Nothing can stop you on Highway One except your belief in a world where there seems to be more than one

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you may also fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as it relentlessly destroys every definable feature of what you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When the cats living with Alexius are at sleep, they sometimes move as if they are having a nightmare – at least that is what he concludes. The oneness of life may draw the same conclusion if it could sense the stress coming from those imagining to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can life see, the imaginations of those who believe that life can be divided into more than one.

Even if life could sense this fantasy in which you are someone who needs to take something from someone else to survive, it would not stop imagination, as it may be too scary to suddenly see that that what and where you believe in being is an illusion because there is no more than that which is one. Thus life tries to comfort you in your dream world while it sweetly whispers: Come home.

This whisper is heard or felt as an unpronounceable humming often symbolised by the word Aum or Sohang. If this humming makes you open your eyes for just one second, you will not see the world you are dreaming about but one light much more potent than anything in the dream. The light and force of an atomic bomb is nothing compared to this light, which does not illuminate something and is neither opaque nor transparent, but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

As the enlightenment of that which is one is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so Alexius only has vague memories of it.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The enlightenment of that which is one sucks out all the thoughts stored in the brain, making up the experience of you as someone definitive. They are left at the edge of a black hole, so there is nothing to fall/float through it into the formlessness of that which is one. This will, of course, seem very frightening for someone believed to have a consciousness. No worries, if you want to return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, all that is needed is to pick up the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the journey into the black hole to something. In this way, the journey becomes definable, and as that is only possible in a definable world, you appear to be back in a world defined by time and space. This, however, has to be when the enlightenment of that which is one still seems to be going on in linear time because after a minute or so, it turns into one perpetual present. Then it is too late to return to the experiences of a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Without further notice, this light relentlessly and most powerfully smashes every definable feature that makes up your identity in the dream of a world where life seems to be divided into more than one. If you do not believe this identity is that which is you, you will not fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one.

But suppose you are attached to being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In that case, you fear to become formless and to prevent that, you objectify the fear by justifying it as caused by a force that wants to destroy you, so that the fear becomes a tangible form, which seems powerful enough to smash the enlightenment of that which is one into definable pieces. In this way, the formlessness of oneness is escaped so you can appear to be someone special in a world, where their life seems to be divided into more than one.

Some claim, they out of compassion for others return to a world where there seems to be more than, but that is very egoistic. Life is the formlessness of that which is one, so a world where life seems to be divided in more than one is an illusion.

Actually, there is nothing to fear in that which is one because it takes more than one to fear something. But imagining to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it always seems as if there is something to fear. To appear as someone definitive, you must permanently exclude what is judged not to be you. As that is done by projecting what you dislike onto others or obscure parts of your body, you fear retaliation from others or your body.

That which is one has no power to destroy anything, as that requires more than one.

But when not excluding anything to appear as someone great in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no reason to fear the death of being someone definitive and as nothing falling out of the dream into the reality of that which is one.

The unenlightened twists everything they hear or read about oneness andthe enlightenment of that which is one into something, that appears to make them someone special in the world instead of not someone at all.

As there is no more than that which is one and requires more than one to choose to wake up – or choosing anything at all – it is not possible to wake up. Nor is you reading this article or Alexius writing it. That which we are is not in the dream called the world. One could say we are dreaming about it. This, however, is not a factual explanation but a metaphor to describe that which is not real. In other words, in reality, there is no dream – just one perpetual present.

The unspeakable sound of Aum or Sohang is your ticket to Highway One
When your ear is close enough to a computer, you hear and/or feel a distant sound coming from its engine. To be that close to the computer, though, you have to stop focusing on the world empowered on its screen.

The same applies to hear or feeling the distant sound from the edge of the universe, which is often, although it cannot be spoken, symbolised by the words Aum or Sohang. In other words, you must stop focusing on the appearances in the world of duality to hear the humming from the edge of the universe, which can be compared to hearing the essence of the sound coming from a computer engine or rather the fan of it.

You can also compare the humming to transparently hearing the purring of a cat, or sensing your body vibrating like that, or like trembling of fear but without the fear of something, or shaking of coldness but more lightly and not feeling cold or anything else specifically, or feeling the effect of quickly drinking the foam of Coca-Cola which in this case is not limited to bubble or tingle in a specific part of the body or in that alone but all over.

In other words, it is not really in the body that you feel it but rather like when like, for example, when the anaesthesia a dentist has made in the mouth stops working. You feel something, but it is not as if it is the body you used to know.

This vibration is used to fabricate and uphold a world of duality – not in the sense that it has created it. The wave is an echo of that which has no beginning or end, so it cannot create anything with an ending. Yet the energy of it is used to keep together the imagination of a world of duality – just like it is the energy of a dreamer that makes it possible to have a dream. But it is not possible to manifest the dreamer in the dream, and likewise, it is impossible to display non-duality in a world of duality.

The vibration that ´Aum´ and ´Sohang´ symbolises is your launching pad to non-duality.

Sometimes, while having a dream, you sense that it is too weird to be real. Likewise, when hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang, a world of duality stops making sense. The apparent differences do not make a difference, so the concept of duality slowly fades out – also the fear born out of the belief in being someone definitive. Consequently, the world no longer seems to have a grip on you, and so you are free to use the humming from the edge of the universe as a launching pad to the formlessness of non-duality.

Alexius is never sad and nobody is ever mad at him. He knows these feelings, and when they pass by he include them – and what is not excluded does not define him.

You cannot know or understand the formlessness of non-duality because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to know or understand something. For the same reason, you cannot experience fear, sadness or anger, neither love, happiness or compassion in that which is one.

This does not mean that there is no love in that which is one. On the contrary, it is everywhere, but as non-duality is formless, there is no separation, so it cannot be experienced. Neither is there someone specific to know it is one perpetual present.


NOTES:

  • Hearing or feeling the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang, which is to hear or feel the echo of that which is one, is not a miracle cure, as everything in a world of linear time appears to take time – including having the belief in being someone definitive and that the fear it entails is an illusion.
  • Following the heart has nothing to do with following the echo of that which is one. This vibration erases the belief in a world defined by time and space. The heart, however, needs definitions to continuously be excited about something definitive. Consequently, it will fight the vibration symbolised by Aum or Sohang so that you remain in a world defined by time and space.

PMT A perfect moment takes you back to the first moment of duality

You and the world is fabricated at the edge of a black hole, which you have imagined to be a way out of that which is one – and to make it appear as if you are right, you divide all the appearances of this fabrication by separating them into good and bad, so that it seems you are in a world, where there is more than that which is one.


What you appear to be, was dreamed up at the edge of a black hole through which you believe to have escaped non-duality. This rebelliousness you continue in a world of duality, where you do not accept that everything comes in pairs of opposites. You fight this basic rule of duality by splitting the constant interaction of opposing components into disconnected elements so that love and hate, for example, do not support but fight each other. This description is, of course, as illusionary as anything else in a world of duality. But since Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not claim to be real, reading them may be beneficial in exposing the illusion of duality.

When the feelings judged as wrong are excluded by projecting them onto others or obscure parts of your body, so you appear perfect, there is always something that needs fixing to not seem imperfect.

When everything is included there is no differences and consequently nothing to improve. Nothing is missing. Every moment is the perfect moment.

But if you do not try to avoid the ups and downs of the world by excluding what makes you feel down but instead include down as well as up, then their contrast is cancelled out. Thus the apparent difference between down and up makes no difference. In other words, nothing is wrong or missing. The moment is perfect – also if there still appears to be thoughts and feelings because they are experienced through the echo of that which is one, which is indifferent to the experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The inner senses are not limited by the ideas of time and space, so it is not a problem for them to pick the echo of that which is one coming from the beginning of the world, which also is the end of it.

The humming from the edge of the universe
Depending on your preference in the world, the echo of that which is one is either experienced as a sound, feeling, light or taste coming from the edge of the universe – one at a time though, as they are aspects of that which is one. However, this article is mainly about hearing or feeling it, which is often symbolised by Aum and Sohang.

As what is formless is endless, the formlessness of that which is one is everything, so to be conscious or anything else that requires more than one is an illusion.

When the outward-facing senses are partially closed, the inner ones, which are not limited by time and space, can tune into this vibration from the edge of the universe symbolised by the words Aum and Sohang so that you can hear or feel it. What you hear or feel, though, is not that which is one but a glimpse of it because that which is one cannot be experienced.

That which is one is the absence of attention, awareness, consciousness, love or anything else that requires more than one. In other words, they are make-belive because that which is one is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

If the outward-facing senses are entirely closed, there is no world to experience. Hence there is nothing to prevent the flow of the inward-facing senses from erasing all thoughts – or rather the belief that someone is thinking them – so there is not something that appears to hide that which is one. However, this is not the subject of this article. It is written within the apparent realm of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Feeling or hearing the humming from the edge of the universe, you do not perceive differences to make a difference. There is nothing to separate good and bad or anything else, so everything – though apparent different – have the same value. Every moment is the perfect moment. Nothing is wrong or missing.

There is no black hole, because there is no more than that which is one. You think you have escaped that which is one through a black hole into a world where there seems to be more than one. But it is a fantasy. There is no way to escape the formlessness of that which is one because formlessness is endless. Consequently, this image of a black hole that may look like an embryo or a horse head is not real.

In the beginning, every moment was the perfect
A perfect moment can be compared to the first moment of a world where there seems to be more than one. You have just escaped the formlessness of that which is one through a black hole that you imagined seeing at what you judged to be the edge of oneness. Fragments of oneness – or rather selected memories – you brought through the black hole are chaotically floating around until you start organising them into a perfect pattern.

But there is not enough fragments – or memories – to make the pattern perfect. You freak out, and the anger makes them explode into a big bang that expands into the universe in which you spend all your time looking for the missing pieces. Truth is that which is one. Consequently there is no truth in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

If you are a factual minded person, you may ask, where are the facts behind the above explanation. There are no facts, but a world where there seems to be more than one is impossible because there is no more than the formlessness of oneness since formlessness is endless. In other words, that which is one is everything and therefore no outside or inside.

Consequently, whatever is experienced in a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion – also so-called facts, spirituality, the aforementioned perfect moment, an explanation of the beginning of the world.

The perfect moment is a fairytale
That which is you is no different from that which is one, so it is impossible to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, it is possible to pretend to be there. Like – in the context of such a world – it is possible to pretend to be someone in a game’s virtual world.

As most have forgotten, that a world where there seems to be more than one is virtual, they believe that what they appear to be is real – and as they think it all started with a big bang, the above explanation about the beginning of the world and a perfect moment is meant to be a fairytale, that reminds you that there is no more than that which is one.

A perfect moment can be used as a way to survive the stress of a world where there seems to be more than one, and/or as a way to have the belief in such a world undone, so there is not something to hide the formlessness of that which is one.

So if this fairytale of a perfect moment seems helpful to you, follow it and go back to the very first moment of the world, where your partially opened inward-facing senses will fill you with glimpses of enlightenment – or if wholly opened, leave your identity at the edge of a black hole, so that nobody gracefully floats through a black hole into that which is one.

But if this fairytale is not your cup of tea, by all means, go for another – for example, hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation – or go for something entirely different.

It is best, though while appearing to be in a world, where there seems to be more than one to follow somebody else´s voice*, as what you consider to be your own is based on the sum of your memories, which means it is the ego talking from the past in an attempt to maintain the status quo by for example saying you should do things in your own pace.

No way, however, is more or less real than another. Yet while believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it may seem as if there is a way that serves you better than another regarding undoing the belief in being someone definitive. If Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings appear to be such a way, use them to set yourself free, but please do not use them to prove that you are on the right track and others are wrong.

Most belief systems are shared vocabulary for people in search of meaning.

Also, do not try to fit into the terminology of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. They are not a new philosophy or religion in which you can find the meaning of life. On the contrary, they undo the belief that you are someone living in a capsule of time and space. What you believe to be, does not exist because it takes more than one to believe something or exist as someone – and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.


*) It is, of course, only in a world where there seems to be more than one that you can appear to follow somebody else’s voice. Ultimately speaking, there is nothing but the oneness of that which is you.


NOTES: 

The inward-facing senses, enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it

Enlightenment can be experienced in glimpses with the inner senses in form of light, a feeling or a taste and a sound. This is in my non teaching called mini enlightenment. Glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one can be experienced via the inward-facing senses in the form of seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting it. These experiences can be compared to a movie trailer, which of course not is the movie. In other words, as it takes more than one to experience something, they have nothing to do with the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As the requirement for bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is one is to be nobody, there is not somebody to experience it.

The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be experienced
To be someone definitive is an experience, and as it takes more than one to experience something, it is not possible to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, while believing to be someone definitive.

But if you momentarily forget what and where you are, the enlightenment of that which is one does not appear to be hidden by someone specific. Hence a light brighter than anything else can extract all thoughts that have been stored to make you look as if you are someone definitive and leave them at the edge of a black hole so that no are memories of a world where there seems to be more than one to block the nothingness of you to gracefully fall through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one.

During this free fall, there is still a connection to the construction of thoughts stored at the edge of the black. This construction, however, cannot be kept together for long without being witnessed by what seems to be a different construction. Therefore, if you want to reappear as someone definitive, it must be picked up again within a few minutes – measured in linear time – to be witnessed by somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This was the way my body looked eight years ago. The way it looks has changed. The glasses are also different, but the content is always the same. It is life and only life, that makes the body seems to appear, no matter what glasses it is wearing or how old, it seems to be.

To pick up the construction of thoughts, that constitutes your identity as someone definitive, you just need to focus on something, because doing so, there appears to be more than one in the enlightenment of that which is one, and so you are back in a world where there seems to be more than one. There the construction of thoughts, that you believe defines you as someone tangible, is witnessed by similar but different looking appearances, so that it feels as if you autonomously beings in a real world.

However, returning to a world where there seems to be more than one, nobody can attest to you as someone enlightened of that which is one, because that requires more than one. For the same reason, you only have vague memories of leaving your personality behind and as nothing being sucked into the formlessness of that which is one. In other words, you as a person have not been enlightened. That is not possible. Yet, as a person, you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one.

The enlightenment of that which is one is not a state, because being in a state requires more than one. A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is a state, and therefore not lasting, as everything definable has an end.

A glimpse of the enlightenment of that which is one is an experience
When enlightenment is experienced, it is not the enlightenment of that which is one but glimpses of it. This is to be compared to watching a movie trailer, which is just glimpses of the whole movie and in no way comparable to it.

Unfortunately it is very common to confuse glimpses of enlightenment for the enlightenment of that which is one, as the experience of the glimpses so easily can be used to hide what is judged as darkness in yourself, so you appear to be someone, who is full of light, even though that is not possible, as it takes more than one to be full of light and there is no more than one in the enlightenment of that which is one.

Glimpses of enlightenment do not erase thoughts. Yet you tend to ignore them, as you have no need to use them for fabricating an image of you as someone remarkable while having those glimpses. But afterwards, you may start thinking, that sharing your memories of them will make you appear to be a new redeemer – especially if it seems as if you are helping others. Yet doing so, you will not see more glimpses of enlightenment until it makes no difference to you what you appear to be, and you, therefore, can be used by the glimpses, instead of you using them.

When the outer senses are partly deactivated, glimpses of enlightenment are experienced through the inward-facing senses as visions of light, ethereal harmonies, a shivering feeling of total emptiness or a taste of sweetness. To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, the outer senses must be completely deactivated.

There is no face to be detached from or stop to desire in this image grabbed from the web, as there is no face in it, unless you have conditioned yourself to fabricate such an illusion.

Believing to be someone definitive or not
In the world of the inward-facing senses the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it is available for you whether you know a lot about it or nothing at all – also regardless of the state of your body or how and where it is positioned. It is merely a matter of focusing on being someone definitive or not. When there is no or little focus on appearing to be someone at all, there are no boundaries to block out the world of the inward-facing senses.

So if you want to appear as someone significant – regardless if it is your pet, children, spouse, god and whatnot you try to impress with your appearance and whether that is to be someone comforting, loving, loyal, beautiful, healthy, rich, wise or spiritually transformed – Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not for you.

They are pointing towards that which is formless, but as there is nothing formless in a world defined by time and space, Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings cannot be used to prove you are someone specific. On the contrary, the message of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is, you are not different from others, because every appearance is equally illusionary.

Going back to that which is one cannot be done, as it takes more than one to do something and there is no more than the formless of that which is one, as what is formless is endless. Yet it is possible to belief, that there is more than that which is one, and reading this you believe so. Therefore going back is all about the undoing of that belief.

Pointers must be left, if you want to get to the point
A traffic sign pointing towards for example Berlin Airport has nothing to do with Berlin or the airport, even though there maybe is an illustration of an aeroplane on the sign. Also, the sign cannot take you to Berlin Airport. All it can do is to show the way.

Likewise, the formlessness of oneness cannot be found in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, neither can they take you there. They just point towards it. To get there, you must leave them behind, to follow the way.

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings points to the formlessness of oneness by illustrating, it is the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which hides there is no difference between that which is you and that which is one.

When you want something in a world defined by time and space, there are certain steps to follow. But there are no steps to follow in order to undo the belief in such a world. Believing there is, enhances the belief that such a world is real, and so it will continue to hide what is real, namely the formlessness of that which is one.

Yet there is no specific sequence you must follow to undo this belief and bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. If there was, that would be the foundation for replacing an old belief with a new one. Alexius did not know anything about the enlightenment of that which is one when he bid it welcome. He did not even know, he bid it welcome.

The nature of ´the empty breath´ [draft]

It may not always be your experience that the empty breath is your best friend because it is of no help regarding what and where you like to be. Instead, it helps you to see everything through its eyes of indifference, so you feel good no matter what and where you experience to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Entering the empty breath, you do not feel you go higher, but fall into the bliss of nothing.

PART 1:
The empty breath
is a life jacket you got from that which is one when you left it to be and have more than that. This, of course, is a metaphor because you cannot leave oneness since it is formless and therefore endless. Yet, it seems possible to imagine being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same, because you receive what you give and you give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

This life jacket, the empty breath, loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even see that. It is a fantasy that only can be seen by those believing to be somebody definitive. And it has no way of believing something because it is nothing. So, consequently, this is what it sees.

To see nothing is to love everything and thus feel loved by nothing. That is why the empty breath does not crave love from anybody. You, however, need to love it if you want to feel, you are unconditionally loved as someone definitive.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you probably forget to check the lottery, for example. And when you do, you smile regardless you won or not, because in the flow of the empty breath, you arw indifferent to to becoming and getting more.

The empty breath does not know how to heal hay fever or anything else caused by the belief in being someone definitive. But it knows how to undo this belief. And since you get more laid-back in the process of that, new ways of healing your hay fever may pop up. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The guidance of the empty breath is not about how to get better health, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing that what you appear to be and have is nothing.

Thus being connected with the empty breath, every experience of something is perceived as nothing. Of course, this does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, and so is what you do about it, you have nothing to worry about.

To be loved is a need that comes from the perception that diffrences make a diffrence. But since the empty breath is indiffrent to diffrences, being loved or not does not make a difference when connected with it.

Nor does it mean that you do not experience positive to be different from negative, for example, but that the experienced difference does not make a difference. Thus it makes no difference, whether you think positive or negative, feel cherished or rejected, make the world better or not, live in the now or whatnot.

Those advocating ´living in the now´ try to replicate the traits of the empty breathNot by being indifferent to separation, though, but by enhancing it through the exclusion of the past and the future.

This detachment, however, which is a natural trait of the empty breath, cannot be replicated by being an observer or anything else as that implies you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one because detachment is indifferent to this or any other belief.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would just be a replacement of one illusion with another. Its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief, that there is more than that which is one, so you do not believe that experience of more than one is real.

It is also indifferent to becoming or getting something. That is why connecting with the empty breath or applying any other duality hack does not make you more unique. Changing or transforming somebody or something in a world where there seems to be more than one is just to replace one illusion with another. Like how something is changed on a computer screen, everything is the same because there is nothing on it.

What you see on the screen is on a hard disk where there is nothing but zeros and ones. Yet, it is not before they are processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen that the nothingness of the hard disk seems to be a tangible world in which changes can be made.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which, in this context, is the world, so you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of emptiness.

Being connected with the empty breath you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a video game because you know they are make-believe.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be and see, so that there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, so what you judged as something bad is seen as nothing. See Take-offs into ´the empty breath´.

Connecting with the empty breath has nothing to do with what you eat or think. Nor has it anything to do with meditation except in the sense of being a medium for nothing, which you are when there is a willingness to not look for something. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 2:
Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial when connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive.

The same applies to be centred, balanced, focused or something else. It is the willingness to not be anything that ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

This willingness, however, does not come from forcing the body into unique yoga postures, neither by controlling the mind, but by thrusting its uncontrolled flow of energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath regardless, you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs into ´the empty breath´.

Actually, speedy thoughts and feelings shoot off again and again, and several at a time, to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. But you stop them from becoming boundless by defining them, so you can remain in the illusion of being someone definitive.

The more you limit yourself to be something specific, the more it feels like you are about to collapse. To prevent that, you go on specifying yourself until you feel so constrained that you burst of anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together, so the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

INTERLUDE:
Being indifferent does not mean that you do not feel the apparent difference between, for example, love and hate. But because there is no need to be acknowledged as someone definitive when connected with the empty breath, you do not consider one of them better than the other. In other words, it makes no difference to you which feeling you explore.

The same applies when pretending to be someone definitive because what you pretend to be, you are not, so it does not matter if you appear to be lived or hated. This also applies when perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is one because when every appearance is a symbol of the same, the apparent differences of the world makes no difference.

As it takes more than one to be connected with something, it is only as long as you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, that connectedness with the empty breath seems relevant. PART 3::
It requires more than one to experience something, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. Thus every experience is fictional. Read more about this in the articles. All experiences are equally unreal, and Nothing that can be seen exists.

Consequently, the experience of the empty breath, though it may seem as if you finally have found something authentic, is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic to have this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything, but in the sense that you are indifferent to it.

A state of not-knowing, which is the result of the empty breath, is also the outcome of the other duality hacks . If it always is the same state of not-knowing cannot be known, because nobody is conscious about it.

If you feel confused by this article, do not try to get a grip on it (read more about that in the hack No understanding = Enlightenment in Extra Duality Hacks). Instead, go with the flow of chaos until you cannot make ends meet into being someone definitive and feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also is what happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Since it results in a state of not-knowing, you are not bound up with the belief that you are someone definitive until you leave this state and return to the consciousness of being someone.

Since that which is one cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined to be a state of consciousness in which the self is transcended into a higher one. Oneness, however, has nothing to do with being in a state, nor about being conscious of something, because that requires more than one. So does being someone. APPENDIX:
If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its untamed energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. In its presence, you can make up stories of love, for example, without feeling deceitful for manipulating thoughts and feelings to make them because the empty breath sees the world where you believe to be as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seems to disclose something on it, the screen remains empty.

In other words, when you are with the empty breath, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain as if you are someone definitive in a world of something. You do not need the happiness that comes from being in sync with them. You are in the bliss of nothing.

But as noted elsewhere, the belief in being someone definitive falls apart if it is not constantly confirmed by the experiences that the brain produces of a world that appears to be outside of you. And since what you believe to be is the sum of your memories, and they are stored in the brain, you are the brain. Thus it falls into a coma if you stay with the empty breath for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time. In other words, the brain falls apart if there is not a constant interchange between the self it has created and the experiences it produces as if there is something outside of it.

No worries, having been with the empty breath for just a split second, the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to interacting with a world that appears to be outside of you with the perception, ´it is what it is.´ and thus feeling happy regardless of how you experience being treated by the world outside of you.

That is until you wonder why everybody seems to know so much more than you, and you start to play their game of being special by changing your perception from it is what it is to I know what it is. Read more about those perceptions in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. This, however, upsets you a lot because hardly anything goes your way. Fortunately, if not handling the frustration of being wrong, the untamed energy of it ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

In this way, you can go back and forth between the happiness of something (read more about that here) and the bliss of nothing (read more about that here) until you forget to disconnect from the empty breath, and there is neither bliss nor anything else that can be experienced, as the enlightenment of that which is one erases everything that requires more than one. Every thought and feeling is a reminder, that the appearance of something cannot cause suffering if the thoughts and feelings about it is not shared or justified with the world*, but used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, because in its indifference, thoughts and feelings are not specific, so they cannot define you as someone definitive, wherefore there is nobody to suffer.

As this is a state of not-knowing, it is not before you leave it and return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, that you sense there is no suffering when being indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive.

This is not to say, one should not take care of the body where one appears to reside. Even though the empty breath reveals, that it is a deception, it is through the illusion of being there, that you connect with the empty breath.

The connection cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you again want to experience yourself as someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma, if not being in a feedback loop with you as if you are separated from each other.

But if you do not want to appear as if you are a separated being, you do not mind the brain falling apart, so it no longer can map out empty space, as if you are someone in a world there. Hence there is not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

To make long short, regardless you want to remain as someone definitive or not, the state of not-knowing induced by the empty breath is bound to end so that the consciousness of being someone definitive can be resumed or totally erased.

No need to worry about having your consciousness totally erased by accidentally staying too long in a state of not-knowing. First of all, hardly anybody comes to the point where the brain starts falling apart, and should you reach that point but long to be someone, fear of survival will set in. That is enough to reboot the brain and bring you back to the experience of being someone definitive.

What you believe to be and see is fabricated by the brain, so when it runs out of oxygen, there is no more to be and see. Fortunately, this fabrication of you as someone with a beginning and an end is easily bypassed, because it is made from out of nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Even within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is, of course, an illusion that your experience of it is based on the info the brain claims to receives from the sensory system. This is just something it makes up to hide that the whole story of such a world is a fabrication done by itself.

The brain does not need your eyes to be open to producing vivid images of the world for you to ´see´. Nor does it require you to be awake or sexually stimulated by something in the world outside of you to produce an orgasm. It can make it happen in your dreams.

The brain only claims that your experiences are processed from the info coming through your sensory organs so that it can be true to its own story of you being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. This also applies to the experiences you perceive as spiritual. See All experiences are equally unreal.

Since this makes it looks like the person it has generated from out of nothing has conscious experiences, based on info coming from the person´s sensory system, in which it appears to be a substantial being in a tangible world, it believes to be real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The justification of a feeling* makes it seems to not come from you but from somebody else. But it is still in you, just not in your awareness but in the darkness of the body. To set it free, so the suppressed energy of it can ignite a take-off into the empty breath, you do not need to know what it is you have concealed or why.

You just have to acknowledge the state of numbness it entails by totally being that and nothing else, as this does not leave something to define it, wherefore a take-off into the empty breath spontaneously is ignited and the suppressed feeling revealed as nothing twisted into something special, so that you, although you also are nothing, can appear as if you are something important.

No worries, if you acknowledge the disappointment as yours instead of projecting it onto the world, it can be used to ignite another take-off into the empty breath. It wipes the slate clean, so there are no past memories to disturb you from perceiving everything as ´it is what it is.´ And though that does not entail the bliss of nothing, it brings about the happiness of something because ´it is what it is´ (read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy).

Totally feeling sad and being nothing but that, there is no happiness to contrast it. Thus you can neither be defined as sad or happy. You are nobody experiencing nothing specific. This emptiness, which is a sense of bliss so intense, that nothing seems to be wrong or missing, is in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings called a state of not-knowing. If you in the past have blocked out feelings of humiliation, rejection and inferiority, for example, by hiding them in the body, these feelings are intensely felt, when connecting with the empty breath, because the flow of it reveals everything hidden. Read more about suppressed feelings in hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

But if you do not try to exclude the sadness from the past, and instead include it by totally being it, there is nothing left to define you as sad. And, therefore, no sadness to define happiness. In other words, the complete inclusion of one side of a contrast cancels out both sides of the contrast. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing, which is like walking on air of bliss.

The full inclusion of a feeling is not to be confused with embracing it, going into it, for example. Those ideas come from the belief that you are someone definitive who experiences something specific, which can change or transform you into something better. Hence the belief in being someone definitive is enhanced and so are the contrasts making up duality.

Totally being a feeling is not something definitive because it cancels out the contrast to the feeling you are being, wherefore you cannot be defined as someone definitive, so if you do not want to be nobody but somebody, you start asking what being a feeling means or inventing explanations yourself instead of being it.

Being it, by the way, does not mean you go deep into the feeling – just like you do not need to go deep into a well to get water. What you do on the surface is the same. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

Not trying to experience anything specific but including everything exactly as it is, bring about a state of not-knowing because without excluding something, there is nothing to define you as someone.

Thus you are in the bliss of not-knowing what and where you are. This is also where you are when connecting with the empty breath, having glimpses of enlightenment, or applying any other duality hack except for the enlightenment of that which is one.

If these states of bliss are identical is not to know, because they are all states of not-knowing, which is a mix of empty space and the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, the brain has fabricated from that.

There is nobody in the bliss of not believing to be someone

In a state of not-knowing, there is not enough consciousness to be aware of yourself as someone definitive separated from what you experience to a world outside of you. But there is not enough consciousness in this mix to perceive the apparent differences in the world to make a difference, so you do not perceive yourself, nor the world, to be something. Thus you are in the bliss of nothing.

This lasts as long as you do not try to regain full consciousness (see Where to find the bliss of ´the empty breath´), but not more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to the experience of someone living in a capsule of time and space.

The enlightenment of that which is one, though, is not a state of not-knowing, because it totally erases the memory of ever having appeared to be someone definitive (see hack #6.2 The inward-facing senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it).

But we are so conditioned to believe, we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space, that the fear of annihilation takes over and we compulsively imagine seeing something definable in the light so that we again appear to be somebody in a world defined by time and space.

Since there is no more than that which is one, it only takes one to undo the belief it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, and since there still appear to be more than one, Buddha, Jesus or anybody else who has bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one followed a conditioned reflex to see more than one light, so a world where there seems to be more than one appeared to continue.

»Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It is your masterpiece, after all.« This quote seen on the web shows a widespread misunderstanding, namely that life is yours. In reality, it is the other way around, so the more you try to edit life in order to appear unique, the more suffering your uniqueness seems to cause you.

When something is over, it is only the story about it that stops. Life has no beginning and end because it is formless. So if you mourn the end of someone, it is not life but your story about it that makes you cry. This is how your story is made real and life unreal. That is if you forget, it is life, which makes it possible to make the story. Not forgetting that you love any story and its end.

The love of life, by the way, is not warm, or cold, or something else. Nor is it nothing, because it takes more than one to be anything and it is that which is one. That is why it lasts.

You may believe in free will, but it is nothing other than a belief. Appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is the brain that takes every decision you believe in making yourself, except when connected with the empty breath. But as it does not know of the world where you believe to be, it does not change anything but the belief that you are there.

And not believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, it does not seem to hide, there is no free will since it takes more than one to make a choice and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless and therefore endless.

Nothing can restrict the empty breath, because it has no need to be something definitive. Yet believing to be someone definitive is a restriction, that will cause the experienced of it to be confined. In other words, the empty breath is not something definitive, so it has nothing to be free from. It is what it is, in spite of you experiencing the expansion and contraction in the body to flow smoothly or not – or remembering the empty breath at all.

It is you, who do not feel free, because you are dependent on continually being acknowledged as someone definitive by somebody perceived to be outside of you in a physically, astral or online world. The feeling of imprisonment that this entails, you want to break out off, and as you assume the empty breath just like you is something definitive, you expect it has the same desire for freedom as you.

Fortunately, there is not something to solve and no feeling of imprisonment to heal, because going with the flow of the empty breath – no matter in what way it is experienced to be – you go with its indifference, and so the apparent difference of feeling free or imprisoned is not perceived to make a difference.

When you do not believe to be made of substantial elements, nor subtle or solid, empty space takes over. This can, of course, not be illustrated, so this yin-yang illustration is just simulating the swing of the empty breath. Read more about that here. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PREFACE:
Since the bliss of nothing that sets in when connected with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, it is not possible to connect with it when in the consciousness of being someone definitive. Thus the connection must be established before the brain, based on signals it claims to receive from our sensory system, delivers a convincing experience in which we are somebody definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Appearing to be someone definitive is, therefore, make-believe, no matter what and where you appear to be. Read more about empty space in the articles ´The empty breath´ is empty space and so is what you believe to be and Free to float in the void of ´the empty breath´.

On account of this taking one second for the brain to accomplish, there are countless seconds where a connection with the empty breath can be established by going back one second in linear time (see how in the articles Take-offs into ´the empty breath´, and How to ignite a take-off into ´the empty breath´ ). In those seconds unprocessed by the brain, there is nothing to define you and therefore no consciousness of being someone definitive, so there is no difference between the nothingness of you and that of the empty breath.

This has nothing to do with getting closer to your pure essence. You have no soul. You are nothing. Being with the empty breath, this becomes inevitably so obvious that there is not something to hide, there are no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

How to connect with the bliss of the empty breath

You connect with the empty breath by not connecting with the consciousness of you as someone definitive experiencing the tangible world that the brain spends a second to fabricate from the frequencies it imagines to receive from empty space. You can compare this to not turning on a video game because you rather want to experience the physical world – except that connecting with the empty breath is not a conscious experience but a state of not-knowing, and you have just a second to connect with it instead of the image the brain fabricate as if you are someone definitive. This is plenty of time, though, provided you are willing to not be conscious of something but be in the bliss of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The empty breath sees no separation, so it has no need to connect with you, no matter what and where you believe to be. On the other hand, you need to connect with it if you want to be indifferent to the belief in the brains conversion of empty space into a world where you seem to be someone who is separated from everything else by time and space. Forget about being conscious of the empty breath, as what you are conscious about is never the present but the past.

Having connected with the empty breath by going back one the second from your present experience to the nothingness that is unprocessed by the brain and then not picking up on the brain´s deceptive fabrication of you as someone living in a capsule of time and space, the unprocessed moment is extended into a state of not-knowing.

This state, though cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to a conscious experience of being someone definitive, because if the brain is not continuously occupied with thoughts, that seems to confirm the conscious experience of you as someone definitive, it falls into a coma.

Consequently, being in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, is the end of being something. This is because the signals the brain used to perceive to come from empty space can no longer be registered by it and processed into a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus there is not something that seems to cover up, there never was or will be anything else than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive

Is it the bliss of the empty breath that undoes the belief in being someone definitive, or is it the undoing of this belief that connects you with the bliss of the empty breath? Since this question arises from the belief in being someone definitive, which is an illusion fabricated by the brain, there is no answer to it, neither to who has invented this illusion or who choose to have the belief in it undone. Actually, there is no answer to anything. All questions are constructed from out of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Not that many, however, go into a state of not-knowing. If they do, they do not remain there more than a few seconds or minutes before returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive, in which they forget a state of not-knowing until blissful memories of it emerge.

How not to be deceived by the brains fabrication of the experiences where you appear to be someone definitive in a world of something and instead drift in the bliss of nothing is a question that cannot be answered, since it is founded on the belief that you are someone definitive, and the bliss of nothing comes from the indifference to that belief.

Neither can it be known if it is the empty breath or being indifferent to the belief in being someone that comes first concerning the sheer bliss of nothing. The only reason somebody wants to know this – or anything else in regard to a state of not-knowing – is that they believe to be defined by what they know and want to remain as that rather than being nobody in the bliss of not-knowing.

Thus the above about where to find the transparent bliss of nothing that the empty breath entails is not an attempt to answer the question but to rule it out. The same applies to the below, which is a further exploration of the above.

now is an illusion fabricated by the brain

You do not know what you are reading at this very moment because what you believe to read now is the brains delayed adaption of the signals it claims to have received from your eyes one second ago. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 1: IN THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Even though it only takes the brain a few milliseconds to register the signals, it has imagined that it receives from the eyes in this very moment, what you are conscious about right now is something else, because the brain needs a second more to process a conscious experience of those signals, so it can deceive you into believing they are the basis for what you experience to see now.

In other words, since your conscious experience of now is a delayed interpretation of nothing that it has taken one second ago to process, what you believe to read now you read in the past – or more to the point, you never read because one second ago there did not appear to be something to cover up nothing.

When not organising thoughts and feelings into specific categories, they do not seem to represent something in a substantial world. Hence there is nothing to block out the empty breath, that does not know of such a world or that you believe to be someone there. All it knows is the nothingness from which this fantasy has been made, because it is that nothingness.

now is a delayed interpretation of the past

The data that your experience of this image is based on, the brain claims to have received from your eyes one second ago. In other words, your experience of now is a delayed interpretation of the past fabricated by the brain to fool you into believing that you are someone definitive having your own life. Yet you have nothing of on your own, nor are you someone at all, because what you believe to be is a product of the brain made from out of nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As this means you are never in the present but the past, and as it is nothing and that is where the empty breath resides, the way to connect with it is to go back one second in linear time (see how in the articles Take-offs into ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off into ´the empty breath´ ), and thus not have a conscious experience of being someone in the world processed by the brain.

Since there is nobody in this state of not-knowing, there is not somebody to perceive the signals the brain claims to receive from the sensory system and processes into different experiences of substantial elements, making up a world where there seems to be more than one, to make a difference. Thus they are exposed to be a fantasy that hides they are a reflection of nothing and not of something, wherefore there are no differences that appear to separate you from the empty breath.

The experience of a dimensional world is a fabrication of the brain, which it produces by overlaying the flat signals it thinks the two eyes ireceives into one seamless image of a 3D world. See hack #2.3 Life is flat or hack #2.5 Size does not matter.

what you believe to be is the brain

The brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct a self, that through singled out memories, feelings and imaginations, makes up an exciting story about itself, stored all over the brain as if it is you. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Just five per cent of the brain is used to shape the conscious experience of ourselves as somebody defined by time and space. Much more space, though, is needed to establish this experience as real. Hence a big part of the brain is continuously occupied with thoughts about ourselves as if they are caused by a tangible world experienced to revolve around us and therefore seem to confirm, we are somebody definitive in it. See also ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

If not kept busy by making it appear, as if there is something where there is nothing, the brain falls into a coma, so you can only remain as if you are someone in the tangible world fabricated by it, if you do not float too long in the transparent bliss of nothing, that the empty breath entails.

It seems that when the brain is not kept busy with thoughts, that we believe in making ourselves about our relationship with the world (see The ins and outs of the inward-facing senses) for 20 minutes, 45 at the most, it falls apart. And since all the memories we have selected to back up what we believe to be are stored in the brain, this belief falls apart.

When you look for something better, a state of not-knowing is fenced off, until you are so fed up with looking for the best, the almost involuntary reflex to divide the world into better and worse is dismissed in favour for the indifference of the empty breath. Connecting with it, therefore, is not a matter of doing it right but having had enough of that.

Consequently, a state of not-knowing cannot last too long at a time if you want to return to the conscious experience of being someone. This is not a problem, though, because most leave it as soon as the uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions has ignited it (see Take-offs into ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off into ´the empty breath´ ).

In the bliss of the empty breath you are indifferent to being and having more

The urge to be and have more is the cause of all suffering because more want more, so you will never be or have enough. That is not a problem, though, when connected with the empty breath, as it is indifferent to differences. Hence you always have enough. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

That is because the urge to be someone definitive is so deep-rooted that it paves the way for the brain to break through the bliss of nothing with its version of you as someone who has special relationships with something or somebody.

Since nothing appears to make a difference in a state of not-knowing, there is no special place to go or someone special to love. Thus having a need for something special, feels like being inside an unbreakable armour of pain instead of floating in the bliss of nothingness.

If not trying to escape this feeling of claustrophobia but feel that and nothing else, there is nothing to define it as something, so you are back in the bliss of nothing.

Compared to this vision of you as someone special who can choose what to be and have, the transparent bliss of nothingness seems boring because there is nobody to be excited about being and having something unique.

Love and empathy are like other feelings created by the brain, so that the experience of you as someone definitive seems to be a happy one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you go with the flow, for example to have sex with somebody, the brain rewards you by releasing dopamine to make you happy.

Like everything else, the excitement of sex does not last and, therefore, neither the shots of happiness. But if sex is replaced with empathy for your partner, the brain injects you with shots of oxytocin – also called ´the hugging hormone´ – that makes you so happy that you wish to be a family with a baby to cuddle.

Therefore, a state of not-knowing is left by imagining you are special and in charge of your life, so you can choose a spouse who acknowledges you as unique. However, it is hard work to live up to the expectations of being special, and it seldom results in the excitement you imagined. So one day, you prefer to use your frustration as a take-off into the empty breath (see how in the articles Take-offs into ´the empty breath´ and How to ignite a take-off into ´the empty breath´ ), and instead float in the bliss of nothing, that arises from the indifference to the desire of being and having something special.

The bliss of the empty breath has no centre

The flow of the empty breath goes in all directions – up and down, back and forth, from right to left, or anywhere in between – within its non-definable borders of a circle with no fixed centre or size (see the illustrations in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?).

It makes no difference to the empty breath, though, what direction you follow or how much you are connected with it. Your willingness to connect is all that it wants (see the paragraph The only requirement is a willingness in ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone). If it is there, the empty breath automatically syncs the inner and outward-facing senses, so the sense of tranquillity in the inner ones helps you to get through the sense of turbulence in the outer ones (see What and where are the inner and outward-facing senses).

You cannot know what is in your own best interest, because you believe to be someone in need of something. The empty breath, however, knows what you believe in being and having is not something but nothing. Thus what you need is not the excitement of something but the bliss of nothing.

This does not mean it will seem easier to get a new spouse, more money and whatnot in the world of the outward-facing senses, but that it becomes apparent it makes no difference what you appear to be and have. That which is you is not a limited creature stuck in a capsule of time and space but the formlessness of oneness.

In the bliss of the empty breath you do not know what and where you are

In a state of not-knowing, you do not know what and where you are. No worries. It is not needed. On the contrary, it is the assumption that you know what and where you are that clouds the bliss of not-knowing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

As described above, inclusiveness eventually results in a state of not-knowing (see hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is completeness). But pretending to be someone instead of believing that (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive) also does that. And so does having glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #6.2 The enlightenment of that which is one cannot be found in a world where there seems to be more than one, but glimpses of it can), or perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is one (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life), or acknowledging that the experience of such a world is something you have alone together (see hack #7 ´Alone together´ is the key to that which is one).

All Alexius´ Duality Hacks except the enlightenment of that which is one, eventually, result in a state of not-knowing. If they differ from each other, is not to say, as there are only vague memories of not believing to be someone.

It takes time for the brain to imagine it receives something from our eyes that it can process into a coherent experience of you beeing a substantial being that sees elements of matter outside of yourself.

The brain of a baby does not know how to do this. But in order to incorporate the baby´s experiences into the collective agreed way of seeing the world, the brain quickly learns how to produce a coherent right-side-up image of the world, so it seems the baby shares its experience of the world with everybody else.

The brain deceives you to fence off the bliss of the empty breath

When the brain every now and then screens out what you see, so you do not get seasick from the movement of your eyes, it fills the gaps based on past memories. But as they most often have been heavily edited, the story fabricated by the brain to fill in the gaps may clash with the story of the present that others have. The discrepancy, therefore, makes you feel that something is wrong with you or the world. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 2: IN THE WORLD OF SOMETHING
You are probably not aware that every now and then throughout the day, you are literally blind. This is because the brain screens out what you see to prevent you from getting seasick when the eyes move. You do not notice that you are blind two hours a day because the brain hides this by filling the gaps with visual impressions of what it imagines to be there.

In the first episodes of a new TV show, there are normally hints pointing to the forthcoming episodes, and since the brain thrives from envisaging what is going to happen next, it is captured into anticipating the future of the characters and thus enchanted by its own predictions into a state of amusement.

The writers of Game of Thrones try to hook you up and fence of the bliss of the empty breath

The writers of ´Game of Thrones´ want us to bond emotionally with the characters, so that we feel attracted to them as if they are real and not just a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But if the writers of the show do not comply with their own hints when inventing the next episodes, the future of the characters does not turn out as predicted by the brain. Thus the fate of the characters becomes a mystery, that the brain hopes to unravel in the following episodes, wherefore it compels you to stick with the show until the very end. In other words, it is not you but the brain that is in charge.

The predictions fabricated by the brain to fill the gaps of blindness are basically a remix of memories that have been adjusted every time recalled to boost the story of you as someone in a tangible world, so it may not match how others see the same events.

Hence, you conclude that something is wrong in your story or in that of others, and you start trying to correct what is judged to be incorrect.

There is nobody in the bliss of the empty breath

You do not read this article, but what your brain predicts that you want to read. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The more you appear to be successful in this, the more it seems that the story can be shaped so that it comes out with a better version of you. Yet, no matter how the story is corrected, it remains a fantasy, and so does the idea that it has an author.

Just like within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, a dream does not have an author or anything substantial in it, neither the dreamer. And it is not in the dreamer or anywhere else. It is a deception made to look as if nothing is something.

Fortunately, the brain cannot make the empty breath look like something, so when we are in its bliss of nothing, we are not deceived by the experiences produced by the brain to perceive them as something.

How many triangles are there in this image?
The brain automatically fills in the missing pieces in this image to make you see two triangles. Thus you probably do not agree that the grey triangle is an illusion and the one partly framed by a black stroke is disconnected. But if you cover the three incomplete black circles, the grey triangle disappears and the other one appears fragmented.

Since it is the brain not only decides what we see but also what we hear, feel, smell and taste, we are not free, but something fabricated and controlled by the brain into believing, we are somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, and not the formlessness of that which is one.

Consequently, there is nothing to heal but the sick belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, which automatically happens when connecting with the empty breath that takes us back one second in linear time to the nothingness from where the brain has rendered your present experience of something.

This does not mean, that the empty breath is the formlessness of that which is one because it takes more than one to be something, but that it metaphorically speaking is the door to that which is one.

In the bliss of the empty breath the belief in duality is undone

In a state of not-knowing, the brain cannot establish the everyday consciousness of you as someone definitive. This does not mean, though, that the awareness of you as someone definitive is replaced by something better, higher or purer but by no consciousness. Thus there is nobody to be aware of the bliss that comes from not believing to be someone. That is why it is like walking in the air. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PART 3: WHEN APPARENTLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES ARE NOT PERCEIVED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In a state of not-knowing, you are blind in a sense that there is no conscious experience of you as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Thankfully this is resolved by the empty breath and not the brain. It continues to process what it claims to receive from senses as if it is something and not nothing. Still, since the empty breath is indifferent to the apparently different experiences of something, there is no awareness in the connectedness with the empty breath of how the brain categorises them in contrasts of, for example, good or bad, right or wrong, love or hate, within and without and so on.

Though a world where there seems to be more than one is seen in the usual way when in a state of not-knowing, its apparent differences are not believed to make a difference. Thus there is no experience of being someone definitive and therefore nobody to be happy, sad or anything else.

This does not mean that there are no feelings. but that nobody relate them to them as if they make a difference.

Consequently, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be judged to make a difference. Thus there is nothing special to love or hate and, therefore, nothing specific to worry about.

The bliss of the empty breath is the bliss of nothing

When the body, that you appear to be living in, again and again drops something, you could be defined as clumsy. If you believe this and feel guilty about it, you might want to change it.

But as every effort to improve yourself is based on the belief, that there is something wrong with you, your efforts are not changing this belief but enhancing it. You secretly accept this, because even though you do not like to be defined as clumsy, it is preferable to not being defined, because that means you are nobody.

Yet being nobody, there is not somebody to be clumsy or something else. There is just the bliss of nothing.

The bliss of the empty breath is not the end station

A state of not-knowing is not the terminus but a way to see that there is no end and that everything which appears to have it is an illusion because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Be aware that the connectedness with the empty breath is not similar to being connected with that which is one. The latter is not possible because it takes more than one to be connected with something.

The connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath is simply a way to overlook the apparently different experiences fabricated by the brain so that they are not judged to make a difference, and a world where there seems to be more than one, therefore, does not appear to establish the belief in separation.

Going with the flow of the empty breath is just as easy as going with the flow of sex. The latter though does not result in the undoing of the belief, that you are someone definitive, unless the orgasm is used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In the sense that no thinking is needed, following the flow of the empty breath is no different from following the flow of the genitals. The result of the latter though is the enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive instead of undoing it.

This is not to say though, that sex should be avoided (see Holding back to not ejaculate is just another physical manifestation – but without the physical thrill of it), because the exclusion of sex or anything else adds to the definition of you as someone definitive. Actually, an orgasm can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. That is, if you do not hold back, but are nothing else than that.

Despite the connectedness with the indifference of the empty breath, eventually undoes the belief in separation, it also enhances it because it requires more than one to be connected with something.

The problems, you perceive to have, do not come from the world where you appear to be, but from the belief that you are someone there. Hence the solution to all the problems is the same, namely the undoing of that belief.

The same applies to let go of the connectedness with the empty breath or something else. Therefore, to not enhance but have the belief in separation undone, you do not choose to connect with the empty breath or anything else. Hence you are connected with nothing and thus in the flow of the empty breath.

What and where are the inward-facing and outward-facing senses

In Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, the abstract world we can experience inside us is referred to as the world of the inward-facing senses, and the tangible world that we experience outside of us as the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, both experiences are founded on the same frequencies of nothingness supposedly hitting the same senses.

In other words, as the world of the inward-facing senses is seen, heard, felt and tasted via the same organs that seem to pick up the world of the outward-facing senses, the inner and outward-facing senses are not different organs but different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of nothingness, that seem to hit the senses.

»If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light« (Matt 6:22, King James Bible)

That being said, the organ used for the visual experience of the outer and inner world is not exactly the same because the inner sense of sight does not come from two eyes but from having them merged into one* on top of the two eyes. This single eye is by some called the third eye.

Within and without makes no difference when the inner an outer senses are in sync

The world of the inward-facing senses is experienced to be abstract because the frequencies of nothingness hitting the senses have not yet been processed by the brain to appear as if they are physical elements in the world of the outward-facing senses, that is the version of the same frequencies the brain processes in such a way, that we appear to be somebody definitive who have a conscious experience of being in a substantial world.

But as it takes more than one to experience something and as there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, any experience is an illusion, regardless it seems to come from the outer or inward-facing senses.

Consequently, the above distinction between inward and outward-facing senses and their existence and a brain receiving something real from senses is part of the non-existing brains plot to deceive you into believing you are experiencing something where there is nothing.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are


The abstract world of the inward-facing senses is experienced when time and space are not entirely believed to be real. Ultimately speaking, though, the experience of an inner world is no more real than the experience of an outer world because any kind of experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. It is, therefore, only in the context of the belief that there is someone to believe this, that there seems to be an experience an abstract world, which is only lightly processed by the brain from the frequencies of nothingness and a substantial world that is heavily processed by the brain from the same frequencies.**

The abstract experience of an inner world opens up when you do not entirely believe to be someone definitive. Hence there is little left of this belief when you are in the inner world, otherwise, there would be nobody to experience the abstractness of the inner world. In other words, when you appear to be nobody in the world of the inward-facing senses, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody because somebody is needed to register the experiences of nobody. Thus the abstractness of nothing you experience in the world of the inward-facing senses is slightly something.

As these intangible experiences that the brain uses a split second to produce are an incomplete version of the outer world, the brain uses one more second to fabricate the experience of an inner world closer to nothing than the experience of an external world. Actually, what you experience right now in the world of the outward-facing senses happened one second ago – or more to the point, it never happened because the frequencies that seem to hit the senses and from which the experience is a fabrication of something from nothing.

Thus experiencing the frequencies hitting the senses to be an abstract world is closer to reality than experiencing them to be a substantial world. Not in the sense, though, that you are closer to being here and now because the truth is that which is one and it takes more than one to be anywhere, but in the sense that the inner world exposes the world of the outward-facing senses to be nothing but empty space and thus the world of the inward senses as well because without the world of the outward-facing senses it cannot be experienced.

Hence you come to a point in the world of the inward-facing senses, where there is no point or anything else to experience, nor that the enlightenment of that which is one comes out of this point, that for a moment looks like a black hole.** And so there is not something to hide that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of oneness.

Should you wonder, who choose to believe the fabrication of the brain is real and who wonders about this, read the paragraph ´What you believe to be does not exist´ in ´The empty breath´ and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

The inner and outer senses are nowhere

Since it takes more than one to experience you are nobody or be in a state of not-knowing, this is not the goal. But since it also requires more than one to have a purpose, there is no goal but being indifferent to anything that requires more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Consequently, the enlightenment of that which is one neither occurs in the inner or outer world or somewhere else. It is the end of every experience, and then again, it is not the end of anything because it takes more than one to believe something, and there is no more than that which is one. In other words, every experience of something, whether it is spiritual or mundane, is nothing.

In a state of not-knowing, that the empty breath induces, you are more nobody than somebody. And as the memories of you as someone definitive mostly are gone, you are in the bliss of being indifferent to what and where you appear to be.

Contrary to the enlightenment of that which is one, the connection with the empty breath does not terminate your appearance as someone definitive. Within the context of this appearance, it syncs the inner and outer world, so being nobody is balanced with being somebody per what and where you appear to be.

The inner and outer senses are a fantasy

The empty breath is not specifically about being in the world of the inward-facing senses or anywhere else than in its flow of indifference. And wherever that appears to take you does not matter, because you are in its flow of indifference.

In a deep sleep, for example, you are almost a hundred per cent nobody and just a few percents somebody, so that the glimpses of enlightenment* nobody is having in a deep sleep can be registered by somebody. But driving a car, the empty breath makes sure you are almost a hundred per cent present as the chauffeur and just enough per cent of nobody to not get stressed.

Experiences of enlightenment is not the enlightenment of that which is one. It cannot be experienced, but glimpses of it can.**

Being connected with the empty breath, you may have glimpses of enlightenment, but you do not know before afterwards because, having them, you are in a state of not-knowing.*** However, this is not a state that reveals reality, but that anything experienced is a fantasy made from empty space.

What and where the inner and outward-facing senses are cannot be answered, as they are an imagination made from nothing.

Having that revealed, you are set free from the belief in being someone somewhere, and though it may sound strange for those who believe to be somewhere, being nowhere is pure bliss.

APPENDIX:
Keeping a balance between the inner and outward-facing senses or anything else has nothing to do with spirituality since it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to be in balance. However, in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is beneficial to have the empty breath balance the world of the inner and outward-facing senses, so glimpses of enlightenment from the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation of how to perceive the world of the outward-facing senses, namely as an illusion.

By doing that, you relate to the world of the outward-facing senses like you do to a video game. It is not real. Yet you have fun pretending that it is. This is not to say that spirituality is inside, but that with the outer senses partially closed, it is easier to grasp that a world where there seems to be more than one is an imagination used to hide that spirituality is that which is one, and since it takes more than one to be somewhere, it is nowhere.

When this insight is the foundation of being somewhere, it can be pretty fun pretending to in the world of the outward-facing senses – just like within the context of that world, pretending to be someone in the virtual world of a video game is quite entertaining, because you know it is not real.

When Alexius many years ago was hired to teach graphic design in an advertising school in Denmark, he had a problem. Even though he had been designing magazines, websites, flyers and ads for companies big and small, he did not know how to do it. He did everything as a medium for the projects so his design could highlight their content.

To provide the students with guidelines on how to design, he had to deduct ways of creating from his instinctive way of doing it. He wrote, by the way, two books with basic rules of how to do it and a book on colour theory.

How to explain the empty breath?
Regarding passing on guidelines of how to connect with the empty breath and drift in its bliss of emptiness and thus indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, he is in the same situation as when he started teaching design. He had no professional training to refer to. Likewise, he has no second-hand knowledge, which he can use as a reference to explaining how to connect with the empty breath.

Neither does he know how to explain that what and where we experience to be is an artificial construct, designed by the brain to control and manipulate us into believing that this experience is genuine and not fabricated by the brain from nothing.

But since he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he does not believe in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor does he believe to be someone in that which is one. On the contrary, he is nothing because it takes more than one to be someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. In other words, what and where we appear to be is a fantasy made from out of nothing and experienced by nothing.

However, in this fantasy, he knows how to step away from it and be in the state of not-knowing* that the empty breath, like the other duality hacks, entails. Once, in that state, he watched a movie (You Disappear), which quoted the latest scientific explorations about the brain, that might help realise everything appearing to be something is nothing.

Consciousness is a construction of thoughts comparable to the ones and zeros in a stream of binary code.

The fabrication of something from nothing
The short version of these discoveries is that the brain uses five per cent of its capacity to construct an image of a self that is aware of being someone definitive through the experiences, another small part of the brain continuously fabricate a tangible world as if it is outside of the self and as if it is the self that experiences this, and, therefore, believe to be someone substantial in a tangible world. Especially because this world seems to cause its thoughts and feelings.

These experiences of an external world the brain claim to process from the frequencies it receives via the sensory system, but this explanation, just like the experiences it fabricates, is a smokescreen to cover up, that it is all made up from nothing. A flower, therefore, is just as unreal as a plastic simulation of it.

Being in the bliss of not believing to be someone is to be empty

Science states, the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The experiences interpreted as the most meaningful ones, namely those that seem to define you the most, are stored in the rest of the brain. And as the sum of these memories constitute what you believe to be, you are not just a fabrication of the brain, you and the brain are the same. Every bit of it – not only ten per cent – works to make it appear as if you are someone in a world of something and not just a fantasy made from out of nothing.

Whether an experience seems direct or comes from the heart, physical or spiritual, it has taken the brain a second to generate it. Hence what you believe to be experiencing now happened one second ago. And then again, it never happened because one second ago, there was nothing, and it only seems as if you experience something now because you need to believe this to feel you exist.

The rest of the article is not based on the scientific discoveries revealed in the movie (You Disappear), nor on anything else formulated somewhere else, as to the knowledge of Alexius, nobody has published anything about the empty breath. In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Thus there are no diversity to attest to you being someone in a world of duality. Consequently, you are in the bliss of nothing.*

The bliss of nothing
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing and therefore is make-believe, they go on exploring something as it is real. Here, however, we explore how to see, there is not something at all and, therefore, not someone seeing it.

The experiences the brain fabricates of a tangible world only seems real if the self that the brain also has created perceives them as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing, likewise the self. Thus, to perceive the present experience as nothing, you go back to the empty void from where the brain has twisted it into your everyday experience of something.

Since that is where the empty breath resides, and it took the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing and thus the bliss of nothing.* Doing that does not require you to meditate or something else in particular. All that is needed is the willingness to forget what and where you appear to be. Read more about that in the below paragraph The only requirement is willingness.

If the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seems to confirm there is more than involved, for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing* very long at a time, if you want to be able to return to a world of something as if you are someone there.  See also the hack 20 minutes, 45 at most in Extra Duality Hacks.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

Since you cannot appear to be somewhere, nor in a state of not-knowing,* without the experience of being someone, there is still someone to experience the world of something made up by the brain when in a state of not-knowing*. But the experience of you as someone is so vague that there is not enough consciousness to perceive the apparently different experiences of something to make a difference. Consequently, there is no perception of separation to hide, that although the fantasy of something is a colourful experience, it is pale in comparison with the bliss of nothing.*

Although you probably forget the empty breath, it remains connected with you, because it does not know, that you believe to be someone who is separated from everything in the low-frequency world experienced by the outward-facing senses.

Yet it senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs it with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, which is indifferent to the restlessness that speedy thoughts and feelings seem to produce in the world of the outward-facing senses.

The inner and outward-facing senses
When we are not connected with the empty breath, and therefore not in the blissful state of not-knowing* but in the happiness of the basic self or the nervousness of the special self, the empty breath is still with us, provided we, just once, have connected with it, because it does not know of separation. Read about the basic and special self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

Thus the empty breath always functions as an automatic gear change between the outer and inward-facing senses to make the abstractness in the world of the inward-facing senses the base from where the world of the outward-facing senses is perceived, so it does not appear to consist of something but nothing when in a state of not-knowing and not in that state the experiences of something are perceived as ´it is what it is.´ Consequently, none of the experiences is something special, including you as someone, so you are not happy or sad but happy-sad. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

As any experience is an illusion, it includes the experience of the empty breath. But as this illusion unveils the bliss of nothing,* which, contrary to the experince of something, is not experinced to end, you eventually stop asking for more. Hence the belief, that it is possible to be an have more than that which is one is undone.

These experiences, of course, only makes sense as long as you believe you are someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses, but assuming that is like believing in Santa Claus.

Fortunately, the connectedness with the empty breath exposes this, so the bliss of not believing to be anything is the last thing, you experience before the belief in being someone is undone and therefore does not seem to cover, there never was or will be more than that which is one, since it is formless and therefore endless.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Going with the flow of the empty breath, you become indifferent to what you get, so if you want something specific, you must disconnect from it and accept the stress that comes from not being in the flow of nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The synchronisation of the inner and outward-facing senses
To take the edge out of the stress we feel in the world of the outward-facing senses, the empty breath synchs it with the world of the inner ones. Not because this world is more peaceful, but because it is a high-frequency world. Thus the speedy and restless energy that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem stressful.

It is not thoughts as such, that prevents us from going with the flow of nothing, but the desire to use them to accomplishing something specific.

That being said, you might not want his synchronisation because although it results in indifference to stress, it may not help you to get what you have stressed to achieve. This is why most like to avoid the flow of the empty breath and endure the hassle of obtaining what they desire.

Like a pencil cannot make its scribblings go away but an eraser can, you cannot make your scribblings as someone definitive go away but the empty breath can.

However, if they get it, they do not feel satisfied but disappointed because the need for more is still there. This, they try to tone down through meditation, yoga or other techniques that seem to hide that all they care about is to become and have more at the expense of anybody (see No manifestation is real).

The more the connectedness with the empty breath cancels out the contrasts of duality – for example happiness and sadness – the more you are indifferent to what and where you appear to be in a world of duality.

Time is nothing in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Without the basic contrast of expansion and contraction, there is no experience of life. Yet what we experience as life is actually death because life is formless and thus without a beginning and end, so anything that does not last is lifeless. It is, however, the life that makes it possible to have fantasies about being a limited being in a lifeless world – just like within the context of such a world, it is only due to that, you can imagine being someone you are not in the virtual world of a video game. You do not connect with the empty breath at your own pace
While Alexius was writing about the empty breath, he deducted ways to ignite it from his instinctive way of doing it. For example, using the unedited energy of the stress arising from the belief in being someone definitive ignites a take-off into the empty breath. Read more about that in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

There is nothing to know, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless. So although there seem to be lots to know, when appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is only one thing to know in regards to the formlessness of oneness, namely that there is nothing to know.

That is why Alexius´ Enlightened NonTeachings is not about learning something new but to unlearn everything. This you can do by reading all of them – or flip through them – until they automatically apply one or more of Alexius´ Duality Hacks and brings you in a state of not-knowing, in which there is nobody to perceive the person fabricated by the brain as real. Hence there is nothing but the bliss of being indifferent to any kind of belief.

That being said, when it comes to the practical aspects of appearing to be someone definitive, you should not avoid learning and knowing something, or being and having more. It is self-evident, however, when connected with the empty breath. Its indifference to differences makes it impossible to choose anything yourself. Thus you just go with the flow of doing something exciting. In other words, you are are having the belief in being someone undone, while enjoing it to its fullest.

If this is what you want, it is not important whether you read hack #4, Being in a state of not-knowing from beginning to end or just browse it. What is essential is to not focus on anything in particular, nor to spend time processing or integrating it, as that enhances the belief in being someone. Only those believing to be special have the need to do things in their own pace.

The bliss of not believing to be someone does not come from something but nothing

Looking for something you can relate to as your true self in the teachings of a guru, for example, you do not look for that which is real because it is no different from that which is one, and it takes more than one to look for something. So do not read about the empty breath with the expectation of finding something to make you or the world better, but to become indifferent to what and where you appear to be. In other words, the less you seem to know something, the less something appears to hide, what you believe to be is nothing. Hence there is not something to separate you from the empty breath.

It is not necessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to have it undone.

The only requirement is a willingness to not be someone definitive
Leaving your comfort zone of knowing what and where you are is not done by fighting or transforming your learned behaviour, but by being willing to undo the belief that makes it possible to appear as if you are conditioned by something, namely the belief in being someone definitive.

About willingness see also Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This willingness most often comes from admitting that the appearance of you as someone definitive is not a matter of fact but make-believe. That you accept when you acknowledge, you are not willing to undo the belief in being someone definitive because the acknowledgement confirms what you appear to be is make-believe.

Since nothing matters when connected with the empty breath, you are free to have fun.

Having the belief in being someone definitive undone does not mean that you as someone seems to be gone, reborn or awaken. Like within the context of this belief, the appearance of Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. It is the belief that he is real that stops. However, there is one difference between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone, or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed because now you are free to enjoy being someone definitive in a fantasy about Santa Claus, having a family and whatnot.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being anything is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

The empty breath can be felt like a swing of nothingness, that makes the body expand and contract and thereby supply it with oxygen. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Just like everything else sensed, it is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribe it with a specific shape and colour. But as the brain cannot conceive nothingness without falling into coma, the empty breath remains invisible and colourless.

How does it feel
The connection with the empty breath can be experienced as described by Alexius in the articles What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?, and To be nobody and yet somebody. But do not count on it. His experience of it is not static. And even if it were, you and Alexius may experience it in each your own way – just like when drinking the same cup of tea, for example. Besides, the main attribute of the empty breath is indifference, which is hardly an experience.

On top of that, it may not even be the empty breath revealed through the willingness to not uphold the belief in being someone definitive. Instead, maybe it is the enlightenment of that which is one or glimpses of it (see the article A reintroduction to the inward-facing senses, the enlightenment of that which is one and glimpses of it), or the freedom that comes from pretending to be what you are not (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

Everything is new in the bliss of not believing to be someone

Even though some plants are edible, not all of them are. Often the most beautiful of them should not be eaten if you want to remain as someone living in a capsule of time and space. And if you do not want to end when your appearance there is over, you better avoid beautiful ideas like living in the nowcoming from the heart and being transformed, because they are based on the belief in being someone definitive, and everything definitive, contrary to the formlessness of oneness, has an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What you believe in being does not exist
Should you wonder, who chooses to believe, that the image fabricated by the brain of someone definitive is you, or who has programmed the brain to produce this image, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody, because the experience of being somebody, whether in a so-called spiritual or physical sense, is, within this experience, comparable to being in a dream. There is nobody in it. Thus the empty breath and the other duality hacks are as dreamlike as anything else in the experience of being someone definitive, no matter what and where that seems to be.

Appearances do not matter in the bliss of not believing to be someone

There are many ways to appear as if you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in its dream, and therefore not returning to its bed when the dream is over. But contrary to the illusions of the many belief systems in the world, Alexius´ Duality Hacks do not attempt to transform or make the world better but expose that everything experienced is made from out of nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath, for example, you become indifferent to the differences in the experiences produced by the brain. Hence you do not believe that you are someone definitive separated from others but that it is something you pretend to be.

And as what you pretend to be, you are not, that which is you does not end when the brain cannot produce the experience of you as someone anymore. Until then, it is much fun pretending to be what and where you are not.

Pretending to be someone definitive undoes the belief in being it, because what you pretend to be you are not. Read about this in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

APPENDIX:
Since Alexius is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one, he perceives every experience as nothing. Thus the distinction he makes between a state of not knowing and the experience of being someone definitive can be shaped by that. In other words, there might be a slight mix up in the description of the bliss of nothing* and its after-effect, which comes from having had the slate wiped clean, so you return from a state of not-knowing in the default mode of the basic self, and, therefore, automatically is synced with the brain and thus in the happiness of something (read more about that here).

However, most of the explanations of how to connect with the empty breath are not geared towards the basic but the special self, as that is the most common way of being in the world of the outward-facing senses. Fortunately, the stress that comes from keeping together the image of being special can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, provided you do not try to deal with the stress yourself.

On the other hand, the basic self does not need the unedited energy of stress to connect with the empty breath. It easily becomes so laid-back that it does not perceive feeling fulfilled as better than depressed, neither being right to be better than wrong. These or any other feelings are not perceived as something specific. Hence there is nothing to hide the bliss of emptiness.

This does not mean that feelings of anger or love, for example, does not pop up but that no feeling is perceived to make a difference. Thus they all reveal the bliss of nothing* when the basic self is so laid-back that its basic perception is ´dunno what it is

The bliss of nothing [draft]

When you hike, you need to take a break from it. And so do you from the conscious experience of being someone by being in a state of not-knowing. Just like you start afresh after a break from hiking, you start renewed – or rather re-established  – after a state of not-knowing, because it wipes the slate clean. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1: THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your wellbeing as someone definitive, as well as the undoing of the belief in being that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of us as somebody.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time, if you want to continue the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the conscious experience of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, which the empty breath entails and in which the slate is wiped clean and you, therefore, return to the conscious experience of being someone as the basic self. Read more about the basic self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath so that when it expands the body, you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and in a state of not-knowing when it contracts the body. Returning to that which is one is not a matter of going anywhere. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so it is not possible to leave it. Nevertheless, it seems possible to believe that it is. It is not a matter of letting go or surrender since doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does try to figure out, if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it really makes no difference, which way you experience it to go.

What you believe in being is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are errased.

Since you, therefore, do not perceive yourself to be special when returning to the conscious experience of being someone, there is no need for something specific to define you, so it is easy returning to a state of not-knowing. When in the flow of going back and forth between knowing and not-knowing, the belief in being someone undone is one day undone. You do not wonder about when because you are enjoying being in the flow.

Besides, time is an illusion, and every experience is bound to end, as in a state of not-knowing the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, so one by one they are cancelled out.

When every so often connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, so they cannot be used to make a perception of you as someone making a difference.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out the differences and insist on some of them makes a difference, for example if you are in a friendship or a romantic relationship. Fortunately, the frustration that seems to arise from claiming to know what is right can be used to ignite a take-off into ´the empty breath´.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences, because it cancels out differences and without them, there is nothing definable to experience. And thus not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one as it is formless and therefore endless.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

This does not mean oneness is revealed. It is not possible because that requires more than one. But what appears to hide it can be exposed as nothing. That is what Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is about, namely to reveal that what you perceive to experience as something is nothing, included what you believe to be. Since realising this requires more than one, it is only is possible in a world where there seems to be more than one, and since it is a world of linear time, this is a process in time.

The willingness to realise this is often initiated by admitting, you are not willing to recognise that what you believe to be is nothing because by acknowledging this, you agree that what you appear to be is make-believe and therefore not that which is you.

PART 2: THE AFTER-EFFECT OF THE BLISS OF NOTHING
When you return from a state of not-knowing to the belief in being someone definitive and have forgotten the bliss of not believing that, the empty breath remembers it for you – also if you only remember the empty breath once in a while. And just like it syncs being nobody with being somebody in a state of not-knowing, so you are able to move around in nothing as if it is something, it also does that in the after-effect of it. The ratio is different, though.

In a state of not-knowing, there is so little consciousness of being somebody that the apparently different experiences are not perceived to make a difference, so you are in the bliss of nothing. But in the after-effect of that, the empty breath syncs the bliss of nothing with the consciousness of something in relation to what and where you appear to be, so that emptiness is forgotten when you need to be conscious of something like driving a car. In other words, in a state of not-knowing, you are first of all nobody, and in the after-effect, you are mostly somebody.

When someone is hurt in a movie, that you are watching, you may also feel hurt. That is why the movie seems real. But since the film is not perceived to be real, feeling hurt seems entertaining. This is how it is to be connected with the empty breath. Though the world appears to be real, you perceive it as unreal. Hence its apparent ups and downs are equally enjoyable.

But since your slate is wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, there are no misperceptions of being special in the after-effect of it. Thus you are the basic. It perceives every experience as it is what it is, so no matter in which ratio nothing and something are sync by the empty breath, each experience makes it equally entertaining to appear as if you are someone definitive. This after-effect lasts from a few seconds to several years if you do not stop it by wishing to be special.

This is often done with new-age concepts of being in balance, the now and whatnot. That is until you are so frustrated from trying to make these concepts work, and you do not attempt to fix the disappointment but have its unedited energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath, so you again have your slate wiped clean in a state of not-knowing and return to the consciousness of being someone as the basic self. You are in a state of not-knowing when you do not know what and where you and your beloved ones are. Yet it is your devotion to what you and they appear to be, that exposes the nothingness of this appearance.

To see that your hidden grievances are nothing disguised as something is as simple as recognising the nothingness of this haze. You do not need to analyse or understand it but to go into it with eyes wide open. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3: WHERE IS THE BLISS OF NOTHING?
Although what and where we believe to be is experienced to be somewhere, it is nowhere, because it is an experience created by the brain from out of nothing. The brain is as immaterial as the experiences it fabricates, but it uses them to make itself appear as if it is a material thing in a physical being, who seems to have the experiences of a tangible world that the brain fabricates and, therefore, believes to be a substantial being in a world made of solid elements.

In the context of this illusion, where nothing seems to be something, a state of not-knowing is a version of nothing that has not been processed by the brain into an experience of something. Read more about that here. In a world that is experienced to be something, a state of not-knowing may in an abstract way appear to originate from the back of the head, when all the grievances that have been stored there are acknowledged as old friends, and, therefore, do not appear to create pressure in your head but sheer bliss. Yet the whole brain will never be in a transparent bliss of nothing.

The way to become friends with old complaints is not to get rid of them or understand them, nor to forgive those you resent for having caused them, but to acknowledge what the grievances make you feel by being that and nothing else, so there is not something to contrast what you feel, wherefore neither you nor what you feel is definable. Hence you are in the bliss of not knowing what and where you appear to be.

PART 1: UNEDITED SPEED BRINGS YOU INTO THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Oneness is contrary to the common belief, not the same as stillness but loudness. That is if the speed of it could be experienced. But that is not possible, because it requires more than one to experience something.

You could also say, the reason oneness cannot be experienced is that it is a movie (an analogue), that is played so fast that the individual frames of it cannot be seen because. The speed merges them into one. Hence it is not quietness but speediness that is the bedrock of that which is one.

In the context of this metaphor, a world where there seems to be more than one is a movie of oneness slowed down so much, that it seems to consists of frames divided by time and space.

Those insisting in oneness being stillness are those who want to take it slow, because that gives them time to feel they are in control.

It is, therefore, not calmness but speediness, that is needed to accelerate the slowed-down movie of oneness into its natural speed, which is so fast that nothing can be seen. Hence hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not about slowing down thoughts or stopping them but not holding them back so the speediness of them ignite a take-off into the empty breath. It syncs the speedy thoughts in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, so they can be further accelerated without you going insane in the world of the outward-facing senses.

Inevitable thoughts move so fast that there is no time to hold onto any of them to make you come out as someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus that world is perceived from the world of the inward-facing senses, where you are not someone definitive. Thus you are in a state of not-knowing, which is pure bliss.

If you remain in that state for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, the speed of the thoughts become so fast that they merge into the enlightenment of that which is one, from where there is nothing to gently fall into the formlessness of oneness. See hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is one. Most, however, never enter a state of not-knowing and if they do they leave it after a few seconds or minutes. So we return to the subject of this hack, which is not that which is one but how to enjoy the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one while slowly but surely having it undone.

For a take-off into the empty breath to work, you do not have to sit in special postures or do something extraordinary. There is one thing, though, you must do to make it work. You got to acknowledge the chaos of thoughts and feelings as they are experienced without analysing or trying to understand them, nor to shape them by a philosophical or religious system, because if editing, the speed of chaos is replaced by the numbness of order.

To not suppress the chaos through mental or meditative activity, but instead acknowledge it as it is, you do nothing other than to totally be it.* This is not only the take-off into the empty breath but also the destination because totally being something leaves nothing to contrast it. And as that does not leave behind anything to define you, you are in a state of not-knowing. Read more about that here.

In a state of not-knowing, the apparent difference between specific thoughts is not perceived to make a difference, neither is the supposed difference between what is presumed to be you and others. Thus there is nobody to be separated from somebody or at one with anybody – nor to experience the bliss that this entails.

But you do not know the bliss of that before you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and memories of it start popping up. You know, however, you are in a state of not-knowing when you do not care about what and where you appear to be.

When trying to control, change or stop thoughts and feelings, they are slowed down and therefore do not have the speed needed to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, where they lose their apparent meaning, since the empty breath is indifferent to differences. Consequently, they also lose their apparent power to define you as someone definitive.

Please be aware, that the above explanation of that which is one versus a world where there seems to be more than one is as absurd as any other explanation of this or anything else because it requires more than one to explain something and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless.

And as it also takes more than one to find something, there is neither truth, love, oneness or anything else to be found anywhere. Thus Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not reveal oneness, nor do they point to it, since that requires more than one. But they point to the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, as it is what seems to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one because it is formless and therefore endless.

PART 2: COMPLETELY BEING SOMETHING UNVEILS THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Feeling wrong seems to go away when you complain about somebody because that makes them appear to be wrong and you to be right. But complaining about others to escape unwanted feelings in yourself is like covering them under the lid in a cooking pot. Sooner or later, the pressure of the suppressed emotions blows off the lid and steam of grievances shoot out.

Since the cooking pot in this metaphor is your body, the above is to say, that although complaining about somebody at first seems to make you feel better, the problem is not solved. It has just been buried inside your body from where it will come out in the open when the body expels the suppressed problem through physical disease. Whatever that is, you most likely blame it for having caused you to suffer, so you still can deny having an emotional problem.

You do not get rid of an emotional problem by suppressing but feeling it. This is not done by telling friends or a psychiatrist what you think that your problem is. Focusing on the cause displaces the feeling, and so does talking about it because that disassociate you from feeling it.

Totally being a feeling is as easy as being completely devoted to sex, for example. It does not mean, by the way, that you go deep down in the feeling. It is like going deep into a well. No reason to do that. It is the same water on the surface. In other words, totally being an emotion is to feel as it comes to you now.

So instead of sharing what you think you feel with somebody, feel it all by yourself until you are nothing but that, wherefore there is no feeling to contrast it and, therefore, not something to define you as having a problem or anything else. Consequently, you are in a state of not-knowing.

Contrasts are slowly but surely cancelled out in the indifference of the empty breath, including the contrast between life and death. This does not necessarily mean that the bodily symptom of the suppressed feeling magically vanishes. The body may still hurt. But since there is nobody to perceive this as something, it is, just like in a dream, nothing, which applies to everything else, so there is not something to be bothered by. Nor is there anybody to know the bliss that this entails before returning to the belief in being someone and blissful memories of not believing that start to surface.

Since these memories slowly by surely rubs off on your perception of what and where you appear to be as someone definitive, you do not need to avoid or hold onto any feeling to establish yourself as special. Consequently, the body is not used as a garbage bin for unwanted feelings, so it is not disturbed by immaterial matters and can take care of physical issues just like it was made to do. However, when it comes to viruses transferred from wild animals, for example HIV, Mers and COVID 19, and other sicknesses generated by the way of modern living, the body generally needs help from healthcare professionals.

To sum it up, acknowledging a feeling as something specific that you experience as someone definitive makes it possible to completely be what you feel. Being that and nothing else there is not something to contrast it, and therefore nothing to define what you are. Thus you enter a state of not-knowing. However, it is not before you leave it and return the belief in being someone definitive, that you remember, the bliss that comes from being indifferent to that.

You must leave a state of not-knowing after 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to be able again to have a conscious experience of being someone definitive because the brain falls into a coma if there is not a continuous dialogue – internal or external – about something that seems to confirm you are someone definitive. So if you do not want the brain to fall into a coma, and you to disappear in the nothingness from where the experiences of what you believe to be is fabricated by the brain, you must return to the consciousness of being someone in a world of something by resuming your grievances about the world experienced to be outside of you, so you again are established to be separated from what you experience and thus to be someone definitive. Read here how complaints seem to make you appear to be real.

Instead of returning from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, you can totally forget about something, so there is nothing to be absorbed by the enlightenment of that which is one, so there is no consciousness, states of bliss or anything else that requires more than one.

Hence there is not something that seems to hide, there never was or will be nothing but that which is one. Read about the enlightenment of that which is one in HACK #6, The inward-facing senses, enlightenment, and glimpses of it. This does not only mean that the appearance of you as someone definitive is terminated, but that you have never existed, neither in a material or spiritual way, because it takes more than one to exist.

No reason to worry about accidentally and abruptly being terminated as someone in the enlightenment of that which is one, because in most cases the fear of it (read more about that here) or the urge to separate will set in before that, so you automatically fend off that which is one to appear as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Obviously, nor Alexius or anybody else has passed the point of no return in the enlightenment of that which is one because a world where there seems to be more than one is still experienced, and it only takes one to undo what is not one because there is no more than that which is one.

PART 3: THE RETURN FROM THE BLISS OF NOTHING TO THE HAPPINESS OF SOMETHING
When returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone, just like a criminal, you do not think in the categories of right or wrong. Unlike a criminal, however, you do not replace these categories with a calculation of what you can get away with it. You are aware that you do not choose what you do – only how you perceive it.

You do not get stressed from always having to avoid what you judge as negative, being angry for example, when perceiving everything as it is what it is. Read more about this perception in hack #4.2The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy).

And since your perception always is that it is what it is, negative thoughts are just as welcome as positive ones. So is the empty breath. Most of this hack, however, presumes you do not perceive everything as it is what it is, but I know what it is. And as you have to exclude everything unknown from your awareness to uphold this perception, you are full of hidden thoughts and feelings which suppressed energy can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

If you have read HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end, you have probably grasped that you, in the terms of Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, are the basic self when perceiving everything as ´it is what it is´ and the special self when perceiving it as ´I know what it is,´ which is to state you know better than the brain and have established yourself as more unique than the basic self – or in the process of accomplishing it.

Being in sync with the brain, there is nothing to disturb you from falling into a state of not-knowing.

Since the basic self is in sync with the brain, it feels the happiness of something contrary to the special self which is out of sync and thus gets the sadness of something. They are equally illusionary, though, but it does not seem so dangerous to have that exposed when being a basic and not a special self.

Take-offs into ´the empty breath´ [draft]

You can use anything that seems to speed you up, whether it appears to be positive or negative, for take-off into the empty breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Success, as well as failure in the world of the outward-facing senses, tends to speed up thoughts and feelings, which is felt as stressful. Some, therefore, try to escape this by meditating, even though that often has the opposite effect, namely to bring about more thoughts and feelings. Read more about that here.

If you do not try to control or stop the speedy and chaotic movements of thoughts and feelings so they can be used to organise an image of you as someone special in the world of the outward-facing senses, there is nothing to support the collectively agreed idea of this world as definable. Thus the empty breath can sync the apparent tangible world of theo utward-facing senses with the abstractness of the inner ones.

Since this makes the abstractness of the inward-facing senses the foundation for the perception of the world experienced with the outward-facing senses, the apparent differences in that world are no longer perceived to make a difference. Consequently, do not know what and you are and thus in a state of not-knowing, which is like floating on clouds of bliss.

The fastest way to not be bothered by speedy thoughts and feelings is to not try to organise them into something harmonious, but have the raw energy of unsuppressed confusion ignite a take-off into the empty breath, which immediately takes you across an invisible bridge to the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, from where the speed from the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses that brought you there does not appear to be stressful but soothing.

In other words, when stress is not suppressed in the world of the outward-facing senses its chaotic energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath, that automatically synchronises the outer and inward-facing senses, so the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation for how the world of the outward-facing senses is perceived.

And since the world of the inward-facing senses vibrates at a high-speed frequency, the experience of speedy thoughts and/or feelings in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem disturbing when perceived from the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. On the contrary. It is like walking on air.

Except for the inner and outer sense of sight, it is the same sensory organs, that pick up the world of the inward-facing senses and the world of the outward-facing senses. The difference between the two worlds is that the data received by the inward-facing senses remain relatively unprocessed by the brain, so the world evolving from them appear to abstract and inside, contrary to the world of the outward-facing senses, which consist of the same data processed by the brain into an experience of you as someone definitive in a world outside of you that is defined by time and space. That being said, what the brain receives from the sensory system is nothing. The body is a fantasy, also the aura around it and higher frequencies, and that the brain is making this fantasy that someone is experiencing because there is no more than that which is one and it takes more than one to make or have a fantasy. But within the context of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, this is the fantasy Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is using to expose that everything experienced is a fantasy nobody is making or having. The differentiation in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings between inner and outer world is not meant to say that they are experienced through two sensory systems. Just that they are two different kinds of experiences: One perceived to be inside and the other to be outside. It is, actually, the info from the same sensory system that the brain claims to process into an inner or outer world, except for the sense of sight. But that is not important in this context.

It has taken the brain one second to produce your current experience of the outer world (read more about that here), so if you go back one second, you get the unprocessed version of being someone who reads this now. At least theoretically speaking.

None of your experiences, however, is based on info coming from the sensory system as the brain claims, and most choose to believe since otherwise, it is evident, that they are not somebody but nobody because all experiences fabricated by the brain is processed from out of nothing. So what you find when going back one second is the nothingness the brain twists into something experienced by someone.

There you also find the empty breath, which is nothingness not processed into something by the brain. A split second before you reach the empty breath, you meet the brains first abstract visions of nothing as if it is something, namely the world of the inward-facing senses. And almost a second later, the brain has processed the abstractness into your current experience of being someone substantial in the tangible world of the outward-facing senses.

When indifferent to the belief in being someone, it feels so good appearing to be that. This is until you are not indifferent to it anymore. Then it feels like hell.

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the world of the inner and outward-facing senses are synced in regard to what and where you appear to be. When walking down the street, you probably do not sense the inner world, although it is from there you perceive the world of the outer, and therefore do not perceive it to be something.

If you connect with the empty breath when you are all on your own, the image fabricated by the brain of you as someone definitive is downplayed, but still in play. Otherwise, there would not be somebody to experience the world of the inward-facing senses and the glimpses of the enlightenment that may come from it. Read here how to have glimpses of enlightenment. Your eyes do not need to be closed for this because while you have such experiences, the world of the outward-facing senses automatically fades out.

Nobody knows if the eyes are closed when the empty breath does not sync the inner and outer world but embraces you in its emptiness so that there is nothing but emptiness. But when returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is certainly someone to know that is natural to be just as bad as good in such a world since one must appear to be more than one there.

You cannot experience the abstractness in the world of the inward-facing senses without partly being conscious of the image fabricated by the brain of you as someone definitive. Hence the empty breath synchs the world of the inner and outward-facing senses in such a way that part of you still believe to be someone definitive. The only duality hack that immediately undoes this belief is the enlightenment of that which is one. All other duality hacks have a more gradual approach so that you in a process over time can enjoy the belief in being someone definitive while having it undone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

No matter how the connection with the empty breath is experienced, you are in the bliss of nothing. This state of not-knowing, however, cannot last more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,** at a time if you want to return to the conscious experience of being someone because the brain falls into a coma if the ongoing communication with the self it has created stops. Should you forget to return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, the enlightenment of that which is one set in. Read more about that in hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is one. It terminates any experience you ever had of being someone or being in the bliss of nothing, so there is nothing to hide there never was or will be more than that which cannot be experienced, namely that which is one. Most, however, leave a state of not-knowing a long time before it is too late to return to the consciousness of being someone.

You do not need to understand the explanations about the inner and outward-facing senses to connect with the empty breath. Nor do you need to understand, you are brought back one second in linear time when you connect with the empty breath. On the contrary. The less you understand, the easier it is, because you connect with the empty breath by not doing anything about how you feel, so its unedited energy can ignite a take-off into the empty breath. If you try to do it yourself, you enhance the belief in being someone and thus fence of the bliss of being nobody.

If you insist on connecting with the empty breath in your own way and pace, you fence it off, because you are not in charge of anything except how you perceive it.

In other words, you must be willing to go with the flow of the empty breath, which realistically speaking means you should acknowledge that you do not feel ready for that. The new age ideas about being still, centred or whatnot are not gonna help you in regard to taking off to the empty breath. Those ideas are based on excluding something to obtain a specific experience, and there is nothing definitive about the empty breath. Actually, you do not even know when you are connected because it is a state of not-knowing.

Please do not try to construct a perception of what you are reading about the empty breath so that you seem to understand it. There is not something to understand because it is nothing. So stick to being confused. The unedited energy of it will ignite a take-off into the empty breath, so you in one second are filled with the bliss of emptiness.

Any tension in the body or emotion in the psyche will ignite a take-off into the empty breath if you go with the flow of it unedited. This is as easy as going the flow of erotic energy until it explodes and you feel released.

That does not mean, however, that tensions and emotions magically disappear, when connecting with the empty breath. The conclusion of this is not that you should stop taking medicine to ease hay fever, for example. It may help you to relax, so you are able not to suppress but face the stress and fear of being attacked and thus can use the energy of this violent experience to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

Actually, having sex can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, and so can any other intense experience. Feeling depressed works as well, provided there is no attempt to suppress it in order to preserve a special image of yourself as a happy one or to hang onto a sad face so it can be used to make others guilty. Yet the unedited frustration that this entails can also be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. And so can pain that just like frustration or any other emotion vanishes in the connectedness with the empty breath. Or to be more correct, it is the consciousness of you as someone definitive that stops. Hence there is nobody to be in pain.

Take-off into the empty breath might be experienced to start off in the top of the head by a gentle explosion of accumulated thoughts and feelings perceived as upsetting. This paves the way for the empty breath that greets you by expanding the body with empty space*, so it does not seem to be substantial and therefore not to differ from the nothingness of the empty breath. That is if you do not try to stop or edit thoughts and feelings because that takes off their edge and thus the raw power to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

But as the connectedness with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing, there is nobody to know that you are connected with it. Thus the feeling of it, as described in What does ´the empty breath´ feel like? and the other articles about the empty breath is based on the memories of it. They pop up when returning from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone definitive.

Should you after having read the above feel confused about what the empty breath is and how to connect with it, do not try to resolve this but go with the flow of the unedited energy of disorientation until it ignites a take-off into the empty breath, and you feel a big smile expanding your body that is showered by a big fountain of joy.

To wonder if indifference brings about the empty breath or it is brought about by the empty breath is like asking, if it is the chicken or the egg that comes first.

There is no right way to feel the empty breath. At first, it may not be felt in the exciting ways described in the article What does ´the empty breath´ feel like?. Actually, it may not be felt at all, because its main attribute is indifference (read more about that here), and that is not a feeling. Yet not feeling the stress, that comes from believing to be someone definitive, is a big relief.

A take-off into the empty breath only works to the extent, that you are not occupied with being or having more in a material, immaterial or spiritual way.

You feel stressed from perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference [draft]

It is only in a world where there seems to be more than one that you can search for the meaning of life. Yet it is not to be found there or anywhere else, because it takes more than one to find something and life is that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The way that letters are put together in various configurations makes it possible for us to attribute a special meaning to each of the shapes. And when they are organised in rows divided by dots and commas, like in this article, they seem to make up a story written by somebody else than ourselves, and thus to confirm we are somebody in a world where there are more than one. But since the story that seems to prove this is pieced together of shapes attributed a meaning by ourselves, the story is made by ourselves and, therefore, does not prove there are more than that which is one.

Reality is that which is one, and since it takes more than one to experience something, it cannot be experienced.

Let us imagine, that the letters making up the shapes we believe in establishing us as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one are the same letters making up that which is one. Unlike in the world where we believe to be and where everything is experienced to be separated by time and space, there is no space to keep anything apart in that which is, since that requires more than one.

Hence the letters, that oneness consists of cannot be distinguished from each other, and therefore not organised into shapes, that when added together in specific ways seem to establish a story of us as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, oneness is formless.

In oneness, everything is fused into one perpetual present, which no one can see because it takes time to see something. Hence, it is only in a world defined by time and space, there is something to behold. What you see, however, is not there. A world defined by time and space is a slowed-down version of the formlessness of oneness
It is not only because there is no space to separate the letters making up that which is one, that they cannot be differentiated from each other, but also because they move so fast that time stands still (read more about that here). Hence it is not possible to organise them in a linear way – or any other way for that matter.

In the context of our story about a world where there seems to be more than one versus that which is one, you could say, a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy of what oneness would look like if it could be slowed down. The more oneness is imagined to be slowed down, the more space there seems to be between the otherwise shapeless letters in that which is one, wherefore they appear to be separated from each other and have a definitive shape of their own.

Furthermore, there seems to be time to arrange the separated shapes in different combinations attributed with each their own meaning, so not only space but also time establishes separation as real and thus that which is one as unreal.

The slowing down of oneness is, therefore, an attempt to turn formlessness into thoughts representing specific shapes that seem to be something you can manipulate to your liking in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Hence the way back to oneness does not come from stopping the speed of thoughts via meditation or something else that makes you appear to be in control of the thoughts making up your particular shape, so you seem to be at rest and unmoved by the speed of the Earth that is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. Neither is the way back revealed by understanding this or anything else, as to understand something requires more than one and, therefore, enhances the belief, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

No matter if something is experienced to be inside or outside, it is make-believe, because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of oneness and formlessness has no sides.

A journey without distance takes no time
It is not a fact but make-believe that what and where you appear to be is real. It all falls apart if not attributing meaning to the letters in this article or anything else that seems to be part of the story of what and where you are because when shapes make no sense, there is nothing to separate them and thus no time and space.

Since there is no more than oneness, nobody has ever left it. Hence the way back takes no time.

The fastest way to not attribute meaning to something experienced to be there, is, of course, to bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one (see hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is one). It promptly and relentlessly erases every definable detail of whatever you remember to have experienced so there are no memories from where an image of you as someone definitive can be recalled and thus nobody to experience a world where there seems to be more than one.

Should you not want to go that fast but have the belief in being someone definitive undone over time, you can connect with the empty breath (read more about that here). It undoes this belief gradually, so you are able to enjoy the excitement of it while slowly but surely having it undone.

The reason for this is that the empty breath does not erase the memories of you as someone in a world of something. But since it resides in the nothingness from where the brain has made the experiences that are stored as your memories, it knows they are nothing. Thus your past does not establish what and where you believe to be now as something.

So though you appear to be somebody in a world of something, it is perceived as nothing the more you are connected with the empty breath –  just like within the context of the world of something, you are not perceived as real when you appear to be someone in the virtual world of a video game (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive).

The source of life cannot create anything, as it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to create something. For the same reason, it cannot be found. Nothing needs to be done when not perceived as something
The change of size and weight from hefty to almost nothing – for example vinyl to CD to MP3 to streaming, and computer to smartphones to wearables – is a reminder, that reality is sizeless as it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to take up space. For the same reason, oneness, cannot be found in a world defined by time and space. Nothing in such a world or any other kind of world can bring you back to it, except the undoing of the belief that you are there.

That is the purpose of the empty breath as well as the other duality hacks. This they do not achieve by revealing the formlessness of oneness, as it takes more than one to do so. Besides, oneness does not need to be revealed, because it is formless and therefore endless, so there is nothing else.

What needs to be revealed is that what you believe to be is nothing that through your perception of it as something seems to hide the formlessness of oneness. Just like it is your perception of what you experience to be in a dream that makes you appear to be there, although you are at sleep in your bed.

This perception is what the empty breath corrects without you having to leave the dream. So with the empty breath by your side, you do not need to stop or change anything to have the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one undone and at the same time having fun experiencing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

APPENDIX:
Some claim the amount of info coming from digital media is stressful. But that is most likely because they want to uphold a particular image of the world, and therefore need to sort it into what is adaptable and not. Since this requires you to keep a distance from the nonadaptable, you must remember the thoughts making it up. But as you also need to remember the thoughts that are adaptable, there are many thoughts to keep track of. That is what feels stressful and not the amount of info.

Fortunately, the more stressed you seem to be, the faster it disappears if you do not try to slow down the pace of it but use it to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Read more about that here.

You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it [draft]

You do not get satisfaction from something specific in the duality flow but from the constant interaction between opposites. Anything perceived as good is just as bad because everything comes in opposites in a world of duality. That is why you do not get the duality flow if you try to hold onto something specific. In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

PART 1:
You need to be true to the world of duality to undo the belief that you are there. Hence you should not go for singular but twofold experiences. If you try to stay in an unparalleled state of mind, you are unaccompanied, and since you can only depart from non-duality by envisioning there is more than one, this is also the way you return. Therefore, if you insist on being singular, you remain in duality.

In the duality flow, it is not a matter of what you feel but that you are aware of it, so it can open up and reveal its counterpart and that those opposites are interacting, for example, love and hate. Any minute though, hatred may show another opposite of itself, for example kindness. Then this twofoldness replaces the former one until kindness reveals it can also be complemented with selfishness. And on it goes until you prefer having an inner dialogue in which you can make sure you always are correct and thus above others.

This continues till you do not give a shit about being superior or simply are fed up with the stream of thoughts that you know will fade out in the duality flow. Thus you choose to not hide your present emotion behind an inner dialogue where you seem to know better but feel it without explanation. Thus it can be perceived as ´it is what it is,´ which reveals it is not singular but twofold, wherefore you are back in the duality flow.

If something seems to have gone wrong, you may panic and start an inner dialogue about how to become better. But you follow the Earth on a predestined ride around the sun. See hack #4.2 The brain´s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. Hence there is nothing you can change.

Therefore, instead of judging yourself for having failed and thus feeling inferior, go with the duality flow. When you do that, failure is complemented by success, wherefore both seem equally entertaining.

Please be aware that you should not look for your present emotion in the body. It does not contain anything psychological because it is purely physical. You could also say that something physical is visible, whereas something psychological is invisible, and you cannot mix visibility with invisibility.

That said, if you have projected mental or emotional issues onto the body in the assumption that it can integrate them, you better start off by bringing them back to the non-substantial psychological sphere where they were conceived. Only there they gently open up and reveal they are not singular but twofold, wherefore there is no specific psychological issue to bother you.

However, since you initially tried to combine a specific psychological issue with a physical one, the latter remains and should be taken care of physically. Maybe with the help of a healthcare professional.

Bringing back your emotional issues, from where you have imagined dumping them in the body to the non-substantial psychological sphere, is straightforward. Since having dropped them in the body is a fantasy, you simply reverse it. However, having done that, you do not know where they are because the psychological sphere is not visible.

Yet, like the clothes are close to the body and follows it wherever it goes, you can count on the psychological zone is close to the body and moves along with it. But also like clothes and the body are two different realities that do not mix, so is the psychological and physical reality.

If we remain within the clothes metaphor, you could say the psychological sphere provides the body with a sense of warmth. That is, if the psychological zone is not filled with continuous inner dialogue consisting of comments like those on social media that makes you feel as if you exist. But this is like wearing somebody else´s dirty clothes. It is very unpleasant for the body, whereas it feels at home when there is nothing but the duality flow is in the psychological sphere.

As already said, you replace the inner dialogue with the duality flow by perceiving your present feeling – or the amount you can get in touch with through the noise from your internal conversation – as ´it is what it is.´ But if you stop insisting on being superior by showing off as you know what is going on, the inner dialogue runs out of steam and reveals the duality flow.

The first time this happened for Alexius was during a very gentle massage. But it was not before much later he put words to it and realised, perceiving your present feeling in the psychological sphere as ´it is what it is´ reveals it is not singular but twofold. And being in sync with duality, you have no need to seek out thoughts for inner dialogue attesting to you being better.

Unfortunately, it has not always been clarified in the former articles that emotions must be faced where they are conceived, namely in the psychological zone, to be revealed as twofold. But this mistake will be corrected someday.

Also, it may not always be clear that since the psychological sphere is abstract, it is nowhere specifically. Hence it is also where you experience the body to be, but not as a part of it. To not confuse the psychological sphere with the body, it is best to access it somewhere outside of the body.

INTERLUDE:
Having the counterpart of a singular feeling revealed is not an intellectual process. First, you perceive the specific feeling as ´it is what it is.´ Second, in a state of expectation, calling for nothing specific, you patiently wait a few seconds. Third, your singular feeling opens up, and its counterpart fills its space.

The transition is so gentle that you feel mellow. And it is as automatic as breathing in and out. One automatically leads to the other. Also, like breathing, you may forget about it. Yet you do not forget how well-grounded and beloved you feel in the interplay between opposites.

Should you not catch the interaction between the opposites in one of the many duality pairs, you can always go for the breath. But remember, regarding the duality flow, it is not about doing something precisely, like following the breath, but being true to your experience of breathing in and then quietly wait for it to be replaced by breathing out.

PART 2:
At first, you may get to the duality flow through the perception, ´it is what it is,´ but, after a while, you can recall it just like that. You simply choose to enjoy the interaction of the opposing element in a duality pair instead of dividing them into separate entities assumed to be at odds. In other words, you choose to feel the abundance of the duality flow and not the scarcity of separation.

However, it took Alexius some time to not pick one of the opposite sides in a duality pair but to go with their interaction in which, like breathing in and out, they support each other. But unlike the polarity of breathing in and out, most duality pairs are quickly replaced by another. Fortunately, that is not a problem. The duality flow comes from the constant movement between the opposite sides in any duality pair. And that always makes you feel complete.

The duality flow reminds Alexius of the physical sensation he remembers from his childhood when he tried drinking coca-cola. It was like his body turned into bubbes. His experience of the duality flow can also be described as his body is an ocean full of waves gracefully flowing nowhere, or like drops of warm water gently touching the body. Feelings, though, are personal, so your experience of the duality flow´s completeness may differ from Alexius´. Nevertheless, you know you feel the duality flow when you keep smiling for no particular reason.

That being said, the duality flow is new to Alexius. It came to him late in the process of writing Alexius´ Duality Hacks. He discovered it when he wrote a little article in 2020 that over the following months evolved into the eight pieces of hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

At the beginning of writing about this hack, he did not experience the duality flow described above. Instead, he either remembered the hellish or heavenly feeling that comes from a single-minded perception. See You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it, Part 1. But you probably get to the duality flow much faster because the way has been paved by Alexius.

When you start going with the duality flow, it probably is the revelation that no experience is singular that blows your mind. For example, if you feel miserable, it is a relief to experience this feeling contains its counterpart, pleasure. Later on, it is not the revelation that your reaction to something always is twofold that blows you away, but that they constantly interact with each other.

Calling this interaction the duality flow is not Alexius´ idea. That was suggested by the AI proofreading his writings. It has, by the way, not found anything similar on the web to the duality flow. Actually, most who talk about non-duality seem to deny duality, although this refusal of the belief in duality makes it impossible to undo it.

First, you think you dump your unwanted feelings in the body. Second, you tighten up the body to hide the feelings imagined to be stored there. Third, you interpret the tightened body as proof of having concealed your unwanted feelings there. Fourth, you forget all about it.

The idea of singleness does not apply to non–duality because for this concept to be experienced, there must be more than one, and there is no more than that which is one in non-duality. Nor does it apply to a world of duality, as everything in it is twofold. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3:
None of the opposing elements in the duality flow remains for long. This can be compared to a seesaw. It changes rapidly and repeatedly from one position, situation, or condition to another and back again. So if you try holding onto the top by avoiding going down, what you get is fake because the top needs the button to define it – just like there is nothing to describe breathing in if you do not breathe out.

To walk, you take a step with one leg and then the other. If you exclude one of the legs, you cannot walk. Likewise, if you exclude hate from love, you do not hit the road of duality. Hence you do not get the togetherness of twofoldness but the loneliness of singleness. This may feel like a non-concrete pain in the body, even though it does not come from there but from the mental sphere. There you hold yourself spellbound by the idea that twofoldness can be separated into independent items, and hate, therefore, can be separated from love.

This you achieve by projecting your hatred onto a part of the body that you dislike. Then you lure yourself into believing you have gotten rid of hate. Finally, you render yourself unconscious of what you have done, so you can see yourself as nothing but love. But emotions are abstract, and bodies are substantial, so assuming you can dump feelings in flesh, bones, and blood is absurd. Besides, feelings are not singular but twofold. So you cannot have hatred without love and vice versa.

In other words, you cannot remove hatred from your awareness by dumping it in your body. Therefore, what you assume to disturb you in the body is not there but in the psychological sphere. However, it has been there all the time because psychological issues do not blend with the body.

Thus what you believe to feel in the body, you instead sense in the psychological sphere, which is nowhere in specific since it is abstract. So if you feel it anywhere other than in the body, you are in the abstractness of the psychological sphere. There you perceive what you feel as ´it is what it is.´ Doing that, as you know from having read the above, the pressure of something specific is off because your anxiety is complemented by its counterpart, contentment.

Every time you go with the interaction in the duality pairs, breathing in and out becomes so dynamic that more pairs shows up.

Nobody has lasting feelings unless they suppress them by dumping them in the body, so they seem to become substantial. But what they seem to get by doing this is not natural. Feelings are fleeting because they reside in the psychological zone, which is like air. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When not upholding the idea of singularity and acknowledging the psychological and physical realm are not combinable, you understand that vaguely felt discomfort in the body can be a psychological problem, you have lured yourself into feeling as something physical in the body.

To resume, no trip down memory lane is needed to free the body from the burdens you have placed upon it. Nor do you need to understand what you attempted to hide in the body and why you did it. Instead, you simply acknowledge the present discomfort in the shoulder, for example, so you can feel it in the psychological sphere where your reaction to it can be perceived as ´it is what it is.´ After that, since your response is revealed to be dual, a specific feeling of discomfort cannot be upheld in the shoulders.

As mentioned above, this does not necessarily mean all the pain in the shoulders is gone. You probably have chosen to project your unwanted feelings onto them because they already were in pain, making it easier to imagine psychological distress is hidden there. So if the shoulders still ache when this fantasy is undone, the pain should be dealt with physically, perhaps with the help of fascia rollers from Blackroll.

APPENDIX:
In this article, we have talked about how you get rid of a feeling judged as wrong by dumping it in the body. But good feelings are also dropped in the body. In that case, the body is not used to hide them but make them appear more substantial and lasting. Read more about that in You must play the game of duality to have it undone.

When your attitude to something is single-minded, you get a pleasurable peak experience of something specific. But as everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, it will sooner or later be replaced by displeasure. On the other hand, if your approach is dualistic, pleasure and displeasure is not disconnected but in constant interaction. Thus you are in the duality flow.

The duality flow is not about harmony and balance but the resilient relation between opposites. For example, a yoyo will not wind up without a springy drive.

You either breathe in or out. One excludes the other. Yet, the two different ways pave the way for each other. This is how the duality flow works. However, the special self prefers to be singular. But it is like avoiding breathing out. It does not work. In other words, when the special self promotes itself as to be only positive, spiritual or whatnot, it is fake.

In the duality flow, you do not have to choose between good and evil. They compliment each other. Therefore, since one is not better than the other, there is nothing to judge and thus not something to establish fear as a feeling on its own. Hence you see it is exposed to be complemented with trust.

Being in the duality flow, you can forget about what you used to be. That was based on single-minded concepts. In the flow, you are not someone in particular but the constant movement between opposites.

Since the perception ´it is what it is´ reveals that every experience is twofold and you are in a world of duality, it brings about completeness. However, as everything comes in pairs, it also results in incompleteness. No worries, you are neither whole nor fragmented but in the motion between these opposites – just like the thrill of a see-saw comes from the constant movement between those opposites.

Having established ’it is what it is´ as your default perception, you are always in the interaction of opposing emotions and thus feeling completed by the duality flow, instead of being unfulfilled by feelings separated from their complementary part. Everything comes in pairs of opposing elements in a world of duality. Thus trying to split them into singular parts and hold onto one of them is impossible. Yet, it is possible to think you can do that by projecting negativity onto others, so you appear to be only positive. However, this mental stance does not change that you still have negative as well as positive thoughts. Hence you feel frustrated. On the other hand, following the duality flow brings about satisfaction because the constant interaction of opposing elements is the natural state of duality.

If you are into being and having the best, the duality flow experience will probably be a continuous movement between the best and the worst. Should you want to be spiritual, the motion is most likely between that and materialistic. The duality flow could also go between hope and hopelessness or between whatever you hold dear and its opposite. We usually do not think about how to digest the food we eat because it happens by itself. In the duality flow, you do not even have to plan the preparation of a meal.* It may not occur, though, in the systematised way you are used to but in the spontaneous way of nature. It does not plant seeds in rows to get the most in return but enthusiastically throws the seeds everywhere to see what turns up. Nor does it build something in a totalitarian way, such as Bauhaus or construct a meal in a categorical style like Nordic. To make long short, it is never definitive.

Therefore, although preparing the dinner seems more unpredictable when following the duality flow,** you can count on having fun and experiencing something that goes with the present moment. The latter is what you will miss if you try to repeat it another day. That being said, there may be a period of transition where you try to hold onto your old single-minded ways of perceiving your cooking. When it does not work and thus triggers old feelings of despair, you are about to cry.

The solution is not to stop the discomfort but to stand by it, so the definitive meaning you have decided it has can be perceived as ´it is what it is.´ This reveals it is not singular but twofold. And that is what makes you feel complete in a world of duality. Eventually, so much that you realise you are nothing but appearance. Hence there does not seem to be someone to hide that which always was and will be there, namely non-duality.

What you need to prepare to go somewhere comes automatically in the duality flow. Should things not proceed as you expect, you are not afraid of getting upset because you know everything comes in pairs. The satisfaction you get from being in the duality flow is not like the one you get from something perceived as specific. You are always afraid of losing that, whereas it is impossible to lose the duality flow.

Since everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, there is no sense in searching for something specific. This is such a relief.

If you want the satisfaction of the duality flow, it is essential not to focus on anything in particular. The same applies if you like to undo the belief in duality. Therefore, since the perception ´it is what it is´ cancels out anything specific, you kill two birds with one stone by applying it.

None of the opposing elements in the pairs of duality is essential. It is their interaction that matters because it makes up the duality flow. This you will want to follow when you are tired of feeling incomplete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you feel you have nowhere to go and do not insist on this being a definitive feeling but counteract it with going everywhere, you are in the duality flow. The same applies if you are in the interplay of irritation and relaxation. However,  the duality flow is not about the opposing elements in a pair of duality but their interaction. That is what makes you feel complete – just like it is the interplay of breathing in and out that makes you feel content.

And just like none of the opposing elements in the breath works by themselves, nor do any other elements in the pairs of duality. Hence you cannot always feel positive. The feeling only works when contrasted by negativity. So if you are not in the constant interplay of positivity and negativity, what you believe in feeling when you claim to be positive is a concept conjured up by suppressing negativity via meditation, for example. This is like separating yourself from either breathing in or out. You need them both.

To make long short, the solution to everything, in a world of duality, is to go with the flow of the opposing elements that make up the pairs of duality. You hook up with the duality flow by perceiving your reaction to something as ´it is what it is

Alexius, a long time ago, conditioned himself to hide his sorrow behind justified anger and disgust. That changed when he did not try to hide or rationalise his grief but perceived his reaction to it as ´it is what it is,´ This revealed that inside his deep sorrow, a little boy was floating on waves of nectar.

Therefore, since he saw his sorrow was paired with mellowness, he did not try to fence off the grief anymore to feel good. Actually, feeling sad automatically triggered the happiness inside it. Hence feeling happy/sad became his basic experience of the duality flow.

Importance is a single-minded notion that has been separated from its buddy, worthlessness. Thus it brings about loneliness. But in the duality flow, importance interacts with worthlessness, wherefore you get togetherness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is not a matter of the body relaxing or not, but how you perceive your reaction to it. If your reaction is that you feel troubled, you see your body as the source of that. Yet there is nothing in the body you can make better to not feel disturbed by it because the problem is not there. But if your reaction to the body is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ troubled is contracted with untroubled. And since the idea of a body is a product of duality, this twofoldness makes it feel at home.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Having followed the duality flow for some time, the specific state of mind you used to conjure up to feel at ease is forever out of reach. Now everything is twofold. Sadness interacts with gladness and death with life. What this means, you do not know. Nor do you care because you feel complete. Hence there is no need for a specific state of mind or perspective to escape feeling disturbed.

In the duality flow, you feel complete, so although you may seem as clumsy as before, it does not make you feel wrong.

If you succeed in letting go of your hatred, you also get rid of the ability to feel love because, in a world of duality, everything comes in pairs of opposing elements that define each other. Hate defines love and vice versa, so you cannot have one without the other.

To get back the love you ignorantly discarded, you perceive  the hate you judge others have as ´it is what it is.´ This reveals hatred is coupled with love. Therefore, since you can only see what you have, there is love and hate in you. Read here about seeing your repressed emotions in others.

This revelation brings about other dualistic experiences, which generate even more. Actually, so many that you, eventually, forget to define yourself and others as somebody at all. Getting there is a process,*** but not being defined as someone in a dualistic world is instant because there is nothing between duality and non-duality. Actually, there is no duality since non-duality is formless and therefore endless.

Fortunately, there is nothing to hide that when you are not defined as someone in a world of duality.

When you get angry, you say, »So what! Everything comes in pairs of opposites that define each other. That is the way of duality. Thus I will soon feel cool.« That is why there is no need for forgiveness or anything else to not feel bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In the duality flow, your response to something is not singular but twofold. Therefore, as nothing is considered precisely right or wrong, there is not anything that seems to be a problem. But since most people are identified with their troubles, they want them to remain. Thus they fence off the duality flow by holding onto conditioned ways of responding. For example, they may perceive their reaction to this article as distinctly upsetting.

However, the cause of misery is the wish to be unique. To uphold the special picture you have painted of yourself, you must constantly separate yourself from everything judged as unfit. Hence you feel incomplete, whereas you feel complete in the duality flow.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings logically concludes that since it takes more than one to have a shape, oneness is formless and therefore endless. Consequently, there is no more than that which is one. But since it takes more than one to read this, you believe it is possible to be and have more than one.

No worries, continuing as if you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you honour your choice to believe this is possible. Hence you can choose to undo it. If you bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one, this does not occur gradually but instantly (see hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is one).

But since the temporal length of an event is an illusion, you may take your time and begin following the duality flow so you can enjoy appearing to be and have more than that which is one, until this experience, like anything else that has a beginning, ends without any effort of yours.


*) This is not to say that you never need to think ahead to get something done. But thoughts for that come to you automatically when you are in the duality flow.

**) Actually, preparing something is not more unpredictable when following the duality flow. It only seems so because when you are not in the duality flow, you leave everything out of your perception of putting something together that does not confirm you are in control.

***) This process is not about avoiding the word ´I´ or stopping something else but gradually realising that the experience of being someone is fake – just like you do not turn aside cars and money in Monopoly, although nothing there is real.

When you perceive your reaction to any experience as ´it is what it is,´ you are in sync with the brain’s script. But if you start to analyse your response and conclude, ´I know what it is,´ you are out of sync with the script because you do not know what it is. There is no meaning to be found in your experiences, nor are they yours. This is an illusion created by the brain, which generates all experiences to make the self it has fabricated believe that it sees, hears, feels and tastes something outside of itself. It is easy to deceive the self into believing it experiences something outside of itself because if not, there is nothing to confirm its existence.

The experiences you believe in having will continue as scripted by the brain, regardless of how you perceive them. But since the brain injects you with shots of happiness for supporting it with a perception aligned with its script, it is in your own best interest to be in sync with the brain as long as you partake in its game of being somebody.

If you do not mind being nobody, you perceive the experiences it produces as ´dunno what it is.´ Hence you enter into a state of not-knowing and its bliss of nothing. This does not mean that the brain’s script changes but that you are indifferent to it because there is no need to be confirmed as somebody.

The more you perceive an experience as ´it is what it is,´ the more carefree you feel. Perhaps so much that your perception automatically changes to ´dunno what it is,´ which may bring about glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one. You do not have to use the exact same words for the perceptions mentioned in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end to participate in the game of duality, deny it, take a break, or totally forget it. Instead of saying ´it is what it is,´ you could say ´shit happens,´ or ´so what.´. As long as the essence is alike, they work the same. That being said, the perception ´I know what it is´ only works in the sense that it makes you feel special. You are still what and where the brain wants you to be, which you do not try to change when you go with the perception, ´it is what it is

Choosing the perception ´dunno what it is,´ you leave the brain´s script behind. Not in a sense that you are not what and where the brain has planned, but you do not perceive your experience of it as something since you are in the bliss of nothing.

To uphold the perception ´I know what it is,´ you got to suppress your actual response to an experience. The two other perceptions do not involve denial. On the contrary, your response to something cannot be perceived as ´it is what it is´ or ´dunno what it is´ if you deny it. The perception ´I know what it is´ never works as intended because you are not all-seeing and knowing.

And the two other perceptions do not work if your intention is to get something over and done with. However, this can be solved by perceiving the response to your plan as ´it is what it is.´ That flushes out any idea of achieving something specific. If your response is perceived as ´dunno what it is,´ there is not something to accomplish because you are in the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Feeling wrong is our own decision because our emotions are shaped by how we perceive our reaction to an experience. But if you decide not to perceive your reaction as specific, the brain automatically takes over and perceives it as ´it is what it is.´ And since the brain operates in pairs, your reaction is twofold. Therefore, as sadness is paired with happiness, you are never sad but happy/sad. This polarity, like any other, makes you feel complete.

Do not hide your reaction to something by making a story in which you are unimpressed or detached. Instead, feel your response, so you can decide what it means and perceive that as ´it is what is.´ This expands the interpretation of your reaction, so it is not limited to you being angry, for example, but complemented with being calm. Since twofoldness makes you feel fulfilled, you have no urge to uphold a single-minded image of yourself. Thus, sooner or later, you forget what and where you are, which is the invitation the enlightenment of that which is one has been waiting for. If you believe you suffer because of something, you are mistaken. You suffer because you have perceived your reaction to something, so it makes you feel bad. This is immediately corrected when you perceive feeling bad as ´it is what it is

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When your reaction to something is sadness, and it is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ you also get gladness. First of all, because everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, but also because if something has not made you happy at some point, it cannot make you sad. For example, when your cat dies, your sadness is related to the many years of gladness you had when it was alive.

Should you, instead, make the perception ´I know what it is,´ when your cat dies and what you believe to know is that this makes you sad, you must exclude gladness to prove you are only sad. But without gladness, sadness cannot be defined. Therefore, what you believe in knowing that you feel is a thought up idea of sadness. Thus you do not feel sad but fake.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If noisy music from the neighbour makes you feel troubled, it is not because of the music but your specific perception of your reaction to it. Instead, if your response is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ it turns out to be twofold. Hence you feel disturbed as well as stimulated. This interchange of opposites is the duality flow. Just like the twofoldness of breathing in and out makes you feel alive, you feel fulfilled when psychological pairs of duality, such as love and hate, dynamically interact with each other. However, this interaction takes away the sense of control. Thus most separate hate from love by projecting a romanticised version of love on somebody and hatred on somebody else or a vulnerable part of their own body. Insisting on this division, they miss the joy of togetherness because it does not come from a singular but dualistic feeling.

They get the joy of closeness when what they have decided to be the meaning of hatred is perceived as ´it is what it is,´ because that undo the separation of love and hate. For example, if they have classified hate as weakness, this perception reveals it is paired with strength. Since this polarity, like any other, brings about the relaxation of duality, they may not notice this change. But, for sure, they observe there is no need to hold onto a pretty image of love outside of themselves by hiding hatred in your body.

This sets others free from your romanticised projections of love. And your body stops defending itself against your hateful attitude towards it. Thus the body parts you kept tight to hide feelings of hatred there are healed by the dynamic interaction of love and hate. 

If those parts are in pain from physical illness as well, they must be attended to materially. Perhaps with the help of a health care professional. However, when the body is not occupied by fending off your psychological issues, it is often capable of being restored by the biological system governed by the brain. That is why physical illness starts with withdrawing the non-physical matters you have projecting onto it. Everything in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is fictitious. There is no similarity to reality because that is non-dual, and it takes more than one to read Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings. However, since they do not claim to be real, you are exposed as unreal when reading them. Hence, the more you do that, the less there is someone to judge these words to differs from the reader, wherefore there is no duality to hide reality is non-dual.

When you perceive a singular opinion of yours as ´it is what it is,´ it reveals itself to be twofold. And since you appear to be in a world of duality, and everything in such a world operates in pairs, you feel complete. If this is perceived to be good enough, every moment is the perfect moment. Nothing is wrong or missing. Read more about that in hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment.

From this follows that if you do not feel complete, you have been messing with the pairs of duality by perceiving their parts as definitive. Since that is your own choice, you can undo it and feel complete. Read more about choosing in hack #2.2 Choosing or not. Having done that a few times, you have established every moment is the perfect moment regardless of what and where you appear to be. In other words, if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, you do not wait for a better moment. This one is perfect as it is.

Since that means you never wait for something better, the continuation of duality, eventually, comes to an end. Thus duality does not appear to be hiding, there never was or will be anything but non-duality since it is formless and therefore endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A feeling can only be known when explained. And since that makes it mental, you are benumbed when your perception is ´I know what it isTo make up for that, you enhance this perception with stories of a better future.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To perceive anything as ´I know what it is,´ is as crazy as thinking you know where you are in a dream. You are nowhere but in your bed.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always makes an explanation that seems to confirm the perception ´I know what it is.´ This enhances its conditioned way of viewing the world and the fear of being wrong. But if you do not try to explain anything, you never need to correct or deny something to maintain you are right. ´It is what it is,´ so you have nothing to worry about.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since your internal comments about the world in most cases are singular and thus cut off from their complementary part, you appear to judge yourself and others as incomplete. Hence you get the urge to improve something to feel complete.

Yet it is nobody but yourself who has made the single-minded comments that seem to establish what you and others can do. Fortunately, these rules do not need to be identified to set yourself and others free from your confinement. Instead, you simply perceive your present opinion about something, for example what you read, as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals your comment is not singular but twofold, which, ln a world of duality, is completeness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In a video game, everything is predetermined. No matter what you choose to do, the subsequent events have already been arranged, likewise, in a world of duality. You can choose between different stories going on inside your head. Regardless of which one you settle for, the next step is decided in advance by the brain. It cannot be changed. You can, however, choose how to perceive your reaction to that step.

When you choose to perceive your response as ´it is what it is,´ it is experienced to be two-fold, and since you are in a world of duality, the result is satisfaction. But if you perceive your reaction as ´I know what it is,´ it seems singular and, therefore, incompatible with duality. Hence you do not feel satisfied but frustrated by duality. Unfortunately, most think the solution is to get rid of duality. Yet, it is the other way around.

Playing the game of duality, you confirm non-duality because it is formless and therefore endless, so it must be the reason for the experience of duality. And also, the reason, duality is not real. Read more about that in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Not storing thoughts and feelings in the body or projecting them onto the world, they are experienced to be in you and yet nowhere in particular. Therefore, as you do not seem to be defined by them, you are not stuck as someone definitive in a world of duality. This does not mean you need to bring back all the thoughts and feelings you have disassociated yourself from. The willingness to do so is sufficient. This is set forth by perceiving your reaction to any present thought or feeling as ´it is what it is

HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end uses the perceptions ´I know what it is´ vs ´it is what it is´ vs ´dunno what it is.´ HACK #3 Not being exclusive but inclusive is freedom from being someone definitive uses the perception ´it is included.´ It is similar to ´it is what it is´ in the sense that it is based on the experience of duality. But since all parts of the present moment are perceived as ´it is included,´ their apparent differences do not seem to make a difference. Thus every moment is the perfect moment.

Since ´dunno what it is´ ignores duality, it leads to a state of not-knowing. But ignoring duality, you do not last as someone in a world of duality for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most. So if you want to go on as if you are someone, better go with the duality flow, which is revealed by the perception ´it is what it is.´

A perfect moment, brought about by the perception ´it is included,´ is, like ´it is what it is,´ based on the acknowledgement of duality. Hence, contrary to a state of not-knowing, it lasts as long as it takes. In other words, a perfect moment is not measured by time but by inclusiveness. This makes you feel relieved. On the other hand, you feel vitalised by the twofoldness in the duality flow. See In the duality flow, you do not feel something specific. After all, it is the duality flow.

However, if you read hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment, there is nothing about the perception ´it is included.´ Alexius did not use this approach to a perfect moment when he originally wrote about it. But he will most likely update the hack by the end of 2021.

Notes on feelings

Pinching yourself in the arm, the brain registers a physical feeling. Hence you conclude, you are alive. But since the experience of the physical sensation is created by the brain, this conclusion does not prove you exist as someone substantial in a tangible world outside the brain – just like regardless of what and where you experience to be in a dream, you are not there but in your bed. »If you’re sitting in a safe and comfortable position, close your eyes and try to feel your heart beating in your chest. Can you, without moving your hands to take your pulse, feel each movement and count its rhythm? Or do you struggle to detect anything at all? This simple test is just one way to assess your ´interoception´ – your brain´s perception of your body’s state, transmitted from receptors on all your internal organs … There’s a constant communication dialogue between the brain and the viscera (internal organs).«

The above test reveals if the connection between the brain and the body works in you. The quote is from the article Interoception: the hidden sense that shapes wellbeing in the Guardian. Like in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, the article concludes that many people have cut off the link between the body and the brain. And since the latter controls the body, it is left without guidance.

According to Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, this connection must be re-established, so no body parts act independently but work as a group governed by the brain. But, of course, the article in the Guardian has another conclusion. It says that you need to master the body, and in doing so, you are in touch with its signals and thus your feelings because they are in the body.

But believing you are the master of body and brain is the root of the problem. To become a master, the natural connection between the body and the brain must be cut off, so you can take over and impose your ideas of who you are or is going to be. This idea is ridiculous because you do not know who you are nor how the body or brain functions. Besides, if you, for example, assume you are spiritual, this assumption is based on selected experiences produced by the brain. Hence you are nothing but a product fabricated and conducted by the brain via the experiences it creates. In other words, feelings do not come from the heart or somewhere else than the brain, which governs the body and what and where you appear to be.

For sure, you fall off the planet if you interfere with gravity. And you mess up the body when you disrupt or meddle with its ongoing communication with the brain. In short, in the game of duality, the brain is the game master. You cannot change it, but you have plenty of fun following the game master. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Therefore, to feel good as someone in the game of the brain, you must step aside and let it do its thing. This does not mean you do not involve yourself but that you do not try to change anything. Like when you watch a movie. It is your involvement that makes it entertaining when you go with the plot as it is.

In other words, you are not a master but a servant. And you serve the brain by perceiving your reaction to the experiences it produces as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals your response is twofold, and since the world of the brain is dual, you are in sync with the brain. Being that you are best buddies with the brain, and that feels good. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

If you do not want to play the game of duality, you are free to leave it. However, you cannot do that unless you play it. And since participating involves feeling it, we go on in the below by looking at the feelings that seem to attest to you being someone in a world of duality.

It is not done in an organised way, though. Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings has nothing to prove because they know they are as illusionary as anything else in a world of duality. Yet, reading the below ragbag of clips from older unpublished articles, this acknowledgement may help you see what you believe in being is also an illusion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This article is not about enlightenment or the reality of oneness, but how to live with the nature of duality because you have chosen duality in place of non-duality. If you want to undo this decision entirely, you must live fully with negative and positive feelings. Fortunately, doing that is easy when you do not see negative feelings as bad but go with the interaction of negativity and positivity like you do with breathing in and out.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot breathe out before you breathe in and vice versa. In other words, you cannot have one without the other. That is how duality works. Everything comes in pairs. If you go with that, you feel complete. But if you try to divide the pairs into separate elements, you feel incomplete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The world can be compared to a blindfold on your eyes. Nobody but yourself keeps the blindfold there, and you do it by having specific feelings of the world. Because of that, you cannot bid welcome that which cannot be felt, namely non-duality. When you do not perceive feelings to be specific, the blindfold starts to dissolve.

However, you cannot stop perceiving feelings to be definitive if you do not know them. In many cases, you hide psychological feelings to be accepted by society. And to make a love relationship last, you believe you must favour the attitudes accepted as love in preference to those not approved as loving.

Defending yourself towards specific feelings turns out to be a defence towards all of them. Therefore, since you do not feel anything, you simulate feeling something in the way you are supposed to. If something is so shocking that you are about to touch a genuine feeling, you burst into laughter to distance yourself from going with the flow of emotions, so you can fend off facing you do not love yourself.

To make a long story short: Even though the world only appears real due to feelings, most of them are suppressed and not known by the world. If they were, everybody could undo the feeling of being someone in a capsule of time and space.

Since feelings are heavier than thoughts, they seem to be a hindrance to contact more refined energies. Yet, it is of no help to deny feelings and instead focus on their energies if you want to undo the belief in duality because it is based on feeling it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you know you undo fear by not holding back your breath, but you keep doing that, you understand you have chosen to feel frightened. This is all you need to sense to make way for a change. Because when you realise you have made a choice that is bad for you, you set the body free to choose – and it only decides what is best for you. Thus wholly breath starts rolling. Most suppress negative thoughts because they do not seem to be in their favour when they try to impress their boss or a potential new girl/boyfriend, for example. In other words, most split up the constant interaction of negativity and positivity into elements to be used independently in stories to manipulate others. It is much easier to make others feel good about you when wrapping everything up in stories that distance yourself from negativity.

However, the main reason one suppresses negative thoughts is not because of others but for oneself. You are simply afraid of them. Negative thoughts in one´s childhood can be dangerous to express. In the case of Alexius, in his childhood, he was beaten by his father if he said or did something judged as offensive. So he did not dare to express his negative thoughts about being treated like that because he was afraid they would cause him to be further beaten up. Therefore, to not accidentally voice them, he suppressed them.

But just like the negative pole in electricity is as important as the positive one, you need negative thoughts as much as positive ones in a world of duality. If you suppress the negative ones, you deteriorate, whereas you blossom if you approve of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since that which is you is no different from that which is one, you may vaguely remember there is no more than that which is one. Thus may try to have one lover, one home, one god and so on to fake oneness in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, such a world can only be experienced due to contrasts, so everything comes in pairs. Therefore, since it is impossible to be faithful to only one, you get confused if you insist on singularity.

To walk, you need two legs. And to take one step forward, you must include the past because it is the building stone for your future step. Twofoldness is always the way in a world where there seems to be more than one. If you respect that, you honour to have chosen to believe there is such a world. Thus it can be undone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not breathe in and out to find a balance between expansion and contraction. Neither do you need to find a balance between body and brain. What you need is to let the brain do its thing so you, in a laid-back fashion, can enjoy being someone in a world of duality. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Not facing both up and down, you will be mistaken about yourself. Feeling down without getting the interaction of up and down, you will find you are a freak. Mainly feeling up, and using it to deny feeling down, you fake normality.

But you do not feel neither normal nor abnormal if you go with the interaction of up and down like you go with breathing in and out, as going with the constant interplay of opposites, you are not definitive but relative.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Often a person full of light has relationships with somebody more in the dark. Both probably use the other to see their complementary side. If this is not done unconsciously but consciously, they see the underworld and the overworld in the other.

Since it is easier to see your hidden side in someone that seems separated from you, there is nothing wrong in projecting that onto somebody else. The world is one giant projection anyway, and while you seem to be in such a world, it is much easier to see what you have separated from yourself in others. So go ahead and point your finger at others.

That is the fastest way to bring back home what you have disassociated yourself from. It is quicker than meditation or anything else. Read more about that in The YOU finger and the three ME fingers.

Neither hell nor heaven is part of the world you see. Nevertheless, they are part of duality – and if you want to stop using duality as a cover for non-duality, you must be willing to acknowledge all contrasts that appear to cover that which has no contrast, namely non-duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not have to perceive yourself as stupid if you stumble over something. Instead, you can laugh about it. To do that you do not suppress the irritation you feel but perceive it as ´it is what it is.´ This reveals annoyance is coupled with calmness. Thus there is no reason to judge yourself as stupid or anything else for that matter. In other words, there does not seem to be something wrong with you when you go with the duality flow.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

All emotional problems are caused by you breaking up the polarity that defines duality. For example, you separate love from hate, so they seem independent of each other, and you, therefore, can have love without hate. But everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality. So splitting them up into separate and distinct elements, you get the loneliness of separation, whereas going with the interaction of opposites, you have the togetherness of twofoldness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It´s very easy to choose not to store thoughts, so you are empty, if you don´t have a need to uphold a certain image of yourself.

If you are full of thoughts, you are busy assigning meaning to your experiences. However, none of your experiences means anything. Their only purpose is to entertain you. Being that, there is no need to look for thoughts to explain something. Hence you do not have a bad time. On the contrary, you feel amused. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Suffering comes from the way you have decided to interpret something. Therefore, if you suffer, you have chosen to assign specific experiences with a meaning that makes you suffer.

That is not solved by changing your interpretation but by not insisting it is definitive. This occurs when perceiving your conditioned interpretation as ´it is what it is´ because that reveals it is not on its own. Instead, it is coupled with its counterpart. And since everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, you feel at home when you see your interpretation is twofold.

In other words, if you do not feel at home, your perception of the experiences created by the brain is out of sync. This is not corrected by letting go of the past, living in the now or coming from the heart. Such ideas are concepts of singularity, and all experiences of the brain are dual. Therefore, if your reaction to them is dualistic, you are in sync with the brain.

Fortunately, this is already so. You just hide it by insisting on having a distinct reaction to the experiences created by the brain. This you undo by perceiving your response to the past or now as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals it is not singular but twofold. Thus you feel at home.

To feel is to separate. Thus you stop separating when you do not insist on feeling something specific. That is simply done by perceiving the meaning you have assigned to something as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals that what you have decided it means is not set in stone. Instead, it is complemented by its counterpart. So if you thought you were sad, it turns out you are happy/sad.

To feel is to not exists because it takes two to feel something, and life is that which is one. In other words, it is not possible to feel something, but it seems possible to feel something if one imagines being in a world where there seems to be more than one. Can you feel it? Of course, you can. You are reading this. That means you think it is possible to be and have more than that which is one, and you keep this illusion ´real´ by feeling it.

To undo that mistake, first, you acknowledge what you feel. Second, you perceive your reaction to it as ´it is what it is.´ That reveals your response is not singular but twofold. Third, you do not focus on the two elements of your reaction but go with their interaction. By doing that, you are in the duality flow, where you feel so complete that, eventually, you forget to define yourself by duality.
