SH No talking is needed to come back to that which is one

You see nobody else than yourself, and you are always talking with yourself.

There is no more than the formlessness of that which is one because formlessness is endless, so to uphold the belief in being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you must always talk to yourself. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

»You can’t go a minute without talking to yourself. It takes an incredible act of will not to talk to yourself.« Noam Chomsky

Noam Chomsky, who is considered to be a great contemporary thinker, claims that we spent 99.9 per cent of the time talking to ourselves internally. If this is the correct figure does not matter, because whether you seem to talk internally or externally you always talk to yourself.

Ears cannot hear, neither can eyes see, nor can a nose smell or the body feel. The world that you think you hear, see, smell and feel is an illusion fabricated in the brain, that translates the non solid frequencies it receives from the sensory organs in an abstract body into an experience, as if you are a specific person in a material body, who can sense a tangible world outside of you. In other words, there is nobody but you, so you are always talking to yourself. The belief in being someone definitive – a self – is nothing but a construction of thoughts, and it needs to constantly be nurtured by thoughts in order to make it appear as if it is real. So if you do not talk to yourself all the time, you will not seem to be someone definitive in a body defined by time and space.

Carrying out an incredible act of will not to talk to yourself, as Noam Chomsky puts in the above quote, is, however, just another way of talking to yourself and therefore to confirm the construction of thoughts, that you are someone definitive in a world with like-minded beings.

While you keep on confirming to be someone in solid substance called a body moving around in a world defined by time and space by talking to yourself, you can make this appearance easier by always agreeing with what you say. In that way you do not need not to look for acceptance in a the world that appears to be outside of you.

There is no way of stopping this talking to yourself, while you believe to be someone definitive. But if you do not insist on being someone at all, you do not have to talk to yourself to make it appear as if you are someone definitive. You are nobody and so there is not somebody to hide the formlessness of that which is you. Neither is there anybody to talk to, because that which is you is no different from that which is one, and it requires more than one to talk to somebody.

If you do not believe to be someone definitive, there is nobody to talk to and therefore no belief to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One way to go, where there are no thoughts, could be to use thoughts, so they do not confirm a world where there seems to be more than one but the formlessness of that which is one.

If you do not try to comply with the appearances in a world where there seems to be more than one, but perceive them as symbols of that which is making them possible to be experienced as if they are something instead of nothing, namely the formlessness of that which is one, then there is nothing to confirm you as someone definitive.

Instead you appear to be in a body that is a symbol of the formlessness of that which is one, and when the body is no more that which it symbolises is still there, as it has always been and always will be, because formlessness has no beginning or end.
