thoughts, feelings and actions. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Consequently nobody thinks, feels and act*, and so the emptiness, that replaces the pain of believing to be somebody, paves the way of being alone together, which is a sure way back to the formlessness of that which is one. It does not mean, you must feel alone in order to go against the thought system of separation and return to that which is one, but that you must be what you appeared to be when you seemed to leave it, namely alone together.

The very moment there are thoughts about somebody you are alone together. If you, however, long for more than that which is one, you will suppress this, so you seem to experience somebody outside of you.

Appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one you are always alone together. But most appearances suppress this by forming an alliance with those perceived to be outside of them, so that they in a collective mutual agreement seem to be acknowledged by each other as unique and independent creatures.

Alone together can be compared to having a dream. Although there seems to be many different appearances separated by time and space, they are all in the same place within the dreamer, who therefore is alone together with all of them.

Hence they believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, instead of alone together returning to the formlessness of that which is one on a way that is not there, because what is formless is endless, so they never left it.

Alone together is not the only way ´back´ to the formlessness of that which is one. There are several ways of having the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. The fastest way is to not know what and where you are or to not care about being and having more, as that bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.1 From the inner senses through a black hole into that which is one).

The other ways Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings suggest for having this belief undone is pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.5-6), seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality (hack #2.1-2) and to not exclude but include (hack #3.2 & 6). These ways use the illusions of the world experienced with the outer senses to undo the belief in it, while you still are able to enjoy the excitement of it.

In the last two ways of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, namely to have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (hack #5-7,2) and connecting with the empty breath (hack #4.4-5) the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is undone with the help of the inner senses. You can find all the mentioned ways in the table of contents.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, because what is formless is endless, so a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion – including any way out of it. Hence the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not something you can get, because it is formless and you believe to be someone definitive

Though the Beatles followed Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for some time, they never transcended into the reality of oneness as he had promised, and neither did anybody else to whom he gave a mantra, they should repeat in order to slow down the mind. First of all, it is not possible to transcend someone definitive, because everything defined is make-believe and what is imagined cannot become real. Secondly, within the context of a world defined by time and space slowing down is not what is needed, if the formlessness of oneness is what you long for, because that is a very speedy affair. In the early 70s the hippie movement from the 60s generally speaking split into two groups, one looking for political solutions that could make life better for the people and one with the goal of giving each individual person a spiritual solution, which was thought to be enlightenment.

Almost 50 years later it is obvious that the people, who the political minded group thought to represent, do not want their solutions. Neither do hardly any persons want to enlightened. And the few who did never transcended as promised by for example Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who founded Transcendental Meditation.

The political minded group seems to have given up making the world better and the spiritual group have replaced their lofty visions of enlightenment with more down to earth ways of how they think each person should be healed, for example by coming from the heart.

Nowadays, however, the heart may not even be your own, but an implementation from somebody else or a replacement of plastic. Anyway, every experience you seem to have – whether it appears to be so-called spiritual or mundane – is processed in the machinery of the brain, so no matter where it is perceived to come from, it is a fabrication of the brain. In other words, all experiences are speculations.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, so if you know what it is, you are mistaken.

The enlightenment of that which is one, however, is not something you can experience. It is not something at all. In the context of something it is nothing, because the brain cannot process formlessness into something experienced.

In reality though the enlightenment of that which is one is everything, because it merges the nothingness of you with the formlessness of oneness, and what is formless is endless and therefore everything, contrary to anything experienced – whether it seems to be so-called spiritual or mundane – which is nothing, because it takes more than one to experience something and there is no more than that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be seen

The enlightenment of that which is one is not a way back to non-duality, because there is no way back, as you have never left it. This is what the enlightenment of that which is one reveals, namely that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. To get a sense of the enlightenment of that which is one, you must empty yourself for any idea of what it is. And then again, doing so will not help, as it will enhance the belief, that you are an autonomously being who is able to do something specific – and it is due to this belief that the enlightenment of that which is one seems to be hidden. So do not try to implement the following in what you believe to be, but let it assist you in having this belief undone.

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to a door to oneness, but just like a door in a house has nothing to do with what is in it, the enlightenment of that which is one is not the same as oneness.

This door, however, is not in a world where there seems to be more than one – this includes astral planes and anything else conceivable – because the experience of something is a thought construction, and there is nobody in the enlightenment of that which is one to construct anything. Neither is the door located in oneness. It has no doors, as it requires more than one that one to have a door or something at all.

No worries. That which is you is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like – in the context of such a world – you are not in the world of a video game, even though it may feel as if you are because of the reactions you seem to have while pretending to be there. These reactions, however, are not caused by the world in the game – it has no such power – but how you choose to perceive it. In other words, the experience of being someone in virtual world is an experience fabricated by yourself.

Likewise the feeling of being in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fabrication, and just like the fabrication of your participation in a video game is made while you actually appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, so is the feeling of being there imagined while that which is you is actually in that which is one.

There is nothing outside of non-duality, neither inside, because non-duality is formless and therefore without any sides. This does not mean that non-duality is nothing, as what is formless is endless and therefore everything. The animation is grabbed from the web.

This does not mean that oneness is nothing, because what is formless is endless and therefore everything. In Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings it is often said that non-duality or the formlessness of that which is one is real, but such a statement is also part of duality. For something to be real, there must be something outside of it that is unreal, and as non-duality is formless and therefore endless, there is nothing outside of it.

In other words, though Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings point to that which is real, it is not pointing to something at all, because there is nothing outside of non-duality, as it is everything.

And then again, it is not exactly so. That which is you is not imagining to be in a world where there seems to be more than one while actually being in that which is one, because it takes more than one to imagine something, so it is not possible. For the same reason it is not possible to be in the that which is one. No worries. It is not necessary, because there is no difference between that which is you and that which is one.

The above is therefore just a metaphor to explain, what cannot be explained, because that which is one is formless and therefore endless – meaning there is nothing outside of it. In other words, a world defined by time and space is an illusion.

Nevertheless for some unexplainable reason you experience to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, and so in the context of this experience, the enlightenment of that which is one is the door out of it, because it undoes all experiences.

This door can also be compared to a hand gently comforting a child, who has a nightmare. Feeling a touch of comfort the conditioned ways of reacting to the dream* is temporarily forgotten, so it fades out, and nothing definable seems to hide the undefinable reality on oneness.

That being said you cannot compare the enlightenment of that which is one to anything in a world defined by time and space, because any comparison is based on the past and as time is viewed in a linear way it seems to hide, there is nothing but one perpetual present.


*) At this point somebody may ask, who is it that has conditioned the child? The answer is nobody. There is no child. It is an illusion, and those in the illusion asking apparent clever questions like this are doing it for one reason only, namely to make themselves as somebody definitive appear to be real.

There is no end to that which is you, as it is not different from oneness, which is formless and therefore endless

Everything definable has an end, so if you believe to be someone definitive you are gonna end, but if that belief is undone, so that there is not something to hide the undeniable, namely the formlessness of that which is you, there is no end, because what is formless is sizeless and therefore endless. If this belief on the other hand is undone, there is nothing to hide the undefinable, namely the formlessness of that which is you, and so there is no end, as what is formless is endless. You cannot become anything else than that which you already is, as that is no different from the formlessness of that which is one and what is formless is endless, so there is no more than that which is you.

Yet it is possible to imagine a world where there seems to be more than one and where everything is defined by time and space, so that it appears as if there is more to become and have than the formlessness of that which is one. In this a construction of thoughts, however, it is not possible to fabricate an experience of the enlightenment of that which is one, because it is formless and only what appears to be dimensional can be used in a construction of thoughts.

The enlightenment of that which is one resets all construction of thoughts – or rather the belief that there is someone making them – so that thoughts do not appear to have the power to hide, there is no more than that which is one. But this you do not even experience, because just like that the whole world including angels, astral planes and you as someone definitive is edited out. Hence there is nobody to experience anything – and that is why someone definitive cannot know what the enlightenment of that which is one is.

Awareness hides the formlessness of oneness.

In other words, the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one excludes the enlightenment of that which is one, which on the other hand does not exclude anything, as it takes more than one to do so. For the same reason  a world where there seems to be more than one is not to be seen in the enlightenment of that which is one, neither is anything else.

Even though the enlightenment of that which is one undoes the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, it is still possible to return to a world fabricated by such a belief – just like, in the context of such a world, you return to it after having had a nap. This is not to be understood as the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to falling asleep. It may ´happen´ in a deep sleep, as Buddha supposedly have said. For Alexius, however, the visual aspect of it occurred after a long night of intensive taxi driving, when he was very young.

Most likely he was too tired to remember what and where he was, so there was nobody to fight the destruction of the world and the appearance of him as someone definitive there, neither nobody to follow the flow into that which is one. See the article I am the destroyer of worlds.

To forget what and where you are is not about stopping thoughts, as that will enhance the belief in being someone definitive. It is rather about not believing thoughts to be yours, because when there is nothing to define you as someone definitive there is nobody to follow the flow into the formlessness of that which is one.

This is how it got to be, because you have never been someone definitive. That which is you is the formlessness of oneness, and as formlessness is endless there is nothing else.

The enlightenment of that which is one versus glimpses of it

You know this pic is not how the physically world really look. It is rather a fantasy, thar is only possible due to physical life, that it therefore is a symbol of. Likewise the physical world is a symbol of life even though the physical world has nothing to do with life.

We let ourselves be deceived by the outer senses into believing, that a world where everything seems to be separated by time and space is real, but when these senses are turned inwards there is no time and space, and therefore nothing to uphold the belief in separation, neither in the appearance of you as someone definitive.

Without the belief in separation there is not something to hide, that the abstractness of the inner senses flows straight into an explosion coming out of a black hole or maybe into it. There is no way to know which way it is, because this is the enlightenment of that which is one and it takes more than one to know anything. Also, explosion may not be the best word to use, because it is nothing but empty space that is carrying the nothingness of you into to the formlessness of that which is one. End of story or what?

The formlessness of that which is one is endless
This is not the end of the story, because what is formless is endless – not in the sense though that it last forever. It lasts no time but one perpetual present. This a never-ending story, however, cannot be written in a world defined by time and space, because there everything has an end. In terms of end though returning to the formlessness of that which is one is the end of time and space – at least that is how it seems within the context of linear time.

Researches from University of California Santa Barbara have proved that human cells and neutron stars have something in common. Both are namely built of layers – looking like a parking garage with many floors that are connected via steps.

But as there is nothing else than one perpetual present, the only thing that ends is the imagination of a world defined by time and space. Yet reading this article you still believe in this imagination of a tangible world constructed of layer upon layer of thoughts, added in such a way that it seems there are different levels in this capsule of time and space. Within this context it also seems as if there are levels of turning the outer senses inwards, and that the more the inner senses take over the more you occur to have glimpses of enlightenment.

It is a relief, when glimpses of enlightenment slowly but surely undoes the belief in being someone definitive – but very unsettling if you want to hang onto this belief.

These glimpses, however, are not the enlightenment of that which is one, because there are no levels in that which is one. Nevertheless they slowly but surely undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one, contrary to the enlightenment of that which is one, where – as it is timeless – it takes no time to have this belief undone.

The timelessness of that which is one, however, cannot be brought into a world defined by time and space, so you will not be able to know what it is, if you experience to reappear in such a world after having bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

Yet you will have vague memories of it, and that is enough to constantly be reminded, there is no more than that which is one, and consequently all experiences – whether they seem to be so-called spiritual or mundane – are illusions, as it takes more than one to experience something.

Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one are experienced with the inner senses, while being aware of the world of the outer sense as well – although it seems quite distant.

But to bid the enlightenment of that which is one welcome the outer senses must be completely closed. In other words, there are no awareness of the world of the outer senses and after entering the enlightenment of that which is one there is neither no awareness of the inner senses. In fact there is no awareness at all, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

To sum it up: When partially turning off the outer senses, the inner senses is only partly triggered, so you just have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which is an experience you have while still aware of appearing to be someone in the world of the outer senses.

These glimpses can be compared to watching a movie trailer and not the whole movie – but then again it is not really so, because both the trailer and the movie is something you experience, and the enlightenment of that which is one, that is bid welcome by completely turning off the inner senses, cannot be experienced.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not a personal experience, but glimpses of it is
The technique for tasting the nectar of life (see the previous article Perceiving the world as symbols of the four aspects of enlightenment – or how to have glimpses of enlightenment) I like to do during the day – not so much for the taste of it, but for the sphere of indifference, that it just like the empty breath* induces.

Being indifferent I am not distracted from going with the flow of the ongoing glimpses of the enlightenment, whenever I am not dealing with something that craves much attention in the world of the outer senses – and if I am involved in something that demands much attention, the indifference towards it makes sure that the perception of it is founded on glimpses of the enlightenment. In other words, the world is experienced, but not as if I am there. It is more like sitting in a cinema and imagining to be in the world on the screen.

Depending on the strength of the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, it is like momentarily dying from the world of the outer senses, so if you appear to be occupied by something there, it can be very disturbing.

Glimpses of ethereal harmonies comes and go as they please. In the case of Alexius he enjoys to wake up in the morning accompanied by the distant sound of ethereal harmonies, but when he at night closes his eyes to fall asleep, the ongoing spirals of light, which are brighter than the light from his lamps and keeps coming, distracts him from falling asleep. 

During the day there are also glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, mostly in the form of short splashes of lucid light and hearing or feeling the vibration, that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises.

Besides there are vague memories of passing both the outer and inner senses into the enlightenment of that which is one, where all thoughts and feelings collected to justify the belief in a world defined by time and space is extracted, so that there is no belief to hide that which has no beginning or end and therefore is everything, namely the formlessness of oneness.

This image of the same mountain, as in the other images in this article, again shows that you can have many different glimpses to have of it, and that they are all coloured by the one having the glimpses. The Enlightenment of that which is one is not coloured by the one having it, because there is not somebody having it. It is not possible to experience it, as that would require more than one. In other words, there is nothing personal about the enlightenment of that which is one. Yet, describing it via vague memories it is like everything else, where more than one seems to be involved, coloured by the personality of the describer as well by the one interpreting the description. Trying to make something last only appears to be meaningful in a world, where everything has an end
Glimpses of enlightenment, which most confuses with the enlightenment of that which is one, may leave you with the impression, that it is possible to fuse heaven and earth by prolonging the glimpses via meditation or other kinds of techniques, that seems to make you able to transform energies in such a way that heaven and earth merge.

The idea of heaven and hell is an idea based on duality, which is founded on contrasts like that. And as you cannot have one without the other, you can never have only heaven in a world of duality. Neither in non-duality, because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be in heaven.

This idea of a better world is founded on the belief, that you are someone special, who is in control and able to create a world like you see fit. Though neither dictators, rich people, political or so-called spiritual minded persons have ever succeeded in creating a world. the way they think it should be, many assume it is something in themselves or others that need to be corrected for it to happen. But no matter how much you correct, all that you get are more frustrations, because there is nothing to correct but the belief that you are someone definitive.

Whether you experience, that you are free in the now, spiritual or whatnot, it is echoes of past conditioning, that you hold onto with the sole purpose of being someone special in a world defined by time and space.

Instead of having this belief undone most, who have had one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, start teaching how to make the world better – as if there is a world to make better. They put together a new philosophy based on their interpretation of one or more glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, mixed up with speculative ideas about spirituality and maybe ancient traditions of meditation and whatnot. They may for example encourage not being conditioned, so that you can be free in the now. But the experience of that or anything else is based on the conditioned belief, that you are someone defined by time and space.

You freely choose to give Facebook all your info in exchange for being able to construct a personality in its virtual world, as if this construction constitutes a real person.

Time and space is not a fact, but a belief system, that you blindly follow. You choose to be conditioned by it, so that it seems to be a fact, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space instead of the formlessness of that which is one.

As it takes more than one to have a vision, no matter how impressive your inner visions of light may be, they are not the enlightenment of that which is one but glimpses of it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outer senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling it. But if those senses are turned inwards instead, the enlightenment of that which is one is revealed through seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it.

And then again it is not exactly like this, because the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced at all, since it takes more than one to experience something.

Someone, who believes to be definable, cannot gracefully fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one. Yet someone who believes to be definable can learn how to have this belief undone.

Yet the entrance to the enlightenment of that which is one, which is a hole that sometimes is black and other times full of lucid colours, is something that can be experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting/smelling it. This is not the enlightenment of that which is one though but glimpses of it coming through the ´hole´ leading into it. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole.

Having visual glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one can to be an experience of travelling through lucid worlds with ever-changing flashes of light. The moment those flashes of light are not perceived to differ from each other, there is no separation to define you as someone definitive anymore.

When you play a game, you may forget where you actually are. One of the ways to remember it is to undo the knowledge of what and where you appear to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As that means there is nobody experiencing anything, there is not someone to fight that the construction of thoughts which seem to have replaced the formlessness of that which is one with someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one is abruptly extracted by the extremely bright white light, that the glimpses have turned into without you being aware of it, as none of this is not happening in linear time but in one perpetual present.

In other words, everything you ever have believed to be is gone without you knowing it or having any memory of ever having believed to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more, because there is no experience to hide that which always has been and always will be, since it is formless and therefore endless, namely that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced
Most, however, work against the flow enlightenment, which is done by defining what there seem to be to see, hear, feel or taste as something that is similar to past experiences, so that the enlightenment of that which is one is fragmented into more than one, wherefore the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is not undone.

And as the enlightenment of that which is one cannot be bid welcome without having this belief undone for just one moment, you only had glimpses of it, and therefore do not know what it is.

If you for a moment forget what and where you appear to be, there is not someone hiding the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is not of a world where there seems to be more than one, someone believing to be there cannot be enlightened. But if you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, there is not a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the enlightenment of that which is one.

Returning from the enlightenment of that which is one as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are not enlightened, because enlightenment is not something definitive. Yet, there are vague memories of the enlightenment of that which is one, so you are to be compared to it.

This, however, would have been the same result if the belief in being someone definitive momentarily had been undone, because then there is not someone to know the enlightenment of that which is one. In other words, what you believe to be can never be enlightened. Yet it is possible to momentarily forget what and where you are, so that there is nothing for the enlightenment of that which is one to gracefully transport through a hole that is not there into the formlessness of that which is one.

What you believe to be is therefore not enlightened, so if returning as someone definitive to a world where there seems to be more than one, you are just the same – except that vague memories of that which is one turn being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one into something you pretend to be, because you know there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Hence you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is comparable to a movie trailer, which is just a glimpse of a whole movie, and therefore not to be confused with the whole one.

To round off, as the enlightenment of that which is one has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example traveling through lucid worlds of light – has a beginning and an end. If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you seem to see an ´E´ here, you are focusing in order to see something recognisable, so that you can hide the empty space by imagining there is something there. The empty space is not the formlessness of that which is one, but when you do not imagined a world defined by time and space to be there, no elements of matter are experienced to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Partial devotion to the inner senses results in glimpses of enlightenment
In order to experience that you are someone substantial in a world defined by time and space, constant focus on something specific is required for the outer senses to fabricate the depth needed to make the experience appear dimensional – otherwise the outer senses cannot fabricate this illusion.

So the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outer senses is complemented with the abstract world of the inner senses, where you are bid welcome by glimpses of light, if you are visual minded, ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and the taste or feeling of that which is one in case you are emotional minded.*

The purpose of the inner senses and its glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is to attract you to such an extent, that you cannot help yourself but to have them undo the belief that it is possible to be someone definitive, even though it means the end of what you believe to be – just like a moth cannot help but to follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is gonnal be the end of it.

The idea of mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music for example, as this will imply they are separated. Just welcome whatever glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one, that seems to come your way. Never try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it after a while changes into another aspect of the enlightenment of that which is one, go with that.

What you believe to be is a hallucination, that seems to cover the enlightenment of that which is one – also if you believe to be spiritual, because any belief requires more than one.

These glimpses are, as already stated, not the enlightenment of that which is one, since it has no room for someone with an awareness, as that requires more than one. This does not mean that the person you believe to be is replaced by the enlightenment of that which is one, but that whatever you believe to be is an illusion.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inner senses is just a side effect, that helps you not to care about physicality and its inevitable end.

The inner senses and the body
Devotion to the inner senses will heal your body, if that is not the purpose of it. It may not include genetic caused diseases though. But as devotion to the inner senses calms the body, a genetic caused disease will not seem to generate fear, which otherwise may further damage the body, if projected upon it (see the hack No Body-mind Connection in Extra duality Hacks about the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection).

When, however, the wellbeing of the body is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inner senses, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inner senses, since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inner senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one
Total devotion to the inner senses bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, that right away erases all memories of you being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. As you are not there anymore, there is no way of knowing how long time this takes.

When the enlightenment of that which is one lasts less than 28 minutes – measured in linear time – the body, that appeared to be your home as someone definitive, can be rebooted, so that you again appear to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, you will, as already stated, not appear to be enlightened, as that is not an appearance. Thus you seem to be just like any other human, even though you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

But if the enlightenment of that which is one last longer than 28 minutes, the body cannot be rebooted, and as the belief that you are someone definitive therefore cannot be confirmed by the experience of being substantial, there is nothing to hide the formlessness of that which is one and that it is no different from that which always has been and always will be you. There is of course nobody to be aware of this, since it takes more than one to be aware about something.

The appearance of you as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication constructed from thoughts, where some are chosen to be included, as if they are that which is you, and others are excluded, as if they are not you but somebody else. By not excluding specific thoughts but including them all, you become everything and you also lose the appearance of being someone specific, because there are no excluded thoughts to define you as someone definitive. In other words, inclusion excludes what is not real, so there is nothing but the formlessness of that which is you. Enlightenment of that which is one does the same, and so do the other ´ways´ suggested in my non teachings. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The appearance of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, is a fabrication of thoughts. The ones you judge to be good are chosen to be included and the ones judged as bad ones to be excluded. The excluded ones produce what you consider others to be and what you are not, so if no thoughts are excluded, there is nobody to define you as separated from others. Inclusion therefore excludes what is not real, namely separation, so that there is not something to hide there is no more than that which is one. Bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one has the same result, and so does the implementation of the other ´ways´ of coming back to that which is one suggested in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings.

Is the enlightenment of that which is one required to have the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone?
The enlightenment of that which is one can be said to be the last step to the formlessness of oneness, but as formlessness is endless, you have never left it, so there is no step back to it, and therefore no need to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one in anyone of its aspects, or to have glimpses of it*.

Neither do you have to be connected with the empty breath or devote yourself to the inner senses in order to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone. It can undone while enjoying the world of the outer senses. In the below box there are some suggestions of how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses to not make a difference, the more the outer senses function as a set-off to that which is one (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment and hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive and hack #1.6 Pretending is a way out of duality) or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality and hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

But you do not even need Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings to have this belief undone. All what is needed is to not remember what and where you are, since that means there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of that which is one.


There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that multitasking leaves them with no time to suppress anger and other feelings, that destroys the perfect image of themselves as somebody at peace, full of love and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping specific feelings hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of their contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus it is just as blissful loving somebody as to hate them. See also Love makes no difference at all.

Be aware though, that to be in the bliss of indifference, instead of the consciousness of being someone definitive, you must be willing to be nobody.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one before you give up seeing something specific, and there is an abrupt shift to the enlightenment of that which is one, that extracts all the info you have collected in order to appear as someone definitive and leave it at the edge of what appears to be a black hole, so that there is nothing falling through it and gracefully floating into the formlessness of that which is one. You do not know how fast this is happening, because you are no more and have no conscious of ever having been anybody, because there is nothing but that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted – or that you know how to find it again – which is simply is to go with the flow of fear. And yes, there is also fear in that which is one. No worries. It cannot be experienced there. That is not possible, since it would require more than one. It is, however, possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be part of world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Multitasking the inner and outer senses
Much devotion to the world of the inner senses may space you out in regards to the present moment in the world of the outer senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you just go with the flow of the inner senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But if you want to go on appearing as someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is of course best to totally focus on the world of the outer senses, so that the abstractness of the inner world does not interfere with your plans for having more money, power, love, life, energy and whatnot.

Should you, however, become tired of the race for more, you multitask between the inner and outer senses, so that being loaded with glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses make you indifferent to the constant demand for more in the world of the outer senses.

If you do not want the belief in being someone definitive to be abruptly undone by the enlightenment of that which is one, multitasking between the inner and outer senses may be the approach for you, as that allows you to have this belief undone in a pleasant pace while having a good time pretending to be what you are not.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain, so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why, it is very helpful in regards to having the belief in being someone definitive undone  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outer senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath.

When you are multitasking the world of the inner and outer senses with the help of the empty breath thoughts are not considered to be yours, so nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

The empty breath automatically synchronise the outer and the inner senses, so that everything feels just fine, nothing is wrong or missing. This is not the purpose of the empty breath though. Its purpose is to undo the belief in being someone definitive, but this is a lot easier not fighting to survive as someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outer senses
Those not connected with the empty breath are often tempted to skip the part of having the belief in being someone specific undone and instead use their own special blend of the outer and inner senses as the means to fabricate their special version of paradise.

The purpose of this often is to establish themselves as a spiritual helper, but as there only is somebody to help, when you believe in separation, your so-called compassion and help enhances the suffering that this belief entails (see the article Coming from the heart is denial of that which is one). Besides there is no paradise without hell, since a world where there seems to be more than one can only be experienced through contrasts.

It is common to think, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Yet you do not appear as someone specific in a world where there seem to be more than one to find more, but to see there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one.

So instead of using the glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one to establish an image of yourself as a new messiah full of love and light, which has been in fashion for the gurus since the 70s, use the vitalization you have gotten from them to not hide but expose the frustration the endless speculation that the belief in be someone definitive entails, so that the energy of chaos can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath.

The moment you have no need give or receive help or support, the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone.

As the inner senses operates on a very high frequency speedy thoughts and feelings seem to be at rest there. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connection with the empty breath automatically synchs the outer and inner senses, and as the latter are operating at an extreme high frequency, the restless speculations in the low-frequency world of the outer senses do not seem to cause confusion but relaxation, and so the apparent differences of the world experienced with the outer senses slowly cease to make a difference. Thus the foundation for the belief in separation fades out, and so there is nobody to imagine that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you are do not feel the empty breath multitasking connects you with it.

A perfect moment is a state of not-knowing
Having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one is a perfect moment in the sense that nothing feels wrong. As there is no sense of anything having a beginning or end, it may last longer than the concept of now, which is just a split second in between the past and the future. In other words, the concept of now is based on excluding the past and the future, where as a perfect moment includes that and everything else.

When differences are not perceived to make a difference, the foundation for the belief in separation is gone. So everything outside of you is inside of you, where is nothing since without an outside there is no inside. In other words, if you do not return from this state of not-knowing to a world where there seems to be more than one, there is nothing to hide there is no more than that which is one. Hence it makes no difference if there are thoughts about the past, the future or anything else while having glimpses of enlightenment. In fact the most distinctive feature of a perfect moment is that the apparent differences of the world are not perceived to make a difference. Not so much because there is no judgment, but because there is nobody to judge anything, since you are in a state of not-knowing.

That is why, it is not before this state is over, that you know when differences are not perceived to make a difference, you are not experienced to be separated and so there is nobody to judge something as good or wrong.

Since differences are not perceived to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, nobody cares if the bliss of it should differ from one state of not-knowing to another.

Having glimpses of enlightenment you momentarily do not believe to be someone definitive. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing. This state of bliss**, however, I can be induced by any one of the duality hacks, except for the enlightenment of that which is one, since that is not a state. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This state of not-knowing is not only induced by glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one but by the application of any other duality hack (see the table of contents) except for the enlightenment of that which is one, as that is not a state, since it takes more than one to be in a state.

Be happy if you cannot overcome the hopelessness that seems to blow you away when not in a state of not-knowing, because when you are blown away a state of not-knowing returns.

And as nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts, the latter is the reason a state of not-knowing does not last. The brain simple goes into coma, if it for more than 20 minutes, 45 minutes at the most, is not kept active by judging differences to make a difference.***

So if you want to remain as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you must leave the bliss of a perfect moment. But you must also leave it, if you do not want to return as someone definitive but bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because there is no room for bliss or anything else in that which is one.

Being alone together is based on the realisation that the power behind every experience you seem to have is you, regardless it is interpreted as spiritual, mundane or whatnot. Since the apparent differences in what is normally perceived to be a world outside of you is not perceived to make a difference when in a state of not-knowing and as that applies to whatever seems to be inside of what normally is believed to be you, inside and outside is the same – or rather there is no inside and outside or any other contrasts to define you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

You are alone together having a fantasy about being someone special in a world where there seems to be more than one. But no matter what seems to be happening in that fantasy, you are not in it – just like within the context of this fantasy a dreamer is not in its dream although the dream is in the dreamer.****

This you cannot know before you have left a state of not-knowing, and memories starts popping up of how blissful it is to not believe you are someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.**

There may also be memories of the transition, which can be quite claustrophobic, as there is nobody to project your troubles and sorrows on, since there is nothing but the tight unit of you. But as soon as you start feeling the peace that comes from not feeling disturbed by anybody, this unit is not tight anymore. In fact it is not there at all, because you do not believe to be someone definitive.

When the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one is not perceived to make a difference, you are not separated from what you experience to be a world outside of you. In other words, you are alone together with your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one – and since this is how you imagine to have left the formlessness of oneness, you can reverse this and return to that which you never left, since formlessness is endless. As you probably read in the paragraph before this one, you got to leave a state of not-knowing pretty soon, if you want to remain as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Neither can you stay in this state, if you do not want to return to the fantasy of being someone definitive but to the formlessness of oneness, as being in any kind of state requires more than one.

Staying true to being alone together**** this is not a dilemma, because from this follows you never have been in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like a dreamer within the context of such a world you are in your own bed, which in this context is a metaphor for that which is one. And since oneness is formless and therefore without beginning and end, you have never left it.

A body forgotten is an invitation to the enlightenment of that which is one

Your body, that seems to be opaque, consists of 1% energy and 99% empty space. In other words, to believe you are somebody is an illusion. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Your body, that seems to be opaque, consists of empty space according to science. In other words, you must be dreaming, if you perceive yourself to be tangible. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is one does not illuminate anything. It is so bright that there is nothing to see. Besides it requires more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one, as what is formless is endless. In other words, if you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one you do not exist, and you know it is so. Why else have everybody throughout history asked the same question: Who am I?

Through ideas of love and friendship you create the illusion, that you are someone definitive, who is part of a world with someone else especially for you.

You make yourself appear to be real by for example searching for who you are, as this implies you are someone definitive, or by working for the survival of you, or simple by doing whatever is necessary to feel part of something, so there appear to be a tangible world around you, that seems to acknowledge the existence of you as someone definitive.

It is the tension, that comes from always doing something to be acknowledged as someone tangible, which seems to hold the body together as a unit defined by time and space. But the more the body is hold together the more the enlightenment of that which is one is fenced out.

When the defenses of the body is down, there does not seem to be someone definitive to hide the hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The defences of the body breaks down when being in love and/or being loved, so even though love is just as virtual as the body, it is very helpful in order to break down the defences against the enlightenment of that which is one. It does not matter what is loved – it may be sunshine, wine, a pet, a person, a god or whatever. As long as you stick to the love, whether it seems to be returned or not, it will make the body feel good – and feeling good its defences are down, so it does not fight being pushed aside in order to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not full of love
The above should not be understood as the enlightenment of that which is one is full of love. Using love to break down the barriers to the enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to using a drilling machine to make in a hole in a wall. When the hole is done it is empty. The drilling machine is not there. Likewise love is not in the enlightenment of that which is one. It is empty.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced, as it takes more than one to experience something. Only the body can be experienced, but what can be is experienced is not one and what is not one is not real.

Neither should it be understood, as you must break down all the defences of the body. It needs them to defend itself against various kinds of sickness. In terms of the enlightenment of that which is one a healthy body is good. Not in the sense though that the body needs to be healthy for the enlightenment of that which is one to be received, as a body cannot receive it. A body has to go, and if it seems healthy, you are not occupied by saving it and therefore free to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one without any concern for the body.

Please be aware that the explanations in this article are done within the context of the world. There is of course no way a body can stop the enlightenment of that which is one. The body is an illusion, and illusions have no power to stop anything. The only problem is that you believe this illusion is real. It is your belief, that blocks out the enlightenment of that which is one – and only in the context of this belief does it make sense, as in the above to talk about the body and love as a solution for breaking down its defences.

Defocus is the end of you as someone definitive

It is very easy to write Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, because they write themselves. Alexius just have to hit the right keys. Before doing that, however, he may have had a hard time coming to the point of for example being able to write about dying from the world as described in the below box:

When you perceive everything, that can be experienced, as symbols of that which is life, to focus on something becomes a symbol of life. Consequently to focus on what is not real in order to make it appear as if it is, leads to defocusing, because when everything is perceived as a symbol of the same, their apparent differences do not make a difference.

Without focus the world cannot be experienced, neither you as a person in it, and so there is nothing to see. No forms appears to hide the formlessness of that which is life.

The above box summarises a very long night long time ago, where Alexius was on the edge of dying, and where for several days after the feeling of the body was replaced by an electrified humming often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. To make long short, as someone definable, you must always be willing to die, so that there is not something definable appearing to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

This is not meant to be understood as the body must be terminated, because that would imply it is real. It is the belief, that you are someone definable, that must be undone.

Nothing can stop you on Highway One except your belief in a world where there seems to be more than one

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When my cats are at sleep, they sometimes dream about horrifying things – at least that is how it seems to me, when I see their sudden movements. Likewise it seems to the oneness of life, that we are having a dream about something very frightening. But just like I cannot see the dreams of my cats, life cannot see, that we are dreaming about being and having more than the oneness of life by constantly taking something from outside of us in a world where life seems to be divided in more than one.

Even though life senses, we are dreaming about a world where there seems to be more than one, as to fear something requires more than one, it cannot wake us up to reality of that which is one, as it probably is too scary to suddenly see that what we appear to be in the dream – no matter if it seems spiritual or whatnot – is not real, so life tries to comfort us, while it sweetly whispers in our ears: Come home.

This whisper is heard or felt in the dream as an unpronounceable humming often symbolised by the word Aum or Sohang. If this humming makes you open your eyes for just one second, you will not see the world you are dreaming about but a light much stronger than anything in the dream. An atomic bomb seems to be nothing compared to this force of light, which does not illuminate something, and is neither opaque or transparent, but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so Alexius only has vague memories of it.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The enlightenment of that which is one sucks out all the thoughts you have collected to establish an image of you as someone definitive. This construction of thoughts is left at the edge of a black hole, so there is nothing to fall/float through it into the formlessness of that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening, if you still consider yourself as someone definable. No worries, if you want to return to world defined by time and space all you need to do is to pick up the thought construction at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the journey through the black hole to something else. In this way the journey becomes definable, and that is only possible in a definable world. In other words, you appear to be back in a world defined by time and space. Just one thing: You have to return within 28 minutes (measured in linear time) otherwise it is too late to reboot the body. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Without further notice this light relentlessly and most powerfully smashes every definable feature, that makes up your identity in the dream of a world, where life seems to be divided in more than one. If you do not believe, this identity is that which is you, you will not fear obliteration and the free fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one.

But if you are attached to being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you fear becoming formless, and to prevent it you objectify the fear by justifying it as if it caused by a force that wants to destroy you, so that the fear becomes a tangible form, which seems powerful enough to smash the enlightenment of that which is one into definable pieces. In this way the formlessness of oneness is escaped, so you can appear to be someone special in a world, where there life seems to be divided in more than one.

Some claim, they out of compassion for others return to a world where there seems to be more than, but that is solely the ego talking. Life is the formlessness of that which is one, so a world where life seems to be divided in more than one is an illusion.

Actually there is nothing to fear in that which is one, because it takes more than one to fear something. But imagining to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it always seems as if there is something to fear. To appear as someone definitive you must constantly exclude what is judged not to be you, and as that is done by projecting what you dislike onto others or obscure parts of your body, you fear the retaliation from others or your body.

That which is one has no power to destroy anything, as that requires more than one.

But when not excluding anything in order to appear as someone great in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no reason to fear the death of being someone definitive and as nothing falling out of the dream into the reality of that which is one.

The unenlightened twists everything they hear or read about oneness and the enlightenment of that which is one into something, that appears to make them someone special in the world instead of not someone at all.

As there is no more than that which is one and as it requires more than one choosing to wake up – or choosing anything at all – it is not possible to wake up. You reading this article is also not possible, neither me writing it. That which we is, is not in the dream called the world. You could say it is dreaming it. Yet speaking about a dream is only a metaphor to describe that which is not real. In other words, there is no dream. There is no more than one perpetual present.

The most exciting aspect of ´the empty breath´, namely indifference, is not exciting but liberating

The empty breath can be felt in many exciting ways, but its most exciting way is actually not exciting, because you hardly feel it, as due to the indifference of the empty breath the apparent differences of the world is not perceived to make a difference, and so the foundation for separation is gone. The empty breath can be felt in many exciting ways. The most exciting way though cannot be felt, because it is not a feeling, but indifference to the apparent differences experienced in a world defined by time and space and thus to the foundation of feeling anything, namely separation. Physically speaking the empty breath is best felt when air is coming in and out through the nose. Yet not as if it is you who do the breathing, but as if it is an ´engine´ inside the body that first expands the abdomen, secondly the belly and lastly the chest. Then a short break before it goes the other way around in order to contract the body. And on and on. It feels like there is hardly any air coming in and out of the nose but that the breath remains within the body all the time.

Please be aware, that this is not a factual description of how breathing is carried out when the empty breath is in the driving seat, but a description of how it feels. It is not something you should try replicate by doing deep breaths and whatnot. In fact it has nothing to do with you taking a deep breath, as the whole concept of the empty breath is that you do nothing.

Doing Nordic Walking – or rather following the flow of it – may help you in being able not to do something. It may also help you to expose the defence mechanisms, that you have built up in the body against going with the flow of the empty breath.

It is probably not the connection itself with  a Fitbit watch, for example, that excites you, but how it motivates you to exercise and consequently feel more comfortable inside a body. Likewise it is not necessarily the connection with the empty breath that makes you feel good, but that its indifference undoes the belief, it is possible to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. When you are connected with a Fitbit watch for example, you do not get an exceptional feeling from the connection itself, but rather from the data you are receiving. Likewise you probably do not feel excited, when you are connected with the empty breath, as its radiance of indifference makes you indifferent to the apparent differences in a world defined by time and space. But as this makes it impossible established separation to be real, there does not seem to be anybody feeling anything, which is pure bliss.

Yet it is not important to undo all these defence mechanisms. Having the willingness to do so is enough to feel the connection with the empty breath.* Neither is it important in which of the ways described in the previous article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, that you feel it, or if it is felt in another way.

Though these ways of feeling the empty breath definitely are very exciting, the most exciting way to feel it – or rather not feeling it – is simply to follow its consistent flow of indifference. Since that makes you indifferent to the apparent differences in the world where you appear to be, there does not seem to be anybody feeling anything but the bliss from being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

+(+++) What is ´the empty breath´ about?

Everything fabricated – like for example this illustration of an yin yang sign – is supposed to have a special appearance, so that the experience of it supplies the belief, that you are somebody special. But this is not the purpose of the empty breath. On the contrary. Its purpose is to undo the belief, that you are someone at all, which it does by helping you seeing, that the apparent differences in the world do not make a difference, so it does not matter whether anything appears perfect or not. If you want to occur as if you are somebody important in the low-frequency world of the outer senses you must appear to be perfect. But as there is nothing important to be in the high frequency world of the inner senses, no perfection is needed there – neither to feel the empty breath. All what is needed to feel it, while appearing to be in the world of the outer senses, is that you have no intention of making a difference.

When people tell you to slow down and relax via mindfulness and whatnot, they take away your only way to be laid-back, because that comes from speeding up thoughts and feelings until you feel so confused, that you stop trying to control them and therefore no longer are preventing them from igniting a take off to ´the empty breath´, that synchronise the low-frequency world of the outer senses with the high frequency world of the inner senses, so that speedy thoughts and feelings are not felt to cause stress but tranquility.

Whatever seems to disturb you in the low-frequency world of the outer senses will not seem stressful, when the empty breath synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses. Thus you slowly but surely become indifferent to your interpretation of right and wrong.

Once connected with the empty breath – even just for a split second – what you believe to be is undone and the nothingness of you is included in its nothingness, so no matter if you remember it or whatever you seem to think, feel or do, it remains with you. In other words, forgetting the empty breath does not change anything, except that you do not feel the transparent bliss of its indifference until you again ignite a take-off to it.

At times you may feel so angry, that you do not want to be guided by the empty breath, because you know it will make you indifferent to those you blame for having caused the anger, so you actively override its flow* in order to make sure, that they will be punished.

But since we receive what we give, it is you who suffers from the punishment (read more about that here). That is until you have had enough of manipulating the world into what you judge to be right and instead use your frustrations of what seems to be wrong to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference
The nature of the empty breath is not happiness but indifference, and as this releases you from the boundaries of a world defined by time and space, it may feel as if you are in a merry-go-round world.

The empty breath is indifferent to differences, so if you do not fence it off by trying to exclude what you judge as negative in order to appear as if you are only positive, whatever you seem to feel will be interpreted by the indifference of the empty breath. Consequently feeling happy or sad is the same. Not in the sense that happiness and sadness feels the same, but in the sense that the apparent difference makes no difference.

But feelings never lasts, so if you hang onto pleasant feelings instead of going with the flow of being indifferent to feelings, your merry-go-round world will be replaced by its contrast, which is sadness But this is only so, because you mistook the empty breath for the giver of happiness instead of indifference, so if you stick with the latter, it makes no difference if you feel happy or sad, which is very blissful.

The swing of the inner breath may be experienced abruptly – like in this animation but probably a lot slower – in a s body with muscles problems from for example psoas or diafragma. There is no reason though trying to make it swing more smoothly by improving the condition of the body. The inner breath always adjust itself to the current condition of the body, so no matter how it moves it results in the same joy, providing you are not looking to be perfect.

In a sick body the swing of the empty breath may be experienced to come in bursts – a bit like in this animation but probably slower. But no matter how restricted the swing of it is experienced, the connection with it will always entail indifference, so if you stick with that the way it is experienced makes no difference. Reasons for not feeling the empty breath
Not feeling the swing of the empty breath may be due to trying too much, focussing on it, or assuming the experience of it will make you feel something special. In these cases you are trying to fabricate a specific feeling yourself, wherefore forever changing connectedness with the empty breath cannot be sensed.

The same applies, if you try to override it* by taking a deep breath, shortening, pushing or holding back your breath every now and then, so there is time enough to make plans by yourself, and thus be established as an autonomous creature with a will of its own.

Basically there is only one reason for not feeling the empty breath, namely that you want to feel it, which is only possible because you believe to be something and not just nothing like the empty breath. In other words, to feel the empty breath you must step aside

The connectedness with the empty breath – either through its transparent sound, the swing of it, surfing its waves, or the sparkling force behind these rhythmic movements – is not a feeling that can be fabricated like for example a romantic evening generated by candles, special clothes, music and red wine. On the contrary. It is felt, when instead of busy trying to produce a specific feeling, the hectic energy is used as a take-off to the empty breath.

Following the guidance of the empty breath you are automatically multitasking, because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So if you not feeling the empty breath multitasking will connect you with it.

The empty breath never feels the same
Even though the empty breath seems to produce a constant rhythm of expansion and contraction in the body, your experience of it may not be that of consistency. And you are right. It is not consistent, and it has no such need. Only those believing to be somebody definitive have a need to be consistent, and as the empty breath does not believe to be anything at all, it does not need to uphold a consistent image of itself.

The empty breath can be compared to the cats in the home of Alexius. They go around as it pleases them, but he can always count on them to greet him when he gives them a call.

Feeling the empty breath is like receiving a new gift every moment. There is no way, however, to know what the gift is before receiving it, neither do you need to know, because you are in a state of not-knowing.

The energy at the root of the inner breath may be experienced a bit like this, but in less defined forms and colors.

Likewise he can always count on the empty breath, and even though it only moves on its own accord, it is always to be felt in one way or the other. Maybe he experiences to be going up and down on a single wave several times in a row, where after he may feel the swing of it inside of his head, and then continue to surf of both of the yin yang looking waves.

After igniting a take-off to the empty breath, he mostly lands in its very fast and chaotic energy at the root of it, which feels like freedom compared to the rigid world of the outer senses. Going to bed it may be the transparency of its sound that comes to him. But first of all he simply feels the indifference of the empty breath, and since that means the apparent differences in the world does not appear to make a difference, it is hardly a feeling.

Using other duality hacks to get to the indifference of the empty breath
As any other Duality Hack except the enlightenment of that which is one induces a state of not-knowing, you can use one or more of the those, if you have problems connecting with the empty breath.

No matter which of them or how many you apply, you will end up in a state of not-knowing, which always is the same in the sense that it entails an indifference to the belief in being someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to experience nothing as if it is something, so you are in the transparent bliss of nothing.

+(+) What does ´the empty breath´ feel like? (in the process of being updated)

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath is not something definitive, it cannot be felt in a specific way. Yet it can be felt anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body, where you believe to be – but never constantly the same, although it is constantly there.

The empty breath can be felt in many different ways within its non-definable framework of a ball like thingy, that passes through the head – or above it – and the stomach or below it. Yet it is not experienced in relation to the body and what seems to be inside or outside of it, because the empty breath does not of anything definitive.

This is not because the empty breath experience everything in a world where there seems to be more than one to be spiritual, but that nothing is experienced to be there, since experiences is a hallucination made from out of nothing. Read more about that here.

Having an out-of-body experience is based on the belief that you are someone in a body, which is the opposite of the experience that comes from the connectedness with the empty breath, as it undoes the belief that you are someone definitive. Thus the connectedness with the empty breath is not an out-of-body experience, but a no-body experience. This does not mean, however, that you do not take care of the body, your beloved ones and whatnot when connected with the empty breath, but that it makes no difference, if doing so seems to pay off or not.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears to be disturbing, but trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying is delaying, so you want to be disturbed.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else that is in a fixed position. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience of it changes from moment to moment from as if it is in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside the body. So if your experience differ from the descriptions in this article, go with flow as it comes to you.

Feelings are subjective
If you are very future minded the empty breath may be felt as coming from somewhere in front of you, whereas being minded about the past it may be felt to come from the back. And if you are into the concepts of living in the now, being centred and balanced, it may be felt as it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of it is coloured by own your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath, because contrary to you it has no need to be acknowledged in a specific way. So whether you experience it in the stomach, the chest, inside or outside of the body it carries out its one and only purpose, namely to make you indifferent to the apparent different experiences in the world where you believe to be.

As the empty breath is not static, the experience of it may change from moment to moment and you may experience it in other ways than described in this article.

No worries. Feeling the empty breath is not about approaching it in the right way, but going with the flow. It is only in the world of the outer senses, you must to do the right thing, so you can feel better than those judged to do the wrong thing.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to this indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

A basic intro to the non-definitive form of the empty breath
The empty breath has the form of an egg-shaped ball with lots of oval circles moving inside it, but contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Neither do the circles inside of it, and there are so many that there is no space between them. Nor are they empty. Each one of them contains two yin yang like waves, looking a bit like in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that the edges of it are blurry but that neither its size or shape is constant. It may grow bigger and smaller here and there, so that it momentarily feels to be more pear-shaped than egg-shaped.

As there is no up and down in the empty breath, the biggest part of the pear-shaped version of it may seem to be in the top as well as in the bottom, or in the sides or anywhere in between. And as the apparent centre of each one of the oval circles appearing to be inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath are floating around, there is no fixed centre.

Even though there appear to be an endless amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath, and they are moving in each their own direction with each their own yin yang like formed waves moving inside them, they are actually fused into one movement of two yin yang like waves moving in all directions – at bit like in the next animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or in the two last animations of this article.

But as the above is very difficult to comprehend in a world where life seems to be divided into more than one, most will probably not feel the totality of the empty breath, but one of the many circles that seems to make up the empty breath, if you are conditioned to divide reality in more than one. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow, as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre and though it seems to consists of many different movements in each their own size and shape, everything is actually fused into one singular movement. As this may be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one it is most likely easier to experience to experience an aspect of it.

For most the flow will be to circle from the abdomen or stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head or above it when breathing in, and from there going in a circular movement in front the body back to the stomach or abdomen when breathing out.

It can also be felt the other way around. The direction does not matter. It is all about going with the flow, which in this circular movement feels like surfing the empty breath. Another way straight forward way of experiencing it is to sense the swing of it, which contrary to surfing it is rather a feeling of having two very soft sticks swinging inside the body – up and down and back and forth at the same time. Be aware though, that feeling the empty breath as described in this article is only possible to the extent that you do not you care about being or having more of anything, whether that appears to be spiritual, mental, emotional or materialistic, because the empty breath has not something to give but the transparent bliss of nothing.

A basic intro to the ways of feeling the empty breath
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below paragraph of the same name) or the indifference of it (check out the paragraph The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference) is a state of not-knowing where you seem to be floating on clouds of bliss, whereas the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of it is more like if you are moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythm of the empty breath can be heard as a distant sound (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the paragraph The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin yang like waves inside and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

Each of the non definable circles inside the non definable ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consist of two yin yang like looking waves (but without the two holes), that are not fixated and probably moves in sync with the breath – or rather the breath moves in sync with them. It is therefore not so much about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath, which may feel like you are surfing the outside of the two yin yang like waves more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

Surfing the empty breath
The illustration above to the right shows a very simplified simulation of the empty breath in which you are not able to see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does it reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre and each of the circles inside it contains two non-definitive waves like in the above image, that can be surfed. Please notice that although the waves looks like the two parts of an yin yang sign, they have no holes. And as they actually are colourless, the colours in the images and all the others this article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the body is expanded by the breath, you surf the outside of the yellow wave, that starts from the abdomen or below it and then go behind the body into the head or on top of it. From there you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body, while the breath is contracting the body, until you come back to the abdomen or below it. That is if you are sensing the waves in a circle going from the back to the front of the body.

Besides surfing the waves in that circle, you can surf the waves in a circle going from the left to the right side of the body and in circles anywhere in between these. No matter what circle you are surfing, you mostly feel the waves in the circular movement outside the body.

It is not about being in total synch with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, neither does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped.What matters is to follow the flow as it comes to you, as that makes you forget the physical breath, so it can take care of itself without any interruption from you being stressed or trying to impose ideas of balance, tranquillity and whatnot upon it.

Maybe the most joyous way to surf the flow of the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue going the whole way around the other one, more or less in accordance with the breath extracting and contracting the body. There may be more joyous ways revealed to you, when following the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outer senses, so that following the flow of the two yin-yang like waves feels like surfing them is an imagination of his.

You can also surf the opposite way than described in the above. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so this might speed up undoing the belief in being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies, if the the non-definable edges of the empty breath is not experienced to touch the body but passes it on top of the head and below the abdomen, as that means there is no relation to the body when surfing it.

Thus you are set free from the body (read more about this here), and the body is set free from you, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to control it in accordance with the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection, which is not possible. Just like you cannot import physical elements in a dream or vice versa. This, does of course not mean, that you should refrain from consulting a qualified health care professional, who can assist in supporting the biological system of the body.

You cannot be someone definitive, when going with the flow of the empty breath, so the belief in being someone separated from the formlessness of that which is one is slowly but surely being undone.

As already said, there is no right way of being with the empty breath. Unlike in the world of the outer senses, where a wrong movement can be fatal, there is no right way of going with the flow of the empty breath, so no need to bother about the right way of  doing it. Besides going with the flow of the empty breath, you will soon be indifferent to what is right or wrong.

Going with the flow without knowing where and why.

Generally speaking you will, as already stated, mostly feel the flow of the waves in one circle – probably the one going from the back to the front of the body or the other way around – but you can also jump from circle to circle or feel them all simultaneously. It is not important. Neither is it important to know all this.

As it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that feeling something is possible, so the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

Alexius was not aware of the empty breath in such a detailed way as described in this article, before he started writing what the empty breath feels like and therefore took a closer look upon it. Normally he just follow the flow without thinking about direction and whatnot, because in his case the flow mostly results in a sense of indifference.

But if you want, it is possible to be a bit more choosy than he is. If you seem to have problems with the past or have a back pain that may benefit from being massaged by the empty breath, you may want to surf both sides of a wave in the back of you.

Should you need to be grounded, you could choose to surf a wave passing the abdomen. And if you feel the need to be intuitive or fact minded (the right or left side of the brain), you could surf one of the waves going sideways in relation to the body. Sideways around the chest could be fine if you have one of these hollow ones, that restricts the breath.

There are many possibilities, but in general it is best not to choose anything, and to go with the flow as it comes to you, because that sets the body free to heal itself. Read more about that here. Neither is it commendable to catch all the details about the empty breath in this article, as an intellectual understanding will not help you to feeling the connectedness with the empty breath. On the contrary.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is not possible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath, because it has no definable form or movement. This animation, however, may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels as if it is coming from a non-definitive curved line, that is to be compared to the line in between the two forms of an yin and yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in an yin yang sign the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but rather a non-definable ball, wherein there are many non-definable circles with each their own curved line. Depending on where a one of these circles are experienced to be located in regards to the standard definitions of directions the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately the animation is not really illustrating this, neither that though the swing of it is extremely powerful, the experience of it may be that it is in no hurry to expand and contract the body.

The swing of the empty breath
What is said in the above about surfing the empty breath generally speaking also apply to feeling the swing of it, except that it is felt solely inside the body, where the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two waves is sensed as a swing, that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Due to the limited size of the body though, this line is felt less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described in the above.

The steady swing of the empty breath, may seem to expand and contract the body slower than when you imagined being in charge of breathing. Yet the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed, that at first it feels like the body does not have enough room for it. Maybe the break in between expansion and contraction also feels too long.

Just like surfing the empty breath can be done with any of the circles within the non-definitive borderline of the empty breath, the swing of it can be felt through the movement of the curved line floating in the middle of any one of these circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front in relation to the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, as you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it may be so foreign to you that you probably prefer following the swing of the empty breath in one circle at a time.

Alexius experiences the swing of the empty breath merged into one simultaneously movement, that feels like no movement at all, when listening to the opening of the opera ´Ahhnaten´ by Philip Glass.

If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all its directions simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as everything is spinning – see the speedy animation just below – but it quickly turns into a feeling of everything standing still – see the third image from here – so you feel breathless and the bliss of being indifferent to whatever you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm, that with much force expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle and probably seems to be slower than you are used to – unlike the driving force behind the rhythm of the empty breath, that is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball of it. And even though the particles of this force is moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos, as that prevents you from focussing on anything specific, so you feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

The operator of the empty breath
Besides from feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing on the outer sides of two yin yang like waves in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy at the root of the empty breath is not in line with the rhythm of the breath. Yet it is the force behind it. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here, there and everywhere or as if spinning through a world with no limits.

There are no rules, but it could very well be, that a take-off to ´the empty breath´ will take you to this aspect of the empty breath … and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit in the rigid world of the outer senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath but like surfing its waves, this force is felt both inside and outside of the body. It is probably easier to feel its very subtle energy outside of the body, because there the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch it, but go with its fleetness, it feels like you are a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you may be transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of the empty breath.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where the operator of it resides and where you most likely land after igniting the empty breath, is therefore a good starting point, when you want to feel the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you out of habit try to focus on the empty breath in order to hear the transparent sound of it (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, your effort to pinpoint it will fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach tits rhythmic flow and transparent sound of it is therefore to start in the chaos at the root of the empty breath – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all around it – as that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, wherefore there is not something definitive blocking out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

The transparent sound of the empty breath
Just like the rhythm of a bass is not only heard but also felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ´so´ when it expands the body and ´ham´ when contracting it.

Sometimes this rhythmic sound of ´so-ham´ seems to come from the nose and sometimes from an undefined space in the back of the head. But since there does not seem to be any boundaries, the sound neither is experienced to be inside or outside the head. At other times it seems to come from a distant space outside the body, as if the breath has nothing to do with your appearance in a body.

Feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a powerful experience like feeling the rhythm of a bass, because it cancels out the feeling of being in a specific body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa for example does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it.

This is basically due to the brain not being able to create a conscious experience of the signals it claims to receive from the sensory system of the body, when you are connected with the empty breath (read more about that here), wherefore there is nobody to divide them into judgments of inside and outside, good and bad, high and low, me and them and so on. Hence the apparent differences in the experience of in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference.

Since this means there is nothing to define such a world, it becomes obvious it is not real but a fantasy made from out of nothing. But just like the reality in the world of a game is the same whether you believe it to be real or not, the reality of a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same, when you sense it is an illusion. Your relation with it, however, is forever changed. There is nobody to believe you are someone definitive there, because it is something you pretend (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body ends.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath as it manifests in the swing or transparent sound of the empty breath, as otherwise it is the end of you when the body stops to function. In that moment it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in the operator of empty breath, so that there is not something specific to stop the enlightenment of that which is one from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath you may naturally float into glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, which the visual minded will experience as visions of light and the auditory minded as ethereal harmonies. If you are more emotional minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises or taste the sweetness of life.

These glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, for example the visual aspect of it, will merge into one, if not interpreted as something specific. Hence there is no experience of that which is you being different from that which is one, so nothing seems to hide there never was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

The empty breath is not an appearance that can be manifested by the manipulating the physical breath or by exercising any other form of control.

Hearing or feeling the empty breath is not something that can be provoked by the execution of specific exercises. It is the other way around. When you are not looking for something specific, the empty breath can move on its own accord.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say, that techniques cannot be helpful in regards to tone down the experience of you as someone definitive, so that the apparent existence of you in the tangible world fabricated by the brain does not seem to be a fact but make-believe. Unfortunately most forget, that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like a remote control have nothing to do with the music it triggers.

As the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing there is no awareness of separation. Hence the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

The connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing
Alexius does not really know what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like, because it is a state of not-knowing. However, for the purpose of writing about it, he had many short moments of the empty breath ignited, so that he from the vague memories of those could write what it felt like.

If the resulting descriptions seem patchy and confusing you can use the disorientation to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. See Take-offs to ´the empty breath´Where to find ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is not only to be experienced within its border, because it has no specific border, so if you are experiencing it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, because only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Remember that just like the experience of an orgasm is a very personal thing, so is the experience of the connectedness with the empty breath, even though what you experience is not personal and that you actually have no consciousness about it, since the connection is establish half a second before a conscious experience of you as someone definitive is fabricated by the brain. Read more about that here.

In the resulting state of not-knowing what and where you are, which lasts until you insist that the apparent differences registered by the brain make a difference and you therefore must be someone separated from what you see. Until then there is nobody to experience, how blissful it is not believing to be someone definitive.

In other words, the feelings of the empty breath are memories, that pop up when you again believe to be someone definitive. And as memories are based on a very personal selection, your memories may be coloured in another way than in the above descriptions based on the memories of Alexius.

What you believe to be and see is nothing but empty space. Thus not being and seeing something specific is a blissful revelation of emptiness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does not know about time and space, and since the world where we believe to be is based on that concept, neither does it know what and where we believe to be. This is not because the empty breath is very spiritual, but because it just like everything else that seems to be something is nothing, since there is nothing outside of spirituality as it is formless and therefore without beginning or end, For the same reason there is there nothing specific in it.

In other words, there is no world defined by time and space. Yet based on how the brain processes nothing into something, we believe to be somebody definitive experiencing a world defined by time and space.

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 percent empty space, and the rest we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world, although that also is empty space. This experience, however, is just a cover up for us being the same nothingness as the empty breath. The only reason we believe to experience something instead of nothing is that the brain renders fragments of nothingness into a tangible world, which it confirms as real by rendering others fragment into somebody substantial. This is of course a trick, because there are no fragments of nothing to render into anything. Read more about that here.

It is not possible to be something specific, because reality is oneness and since it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Thus it is only the belief, that you are someone substantial in a tangible world, that seems to separate you from the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. But whether nothingness is processed by the brain or not, the experience of it is equally illusionary. Thus the empty breath has not something but nothing to give you, which is like walking on clouds of bliss.

Yet, that is just as illusionary as the experience of a tangible world, where you and Alexius appear to be substantial appearances separated by time and space.

The connectedness with the empty breath, however, is so closely related with the basic contrast making up the consciousness of you as someone definitive, namely expansion and contraction, that a continuous connection with the empty breath cancels out this contrast (read more about that here), so the brain cannot uphold the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to believe that nothing can be turned into something.

Hence there is not something in the world where you experience to be that disappears in the connection with the empty breath, except the belief that you are someone definitive having these experiences, wherefore there is nobody to confirm their apparent differences to make a difference, and thus nothing to support it as real.

But if you want to appear as if you are still someone substantial in the tangible world fabricated by the brain, it is not possible to continue being connected with the empty breath for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most (read more about that here, because in its rhythmic flow all contrasts are cancelled out, so the brain has nothing to work with, wherefore it falls into coma, if you do not supported by by you seeking out specific thoughts and feelings that confirm you are a separated being in a world of duality, for example by sending love and healing to others.

Should you wonder who seeks out thoughts and feelings or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because there is nobody in empty space. Just like there is nobody in a dream or anybody making it. Neither is the dream in the one appearing to dream it, since there is nothing in it. Read more about this in the intro to the empty breath.

To make long short, what you believe to be in a world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts automatically processed by the brain from out of nothing as if they represent something substantial. Thus you cannot connect with the nothingness of the empty breath, unless you are willing have this belief in something undone.

This article is a preface to What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?

That is why it is best not interpret it from a material point of view when the swing of the empty breath is described as something inside the body (see the paragraph of the same name in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?), because it is not something definitive in a specific place (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the next article What does ´the empty breath´ feels like?).

Also be aware that the description of the empty breath in that article is written by someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, which means that just like the concepts of the world in a game like Monopoly, for example, are acknowledged but not believed to be real, the concept of the contrasts that seem to twist empty space into elements like inside and outside, are acknowledged but not believed to be real.

In regards to the experience of the empty breath it is therefore best to deal with the definitive terms like inside and outside as metaphors for nothing.*

None of the non definitive circles though are outside of you as in this image, which rather reflects the egos idea of the empty breath, namely that it is something you as somebody extraordinary is in charge of.

Yet you are not in charge of anything, because there is not something in the world where you believe to be, nor is what you believe to be there, since there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

This does not describe the empty breath. It is not formless but nothing. And that is why it is your way back to the formlessness of oneness – or rather your way to see, that there is no more than the formlessness of oneness, because in the continuous connectedness with it the empty breath, differences do not appear to make a difference, so there is no separation to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

This is not a realisation of oneness. It cannot be realised, as it takes more than to realise something. But when the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is completely undone, which it is after 20 minutes, 45 at most, in a state of not-knowing (read more about that here), every single memory of a world where there seems to be more than one is gone, so there is not something appearing to hide what has been or will be more than that which is one.


*) This is not to be understood, as if the apparent physical border of the body never should be taken literal. In fact it is very important to take it serious, as long as it appears as if you are in it.

Haven chosen not to be in control, the empty breath automatically guides you. It can be compared to driving a car in automatic gear, which works regardless you are aware of it or not. In other words, when having connected with the empty breath, you do not have to always remember it. Yet you must remember not to use manual gears,* which can take some time getting used to, as you probably are used to consider yourself to be self-made. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Keeping a balance between inner and outer senses or anything else has nothing to do with spirituality, since it is that which is one and it takes more than one to be in balance. In a world where there seems to more than one, however, it works great having the empty breath balance the world of the outer and inner senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment** from the world of the inner senses become the foundation of how the world of the outer senses is perceived, namely as an illusion.

Thus you relate to the world of the outer senses in the same manner you relate to a game like Monopoly, for example. It is not real but yet you have fun pretending that it is.

The empty breath facilitate the synchronisation of the outer and the inner senses, so that what is experienced to be a world outside of you is not perceived to differ from the one experiencing it.

This is not to say that spirituality is inside, but that with the outer senses partially closed it is easier to grasp that a world where there seems to be more than one is an imagination used to hide the spirituality of that which is one. With this insight as the basis for your appearance in the world of the outer senses, it can be quite fun pretending to be someone there – just like within the context of this world pretending to be someone in the illusionary world of a video game is fun, because you know it is not real.

As Alexius is so used to the abstractness of the empty breath, he forgets that those believing to be somebody substantial can only sense something they can imagine as substantial – like the elements of this photo. Introducing the empty breath
The first full article about the empty breath in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, namely Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, is all about how to connect with it, so your own experience of the empty breath becomes your introduction to it. That article, however, came as quite a surprise to Alexius. Not because he is not familiar with the empty breath. On the contrary, it seems to be the reason he is having such an effortless life in the world of the outer senses. Yet, he is so used to it, that he did not envisaged it as something to write about.

And neither is there much to write about, because the empty breath cannot be sensed by reading but by not breathing yourself and instead having the empty breath expand and contract your body on its own accord. If the lack of control seems scary to you, you can use this uncertainty to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, where after there is nobody left to care about control. See the previous article How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´.

The empty breath is amongst other things triggered by not being exclusive and therefore inclusive***, as the apparent differences in the world of the outer senses do not make a difference when being inclusive. That is, if not everything is included, because if it is the contrast of inside and outside is no more, which means there is no separation to hide, there never was and never will be no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

Hence that which is you has and is everything, wherefore there is no need for anything, neither the empty breath.

But most likely there are thoughts and feelings you forget or do not want to include – maybe because you judge them to be evil – and so you still appear to be something definitive, but not as certain about it as before. This crack in your personality is enough for the empty breath to be able to work on its own accord, and start undoing the belief in being someone definitive.

Happy or sad
At first it may feel as if the empty breath is too slow to supply you with all the air, that you feel is needed for breathing. But when you do not override the flow of it*, which does not has to be adjusted to the physical breathing, everything is just fine, and you are guided to the world of the inner senses.

If you in the past have blocked out feelings of for instance humiliation, rejection and inferiority by hiding them in the body, these feelings are intensely felt, when connecting with the empty breath, as the flow of it unblocks everything .

But if you do not try to exclude the unpleasant feelings from the past, and instead include them by totally being them, you will not only feel sad but also happy – or rather none of them, as the inclusion of one side of a contrast cancels out both sides. In other words, you are in a state of not-knowing, which is like walking on air.

The cancel out of a contrast, that comes from completely being one side of it, for example being rejected, is not to be confused with embracing the feeling of rejection, going into it or any other kind of doing something.

Totally feeling sad and being nothing else, there is no happiness to contrast sadness, wherefore none of those feelings can be defined. Consequently there is not something specific experienced and thus nobody experiencing anything specific. This emptiness, which is a sense of bliss so intense, that nothing seems to be wrong or missing, is in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings called a state of not-knowing. Those ideas are born from the belief, that you are someone definitive experiencing something specific, wherefore embracing or going into something enhances this and thus fences off the cancellation of the contrast rejected / cherished, because what you belief to be is founded on contrasts.

Totally being a feeling is not something definitive, as it cancels out the contrast to the feeling you are being and thus also that, so none of them can be defined. Consequently there is nothing to define the one being nothing, so if you do not want to be nobody but somebody, you start asking what being a feeling means or inventing explanations yourself instead of being it.

It could also be that it feels as if you do not have enough room for the empty breath or that it is more painful than joyful, especially if you in the past have excluded specific feelings by projecting them onto obscure parts of the body, for example the muscle named psoas, where fear, worries and frustrations often are stored away.

Hence psoas and its corresponding muscle the diafragma may have become too weak to freely move with the flow of the empty breath, so that it seems the empty breath makes you tense and not relaxed. But if you do not look forward to a specific experience, you will be indifferent to being tense or relaxed.

When someone gets hurt in a movie, that you are watching, you may also feel hurt. That is why the movie seems real. But because you know it is an illusion, it seems exciting to be hurt. This is how it is to be connected with the empty breath. Though the world seems to be real, you know it is not, and so its apparent ups and downs are equally enjoyable.

The indifference of the empty breath sets you free from the need of being free or anything else
Looking forward to the expansion and contraction of the empty breath moving totally freely without any bodily restriction is a waste of time. First of all, you will not be able to enjoy the flow of it, if you are looking forward to a specific way of feeling it. Secondly, the expansion and contraction of the empty breath may never be experienced to flow totally unhindered by the body.

The connection with the empty breath is generally not felt to be complete. No worries. It is not about perfection but purpose. If your purpose is to undo the belief en being someone definitive, the empty space of the empty breath take on the function of an automatic gear, that shifts between the inner and outer senses, so that this belief is being undone, while you enjoy the excitement of appearing to be someone definitive.

There is no perfection in a world where there seems to be more than one, because there is no such world, as that which is one is formless and therefore endless. Thus keeping up the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one requires much focus and control so that your experience of a world where there seems to be more than one constantly can be adjusted, so that it is in balance with what you believe to be.

Focus, control, balance and any kind of adjustment, however, is counterproductive in regards to the empty breath, that has no specific form or centre and totally moves on its own accord.

Nothing can restrict the empty breath, because it has no need to be something definitive. Yet believing to be someone definitive is a restriction, that will cause the experienced of the empty breath to seem confined.

To undo your belief in being someone definitive it does not need to flow unhindered in and out of your apparent substantial body. It does not know of restraint since that is a concept related to freedom, and restraint as well as freedom only makes sense if you believe to be someone definitive.

In other words, as the empty breath is not something definitive, it has nothing to be free from and no need to be acknowledged in a specific way. It is what it is, in spite of you experiencing the expansion and contraction of it to flow smoothly or not – or remembering it at all.

You do not even have to remember the empty breath to have an easy life. Yet you must remember not to forget, that your intention is to not be someone definitive, so that you do not override* the flow of the empty breath in order to appear as if you are special.

It is you, who do not feel free, because you are dependent on constantly being acknowledged as someone definitive by somebody perceived to be outside of you in a physically, astral or online world, so that it feels as if you are alive. The feeling of imprisonment that this entails, you want to break out off, and as you assume the empty breath just like you is something definitive, you expect it has the same desire for freedom as you.

You may believe in free will, but it is nothing than a believe. Appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is the brain that takes every decision you believe to make, except when connected with the empty breath. But as it does not know of the world where you believe to be, it does not change anything but the belief that you are there.

And not believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it does not seem to hide, there is no free will, since it takes more than one to make a choice and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

Fortunately there is not something to solve and no feeling of imprisonment to heal, because going with the flow of the empty breath – no matter in what way it is experienced to be – you go with its indifference, and so the apparent difference of feeling free or not makes no difference.

Connectedness with the empty breath comes from choosing not to choose, so that this auto pilot supplied by the oneness of life can take over.

The rhythmic flow of the empty breath may be heard as a rhythmic sound experienced to come from the back head. Yet the experience of a head is very distinct. It is rather like there is nothing than the rhythmic sound – or as if it is not coming from you at all but from somewhere indefinable. This sound, that you do not do anything to produce and that can be compared to the sound of saying soham, seems to originate from the sixth chakra (third eye) – not from the chakra in the forehead though but in the back of the head – see in the illustration to the right.

This illustration is from the book Healing Hands by Barbara Ann Brennan, whose knowledge about aura and chakras does not seem to be second-hand. Aura and chakras, however, are not part of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings, as they often are used to escape feelings of alienation through spaced out illusions of spiritual grandeur instead of undoing the cause of alienation, which is the belief in being someone definitive.

When the energy of this part of the sixth chakra, that is located in the back of the head a little lower than the illustration seems to imply, is going clockwise you will mostly experience the world of the outer senses to be troublesome, but counter-clockwise you are upgraded to a more laid-back version of it, where it seems easier not to be in control but go with the guidance of the empty breath. If the energy is stagnated the empty breath seems to be out of reach, and you may unconsciously be fixated in a mental pattern, that you carry out very strong-willed.

This image, that is found on the web, shows a very common misunderstanding, namely that life is yours. In reality it is the other way around, so the more you try to edit life in order to appear unique, the more suffering your uniqueness seems to cause you.

It is you, it is you who have chosen the direction of the energy in the chakra and also to clog it, if that is the case. Hence it is only you who can change it.

If the energy in the back of the chakras is not clogged, you are like a river going back to its source. In other words, you do not have a will of your own, unless one or more of the chakras in the back of the body are clogged. So if you want to control how the world of the outer senses is experienced in order to edit it into your own personal story, you want to freeze the energy in the back of the chakras.

In other words, you devote your awareness to the personal will in the front of the chakras and clog the transpersonal will in the back of the chakras by not given them any attention at all.

That goes without saying that neither do you want the transpersonal flow of the empty breath to be the basis for your life in the world of the outer senses, until you acknowledge, that you do not know what is in your best interest.

Collecting specific thoughts to fabricate an interesting personality in order not to be nobody but somebody is not a problem in itself. It is the belief, that the body represents this construction of thoughts, that fences off the enlightenment of that which is one. This is not to say that the body needs to be refined by yoga or something else to not block out the enlightenment of that which is one. The state of the body is not important in regards to the enlightenment of that which is one, because all what is needed to bid it welcome is to for just a split second completely forget what and where you believe to be. This is not to say, that the body should not be taken care of. ON A PERSONAL NOTE:
I have had and partly still have blockages in the body, that seem to prevent the flow of the empty breath. Yet that is not so, and if it seems so, that is because we try to block out specific feelings in order to uphold the belief that we are someone special.

But since that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is one, it is not possible to become someone special in a specific body. Yet it is possible to imagine this – just like within the context of such an imagination it is possible to fool yourself to such an extent that the experience of you as a hero in a virtual world of a video game blocks out the world outside of it. In other words, it is the imagination of you as someone definitive, that blocks out the formlessness of that which is you.

Fortunately I have never been very good in upholding the appearance of being someone unique, and as it only takes one moment, where we forget what and where we are, to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, long time ago I became someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one – and no philosophy or religion – is the sole basis for Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings. The voice behind them comes from a non-physical entity I call Gudruång and whom I in the context of a world where there seems to be more than one seem to be a physical extension of.

If not thrusting this article or anything else, including your judgment of this and that, there is nothing to define who is reading this. Thus there is not someone definitive covering the transparent bliss of nothingness.

Let us imagine, your eyes are covered by your hand, so you can indulge in a daydream about a better tomorrow without being disturbed. Though it feels great to be in your own fantasy, it also feels disturbing to be shut out from the world right in front of you.

Then you slowly start sensing, it is your own hand that hides where you actually are, and without really knowing why you suddenly take it away.

In other words, it is the built up pressure and a change of purpose from daydreaming to being present, which makes you see it is your own hand, that hides where you are, so you automatically remove it.

As soon as you have had enough of the frustrations coming from the belief in being someone definitive, a take-off to the empty breath is automatically ignited.

It happens much faster than reading this sentence. Yet it takes a few more seconds to stop your conditioned way of breathing, which probably is based on forcing it through the tensions of the body caused by your suppression of feelings. That is not necessary for the empty breath, because it does not notice them.

Patiently waiting for this, the flow of the empty breath sets off from the abdomen, as if it is generated from an engine there and solely is inside the body, which you can read more about here, where after it continues without any regards to the apparent borders of the body like it is described here.

If not focused but defocused, all the elements used to construct what is believed to be to be you blurs out. Hence they do not seem to block out, that the empty breath is no different from the nothingness of you. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Having had enough ignites a take-off to the empty breath
In some ways the above process resembles the way a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. You have been hiding in your own story of a world defined by time and space.

The story is made up from thoughts and feelings, you have sought out and organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary, which is shared with like-minded ones, so you appear to be part of something important with a plot so special, that the story seems to be hiding everything in it as well as the storyteller is made up from nothing, because thoughts and feelings are not real but an illusion fabricated by the brain from out of empty space. Though thoughts are just frequencies of empty space and therefore basically all alike, they are identified to differ from each other and as they are created by you, despite what is believed to be you is nothing but a construction of thoughts, that based on the thoughts, judged to differ from each other, is considered to be a unique and self-aware being capable of feeling love and whatnot. Read more about this here.

The exact moment you have had enough from the frustration coming from your story not delivering what the plot implied should be your fate, the selected thoughts and feelings making up the story do not seem to be able to establish the apparent differences in the story to make a difference, wherefore its nothingness is exposed. Not in the sense that you see nothing, but that what you see means nothing.

In other words, when you are fed up with your story of a world defined by time and space and do not try to deny, improve or transcend it, your frustration ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

You may not only sense the bare feet making the foot prints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no body in the image, neither does anybody make foot prints like these. Thus what you sense is a construction of thoughts.* The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath does know what you believe to be, because it is a fantasy made from empty space. Thus it is only you and those you imagine being in this fantasy world, that deem you to be someone substantial in a tangible world.

This does not mean, that what you believe to is transformed by the empty breath into something better or it is lifting you to somewhere higher. But that it takes away what you believe to be, so there is no consciousness to seek out thoughts and feelings, wherefore there is nothing but the bliss of nothingness, which can be experienced in the ways described here. It may also lead to glimpses of enlightenment, that is either seen, heard, felt or tasted as described here.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive, as it is empty space unprocessed by the brain. As a result of this it is noticed, if you want to experience something specific.

Since you are in a state of not-knowing, there is no awareness of its bliss, before memories of it pop up when you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, which must be done latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing, if you want to remain as someone in a world defined by time and space. Read more about that here.

Be warned though, that when returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone definitive, you may not be recognised in the way you expect, wherefore you comment very bitterly on those, you blame for the lack of recognition or maybe scapegoats from your past or famous people believed to be fake.

No worries. First of all, most likely it is not others but you, who have a hard time recognising that you are someone definitive, because a state of not-knowing rubs of on the certainty of that.

Secondly, grievances can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, provided they are not suppressed by justifying them with the world but acknowledged as yours. Here you can read more about how the acknowledgment of feelings unveil their nothingness of bliss.

Yet, whatever has been suppressed can also be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you totally acknowledge the suppression. In other words, fully being whatever you feel in this moment ignites a take-off to the empty breath, regardless if you know what you feel and why.

When you are totally fed up with being controlled by the thoughts and feelings, you have sought out to form a belief system of how to be, the system is automatically left. Not in the sense that you give up, let be or surrender, but in the sense that without the system you are not definable as someone definitive. You nobody and therefore without a need to follow or give up any system. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Igniting a take-off to the empty breath is not a matter of what and where you appear to be spiritually, mentally, emotionally or physically, nor whether you deny or indulge in sex or anything else. All what matters is that you are so fed up from obeying the specific thoughts and feelings, you have compiled into a special belief system of what is good and bad, so you reject being a slave of this belief system.

»When you dig into molecules, and the states of ion channels, enzymes, transcription programs, cells, synapses, and whole networks of neurons, you come to realise that there is no one place in the brain where memories are stored,« says Kukushkin. This is because of a property called plasticity, the feature of neurons that memorize. The memory is the system itself. From an article in Wired.

This belief system is the ego, which is made when you as the self created by the brain change it into something believed to be better by selecting special thoughts and feelings that you assume will make you spiritual, live in the now, come from the heart and whatnot. Contrary to the self created by the brain the self-made ego does not know what is in your own best interest, so you are always faced by trouble when following your own way instead of the brain, as it is there to support the self it has created with happiness.**

What you believe to be and see is fabricated by the brain, so when it runs out of oxygen there is no more to be and see. Fortunately this fabrication of you as someone with a beginning and an end is easily bypassed, because it is made from out of nothing. The animation is grabbed from the web.

As justifying a feeling entraps it in the body and therefore suppresses its energy, it cannot be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. To set it free you do not have to know what it is you have suppressed and why.

You just need to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feelings unveiled as nothing twisted into something, so that you, who also is nothing, can appear to be someone definitive.

To sum it up, being really fed up with the tyranny of the ego, which is self-imposed since, there is suddenly nobody to follow its instructions of how everything is experienced in the right way. So though the experiences of right and wrong is the same, there is not someone perceiving them to make a difference.

Consciousness is a fabrication of the brain done with the purpose of keeping you occupied with the awareness of something, so that the nothingness of your existence is not exposed.

This does not mean, you have an experience of being at one, as only someone who believes to be a separated can have an experience of something. It is rather like having a dream in which there is no difference between the experiencer and the experienced. Yet there is no one knowing this, because you are in a state of not-knowing. See also Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

The uncontrolled speed of any disturbing or intensely pleasant event will ignite a take-off to the bliss, that comes from being in the of indifference of the empty breath. So if you are confused about how to connect with it, do not try to clear up the turmoil but be so confused, that there is nothing else than that and therefore not something to define you, wherefore the speed of nothingness ignites a take-off to the bliss of nothingness, that the empty breath entails.

Not interfering with the speed of thoughts and feelings, they are set free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that syncs the worlds of the outer and inner senses, wherefore everything definable, like stress for example, is absorbed by the high frequency world of the inner senses. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

Uncontrolled chaos ignites a take-off to the empty breath
If you have not had enough from being a victim of your selected thoughts and feelings structured into a system of right and wrong, that you simply ignore this apparent difference, the thoughts and feelings entrapped by the belief system will try to escape it.

Should you succeed in making order in this mess by making up a new system believed to be more spiritual, thoughts and feelings may be kept in line when awake, but when at sleep and outside of your control they will not leave you at rest.

But if you do not try to stop thoughts and feelings, when they try to escape your control, they are free to further speed up and ignite a take-off to the empty breath, that in less than a split second syncs the apparent stress and chaos in the world of the outer senses with the world of the inner senses in which everything moves so fast and unorganised, that nothing is definable.***

As feeling upset is unveiled to be nothing but a cover up for the transparency of bliss, you no longer need to avoid certain people or situations in order not to be bothered by them. Neither do you have a need to please those persons, who seem to cause happiness. In fact you do not need anything from the world, except what the body needs to survive.

This has nothing do with psychotherapy, as it is about rebuilding yourself by and not blaming somebody else for your feelings but embracing them, as this enhances the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it. Besides, blaming something or somebody for what you feel is one of the fastest way to get fed up with your own belief system and thus bypassing it. Read more about that here.

If you do not share your frustrations or joy with anybody but are being it all by yourself, you are not acknowledging a world where there seems to be more than one, wherefore it cancels itself out as if it is something and thus exposed nothing, which is pure bliss

This does not mean that you should let your feelings out or in any way share them, neither via an inner dialogue with what you consider to be yourself and others, nor should you keep them inside, but totally be them until the pressure of being alone is so unbearable, that you automatically leave the belief system causing you to appear as if you are separated from others, wherefore you are not somebody but nobody and thus in the transparent bliss of nothing.

When you are nobody, there is not somebody to be bothered about anything. Consequently only those who want to be somebody have a need for meditation or other techniques to stop or control the thoughts that disturbs what they believe to be.

In the connectedness with the empty breath, you are indifferent to differences, and thus also to being someone definitive. That is why there is not somebody with a need to seek out thoughts in order to be defined as someone definitive by them. Hence there are no thoughts that need to be stopped or controlled via meditation or any other technique. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The connectedness with the empty breath is neither about meditating, chanting or applying other techniques of self-control, because the on and off connectedness with it makes you indifferent to differences and thus to the apparent difference between you and others, wherefore there is no self to define and thus nobody to care about stopping or controlling thoughts.

Judgements about somebody being wrong justifies feeling angry. And judging somebody to be special justifies feeling joy. It also makes it look, as if it is the world that defines you to be someone definitive. The same applies, if you share specific thoughts and/or feelings with others in a dialogue that appears to be inside or outside yourself. Read more about this here.

Fortunately you do not have to stop this in order to undo the belief in being someone definitive, because if justifications are acknowledged, the energy that they have suppressed is set free, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. Completely being what you feel ignites a take-off to the empty breath
A take-off to the empty breath is also ignited, when what you feel in this very moment is not suppressed by justifying it with the world but instead totally acknowledged via the completely being what you feel and nothing else, as that means there is not something to contrast what you are, and therefore nothing to define it, wherefore ´you´ are in a state of not-knowing.

That being said, blaming somebody else for what you feel can be a great way of seeing, what you have excluded from yourself (read more about that here), so you can include it by completely being it, which leaves nothing to contrast it and therefore not something to define you, wherefore a take-off to the empty breath is ignited. In other words, it is not require that you restrain yourself, and if you do, being that restriction completely annuls it and thus ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

When the fear of the unknown is fully acknowledged by totally being it, what seemed to be something, that had the power to frighten you, is unveiled as nothing. Thus what is unveiled is neither hell or heaven but the transparency of bliss.

The avoidance of a feeling makes it appear to be something that is dangerous, whereas the acknowledgement of it unveils it is nothing and that the absence of something is blissful. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware, that fully acknowledging feelings can at first be felt like a trip to hell, because once you start opening up for suppressed feelings, everything that you ever have avoided to feel starts popping up. And until those feelings are fully acknowledged one by one or all at once by acknowledging their common denominator, namely fear of the hell, it may feel as if having panic attacks or endless despair and depression.

All those who like to talk about emotions are not into feeling them but to control them, because if something is totally felt, it is unveiled as nothing, wherefore there is nothing to talk about.

As it most likely is too fearful to acknowledge hell at once by being nothing but that it is probably  a process over time, where the on and off connection with the empty breath slowly but surely makes you indifferent to the apparently different of feelings you are experiencing, wherefore no specific feeling can bother you anymore. In The acknowledgment of a feeling unveils its nothingness of bliss you can read more about this, and in The ins and outs of ´the empty breath´ there is more about how to totally be a specific feeling, so that it becomes indefinable and therefore is unveiled as nothing but transparent bliss.

That applies to the fear of death as well. Just like everything else experienced as something, it is the bliss of nothing. This does not mean that death is the ultimate solution – especially not if performed by yourself, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive. There is no solution in a world where there seems to be more than one but to have the nothingness of it unveiled. This includes whatever is deemed to be spiritual.

As any construction of thoughts can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath, and as a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but a construct of thoughts, there is nothing in it that cannot be used be used for that.

The way Picasso learned to paint was by replicating traditional art, which he did until he was so good at it, that he could forget the techniques and go with the flow of the brush. But there is nobody to replicate in regards to connecting with the empty breath, because its flow is that of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Not knowing anything ignites a take-off to the empty breath
We normally learn something new by replicating somebody else. That is how we learned to talk and walk. Connecting with the empty breath, however, is not about learning but unlearning, so the purpose of this and the other articles in hack #4.4 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not to learn something but to unlearn everything you believe to know – including your ideas about spirituality.

The ocean is what it is, despite what it seems. So is that which I am.

This also applies to reading Alexius experiences of the empty breath in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?. They are not meant to be replicated but to give you an idea of what it is to be an empty vessel for the empty breath.

The reason Alexius so often is as an empty vessel for the empty breath is that he really does not know what and where he is. Neither do you or anybody else know what and where you are. Yet you are most likely working very hard to convince every one that you are not nobody but somebody.

Trouble always follows in the footsteps of being somebody, whereas it is nothing but bliss that comes in the wake of being nobody.

If you stop doing that, there is nothing to obstruct the empty breath from being activated as an automatic gear change between the inner and outer senses, so that glimpses of enlightenment in the world of the inner senses become the basis for how you perceive the world of the outer senses, namely as a fantasy made by nobody from out of nothing.***

That being said, as long as we appear to be somebody in a fantasy world that appears to be substantial, we cannot be nobody all the time. Alexius, for example, must adjust to the fantasy as if he is someone substantial, so that the experiences fabricated by his brain can be used to formulate the non teachings in the collectively agreed way of how communication is done in English. But in order to write them he must be nobody, because their language is that of nothing.

Read Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings until you are so empty, that a take-off to the empty breath automatically is ignited – or you are so tired of reading, that you forget to control yourself, wherefore uncontrolled energy spontaneously ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

This is why you automatically are connected with the empty breath, when you do not know what and where you are, so go on reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings until forgetting it is a spontaneously process of not going for something but nothing and thus automatically entering a state of not-knowing.

Exclusiveness results in you appearing to be someone definitive, but since that feels restricting, there is always a desire for more. Inclusiveness on the other hand results in nothing and thus no desire for more. Hence inclusiveness ignites a take-off to the empty breath and its bliss of nothingness. In other words, fragmenting this animation into what you like and do not like will further define you as someone definitive and therefore enhance the feeling of something is missing, whereas the complete inclusion of it is your ticket to the bliss of nothingness.

Implementing other hacks to ignite a take-off to the empty breath

Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings does not give you anything, because that which is you is no different from that which is one, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is nothing else to have than the formlessness of oneness. Hence you are mistaken, if you believe to be and have more than that which is one. No worries. The Duality Hacks and that which is you
There is no reason to laboriously learn all the hacks in Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them are a goal in themselves – neither do they lead to the goal, because you are already there.

That which is you is no different from that which is one, and as it is formless and therefore endless, there is no more than that which is you.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of the duality hacks is not to return to that which is one, but exposing what seems to hide it, namely the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

And as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, when connected with the empty breath, the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one is slowly but surely falling apart the more you are connected with it.

Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´

The bliss of the empty breath may be felt like an intangible yin-yang sign

When you do not believe to be made of substantial elements – whether appearing to be subtle or solid – empty space takes over.* This can of course not be illustrated, so this yin yang illustration is just simulating the swing of the empty breath coming out of it. Since the bliss of nothingness, that sets in when connecting with the empty breath, is a state of not-knowing, it is not possible to connect with it when in the consciousness of being someone definitive. Thus the connection must be established before the brain based on signals, it claims to receive from the sensory system, renders a world defined by time and space, as if it is you who have a conscience experience of it therefore are someone in it.

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 percent empty space. And the rest – despite it also is empty space and just like a dream has nothing substantial in it – is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Thus appearing to be someone definitive is make-believe, no matter what and where you appear to be.

On account of this taking one second for the brain to accomplish, there are countless of seconds where a connection with the empty breath can be established (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´, and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), because in those seconds unprocessed by the brain, there is nothing to define you and therefore no consciousness of being someone definitive, so there is no difference between the nothingness of you and that of the the empty breath.

Believing to coming from the heart is a way to bypass the brain, so that you appear to be more special and/or spiritual than the basic self it preserves. But it is just like painting your hair. It still comes from the head.

This has nothing to do with coming from the heart, which is just something you imagine to make you feel more special and to feel closer to your pure your essence instead of being somebody insignificant. But you have no pure essence. You are nothing. Thus being insignificant is closer to that which is you, because when you are nothing, something does not appear to hide, there is no more thanthat which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless

How to connect with the bliss of the empty breath

You connect with the empty breath by not connecting with the consciousness of you as someone definitive experiencing the tangible world, that the brain spends a second to fabricate from what the senses seem to have picked up in empty space. You can compare this to not turning on a video game, because you rather want to experience the physical world – except that connecting with the empty breath is not a conscious experience but a state of not-knowing, and you have less than a second to connect with that instead of the image the brain fabricate as if you are someone definitive. This is plenty of time though, provided you are willing to not be conscious of something but be a servant of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the empty breath sees no separation, it has no need to connect with you, no matter what and where you believe to be. You on the other hand need to connect with it, if you want to be indifferent to the belief in the brains conversion of empty space into a world where you seem to be someone separated from everything else by time and space. Forget about being conscious of the empty breath, as what you are conscious about is never the present but the past.

Having connected with the empty breath in the second that has not yet been processed by the brain and hereafter not picking up on the brains deceptive fabrication of you as someone living in a capsule of time and space, the second unprocessed by the brain is extended into a state of not-knowing.

This state though cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to remain as if you are someone definitive, because if the brain is not constantly occupied with thoughts, that seems to confirm the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, it falls into coma.

So being in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, is the end of being there or anywhere else, because the signals that appears to come from empty space are no longer registered by the brain, wherefore there is neither nothing or something that seems to cover up, there never was or will be anything else than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore has no beginning or end.

the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive

Is it the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive, or is the undoing of this belief that causes the bliss of the empty breath? Since that question arises from the belief in being someone definitive, which is an illusion fabricated by the brain, there is no answer to it, neither to who has fabricated this illusion or who choose to have the belief in it undone. How not to be deceived by the brains fabrication of you as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space but instead drift in the bliss of not-knowing is a question that cannot be answered, since it is founded on the belief that you are someone definitive, and the bliss of not-knowing comes from the indifference to that belief.

Neither can it be known, if it is the empty breath or not believing to be someone definitive that comes first in regards to be in the transparency of not-knowing. The only reason somebody want to know this – or anything else in regards to a state of not-knowing – is that they believe to be defined by what they know, and they rather remain as somebody definitive than nobody in the bliss of not-knowing.

Thus the above about where to find the transparent bliss, that the empty breath entails, is not an attempt to answer the question but to rule it out. The same applies to the below, which is a further exploration of the above.

what you see is a translation produced by the brain


It takes time for the brain to correct the signals, it receives from the eyes about a flower, for example, so that it does not appear to be upside down but a coherent right-side-up image in the way you expect to see a flower. In other words, what you experience to see now is an edit version of the past. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

It takes time for the brain to adopt the signals it seems to receive from your eyes, so they appear to be something substantial in the tangible world, we collectively have agreed to see outside of us. All the signals, for example, must to be flipped in order to produce an image of a world that does not appear to be upside down. Read more about that here.

This is not a skill, we are born with. The brain in a baby does not know how to do that. But in order to integrate the baby in the belief system of the world, the brain must quickly learn how to turn the incoming signals into a coherent right-side-up image, so it seems the baby is having the same experience of the world as everybody else.

now is an illusion fabricated by the brain

You do not know what you are reading in this very moment, because what you believe to read now is the brains delayed adaption of the signals, it received from your eyes one second ago. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Where to enter the transparent bliss of the empty breath?
Even though it only takes the brain a few milliseconds to register the signals, it receives from the eyes in this very moment, what you are conscious about right now is something else, because the brain needs a second more to process a conscious experience of those signals, so that you believe they are what you experience to see now.

The brain extrapolate the second it uses to process the signals, it claims to receive from the senses, into an experience that seems to confirm, you are someone definitive experiencing them now not one second ago.

In other words, since your conscious experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the signals the eyes received one second ago, what you believe to read now was read in the past.

When not organising thoughts and feelings into specific categories, they do not seem to represent something in a substantial world. Hence there is nothing to block out the empty breath, that does not know of such a world or that you believe to be someone there. All it knows is the nothingness from which this fantasy has been made, because it is that nothingness.

now is a delayed interpretation of the past

The data, that your experience of this image are based on, the brain received from your eyes at least one second ago. In other words, your experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the past fabricated by the brain in order to fool you into believing, that you are someone definitive having your own life. As this means you are never conscious of the present but the past, and as the empty breath is only in the present, the way to connect with it is to not be conscious but return to the second of no consciousness (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), where the signals from the sensory organs have not been processed by the brain into a conscious experience of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is nobody in this second unprocessed by the brain, there is not somebody to believe, that the apparently different signals received via the sensory system are making a difference. Thus the brains interpretation of them, as if they are a reflection of different substantial elements making up a world where there seems to be more than one is exposed to be a fiction, that hides they are a reflection of nothing and not of something, wherefore there is no differences that appear to separate you from the empty breath.

The experience of a dimensional world is a fabrication of the brain, which it produces by overlaying the flat signals hitting the two eyes into one seamless image of a 3D world. See hack #2.4 Life is flat or hack #2.6 Size does not matter.

what you believe to be is the brain

The brain uses five percent of its capacity to construct a self, that through selected parts of the signals hitting the sensory organs in combinations with singled out memories, feelings and imaginations make up an exciting story about itself, that is stored all over inside the brain, as if it is you. How long time does connectedness with the empty breath lasts?
It is just five percent of the brain, that is used to shape the conscious experience of ourself as somebody defined by time and space. Much more space though is needed to establish this experience as real. Thus a big part of the brain is constantly occupied with thoughts about ourselves, as if they are caused by a tangible world experienced to revolve around us and therefore seem to confirm, that we are somebody definitive. If not kept busy by making it appear, as if there is something where there is nothing, the brain falls into coma, so you can only remain as if you are someone in the tangible world fabricated by it, if you do not float too long in the transparent bliss of a state of not-knowing, that the empty breath entails.

It seems, that when the brain is not kept busy with thoughts, we appear to think ourselves about ourselves (see No talking is needed to come back to that which is one and The ins and outs of the inner senses) for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls apart – and since all our selected memories are stored there and the sum of them is what we believe to be, this belief falls apart as well.

When you look for something better, a state of not-knowing is fenced off, until you are so fed up with looking for the best, that the almost involuntary reflex to divide the world into better and worse is dismissed in favour for the indifference of the empty breath. Thus connecting with the empty breath is not a matter of doing it right but having had enough.

Thus a state of not-knowing cannot last too long at a time. That is not a problem though, because mostly it lasts no longer than the moment it takes for the uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions to ignite it (see Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ).

In the bliss of the empty breath you are indifferent to being and having more

The urge to be and have more is the cause of all suffering, because more wants more, so there will never be enough. That is not a problem though, when connected with the empty breath, because it is indifferent to differences, so you always have enough. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Even in a state of not-knowing the urge to be someone special may be so deep-rooted, that it paves the way for the brain – maybe just for a split second – to break through with its version of you as someone, who can be and have something special, if agreeing to identify selected sensory signals to be better than others, for example those that seem to manifest you in a special relation with a spouse, children of yours, pets or bodily wellness.

As nothing appears to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, there is no special place to go or someone special to love, so if having a need for something special, it feels as being inside an unbreakable armour of pain instead of floating in the bliss of nothingness.

If not trying to escape this feeling of claustrophobia but including it as it is, it is not definable as something and thus nothing but that from where bliss of nothingness is coming.

Compared to this vision of you as someone special in control of what to be and have, the simple bliss of nothingness seems boring, because there is nobody to be excited about being and having something special.

Love, empathy and whatnot are feelings fabricated by the brain, so that the experience of you as someone definitive, seems to be a happy one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you succeed in having sex with somebody, the brain rewards you by releasing dopamine, which is the same it releases if you take drugs. And if the relation goes on it is not about love but to follow the demands of the brain, so it will release a new shot of dopamine.

Like everything else this has an end. But if you start showing more empathy in your relation, the brain is gonna reward you with shots of oxytocin – also called ´the hugging hormone´ – that instantly creates a feeling of happiness. And if you go along with the instructions of the brain, you will soon have a baby to cuddle.

Thus a state of not-knowing is left behind by imagining to be so special, that someone else, who also is special, is impressed and wants to be in a special relationship with you, so what you seem to have together can replace the feeling of loneliness, that arises from judging someone or something to be special.

That is, until you are so weary from living up to the expectations of being someone special, that you prefer to use your frustration as a take-off to the empty breath (see how in the articles Take-offs to ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), and float in the bliss of nothingness, that arises from being indifferent to the desire of being and having something special.

The bliss of the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, that is all-inclusive

If you try to exclude the desire for something special in order to remain in a state of not-knowing, you are already out of it, because being in a state of not-knowing is all-inclusive, contrary to being someone definitive, that is exclusive. So if not excluding but including your desire, you are still nobody in the bliss of not-knowing, and thus in its guidance of everything included.

In this case you used hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss. But you could also have continued by using a hack to connect with the empty breath by using the restless energy of your desire to ignite a take-off to the empty breath (see How to ignite a take-off to ´the empty breath´ ), as all the duality hacks are interchangeable.

Even though Alexius mostly was in a state of not-knowing, when he for two days was stuck in the rainforest without food and water, it was the inclusion of his fear, that made it possible for the empty breath to use it in guiding him to a helicopter, that wired him up from there. See the article Every moment is the perfect moment – also for dying in the rainforest.

The bliss of the empty breath has no centre

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions within its non definable frame as a circle with no fixed centre. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

So when not insisting that your spouse and whatnot is special, which is done by not excluding but including your desire to be and have something special (see hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not make appear to make difference, and you continue in the flow of the empty breath, that helps you dealing with everything included.

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions – up and down, back and forth, from right to left, or anywhere in between – within its non-definable borders of a circle with no fixed centre or size (see the illustrations in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

It makes no difference to the empty breath though what direction you follow or how much you are connected with it. Your willingness to connect is all that it wants (see the paragraph The only requirement is willingness in INTRO TO HACK #5-7, ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone). And if it is there, it automatically syncs the inner and outer senses, so the sense of stability in the inner ones helps you to get through the sense of instability in the outer ones (see What and where are the inner and outer senses).

You cannot know what is in your own best interest, because you believe to be someone in need of something special. The empty breath, however, knows what you believe to be is not something but nothing. Thus what you need is not the excitement of something but the bliss of nothing.

This does not mean, it will seem easier to get a new spouse, more money and whatnot in the world of the outer senses, but that it is easier seeing, it makes no difference what you appear to be and have, because that which is you is not a limited creature in a capsule of time and space but the formlessness of oneness.

In the bliss of the empty breath you do not know what and where you are

In a state of not-knowing, you do not know what and where you are. No worries. It is not needed. On the contrary. It is the assumption, that you know what and where you are, that covers the bliss of not-knowing it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

More ways to a state of not-knowing
Inclusiveness also results in a state of not-knowing (see hack #3.5 Inclusiveness is pure bliss), and so does pretending to be someone instead of believing to be that (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive), or having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #5-7.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can), or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.2 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), or acknowledging that the experience of such a world is something you are having alone together (see hack #8.8 Alone together is the key to that which is one).

All other duality hacks (see More Duality Hacks and Extra Duality Hacks) except the enlightenment of that which is one also result in a state of not-knowing. If they differ from each other is not to say, as the brain does not fabricate a conscious experience of them.

How many triangles are there in this image?
As the brain automatically fill in the missing pieces in this image to make you believe, that you see two triangles, you will probably disagree with the grey triangle being an illusion and the one partly framed by a black stroke being disconnected.

But if you cover the three incomplete black circles, the grey triangle disappears and the other one is fragmentary.

Since it is the brain that decides what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste, we are not free, but something fabricated and controlled by it to believe, we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and not the formlessness of that which is one.

Hence there is nothing to heal but the sick belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which is done by connecting with the empty breath in the second before the brain fabricate a conscious experience of us, as if we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This does not mean, that the empty breath is the formlessness of that which is one, as it takes more than one to be anything, but that it metaphorically speaking is the door to that which is one, where there is no being, awareness or anything else that requires more than one.

The brain deceives you to fence off the bliss of the empty breath

When the brain every now and then screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the movement of your eyes, it fills the gaps based on past memories. But as they most often have been heavily edited, the story fabricated by the brain to fill in the gaps may clash with the story of the present, so that the discrepancy makes you feel, that something is wrong in you or the world. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You are literally blind at least two hours a day
You are probably not aware, that every now and then throughout the day you are literally blind, because the brain screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the eyes are moving around. The reason you do not notice being blind two hours a day is that the brain hides it by filling the gaps with visual impressions of what it predicts to happen.

Not you but the brain is in charge
In the first episodes of a new TV show there are hints pointing to the forthcoming ones, and as the brain thrives from envisaging what is going to happen next, it is trapped into anticipating the future of the characters and thus enchanted by its own predictions into a state of amusement.

The writers of Game of Thrones try to hook you up and fence of the bliss of the empty breath

The writers of ´Game of Thrones´ want us to bond emotionally with the characters, so that we feel attracted to them, as if they are real and not just a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But the future of the characters does not turn out as predicted by the brain, because the writers of the show do not comply with their own hints, when writing the next episodes. Thus the fate of the characters becomes a mystery, that the brain hopes to unravel in the following episodes, wherefore it compels you to stick with the show until the very end. In other words, it is not you but the brain that is in charge.

But as the predictions fabricated by the brain to fill the gaps of blindness basically are a remix of memories, that have been adjusted every time recalled in order to boost the story of you as the good one fighting the bad ones, it may not match the story others have of the same moments.

In case the brain does not receive enough data from the eyes to produce the image you expect to see, it draws on your past experiences to fabricate what it predicts that you want to see.

Consequently you conclude, something is wrong in your story or in that of others, wherefore you start trying to correct what is judged to be wrong.

Most likely you do not read this article, but what your brain predicts you want to read.

There is nobody in the bliss of the empty breath

There is nobody to find in the story of your life as someone definitive, because it is pure fiction. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The more you seem to be successful in this, the more you believe, that the story can be shaped in such a way, that it comes out with a better version of you. Yet no matter how it is changed, the story remains a fantasy, and so is the idea that it has an author.

Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, a dream does not have an author or anything in it, neither the dreamer, nor it is in the dreamer or anywhere else. It is a deception made to look, as if nothing is something.

The world is not something we see but a construction of thoughts arranged by the brain in accordance with its translation of the signals it seems to receive from the eyes. The same applies to what we believe to hear, feel, smell and taste. More about this in the article All experiences are equally unreal.

Fortunately the brain is not capable of translating the empty breath, so when connected with that and thus in its indifference, we are not deceived by the construction of thoughts produced by the brain to make us believe we are somebody limited by time and space.

In the bliss of the empty breath the belief in duality is undone

In a state of not-knowing it is not possible for the brain to establish the usual consciousness of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. This does not mean, however, that the consciousness of you as someone definitive is replaced by something better or higher but by no consciousness at all. Thus there is nobody to be conscious about the bliss that comes from not believing to be someone. That is why, it is like air walking in air. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no awareness of differences in a state of not-knowing
In a state of not-knowing you are blind in the sense, that there is no conscious experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thankfully this is resolved by the empty breath and not the brain, which records the signals it assumes to receive from senses like it always does, but as the connectedness with the empty breath fences off the fabrication of a conscious experience of them, there is no awareness of how the brain categorise the different signals in contrasts of for example good or bad, right or wrong, love or hate, within and without and so on.

Though a world where there seems to be more than one is seen in the usual way when in a state of not-knowing, its apparent differences are not believed to make a difference. Thus there is no experience of being someone definitive and therefore nobody to be happy, sad or anything else.

This does not mean that there are no feelings. but that nobody relate them to them as if they make a difference.

Consequently the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one therefore cannot be judged to make a difference, wherefore there is nothing special to love or hate and thus nothing specific to worry about.

The bliss of the empty breath is the bliss of nothing

When the body, that you appear to be living in, again and again drops something, you could be defined to be clumsy. If you believe this and feel guilty about it, you may want to change it.

But as every effort to improve yourself is based on the belief, that there is something wrong with you, your efforts are not changing this belief but enhancing it. This, however, you secretly accept, because even though you do not like to be defined as clumsy, it is preferable to not being defined, as that means you are nobody.

Yet being nobody, there is not somebody to be clumsy or something else. There is just emptiness, and that is pure bliss.

The bliss of the empty breath is not the end station

A state of not-knowing is not the end station, but a way to see that there is no end, and that everything appearing to have an end is an illusion, as there is no more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no more than that which is one
Be aware, that the connectedness with the empty breath is not similar to being connected with that which is one, since the latter is not possible, as it takes more than one to be connected with something.

The connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath is simply a way to overlook the apparent differences fabricated by the brain, so that they are not judged to make a difference, and a world where there seems to be more than one therefore does not appear to establish the belief in separation.

Going with the flow of the empty breath is just as easy as going with the flow of sex. The latter though does not result in the undoing of the belief, that you are someone definitive, unless the orgasm is used to ignite a take-off to the empty breaththe empty breath<//i>. In the sense that no thinking is needed, following the flow of the empty breath is no different from following the flow of the genitals. The result of the latter though is the enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it.

This is not to say though, that sex should be avoided (see Holding back to not ejaculate is just another physical manifestation – but without the physical thrill of it), because the exclusion of sex or anything else adds to the definition of you as someone definitive. In orgasm, however, can be used to ignite a take-off to the empty breath. That is, if you do not hold back, but are nothing else than the orgasm.

But despite the connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath therefore undoes the belief in separation, it is also enhancing it, because it requires more than one to connect with something.

The problems, you seem to have, do not come from the world where you believe to be, but from the belief that you are someone there. Hence the solution to all problems is the same, namely the undoing of that belief.

The same applies to letting go of the connectedness with the empty breath or whatnot, so to not enhance the belief in separation but having it undone, you do not choose to connect with the empty breath or something at all, which means you are connected with nothing and thus in the flow of the empty breath.

You feel stressed from perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference

Searching for the meaning of life is stressing, because it has no meaning

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one can you search for the meaning of life. Yet it is not to be found there or anywhere else, because it takes more than one to find something and life is that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

The way that letters are put together in various shapes makes it possible for us to attribute a special meaning to each of the constructions. And when they are organised in sentences like in this article, for example, the combination of different shapes is experienced to make up a story inside of us, so that although the meaning of those shapes have been attributed by ourselves, we feel the story, that seems to evolve from them, confirms us to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

Reality is that which is one, and as it takes more than one to experience something, it cannot be experienced.

Let us imagine, that the letters we believe to confirm us as somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space are the same letters making up the formlessness of oneness. But unlike in the world, where we believe to be and where we experience everything as separated by time and space, there is no space to keep anything apart in the formlessness of oneness, since it has no space.

Although the story of you as someone definitive is made up by yourself, you have not made a story about a happy person but a destructive one, because you hate the restrictions of being limited and not formless.

Thus the letters, that the formlessness of oneness consists of in this fable about it, cannot be distinguished from each other, and therefore not organised in shapes, that added together in specific ways seem to establish a story of us as separated beings in a world defined by time and space.

In non-duality there is no differences

In non-duality everything is fused into one perpetual present, that no one can see, as it takes more than one to see something. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

A world defined by time and space is a slowed down version of the formlessness of oneness
It is not only because there is no space to separate the letters in the formlessness of oneness, that they cannot be differentiated from each other, but also because everything moves so fast that time stands still, wherefore it is not possible to organise them in a linear way – or any other way for that matter.

So in the context of our story about time and space versus the formlessness of oneness you could say, that a world defined by time and space is a fantasy of what oneness looks like if slowed down. The slower you imagine it to be, the more there seems to be space between the shapeless letters, so they appear to be separated from each other with a definitive shape of their own.

Furthermore there seems to be time to arrange them in different combinations with each their own meaning, that added together expand into a story of a world, where time and time and space seems to separate everybody from each other.

The slowing down of oneness is therefore an attempt to gain control of it and turn its formlessness into a construction of thoughts representing specific shapes in a world defined by time and space, that they seem to be something you can manipulate to your liking. Thus the way back to oneness does not come from more control of thoughts or slowing them further down via for example meditation or stories about a quiet life on a peaceful planet, so you do not feel the speed of it, while it is hurtling round the sun at 67.000 miles an hour without you falling off.

Neither does it come from understanding this or anything else, as to understand something enhances the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Whether something is experienced to be inside or outside, it is make-believe, because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of oneness and formlessness has no sides.

Non-duality has no meaning

To undo the believe in duality you must give up attributing meaning to anything, that seems to have a beginning and end, so that the apparent differences of duality does not appear to make a difference. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

A journey without distance takes no time
If you experience to be someone definitive, you are making up a story about a world defined by time and space from out of nothing, because oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is not anything outside of it. It does not even have an outside, neither something inside of it, as it has no sides since it is formless.

No worries. When not attributing meaning to the letters in this article or anything else there seems to be in your story of a world defined by time and space, the story collapses, as when shapes have no meaning, there is nothing to separate them and therefore no time and space.

Since there is no more than oneness, nobody has ever left it. Thus the way back takes no time.

The fastest way to not attribute meaning to something, that appears to be there, is of course to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one,* as it promptly and relentlessly erases every definable detail of whatever you remember to have experienced, so that there are no memories from where an image of you as someone definitive can be recalled, wherefore there is no story to be made.

If you, however, want to have your cake and eat it too, you can connect with the empty breath,** because it undoes the story of you in a world defined by time and space in a less abrupt way. Thus you are able to enjoy the excitement of the story, while having it undone.

The reason for this is that the empty breath does not erase the memories of you as someone in a world defined by time and space. Yet due to its flow of indifference, the apparent difference between what you believe to be and not to be is not perceived to make a difference.

Consequently there is nobody to confirm that the story of you as someone substantial in a tangible world is realwhich is why it is nothing but fun pretending that it is*** – just like in the context of that story, it is much fun pretending to be someone definitive in the virtual world of a video game.

If you want to dive in the bliss of the empty breath, it may be beneficial to read this intro about it. But if you prefer to jump right into it go to Take-offs to ´the empty breath´,.

When Alexius many years ago was hired to teach graphic design in an advertising school in Denmark he had a problem. Even though he had been designing magazines, websites, flyers and ads for companies big and small, he did not know how to do it, because everything was done as servant, who intuitively does what is best for communicating the contents of the projects, he is hired to design a frame for.

He had no professional training in design, neither any other kind of education, so in order to provide students with guidelines of how to design, he wrote a book with basic rules of doing it, which he deducted from his intuitive way of designing.

There may not be anything else published about how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of indifference to the belief in being someone definitive.

If not in the bliss of not believing to be someone, you are speculative

The empty breath cannot help us in regards to knowing how come we appear to be substantial beings separated from each other by time and space, because this is not possible, since oneness is formless and therefore endless, so there is no time and space. How to explain the empty breath?
In regards to passing on guidelines of how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of indifference to the belief in being someone definitive he is in the same situation, as when he was involved in teaching how to design. He has no knowledge from others, he can refer to in order to explain how to connect with the empty breath .

Neither does he know how to explain, that the image of us as somebody separated from each other is an artificial construct, designed by the brain to control and manipulate us into believing, that we are unique creatures separated from each other in a capsule of time and space, although there is nothing else than oneness, since it is formless and therefore endless.

But he knows how to serve and follow guidance, and starting to write about the empty breath and its undoing of the belief, that it is possible to divide the formlessness of oneness into separated substantial beings, he was guided to watch a movie (You Disappear), which quoted the latest scientific explorations of the brain.

Consciousness is just a construction of thoughts, which is no more than ones and zero in a stream of binary code.

The fabrication of something from out of nothing
The short version of these discoveries is that the brain uses five percent of its capacity to construct an image of you as someone definitive, who is aware of itself through the experience of being separated from a world outside of it, that is assumed to cause its thoughts and feelings.

Another small part of the brain continuously fabricate experiences of an external world, that you seem to have and therefore to confirm, you as someone definitive in it.

These experiences the brain claims to process from frequencies it receives via the senses, but this explanation, just like the experiences it processes, is a smokescreen to cover up, that it does not know real from unreal. It uses the same organ to deal with both imaginary and reality, so it has no way to differentiate between imagination and reality. In other words, its version of reality is also imagined.

The experiences interpreted as the most meaningful ones, namely those that seem to define you as important, are stored in the rest of the brain, and as the sum of these memories constitute what you believe to be, you are not just a fabrication of the brain, you are the brain. Every bit of it – not just ten percent – works to make it appear, as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space outside the formlessness of oneness.

Being in the bliss of not believing to be someone is to be empty

Science states, the world that we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 percent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and just like a dream does not contain anything substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. But since formlessness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. Thus any experience – whether it seems to be of a physical or spiritual nature, being direct or coming from the heart – is constructed by the brain from out of empty space. And as it takes a second for the brain to generate an experience of something from out of nothing, what you believe to be experiencing now happened one second ago.

In fact it never happened, because one second ago there was nothing, and it only seems as if you experience something now, because you need to believe this in order to feel that you exist.

The bliss of nothingness
Though science seems to know, that the experience of something is make-believe made from nothing, they are more interested in exploring something than nothing. Yet, it is in the latter, that the empty breath resides.

Since the experience, that the brain fabricate of a world defined by time and space to support the appearance of you as someone definitive, only makes sense, when you want to know or be aware of yourself as someone definitive, you connect with the empty breath by not being conscious and therefore remain in the continuous seconds of unprocessed empty space, where you are in a state of not-knowing*.

However, in order for somebody to be in this state, there still needs to be a little awareness of you as someone definitive, so the world made up by the brain continues to be experienced. But as there is not enough consciousness to establish you to be different from the experienced, the apparent difference between you and the world does not make a difference.

Hence there is no separation to hide, that although it is fun playing along with the fantasy of separation, when you know it an illusion, it is nothing compared to the bliss of emptiness.

Yet it is not due to the revelations coming from the discoveries of how the brain is working that Alexius knows this, but because when he returns from a state of not-knowing* to the conscious experience of being someone in a world defined by time and space as it is fabricated by the brain from out of empty space, there are memories of the bliss it is to not to believe that this is real.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

Not knowing something, nothing hides the bliss of nothing
He has no ingenious system for how he connects with the empty breath in the second of nothingness before the brain fabricate a conscious experience of him as someone definitive experiencing the empty space from one second ago, as if it is a substantial world where something specific is happening now. And since the connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing*, he does not even know when he is connected.

Only those believing to be somebody definitive need to be in balance, peace and whatnot, because if not manifested as someone special, they are exposed as nothing.

But not always trying to know** and rather to serve life than to master it may be the reason, there are many moments with no need to support the image of him as someone definitive, so he automatically connects with the empty breath. But since he is not trying to know, he cannot say if this is so. Yet, as he is trying to serve, the article goes on.

If the brain is not kept active with thoughts of separation for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, it falls into coma. See also the hack 20 minutes, 45 at most in Extra Duality Hacks.

Yet he can say, that this connectedness cannot last too long at a time, if he wants to go on with the experience of being someone definitive, because that experience needs to be regularly updated by the brain via thoughts and feelings appearing to be caused by a world outside of him, so that they seem to confirm him as separated from it as someone definitive.

The bliss of not believing to be someone is always there

The inner and outer senses
When we are not connected with the empty breath and therefore not in the blissful state of not-knowing* but in the stressful awareness of being somebody definitive separated from others in the world we seem to experience through the outer senses, the empty breath is still connected with us, provided that we just once connected with it ourselves, because it does not know of separation.

The world of the outer senses is a version of the unprocessed world of the inner senses, that the brain has processed from it. Actually a bit more nuanced, but that you can read about in the next article What and where are the inner and outer senses.

The experience of being in the tangible world of the outer senses or the abstract world of the inner senses is in the context of where the data seem to come from received from the same senses, as the world of the outer senses is an interpretation of the world of the inner senses fabricated by the brain.

Looking at the bliss of not believing to be someone

As all experiences are illusionary it includes the experience of the empty breath as well. But as this is what this illusion, it unveils the bliss of nothing, until not even bliss seems to hide, there is no more than that which is one, and therefore no bliss or anything else to experience, since it takes more than one to experience something. Since the empty breath does not know of separation, it has no knowledge about the tangible world of the outer senses. Yet it senses you are stressed from believing to be someone definitive, so it synchs the feeling of stress with the abstract world of the inner senses, where there is nothing specific and therefore no stress.

This metaphor only makes only sense as long as you believe, that the experience of you as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses is real, because that experience as well as any other – including the connectedness with the empty breath or anything else considered to be spiritual – is a deception made from out of empty space.

Fortunately the experience of the empty breath exposes this, so that the bliss of not believing to be someone is the last thing, you experience, before this belief does not seem to cover, that there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

But as the world of the outer senses is based on the experience that everything is separated by time and space, the empty breath has no knowledge of it. Yet it grasps, we are stressed from figuring out what to achieve, how to do it, and most of all how to live up to our own expectation of what getting what we want should make us feel.

Whether you are connected with the empty breath or not, it is always connected with you, so that it can function as an automatic gear change between the outer and inner senses, and make the abstractness in the world of the inner senses the base from where the world of the outer senses is perceived, wherefore the achievement of specific the physical elements does not seem important.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Going with the flow of the empty breath you become indifferent to what you get, so if you want something specific, you got to accept the stress, that comes from not going with the flow it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The synchronisation of the inner and outer senses
To take the edge out of the stress we feel in the world of the outer senses, the empty breath synchs it with the world of the inner ones. Not because this world is more peaceful, but because it is a high-frequency world, so the speedy and restless energy, that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outer senses, does not seem stressful at all.

It is not thoughts as such, that prevents us from going with the flow, but the desire to use them for accomplishing something specific.

That being said, you might not want to go with the flow of this synchronisation, because although it results in indifference to stress, it may not produce what you stressed to get. That is why most want to avoid the flow of the empty breath and go with the stress it takes to obtain what they want.

Like a pencil cannot make its scribblings go away but an eraser can, you cannot make your scribblings as someone definitive go away but the empty breath can.

Even though getting what they want does not result in lasting satisfaction, they prefer to carry on searching for something new and better to make them happy and lessen the stress that this entails through meditation, yoga or other techniques making them appear to not be egoistic, though it is all about becoming and having more at the expense of others (see That which is you has no end).

The bliss of not believing to be someone may appear as blurry


The more the connectedness with the empty breath cancels out the contrasts of tangible feelings – for example happiness and sadness – in the world of the outer senses by synchronizing them with the abstractness of the inner senses, the more you are indifferent to the apparent existence of the world experienced with the outer senses, because when you neither feel happy or sad about it does not make sense. This does not mean, that you begin to see the world of the outer senses as in this image, although that is a possibility, but that you begin to perceive its apparent differences to not make a difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When the substantial world of the outer senses is equally synchronised with the abstractness in the world of the inner senses, you are partially somebody and nobody, but not enough somebody to know what and where you are.

Though that means you are in a state of not-knowing, part of you as someone definitive is still kept intact in order for you to be there. Read more about this in the next article What and where are the inner and outer senses.

The same applies to experiencing the world of the inner senses. There must to be someone to experience it. If not, the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is over, and so there is nothing to hide, there is no more than that which is one.

Going with the flow
Being process and not result minded though, the flow of the empty breath can also set off from what appears to be egoistic motivated. Just like it probably was part of the flow for Alexius to start writing about the empty breath by following his own idea of emphasising the synchronisation of the outer and inner senses.

Yet going with the flow, the emphasis turned out to be on the bliss of emptiness, that arises from the connectedness with the empty breath and its indifference to the belief in being be someone definitive.

No concepts survive the bliss of not believing to be someone

So do not let concepts of right and wrong prevent you from going with the flow. Even within the context of living in a world defined by time and space most concepts are deceptive.

The ground beneath our feet is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour and the entire planet is hurtling round the sun at 67.000 miles an hour.

You may for example experience the sun to go up and down. Yet it only appears so, because you believe to be someone separated from a tangible world experienced to revolve around you. Yet it is not the sun that is going up and down, but what and where you believe to be. See The sun does not go up and down – it is a deception.

Ways to connect with the empty breath
It seems, that while in the flow of writing about the empty breath, ways of explaining how to ignite a take-off to it popped up. For example by using the energy of the stress arising from the belief in being someone definitive as a take-off. Read more about how to do that in hack #4.4 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

Just like everything else sensed, it is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribe it with a specific shape and colour. But as the brain cannot conceive nothingness without falling into coma, the empty breath remains invisible and colourless.

If this is what you want, it is not important whether you read hack #4, Being in a state of not-knowing from beginning to end or just browse it. What is important is to not focus on anything in particular or spend time on processing it in order to integrate it.*** It is not about integrating or learning something but to unlearn everything, so you do not contain anything and thus is an empty vessel can be at service for the empty breath.

Only those believing to be special have the need to do things in their own pace.

Ways to not connect with the empty breath
The need to connect with the empty breath in your own pace and to spend time on processing what you have read about it comes from the belief, that what the brain makes you appear to be is real.

In oder to support this belief, you or the brain, which basically is the same since what you believe to be is a construction of thoughts, need time to twist Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings into the already established concept of what and where you are (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´).

The bliss of not believing to be someone does not come from something but nothing

Looking for something you can relate to as your true self in the teachings of a guru or somebody else, you do not look for that which is real, because it is no different from that which is one and it takes more than one to look for something. Since what you believe to be is a fantasy made from out of empty space, it is being undone when you don not relate to something but nothing, because then there is no relation and therefore no more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This, however, is not necessary with the spiritual teachings in fashion. It has already been done by those promoting them, so that even though spirituality is formless, it seems as if it can be obtained by someone definitive through coming from the heart or something else shaped by time and space.

In such teachings you may seem to recognise the very special entity, you believe is your true nature. But whatever you believe to be is nothing, because spirituality is everything, as it is formless and therefore endless.

So do not read about the empty breath with the expectation of finding something to make you or the world better, but to become indifferent to what and where you appear to be.

It is a waste of time reading about the empty breath if you want to become more spiritual or wise, because just like what you believe to be, the empty breath is nothing but empty space (see the article ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be).

So the less you seem to know something,** the less something appears to hide, what you believe to be is nothing. Hence there is not something to separate you from the empty breath.

Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

It is not necessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive in order to connect with the empty breath, but it is necessary to be willing to have it undone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The only requirement is willingness
Leaving your comfort zone of knowing what and where you are** is not done by fighting or transforming your conditioned behaviour, but by being willing to undo the belief, that makes it possible to appear as if you are conditioned, namely the belief in being someone definitive.

About willingness see also Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This willingness most often comes from admitting, that the appearance of you as someone definitive is a not a matter of fact but of make-believe. And this you admit when acknowledging, you are not willing to undo the belief in being someone definitive, because this acknowledgement confirms what you appear to be is make-believe.

Momentarily being connected with the empty breath is very blissful, because it makes you indifferent to the belief that you are someone definitive, so there does not appear to be someone bothered about the appearance of anything.

Appearing there without being there
Having the belief in being someone definitive undone, does not mean that what you appear to is destroyed, reborn or awaken. Just like within the context of this belief, it is not Santa Claus that is undone when you grow up, but the belief that he is real. In short, the indifference to the experience of you as someone definitive does not change the look of it.

Since nothing matters when connected with the empty breath, you are free to pursue whatever seems to matter.

Looking for nothing is the door to the bliss of not believing to be someone

If you are not looking for something special to confirm your belief in being special, you will probably be indifferent the apparent differences in this image and therefore also to the apparent separation between the image and what you appear to be, and hence in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are. When you start to grasp that what you appear to be is a fantasy, it is amazing to appear as if you are Santa Claus, a father, a mother or whatnot, while your on and off connection with the empty breath slowly but surely makes you indifferent to the belief that you are someone at all.

Reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings probably seem depressing, if you believe to be unique, because they do not imply there is any hope for you in the future, because that is nothing but empty space.

Yet the inclusion of hopelessness is the key to not look for something to hide the depression that is depressing anger and thus the nothingness from where bliss arises, when not hoping to find something there. See also the hack No Hope = Oneness in Extra Duality Hacks.

The bliss of not believing to be someone

Whether you believe the dog in this image is real or not, the image of it remains the same. Not believing it is real, however, you are indifferent to whatever it seems to make you think and/or feel. To be indifferent or not
The below metaphor may be beneficial in regards to picking up on what it is the empty breath brings about:

When you believe to be someone – whether physical or spiritual – something must be perceived to be different from you, so you appear to be separated from it and therefore to be someone definitive. Thus when playing a game like Monopoly, for example, you do it to make its world of illusionary differences real by insisting that they make a difference.

But the more you are in the indifference of the empty breath, the more you play Monopoly to have fun pretending, that its apparent differences make a difference.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer, balanced or whatnot, because being anything is part of the experience in being someone and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

How does it feel
The connection with the empty breath may be experienced as described by Alexius in the articles What does ´the empty breath´ feel like? and The empty breath´ undoes all conditioning. But do not count on it, because his experience of it is not static. And even if it was, you and Alexius would probably experience it in each your own way – just like would do if having the same cup of tea. Besides the main attribute of the empty breath is indifference, and that is hardly an experience.

When not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is nothing to uphold the belief in separation and therefore neither in you as someone definitive. Not trying to experience anything specific but including everything exactly as it is perceived to be brings about a perfect moment, because without excluding something there is nothing to define you as someone.

Hence you are therefore in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are, and this is also where you are when connecting with the the empty breath, having glimpses of enlightenment, or applying any other the duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one.

If these states of bliss are identical is not to know, because they are all states of not-knowing*, which is an equal mix of empty space and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, the brain has fabricated from that.

There is nobody in the bliss of not believing to be someone

In a state of not-knowing there is not enough consciousness to be aware of yourself as someone definitive separated from what you experience to a world outside of you. In this mix there is not enough consciousness to perceive the apparent differences in the world to make a difference, so you are indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive. Yet there is enough consciousness to cover that the world is nothing but empty space, so you still appear to be there, though in a more abstract way than when being fully conscious.

A state of not-knowing* lasts as long as you do not try to regain full consciousness (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), but not more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, if you want to remain as if you are someone living in a capsule of time and space.

The enlightenment of that which is one though is not a state of not-knowing, since it totally erases the memory of ever having appeared to be someone definitive (see hack #5-7.2 Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it), and without just a bit of that, there is nobody left to be in any kind of state.

Measured in linear time the enlightenment of that which is one probably last less than a minute. We are so conditioned to believe, we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space, that the fear of annihilation takes over and we compulsively imagine to see something, so that we again appear to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

This also applies to Buddha and Jesus or anybody else who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, because it only takes one to undo the belief in not being one, and there still appear to a world where there seems to be more than one, so every one has used fear as a way to rebooted as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one.

On top of that it may not even be the empty breath, that is uncovered through the willingness to not uphold the belief in being someone definitive. Maybe it is the enlightenment of that which is one or a glimpse of it (see the article A reintroduction to the inner senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it), or a perfect moment (see hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is a perfect moment), or the freedom that comes from pretending to be what you are not (see hack #1.5 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Time is nothing in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Without the basic contrast of expansion and contraction there is no experience of life. Yet what we experience as life is really death, because life is formless and therefore without a beginning and end, so anything that does not last forever is lifeless. It is, however, life that makes it possible to have fantasies about being a limited being in a lifeless world – just like within the context of such a world, it is only due to that, you can to imagine being someone you are not in a virtual world of a video game. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The bliss of nothing cannot be obtained, as it is not something
By implementing of one or more of the duality hacks you cancel out the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of you as someone definitive in the world of the outer senses, so that there are no differences to attest to you being different from the world where you experience to be.

As the conscious experience fabricated by the brain of you as someone separated from a world outside of you therefore does not make sense, you do not know what and where you are. Thus are in a state of not-knowing*.

A state of not-knowing* set-off on its own accord by the willingness to not believe you are someone definitive.

This is not a state though, where you can arrange to go, when you feel like having it integrating, because there is not something to integrate, neither anybody to have something integrated, since what you believe to be is a fantasy made from out of nothing.

In this context it is rather the nothingness of you, that is to be integrated with the nothingness of the empty breath – or more to the point, the belief that you are someone definitive is to be undone by the empty breath, so there does not seem to be something obscuring, that no matter what you believe to be, you are not made from matter, astral energy or anything else but empty space – just like the empty breath.

The person the brain has fabricated to appear, as if it is you, will keep on saying, there must be something more. And if something more is what you want, you better forget about the duality hacks, as applying for example the empty breath, the belief that it is possible to be or have more is slowly but surely undone.

It is not about learning something but to unlearn everything
To sum it up, there is nothing to know, since that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless. So although there seems to be so much to know, when appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is only one thing to know in regards to the formlessness of oneness, namely that there is nothing to know.**

Differences do not make a difference in the bliss of not believing to be someone

That is why the purpose of Alexius´ Enlightened Non Teachings is not to learn something new, but to unlearn everything**. This is done by reading all of them – or flip through  them – and apply one or more of the duality hacks until there is nobody to acknowledge, that the person fabricated by the brain is real, wherefore there is nothing but the bliss of being indifferent to the belief that you are someone definitive.

When you are connected with the empty breath bliss arises from being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

But as the connection is a state of not-knowing*, there is not enough consciousness to be aware of the bliss, until a state of not-knowing is left in favour for the full consciousness of being someone definitive, where memories of the bliss, it is to be indifferent to this or any other consciousness, pop up.

When you leave the empty breath, it remains connected with you, because it does not know, that you believe to be someone, who is separated from everything in the low-frequency world experienced by the outer senses.

Yet it senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inner senses, which is indifferent to the restlessness that speedy thoughts and feelings seem to produce.

What you believe to be does not exist
Should you wonder, who chooses to believe, that the image fabricated by the brain of someone definitive is you, or who has programmed the brain to produce this image, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because the experience of being somebody, whether in a so-called spiritual or physical sense, is just like having a daydream within this experience. There is nobody in it.

Everything is new in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Even though some plants are edible, not all of them are. Often the most beautiful of them often that should not be eaten, if you want to remain as someone living in a capsule of time and space. And if you do not want to end, when your appearance there is over, you better avoid beautiful ideas like living in the nowcoming from the heart and being transformed, because they are based on the belief in being someone definitive, and everything definitive, contrary the formlessness of oneness, has an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Thus the empty breath and the other duality hacks are therefore just as dreamlike as anything else in the experience of being someone definitive, no matter what and where that seems to be. Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

There are lots of ways to appear, as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it, because you are not in it. Just like within the context of such world a dreamer is not its a dream, and therefore not returning to its bed when the dream is over. Likewise you do not return to the formlessness of oneness, when your apparent life in a capsule of time and space is over, because you never left it. But contrary to the illusions – for example being transformed into something more real by living in the now and/or coming from the heart – promoted by most so-called spiritual movements in fashion, the duality hacks do not attempt to transform anything but to expose that everything experienced to exist is made from out of nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath, for example, you become indifferent to the differences in the experiences produced by the brain. Hence you do not believe you that you are someone definitive separated from others but that it is something you pretend to be.****

Though the experience of world where there seems to be more than one seems to hide there is no more than that which is one, the experience of such a world is bound to end, because that which is one is formless and therefore without end.

And as what you pretend to be, you are not, that which is you does not end, when the experience of you as someone in a capsule of time and space is over. Furthermore until then it is much fun pretending to be what and where you are not,**** as absolutely no harm comes from that.

**) This does not mean, that you should avoid learning and knowing something, or being and having more, when it comes to the practical aspects of appearing to be someone definitive. Yet there is no need to think about it, when connected with the empty breath, because its indifference to differences makes it impossible to make choices, so in its flow you are having the belief in being someone special undone, while enjoying the excitement of this belief to its fullest.
