COVID-19 and other symptoms of the belief in being someone definitive

The duality hacks do not heal the body. They sync you with the moment as it is, so you feel happy and thus, in a relaxed way, can assist the body in the best possible way. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The purpose of the duality hacks is not to save you from Coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other problem of the body but from the sick belief that you are in it. Nevertheless, they take the edge off the fear that physical issues seem to cause because they undo the belief that you are somebody. Hence there is nobody to panic.

To have this belief undone, you do not have to hold back negative thoughts (see Positive thinking is bullshit) via meditation or any other means of controlling or restraining yourself. On the contrary. The uncontrolled speed of thoughts brings you into the bliss of nothing (hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing). Here the slate is wiped clean for perceptions about how things should be. Hence you are restored with a perception in sync with the moment as it is. (hack #4.2 The basic self versus the special one). As nothing, therefore, is perceived to be missing or wrong, you feel complete.

Like a virus, a self in sync with the moment as it is does not have goals, needs or desires. Unlike a virus, however, it has a brain. But having no specific goal, there is no attempt to control the brain, which, therefore, is not hold back from injecting the self with shots of happiness. See also Happiness comes from not interfering with thoughts and emotions, whereas sadness comes from trying to do that.

Consequently, you, in an untroubled manner, naturally assist your body as well as others in the best possible way (hack #4.3 To be a basic self is to be good enough). In regards to COVID-19, this, at the time being, seems to be regular hand washing and social distancing.

Pretending to be someone definitibe, no conditioned belief stands in the way of enjoying the moment as it is.

Continuously reading Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings, one or more duality hacks apply themselves so you can enjoy the belief in being someone definitive while slowly but surely having it undone. It could be hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation, that applies itself while reading so that you stop believing you are scared of Coronavirus. Instead, it is something you pretend to be – as you are used to doing in a game. And since you are not what you pretend to be, nobody is panicking. Hence there is plenty of energy to assist the body in the best possible way.

Be aware though, you cannot pretend to be scared if you suppress it. You must feel it to pretend it, and thus not being it.

A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of that which is one played in slow motion

This is leaves from a palm tree outside my window, that I have processed in a very speedy way to simulate the look of such a leaf, when its frequencies are not slowed down. The simulation though looks far from how speedy the real world is.

This is a leaf from a palm tree that Alexius has processed into a fantasy of what it may look like when not organised into something substantial which is separated from something else. His vision, however, is far from illustrating the formlessness of oneness. It is without separation, so there is nothing to be seen. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To organise, plan, process everything thoroughly and manipulate the breath are prime ways of slowing down the flow of thoughts, so you have time to fabricate a perception of your experiences that makes you feel calm, level-headed, and motivated. Brain fog, however, is preferable in regards to returning to that which is one because it prevents you from arranging and controlling thoughts. Hence they run as fast as they can back to their source of nothing from where they emerged as if they could manifest something where there is nothing – just like a river runs straight to the sea when nobody tries to control it.

If you do not try to understand this article, by taking time to process it, you are direct on a course for that which is one because it has nothing to understand since that calls for more than one.

Actually, thoughts run so fast that the construction of them which make up what and where you believe to break down. It may feel like the end is near. But that which is you is not terminated. Since it is that which is one, and it is formless and therefore endless, it never expires.

When there is no attempt to stop or control thoughts, they return to the nothingness from where they emerged as if they could manifest something where there is nothing. Hence there is no illusion of something to hide that which is you is the formlessness of oneness.

cannot be held together anymore. / falls apart / go to pieces / collapses / break down

Actually, they run so fast that what and where you believe to be is left behind, and since it is a construction of thoughts, it falls apart. This may feel like the end. But it is not the annihilation of that which is you. It is that which is one which is formless and therefore endless. When there is no attempt to stop or control thoughts, they return to the nothingness from where they emerged as if they could manifest something where there is nothing. Hence there is no illusion of something to hide that which is you is the formlessness of oneness.

It is only in the world of duality, that there appears to be movements, and that there can be more of it. In reality no movements can appear, because everything move so fast that it is one perpetual present as you can see illustrated in these pics of a fan.

In the reality of that which is one everything moves so fast, that there is no movement to experience – just like the fan in the first of the two above images. But when the speed of the fan is slowed down, like in the second image, there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web and manipulated by Alexius.

In the movie Lucy, Scarlett Johansson demonstrates that if you speed up time infinitely, any object disappears. This absence of something can be compared to that which is one. Everything is so speedy that it is still and at one. You could also say that due to the extreme speed of oneness, there is no time and space so there is nothing to separate one from another.

This, of course, is a metaphor. In oneness there is nothing to be defined as something that can appear at various speed because it is formless. And since it, therefore, is endless there is no more than that which is one. Consequently, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion.

Oneness can be compared to a movie in which it is impossible to distinguish anything from each other because it is played so fast that none of its frames can be seen. A world where there seems to be more than one can be compared to a slowed-down version of this movie in which there appears to more than one frame and, therefore, lots of different things to experience (see also You feel stressed from perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference).

So if you believe to be someone in the movie of a world where there seems to be more than one, you correct it by speeding the movie up – or rather the experience of it. Since that is a construction of thought, the faster the thoughts, the speedier the movie (read more about that in hack #5.2 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

In other words, returning to oneness is not about slowing down thoughts, least of all stopping them. Doing that you are stuck in one frame separated from others. That is as far away, you can get from that which is one. It is not a deadlocked but free-flowing energy, moving at such a speed that everything is fused into the formlessness of oneness.

Fortunately, all you need to do, if you want to return to the formlessness of oneness, is to do nothing about thoughts. Not organising them into something that makes sense, they speed up to the extent that it is impossible to grab more than one thought at a time. Hence the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one fades out, and that which is one, therefore, does not seem to be clouded by this experience.

Alexius does not believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. It is something he pretends. Read more about that in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. So even though he appears to be there, he is not. Just like in the context of such a world, you are not in a game you play or a dream you have. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX:
It is not thoughts as such that brings you back to that which is one, but the emptiness from where they seem to have emerged as if they could turn nothing into something. The emptiness cannot hide there is nothing outside of that which is one since it is formless and therefore endless, and, for the same reason, is without something specific inside it. Actually, there is no inside and outside. But if that which is one is speedy, as written in the above, cannot be known because it requires more than one to make this or any other observation.

In other words, everything in the article is a metaphor for those who believe, it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Thus it is only in the context of undoing that belief that you should not organise thoughts. Living with the belief, it can be quite helpful to do that. It was, for example, very useful when proofreading this article.

Planning and organising are also very good with regards to protecting yourself against the current coronavirus. The pandemic, on the other hand, is beneficial in regards to abort the compulsive tendencies to plan everything. »We don’t know what we’ll be doing in six months, or even tomorrow. We’re stuck in a new kind of everlasting present.” the child psychiatrist Fredrick Matzner says in a recent article about Why Life During a Pandemic Feels So Surreal.

In the same article, Susan Clayton, a psychologist at the College of Wooster, says »Research does show that when you take people away from the things that are familiar to them, it’s surprisingly easy for people to lose track of themselves – their identity, the things that are important to them.«

Hence the present situation can be used to undo the belief in being someone. Take care, though, that only the belief in being someone definitive is terminated and not the body in which the belief seems to reside. In other words, use your common sense when it comes to planning or not.
